Dang dang, verybody come to the breakfast club. I called this the high seas around You know you're even doing it? Yo, so peg yo are you so patty? The World's most Dangerous morning show? D j N this bitch, ANGELI. I stay in everybody's business, but in a good ray. Charlomagne the God, the ruler, rubbing you the wrong way. The breakfast clubs made for everybody. Good morning Usa yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo

yo yo. Good morning shot Leman. The god Peace to the planet is Thursday. Angela stilloud. She's in santral Pay. Yeah, she in Santro Pay last night. Um chucka can chucker car let me rocket shacka callos perform for Magic John's birthday and she's out there for that. So she took some pictures. I seen him with Magic and with Shaka Kun.

So she's out there living her best life. So yeah, I gotta take last night from a sweaty looking It was a picture of the sweaty looking Angelae and another person and uh it was Gail King actually and they was hanging out. Yes, she was like, look who it is. Yes, right, so yeah, she's out of homie Gail King. That picture, Gail King, Yeah, I'll sent you to you. Yeah, that's the homie ya out there living it up, living it up, living it up, living on a part of the illuminati.

So yeah, so you get the messages every time. You know, you know, I gotta take that old baby now right, shout the two Chains who he took the old about ten years of Golden Problem. Now, Two Chains. You know, I'm having my big car show this Saturday. So Two Chains sent me here his car that was on the cover of his album, The Trap Car, The Trap House

Car Pink. I didn't know that the car actually doesn't run, so when they delivered it last night, I was like, I just driving up the driveway and he was like, no, can't driving the driveway. So last night, at one o'clock in the morning, we had to push the pink car. And it's an old car, so Chevy Caprice. It must be like an eighty something, so it's like real metal, real heavy. It took us about an hour to push that sucker up that hill, and everybody was sleeping, so

nobody could help. There was just meet the told truck driver and we had to push that up that damn hill. That's crazy that that car don't work and the two chain need to renew as Illuminati membership. Well, it's just there for aesthetics, you know, because people can come take pictures on it, you can sit on it, you can actually take pictures. That's what we have it for the car show because a lot of times people want to take pictures of the car, sit on it or touch it,

and that's the perfect car for it. So shot two chains for that. That that's why I'm tired as a mother because I was dealing with that last night. Yeah, but it'll be good. So a car show this Saturday, So I can't wait to see you guys. Now, well a can't sell out. Why it can't sell out because the way the car show works is there is no cap number because people come in and out of car shows, so it's not like it's you know a minimum of

ten thousand people. You know, people come in and out, so the building just you just keep selling tickets, which is a great guy. Okay, so they'd be pretty cool. Now today on the show, we have a couple of guests joining us. That's right, because yesterday on Hulu it was Wu Tang Wednesdays. I guess that's what they're doing on Hulu. Yes, they premier to Wu Tang in American Saga, the TV show. That's right, that's right. So we'll have

some of the casts this morning. Right. We have Shimik More who plays ray Kun in the Wu Tang series, also Eric Alexander, and Schmik was also into the Spider Verse. He was also in Dope. He was also in The Get Down on Netflix. In case you don't know who he is. Also he thinks you know who he is though, Well, we'll talk to him. He's great fun. Also, Erica Alexander will be joining us, and Queen Erica Alexander. I love Eric Alexander. Man, she just she's a light that she is.

You might know her from the Cosby Show, but she also plays Rizzar's mom, you said, from the Cosby Show. Yeah, and single, yeah, living single more so than the Cosby Show. I mean Pam on the Cosby Show, of course, but Maxine Shaw attorney at Love Now. Also Ashton Sanders he'll be here as well. He played the Rizzy and then the real Rizzer will be joining us today as well. Bobby did you? Bobby did you the architect of the

whole thing thing? That's right? And tonight it's back. We're back and its back to Nate wowe off, Well, you're not gonna watch you, all right? Sure? All right? So I'm just appointing jay Z. I know what, Jays, I'm not even supporting jam I'm having the ball. I'm gonna tell you when the Packers will be playing. The Bears will tell you what times. Let's get the show cracking front page duds is next age? Lee still not here.

I don't know what we're talking about. I'm sure we'll talk about something about Dory and Hurricane Dory and and some other stuff. All right, Breakfast Go Morning show. Bad little fighting on my mind as I do this all the time. A surprise every other night, another movie came made. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are to Breakfast Club. Let's getting some front page news. Start off with sports. The NFL season kicks off tonight

on NBC at eight twenty. The Packers take on the Chicago Bears. In that game movie played out in Chicago. I definitely was gonna boycott the NFL if the Dallas Cowboys hadn't resigned Ezekiel Elliot. But now that Ezekiel's back in the fold, well, I think what six years, ninety million dollars, I'm all in, baby my goodness now. Also, Hurricane Dorian, it seems like they're twenty deaths related to that in the Bahamas. Of course there's going to be

more fatalities, but that's what they discovered so far. It's now on the coast of South Carolina. They're saying more than one hundred and fifteen thousand people are without power this morning. They're saying if you live on a coach you get expected to get fifteen to twenty inches of rain, and they're saying, fine, shelter because it's gonna be a nasty one. Yeah. Salute to the crib. South Carolina heard downtown Charleston is flooding, but that's pretty routine when things

like this happened. But salute to sue to South Carolina. Also, Disney is donating more than a million dollars to Bahamas for Dorian relief. That donation that's been led by the Disney cruise line. I was actually on that cruise line two weeks ago, no, about a month ago, and post holes on that cruise right now. So yeah, a lot. I mean, any of those cruise ships should be donating money to the Bahamas as much as much money as they make off the Mohammas, right, you know what I mean.

That's that's one of the destinations where they take people on their cruises, So they should definitely be aniing up those cruise line Norwegian and who else they got Now'sion the only one I know as a Royal Caribbean Caribbean Carnival Carnival yup, and then the Disney cruise line. Now, landlord called a cop on attendant who didn't want to pay his rent. You know why because he was playing debt and he played debt and said I'm not paying

my rent. So the landlord called the police and the guy actually had a warranty and outstanding warren and got his ass arrested. Anyway, So I hate people who don't think long time, you know what I'm saying, Like, Like, I'm the type of person I write down short term goals, goals, long term goals. I have short term plans long term plans. That's a short term plan, because how long are you planning to play dad, sir, unless you're planning on moving

in a month, you know what I'm saying. So you played Dad, you save up that little it's just September month for rent to will help you move to the next place to get out. Unless you're doing that, I don't get it, because if you're playing Dad and you're playing to stay there for a while, that's just stupid. Now. Lastly, a New jerseyman scam dozens of women out of more than two million dollars. He was posing as a US

service member. He was stationed overseas and what he would do is he would get women to send him money and he said he would send them back gold bars from the Middle East. And he never sent the gold bars back. Hey, ladies, that was replying to him. You bet off replying to him emails you'd be getting from him Nigerians all a goddamn time. Well, last he was working with Nigerians of scammed victims out of more than

two point one million dollars. He's facing twenty years in prison and a two hundred and fifty dropped on a clues bomb for all my beautiful Nighterian people. I write the best cameras in the business, all right. They don't sit around and wait for reparations. They take them their self. My goodness. All right, my guys, and that's front page news. Now get it off your chest. Eight hundred five eight five one on five one. If you're upset you need

to vent, hit us up right now. Maybe you had a bad night, horrible night, or maybe you feel blessed. You want to spread some positivity. Eight hundred five eight five one on five one. Hit us up right now. It is the breakfast club, the morning, the breakfast club. Wake up, wake up, your time to get it off your chest. Because you're man or blessed. hear from you on the breakfast club. Hello. Who's this? Mark? Ain't Mark? Marky? Yeah? And may RK no a, may RQ? Oh? What's something? What's up? All right? Get it off your chest? I was just calling to talk about how Malik Yelba came out as licking times women. Okay, yeah, I think Chris Brown next man. Man, it's six something in the morning and that's what's on your mind about who's sleeping with who? Why do you care? Why do you care about who's sleeping with who? At six something in the morning.

