That's that's when you have a that's what that's what the CEO or the house handles and what happens. But the eggs after that, well, it is treating its candy and them is sometimes a real eggs eggs. Hey, did you get up and do that on on Sunday morning? Yeah? I do that each and every Eastern That Bard looked so drawn on this morning.

Okay, And I actually um filmed lip service last night, and Andy's wife Gia was on. Yeah, she came back with a T shirt that you gave her as a gift, said no more fake orgasms? Okay, and MFO, I like the movement. He like and MFO, I like that because she was taking or orgasms for years, for like a decade,
didn't It wasn't a decade? Does that trigger you? It does with your therapist. Wasn't eleven years? Do you and the therapist talk about that? No? I can see how that'd be a trick. I'm I'm not gonna trigger me for some reason. Did Okay, that was a long time ago. I haven't all gat them eleven years with you? How long you're working together? Twelve? You got to be a stupid ass man to faking or gathm. I can see how women fake men look faking orgasms. What do you do? Something got to come out? Right again, You can't really fake it when you're a man, because the woman is waiting for something to come out unless you,
you know, wearing a condomy. Yeah, freaking faky, friggy do that. That's what it sounds like when you're faking it. It does. Oh my goodness. All right, we let's get the show cracking. Garcel Bova will be joining us. I'm sure you didn't pronounce her name right, I did you did? Okay? Practice that? I may I may end over that pronunciation like thirty times, like one more time. How do you say it? Envy?
You practice that one. She has a new book out called Love Me As I Am, and you know her as Fancy from the Jamie Fox, also from one of the hosts on the Reel, and also from Umming to Hill, Coming to she was one of the young ladies throwing the flower coming to America one and to I think she was into as well, a rosebarrow priestess. All right, let's get the show cracking front page news. What we're talking about taxes? Oh God, why are you going to
start there? Lord mercy, practical information? God, damn, go back into the fake orgasm. It's the breakfast levecal body stej Envy angela ye, Charlemagne, the guy we are to breakfast was happening the front page. What's wrong with you? Man? Somebody just sent me I didn't really just been sitting here the past couple of days, and I just and it's a self care kid is saging here and polessanto and beads. Thank you whoever sent this. Okay, well let's start it up. Kia by Kia bab Well, let's talk
about taxes. The deadline is on Monday, so let's not forget. Usually it's the fifteenth, which is today, but the deadline is April eighteenth, so you can request an extension. Remember, you have to do something. You can't do nothing can ignore it. Yes, so if you do need to file an extension because you don't have it together, you have until October seventeenth to file your taxes, but you have to submit that form by April eighteenth or print the form and millet to the irs for your state, and
you have to make sure it's postmarked by April eighteenth. Also, all right, So filing for an extension does not mean you can delay paying the taxes that you owe. So remember you don't just get more time to pay. That's not true. If you owe taxes, payments are still due and that payment is still due on April eighteenth, on Monday. So you can also get a payment plan. So just remember to handle teams. Yeah, you're gonna need one of these self kid kit boxes. Put the manager you stress
and reduce your anxiety. Okay, because them taxes ain't no joke. But you know what, man, the beauty of taxes. And you know, as you get older, you just realize you gotta put stuff to the side. You know, when you're making a little bit throughout the year, if you can put it to decide is you don't have to spend it anyway. Well, some people get money back. A lot of people get money back. Oh God bless you on their taxes. Yeah, look, Nick, our camera guy raised his hand.
He gets money back. God bless y'all. Some people ain't gotta pay like Donald Trump, and God blessed them too. I'm bass gets money back. God blessed them too. If you find if you find a way to figure that out, God bless you. Well, a lot of people get taxes just taken out of their paycheck and then at the end of the year and they get there. Yeah, so all right, now, Meta the Metaverse, they plan to take a nearly fifty percent cut on virtual assets sales in
the Metaverse. So Facebook, you know, that's the parent company from Meta, They're taking all of that money on the sale of those digital assets on its virtual reality platform, Horizon Worlds. So a lot of people were very upset about that. It's really a forty seven point five percent
cut on each transaction. So there's a hardware platform fee of thirty percent for sales that are made through the meta quest store where it sells apps and games for the virtual reality headset, and then on top of that, Horizon Worlds charges at seventeen point five percent. Feet a lot of people were angered in the NFT community. One person wrote on Twitter, I hate you Facebook, Meta Once forty seven point five percent of NFT sales, they got to talk to the irs because I don't even have
that after taxes. Yeah, but all people making money like that off NFTs on metal, Like, yeah, people are selling things on there, and I mean, well, what's the money, Like can we see how much jack nft were for now, you know what I mean? So is it like real big money? So I don't know how Facebook would be messing with them, Like the only reason I would if I was Facebook and I wanted forty two percent and
if they're breaking multimillions of dollars, I guess now. Apple charges developers at thirty percent fee for in app purchases on the App Store, and people had complaints about that, But this meta in world's situation is significantly more than what Apple charges developers on the App Store. All right, well that is your front page news, all right. I do want to salute this young lady though Kia be transform LLC. She sent a self care kit for all

It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlemagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Let's get to the rumors. Let's talk Archie. This is the rumor report with Angela Y Atlanta based rapper Archie ever Saw.
Arthur Archie ever Saw has passed away. He was shot on March twenty fifth, and he died from his injuries on April third, according to the police. He was best known for we ready listen to this, We read we Read Yo Now. That song was the anthem of Atlanta's professional soccer team, Atlanta United, and he was a huge fan of Atlanta United as well. They also posted a
heartfelt tribute in light of his death. They wrote on Twitter, or staple in the Atlanta hip hop scene, Archie adopted Atlanta United before our first season and continued to be one of our club's most fervent supporters in addition to his decorated musical career. His voice will long live in ours. Apport his mind as we ready billows through the speakers for kickoff at Atlanta United matches. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends. Now his brother has
been charged. He was originally charged with aggravated assault. However, he now does face murder charges. After Archie passed away, he was taken into custody without incident. His brother is Alexander Krause. That record was huge too, I mean because he used to license it to a lot of a lot of teams, like the NFL had it in commercials,
Baseball teams used to use it. Like yeah, I wonder what the what the money was with that record, because I mean that was a sample of the I don't know if it's considered a sample, but then hey, hey, goodbyes. I don't know, but this tragic, tragic situation, all right, and more details have come to light, and this is involving the shooting that took place on the babies property
in North Carolina earlier in the week. According to TMZ, they're saying that the baby exchange words with an intruder who had the fence onto his property, and the baby ended up shooting him in the leg after that person did breach a fence surrounding his mansion. They said the baby called nine when one was cooperative with officers once they arrived on the scene. Now, the town manager, Ron Riot, said the baby stays at the home periodically and it's
impossible to stumble on the property by accident. One of the baby's relatives that reportedly listed as the owner of the estate, which is surrounded by a large wall and manned by security guards. I mean, I don't hear nothing wrong. Exactly what firearms afford to protect you and your property. I gotta gate it property to keep people away, and you have defense and I already had incidents before where people have attacked me. That is a firearm being used
in the right way. Okay, Well, that said the good brother. The baby needs to do some energy cleansing. Why does he keep attracting these kind of issues. All right, That good brother needs a salt bath and a good smudging with the strongest sage money can buy, all right, and analystic. It's to Mary Jay blythe some positivity. She'll be getting the Icon Award at the twenty twenty two Billboard Music Award. I'm surprised she hasn't gotten that already, but congratulations to her.
