Nice little balance, yeah, ballance, No, we got a little bit of everything for you people. Yeah,
let's get the show cracking front paid news. What we're talking about you, Well, let's talk about Lacuam McDonald's death and how sixteen police officers have participated in this whole very elaborate cover up. And so now they've done this investigation and the report is out five years later. All right, we'll get to that next. Keeping locked this to Breakfast Club, Go Morning. I think everybody's DJ mvy Angela yee, Charlemagne the God. We are the breakfast Club. Let's get in
some front page news. Start with Thursday night football. That's an interesting thing you could do. Start with Thursday night football. There's no football last oh yeah, it was definitely football on. Start with Thursday night football. It's people like they who may not have walked it. Man fell asleep early. They don't know what happened between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants. I really don't know what to school, I went to sleep in. The game was fourteen fourteen.
It was tied in the second quarter, so I don't know. To me, the game is tired. I don't know what happened after that. Well, you didn't miss anything because your team didn't score anymore after that the final score was thirty five to fourteen New England Patriots and now six and old the Giants, they have a losing record. Doesn't even matter what the record is. I didn't see it. I would like I said, ye yeah, I was yeah yeah. The baby says yeah yeah yeah yeah. What else we
got ye? Hello, ye yes. Well let's talk about Laquam McDonald, seventeen year old Laquam McDonald who was shot and killed by a police officer in twenty fourteen. Now they have released these investigative reports, these documents, and they're saying now that according to these reports, the officer Jason Van Dyke, former police officer now who fired the shots. And you know, he was sentenced to six years and nine months in prison in January after his conviction of second degree murder
and sixteen counts of aggravated battery with the firearm. They said there was a very elaborate cover up. So what they are saying is they were destroyed, handwritten notes allegedly from witness interviews, and a lot of lying going on by these police officers to cover up the shooting of Lakam Donald, who they said was walking away and he had a knife, but he was walking away, not even facing the officer when he fired shots and killed him. And they said that McDonald did not actually turn around
until his body turned after he was shot. Well, when you killed people in cold blood to get away with it, you got to cover it up, So it makes sense. They said that the former officer Van Dyke made multiple statements that were contradicted by dash cam video. And they also said that the officers failed to ensure that audio systems and dashcams were working. So what happened? He gets
more time now or what. But I'm just hoping that this means that the other officers who lied and tried to cover up or also be held accountable as well. All right, now, let's talk about the shooting that happened. The shooting suspects and Alpasso Patrick Crusius, he was and died at last month for capital murder. He's facing the death penalty if convicted, and that was for deliberately targeting Mexicans in a shooting spree that killed twenty two people
at an Alpasso walmart. It was the worst attack on the teams in recent US history. He has pleaded yesterday he pleaded not and that was his first court appearance after he was indicted for a capital murder. He will, like I said, face the death penalty. Twenty two people killed and another twenty six people were wounded during that shooting. All right now, Bernie Sanders says that he is not going to slow down with his campaign. He said he
misspoke here he is talking to NBC News. It fell from a public perspective that there was an absence of transparence. You know, I don't accept that. No, I think that's a media thing. What should people think? People should think that I had a procedure with hundreds of thousands of people a year a half. People should think that, according to the locktos someone the way to a full recovery. So you will go to the debate, Oh yeah, absolutely,
three hours standing? Did your cardiologists say, no, not an issue. I think Bernie Sanders is dope. I think his idea isn't necessary. I think he's necessary in these campaigns to disruption, shake and shake things up. But I don't want him out here killing himself cors could being president. I just I just I just don't like that. I don't like him pushing himself, you know, get that page foremost. Yeah, man, I get it, you know, but damn yo, like I just I don't know. I think you should cool out
me personally. But what do I know. I'm not on this campaign. I don't run this campaign. All right, Well that is your front page news, all right, get it off your chest? Eight undrink five eight five one oh five one. If you're upset, you need to vend hit us up right now. Maybe you had a horrible night, maybe your favorite football team laws, or maybe you feel blast. You know, we asked up for our money back. He said no, you know the next next Sunday and feeding the homeless, you know. So it put me in a situation because I'm I I need a ride to get around to to pick up donations some people in Houston so I can feed the homeless. I do this every other month. I came
to find out I'm spending on my collet. A couple of days ago, I went online. This guys he's an unline pedifier. Um, he harass the little girls online. I'm pretty sure that it's part of his gag order. You shouldn't be online on Facebook, you know. It's it's sad because I said my last, man, I turned on many jobs because of the work I'm doing with it within Houston, you know. And it hurts because this guy told my last money that I have and I'm struggling in life

He's laughing in my face like he's trying to taught me sucker and suckers, trying to you know, the hurt him, you know. So we locked up. So what do we do? What do we do to raise uh awareness to what this guy doing online? Well, I'm going to share his profile on my page. Okay, I've got to be careful to because I can't really say his name. What he did. It
could hurt me in the long ones. You're not take him the court all I could do is take him the court because he rolled them out was back in the car. He sold me a flooded car and a car locks up on the freeway when he's driving home. You know, I'm gonna trying to raise a little money to get the car fixture. It was a two thousand and eight UM tract to three hundred. I got it for twenty two hundred dollars and just the fixtures to be thirty hundred dollars. Anyone could help if he's a
blessed him. UM cash apps is John eight seventy five. It's using us off homicide. You can look me up on Facebook. Everything I do is document on Facebook. So, so last night, you know, the new Jordan Trappis Scott joints drop on the Trappis Scott website and I stayed up all night trying to get him and then let them slipping out,
I fell asleep. Oh no, damn well, so you didn't get him. Nah, I didn't even get a chance to get him. So you know I'm on my way to work, right now with no sleep. Sorry for you, bro. Let me ask my connect ange Lee, did you get mine for me? I got you, I got and they definitely asked me. Yeah, he definitely asked me yesterday to get them for him. I got mine. Son. What you say you ain't got him? I like that though. I like that. Don't be happy for your brother like I ain't get him,
but like least somebody got him. Hello, who's this? This is Olivia? Olivia, get it off your chest? All right? So what I want to say, basically, you know how everybody in the world is bay always always watching everybody else in social media and always wanting to say something about somebody else's life, but I would actually know what's
really going on, all right. So I basically just feel like everybody need to stop worrying about other people's lives because just because somebody post something on social media does not necessarily mean that that's their actual lights. So what's
going what's going on specifically with you? All right? So yesterday I got a text message in my phone from a random number that I don't have, and come to find out it was a text as go figure right person screenshot pictures off of my social media, which my social media is public, right, so these pictures everybody can see them, so you see shot on them. Really doesn't save me because I clearly posted them so the world could see them. These pictures are over photo shoot I
did last year. It's a little, a little sexy photo shoot. Okay, I do have clothes on. I do have clothes on. I'm a little covered. But the person want to text me, So I'm a text I talking about, Oh, I'm gonna take your pictures. I'm gonna post them up and I'm gonna put the number and I'm gonna put that TREVISU for thirsty niggas. This is a thirst bucket. I'm like, yo. First, So if my life's being calm, poo and collected for
the past year, I don't know who this is. It's got to be one of my exits who's still salty that I don't want to be with them, or somebody in my life that I no longer deal with because I got them all off because you're looking all good and they not out and you know, I'm not gonna lie. I lost a lot of weight. I was almost four hundred pounds. I'm now one hundred and twenty. Wow, but four hundred pounds No, not four, she said too. I can't believe you with the god. Why are you exaggerating?
Don't you exaggerated? She said? Four? Hun No, no, I thought you just said why are you graduated? Why are you graduated? I was thinking the same thing. Go ahead, mama, you too? Did you guys have your quotee? Yes? Did you fully wake up? Good morning? I do green tea, I do ginger ginger honey crystal tea in the morning, but continue to do my pinaform the mango juice. Go ahead, that's the less yes it is, Oh, go ahead, keep going.