I mean, if Malik Yoba has to come out, Chris Brown needs to come out. He's saying some girl who looked like she used to be a man? Mark? Are you calling from Marca? You're a man a woman. I'm a woman. If you don't believe me, she's in a snooz. I don't care. Do you have a job, yo, Do you have a job? Well? I want him to leave women alone so he can stop, can stop, you know, wouning all over him. We can know what he really liked. He might like it all, he might be greedy. Mark,

Can you leave Chris Brown alone? Please? Why do you why do you care who he likes? Huh? Why do you care who he likes? Oh? My god? Because he wants to put down black women and calling frogs. But he's dating women who look like men. That's why I care. But what if those women are black? What if they're black Asian? I don't even know I'm entertaining this conversation. I'm not having having this hypothetical Outcomversation's women, what's wrong with that? You don't know what that man like? That's

a wrong with that. But don't put down black women when you dating women who look like men. By the way, do you want to come out to clous This is why you can't believe nothing you read on social media. That's why you can't believe nothing you on YouTube read on social Media's what he calls on social media. And the girls we've seen him with, you calling up him saying that that man likes transgender women, transsexual women, and you have no reason to say that women he's been

with that look like men. Yes, he's about to come out to closet. He's thirty years old. He's having a little midlife prices tattake tattooed the shoe on his face, Nike shoe on his face. Some women have strong jaws, Ma, he didn't get they got strong faces, strong features. He didn't. He won't clear up the rumor. If his blue it's pregnant. Now. No, it's six in the morning, y'all so worried about? Have you had some breakfast yet? Why y'all do romer? I'm

calling it about the roomer. You made this up? We do? No. Um, it's not six in the morning for me if I just got out for work, is it you made this up for night? No, I didn't make it that you did. And stopped labeling people early in the morning when you don't know what you ain't gonna reading the labor Oh my god, you people are crazy this morning. Man, everybody need a hug? Hello? Who's this? What's the DJ? Envy? Hey? What's your name? Bro? The man boy Gary would con

Man, you hurt my feelings. Bro, I was naming podcast yesterday. Yeah that you listen to the rat Oh you want me to lie, and that's why I messed with you. I don't want you to lie. Bro. He broke four separate kids league? Really, man, don't tell me that? Well google that story now, yeah, boy, don't tell me. Don't tell me that. Give me anxuiety whenever you're dropping my kids off the daycare. Yeah, don't tell me that when I got my four year old

just starting free school. You know what I'm saying. The wait, my anxiety set up. I don't need to hear stuff like that. Not me either, But thanks Gary? Hello? Who's this? Kay? Why are you whispering? Bro? You know why he whispering? Now? I'm in the gym right now? Okay? All right? Oh no, no, no, no, no, So I want to talk to Charlotte because I gotta beat with chick um. You at the gym right now working out, and you gotta beat for Charlemagne. I don't know if I wanted to. What, man, did you see

in there that made you think of Charlemagne? Bro? Well, it's just me and the gym. Shut up? But something You are such a tough cretic when it comes to the when here talking about these bars? Man, I was listening to I just started listening to raps of It, and I'm like, Yo, she's dope. But I listened to the Soul Jena record and I'm like, yo, Jake Cole is ripping it. I never said he didn't. I just said Rapidy Rush is better. Yeah, But why why always

have to be somebody watching Jake Coole? Like, why can't just be a dope record? Like, honestly, do you think Jay Cole is overrated? No? I don't think Jay Cole is overrated. I think Jay Cole is dope. I just think Rapsid he's better. And you think you think pushes the t and that Coming Home record you think that could have? You think he didn't do the best on that of you, I've heard push your teas pitch Charper bars.

I mean the record is a good record. Though, But I'm just talking about as far as push your t's lyrical content and what we're used to him doing nowadays. I thought he could have had some shopper bars on him. Your second set, do your second set? Brother? All right? But I love y'all. Man, I'm happy I got this is my second time. So I thought were about to have a little debate. But you're doing in the gym right now, Bro. We exercise, so I mean I was,

I was. I was on the bench for us, but I jumped off to talk to ya, sing, you know, so I can focus on a conversation. What was your bench pressing? Bro? One thirty five is like, Man, I'm right now, one thirty five. I warm him up with two twenty five. I war him up with two twenty. I warm him up with two twenty five. King little all right, Well let's let's get in the gym. Then i'll show you bat and I can tell you all right, I ain't coming to New York. One thirty five. That's

the that's the that's the bar. You know in two forty five, You know my southern one was up to that. You should be ashamed of yourself, man, Come on, man, I'm about to go, man, don't make you go ahead work the ball gonna fall on his neck. Now, I'm messing with us. One thirty five, black God, get it off your chest. Eight hundred five eight five, one on five. One of you need to vent. You can hit us up at anytime. Now, we got rumors on the way. We're give an update on Kevin Harts. Don't move. It's

the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. It's about is the rumor report with Angela the Breakfast Club. Now Kevin hard Uh, it came out that he suffered three spinal fractions fractures, excuse me, and it's still in a lot of pain. That's saying he's still in intense pain. Um, they're saying he will make a full recovery. It's gonna take a little time, but they're saying he's doing pretty good. Oh. I mean, his back gonna definitely hurt when it rains

for the rest of his life. You know what I'm saying. Forty years old and it's not gonna heal exactly the same. But I mean, with some therapy and stuff, he'll be out. Yeah, I've surged you on two vertebrates. Yeah, we expect it said, it'll be several weeks, if not months. And you know what, I don't like. I've seen this yesterday too. I don't like the fact that when you called nine one one, they released it nine one one call. I don't see

the point of it. But they only do it. They only do it to like celebrities, right cases, everybody's call. They only do it like high profile cases. And I wonder do they get paid for that, like I don't want to when they release it to like TMZ, does somebody get a check for that, because you know TMZ pays for audio and video and stuff like that. Yeah, I heard, uh, you know, Kevin Kevin Hart's call. I guess some woman called I don't know who it was

called from the house. And it's just disturbing that they get that much information, and they had the guy calling from the accident scene. You know, It's just I just want to information. I just want to know what's the reasoning, Like, I mean, it might be a reason for it, I don't know. I just want to know why they released that publicly, Why do they choose to do I don't know either. I just don't like it. It bothers me now also Dwayne Johnson, he steps in for Kevin Hart

as Kelly Clarkson's show guests. Now, Dwayne Johnson was on his honeymoon but left his honeymoon early to be I guess the host on the Kelly Clarkson Show. I don't get that either, button that's this guy. Yeah, but vacation, I mean that wasn't was in the show. He was a guess. Yeah, I wouldn't. I wouldn't have came off vacation to fill in for nobody. He says. When my Dwayne Johnson said, the Rock said, when my son Kevin Hart goes down with an injury, his big daddy steps in.

But I don't call me your son just because I'm smaller than you. Munkey, all right, we two both grown ass man. I don't like that. Call me son because I shine like woman. Don't call me son just simply because you are ten times bigger than me. He says. I did leave my honeymoon early, and now me and Kelly are new best friends. Two Monday, we had the best time. I don't call a grown man your son just because he's smaller than you. It's like a Marsham

like to say Shawty. He's six pot six shorty, all right, five five nine actually yeah about five six five six. Now we gotta sit Rest in peace to Lashawan Daniels. Now, he's a Grammy winning song writer. He's written songs like The Boy is Mine, You Rock My World from Michael Jackson. It's not right, it's okay. Whitney Houston telephoned by Beyonce. I'm trying to think a bunch of others say my name. That's his child. I don't know the brother, but rest in peace to him. How do you die in a

car accident? Yes, they died in a car accident. He was doing, I believe, a music conference in North Carolina. A lot of people will post about him. I never met the brother, but he seemed like he touched a lot of people. So I just wanted to say rest

in peace and see what he's saying. When you when you just report a story like Kevin Hart, and you see how bad that car looked in that accident he's in, You see how lucky he is to be alive, right because his brother, Lashawan Daniels, I don't believe in luck, but you know it wasn't in the card for him. Yeah, and he passed away at age forty one. See you what I'm saying, that's my rest and peace to that brother man. Absolutely have mercy. And lastly, this might make

you happy. Oprah Winfrey. She's launching Wellness, an arena tour where she's gonna be talking about her motivational spirit on the road, She's gonna be talking to different people about wellness and getting in shape and mental health and a bunch of other different things. Her tour starts on March ends on March seventh, but she's gonna be hitting San Francisco, Atlanta, Dallas, Charlotte,

North Carolina, Brooklyn, and Minnesota. I'm all for that. Dropping a clue bump over wing for anybody that's out here trying to elevate the conversation and mental health and eradicate this stigma around mental health and you know, elevating the conversation about mindfulness. I'm all for it. Now, she's gonna be donating a million dollars from her tour proceeds to her benefit w W Good and that's gonna help bringing fresh food, healthy food to unserved communities. Only a million dollars.

