Deep Dive:  A highly contagious disease has gone from low global numbers to near endemic rates in some countries, despite medicine, technology and awareness of it at an all-time high. 

In the US, there has been hundreds of cases of measles, some fatal, while in Australia, six out of eight states and territories have recorded cases, some their highest numbers in a decade.  

In this episode of The Briefing, Tara Cassidy is joined by infectious disease expert, ANU virologist Professor David Tscharke, who is among a growing list of medicos and health authorities worried that vaccine indifference and misinformation is spreading faster than the illness itself.