You just feel like, you know people watching my social media and it's like, listen, if you're somebody that I no longer deal with, it's for legitimate reasons. You understand. I'm a long way in the past year. I'm focused on posterity. I'm working on my business. Shout out to my pain Savory Blossoms on Instagram, follow me our cater all events. Can I ask you a question, why are you complaining about stunting on your haters? It sounds to me like you live in life well and you successful
and you look good. Let them see you flourish. No, I'm not really complaining, it's more or less I want. I just feel like everybody needs to stop focus on everybody else and focus on yourself, focus on your inner growth, your prosperity, and you will be where that person is at. I agree with that, and she don't. And she don't want to get her as she don't want somebody to put her number up for her picture. And that's why are you testing me from a text app? Like it's
two thousand nineteen. We've grown asking those why is you hiding? Like, stop hiding, confront me head on if you've got something to save. Okay, I agree with that. I also feel you when you say about you know, stop worrying about what everybody else is doing. But if that was the case, we'd all be following zero people. We following people. You have a good week, you don't let them upset you. Mamma, you have a great week and don't let them upset

Mamma, you two guys, thank you so much, blessing some posterity for all of you
to get it off your chest. Eight hundred five eighty five one o five one. If you need to vent, you can hear us something that you've got rumors on the way. Yes, now, let's talk about Mindy Klin. You know, she's one of my favorite shows ever. She was on the Office when that show was still running, and she has some things to say about the Academy and her almost not being nominated, and we'll tell you what she said happened. All right, we'll get into that next. Keep
it Lottie to Breakfast Club. Good morning the Breakfast Club. Good morning, everybody is DJ MVY, Angela Ye, Charlemagne the guy we are to Breakfast Club. Good morning Logan. I know Logan's on his way to school right now. He has a huge football game this weekend. So good luck to Logan. All right, good luck Logi. All right. Now let's get to the rumors. Let's talk Tyler Perry. She's filling the team. This is the rumor report with Angela
Yee on the Breakfast Club. Well, of course, if we all remember the young lady Raquel Bailey who posted a billboard he put she put up a billboard and she was trying to get Tyler Perry's attention to be the next leading lady in one of his productions. After seeing that billboard back in June, Tyler Perry want to went on Instagram and said, this is not the way to get my attention. Please don't do this, save your money.
But she did end up getting a role. Well, Tyler Perry was on Jimmy Kimme Alive in the past week and here's what he said happened. I was really creeped out about it, said, listen to audition. I didn't even know it was her because I I had separated too. In her mind she got the job. And then after she gets the job, they tell me, oh, that's the girl from the billboard. I go, why didn't you about to tell me? But great, it's good that she's good. Because you put up a billboard and you suck. It's
not gonna work anyway. Yeah, man, what he said is absolutely correct. A billboard will not get you a job. Talent will. We live in this era where people want to court attention but they don't want to do the work. Still got to do the work. At least it had a happy ending for her, all right. Now, Mindy Kaling and you know her from the Office And I was just watching a movie on the plane the other day. It was like a late night talk show that she
ended up on. But anyway, I love Mindi Kley. She had her own show as well, and about ten years ago she said she almost missed out on being nominated for an Emmy for her work on the Office. Now, she said, the Academy that runs the award show try to cut her from the list of the show's producers. You know, she was a writer and producer on the show, and she was also the only woman of color among the producers listed in Emmy contention. They told her there
were too many producers listed. When the show was nominated for an Outstanding Comedy Series category, she said, they made me, not any of the other producers, fell out a whole form and write an essay about all my contributions as a writer and a producer. She said, I had to get letters from all the other male, white producers saying
that I had contributed when my actual record stood for itself. Now, a spokesperson for the Academy said, no one person was singled out, and she responded, respectfully, the Academy statement doesn't make any sense. I was singled out. There were other office writer, performer, producers who were not cut from the list, just me, the most junior person and woman of color, easiest to dismiss, just saying so she explained all of that. So shout out to Mindy Kayling. Now let's talk about
former NFL star De'angelo Williams. He's done a great thing. He's making donations and that's to honor his mom, who died a breast cancer. So he launched the DeAngelo Williams Foundation back in two thousand and six, and just recently he is funding free mammograms for women and he wants to make sure that everybody goes out and gets a mammogram. He hosted a fifty three strong dathlon that was a fundraising event name for the age that his mother was
when she died. And so you know, shout out to Angela Williams for using that to actually help other people. A right dropping a clues bonx with d's Angela Williams. I love any type of philanthropy for a good cause. All right, ERL Spence. He is awake and responding. We told you yesterday that he was in a terrible car crash his Ferrari and he did somehow get out of there without any broken bones. They said, he is awake and he is responding, and he's listed in stable condition.
They said he does have some facial lacerations, but he's expected to make a full recovery. He is arresting with his family by his side. They do have surveillance cameras that captured the videos he saw the Yes, Ferrari is flipping several times. The video was obtained by CBS eleven in Dallas and it happened at two forty six am. To see him being ejected from the car. That is crazy. Yeah, I talk to some of these people yesterday. Man. They
said no brain damage, no internal bleeding. He has some broken teeth, but no bones were broken and they're hoping that that is that is accurate. But yes, man, I'm happy for Earl Spence because I hated to see something bad that happened to Earl Spence in like his career be derailed because of a car accident, because he is a beast in the ring. All right, Now, let's talk about Takashi six nine. According to reports, he's gotten a
multimillion dollar record deal while he's in jail. They said his deal is worth more than ten million dollars and that's with his former label ten K Projects. Ten Ka Projects put out his Day sixty nine mixtape, and they said once he gets out of jail, he'll get the money in return for putting out two albums. He going to do an English one and a Spanish album. I think that is fiction. Cap. I don't believe it now.
I don't think his CAP that's the same label let's signed it beforehand, also has trippy Red that's the one that gave him all that money, actually signed him. Let me tell you what I think it's cap I think the ten million dollar price tag is cap. Well, they didn't give him the deal is value, so that's a whole different thing. Good. I'm glad you said that. Gazola headline yesterday was Takashi six nine signs ten million dollars
record deal. And that's that's what I saw. No. Yeah, now when you him toring and all that other stuff, it's not he's not getting ten million done yet. When people say when saying deealist where ten million dollars, that that means they'll be spending a budget on marketing, a budget on production, all of that. So that makes a deal worth ten million. Doesn't mean they give you a check for ten million dollars. Well, I'm glad radio don't work like that, all right, your deal is worth this month?
Oh no, no, no, no, here's no it's right, all right, I'm angela yee And that is your rumor reports. All right, Well, how do y'all feel about it? Seems like it almost seems like the reward him for snitching that kind of what it is. I don't think they're rewarding them for snitching. I mean, I don't think that I would. I wouldn't even make that kind of investment if I was reckoning
label until I saw what his sentiencen looked like. You know, if he gets sentenced and he's coming home, yeah, I may do a deal like that, but I'm not doing that dealing until I know what he's what he's actually getting. At least they know unless they know something we don't know. I don't know, and you know, listen, just because the deal is value at ten million, they might not even
end up spending it. They could say, Okay, there's a little advance we give you, didn't work out, drop you, and now you get nothing, like you never know how that deal is structured. I'm glad you said that, Angela, because I just hate when I see people like yo, see he got ten million dollars like people getting paid. No. No, no, he did not get ten million dollars. But it could. But it's worth up to ten million. What that means nothing. That means if everything goes well and he sells multi
platinum and then he could potentially have a deal. That's what that means. That means a lot of things. Your ducks have to really be lined up and everything has to happen. Let's be clear with Takashi six nine, I'm sure there are a bunch of labels reaching out to him to try to do this deal. So a lot of that money he's gonna get, No, I think that that's how much the label's gonna spending. That's how much
he's gonna end up on a million dollars. All right, when we come back from page news, what being well getting ready for these cars that are going to be flying will tell you what two companies came together to bring you flying cars. All right, we'll get into that next. Keeping lockedics to Breakfast Club, Good morning, Breakfast Club, Your mornings will never be the same. It's up, Y'ALLARSDJ MVY here to tell you about my new favorite app earning.

He'd be over here with this guy all the time that looks just like you.