Who oh, you said that organization okay ye, So and that's it. That is your room report. Angeley is not here. Look, that's all you're getting. Okay, that's crazy though. What now I'm just saying, I don't know, it's just crazy. Well, I'm just sitting there thinking about Kevin Hart sitting up, laid up somewhere trying to recover from surgery. Meanwhile, on social media, they're still accusing this man and being homophobic because of the episode of the shop we did on HBO.

And it's just the irony of Kevin Hart being called homophobic when you are laying around with a broke back. Well, you're good. You're good. What you're good? You're good? Good? Yeah, I gotta give it to you. You're pretty good, brother, pretty pretty good. I don't know what you're talking about. Pretty good. All right. Well, when we come back, we got front page news. We'll give you information about Dory and the Hurricane Dorry, and and we gotta tell you

about this guy that scamming women. All right, two million dollars. We'll play about Nigerian connected with some Nigerian's. We'll talk about the stereotype. If it's true, we'll talk about it when we come back. It's the Breakfast Lugo morning. Yeah, just out a deal lamon, Yeah yeah, I go out, won't Yeah, Yeah, happening morning. Everybody is DJ MVY, Angela Yee, Charlemagne the guy. We are to Breakfast clublet's getting some

front page news now. Angela Ye is out in Santro Pay living it up with Magic Johnson's Magic Johnson King sent me a picture yesterday and her and Angela Ye. I don't know what the hell he was at. He was having a good old time. That stay well. I've seen Shaka Khan performing. I've seen a bunch of people before, and they were doing Electric Slide. They were having a good old time. There you go, Angela y'all there with her demo. He's stupid. Now, let's get in some front

page news now. Out in NFL football, the season kicks off tonight on NBC at eight twenty. The Packers take on the Chicago Bears. In Chicago are watching. Oh okay, now it all makes sense. What's that because they're doing That's why they're doing the Impact Change concert there to day, I guess because it's the NFL opener. So Meek Mill Rhapsod, the Megan Trainer and they're all performingated there. It's a free concert in Grant Park, that's right. And then Rock

Nation and an Impact Change. I guess you said Impact Change. Impact Change is giving four hundred thousand dollars to the Better Boys Foundation and the Crushers Club, and both those organizations are designed to help at riscue with alternatives to gang violence, if I'm not mistaken, Okay, yeah, and saying they'll be doing events like that and making donations like that in every NFL city. So so that makes sense. So first day, jay Z already is involved with giving

four hundred thousand dollars to two munizations in Chicago. Okay, yes, right, absolutely, All right, Well, we gotta talk about Hurricane Doria. Now. The death toll rises to twenty in the Bahamas. It is now hit the coast of South Carolina. It seems like one hundred and fifteen thousand people are without power in South Carolina and Georgia. This morning, they're saying expect fifteen to twenty inches of rain and they're telling people to take shelter. So to everybody in South Carolina, I

ain't checking on none of my family. I mean, they ain't hit me I think I did hit my mom and be like, yo, you good. Your mom's is there, your pops is there? Families there, sisters understand that that's a that's the generation that went through Hurricane Hugo. I went through Hurricane Hugo. The category fives. When you start seeing those two, was it the two? I think it's about two. Yeah, thein't not tripping off that maybe you know,

board up the house and keep it moving. Now, Disney is donated more than a million dollars to Bahamas for Dorian relief, as they should. Didn't he what this is coming from the Disney Cruise line as they should because all those cruise ships go through the crib and they go through Mohammas all the time. Absolutely, I was there, what about three four weeks ago, shout the DJ pro style.

He's there now, so that's a good thing. Tyler Perry also said he'll donate that He hasn't said what he's gonna donate, but he definitely said he's gonna help the Bahamas. And lastly, a new Jersey is he man scanned women out of two million dollars on dating sites. Now he scanned more than two million dollars he told him to send money and he would be sending back gold bars. I'm not mad at him. I don't think he did

anything illegal. What do you mean? Because if I ask you for something, if I said, YO, send me some money, I'm gonna send you some gold bars. Ain't no contract, you know what I'm saying. So I'm I'm not committing to anything other than sending you some gold bars. If you want to send me that money, that's really your dumb ass. But he never sent the gold bars. It don't matter. Why would you send somebody money for gold bars because they said they had to hook up on

gold bars? And please, I don't even know what that means. Well, he's facing a maximum sets of twenty years in prison in the two hundred and fifty thousand, all the fine if convicted, or dropping the clues for him clues bomb for him being a number one for NESSA. Okay, how can you really be mad at this person? If somebody's stupid, that's literally like telling people you want to sell him to Brooklyn Bridge, Like why do you like that's stupid to fall for something like that. No, but somebody can

ship you go bars. It can't ship you to Brooklyn Bridge, bro, you might as well respond to the emails you get from Nigerian's. Okay. If you're gonna be sending out money to people for gold bars, well it's it's not that bad of a scam if you think about it, right, think about it. He scammed two point one million dollars, right, his fine is only two hundred fifty thousand dollars. So he didn't made about one point seven on the clues BONX for the number one for that's an he didn't

made one point seven and not give it you. They got a picture him. Let me see what he looks like. You got the money phone is and that's what I'm talking about. That's what I'm talking about right there. Okay, if you think about it, another picture with the money phone. It's time he got his money in a bag. They're not gonna give him a maximum life sentence in his life.

They're not gonna give him the maximum sentence. So even if he got to do sit for three four years, when he come out, he got one point seven man and put a gun to nobody and rob nobody. He simply said, look, I'm gonna give you some gold bars. You send me this money. How we know he wasn't gonna send the gold bars? How do you know his shipping? Just a little lake. We don't know. Stop going a clue box for that young man again. What's his name? He got no name? How let me find his name?

Ruben Surpone. And you don't know what who he was scamming. He might have just been scamming old white man. He's thirty five years so if they have the case, that's reparations. God damn. He said he was kiming women, dozens of women. Oh what he white? I don't know. Context matters. I don't know, all right, or that is your front page news. When we come back, Shamik Moore will be joining us. He's an actor. He plays Ray Krn in the new

Wu Tang series or what else? What other movies He's been in Sharman, he was on the in The Get Down on Netflix, he played Shining Fantastic. What else was she making? He was in the Spider Man movie Into the Multiverse, Dope. He was in Dope. So we'll kicking with him when we come back. I just to breakfast Cloud, good morning. Donnat let my son the kid like a man. If I got the kid kid, he make I got what? Oh on the gang? I was a mom. What was you thinking? Remember them days and the schools hot and

fifteen game? Ibout to follow in a twenty hours and drinking. If you would just quiet, I give you my holland by me day, I would fight. It's some damon. And if it come deeping, I was raising a deeping. I don't be singing. Take gona deep in, but I get the back where you're tweaking. Come around with that raw rock you got on to see me when the game ain't playing film a matter fact, we don't playing at all. Oh, g was in the hell, but we gotta run to

smoke at all. Wasn't on the front, but you better fall. Were gonna kill him down. We don't kill him, Mom, it's been a ten. When I'm in the moro, I was onna bend with it in my drunk and that's smoking. I'm black in. That's smoking our blackout. If you run blowing back down, I was gonna buy our back down. You gonna follow, Oh, but I never back down in the school. I was trapping in the school. You was

class clown asleep. Yeah, so the kid I got if I got kill one leading, I got one overseas, Rabye, Rabye. He the Breakfast club e j Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. We got a special guest in the building. Yes, sir, meet more. It's good plays ray Kun and the new Wooting Hulu series.

Now that's a big deal. And I'm gonna tell you why it's a big deal because I'm forty one years old and Wu Tang provided the soundtrack to My Life Only Built for Cuman Links, one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time. So did you listen to any Wu Tang before this role? Uh? When I was filming Cut Through City, It's how I met Rizza and we shared the agent and he made me listen to

Wu Tang. But when I listened to thirty six Chambers for the first time, I was kind of like when I was hearing like the Interluders and it took me out of it. Yeah, it was. It was crazy. I wasn't but now I have the advertise for it because I get him more. Now, why why ray Quads part? Why ray Quad at the character? Um? He tried? Did you try out for that? Specifically or no, I don't audition no more. Oh okay, shop o your little matching

jeans suit night. I'm saying this is a This is a you know I seen on the cake right here there you go, you know what I mean. Um, I think I met Risen and then I impressed him because I showed him in color. He didn't think I had. And when Ray Kwan met me, I think he was scared. He might have been like, oh yeah, this guy seemed nice right here. I don't know if he killed you. Hen't think it was gritty and grimy. I don't think he thought that I could be gritty and grimy. But

you know, I haven't seen it yet. So like Gray is a little short, little chubby that they try to make it true to life physically, Yeah, I put in I put on a fat suit, and yeah it's not fat. It wasn't a fact suit. It was because he ain't for you. Wasn't fat in the document in them in the movie though. Yeah, I mean no, I'm like early fact like, it's not it's not like him now, you know what I'm saying. It's like, you know, and it grows over the whole season, so he gets bigger. Yeah,

it gets bigger over the season. This season two, I'm gonna be bigger. You know what I'm saying So that that is there a lot that you learned by taping this, because it's a lot. Even watching the first episode, I learned so much and I thought I was taking You saw it? Yeah, Oh well, then I don't have to tell you that I killed it? Right? No? What you think I killed it? You know? I mean, did you like it? Tell me? The first episode I thought was dope.