She's won ten Billboard Music Awards and she'll also be performing at the show that will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas on Sunday, May fifteenth. She is the eleventh artist to receive the Icon Award, So dropping a clues bombs from Mary J. Blige, damn it. All right, thank you, miss ye. Now we got front page news what we're talking about. Yes, a new COVID test has been approved by the FDA. This might be more simple than swabbing up your nose. Some confused the playing right, I thought, once the team won, they made it to the playoffs. But Atlanta be Charlotte in Atlanta has to play Cleveland today, Yes, because that is for the AH spot. Yeah. So even though Atlanta, so the Brooklyn has only had to win mons On
because they had beat Atlanta a couple. No, they beat uh Cleveland a couple of times in the regular season, right, whoever won the playoff game, whoever won the Brooklyn and whoever won the Brooklyn Cleveland game got the seventh seat, and whoever wins the Charlotte Atlanta game the night gets the Okay, all right? Well, tonight Atlanta takes on Cleveland and seven thirty and New Orleans takes off the Clippers
at ten. From Michael Jordan's lives sake, I hope that the Charlotte Hornets win, because, boy, you can tell when they don't win. He drinks heavily paying I said, the New Orleans and the Clippers. Oh okay, he said, I don't know why. I think he said the horn its in the hooks. So the Hawnton the playoffs, the Hawks are playing the Cleveland has playing Cleveland, got you, got you, got you, got you, got you, But the hawt and Cleveland playing with the A spot in the East Pelicans
got you. Okay, Sorry, Michael Jordan, you have your drink all right. The FDA has authorized their first COVID breath test, So it's a breathalyzer about the size of a piece of carry on luggage. And it can be used in medical offices and mobile testing sites. And it can give results in less than three minutes. So if you have a choice, maybe you'd rather do that. Then the swap up the nose isn't as bad as it used to be. Down. But some of y'all breast smell like you got something.
I don't know what it is, but I guarantee you it's gonna be picking up all types of diseases. You said it's the size of small luggage, so people can't buy because it's too big. Now it's for use like at a mobile site for an expert to do. It's not for like at home by yourself. Some of yall breash smell like you need to see a doctor at the less okay, And they said it accurately identified more than ninety one percent of positive samples and nearly one
hundred percent of negative samples. I know what root can now orders. There's also two new omicron variants that are spreading in New York and in other places as well. They said that variant appears to be causing well, those variants appear to be causing a small surge in cases in Central New York State. According to the Department of Health. So that's b A two twelve and be A two twelve one, and they're very closely related to the b A two variants, a version of omicron that caused surgeons
across Europe and is now dominant across the US. They said the two new variants now comprise ninety percent of cases in Central New York. All these variants, right, I don't know if I guess it's definitely something we live with. And legal weed sales in New Jersey are beginning April twenty first, according to Governor Phil Murphy, which is stupid, stupid. Why wouldn't they do it April twenty at four twenties
to date, that's the day you make it legal. None, Its very true, that's the day you make it legal. Now you think it would have marketing mindor like that. At four twenty, you make it legal, Governor Mury. Twenty You've got a point, Governor Murphy, with the hell's your problem?
One day, I come on people A twenty one and over, we'll be able to purchase cannabis and cannabis products without a medical card on that date, and seven medical marijuana dispensaries in New Jersey were given the green light to sell recreation a weed at thirteen locations. That's stupid, tooteen locations in the whole New Jersey. Thirteen You know how
mannes are going to be. They should have just allowed everybody medicinal to just due recreation and dependent's going to buy a legal weed on that day though, you know everybody's not going to just make the transition to going to buy a legal weed immediately. Don't take them a little while. They still got that guy, Yeah, I don't take them a while. But four twenties should have been the day to the Atlantis of Wednesday, a random Wednesday, Yes,
all right. Now millions of Americans are resorting to risky ways now to try to buy an affordable home. So land contracts and other kinds of alternative financing have been around a long time, and that all is rooted in the race based redlining that blocked Black Americans from traditional mortgages. But they become a lot more common after the Great Recession and as housing and rental costs have skyrocketed, So
for some people that's their only option. But these deals all suppose a financial risk to families with the least to lose for many American families. They said, homeownership has been the largest source of wealth over the past century. Moreages are a key step to achieving that financial security.
Land contracts are a really difficult thing to do, wouldn't you agree, Envy, because sometimes, like if you miss a payment, that's it, and then the property goes right back to the original person and there's nothing you could really do about it. Yeah. I always say, they try to make these laws and regulations to help minorities and help black and brown people, but most of the time it's not really to help. It's never really to help, all right.
They're saying that about twenty percent of all borrowers have used alternative ways to finance a home at some point, and the borrowers are largely low income, more likely to live in rural areas, and disproportionately Hispanic and black, which reflects the racial gap in home ownership. And unlike mortgages, alternative financing deals are usually not recorded with any government office. They don't start with a bank or a mortgage company, and so they're not subject to the same state or
federal regulations. So just be careful. I know a lot of people are thinking about home ownership right now. But if you can't do things in a way that is really safe and secure and stable, it might not be the right time. Yeah. I always help people, look like,
look at hard money lenders like a shark. Right. They're going to give you the money based on the deal, and the reason they give you the money based on the deals because if you can't pay or there's an issue as their problem, they're gonna take that property because they know they got equity in that property. So if you ain't got your your ducks lined up and you don't know really what to do with how to do it right, just make sure you stay away, say away from it, or ask somebody who does I like how
you use all those aquatic animals. You said a shark, you said a duck. I like that. Thank you? All right? And remember our verbal contract is not binding, okay, So if somebody makes an agreement with you verbally and you don't have it in writing, a lot of times, an attorney with Southeastern Ohio Legal Services says that handwritten notes
just don't pass in most cases. And some people think that if you make an agreement that's binding verbally, but that's not true all right, well, that is your front page news. All right, thank you, miss ye. Now when we come back, Garcel Bouvais will be joining us, actress author, you know from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and the and the Rail She was Fancy and the Jamie Fox Show. So we're gonna talk to him when we come back. I just don't move as a breakfast club.

I'm getting through it. Okay, how's your energy? I've never had anyone say that. Well, no, I think that's a very important question to ask, you know, people say how you doing. When you say how you're doing, it's kind of like a generic thing that people give generic answers. How's your energy? That's right. You say, how you gotta really think about it, like, oh I love that time. Yeah, but my energy is great. I feel grounded and happy and grateful. I got it from my therapist. Run with it, okay,
yeah all the time. No, I love it because I feel like, as a performer, you want people to relate to something. So I hate when I hear people go I don't want to be called that. But it's like everybody connected to that show and to that character. So it's a good thing. And Jamie Fox had a discussion too about you would you know, be open under the right circumstances to bring back the Jamie Fox Show. I would.
I would. We had a blast. I mean that's when you know Jamie was you know, he was still doing stand up and traveling while we were doing that show, but we connected. I would love to do it. I'd go back in a heartbeat and do a reboot. If people think of black cinema back then, we didn't have enough of it. You know, we didn't have enough of it. We weren't really representing, we weren't really seen like that. You know. Back then, I think we as the community
wanted more stuff with us in it. But Hollywood wasn't really up up to speedback then. That's creative, even with Eddie Murphy being the biggest star at the period black or white period. I remember like Beverly Hills Cop, Like when that came out, that was huge. You know, did you get paid much back then? And not at all? No, I mean you were lucky to be you know, yeah exact yeah, per diem for sure. Yeah you got thirty dollars or something today. But you know, it was the
experience for me. I had never been on a set, you know, where there were real actors. It wasn't just you know, a music video or something like that. Before we get to the book, I always wondered, why do you decide to do Housewives of Beverly Hills? Like what was what got you into day? What got me into it was a few things. First of all, I was a fan of the franchise, and I obviously had friends in Beverly Hills. But as a as an actor, I
was traveling so much. My kids were about to go to middle school as it is, because I'm divorced, I have them half of the time, and I really wanted to do something that was going to keep me in La So that was a big factor. And it didn't you know that some of the franchises, they fight, they argue, they call each other names. Yeah, that was tough for me. I mean it's still tough for me. That's the hardest part of the job because we're supposed to be friends,
you know, but I wouldn't well that too. But we're supposed to be friends, and sometimes it's like I wouldn't be friends with somebody who can throw me under the bus too, So that's the challenge for me. On the show Wish on that show sometimes, yes she did that. She was triggered about something. What do you want to do?
