As a detective, Gary Jubelin used to sit on one side of the interview room table facing murderers, child abductors and rapists. Now he’s sitting on the other side: disgraced, forced out of the police and judged to be a criminal. His new book Badness, shows us the view from the other side.

One of Australia’s most famous detectives has done a very different kind of investigation; instead of locking up criminals he’s befriended some of the country's worst criminals to understand what made them bad.
