Oh? I got my lip service live tonight to Caroline's Nice So I'm excited about that. But you know, it's a lot of work and effort that goes into putting something like this on. So it's a lot going on today. Never did a show. This is your first time at

Caroline Yeah, last time. I did a couple of times in highline ballroom and I go to Caroline's all the time, but this is my first time actually doing lift service at Caroline. But it is one of my favorite venues to go to a New York It's the type of place I go to even when I don't have to be there for any particular reason, just because they have the best comedians come through with Caroline. Caroline is a comedy club or here in New York City for everybody

listening to us throughout the rest of the country. We have a lot of comics up here that are gonna like that. All right, Carolines for the weekend. I believe how Hi Davis is coming up here and he'll be at Carolines this weekend also, and he'll be on my live show as well. Okay, all right, well that happens tonight. What time? What time tonight? Seven thirty tonight, and you can go to Carolines dot com and get tickets. It's your last chance to come hang out with us, all right.

I'm just happy that Revolt cameras on here today because I just pulled out so much crust out of my eye and I don't know why. I know, I took a shower. You took a shower. Nobody wanted to watch your face. Nobody watched your face better than me. I got I got some of the best holistic skincare products courtesy and doctor Natasha Sandy. And I just had a chemical peal last week too, so I'm in my post peal week. So my face is sparkling right now. But whatever, I'm going out a bunch of crust out of my

left eye. It happened sometimes. Well, Juvenile will be joining us, I'll bet. I don't know if today is the exact day, but this year is the twentieth anniversary of the Negro Spiritual called back that Ass. Yes it is Okay, that song that all your aunts and aunties turned up to it the wedding reception, that that record okay taking over the nine nine and two thousands, that one that that Negro Spiritual has been bringing us a joy for twenty plus years. So join your aunts and uncles this morning

as we celebrate that monument its occasion with Juvenile. It was just his birthday two days ago. Yeah, shout out to Julia. I was one of the first DJs to play his records on the East. I mean it was the High remix though with Jay and I played a High by itself. And because of that, Julie, anything that I ever asked you before, he always came through, whether it was the club, whether when I was working on the album, when I was whatever it was, he always

came through. He always remembered that. So, you know, people used to think that jay z verse was whack. We talked about that during an interview. Like a lot of people, especially in the New Orleans area and even down south, they thought that jay Z's verse was actually whack, Like it's really we've debated now to this day if that verse was dope. N tell you all about I actually enjoy the verse personally. Yeah, we're gonna do a juvenile mini mix. If you haven't heard that verse, We're gonna

play that that high remix in the mini mixer. We'll get that on, all right. And then we got from patients what we're talking about? Well, did anybody in here win the Powerball? I forgot to play because somebody did? Well, I tell you all about it. You just blew it, just gave the lead, and you've been giving away things that are about to happen. Damn, Oh my goodness. All right. Well, last next keeping spoiler alert, it's the Breakfast Club Corningprice.

Every other night another movie came. Yeah, that nonsense. If you want to leave that b after if you want to, don't wake up leaving the booboo. All right, good morning, Top of the Morning, to your morning. Everybody's DJ Envy, Angela, Guee, Charlomagne, the Guide. We are the breakfast Club. Have a little tickle in my throat? Really, y'all play too. I've been dealing with like like flu like symptoms all week long, you know what I'm saying. But oh, y'all, don't get

me sick in here. Now you've been sick for three weeks three please, well, let's get in some front page news. What are we talking about? Easy? The powerball Jack Pott seven hundred and sixty eight million dollars. This is a single ticket winner. That person is in Wisconsin. So unless you're in Wisconsin, you are not the winner. All right,