The book is here lovely as I am, and I was wondering, do you feel like, Um, I feel like God looked out for you a lot, even just you getting into modeling and the whole way that it happened. It was like destiny faith. But then it has to be God too, I agree. I mean God all the way through good and bad, even the things that were you know, hard for me or brought me to my knees. I needed those things to get to the other side
of it. And I feel like, yeah, for sure, my whole career is based on, you know, my perseverance and tenacity because I went after a lot on my own. But for sure God was with me the entire way, even when I was going through just found out that, you know, I was betrayed in my marriage. I remember driving to the beach because that's the place I feel like I can get grounded. And I remember hearing You're exactly where you're supposed to be, even in the midst of the pain that I was going through, and I
had to believe that. And I feel like if I hadn't gone through that, I wouldn't be where I am right now. So God is everything. Absolutely Yeah. I don't even like to say God is good because Chick fil
A is good God. My kids love everybody. Now, if you could ask your mother some things that you never had a chance to ask her, what are some questions that you I want to know, you know, I want I would have loved to have known where she got her strength from, you know, to be a single mom, to bring us to the United States on her own.
I would have loved to have found out, like what she loved about my dad, because I feel like when when parents get divorced, you if you if you're only living with one parent, you only know that side of the story, and there's two stories to everything. I would
have liked to have known my father's story. I would liked to have known his side of it because I think it would have made me understand him a little more, and I would maybe would have had more compassion and sympathy for him, as opposed to not wanting anything to do with him. Because he left when I was three. He came back when I was fourteen, and that didn't last. And I didn't know him, and I didn't think I needed a dad, And now that I know better, of
course I needed a dad. You had. The wildest thing in the world is that we really don't know who our parents were before they were our parents, and then when our parents, we only know him as our parents. We don't like humanize them the way that we should until you actually have a conversation with them as adults and you realize, oh, that's why you were the way you were. Yeah, and I would have liked to have known, you know, certain things like that. I would have asked
her how it affected, Yeah, your relationship with men. Oh, absolutely, daddy issues for sure. Um, I think you know your your father is your first love, right, that's your barometer. So if you don't have that, I think you you can have misconceptions of what you think that love should be. So I do think that. Um. I think I tried to marry men that were like my dad, but that's not what I needed. Did it make you not trust men? No, believe it or not. I trust everybody, and that's my thing.
I trust first and then I let you reveal who you are to me. Even after my divorce, I'm not untrusting at all. You trust yourself, yeah, more than ever, more than ever. And I found out that I had to love myself more than I had to love the other person. I keep alack. We have more with Sell Beauvais when we come back. It's the Breakfast Club the morning morning. Everybody's DJ Envy Angela Yeine Charlomagne, the guy we are to Breakfast Club was still kicking it with
guard Sell Bouvais. Yee. It was interesting in the book you talk about your the affair and yeah, you're getting a divorce, and but then also bringing up the point that in Hollywood it wasn't uncommon, right, so some people might think, oh he cheated, Well you can work it out, Yeah, no big deal. What made you decide that there was no going back for me? Because I felt it would change It would have changed my spirit, It would have changed who I was. I would have been this girl
who's like, where are you going? Who are you talking to? Why are you late? And I didn't want to live with that angst. And I didn't want to raise my kids with that angst. I thought I would do them a disservice to be the kind of mom that was so on edge about everything, and that's not who I am. So we are great co parenting. I mean, we're as we're a family. He's over at Thanksgiving, we go to games together. We're still a family. He's just not my husband. How long did it take to get to that point?
Because sometimes the initial breakup is like I don't want you around me, Like what was that just talking about Kim mc kanye. They said they have it at first, They didn't speak for eight months when it happened. I mean, to listen, it is hard because that's the person you trusted the most, right, that supposed to be your best friend, that's supposed to be your everything, and you know, like
I said, the person you trust the most. For me, it was important that I got through it quicker than I would have because my kids were only three, and so I went to therapy. I got a life coach. I couldn't hate the man that they loved so much. I had to figure it out. Did you did you not think maybe he could change evolve bro Um? I didn't have that kind of time because I felt like it was too big. It was too big. Yeah, it was too so it just wasn't it was um. I
mean he was remorseful. I think if I you know, we weren't. No, it wasn't gonna go there. Yeah, but my kids were great. They benefited from us being able to co parent really beautiful. Were you real with your kids and tell them everything that happened or no? And they're not going to read the book they go I see this interview. Yeah, I think my kids know enough to know that something happened. I don't think they've googled. I don't think they're you know, their life is good,
so I don't think they want to know. And they love their dad. I don't think they want to look see them differently, right, And I'm cool with that. I mean, I think when they get to a certain age, they'll they'll understand. I was gonna ask how painful was it to write the book, if at all, because you have to relive some of the stuff that you went through.
What was hard was some of the things that I thought that I was over in redoing it brought back some feelings almost like PTSD, if you know what I mean. But I thought it was important for people to understand me and also my journey and women. You know, life happens to all of us. It's how we recover. And you said you've been to therapy before, so this wasn't the first time you've explored like your inner child, right,
and the trauma that you child. I didn't go to therapy until my divorce, you know, I didn't do it but prior, but it really helped me. I mean, my therapist was like, don't try to put a band aid on it, like really go through the pain so that you can really just be done with it as opposed to just trying to numb it. But yet it's still festering in me. So that was she said, if you're whatever you're scared of doing, do that to get out
of the negative headspace. She was like, if you write with your right hand, right with your left, because you're concentrating so much that you're not in that headspace. And I wrote a children's book because of the you know what I was going through. I always wanted you, but it always scared me. And then I ended up writing three books called the I Am Series. Well from me a childhood kept showing up at I think my dad's stuff.