Shout to my friend. My brother that was my brother's apart has to go visit them. And I guess they thought we were a gay couple. I don't know. They just said they used to hear the moaning him damn mode when she told me they making them like what us getting some front page news man. Last thank the Giants beat the Patriots. Eye. Giants beat the Patriots thirty
five to fourteen. The Patriots was six and old. Salute the Patriots, whom to everybody in New England said, and then what I said again, the Patriots was six and old. He said, the Giants beat the Patriots, didn't you didn't. Well, whatever the Giants might be, they might have beat the meet in the locker room the Patriots. The Patriots absolutely won six and they're six and old right now. The Giants have a losing record. Yall two and four, Yes,
two and four, the Patriots one. Last night, we look good. The first half we were good. I fell asleep. It was fourteen fourteen and then when I woke up like ten minutes later, we was done. All right, what else we got you? Well, let's talk about Boeing and Porsche. They might be well, they are teaming up to develop flying electric cars, right, I know you're excited about that. They're going to explore the premium urban air mobility market and the extension of urban traffic into airspace through a
fully electric vertical takeoff and the landing vehicle. I've been waiting for a flying cars for a long time. Get them in the car show back like they've been showing us flying cars. It's not happening. I've been waiting. First of all, how do you regulate that? Like, how do you regulate that in the sky. It can't happen with all the street lights and poles and all that other stuff. Somebody would die. Yeah, they would have. I mean, the whole structure of the world in society would have to
change in order for us to have flying cars. And I don't think I listen, people probably thought it was impossible when we had regular cars going on the ground and then planes. People probably would like, that's impossible to fly from here to the planes land on runways exactly in the airports, yes, which they had to build air traffic controls and figure out. So a car just gonna land in the street with other people driving it, or they're gonna have to figure out maybe there'll be places
where they can land. Maybe they'll have specific places where cars can land. So you have to go pilot license. Now you gotta eat your pilot lights. Like a lot of things we have to change in order for people to be riding around and flying cars. And I don't think you sound like grumpy your old grandfather's okay, changing and it happens. There's a lot of things that we never thought were happened. People, the computers would never exist. I don't think that the world are going to change
their highway structure like this. This this is all over the world. That's not happening like three ways ago. It starts, it starts somewhere. I just don't think it's gonna be safe. Well, I guess they would. I guess they would keep the freeways in the highways and stuff simply because you would have the option you could either fly or you could
you could drive. Yeah, but either way, you still gotta have some type of air traffic control running in the buildings, running into each other, running into other flow, flying objects like helicopters and things. That lane. It's not like there's a lane where you can stay in the lane, Like, how do you decide where the lane is? If you think you know bird pool pits you win shield. Now
actual bird's gonna be hitting you winshield. When y'all thought flying, he sounds like the music industry who didn't think that streaming was gonna work, or the CDs. Big difference you're reaching right now. It's a big difference you talk about. Well, look Boeing and Porsche. I mean, I think those are two pretty credible companies coming together. So they're not the fourth company to try flying cars. Let's see when it happens, all right now. Bernie Sanders in the meantime saying that
he's not going to slow down his campaign. When he said that he's going to have to take it a little easier, he said, he misspoke, he said a word I should not have said, and media drives me a little bit nuts to make a big deal about it. So he said he's going to get back into the groove of a very vigorous campaign. Listen, here it fell from a public perspective that there was an absence of transparence. You know, I don't accept that. No, I think that's
a media thing. What should people think? People should think that I had a procedure with one hundreds of thousands of people or year a half. People shouldn't think for according to the doctor, someone the way to a full recovery. So you will go to the debate, Oh yeah, absolutely, three hours standing? Did your cardiologists say, no, got an issue? I think Bernie should sit down and focus on his health. He's up in age, he just had a heart attack.
I think his ideas are great. I think he's necessary, but we want him to be here, like we don't want you to die because you're chasing this presidency. It is very stressful. Yeah, health has to come first, and sometimes you know, you gotta just listen to what your body's telling you. All right, Well I'm angela year and that is your front page news. All right, thank you, miss ye. Now when we come back, While Label will be joining us. He got a new album out to
day is called Wild Ass Crazy. He's got the number one song at urban radio on Chill. I think While is in a great place right now. Okay, we're gonna kick it with while label we come back, don't move. It's the breakfast club, Good morning, the breakfast club wanting everybody's DJ Envy and julu Ye Charlomagne the guy. We are the breakfast club. Yes, sir, that while A just walked into the first thing while they said, it's Charlomagne,
you change you hit me back? Probably the only rapper or no, it's like two rappers I talked to on the regular three. That's a nice saying laurn jacket. We talk about how much money you got this morning. That's how Louis Jacket just set up because I wanted my compliment for my which goes to show you I'm ten steps ahead of your mother. Oh yeah, you know they do for me. A lot of that number one single in the country, toss right rappers after this jacket, they
just don't wear it like I did. Okay, brother of all, I want to say congratulations on having the number one mother record. I do. Yes, you know I hate the word urban. Yeah really mean black? And what does rhythmic mean? It doesn't mean white black, but doesn't dance. That's the truth black people that white people enjoy as well. Yes, people that white people like seeing. But don't let you not because because that record gonna goes like this after
this conversation. Congratulations, like it's like my seven number one. I'm okay, I'm gonna tell you why I'm proud of you. Man. I'm proud of you because you did it with no gimmicks. You did it with no mother in beef, you did it with no other hype other than making a good mother record. Yes, are you happy because you look happy? What you mean? I'm happy coming here? You don't look happy? Look because I'll be taught the seven in the morning sometimes.
And he's a daddy, you know, you know, and his daddy, But that's another story. Okay, you ain't old enough to be a daddy. Yeah, man, Nah, you got him forty and then you'd bring the bed. Nah, so you fell in love too? What you mean? I love this hip hop thing? Here we go. Wow, he's still running that game that I hadn't changed like that. I don't know I love it. I just I just know when like like a big homie ask you if you found in love.
I don't know what he's talking about, because big homies don't be asking questions like that, I don't know that, and we're not a big hole. He is a big hole, That's what I'm like. Why are you no? You know, we didn't know everybody? Girl, that's what. Girl don't know. I don't know. I can't know what. Well, you know it's an error men being able to discuss. No, no, no, that extra laugh is he bid? Now? It's not. He's
going now and I ain't want to do. You can talk about relationships and if you have because you got Fami that guy you've got I've got seventeen kids, right, I got five. Okay, I'm just asking you how you look at I listened to your podcast. You know what I'm saying? Really yeah, the casey. So you're saying you want to do a podcast like that podcast. We had a great podcast with you that was two hours long. Yeah, you can get the amazing guys. One of our favorite ones.
Guess can't eat the food they don't got to cook. Okay, what do you talk about if it was so amazing? I'm just himself. You know. He talked about his relationship with his daughter, about what it's like a relationship type of guy. But it's hard for him to find the right person. I feel like it probably you. He's yeah, it's all me. And it's good when a man can recognize his shortcomings, in his flaws when it comes to relationships,
because that's how you learn how to work on him. Yeah, a woman will teach you a lot about yourself, the right woman. What's the last thing a woman has taught you? Like speaking things into existence? You know what I'm saying. So you said the right woman can teach you things. So you just told us about a woman that taught you something. So you found the right woman, is what you So we're doing chatty patty too. Now I says you found the right woman. I don't know who that
could be. I was happy though, because I said, while I know it has wanted to be in a relationship, hasn't found it to be. And I kind of specifically said I was running away from it. But if the person, if the situation presents itself. Have you seen the Red Table Talk interview. Yes, I recommend everybody watched that. I watched it. I don't do stuff like that, and that he's celebrating about it. Artists, they're gonna find out your little vices for you. Coming here right, and hey, hey,
if they want some information from you. One number one came back turned me up. Hey, sarlom maker go around his white friends just smelling like a black person, a black person. Now you ask the question that so many starts top dancing forwever he's about to meet. I don't tap dance from no white Okay, where you are you meeting with? And what you're doing shooting the movie today? Who actually an Asian Asian? Asianian? What side did they? I don't, I mean, I don't know. I don't. I
think that ye gave it away. But I could tell people think that's a stage name for sivil. What they'd be like, what's your real name? I'm like angela, ye, no, we know, Yeah, thank you, you're a beautiful ye as well, thank you? Anybody? Yeah, say you're saying about him to call somewhere else. You ain't even seeing you, You don't even see him driving off of your girlfriend. Because I promise you y'all better show this whole interview because I want to. I want everybody to know hid how greasy
I could get right. Second of all, I didn't answer my last question, but we'll get back to that. First question. The album drops and you know what because someone called me and was like, while he has a girlfriend, I heard about it because I know someone that's friends my ji. That don't mean you hot an the streets with these young ladies you are. Why are you getting a call that I have a lady in my life? Am I not to enjoy the fruits of my labor then with
somebody with some soft feet and features? Not to do that? Because a lot of girl that girls ever. Let me tell you, every time you come up here, right, I hope bunch of girls going for it and say I want to be Wallet's girlfriend. Hook me about wilet. So naturally, when people here you're in a relationship, you got to talk to the mike, na because it's for us right now. You just said you want to if it means not much to you gotta put do you care or do you want the people to know is about us in
our friendship? Or do you want the people to know what's going on? This is cute? It's on the shave room. No, that's why we're asking you. Oh, so who you doing? Stay strong? Stay strong? Who you day? My boyfriend were yet not here? What's his name? Wallet? This is I'll follow you for twenty four waver year. How is that? Everything is fine? Too? Are going? Everything is where you are? Check this out available right now? The merchant Fire sold out. Well,
she's been accompanying him on tour. The defense Floyd May defense. I adn't you hit him yet? Question? What sorry? But like like in real life, what's the fascination right with other people's personal lives? The truth to the matter is this is that people watch and it sometimes it gets clicks and sometimes to get lights and sometimes to get retweets. That's what they But that's what it is. They're asking you because it was on the blogs and they want
to keep the story going. That's all all right. We got both with Wile. When we come back, let's get into a joint. The number one record in the country right now on Chill it's Wile featuring Jeremiah. Is the breakfast Club Good Morning? That was while featuring Jeremiah were on Chill Morning. Everybody's DJ Envy and Ngela Yee, Charlemagne the guy we all the breakfast club. We're still kicking it with Wile Charlomagne. Let's talk about Black Bonny. Let's
talk about black girl Magic, let's talk about it. Let's talk about how you put those records out and black women don't support them the way that they should Black girl Magic. But if you get pictured with a woman that's that's not dogskin, they all on your ass. That's controversial. Agent and my publicist, I can't speak about color. What have you ever listened to somebody? Nah? But h that's
a good one. You're right, But do you feel like you get to support your knee when you put out those records like black Sometimes I wonder if it's is it just not being marketed as such, because I think when sisters they complained about not being celebrated you wanted, you wanted the artists that celebrates them all. Sometimes they they probably mean they're not being celebrated by the person that they want to, the person that they're in the club turning up too like they not they want drink
to make Black girl Magic. That's one of them joints that don't. No matter my response, it looks crazy. That was a good one. I was doing five points to the Bratas Club. I'm not like forty right now, but like five points. You said you want to Grammy, you're putting it in there. I want it. I want it. I want it. I want to be invited to the awards and them not have soundra bullet in front of me and completely ignored that I'm on the red carpet.