I mean, it was a lot that I didn't necessarily know, like pretty much requal and tried to kill ghost Face. You know, man, Jesus gave it away. Spoiler spoiler that damn sorry, because I definitely didn't know that ghost my favorite rapper of all time. That's what I'm saying that. The fact that they got so close after what happened was just like wow, that special. It makes it very special. Was it hard to getting character and play that scene when you shooting at people and you being a grimy

New York drug dealer? Um? I think the most difficult part was being convincing with the lingo and your son. Is it shot right in the building out I mean like I don't really talk like the good you know what mean Like I mean, it's like it's um because I can't sell his voice just by talking because his voice is different than mine. So I have to get it to it how yo, son, yo, you gotta talk like this show, you know what I mean? Like that's it's yeah. So when you say you don't audition no more,

what does that mean? Because I'd be hearing stories and I don't know how true it is, but even big superstar actors like Denzel still got an audition sometime. Really, I mean, I don't know if that's I don't think I don't see him in an audition at any point. Ye. But for me, it's just because when I when I do the on tape thing, it never works out. But when it does work out is when I'm in front of a camera and it's lights camera action. I'm in.

I'm in like the outfit because when I like, for instance, with Dope, when I went when I did the self tape audition, I mean they liked it, they had me come out, but it was really the in person thing the second round that really got me in there. Same thing with the get down, you know, but for instance, coming to America. You know, Kenya Bears was involved, and then there was a different director at first, and it was ken You went to Spider Man to the Spider

Verse premiere. He was like, Yo, you want to be in coming to America play edy Sun. I was like yeah. Left it alone for like eight months. I mean it came back around. They changed the director. The director wanted me the audition. I'm like, I'm not in the audition. You know what I'm saying. I'll talk to them. My man just like, no, you got an audition. I'm like, I'm not in the audition. I audition and it's kind

of booze you bro, No, I'm not. It's so many different scenarios though, it's not even it's not even boogie. It's just like, I don't think you at that level where you can just say audition. Yet I'm at a level where I can say that I want to choose wisely with roles that I put energy into because I'm not just doing the acting thing. And it's not it's, um,

I just have bigger, bigger goals. If I was just trying to make the most movies, do every movie that's coming my way except every offer then that's a different scenario. You're exactly right, but it's not even now I feel like I'm too big, you know what I mean. I'm feeling confident today. You know what I'm saying. But that outfitel you dressed like little knives actually got the bootshone you try it on Cowboy now he turned it down. Hey, yo, this is the same You're gonna take your horse to

the whole time like this when he put on boots. Now, come on, yeah, I gotta show respect. Did you get the part for Come to America? No? What I'm saying, like, so every audition that I did, you did audition for that. I ended up auditioning because because the director switched up got you, that's when it didn't go through. And I was like, yo, I feel like I wasted two weeks of my time on that. Now wait a minute. That could be a humbling experience though, because you probably thought

you was I'm the man, I got this. You did the role? You like, they don't want you. They I think they chose your main foller right, yeah, I mean I'm not even sure that is, but congratulations to him, because you know what I'm saying no, no disrespect. Look, you got to come into America and I didn't come on. Yeah, you got to think I'm on CBS two. I didn't watch it. Yeah, he used to be on Guy Cold Me back in the day. Funny, funny dude. So he

deserves the opportunity congratulation. He was in what else he was and he was in that movie where everybody was turning it in the Horses doesn't sound like one out to watch. I mean that movie. I can't remember thee that. I can't remember that Rose was in. Man shut up anyway because I said you were for trade a brotherhood? Yeah, who think film? Did you become like a brotherhood with the other actors? Don't say? Everybody was coming and set

like their characters. So yeah, you know, everybody was feeling himself. Everybody was in their chamber the way Rizzi said, And what did y'all take? Did y'all take it? We had one scene in Brooklyn in the studio, but yo, Joey Badass is playing inspector Deck Daves is playing method man, Aston Sanders is playing Rizzi. I'm playing Ray Kwan. It's a very I think it's an interesting scenario. Did you get a collaborating of their music. Nah, nobody, nobody really uh,

nobody looking at me like that. Yet you feel me it's all good. I understand the reality. But as soon as the things which do you know that everybody's gonna be hitting me? So it's all good? Did you can so you don't get the contribute none of the music either? Like nah, So you want to be respected as a musician more so than acting, not more so just as well.

I just don't know if there was there's been a Denzel and a Michael Jackson in the same body people that act into music that there's a long list of people, but they're more music than acting to me, or more acting than music to me, and most actors of Matt Corney when they're doing music. But with me, I just want to um my desires to like kind of just let the art speak for herself and not like do

all this that I'm doing right now. To be honest, I'm talking, I'm talking, I'm talking, but the visuals and dropping music and just like, oh I did not expect that from show. It's exactly what I want, all right. We got more with Shamique, more of the actor when we come back. He plays Ray Kuon in the new Wu Tang series, So don't move. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We all the Breakfast Club. We're kicking it

with Shamique More. He plays ray Kuon in the Wu Tang series. Charlomagne, that's people, tim Z get on you because they ran upon you and you didn't know the member of the Wu Tang clan. Yeah, now, I mean I knew. I knew most of them. I just I knew most of them, not the ones I didn't meet. Capa Donna? Was you guy? What can you say? Him? Now? Okay, let's all right, Ray Kuan, method Man, ghost Face, Rizzer,

you got Cape Donna, um odb um. See. I'm from a different I'm from an era where we say the Rizza, the old dirty Backs, God, Ray Kuan, the Chef, Ghost space Killer and h D Man. That's how we were. Remember, I should start doing it like that. But I pretty much said most of them. Just now just the one up. Well, um, try of talking to you, all right, but when you got some music dropping, I do have some music dropping, but it's we remastered the song play Last Time right

the beat. It's still the first single and the mixtape is coming. And then like, so you're still pushing ride to Beat. That's been a while or I haven't really been pushing it. I just kind of like put it out on it out on here. And the last time you came here, you were trying to teach Charlomi a dance. Nah. I think he was just a little jealous of my moves or something like that. I got moved with me. But listen, are you inspired by people like Lame and Lizzo?

And the reason I say that is because like they had the records that they pushed for a wow, Like I think the song that just went number on for Little She's been pushing for two years. If I'm not mistaken, I mean, you see, I don't have the team, but like everybody that believes in me believes in the acting side. So I'm pretty much pushing myself and like financing myself to get to that. That's kind of I mean, it

feels like it's my battle. But when I accomplish it, you know what I mean, I'm just gonna look at everybody and be like, I know It's all good. You are appreciating your blessing right now, al right, because I don't want you to be one of those people that's overlooking the fact that you are having a successful acting career. You know what I'm saying, Like, don't overlook that because

you want to be a popping music carder. Right. I'm thankful, for sure, I'm thankful and I'm humbled by the experiences that I have. But I do have goals and I'm not I'm still absolutely, you know, absolutely, I ain't. I ain't where I need to be yet where I'm gonna be Like, Oh, I think I'm gonna chill and I'm good and that I'm right now. I'm just like, he don't even see me yet, you know what I mean? You feel that way, definitely, I don't feel that. I mean, I love to get down. I loved you a shallow

fantastic I love dope. I've seen you in the streeting like, oh he did good good in this wootang Seriously he said good. You don't think I killed it said you did good? Episode from the first sold you did good? But I see you when he playing Damn man, I'm talking about that episode one good. Nobody gonna give you props after they they're gonna be like, you know, we