I think, I think not letting it, not forgiving, and then I think I finally realize that, you know, we give. We hold our parents to such high standards because there are parents we think they're perfect. Right, but how he grew up shaped who he was, right, who he became, So I have no control over that, right, So I think he did the best he could, especially culturally an island man. You know, there's there's a lot put on them that they don't always unpack. No what to say,
I gave. I gave my dad a whole lot more grace for you know, him and my mom's situation. Once I spoke to him and he told me he tried to commit suicide years ago. He was dealing with his onlyal health issues and he was on tend to twelve different medications and he was going to therapy Like that just made me like, oh, he's just the human doing the best he could. Right, that's exactly right, Yeah, that's
exactly and your father did. He did end up coming back into your life, like you said when you were fourteen, but the way he entered back in wasn't the ideal, ideal way for you. No, he wasn't loving and nurturing. He was very strict, and it wasn't I didn't feel safe. I didn't feel loved by him, you know, or seen
by him. So that was really hard, you know, is there an ideal way to like, how could he have come back that would have made you say, you know, because it was like he kind of just inserted himself back in this person that you didn't even really have a connection with. I mean, I think as a daughter, I would have loved to have been loved or maybe explained or said I'm sorry. And I didn't grow up
with parents saying I'm sorry. I apologize to my kids now if something, if I didn't handle something, But I didn't grow up with anybody apologizing to okay nobody, and so I would have liked a little bit more love. You know what I loved about your mom when you were talking about certain situations where you would go to her and tell her this happened. You know, she took care of this guy, you know, opened the door, butt naked her boyfriend and she was like, next day gone. Ye,
never taught to him again. Because sometimes parents don't believe their kids, or they don't feel your kids don't feel protected because you don't want to, like she chose this man over me, or I can't tell her this because she won't believe me, or she'll think it's my father. Right, you felt confident enough to be able to tell her what happened. I did, and she took care of it. You My mom was so strong, so strong. I mean, she's my Shiro. I say that because I that's all
I knew. I mean, she was the example being strong and independent and you know, and just took care of us. You know, when when I was doing it, I was like, loo, I please don't tell me this is about to go left? No, right, thank god, thank god, thank god. I was gonna ask when you talk about your parents and how strict your dad was, Yeah, do you take that sometimes as that's how Caribbean families were. Yes, like, because you know anybody I know that they are strong, protective and they are
making they make sure that their kids are restricted. It's no, it's it's a dictatorship. And then I'm gonna let you I love totally right exactly. You're seen and not heard,
you know what I mean. And I think that's why when I had the opportunity to leave at seventeen to come to me or to start my modeling career, I was like, sign me up, you know, but that strict upbringing kept me in check even when they weren't around, and I was in New York by myself, especially back then patient Jamaican, right, and anyone from a Carebean island's day the most strict, you know, to make sure they
ran the right way. That's right, that's right. And I'm now looking back you understand a little bit totally and they did the right thing, you know what I mean. And sometimes I think now we try to be our kids friends when we really need to be their parents. So how was that what you raising your kids? Now they think I'm strict, and I'm not as strict as like my girlfriend Nicole who My boys always go, Mom,
you're stract, but Nicole's out of control because she Jamaican. Um, so I'm strict in a certain like certain things are important to me, manners, respect um. But also at the same time, they're allowed to say how they feel respectfully, right. You know, like the other day I had something with Jackson. Uh, I stopped talking and he walked out of the room. And then he came back in and he goes, you know, mom, when you stop talking, it really hurts my feelings. And
I would have never been able to that's right. He's fourteen. Yeah, oh, he is unbelievable. And he goes, that really hurt my feelings. Can you work on that? I love that I said, I will. I'm sorry, I will, and I'm glad you did. I'm glad you were able to say that. Don't move. We got more with the actress and of course you know her from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Garcel Beauvais the breakfast Club Come one Morning, everybody is DJ Envy,
Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the breakfast club. We're still talking to Garcel Beauvais. You know her from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, of course, the Jimmie Foxx Show, The Real and more so, what were your thoughts on the Will Smith Chris Rock incident at the Oscars? Oh? That one. Um, comedians do what they do, they're used to. Whoever's in the front row, You're a target, right and I know Chris out of history with Jada in the past.
I think there's never, ever, ever a time for violence. That's my take on it. I saw you reveal recently you had a history Will briefly. Briefly. Yeah, I mean I think you know, I was a young Onjenue actress and I was on the show. I you know, I was, you know, fresh off the you know, fresh on the scene, and I was an actress and you know, um single at the time, and I did a couple of episodes
of The Press Fresh Friends. I also did Wi Wa West with Will, so we sort of had a connection and we, you know, dated briefly, nothing nothing to write home about. When you were on the rail right and discussing topics and whatever's happening, did people ever get mad on reporting because you know, sometimes people would be like, oh, yeah, how did you discuss that? I mean, that's the thing that comes with the job. But now with cancel culture, you gotta be you gotta be careful. But at the
same time, I'm hired to give my opinion. That's my job, right like you guys. So that's a little tricky. The other day, my son was m He was at a basketball game and I came in and he wasn't playing. We were watching the high school and uh, and he goes, check your phone, and so I look at my phone because he was sitting in the student section and he goes, didn't you have beef with Is it more money bag bag?
Money bag? Yeah, he go And I was like, no, not really, and he goes because he's here, and I'm like, take a picture because I don't know who he is. Why you have because we talked on the show about his girlfriend boughtom twenty eight acres land and I was like, as a girlfriend, you don't do that. You do that as a wife, that was my opinion. So then I guess he was like fancies coming for me, and so
that's how it began. So when Jade, my son texted me that, I was like, that's the crazy thing to say, Like, Mom, do you have beef with someone now, Mom, he's here. Is that applied to the man, Like, if I'm trying to court a woman and I buy twenty eight because of land for her and she's not my wife yet, is that applied to it? I would have I would have a problem accepting that if I was just your girlfriend. Yeah. Absolutely, I'm not saying that's a problem. I'm saying I would have.
I would be uncomfortable with that because I'm just your girlfriend. I don't know where this is gonna go. What if we don't end up together? Then? What with so many people that are recording you, what's the craziest thing somebody's purchased for you that you were not with as a husband? Um? I once went to dinner with this guy and the next day he had his assistant called me and say, can I have her passport information? There's going to be a car pulling up to take her somewhere. And I
was like, I just met you. He's trying to flow you out. He's almost getting fluid out. I don't want to be flued out. I must. I really know you. Listen, you had an opportunity to go to Hawaii with Michael Jordan. Wait, a minute, did you No, I didn't go okay and I were Jordan with the other guy? Okay, wait was it? What was it? First of all, Thailand, I found out I couldn't become a sex slavery. No, thank you, thank
Michael Jordan. Yeah, you know what. I was a model and this was obviously before Google or anything like that. And I was at Essence Magazine getting having a fitting first shoot the next day, and they said, you're gonna be working with Michael Jordan. Now the way they said it, I knew I was supposed to know who this person was, but I didn't. You didn't know who Michael Jordan was. Oh, I was eighteen years old. I didn't know Michael. I
don't know back in the day. I'm not gonna do the math and so but I could tell, and I was like, oh, that's awesome. So then I go home and I called home and I was talking to my mom and my brother was in the background, and I said, I'm working with Michael Jordan. He was like what. And so the next day, you know, here's this beautiful, tall chocolate man come in and we did the shoot the entire day and we hit it off. He was really cool and um, we hung out a couple of times.
He tried to show me how to play golf. I was terrible at it, and uh it was just you know, a story to tell. But that was it, trying my best first date. Um, my best first date. I would say, he's not in the book. Interesting, he didn't make the book. No, But I think it was just the fact that like, flowers came, champagne came, and then I was picked up and then we went to dinner and then we drove to the beach. Like to me, that's a cool first date. It's not about like a gift or anything like. And
it's given your personalities mess really well. Yeah, and the planning and planning. We like men that plan I don't know if you guys know that. Are you guys planners? Yes? Yes, because where's the minute? Like what do you want to do? Where do you want to go? Yeah, I'm not I'm not the best planner, but I know my wife. We got a bunch of homegirls. Yeah, so they planned things.
Oh what do you mean? I like, for example, like for her forty and b day, there's something I wanted to do and once I said I wanted to do it then like my home her homegirl Kim Kim's Yeah, that's cool. I'm a plan everything. What's the cap on money when it comes to somebody who's not your wife, because you said you take the flowers and whatever, Champagne. What the money cap? I don't know what the money cap is, but it's how much, it's how long I
know you? Do? You know what I mean? Like, I know some girls want Berkins that immediately bright and I don't know. There's no cap to me. It's more of the idea that you're thinking of me and you bought me something. It's not necessarily what the thing is, and that's preference. It's not a rule for everybody, for yourself exactly. You just wouldn't be able to accept that. I also don't like accepting gifts some people who I know I don't like you know, some people don't have a problem
with that. But if I know, like I'm never going out with you and I don't like you, I would not want to accept the present from you, exactly. But then that makes it feel transaction because somebody buy you a gift. But if I like you, I know I like you, I feel better. Yeah, but I shouldn't buy you something expecting anything. Anyway, I'm buying you something just that's correct. That would be the key. But not everybody's
like that though, you know what I mean? For me, I like, you know, if a guy says, you know, I was getting gas and I went in and I this is your favorite chocolate, I got you that like that to me, that's cool, that is cool. But that burke though everyone. Yeah, no, you know what they look like. Have you ever quartered a guy? Have you ever tried to holler a guy post a guy hollered at you? Yeah, totally.