That happened the first time we went to the Grammys, right for load the slot I was on the I was on the carpet. It's under bullet was there and I'm right and they're going like they go and I'm like, okay, you shouldn't get no song out, but cool, I should go. And then I go and it's like and it was over that. I was just like, damn. And it also put me to give me a perspective like, oh, it's just the rhythmic room. This is the urban I didn't
even get invited to be as ward. I mean, why you know why you care about that white person's award so much. One, it's just a it's a goal that I had at the beginning. That's one. Two. It changes your leverage and that matters to me. I want to do things. I want to change the world and i want to do things and I'm not putting all the juice into that jewelry whatever or that the trophy. But if it can't help me elevate things and do things, or you know, make an impact the way I see fit,
then by all means I need it. B T Wars should mean the same note. It should because that's our award. I wasn't nominated for one of them, Jones, I wasn't even nominated for a hip hop award, and that made me feel away. But I tell myself all the time about you really your light to these people, Like whether they love you or hate you, they you are light to in this industry. You are a light coming from DC going through what I went through, being counted out three,
four or five times and still persevered. I'm special. I'm different. Do you feel like if you don't tell people that they'll forget. I don't forgot. Oh, you know, depression. Anxiety is a real thing, man, and we talk about all the time, and you know, everybody and all the brothers in industry really appreciate you going there and even on a while that's crazy I talk about it, But I like the package of different people are laxing onto this because they had a bad day. That's not the pression
of anxiety. Depression, any anxiety is your heart rate is going up in your palmer's sweating and you can't. Everybody in the room is talking fast, but they're not you. Just your brain is in a weird place. Or you wake up thinking like the world hates you for no reason at all. That's what depression anxiety looked like. And I don't think very many people that be saying that really know what that's like. You've probably had a string
of bad days, lost a loved one, bro. It's hard brow you've seen you have Remember when you had a panic attack. And I've didn't say I'm doing it, right, I just say I'm doing it. What else do you do to help your your wellness, your mental wellness, because you can't say alcohol, na not all the time. Just come see y'all um, music is therapeutic, right, yes, And on this album, I'm really just giving it to y'all like I'm talking about it. People ask me about the
titled album a lot. Right. So while that's crazy, is the good and the bad and everything in between? Right, something bad? Happy? Wow? Your team wanted to Wow, that's crazy and it's everything in between. And also there's a balloon on the cover and it's flying away, and it's really just letting that stigma go. You're releasing You're releasing the crazy stigma. One of the main things about my anxiety comes from what people's perception of me is before
I even meet them. So sometimes I'll be like in a place and they'd be like five people and I'm like, Okay, I'm a nice person and I don't want to know why I think I'm a jerk or nothing like that. I have social issues, but I have to hide them. So I mean, shake everybody's hand, look at everybody, not get to the third person. They're like, you don't remember me from such assis um um, yeah, no you don't.
On the outside, I'm looking cool, but in my mind, it's like, now, dumb ass, it's gonna be another person that says you was an ass. And probs go to women again because that a lot of them. They don't care what nobody say. And I want to be like that in some ways. I don't want to be bad, like no, I don't remember who you are. I mean, but you personally, I've went through so much things with people saying things about me that I feel like it
triggers that. And then sometimes I'm just not good with talking to people in some environments, like if I don't know you, I'm not really gonna be that talkative and fine, and it's it's not though when you got up when you are, when you were a rapper artist, that's trying to do better, that's trying to erase this stigma that people have of you. It's almost like the Mandela fast because it's because everything else, it's kind of like I might be kind of off with it, but this is
the just of it. Basically, It's like when you get information, like I think it's something like people thought Nelson Mandela was dead and it just stuck and people just thought that he was dead until he got out of prison. So it's like sometimes we can receive information and it's just like it gets trent, it gets changed into another thing, and we stick with that. I think that's kind of
what happened along the way. It's like, Yo, this guy's a jerk, this guy's after and it's like so many people can't really say why, or if they say why, it's like, bro, I was twenty two years old when that happened, you know what I'm saying, Like they stick to a narrative. That that that they heard and it comes from this person, to come from that person, to
come from that person. You've been in industry for a long time, you have you know, you could probably name on all limbs how manys that are genuinely a piece of you know what I'm saying, Like they don't give about you. They think they're above everybody. But like you know, that's that's that's real. Like y'all know me and y'all know I'm a regularly like to joke around around with
y'all whatever. But there'll be people that in the same position as y'all there working out the stations, that'll be like, why because it was the weirdo't when I first because I wasn't. Aw I'm an introvert. You would go to the club by yourself sitting in the cornerback and ain't a widow. We were just all over the club. I'll go to the club on myself because I'm trying to take something home by my soul. I'm in a club. Yeah, maybe you're a good guy, but he wasn't. I go
to the club by the suffer weirdos. I don't like that. I don't like that you said that if he i' weird though I thought you was. You was a weird though. I might have thought it was too bad. I might have thought you fll you knew Jersey, We're back in New York. I was thinking New York and oh yeah, okay, well yeah, because you went out of your say la Ron back yet now you got it. Now you calling me the former me a weirdo. The same wallet was on sneakers and all the fly I was doing that.
I don't know. I'm saying that because that's a generational thing. He was pen Will Fitts in two thousand and ten that he looked at you and he was like who' And then I, why is he in the corner? Don't go to speak it. He'd be in the corner just because I'm so bro because and and google the word introvert. Since you can read so good, he really can't. I don't know who told you. Let's not talking about the real at you right now doing Howard home Coming week,
real you, I'll be there to sell out. I don't want to talk about me for Let's talk about every going to Howard Homecoming like I went to Hampton Anna boo, you're gonna put that Howard jacket right on. He said, you got a light from that's what you just said. Why are you talking about those stuff? I just heard you say it. It's only about I don't remember. I don't recall it. Well, let's play doing up. Yeah, let's get to the music. What you want to hear, what
you want to hear by title alone. I want to hear expectations. You know why? I like expectations because I feel like you're you're saying people have expectations of you, and you're talking about that on this record. That's crazy because I am that's all. That's almost part of the balloon going away the cover because I'm like, get like, I'm getting it all out. Let's just get it out the way. You know what I'm saying. I can't find no peace. You know, I sacrifice my world to a
world that ignored me. You know, A black man in therapy because white terror don't sleep. I got the role of my leaf. Might's help with the PTSD. That's real expectations. The therapist told me the industry gave me p as PTSD. And he's like, every time I bring up like albums and like album releases and music like like you get tense and it let me know, like, bro, like this is a formative and he was like, yo, PTSD is like this. I only thought it was like people in
wars and stuff like that. But peop yes, sir, in the in the in the fear of failure has crippled me for so long, and the fear of losing everything. It's a lot of stuff. Let's pay even though you just made the expectations for expectations a little too high.