gotta take the young boy down and not. I'm just telling you that people on social media are natural haters anyway, so they're gonna be like, I'm not gonna give it up for him. The negativity spread faster than the positive. Y'all find something negative to say about my performance as someone that I'm not that was doing his thing before I was born, typing on up, leave comments on this, send it to your friends, do all of that, do all of that. Are you confident in your performance? That's

all that matters. Yeah, I'm confident. You got to a fight. Oh, I fight every day. I'm a boxer. I'm not a professional about Yeah. Why did you ask that question? Can he talk so much like somebody gonna test him one day? But I'm talking She's just kind of like it. But I like that talk because it's good. So he like, Yo, somebody gonna check and see if his chan is right. Jazz just turn you on when you hit a young boy talking like this. Jazz is a young inter. I

don't know. Does that turn you on? Okay? She said not really? Yeah, she said not really. Oh that's okay. How do I feel? I feel like I'm a happy person. I'm thankful to be alive. I have a premiere, come going on to night. What we're saying on Hulu? Frizzard just walked in the building. There you go. Why a right, look, why didn't you do your interview with rizz and everybody else? Why don't he just you know, come on in right now? We continue, you know what I'm saying, Support the support

the black brother. Hey, look, most of my projects were in New York, right, Spider Man to get down and Utang at this point, so and the next one pretenders all New York. I feel like, you know, New York should showed me a little love, just a little. We can start at the breakfast club and y'all can play right at the beat Nah, listen, see y'all see this,

y'all see this, this one I'm talking about. Didn't want to do his interview with Ritha and the rest of the cash because like, I want my own interview, green rule own everything. Yeah, trying to build Schmick Marraine because I have no problem with the confidence that should meet more. Hass, somebody got to be confident. Let's play snip it up his joint, A snippet, A snippet exactly exactly. Let's see

how y'all doing me. It's all good. Watch when that's number one in the country, I'm gonna come right on back. Let's play his joy. Let's play introduce your joy, man, Yo, this is right to be off. The new mixtape. Worth the risk, all right, man, it's the Breakfast. Take calls on it and see if people like it. That that asked. I want to know. I want to know if people think about this. Surely, I genuinely want to know what people think about Let's play. Let's bring some of the

interns in and play. Now, this is honest. These some honest people, Simon Taylor to come here, some honest black women. I expect honesty. Just me, me, just me, me and you bids time for you to do. To be a bumper, not your nose. Whoa bumping your nose in a lightning She's didn't sitting the low. No, I'm sliding behind me now while with you body. Don't be a bed girl. It's all in the timing. I didn't be I didn't be on you by didn't me I can spide the free Kite didn't seek. You can't lie me no frand

Watch your rock broke with a body the body. I'm loving your body. God, your ass bands around like it ain't got nobody. Girl. I'm just saying that, Dad, I wanna steel in the film. Or you're doing that as like you ain't got nobody. Girl, I'm just saying that sad wanna feelmre in the film. More? Did you doing

that ass like you ain't got nobody? E yoush? What judging Brook? I can spye the free kind and see you can't lie to me? Good gush that we should make more single Ride to beat? All right? So, um, we have some people that work up here that we're gonna ask how they like it. So the first person we're gonna ask is Jasmine. So, Jasmine, what did you think? My honest opinion, the song is amazing, But looking at

you and hearing you, I don't see that vibe. I see like if I gave maybe somebody from the Caribbeans, and I don't know if you are from now he's jamaking. I didn't know. So you know, when he talks in his in his aura doesn't give me a Caribbean vibe. What did you give your old town? Really really really trying it today? It gives me like a New York Brooklyn vibe, so you know. But again, I'm from the Walda, so they do do West Indie music up here. But

it's a good song the Caribbean. But he speak from Atlanta. Okay, my honest opinion, I think that your voice is like a little too light with a beat. I would like either double it or just go harder next time. Okay, but it's a good it's a vibe. How do you feel? Schmiki like this? You can take this? Yeah, I can take it all right? Come on, stacee what you Stace is a DJ? By the way, she's a DJ. I like it. Afrobeats is will sounds afrobeatish. It is in so it's like slow dancing music too. I think it'll

be good in the club. Okay, yeah it is. It is. And Taylor, you say you like it? Grynd to it. Okay, you know what I mean, though we don't grind to it as in like like Stacey just said, like it's slow where it's like a good vibe to get close to the guy. That's all right, you got I guess two or two. Yeah, it might have been the speakers and maybe you didn't get enough of a vibe. But I appreciate the feedback, the honest feedback. Okay, but we

appreciate you Shik for joining us. I want to musician, you know why, because you want to blow as a musician. Thank you. I think I want everybody to accomplish their dreams. I just want I want the opportunity, that's all. If you don't like it after you hear it, then that's one thing. But I want the opportunity for it to be played and in front of you. But again, you know, asking for it. It's never how it works, you know. But we're gonna play it loud for the people. Say.

I think it would be very entertaining to watch him. Meek Moore is a big superstar. I think it would be very entertaining to watch him because he'd be so goddamn bougie. It's so arrogant. Oh yes, you would be the guy to say I need all green Eminem's No, no, no, I don't eat Eminem's. Oh yeah, I'm pesctarian Parian fish. Well, I go to church too. Yeah, yes, okay, what do you say that to me? It's the breakfast club. Look, it's a bad about Hills that money morning. Everybody is

DJ Envy and Jula Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the breakfast Club. Listen. You can go to my instagram. I just posted a picture of Shamik Moore, who plays Ray kun on Wu Tang on Hulu, and please leave a comment about what do you think of his record Ride to Beat? But please at him? Don't just you know, tell me at him. His at name is in my Instagram. It's at Shamik Moore. I don't know if I did. We did we give our opinion on the record. No, we didn't. Oh I'm not giving it. Give it down?

What's your opinion? Not here? I don't talk about people back. Well, you'll hear it. You'll hear it. That means you didn't like it, because if it liked it, then you would say I like it. I didn't dislike it. It just was. It just was there. But you said you given the opinion. Oh, you asked me. It was just dad. It wasn't bad. It wasn't good either, though. You know last year, you know what he came two years ago. He played the same record, really, yes, the same dance he did. He

did that same dance with the popping lie. You don't mean telling me stuff like this, you know what I remember bad. I'm't remembering this stuff. I told you, I told you that records like three years old, but I didn't know we played it before. I mean sure that I remember he did the pop a lock thing. Remember you did? And you try to pop a lock with him? Oh yeah, Well you gotta stop riding that beat you meet,

tell me, you know, get off that horse. All right, Well, when we come back, we got your rumors, Linzo ball he admits the BBB shoes with trash, He did not. We we'll tell you about it when, because that's the tease man Angeli's name. I'm trying to tease make people like word, did he really say that? Okay, so you're lying? All right, Well he didn't say that. Well yeah, but keep it lock rooms all the way. I had I'm reading some of these reviews on Shmik Moore songs. What

did they say? Meldonado seventy six says not feeling that song. Funny Fat Kid from Indianapolis says Enview won't be making no mini mix anytime soon. And that guy I Have This twenty three says it wasn't too bad. Stylish Silk says, oh, Charlottagne, you humble him so quick, but the song wasn't bad at all. Qt whorls and I think she more. Song was okay, but his voice was not hard enough and he's sang too slow for the beat. It just didn't

sound mastered. Curtis would a K says song is okay, but his attitude is uh, I can't say that word dufy dukie but not dukie like that's word. I got you, I got you. You could have just said, is that's all you could have said? All right, Well, let's get to the rumor report. Oh what I gotta say? Oh I got tease myself? All right, come on, you know what I want to hear? Right now, Let's get to the damn rumors. Man's Angel on the Breakfast Club, All right now, Linzo Ball amidst the b B B shoes

were defective. Now, these shoes caused five hundred dollars prepare and they were pretty much trash zeal twos. I was playing they was not ready to really, no one knows it but demo how to backpack and he had extra like four pairs of shoes, and the I had to switch him every quarter, so they were just ripped. I'm on the phone like this when Alan was run everything. I'm like, yo, like I'm not playing them shoes, Like I don't care about He's all right, just switch every

brand next every every game? All right? Cool? Wow, why'd you wear them just because you guys had Like I would not let you do that to the BBB brand, h DJ and what that is a black on brand? So did a pair of Nikes last year on Zione Williams and so what sometimes it happens. But his tapping once, this happened every quarter. No, we do sit down. They had to change him every quarter because they would rip. Didn't you hear what he just said? No? I did not,

and I would not listen to such nonsense. Well he doesn't even wear I got me some BBB slide. They probably got a break, because soon did you wear him? Later on? Today? All right, now, all Kelly, he's out of our solitary confinement. He's moved to general population. He said. He's good in Chicago, but when he has to come to New York and he has to go to other places, he doesn't feel too sick. And you can't pick and choose when you want to be in general population. They go, oh, yeah,

you don't want to be in general population in New York. Well, he can't pick and choose. Minnesota. You're gonna be in general pop. You're gonna be in general pop wherever you go, Sir, he says. In Shottown, he's good money, he said, in New York. In Minnesota, he's good with being in the box. And he's right. But I don't think that you should be able to pick and choose. I And lastly, Macmiller's alleged drug dealer has been charged for supplying the deadly pills.