I just said that. I actually sent I sent him an email because I knew where he worked, so I sent him an email just saying, hey, you know, we ran into each other and it was great chemistry. I could tell there was something there, and so I reached out and I was like, let me know when you want to have dinner sometime. But if he doesn't, no, he you know how sent you get those emails? I'm stuck out here and I need forty thousand dollars here. No. I think he knew it was me and he responded
it was cool. How fast did you respond? Pretty quicksty? Yes, it's my numbers, my number. I don't even have to pay now because you asked him out. Oh, yes, that's a good question. No, yes, fancy if you whoever had if you asked him out now, I don't have a problem paying down the road, but I wouldn't pay for the first one year, so asked him. Yeah, you asked him two Are you gonna take? Are you gonna take? I got I got it? Okay. Would you look at
to pay and he let you? That would be a problem on the first date, on the first date, that would be tough. Just put it on. I know I'm gonna take it for this on the first date. Uh No, I think a guy should pay. I agree, Yeah, unless unless they emailed me and asked me. Yeah, yeah, okay, I got it. I got it. But I don't have a problem. Bang Like I don't have a problem sending flowers to a guy, you know, if it's like Valentine, say, or his birthday. I think that's cool too. I think
that's really dope. Listen, it's it's crazy, it sounds I'm watching a lot of men who want to be treated like ladies nowadays. In a good way. Though. Oh okay, you know what I mean, for a minute there, I'm telling you, listen to a lot of these guys talk all they're simply saying that they want love, they want that emotion. I love it, I love it. I think you people saying, yeah, well, thank you for pick up the book, love me as I am, and thank you for stopping, thank you for coming. I enjoy you guys,
you actually came. We were here already. Well, okay, thank you for having you. Wow, he's a stick like that's the Breakfast Club. Thank you so much much. It's about this, the rumor reports Angela yee. Well, I do know. I saw it was like a stylist or somebody that was saying that the Rocky Asap Rocky and Rihanna have broken up,
and there's no real evidence of it. So one person said it it was a and then it's just kind of been everywhere since then, and so other claim reports are claiming that they were recently spotted at a restaurant in La and she was crying at the table, and they're saying that she caught him cheating on her with a fancy footwear design. There's all kinds of things going on. The woman is pregnant. We don't even know if that's true at all, you know. So I know it's been
on every block site. It's been everywhere, but it's not nothing confirmed. I saw there's a woman now saying that he tried to holler at her when he was in Brazil, and all kinds of things going on. But you guys, let her enjoy her pregnancy and her relationship. Okay, so why are we entertaining it. Well, it's everywhere. It's unlike every block site, and so don't be like the people who are hurting people. Don't be like the people who
are hurting people. Well, we're not going to ignore it, but I am gonna say there's no real evidence that this has even happened. So the fact that all these sites are putting it up without any evidence of anything. You know, let this woman enjoy herself. All right, and that is your rumor report. All right, thank you, miss ye. Now we didn't report this earlier, but I just thought this was interesting. You know what we're talking about Tom Brady and a touchdown ball that the guy paid five
hundred and eighteen thousand dollars. Well, they're saying the buyer who purchased the last touchdown ball caught a break because the sale of this pigskin has reportedly been avoided. Saving the wealthy collected half a million dollars. Yeah, so save the guys to the guy didn't have to come up with the five hundred thousand. Yeah, that that balling number the NFT. That's all it is. It had some value anymore. All right, Well, we're giving you a donkey to four

I understand, but there are signs that say no pets allowed,
but trained service dogs are welcome. We do not allow emotional support a companion animals in this establishment, but trained service dogs are welcome. I see a lot of those signs. Well, I know you're asking, what does that have to do with anything? What an answer is everything? Because Mike Keach had a service dog. Okay, Why did Mike Keach have a service dog? Because he is blind, all right, not legally blind like Donna Goudoe. Pop hold it down, by
the way. I looked her up this morning because I always wonder what happens to those humans who end up going by with stuff like that. And according to my research, and by research, I mean what I googled, she's in prison until twenty twenty nine. But this man, Mike Keeach, is blind blind, okay, and it's amazing to me that even though he's blind, he was the only person that could clearly see in this situation. Let's go to news Channel eight for the report. Please, I don't trip over.
I've never tripped or fallen since I've had this guy. Mike Keach and his service dog, Nico, have a special bond. I don't think I could almost exist without having a service dog. When Mike, he was blind, leaves his house, Nico a nearly fifty thousand dollars highly trained service dog goes with him. But when Mike, his stepson, and Nico went to the Overtime bar and grilled near his home
in Hudson last week, they were asked to leave. He says he was told Nico wasn't welcome and what marketender came from around the bar and said, I'm sorry, I can't serve you before we even tried to order. And I said, what's the problem And she says, my boss almost fired me because I let you in three weeks ago. And I said that's not right. I said, this dog is,
you know, protected by the American Disabilities Act. Mike tells me he showed the server this ID card certifying Nico's training and explaining the law, but after a call to her boss, they were told to go, I don't need to take this here. Was this there to get a bite to eat? I wanted a hammer girl with mushrooms, you know, and a couple of Budweisers. That's it. This real quick sidebar. He said, the best thing ever invented? Can you invent a dog? He said that the service
dog is the greatest thing ever invented. I know what he means, but that grinds my gears a little bit. I guess technically God didn't invent the dog and then somebody trained him. But that's not that's not why we're here. Okay, over time, sports bar and grill. How dare you all right? This is why the Lebron James version of the Bible says they have eyes but cannot see. This is exactly why the Bible says they have ears but cannot hear.
This man told you he was blind, showed you his certification card, and you still ask him to leave after he told you, after he told you his dog was protected by the American with Disabilities Act. I need to speak to the owner. Her name is Andy Smith, and news Channel h spoke to her as well. Let's go back to news Channel eighth for the report police. Her owner, Cindy Smith, invited me in to explain herself. She apologized
and calls this a misunderstanding. The past week, somebody had come in saying they had a service dog and almost been a customer. She's cracking down on support dogs, not service dogs. We have dogs them trying to be on their laps, sitting on the stools, trying to eat off their place, and it's a little difficult in recognizing what's
legitimate and not legitimate. Let's go forward. Mike tells me he accepts the apology, but he doesn't buy that anyone could a mistake Nico for a support talk, Shannon, I'm walking with my white cane, which is standard for the blind, okay, and I've got the dog as has the harness with the police. Don't pet me. I'm working. I'm wearing sunglasses and a hat in the building. What do you think?