I'm what is that fire? You heard me rap? It's not always fifty list though we're gonna talk every l The guy we are the Breakfast Club was still kicking it with Wile Charlemagne, the guy who says he's the Goat, but I haven't seen him on any top fifty list. How does that make you feel? Nobody put you put put you on the list? Bro, A guy that says, well, say it again, Charlemagne, So I can discredit this. So you said that you the goat, one of the greatest
of all. To okay, what's the difference between those two two things? You said you're one of the greatest of all? So what did you try to say? First? Though? I said you were the goal. But yeah, so why why did you do that? I missed the word. I missed the word, but the word. Was it intentional? No? I wasn't intentional, you said, exactly, So me not being on anybody's list, that's not intentionally just forgot because you know
what time it is when they seen me. And if here's the thing, and if you intentionally left me off your listen, you listen not valid and every really know that as your question, why do we give talk about these lists? We don't even know who? Making me? I look like I'll get my back is turned to you
right now. I don't give a I got the number one song in the world because Urger Radio ur Urger Radio run talking about and this is what twenty three on the White People on hundred one one hundred shots shouted all the pds and m d's and DJ's, Yeah, number one right now, I don't know about nobody lists. How many number ones I got? Okay, I thought, so did I go get you know who on that joint? No? I thought, whoever you're thinking I'm talking about it could
be Madonna, Racy Ross. Why the man naming your mouf like that so much? Rosk on this one. Huh, excuse me, I said, why, why don't see no Ross and Mek on this one? Listen to the album? Yeah, journalists, they're not listed on the features. You ain't give us no album ahead of time? Good man? See the man is making too much money, flipping the man. I'm gonna take I'm gonna be there on Monday when we switched you. You could you done? I'm gonna be real. Yeah, what's up?
I know for a fact he threw itself out there. You let's hear your songs, so I know you've got You've done it. Every DJ's done it. I have we want to hear. Nope, we're gonna find I wasn't good. What if he puts out record if you're a weird where you're a weird? Though? To me, what if you put on the record and it stops on chill from being number one? Light Skin? He already got the handstock, so light skin. You think colorism plays a role in
how people try. I don't know what's happened, and we got the number one song in the world right now. I don't know what's happening. I don't know what none of that means. It's it's called it's called number one record, it's called Double M Genius, it's called We're Back Baby. I'm proud of you, bro. Yes, I've told you that on the air, off the air. You did it with no gimmicks. You did it with no mother pr stunts. You did it with no mother cloud chasing stunts. I'm
proud of you. Yeah, King, thank you. And I see you with your lady everywhere, which is great. We're doing it with you. We appreciate you for joining us. Brother, you'll shout out to my lady though. There you go, there you go, there a lady, there's a lady. What are y'all talking about? Y'all? Are y'all are weird? Though? Damn l album out right now? Wow, that's crazy. Also left the record show that's not Bell, But you know, no need to talk about that. Rose know that we
was a little low on the supply. It's not on the album. Oh y'all trying to save this white man. You're gonna listen to you drinking white man. If if Rose and Meek ain't on this album, I will go to Hampton University and give everybody a million dollars. Okay, And if we're not on the same record. What if we're on the same record, though, I would hope you're gonna play mister DJ. Yeah, everybody's ready to part all the cress a day. So that's the real that's the
real features our name would be Man. The real reason why I was sitting down in the club being a weirdo because you wasn't rocking it. You was playing some of get funking touch now y'all, this this out, get out. I was like, Man, this plane, this bay, y'all playing this all this boss? All right, it's the breakfast club? Good morning? Why you touched me for them? I'm in Houston. I don't know what's happening. You know, Drama likes you wants you to brush his bid. Dramas is all board
out who runs all boards. He's the guy that looks like dancing Dan Rue. Yep, and you see him in breakfast club videos. Weird guy, cool though, weird, weird young guy. We're we're young guy. H Beyonce, it's weird though this Yeah, it's strange. Anyway, let's get to the rumors and shout out to Wile again. People. Girls are already hitting me like, y'll hook me up? At Wile and my uh Twitter
and on Instagram. I told him every time all these girls want Wile and you guys mentioned John and I randomly sat on the plane next to Renee from Johanna the other day we were on a flight together to Chicago. So shout out to her because you know, just now in an interview. So okay, all right, well let's get to the rules. You know your name, man, Yeah, but I didn't know like they had like names, like there are two women. It was two of them, wasn't it this guy? Let's get to us. Oh go report, got
it's reports club, all right. Well, Basketball Wives has spawned all kinds of conversations about colorism. That's because og did not show up to the reunion. Well, she did show up, and they wanted her to be on a separate stage. And so Evelyn Lozada has been accused of being racist, being a colorist, having said negative things about other races. They pulled up old tweets. Well, she went on Hollywood
Unlock with Jason Leam. Melissa Ford of course, was questioning her about some of those things, and shout out to DJ Damage also. So here is what she had to say about the gift that she did. I think it was like an orangutan, and she I guess oge that was one of the reasons that she said that Evelyn was a racist. I searched in my phone laughing gift and the little monkey was the first one, one of the first ones that came up. I go and I post this this quote with a little laughing gift, and
that's it. I didn't add anybody, I didn't hashtag, I didn't throw a subliminal. She must have seen it and then made it about herself. Honestly, I don't connect this little gift to black's African Americans, Like, that's not a
thought in my mind right. And in addition to that, after that, they talked about Evelyn Lozada and basically the whole color is and thing and how she perhaps didn't identify as black previously, but now because all these issues are coming up, she's saying that she is Afro Latina. You've never been forced to define what you know, what you're, what you identify. I went never, Okay, I've never It's
never been a conversation. People knew I was Puerto Rican, people knew I was born in Brooklyn, raised in the front, you know, So it wasn't. But because we are in this dnage that we live in that everything's about race or colorism, that's why we're speaking about it, but it has nothing to do with this. And then I really what that was connected to was when I found my grandpa two years ago and me doing DNA to find this man because we didn't know who where he was.
All right, So that is what's going on with that. But it's been an ongoing conversation. We told you before Evelyn Lozada even tried to get a restraining order against OG. Yeah, so there's a lot of back and forth between these two and a lot of bad blood. All right. Now, let's talk about DJ Khaled. He was on Anti Martinez Untold Stories of hip Hop, and one story that he told was a really scary story of when he was a teenager. He said, around sixteen or seventeen, there was
a home invasion. His whole family was in the house. And here's what he had to say about still having anxiety attacks and panic attacks because of that. After the home invasion, you know, my father was going through it is a call and messed up some things. What do you mean from the business. They sold the house, and I just knew that was it was rough. I just
never forget. My father told me, um, I'm going out of town, so your family left it you stay and left to go start new career, start back over and be around their their brothers and sisters. I was like, you know, I'm a I'm gonna stay. You're sixteen. I'm like sixteen, I'm saying, started working hard and I believed in my dream. Did he say anything about the home invision though, Yeah, that's what happened. It was a home invasion.
