Nick Owen is a man wanting to heal the wounds of his past.

From being a rowdy kid, to joining the military as a Combat Engineer, doing two tours of duty to Afghanistan, suffering severe PTSD, working in body retrieval during a weather event, getting shot at over a drug deal gone wrong and spending the night in New York's Central Park on his own, Nick has experienced a life on the edge.

However, his turning point was his son, whom he almost lost in a near-fatal car accident and forms the basis of his mentoring work and his Bruised But Never Broken project.