He's twenty eight years old. His name is Cameron. He believed that he sold macmiller to counterfeit oxycodon pills that killed him. So he's been arrested and we'll find out what happens he's been held without bail without bond. He's said to be arranged on October eleventh. M I always feel like such a hypocrite when conversations about drug dealings occur, because I used to sell drugs. You know what I'm saying, but we know it's wrong, correct, So it's like, yeah,

he should be in jail. He should be in jail number one for selling drugs because you know, drugs are in our community and they destroy families, and he should definitely be in jail for selling drugs that are killing people. Counterfeit drugs, drug he should be in drugs the drugs regardless. Yeah, it's all he might he might not have known that they were counterfeit, but the fact that he sold drugs,

he should be in jail. Yeah, because whether you're not your you know you mcmiller died the way he died. I mean, at the end of the day, all drug dealers, when you're selling a certain type of drug, you are destroying communities and you are killing people regardless, So why don't you think about that when you're doing this? Didn't know anybody when you learn, so you don't see the

destruction you creating into your community. You just think about the money that's going into your pocket all you just you know, being a product you environment and doing what everybody else is around you doing that everybody or whatever. I just said, you know what I meant to go. I'm pretty sure y'all got to just what I was trying to say. We caught you. Yes, all right, well that is your room or report. Now who are you giving that? Donkey too? You know what's crazy? Man? This

is bad. I don't even know how to tease it other than to say, join me four after the hour. Okay, that's going to his story. No fall plagues get gonna tease is a little bit. You want me to tease you a little bit? You want a little foreplay for me? Give us a little something. Just don't you want a little foreplay for me? I'm just saying you should give us a little foreplay lick the nipple or something like that on flowers. So what you know what? You know what? Wow?

Know what I care with you? Today? Man? All right? Don't get the day's up next man, it's the breakfast club. Good morning MANE say the gang. Don't get the shape man you are donkey today does not discriminate I might not have the song of today, but I got to don't get that. So if you ever feel I need to be a donkey man, give me with the breakfast club bitches. He just don't kive today. Today, wow ed Sharon,

don't get today. For Thursday, September fifth goes to a twenty seven year old California man named Robert Anthony Cameo. I think I'm pronouncing his last name right. I really don't know what's going on in the world anymore. You know, when I was a jit. That's a kid for you folks from not from the south one, I was a jit. My grandmother to say that she has never seen a time like this before, and that was in the nineties.

That was twenty nineteen, and my grandma's been dead since two thousand and six, thirteen years later, I can repeat her awards with confidence. I have never seen a time like this before. People is out of their goddamn mind. We are in a world where we are surrounded about a three hundred and sixty degree circumference of crazy. Every day, every single one of us is just trying to avoid crazy.

You know, that's it. If you cant making home every day having avoided any crazy, then you have probably lived to see you another day. Sadly, that crazy is often

too close to us. Could be a brother, a sister, parents, close friends, the cameraman at revote, and in the case of a man the Custer, a boyfriend she According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, a man to Custer has been missing since late July, and a video surfaced online around the time a man had disappeared, and according to the LA County Sheriff's Department, it showed a man, this boyfriend, Robert rapping. What was Robert rapping about it?

Let's go to CBS too, Angels for the report. Police. But we're inside this bar, that King Eddie Bar, and this is where Camu was standing when he did this rap version. And I guess the big question is was it a confession? In my own words, it was killed them and bury her in the dirt. Michael Morrison, he was stunned by what it was listening to Kerrie Yoki Knight at King Eddie Saloon just off skid Row, Morrise. This is videotape of the man mixing with the crowd

at the bar after he finished rapping. A song about how he had quote killed his girlfriend and buried her in the dirt. He makes it something about the police and that he needed to close his mouth now, and he walked off. A few hours later, he said he saw that same man on television being led away in handcuffs. Detectives say they're aware of the rap song video, but I yet to get a copy. But they say that Robert Camu is definitely their suspect in the disappearance of

his longtime girlfriend Amanda Custer. Welcome to the rest of our lives people. I mean, this has been our lives for a long time now, but things that k nevits changing. If you grew up in the nineties like God did, and you know, the world that we live in has been altered forever. See, this is the era we live in with people kill people and then go rap about it during karaoke nights. Okay, now I know what you might be thinking. Eminem made a living off rapping about

killing and burying his girlfriend. Somewhere look no further than ninety seven Bonnie and Clyde for starters. But the difference between Eminem and this guy is Eminem never actually killed him. He just rapped about it. Okay, he just rapped a boy wanting to kill her. If I have to explain the difference to you, then you're probably one of those crazy people I'm trying to avoid. Now, I know what else you're thinking. What if this guy was at karaoke

night rapping an Eminem song. Maybe this is all some

big misunderstanding. Yeah, it might make sense if a man the custom wasn't the last scene when police responded to a possible domestic dispute at Robert's home, and if Robert didn't already face the domestic violence charges because he was accused of battering his girlfriend, scrangling her, and threatening her with a taser, and when the victor him tried to get help at a house nearby, Robert allegedly chased her into the house and then beat up an elderly man

who was trying to intervene. I wish that old elderly man would have had a shotgun, and I wish that old man would have put a hole through Robert the size of a gay porn star's butt hole. All Right, Witnesses actually told police they say Robert they saw Robert putting Custer's lifeless body in the back of a great Toyota Prius and then driving away. Not to mention, officials found evidence he said it was gay, so what not to mention officials found evidence to come up with bedroom

every covered blood from the scene. Okay, police also found blood in a digging tool in the cargo area of the car. So yeah, about a voiding this crazy thing. I repeat every single day of our lives. All we are trying to do is avoid crazy, but sadly sometimes crazy finds us. Please, let might give Robert Canute the biggest he hall he ha he ha he stupid, Like everybody didn't know that was a very inappropriate time to laugh.

But y'all did not see Envy's face when I said, I wish that old man would have had a shotgun, and I wish that old man would have put a hole through Robert the side of a gay port stars butth hole. The way everybody in this room looked at each other, it was so stupid. You could describe a whole bigger than you know another way to describe. I'm not gonna lie in my brain actually said incredible hawks butt hole. But I don't know if people watch Marvel like me, how do you know what there? Because then

thor the Dark World I believe it was. They showed the incredible howks bear. But okay, but you understand what I meant when I say it gave point stars, butt hole, shotgun blast. Wow, I played too much. I'm not playing with man. I'm not taking my toys. I'm leaving the toy go home. All right, thank you for that dunkey today? Did he did you do the heat hot? Hey? You did he? All right? Got me frazzled over here. When we come back, Rizza, Erica Alexander, and Ashton Sanders will

be joining us. Absolutely. The Woutang series came out yesterday, so we'll kick it with them about the series. I've seen the first episode, Joe, so we'll talk to him when we come back. I don't move. It's to Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. Morning. Everybody is DJ end Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. We have some special guests in the building. Yes, indeed,

we have the cast of the Woutang Hulu series. We have Rizza, we have Erica Alexander, and we have Ashton sand Is. Welcome, Good morning, Good morning, thank you. Guy had to be here. I guess we start with Riza, like, how did it feel recreating your own story? Wow? Um, you know it felt Its good to you know, to continue to the U legacy in them in this medium, you know what I mean? Um, so this just feels good.

Now you involved for everything from casting to the whole shebank. Yeah, I'm um, I'm I'm what they call a show runner. So me and my partner Alex see the two showrunners and that in tels, hiring directors and hiring you know, casting, it every every I actually was reading ninety nine page budgets Mega sure, you know, I mean the money was going. We had to go too. So there's a very very unique, very unique job. Is a true Erica that you had to be vetted by Rizza in all ten of his sibilis.