That's why his family left. He said his parents were home and you know, they applied it on everything, and he said that's why, also why it was hard for him to be able to trust anybody for a long time. But the whole start of that was about the home invasion that happened in his family leaving after that home invasion. Let me let me apologize to the Jehovah witness guy that came in my gate yesterday. I didn't know who you are. I'm sorry, but somebody came in my gate
and I let the dog go. I let the dog go. I've never seen a man run that fast in my life. But then when he got out of the gate, he told me he was jehoa witness. I'm like, you just can't come on my property because he came, he came in, he went through the gate. So when he went through the gate, I let the dog go. My mother grew up with Jehovah witness. I grew up with Jehobal witness. But I don't feel sorry for him. Old though, shouldn't walk in your kids. Now at the old the white
guy with a child. So I don't care if you're old, young with if you come in this gate, I let the dog go. He at least leave the watchtower already awake for you. Now by that time he was out of breath. He was running the watchtow the dog bite. And you have to pay for the watchtower, right, No, they get those away for free. I remember he's coming. Then you give him like fifty cents or something like that. I don't I don't remember I being the field service
in a long time. But I don't remember collecting no money in field. But he'll never do that again, all right now, Colin Kaepernick, they have released a fact sheet, a two page fact sheet about just basically trying to kill all these quote false rumors that have been dogging him. His sports agent, Jeff Nallely, is the person that actually released the document, and he said, in his twenty five years that he's working in the business, he's never seen
anyone treated as poorly and unfairly as Colin Kaepernick. He said he's reached out to all thirty two NFL teams, but it's gotten little to no response. He said, not a single team has offer Colin a job since the twenty sixteen season in which he began his peaceful protest. Not a single team has brought Colin in for a workout. Seattle bought Colin in for a visit, but did not
work him out, and according to his agent. He also said that Colin Kaepernick is the rumors that he's demanding a specific salary are completely false, and the notion that he doesn't want to play is just wrong. He's been working out five days a week for three years in preparation to play again. So they have done this whole press release just basically trying to squash all of these rumors, all of these false narratives, and letting people know what's
really going on. So Colin Kaepernick is bigger than football. Okay, not a baby. Let's talk about him suing a promoter. Now, a promoter is saying that the baby didn't show up for a gig, and what the baby is saying is that the reason why he is now suing them. He says, the reason he never took the stage was because there was a lack of security. And as you can see, the baby needs security. He needs some good security. People
are always trying to test him. So in the documents, the baby says the contracts he signed with the promoter promised him too security guards at the club, but they failed to deliver on the night of the show, and he says the lack of security is why he just wouldn't and didn't perform. So if you fail something in your soul like this isn't a good idea. I don't see the security. You gotta pay attention to that. All the baby need is about three more canes and he'll
be fine. Cane is his big security. Yeah, happy about three more canes. He won't need security no place else. All right, let's talk about this. Michael Jackson and musical produces for this new Michael Jackson Musical said that they are moving forward with their Broadway show, even though there's
so much controversy that was caused by leaving Neverland. So normally producing a Broadway musical is a way to make money and encourage art, but they said continuing with the Jackson Musical, produced by none other than the Jackson Estate, is nothing more than a stubborn crusade against men who say their lives have been destroyed by its main character. It will make audiences cringe. I think people are still gonna go see it. Oh yeah, why wouldn't you? You
know why? Because it's some people who believe Michael Jackson is guilty of the crimes, and it's some people who believe he's not guilty of the crimes. And the people who believe he's not guilty will still go support All right, well, MJA The musical will begin performances July six, twenty twenty, at the Neil Simon Theater. All right, I'm Angela Yee and that is your rumor report. All right, thank you, missus.
Uit now, charlomagn who're giving that donkey too? You know, I need this man from New Jersey named Richard Decker, but we're gonna call him Dick, Dick Decker, he's thirty one years old. We need Dick to come to the front of the congregation. We'd like to have a word with him, because Dick was putting his Richard someplaces shouldn't have been. Oh my goodness, already, we'll get it to that. Next. He belocked us the breakfast cloak of morning. I was
born to Donkey. It's the Donkey the Devil breakfast club. Yeah, don't here today. For Friday, October eleventh, goes to a New jerseyman named Richard Decker. Let's call him Dick. You know, Dickie short for Richard, so we'll call him Dick Decker. Now we really need to see if Dick's origin starting Florida, because man, on the scale of one to Florida, the level of stupidity and this man's story is absolutely pohokey.
I've never been to Pahokey in Florida, but it's ranked the worst place in Florida, So I'm just assuming it has to be pretty bad. And when I hear what Dick Decker was arrested for, I have to think to myself, WTF what the Florida? All Right, I'm sorry Florida. But you all have reached the level of crazy that when we hear certain stories, we say to ourselves, oh, he must be from Florida. When I told the story to the room this morning, it was like, whatever happened Florida? No,
Dick Duckie is not from Florida. He's from New Jersey. But he's just pulled a Florida move. Now, Unfortunately, there's no news report for this story yet, and I'm highly disappointed because I love when it's news reports about nutass news like this scene. A card to the New Jersey Herald, Richard Dick Decker, thirty one years old, wanted to have sex, and I guess there was some fine things on a farm in Jersey that caught his eye. Oh yes, parts
of Jersey definitely have farmland. In Sussex County is one of those places. People work on these farms, they live on these farms, and Dick Decker was in the need of some sexual healing. So what Richards started doing, Okay, what Dick started doing is sending messages to farms and horse stables in Sussex County asking if he could have sex. Now, I know y'all think that sounds creepy, and you should because it is a random person calling you, just asking
for sex. But look, it gets worse because see the people Dick Decker was calling or animal caregivers. And when he was asking to have sex, he wasn't asking to have sex with the animal caregivers. He was asking if he could have sex with their horses in cows. I can't make this kind of stuff up. I'm reading this in the New York Post right now. Dick, thirty one years old, began sending the messages to Sussex County farms and horse They was in twenty eighteen asking the animal
caregivers if he could have sex with their cows and horses. Question, do you think Dick Decker is a vegan? Okay, I'm thinking of sexy vegan from last week. He was a vegan who was sleeping with his dog. But people don't eat dogs in Americas. That don't count. But if you are vegan having sex with cows and horses, something's not adding up all right now. Dick Decker didn't take the rejection kindly. He called these animal care givers and asked for consent to sleep with their cows and horses. He
was rejected by the farmers. So what did Dick Decker do? Dick Decker sent threats back and placed homemade metal spikes on their driveways to damage their cars. In one case, he threatened to beat a farmer's wife with a wooden stick when denied permission to fornicate with their horses and cows, and several of the property owners reported their tires had
been damaged by spikes. And when he was arrested and police searched his home, they found a homemade twenty two calible gun, arrows would explosives, attached metal spikes similar to those used at the farms, and posters of the Chick fil a Cow. I'm not making this stuff up people. You know what, It's time to play a game of
guess what race today now? Richard Dick Decker, thirty one years old, Sussex County, New Jersey, called farms and asked the animal caregivers if he could have sex with their cows and horses, and when he was rejected, resorted to violence. Guess what rice it is? ANGELI yea, I will definitely without a hesitation say he is old Town Road white. Actually, Old Town Road would be black. Door right, Well, not
the remix, No, yes, you gotta sit the remix. Dj V. Richard Dick Decker, thirty one years old, Sussex County, New Jersey, called farms and asked the animal caregivers if he could have sex with their cows and horses. When he was rejected, he resorted, the violence, us what race in as? This one's a tough one. Okay, that's what's a tough one. I take. You try to throw me off. Come on, I got I gotta go ahead. I gotta go white. You know you know I'm gonna ask Stephen Stephens, the
white man in the room. Stephen. Richard Dick Decker, thirty one years old, called farms and asked the animal care givers if you could have sex with dead cows and horses. When he was denied, he resorted the violence, guess what race it is? Stephen the white demon? He was white, but we don't claim him. We gave him up in the racial draft of two thousand and nine. Okay, right, man is christ I would like Stephen the White Demon, DJ n B and Angelie to know that they're all correct.
Richard Dick Decker is Caucasian. Let me tell you something. The male ego is fragile as is, but the white male ego who the white male ego is fragile, is egg. That's probably why eggs are white, because white men have sex with chickens, all right, and then they have the white eggs, all right. The entitlement and the privilege that comes with being a white male when you don't get your way, even if it's because someone told you no, dick, you can't put your richard and my horses and cows.
The level of entitlement, one must have to think that they are wrong for this, and for you to resort to violence. This story really made me think of vanilla isis, you know, Vanilla ices is those white male domestic terrorists who shoot things up because they haven't dealt with their trauma properly, so they just redistribute their pain to other people. Don't raise your hand, Stephen, you're scaring me, all right. The rejection, the rejection that white men feel from not
getting laid usually results in violence. Stephen, put you don't raise your hand. You raise your hand twice. Okay, this is yet another reason why Stephen, the white demon our cameraman scares the hell out of me all right, Please let Kathy Griffin give Richard Dick Decker the biggest he hall. Please give this giant jar of male the biggest he hall. Dick Decker. Hello, my name is Dick, and I would like to have sexual relations with your horse and your cow.
