God of the Underdogs Part 4 - Audio
The Bridge Church

The Bridge Church
This week we welcome Pastor Tim Olson of Cedar Ridge Church. His message is from the book of Romans.
Moses used the underdog statement "I'm not good enough" with God when asked to lead the Isrealites out of Egypt. How many times have we felt this way too? God asks us to do somethings that are bigger than us and our insecurities come to the surface to prevent us from doing His will. What happens when we recognize and own up to our insecurities?

Guest speaker Dr. Lon Flippo shares what the Word has to say about spiritual warfare.
Ever heard this one, "God helps those who help themselves"? Really? If we were able to help ourselves in every situation, what would be our need for Him? The truth is that we can not do this life on our own. He lovingly comes to the rescue of those who stand before Him humble, broken, weak and helpless.
What do we stand for as Christians? Does the world only know us for what we're against? Do you want to live a life worth following? What we say can either point the world to Jesus or leave a bitter taste.
Has anyone ever told you or have you said, "God will not give you more than you can handle"? Well, what if God does give us more than we can handle in order to stretch our faith and dependence on Him? What does the Bible have to say about God's grace in overwhelming situations? Check out this week's message!
What does the Bible say about this dumb phrase Christians say, "It doesn't matter what you believe, all roads lead to God"?
As Christians we've all said things that we shouldn't have and wish we could take them back. In this new series, 'Dumb Things Christians Say', we'll unpack some common Christian phrases and stack them against Biblical truth. This week we discussed when Christians say, "It's God's will".
Some titles we have are earned and some titles are given to us. This week we talk about what it means to be dad, mom, siblings, in-laws, aunts and uncles.