You know what, That's what I was told. I mean, you know, listen, I played the mother Mohamma Rizza Bobby Diggs, I call him Bobby, and she was a very prodigious woman. She had eleven children. There's four represented in this series, and Zolie Griggs and Elijah Martinez in Justice. There's Aston

Sanders Injustice. But I heard that I had to pass the test, the smell test of eleven true children, which actually is actually test a beautiful thing if they saw something in me that they recognize or something in their mother. Then I thought, because I thought, you know that to heavy thing, what do I think? And Rizzard came to me and she said, you know, Erica, she was the light. And I thought, wow, that's a great compliment. So all I'll do is just beat me, yeah, and hope that

she shines too. And I did a little thing to I said, listen, your children want to see you. It's gone through great links to bring you here. Just just come. Oh my two sisters, who if if if the chore was the wrong person, dinner and Thanksgiving will never be the same. But they they actually really really loved Erica and really helped me absorb it as well, you know, you know what I mean. So anyway, and you pick asking to play you that? How how was that? How

was that difficult? How'd you find him? Yeah? You know this gentleman, my head is a very talented young man, you know what I mean? And um, I was on a plane watching Equalizer two, but I saw it in the movie theaters first, right, but now you know it's be getting close to casting and and and when the character he played, you know, he was drawing, and he was having that confrontation between is he gonna be a

drug deal? Be an artist? In his eyes? You know, I was like, wow, I remember having those odds, you know what I mean. And Aston came in and sat down with us. I don't know if we even talked about who he was gonna be. I don't know if you know, I was examining him, like, oh man, we got a brief conversation about the show and all of that. But and then um, you know he's just you know, his eyes in the spirit of what of what the

young Bobby was going through? You know what I mean that the man Aston, did you listen to a lot of Woutaine growing up? Are I'm not going like, uh I knew of Woutaine growing up, you know, like you know, if their heads like cream, you know, like uh, you know, like woutine claning on with But outside of that, you know, this Row definitely uh demanded that you understood the world in which like they really was in you know, as individuals and as a group and so uh, you know,

becoming riser was something strategic. Why is that not a deal breaker for you? Like young artists not knowing who who tange is shooting people? Why is it not? Well, I've been blessed with the opportunity to act and direct the right right, so, and so I couldn't approach it with an artistic mind and not a personal thank you know what I mean. So it's like, you know, you know, you look for the actor who can embody the character, you know, so you don't have to know anything about me.

It's just like, you know, not depend myself on the spot. But I wasn't no cop, but I played a cop, an American gangster, you know what. And so and I never as a kid with dream that I'm going to play a cop because that's the opposite of what I wanted to be. But when you kind of, you know, started zorbing characters and personalities, you know, that becomes an art in the craft. And and I didn't I didn't

think twice about where he was from. I was just like, can this kid absorb this character at the age he's going to be and could he deliver this spirit as Bobby? Right? And when you a chance to watch the show, and I hope everybody tune in. I think the most beautiful thing about it is that the art of where this you know, these episodes has taken us is is uh. It's perfect for for for asking and all reality, you know what I mean, because because you know he's questioning

the things around him. You know what I mean. And if you already know the answers, you may have a difficulty trying to come with the questions. You know what I mean, And I think not no money answers you know, help you know the discovery as well. Along the path Erica, you came up in the era of Utang. What did you know of Utange? What feeling did they give you? I knew um Dollar Dollarville, y'all mean an invested man

and new Rizza. The thing is that when you're living like you guys are right now, sometimes you miss things that are going on around you because you're also in the business as well, so you can feel like you're part of it. But then you realize, no, I missed it because I wasn't experiencing it the same way. So if you're on a show, whether it's The Cosby Shore or Living Single, that type of thing, it's taking all of your energy and creative time, and you're sort of

catching things after the fact. So I found that coming into this arena, I learned more about the era I'm supposed to be from than when I was there, which is kind of bizarre because it felt a little alien to me. But then I realized, no, I was there, but I just didn't experience the same way that keep kids on the street because I was I had a job and no thing about it though, is which I love about it. It was there was no social media

back then, no no internet service like that. Back then, we didn't have access to that, very little access to cell phones. So when you see it, I lived it, but I didn't live that part of it. So like when I'm watching it, I'm sitting in and I thought ray Quon and ghost Face with breast friends from the Star. That's how I looked at them. But then when you watch and you'd be like they really almost killed each other,

I'm like, that's crazy. How did you I didn't see the rest of the other second second episode, how did you get them cool? Well? And this and this is really yeah, well in all reality, right, it's like, you know Stapleton and Park Hill just had this. I mean, the beef was was was from God's older than me and and and yet you know Staton Alan is still uh isolated island. One thing that stat Niland did, though, I would say, is that when we left Staten Island, right and we go to Brooklyn or we go to

Sensations in Jersey, we did fight together. If you go to the square and you got some Staton Allens in there, even though we're from all different hoods, we always fought together regardless. But then back on the rock, it's like, yeah, it's all any enemies, you know what I mean. So, but more importantly, you know, there was a common denominator, you know what I mean between me and the wou brothers and that common denominator. Um, it's something that helped

meilt that energy, you know what I mean. Um. And you know, you know, just you know, not to give spoilers, but as you go through the show, you'll see some of that common denominator evolved and answer some of the questions like, you know, because that's one of the challenges that you know that Aston has to face his Bobby.

You know, my favorite, you know, one of my favorite scenes is in the episode two, which comes up next when the uh when he's confronted by um show the show's not read Quan yet, right, and he's and he's just like, yo, Bobby, where's my gun son? Like yo, you let that stapiiteni eat my food like you know, And and and that kind of energy of of of a friendship and then being pulled between you know, what's going on with your friends and what's going on with

your brother or what's going on in the streets. That dynamic, I mean, that dynamic was strong then, but even that dynamic finds itself and the equation these days, yeah, because it could be business or personal. Yeah, and you never know, like you know sometimes you know, you know how that you may come with the one thing about you know about coming from the hood or coming from I may have a guy with me that's tight with me, but he ain't tight with you, you know what I mean.

Now you see him, it's like, yo, but man, you tight. You know I'm saying I might not even know that y'all signed two years ago up my last pocket, you know what I mean? So all that kind of energy exists, all right, Well, we got more with the Rizza Erica Alexander and Ashton Sanders. Where we come back? I mean, Riz sayes, let's do a Woo Tang mix. It's the Breakfast Club Go Morning. That was a Woo Tang mini mix. Morning.

Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee. Charlemagne, the guy we are the Breakfast Club was still kicking it with Rizza, Erica, Alexander, and Ashton Sanders. The Woo Tang series is out now, Charlomagne. But it's a question for you and Erica. Did y'all take y'all era for granted? Because the nineties was so rich? You know, I'm here with talent. Did y'all take it for granted when you live in it? Well? No, I mean, I'll just say to me, the nineties were all also

full of crack, full of you know, drug violence. I mean people talk about New York. I didn't go I mean I went out to the theater, would go to a Bam, do the play, get back on the subway and go back home. I didn't hang out like people hung out. People were getting shot. I remember those times as being really difficult, and so I don't have the nostalgia like that. The music brings back like maybe what happened,

and the fact that people were so creative. But if you really want to talk about it, it was also a very turbulent time and frankly I've survived. I mean, it was like being in a war zone. It was a lot of it was awful. Yeah, That's why I never understood the Coffee Show because that was like gentrified Brooklyn in the nineties. It was like where was the crime? But the cons Show made us look up to something. Though,

especially here in New York. Was like you said, we walked outside, You've seen the crack, the little crack things all over the floor, your parents, you know, trying to sweep and saying don't touch him. And you've seen the needles. So when you looked at the Cosby Show, it was like wow. But it was two different Brooklyn. You're Biggie rapping about one Brooklyn and Cobby showing you something else.

But there was actually but you go down to Park Slowed back in those days, or you go back to some of the there there was streets in Brooklyn like Spike Lee's Block. You know what I mean that people, you know, my solaces living there, people that had it, you know, because I remember I met a check over there. I went to unighble, I say, yo, what the hell Tim blocks away? It was I almost got robbed, you know what I mean, your crib I could come out

here first, kicks on. You know, she looked healthy like her parents already had good food. So so so that's all. So the coffee show, like he said, was it was a good example for us, you know, for us, you know, and the woo nah we was. We was in the middle of the rot and at the end of the day at some points that we was the problem, you know what I mean. So but yeah, but they answer your question. I felt like I maybe I missed a lot of it just by being, you know, swimming in

the water. Then I didn't see what was swimming beside me. Now, what's the relationship with war? I know it was rocky at times, but it seems like this could have got everybody together because with so many different stories and reliving the nineties and reliving when y'all were young on that ground, what's the relationship now with everybody? I mean, the relationship is it's peace, you know, we know, you know, it's a brotherhood. So it's always you know, like you said,

the up and down. Um, I think more so than ever though. I think, you know, at this such a mature age now everybody is just letting everybody live there, live there, Lane, you know what I mean. So I'm a I'm I've been making I'm in Hollywood for about thirteen years now. I mean, I write movies, yo, direct movies. That's what I do. It's like that's my craft and so and so that's my job to tell that part

of the story, you know what I mean. Where where other brothers could be into, you know, whether they're making songs or still. You know, you did this this whole science show. But he loves science and mathematics, and he goes to the schools and he goes to colleges and do speeches. And you go up there and you see j'ther telling us about they're trying to turn light into liquid, right, you're seeing this liquid science. Think he does yo yo yo.