Are they available around seven thirty tonight too? Well? Definitely sound like our camera guy. I've done that before. But anyway, thank you for that dog. Key what you say? Anyway, thank you for that dog kay to day. Now you just got Dick Decker in his room with a big bottle of Jergens Chick fil A posts on the wall getting off to the chick fil a cow. Can you
imagine what's wrong with the world? What let's row with you for thinking of that man watching old Runs and mister Edge just whacking watching the Kentucky Derby, just going at Oh my goodness. All right, let's get serious. Let me come back. Katy Kirk will be joining out. Hey Katie, everybody's screaming up all right, really get ourselves together, all right, Katie Kirk. When we come back, it is the Breakfast Club, Go morning, the Breakfast Club. You're checking out the world's
most dangerous morning show. Morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlemagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. We got a special guest in the building, journalistic legend. There you go, Katie. Don't want to see her name Rongic. You say it wrong, Court, Yeah, a lot of people say it. No worries. Why everyone?
How are you doing? Nice to see you off. You're a part of the iHeart Mafia on iHeart Radio called Next Question That's Right, investigating the people, movements and issues shaping today's world, and the first episode was about sex. It is just any kind of sex. Scary sex, Yeah, exactly what a scary se Well, I guess it is in the eye of the beholder or participant. But one of the things that we tackled in one of the first episodes is the accessibility and ubiquity of violent, misogynistic
porn that gracious, Katie, why no you know. Someone came up to me at a conference and said, we had someone come to our school and talk to the parents about this particular kind of porn that is so easy to access for especially young men, and a lot of it is super violent and as a result, there's a lot of choking going on you know, anal sex that's not necessarily consensual, and I sounds like a regular Friday night for some people. Well, you know what's interesting. No,
actually it is interesting. And I think that one of the things that is important that I say in the podcast is you know, what two consensual adults do is up to them. Correct. But in these in this case, the survey was done and one in four women report being afraid during sex. But we just kind of explore how it may be shaping people's perspectives or on what sex is supposed to look like and be. Like the first episode, the official first episode is on CBD. You know,
there's abb everywhere. Know, it's so interesting because you know, they have CBD dog food, they have CBD olive oil, they have CBD perfume, CBD tamp on. Somebody that will make Yeah, I mean you know. So the question is how is it affecting your neurotransmitters that are responsible for pain, anxiety, depression, etc. Yeah. I use it for my anxiety, but I wanted to know scientifically, you know, is it the placebo effect? How
exactly is it working with your body? And it's completely unregulated, it's going to be a twenty billion dollar industry by twenty twenty four. So how do you know you're getting good stuff? So there are a lot of questions because it just kind of came out of nowhere, Katy, how do you do research on all of these things, like the scary sets without using it? You have to participate in some of this, though not necessarily. I can take
firsthand accounts. I think, you know, although I did try to see I did try CBDU in all kinds of form. You know, it didn't really affect me. Have you ever been high? Yeah? Okay, so you know what to compare it to because you doesn't. It's not It doesn't make you high, not at all. And we talked about that, the difference between THHC and CBD and how it comes from a different part of the plant. It's a psychoactive part of the marijuana a plant. So I'm just sort
of interested in all kinds of weird stuff. Are you a frequent weed smoke girl or just no? Not really honestly edible kind of girl. I'm not really a big edible person either. Yeah, I'm not a big partaker in marijuana. Marijuana and I don't really drink very much. I don't know. I think I'm high on life. Gun. I read something that you went on a blind date with Cory Booka, I did. How was that? How did that come about it? Who set that up? I don't even remember. God, this
was so long ago. I mean, you know, my husband died of calling cancer when I was forty one, so you know, for a period of about fifteen years, I was set up on a lot of different dates with a lot of different people. I can't even remember who set me up at that time. No, not it was before he was married. But he was incredibly nice and such a smart, impressive guy. We went to a Giants game, super friendly and nice. But you know, book can I say no second date? But that's okay. I don't know.
I think that we were, I you know, for the same reason you don't have a second date with a lot of different people, right, We just I think we enjoyed each other's company. But it wasn't There wasn't a connections that way. Yeah, I generally stay away from that period, but yes, no prospect of any kind of sex. Are you gonna cover politics a lot? Some? You know? I think I'm I'll do some politics. I mean, there's so much politics out there. I think one of the goals
is to cover stories that aren't being covered. You know, um, how many times you gonna say trumping? Yeah, you know. I mean, it's it's really hard because I think also people a pick sides. They're either watching Fox News or uh, you know, MSNBC and CNN, and they're becoming more deeply entrenched in their own views. And you know, sometimes I watched and I think I'm living in two different countries. Right. Sometimes they don't even mention the controversy that seems right,
They're not talking about, you know, whatever it is. It's almost as if that story didn't happen. Do you regret voting for Trump? I'm just like, I've been doing this way too long and had a conversation with him. Yeah, now looking at him now, has he changed much? I think he's I mean, listen, I never knew him very well. I was at NBC when The Apprentice was on, and I went to his wedding. I think I was one of those acquaintances friends because our worlds intersected at certain points.
So I can't say that I really really knew him. I would say that the Office of the Presidency has probably brought out the worst in his personality and behavior. When you see how journalism is now, I don't know. I mean, I think some journalists are. I'd like to defend my profession because I do think some journalists are doing really good work. I think the Washington Post is a great newspaper that's been reinvigorated by Jeff Bezos. I think the New York Times. I listened to the Daily
all the time. I think they do such a good job of explaining things to people. So I think a lot of good journalism is being done. But I think what's happened is there's this proliferation of media outlets that have no kind of standards. Its journalism dead or had to be redefined? That's a good question. But I definitely don't think it's dead. I think it's been reimagined because of honestly, the Internet and technology and the fact that
everyone has a voice, right. I think people used to term journalists too loosely, only because like people will say to me, oh, you know, Charlemagne, you're a journalist, and I's like, no, I'm not, because I don't feel like I would love to know your opinions. Do you think journalists should have opinions, and do you think journalists should be judging situations. I think that that sometimes things have
to be called out right, you know. I remember I interviewed David Duke in the nineties when I was at the Today Show, and I started quoting him saying that Jews belong in the ashbin of history and just really repugnant, racist, anti Semitic things that he had said. And my dad called me who My dad was a journalist, who as a print journalist, and he said that was that was a real Edward Armereau moment, which was such a compliment
from my father. And I think journalists do have to stand up for American values, and I think if someone goes against those really important values, they should be called out. We have more with Katie Curic when we come back don't move as to Breakfast Club. Good morning. You can get a pic dj Envy, Angela Yee Schelman, the guy we are to Breakfast Club was still kicking with Katie current Charlie. I would love to hear how you would make American people understand what's going on in our current
administration right now. I don't know if you can't understand it. I think it's pure chaos. What do you think is going to happen in twenty twenty. I'm curious because you bring a lot of the candidates, Yeah, a lot of them, Philippa. The only person that didn't come up here was Joe Biden wanted to send. He wanted to sail surrogate instead of coming, which I thought was disrespectful. Yeah, because everybody else has come. But um, well, so who do you think is going to be the nominee? And tell me
your impressions of the candidates. I'm curious. I like, I like Kamala, I like Senda to Harris. I like people with a different Harris. I like sendaor Tim Ryan. I like Mayor Pete Pete as well, I like Marianne. Pete is having a hard time attracting African American support, yeah, because of what's happened in his own backyard, And I'm curious, do you think he can bridge that divide? It's gonna be difficult. I think Kamala Harris is having a hard
time with African American voters as well. She has kind of a mixed record as Attorney general. As you guys know, needed to lean in to being a prosecutor, like you gotta think, right, there's a criminal in the White House. Who better to go against the criminal than a prosecutor. You should lean into that and tell people I'm going
to lock now'll jump up. I think she you know, I think she leaned into it in the debate and got a lot of attention, but then then it's sort of subsided, and now she's lowered down in the polls because I think that debate with Tulsey Gabbard was I think hurt her a lot because she was remarkably unprepared. I think to come back at Tulsei Gabbard for somebody who's a prosecutor right to defend her own record. What do you like? I don't know yet. I think the
jury is still out for me. I think ellectibility, I think I think I think Corey Booker's incredibly smart and passionate and interesting. Hey hey, hey, but I just I just think, you know, I think it's still a little bit early. Well, if you want to hear about scary sex and CBD and East for an agism, because Corey book is a good found Now, I'm not going to be talking about that. I'm not going to be talking about that or online radicalization of white supremacists, right, Um,
what would you guys like me to explore? What are you interested in that you feel like you need more information about? I mean all of these topics that you talked about. I'm I'm all in, Like, I definitely want to go watch that national geographic especially, oh, I wish you would. It's called I'm so proud of it, and I feel like it didn't get as much attention as I had hoped. It's called America Inside Out. And I did these six hours looking at all these different issues.