What do you think? Do you hear that this man, Mike Kane is blind like TV show, blind movie blind like actually looks suspicious because he could be pretending to be blind because he's moving so blind. All right, listen to this man describe himself. Let's just listen again. Played it again. Red, I'm describing. I'm working with my white cane, which is standard for the blind, okay, and I've got the dog as has the harness with the police. Don't pet me. I'm working, I'm wearing sunglasses and a hat
in the building. What do you think? What do you think that is the I am blind? Startup hit? Okay? That could be a Halloween costume, but it's not. It's his real life. And the only reason I say it makes you look suspicious when you got all at it because I'm a brilliant idiot, and the bar for me when it comes to blindness it's Stevie Wonder, okay. And I've seen Stevie wanted to driving the car before drop top rolls and he had the top down smoking a
jay going down sun Set Boulevard in Los Angeles. He didn't. You're right, I didn't. Okay, let the record show I just told a whole lot. But the fact some of y'all out there believed it and could picture it vividly lets me know. Y'all know that its levels to this blindness and everybody, not Stevie Wonder, okay, I would assume more people are actually like Mike Keach blind service dog, walking cane so overtime sports bar and grill. I have one question, who's really to blind one here? Because it's
you and your staff who clearly couldn't see. And if somebody's service dog almost bit a customer, it was probably that customer's fault. You know why, because service dogs are highly unlikely to bite someone unless they are provoked in some way. They are trained from birth to fulfill that specific duty. So I need to hear both sides. I need to hear from the customer who got bit, but I also need to hear from the service dog to see why the service dog almost bit him. I bet
you we would side with the service dog. The moral of the story is so many of us are blind to our blindness. We don't realize how much we don't see people, especially the less fortunate among us, especially those who require a little more assistance. And this situation is proof for that. Please give overtime sports bar and grill, the sweet times and the hamiltones. Oh now you are the doge the dog gee, oh the day ye all
right now, well deserved. But there are a lot of people going crazy with these these dogs, walk around with these dogs and saying these dogs and service dogs when they're not service dogs. I see it all the time. WHOA. I don't know if they can see, so, I don't know if they actually need their service dog. And they say these dogs, you mean a comfort dog and a
service the comfort dog more than anything. But they put the service little vest on the dog and be like a little chiuaba but like, this is my my comfort dog, and I have to have it on the plane with me, on the store with me. And you know, because you could buy those service vest and animal vest online and Amazon and nobody checks him. It's not like you could say no, you can't. So people just are disrespectful with them service doing well. I know what kind of service
dog I want. I want me a South African bar or bar Okay for protection, all right, that he's serving a service. He's doing a service. We know I brought my dog in a club a couple of times. That's just stupid drink. No, he was a service dog in New York. That's why you gotta legalize guns. There's no reason if you want to if you want to reduce dogs in the you can't bring home. You can't have a gun. So why didn't you have security? I just wanted to see if they would tell me no, if
I could bring my dog. It's a service dough that is stu. Bide you hear me, don't pet me. I'm working, but I'm suposed to be scared. It's a punk ass dog. That's why could you call your dog apartment? Stop that podcast? Okay, in the club, with the damn service vestl on top. But don't pet me. I'm working because you're scared. Punk ass dog. That's the last podcast bit she gonna be today. I ain't called him a point. I called my punt got dog. It's a male it's a male dog. That's right.
There was a female called the punt right right. That's what you're trusted, a female dog is You're right? All right? Well, thank you for that donkey today. Now let's open up the phone lines eight hundred five eight five one on five one. Now, guar sell Bova was here and this is what she said during the interview. Have you ever quartered a guy? Have you ever tried to holler the guy opposed a guy hollering at you? So I sent him an email just saying, hey, you know, we ran
into each other and it was great chemistry. I could tell there was something there, and so I reached out and I was like, let me know when you want to have dinner. Some mean you have to pay now because you asked him out. Oh yes, that's a good question. No, ya's fancy if you whoever had if you asked him out, now, I don't have a problem paying down the road. But I wouldn't pay for the first one. You asked him, Yeah, yeah, would you look to pay? And he let you that
would be a problem. All right, Well, let's talk about it. Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. Should she have to pay? Let's talk about it. Eight hundred five eight five one. She asked him out she courted him? Yeah, usually the rule is, she said an email, you're the one paying. All right, let's talk about it when we come back. Eight hundred five eight five one o five one. Is the breakfast club, Go morning, the breakfast Club. It's
topic time on the phone. Call eight hundred five eight five one oh five one to join it to the discussion with the breakfast club. Talk about it, everybody, DJ, Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne, the guy, We all the breakfast club. Now, if you just joined us, we're talking about garcel Bova. She stopped through earlier, and while she was here, we were talking about if she ever courted a guy. So I sent him an email just saying, hey, you know, we ran into each other and it was great chemistry.
I could tell there was something there, and so I reached out and I was like, let me know when you want to have dinner sometimes, I mean you have to pay now because you asked him out. Oh yes, that's a good question. Now, yes, fancy you whoever had If you're asking me now, I don't have a problem paying down the road, but I wouldn't pay for the first one you asked him? Yeah, yeah, would you like to pay? And he let you? That would be a problem. So we're asking eight hundred five A five one o
five one should she have to pay? Well? My thought is this, right, if you ask somebody out on a date, and that means that you come up with where you're going because you asked them and then and technically you're supposed to pay. But I would think if I took a guy on a date and did all of that, he wouldn't allow me to pay on the first date. But I would be prepared to do so. And I
kind of agree with her. I would look at him a little weird if he I know, and I would offer to pay, but you know, and I wouldn't be mad, but I would think it would be weird because I think most guys you know would still pay. Anyway, I think she should expect to pay since she invited him but I think a guy should pay that first. You know that that meal. But since she invited him, that means I'm taking you to dinner. That means I'm treating you.
I'm taking you out right, since you made the first move, I'm paying for that meal. But as a man, as a guy, I think a guy should be like, no, no, I got this. But she shouldn't just sit there and sit back. I think she should offer to pay. Yeah, she gotta pay. She asked him out. Okay, those are the rules, all right, don't get Grimlin's wet, don't make Bruce Banner angry. And if you ask me out, you
gotta pay. That's actually fly. In twenty twenty two, we live in a world with gender role norms are being shattered. So go ahead and shout at him boot. Okay, you ask me out, dope. Now you're paying for the dinner. I might that's even doper. Okay, and she Haitian. A common Haitian value is hospitality. Go ahead and be hospitable, Haitian queen. All right, you're a boss. Thank you. I appreciate it. Okay, all right, hello, who's this Yoe? Not playing?
What's up? Brother? Man should sell out to pay. You think a woman should have to pay. I mean that's what you want to be equal? You know what I mean? That's right? Okay, I respected you asked me out o school. You know me as a man, I'm gonna pay. Yeah, you're still gonna pay. No, But but it's different though, because she asked you out. That's the that's that's the that's the context that needs to be said every time we asked that question. She asked him out, but he
said he's still gonna pay anyway, right, thank you? Brother? Hello? Who's this? They Chelsea from a landa Georgia. Now you call the guy you ask him out? Should you have to pay? I pay for myself? No, no, no, no no, you can't go. You can't pay for yourself and leave me to pay for myself. Because we're getting to know each other. Stricture, we get to know each other. I owe you nothing, you owe me then, but you asked me out on a date? What you're out? Yes? I
sell feel like we shiel have pay separately. What if he was like, what if he was like, well, you asked me, so I thought you would be picking up the check. No for each other? Because if I don't like you, I won't be mad. I can't my money full question. Technically, that's not a date then, right, because I mean, because what makes it a date is when
a person asked somebody. You really can't you really can't base date off for that nowadays, because everybody creates somebody over some I love you baby, having a day like you're talking to do you can tell us hold on? Oh no, she We already did our affirmations and every say this boy, Oh that's beautiful the affirmation this morning. I am beautiful, I'm Sarah Maddie, confident, and I am low. I love that. And I am gonna pay for this date because I asked this man out for yourself. I'm
gonna pay for myself. All right, Well that's gonna be your next day. You just put it out there. That's your affirmation, No man, eight hundred and five a five on five one God sell both as she stopped earlier and she was talking about courting the guy, and this is what she said. So I sent him an email just saying, hey, you know, we ran into each other and it was great chemistry. I could tell there was something there, and so I reached out and I was like,
let me know when you want to have dinner. Sometimes they don't even have to pay now because you asked him out. Oh yes, that's a good question. Now, yes, fancy you whoever had, if you asked him out, now, I don't have a problem paying down the road, but I wouldn't pay for the first one you asked him. Yeah, yeah, when you're looking to pay and he let you call me your opinions to the breakfast club topic. One morning, everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy we
are to breakfast club. Now if you just joined us. We were talking about Garcel Beauvai, who stopped you earlier. She was talking about courting a guy and this is what she said. So I sent him an email just saying, hey, you know, we ran into each other and it was great chemistry. I could tell there was something there, and so I reached out and I was like, let me know when you want to have dinner, sometimes you have to pay now because you asked him out, Oh yes,
that's a good question. No, yes, fancy if you whoever had, if you asked him out, now, I don't have a problem paying down the road, but I wouldn't pay for the first one you asked him? Yeah, yeah, you offer to pay and he let you. That would be a problem. So we asked eight hundred five eighty five would o five one? Should she have to pay? I say, yes, she invited the guy out, she should pay, but she wouldn't let her. No, I would take care of myself, but still not if she if she asked you out? Man,
I just think that's what dates are about. Like you know what I mean? Like, that's that's a that's a form of courtship, right, that's what it is. You You you reach out to the person, you say, hey, let's go do some type of social activity, and then what bonds that is? I would think one person paying for it? Right? If not? Y'all just want to hang out? Hello? Who is this good learning? My name is La La? How are you today? What's up? La La? I'm playing God? So can I put in my thoughts on this topic?