It's deep. It's like this twelve episode on Science hosted about these on that flick and my son watched it and he was picking up wisdom because because he could vote with it. How do you how do you feel really when you see people who may not understand the legacy behind the wool logo, just wearing it for style. I think I think that's good, a good thing. I think it's a good thing. I think, Um, you know

it's a compliment in all reality. Um now you know, if you don't know what it means, you know, learn about it. And now that there's now there's material you can learn from. Whether you know you want to listen to the music. The music ain't your flavor. You know, the Mics and Men documentary gives you a great painting. And if that's ain't your flavor, now you can turn to Hulu and uh get Wouchang in American soccer? All right now, but can you guys name all the members

of Wouchang go for you? Can y'all name him? Now? This un god said there's another master master, master killer, and come on, you got him? Damn who? I don't know? He's question though, because growing up Capadana wasn't one of the original nine. He was he wasn't. That's that's kind of got to start on that. Yeah, okay, but you

know how you tell him how you remember it? Because we remember you would ask that man if you if the into the method, man should help you at old stops, do right fast from Showman, there is just an old, dirty bastard inspect that you got ghost space Killer, and that's the old way. You just always remember it. What's something y'all learned about the Woutang that was my black card? This the last question? What's something y'all learned about Woutang

after accepting this role? Man? Uh, I can do. I just have so much fair respect for these you know, Like I'll listen to people like m F. Doom you know, were some of my favorite rappers and definitely influenced by Yeah exactly, you know, and like I'm listening to people like him and having no idea like the influence that he's had from like from somebody like Rizzo, you know, who's changed like production, music, production in like so many ways.

I think that's said. I think that also we also learned that all the verbal rhetoric was masking very vulnerable young men who were struggling and fighting for their lives.

And I think that you can see that overall in just an American society that here we are talking about, you know, these street poets again there they get to be these superheroes and then you go look at their lives, and they are in a diaspora, and they are not supported, and they're homeless, and they're fighting each other, and yet for what over what? You know? And then suddenly something turns on their mind and says, the most powerful thing

they had was their imagination. You say that all the time. And then when they started to put it to use, then they got Then they tapped into something much more powerful. And that's actually a relief because sometimes you can look at things like why are these people getting up on the world, and it seemed to be doing all this stuff and well, ultimately the thing that there was most power to them and really and if their fingertips was the fact that they could recreate themselves. And I'm glad

I got a chance to see who they were. Yeah, that's dope. Well, appreciate you guys for joining us. Man, thank you forward to seeing the whole series. I love the first one I've seen. Well, thank you, guys. Ashton Saan is a miss Erica Alexander. It's the Breakfast Clogald Morning, the Breakfast Club. Good morning, Hi, Hello, good morning. Are you talking to everybody? You too? Morning? Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela yee, Charlemagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club.

Good morning to you, top of the morning to you. Let's get to the room as le's talk Kevin Hart. It's just breakfast Club now. Kevin Hard ha suffered three spinal fractures and it's still an intense pain. They said the surgery was a success and he should be back to normal in a couple of months. Ken Hart, God bless that brother sitting up later, It's laid up somewhere trying to recover from surgery. Meanwhile, on social media, they

accusing this man and being homophobic. Okay, because of the episode of the shop we did on HBO, and it's just the irony. I keep saying this, but the irony of Kevin Hart being called homophobic when he's laying around with a broke back is just kind of crazy. M Now the rock said, Uh, with my son Kevin Hart goes down with an injury, his big daddy steps in. I don't like that I did leave my honeymoon early

and now me and Kelly are new best friends. I don't like that he's supposed to be hosting the Kelly Clarkson Show. I feel like the Rockets side shaming with that. Okay, and as a fellow, you know a little man five nine, a short guy, one hundred and seventy five eighty pound guy, my son. I don't like this guy that's huge calling me his son, especially when I got kids and got my own sons. I mean, I don't personally would care. Does I have daughters, But for him to say that,

it's just I don't like that. Are we calling me your son just because you bigger than me? Grown ass man? It's like you were grown ass man? Okay, little man. Now boxer Adrian Browner, he's sued for five hundred and seventy three thousand dollars by New York jeweler. Now they're saying that he borrowed some jewelry and then came back and borrowed some all jewelry and never brought it back. He allegedly owes five hundred and seventy three thousand dollars

of Laddie's diamonds. Okay, I don't care. Okay, I really didn't even care about that one. Marcellous Wild Marcellous Wildly says Colin Kaepernick's protest was wrong. If I had to vote, Kaepernick did right or did wrong. I would vote wrong because I'm into resources and I'm into monetize it. He's done tremendous two million that I know of, and probably millions more. But then I watched J. J. Watt, different calls, different reason, but in alliance, guess what, he raised forty

one point six million on record. But no, no, no, no doing. Don't do me like that. Don't do me like I'm not going black and white. I'm just going. When he had everyone either loving him or loving to hate him, you got him, you Floyd Mayweather, you money way Weather. That's what. That's why he's the highest paid athlete, because he got he's a loving him or loving to hate him, polarizing. Kaepernick had that, and he's winning every award and he's on everything, and then he gets silent.

I mean, yes, I do want Colin Kaepernick to speak more, because whether he wants to be or not, he's a leader and he hasn't really spoke that much. Yeah, and leaders lead by action are through speaking. You know, his initial action showed that he wanted to raise awayness, the police brutality, and you know, social injustice, but now it seems like he just wants to play football, which is kind of confusing because he also seems to be anti NFL because he gets upset with anyone who wants to

work with the NFL. So I feel like Colin. I feel like Colin should be in the league, and I feel like he should be a part of all these social justice initiatives that the NFL is implementing, and he should be speaking. Well, he's still working out. He worked out with Odell yesterday. They did Ransom Rountes and things

like that. That's just wild to me, though. It's just wild that you get upset for people, get upset up people for watching the NFL, You get upset at people for working with the NFL, but you want to be a quarterback in the NFL. And that's not confusing to anyone. Yeah it is. That's not especially since we haven't heard him talk about it. I don't That's just that's just a little weird to me. I don't get it. All right, Well, that is your rumor report. All right, people's choice, Mix

us up next, revote, We'll see you tomorrow. Everybody else, hit us up, get your requested. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlemagne the guy. We are the breakfast club. Now let me shout out to two Chains offset push a t all their cars have been delivered. So shout everybody to car show is this Saturday. It's gonna be amazing. Hopefully get your tickets. We're gonna have a lot of fun this Saturday. Get your tickets now. Then we got to shout the cast of the Wu Tang series that stopped through today. That's right, Wou Tang is on Hulu right now. Every Wednesday they have in

new episodes. We had the Rizzle up here. We had the Queen Erica Alexander. I absolutely love Eric Alexander. So she's been up here a couple of times. She'd been up here a few times. She's al welcome anytime. What's the brother named the Young Brother Austin Sanders, Aston Aston Sander, Shamik Moore he plays the rizzon and Shamik More plays Raycorn the chef. Correct. Yes, people feel like she make

More needs a humbling. I don't have a problem with his confidence, but one thing about life, it will humble you. They will, right, So he's in for a few more rude awakenings. But you know it's it's good to have that confidence. Absolutely. Yeah. All right, when we come back, we got your positive and a listen. Also, I'm gonna be in Brooklyn to night. Man, I'm house at Powerhouse Arena, twenty eight Adams Street at seven pm with doctor Jessica Clements.

Yeah, I just want to give some people some positive affirmations that they can take with them on this fine Thursday. I just want you to know that you are allowed to take

up space. Your past is not a reflection in your future. You are smart enough to make your own decisions, and you are in control of how you react to us. The most importantly, tell yourself that I choose peace. Presley pu