So I did rewriting history, and I ended it with Brian Stevenson talking about the lynching memorial. Brian Stevenson, if you all can get him on here, he is the smartest, most eloquent interview I've ever done. It's so awesome. He's head of the Equal Justice Initiative. You guys would love him run about Okay, I'm I'm interviewing him this fall, really, and when I see him, I'm going to tell him to come by because I think your listeners, your viewers,
you would really enjoy hearing from Brian Stevenson. But anyway, so we did Confederate statues and kind of our whole the way we've recorded history in general. I did technology. I did white anxiety. I went in the middle of the country and talk to people about their jobs and just to hear what they had to say. Kind of the changing demographics. You know, by twenty forty four, we're going to have a majority minority population, and that makes a lot of people nervous. Yes, And why do you
think that is? You think because they think they're gonna lose political power. I think they're gonna lose jobs. I think all of Yeah. And then I did gender inequality in Hollywood and Silicon Valley and uh, I can't remember the other one. But I really enjoy taking deep lives into all these subjects and giving people the information they needed so when they did have an opinion about these things, at least they would know what they were talking about. We got a memoir coming out to her. I do. Yeah,
I'm you know, I'm sixty two. I'm writing about my life while I can still remember. Got you wow a little, you know, I mean, you relive a lot of good things and a lot of bad things. But you know, I think when you're a public figure like I've been for a while. You have a lot of people writing your story, and I think that no one knows your own experiences like you do. So I kind of wanted to write things from my perspective. You know, listen, my husband will buy it, maybe my daughters will buy it.
So that's three copies. Is your husband gonna be upset that you brought him? Cory Booker, No, he don't, Okay, he don't care. He's so great. My husband is so funny and so great, and he's like, no, he won't be upset at So you, to me is like whatever, Kirk and you cool? I got when you when you threw the piece out up you say, yo yo, it
was natural. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. So you probably you probably felt Corey was a little Corney, right, a little corny for you a taste there seemed to be a little kind of obsessed with this topic that he was asking, does javing Corey a little bit? The next episode drops next week Thursday, and we are press this week, but we appreciate you for joining it. Oh, I know what I'd like for you to talk about on your podcast, what Cancel Culture? But not just cancel
culture redemption culture, Yeah, how do you get read? Because it has to be some redemption. So far there's no redemption exactly, but it has to be right. Um. I don't know. I think in certain cases, I think it depends. Right. Does Harvey Weinstein deserves as that a chance? I don't think. So, you know, are there other people Matt Lower, I don't know. I don't know. I'm not I you know, I'm not going to talk about that right now. I'm writing about it.
I'm sort of processing it, and you know, there's still a lot that I don't know, um and don't understand. So I prefer to take a pass on that. Gotch Well, we appreciate you for joining us. Yeah, well, thank you guys. I loved it. It's so fun. I really appreciate it. And thanks for letting me promote my podcast. Oh no, thank you, Katie Kerry. We have no choices. I heart. That is so cold. That is so cold. How well? We loved having you here because you are og journalist,
journalisten the best sense of the word. Thank you, Thank you. I've tried. You know, nobody's perfect, but I certainly have tried. Absolutely the Breakfast Club this is the rule of report with Angela. Yes, so Burman is a step ahead of things. Well, he was supposed to pay up on one million dollars
that he owes his ex employee. And according to documents at the last obtained, they said that Burdman, in response to this one million dollars he would have to pay shut down all his bank accounts that he had with City Bank, and they said shut those down a couple of months ago. So he knew that coming. Yeah, the money out of out of Dodge. He could get arrested for that, but hey, he got the money out. Why
doesn't Burnman have a private bank? I'm sure he has several bank account Okay, yeah, true, yeah, So you know, now they have to figure out how is he going to collect on this one million dollars because the judge did granted default judgment against Burdman in the amount of over a million dollars. Yeah, I'm sure he got different LLCs, so he probably moved into different LLCs and different bank accounts.
She I didn't know you could just do that. Oh you mighty let me shut this account down all right. Now let's get back into Brooke Nevills and Matt Lower and these are rape accusations. We read you yesterday some of Matt Lower's open letter that was defending his reputation and denying the rape accusations against him that Brooke Nevills has said happened. Well. She said that his fourteen hundred word letters striking out of her was a case study
and victim blaming. She said, as this open letter clearly reveals there may be more than one Matt Lower. There's a Matt Lower that millions of Americans watched on TV every morning for two decades, and there is the Matt Lower who this morning attempted to bully a former colleague
into silence. She said for two years. And she's quoting some of the letter that he wrote, where he said, for two years, the women with whom I had extramarital relationships have abandoned shared responsibility and instead shielded themselves from blamed behind false allegations. They have avoided having to look a boyfriend, husband, or a child in the eye and say I cheated. They have done enormous damage in the process, and I will no longer provide them the shelter of
my silence. So this was Matt Lower in his open letter saying that he's going to speak out and not allow these women to be protected who are making what he says are false allegations against him. She said, this is the Matt Lower then, the most powerful asset at NBC News, who I feared when I continue to engage with him, as many victims of acquaintance rape due particularly in the workplace. Now, she goes on to say that
she blames herself after the alleged Matt Lower rape. She said that when everything happened, she felt like it was all her and she believed that encounter was basically because of her until the Me Too movement came along. She said, like many victims, she was trying to clean up the original event in her mind, thinking if they could have a romantic relationship, then she could make this event less traumatic.
So that is what she is saying happened. When people are questioning why did she continue to engage in consensual sex afterwards? I just don't understand why nobody is discussing that fact like that, the fact that she had slept, that she slept with him several times after the alleged rape, and sometimes she initiated the sex, like I think that's
that's worth a conversation. Well, that was her response to people saying that she tried to clean up the original event and that she thought, in her head, if they could have a romantic relationship, it would be less traumatic. And her main thing is she did admit that they had consensual sex on many different occasions, but she said the anal sex where she was yelling no and telling him no, no, no, and he did it anyway was
what the issue was. Even. I mean, yeah, even that part is sketchy because she said that she feels like it wasn't consensual because they both was drunk and because he asked to have anal sex and she said no. But then he asked her did she enjoy it? And she said yes, And those are her words. So it's just it's just a it's just a it's a lot
of great area in this whole situation. But I do feel like she was very truthful about a lot of things that she didn't have to be, because of course, it causes doubt when you are agree everything that happened. But if she feels like, look, I told you no, you shouldn't have done it. And then she said, in her head, she tried to clean it up because she
felt like it was her fault. That's what she's saying, is her explanation, and it Yeah, it just sounds wild when she said I had sex with him several times after the fact, and I initiated some of the sex as well, Like right, she was being honest about it. Yeah, but if that just raises a whole clouded doubt around the whole story. And I'm not saying she's lying. I'm
just saying questions need to be asked. Like it's not as cut and dry as people are trying to make it out right, all right, Now, Eesa Ray is the next celebrity voice that's coming to Google Assistant, and she's really excited about that. I saw her in whileigh going back and forth on Twitter about her actually being the new voice coming to Google Assistance. So there's some sample commands that are from Google that you can actually hearsay. You can say, hey, Google talk like Issa and then
switch the settings. So you could have done that for John Legend as well. I'm your Google Assistant. You can find me on phones, smart displays, and Google Home. And right now I'm using ESA's voice, which has pronounced Issa, not Issa. How about a quote from East say, embrace who you are now and embrace what makes you different. You can still call me your Google assistant now I
just sound extra fly. I think that's hell. Do you realize if if my voice was a Google voice, my kids would think I was the coolest person in the world, because, you know my like even my little four years laughter, Hey, Google play roll or not? You know what I'm saying. Like if they if they could hear me, yeah, as the Google voice, you know how cool they would think
I was. They dropped one a clues bombs for Easter Ray that's fly, you know always dope two when Calib DJ Callib was on Ways make it right now, don't worry better roads will be easier like it was. Dope upon Blessings upon blessing. I like Callig on the McDonald commercial. Better. Can we played that for old time sake? Come play calid on the McDonald's commercial. Man, I know you calid on the McDonald's commercial for Old Time Seake was way better than him. Always Yeah. Man, let me tell you
something about the McCafe hot chocolate.