Plea La La? Please? Please? I think it's very unfair and disturbing for a woman to even think like that. If you're going to invite a man to go out, it is expected that you should at least no pain. Maybe I'm gonna pay for this. You invited him out? Why would if he that you're telling him let's go out, but then he has to pay for it. That's what I'm talking about. Queen. You are a queen every other woman, That's what I'm talking about. Let me shine your crown
and straighten your crown up. You tell these queen's queen, that's what I'm talking about. Putting it on there. There you go, that's a queen right there, Queen Lala, All hell about down the date? And have you ever accorded a guy that's guy out? Yeah? I have my fiance. You know how many times that somebody let's just go on and I'm fishing out and I'm paying or you'll pay.
It's just normal. I think it's Wow. We're not in the times no more where it's rolls a gender role to fight anymore, even even on a first date, not when you're with somebody, but on the first date. Oh well, I mean in his kiss, his first day. I mean, if this first day, why not? Okay? If the woman whoever asked is the person who should pay for the first day? Hello, who's this Crystal? Crystal? Good morning? What are your thoughts Crystal talk to us. Um, I believe
the medial paper for the first date period. Um, men get out of being a man these days. I heard Charlotte Maine say earlier that men want to be treated like women with flowers and stuff, and to me, it just comes across lazy. A man is there to provide. Women have to play their role too, So why can't you accept the fact that you gotta pay for the first date? But you're miss in the context, queen the
woman asked the man out, it doesn't matter. Yes, it does, process, No it doesn't, because the according process is the man upposed to be the head of the household. All of that in twenty twenty two is getting blurred because men just don't want to do nothing. If she asked you out, the policia could do us pay for dinner. I mean, we have cycles every month where we're bleeding and it's like y'all have to except okay, y'all have nothing on
this earth to do but to provide. So if I ask you and you'd be like, nah, you gotta pay, I'm gonna be like I don't want to talk to you, nor you don't based off your logic, you know, cam Newton was on a million dollars worth a game this week, right, and cam Newton feels a lot. He feels exactly the way you feel. Cam Newton also said one other thing. He said, women talk too much, so you need to shut up right now. Don't let him talk to Roles.
I love it, I love it, I'm feel it. I'm down like that, alright, or you like being told to shut up? I mean, you know, I'm fighting my Caribbean. What can I say? Okay? All right, God bless you queen, y'all go, let's pay it for the first day. All right, thank you? Hello? Who's this yo? This is californ Virginia b VAS. What's that? Seven five seven eight four seven five seven all day? That's right? All right, time to talk to us. So what would you do in this situation?
You're caughting the guy. Now you get to the table, you pay. No, absolutely not. Even if I purs through a guy. That doesn't make me obligated to have to pay, because if you're interested, you should still want to court me. If you broke, just say that, okay, no, because that's what the woman would do the artist. That's exactly what
the woman would do to the man. But but this is the thing, you're caughting the guy, right, So the guy might not be all the way into you, So he might be like, you know what, let me go check this out. Women do it all the time. If you ask a girl out, she might be like, let me see how I like him. You might see you how you like She might not like you. You got you gotta you gotta take that on the chin. Hey, whoa, We weren't gonna do all that that that's something I understand.
I'm just saying, if you asked me out, you should If you ask me out, you should pay. I just feel like personally that if he's not all the way interested, than I paid for my own food. But I'm not gonna pay for your food. That's ridiculous. Mann, Hey men, we could we should start doing this. If you go out on the date and you're not all the way interested and she don't seem all the way interested, then say, hey, I'm gonna pay for my food. You pay for your food.
There's no need for There's no need for me to pay for this whole date. If we're not feeling each other, I'm not really feeling this. This ain't going nowhere, so I'm just gonna pay my part. I didn't know. I didn't know that's how women thought. Like I've heard that about three or four times this morning. You had three drinks, you pay for your food. That's right. I'm not really
feeling you should, that's right. Now, that's another question. So if you go out with a man right and you're not feeling him, do you still expect him to pay? And if he asked you out, yes, yeah, if he asked me, no, the women said, all the women calling up and said, when they're not feeling a person, then they feel like they should pay for their own stuff. That's how I men should start. I do think. Whoever, that's the person out technically that's the person who should pay.
That's what I think, and I would. But most men who I know would not allow you to pay for our first date. They'll be like, no, absolutely not, I got it, unless maybe he's not really feeling you. Hey, the better question is who paying for the damn gas? That's the bigger question. Now, what if what if he gets butter and you order three drinks? Is that rude on the first date to just order a whole bunch of stuff, the most expensive things. You out, we out.
We have you to go out. That's courting, geez, he has me to go out. But what's the mold of the story if there's more? I mean, hey, I thought the rule was whoever asked the person out of the person who asked to pay. It's twenty twenty two, so I guess the more of the story is, do you man? I don't know, but you did ask a serious question. What who's playing for the game. That's what we need to be talking about. Okay, that's how you know if you're somebody like you. All Right, I gotta feel up
my gas take to come to you. I even have a take to come to you. All right, Well, we got rules all the way, yes, And let's talk about new music because you know it is Friday, all right. We'll get into that next. Since the Breakfast Club, Good morning, the Breakfast Club. She's filling the team. This is the Rumor Report with Angela Yee on the Breakfast Club. Well it's Friday, so you know what that means. There's some new music out today, all right. Lizzo has a new
single out. It's called About Damn Time. It's her first single since she put out Rumors featuring Cardi B last year, and she also announced that her new album Special is out July fifteen. She's also doing Saturday Night Live this week, untill be both the host and the musical guest. Okay, so here's about Damn Time. Okay, all right, look feel good about Damn Time. And she also sat down with Zane Low and talked about inspiration for that song and
other things. The part of my career that's really hard for me to grasp is accepting that I've done something that's never really happened, or that I was a part of, like a new movement or a wave. But I remember when I put I made a song and it was like I'm in love with myself. I never I was like, you know what, I've never heard anyone say that in a song, so I'm gonna say it. Yeah. And I didn't like just kind of off the cuff, like silly, like funny. But I didn't realize it would start this
whole thing. Like I was watching a commercial and it was these big girls in it and it had nothing to do with being big, and I was like, yeah. She also has her Amazon Prime show I Watch Out For the Big Girls that premiered last night. That's interesting. I never thought about it, at least musically. She probably is the first woman to embrace her waiting that way.
