Episode description

On today's episode of WEDDING PLANNING Q+A we discuss the impact that Social Media has on expectations within the wedding industry and of your wedding. Does Instagram have a misleading view on what a wedding day must look like? Is every image you look at euphoric...yet seems totally unachievable?

Does Social Media help or hinder your wedding planning journey? How realistic are all those "styled shoots" and can you actually achieve the same grandeur for your own wedding day?

We chat about the pros and cons of online inspiration, how important Pinterest and Instagram are as sources of creative dreaming - and yet why creative suppliers wont 'copy' an image directly when shown by a client.

Also discussed are weddings that are showcased online with what some would deem unrealistic expectations - whether it be the the bride, the styling, the venue or the images - sometimes - what we see isn't always what what it seems!