But Monique was the first woman I remember publicly embracing it, you know, back in the day, all right now and mail rappers, male rappers always embraced what about missing now. I think Monique was saying it proudly, like you know, numb a fly, big woman, you know, all right now, Ka Flack and Dougie B. Cardie B has teamed up with them for their new song shit take It, shake It, Shake It, shake it. She getting naked when I try to recommybe you like my Polysanto? I gotta like my Polysanto.
That is just angry, all right. And Trina and Lotto have a song together yet again. You know, bitcham the South remix was my joint and this song is called Clap. She gonna be told to take a bawn what she put on the show when the pitt the pit room blocks to clickup put the pole in the bated all right. Other new music out today, um Te Grizzly has a new project that's available today, and here is Busted all Down.

What's your favorite postle far um when you break down? Not not because I because I agree, No no, no, not because it's such, it's such, it's so vulnerable, you
know what I mean? And I think that that it's something that a lot of men can learn from, because you know, we live in this era where everybody wants to see everybody's highlights, but nobody ever shows anybody the process, so they might look at you and gearing now and be like, oh, you know, it's so amazing, but you know you have to get to this space. To get to this space, Yeah, we have to get to that work.
So what about you, um, First of all, Envy, I did not know all of these things that you've done to get I want to give her a hug. Goodness great that I don't take it like that now. No, I'm just talking about like early on in their relationship, when he was they were kids. They were kids, they were kids, like literal kids, my wife, they were kids that can still be traumatizing. Oh goodness, Grace. I think
it's dope though. I mean, and you know, having an older daughter that you had to explain things too, that's a yeah. Yeah, we'll pick up the book. That had to be the toughest part. All. That's all that's in the book and I can't wait for you guys to read it. But up next, Michelle will was will be

It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, Yeah, it's one of mods. Want to show the Breakfast Club Charlemagne and God Angela y dj Envya is out promoting his book. But we got a special guest here today,
Miss Michelle Williams. Good morning, Good morning Angela, Charlemagne. How is your energy wonderful? It's wonderful because you have told me down. We had to. But because you're in here promoting seven deadly sins, I don't know what you're still holding on too. I was very offended that you did that when out when I walked in my energies, right, but she came in here and broke the mic. So right now, wait a minute, See Angela, the streets be saying you'll be telling on people. She just say I
wronged them. I re checked the cameras because you can't in here the nice but where you're fine. And then all of a sudden, Oh, you've been waiting for this. You've been waiting to say something to me and about me. Wow, it's okay. If there's nothing bad anyone can say about you, think maybe a few exes might can say something you think they would. Yeah, really like what that she has wrath? Well, that is the story. But you are starring in this movie,
Yes it is. It's my first, um film, starring in a film and um the other day I posted that great things Happening at the age of forty two because I used to think a while ago, how come I haven't done film yet? How come I haven't done film yet? And so I'm like, literally just getting started. I've done Broadway, I've done a few TV episodes of sitcoms, but film it's like a new season and a new time for me. So forty two to eighty two, I guess how is
doing films? How is doing film different for you than doing Broadway? And Broadway you get one chance, right, you get But film and television you have grace because you can films. You can film a scene over and over again. They've got to do different angles. You know, you have to keep the same energy in those different angles. But you get more than one chance to get it right. But Broadway is live. I love the live energy of people,
and you you got one chance to get it. You know, you can mess up in Broadway and people might not know, like say that is true. You can improv. You got to be very quick and still make it make sense. Still make your mess up make sense. Now that's the life gym. Make it makes sense. So, yeah, you are right about that. I want to talk about the forty two and how you said you know you couldn't get into film. What do you think the blockage was in your life that you probably cleared out at forty two
that allowed that blessing the flowing. I really did not know about the power of your words, the power of words. Um. I had a friend of mine not too long ago. His name is David em on Eta, and one day he called and said, Hey, I'm tripping because about the word future, the meaning of the word future. I'm like, bro, you almost forty I'm gonna need you to know what the word future means. He asked me, what do you think it means? I said, it means something that's about
to happen, like it's nine o'clock right now. Nine o one is the future. He said, no, no, no, So we looked up. He said, look up the word future, and it means the time or period of time following the moment of speaking or writing. The period of time. Look it up. It's look it up. It means. So I wrote on my board, um, I want to start in and produce TV and film. That was in late twenty twenty. It was twenty twenty one. I got this film Wow, and I have another script as far as
film is concerned. So I think for me the past couple of years, everything that I put my board has pretty much happened. So you never was a vision board person before this. I was. I'm not gonna say I wasn't a vision but I had a vision board in twenty seventeen, and a lot of those things. Some of those things happen. But things that you pray for when they come, you like, I'm not worthy, so you don't steward it, well, you don't. You don't know how to
handle it, or you feel unworthy. So when you don't feel unworthy, you just you push it away and I don't longer do that. You know, you all can say y'all been doing this for years. I've been doing this twenty two years. So there are a few things that I know I do deserve, things that I know I'll work for. So I have to speak it or write it, and in due time those things what happened. So when I learned the power of my words, even the there are things that happened that I spoke negative about, and
those things happen. Right. What us is ironic is that when you were younger, you wanted to be a lawyer, and now you're playing a lawyer. I am playing the lawyer. Come on, um, that is true. Um, I wanted to be a prosecuting attorney or a forensic psychiatrist. Why what planed? Um? Well, my daddy told me that I talked too much and that I need to be a lawyer. My English teacher
called my mama every day because I would not shut up. Um. But I saw the movie Kiss the Girls with Morgan Freeman, and even at that time, I was always intrigued about the mind of people and why they do what they do. Like him, Like, he's sitting there like looking at me, and I'm wondering what is going through his mind? How is he processing? And I don't mean what is he looking at? What you're looking at? Like? What is he seeing? What is he thinking? I'd like to, um, see, that's
a promised problem I'm seeing. I like to tear goud. I'd like to get to the core of things, layer by layer, peel the onion back to see why people do what they do. What's that thing in the court that I can't pronounce? This definess? And the synographer, the stenographer, that's what he would reporter, Yes, keeping notes And you know you can't cheat on a forensic psychiatrist. You cannot. And man, you you can't cheat on somebody who has a different level of is the word discernment, I'm gonna
feel it before you say it. I'm gonna feel it probably before you even do it. I know what you that's a better word to use than crazy. Like you know, she's crazy, so you can't discernment. Discernment, um discernment, don't do crazy. But now you know how in the relationships they'll say, like the dude to be like, man, she's crazy, No, she she does actually psychic, she's cloy she's yeah, she's on, she's onto you, and um yeah, get yourself together, get
it right. How was it for you working with Bishop td Jakes? Was teina lost and people that you're comfortable with in real life from discern a movie for the first time and have that family around you, Bishop Jakes, I read the script, and I was like, did he read the same script that I read? Because there's some action that says writhing in sheets rithing means tussling, writhing, honey riding. But that's when you if if you believe that foregnication is a sin, then you know that before
you know it, it creeps in and it takes over. Right. Um. And I say that because some people don't think that it is sex before marriage is not a sin. Um. Working with Miss Tina was like safety came on setup, you know, a parental figure came on set. She's supposed to be in the scene acting, but she's running over to me fixing flyaways because that's that's what she's would
do with us on the road. And um, there were parts in the script where Miss Tina would say, in real life, I don't know, Michelle, you need to pray about that. I don't know, Michelle, put your sword down, stop fighting stop you know, so this is real life and um, those scenes were pretty powerful with her. Well Michelle has to go.