So it was one single ticket, soul. Now you have the cash option of four hundred and seventy seven million dollars, or you have the choice of an estimated UH seven hundred and sixty eight point four million dollars payout and thirty payments over twenty nine years. So let me that we get that lump sum. Let me ask you as a question, yea I haven't been in Wisconsin. Come on, we got a stupid question, is that you've been to Wisconsin. I've been to Wisconsin. Milwaukee is the first station that

syndicated the breakfast Club. Okay, smutha vie one hundred Milwaukee. What up? I've got all about you know what I'm saying. Forget about I don't know. I've got on about Milwaukee. How many times we've been in I love Milwaukee. I've been the whole week, and I've been at it. I've been in Madison, Wisconsin. Took besides Milwaukee. I'm trying took one else about been there besides. But you did a whole you did like a whole month. I did a week out there when I shot a catfish back in

catfish stayed in a hunted hotel. Well, if you're in Wisconsin, try to find this person and hope that they're a family number. All right. If you in Wisconsin, try to find this person, and if don't get pregnant from them, Oh my goodness. All right. Now, women in San Diego, since we're talking about pregnancy, finally got her child support payment from her ex husband. You know how long it took for her to get her payment. Hello fifty years she got seventy four years old. Well, he owes my yeah.

I mean it wasn't even a lot of money that he had to pay in child support. First he had to pay two hundred and ten dollars a month for the first two and a half years, and then it dropped down to one hundred and sixty dollars a month until their child turned eighteen. And guess how much he paid Never, I guess, I guess it's never too yeah, you owe the money, never too late to not be a deadbeat, you know. And she was basically living check to check, and she said, you also have a lot

of abandonment issues. She had to raise her child herself. They were married for two years and they had a three year old daughter, and he just never paid any child support at all. And then he went to Canada with his girlfriend, had two more kids, and just completely disappeared. She had googled his name, found photos of him living a pretty great life with a big house, he has a boat, all of those things, but just never paid

child support. Now, now she's finally gotten the one hundred and fifty thousand dollars altogether that he owes her that also has a ten percent interest rate. First of all, how do you think I can afford this boat? I afford this boat by not being a child support after fifty years, that's grand child can't pay hundred and ten dollars move to Canada. So I don't know, but I think that's crazy for your own child, that you don't take care of your kid at all and you can't

even pay two hundred dollars a month. Oh, we don't know. If he didn't take care of the kid. He wasn't. She hadn't seen him at all. Yeah, but I mean if he disappeared, how can you take around he didn't take care of this kid. Maybe it wasn't his. Have we thought about that? Well, they were married and they had a kid, and he claimed his kid and he had to pay child support. So now he's actually paying

that all right? And sad story of South Carolina fifth grader who got injured when a fight broke out in her classroom actually ended up passing away. Rhani are right, So rest in peace to RHENI are right, and our condolences to your family. They said she was a wonderful student. She loved to write, spend time with her friends. She played basketball, She was a big sister, very actively involved

in her church. He was a junior usher there. They said there was an incident and she was found unconscious in the schools the school nurses station, and right now they are going to perform an autopsy to find out what happened. Yeah, just un up with my cousin Kent, he's a police officer in Charles. To syclin, I'm just trying to figure this situation out because you know, you hear about scuffles and fights in schools, But how do it a fifth grade of gett into a fight and

end up dad air lifted to the hospital. Like, I mean, it could be anything. It could be somebody swung, she tripped, she hit her head, She was unconscious, so yeah she could have hit him. Sure she hit a head somehow, some way. She died two days after suffering from those injuries. Yeah, they gotta go fund me for the young lady for the funeral. By the way, if anybody that wants to contribute to that, well let's make sure we post that

go fund me so people can see it. Her name. Actually, right, Ranw're right, yes, says when I are right, All right, my ladders, front page News. She could have sent you a neked picture to about what do you think she respects me? I know she respects me, so

it's not a problem. Okay, But then I get it, says comment, Oh my god, oh some music? You know what you think? Okay? Now, I'm a writer. I sent it to you, your blind beauty, just tell me what you think. I got it? Um, yeah in the mix, envy, I don't even know what it is? Okay, Okay? Who did that beat? Too much in common? Okay, blind beauty, Okay, I could get jiggy to this. It sounds good. That sounds like the merybody doing on the radio nowadays. You know you have to have something that I got a

little plate that might have sounds pretty good. That's pretty nice. Guy who did that? Be who produced that? Um? His name is Mantro. Okay, where are you from him? Sure? I'm not sure? Telling me he's done different beats for future and a lot of different people. Did you pay for that beat or did you get it online? I did pay for the b I um contacting to see like with like pricing for because that one is the least. But of course if that goes to me stream on the radio, he's going to sell it to me for

like a crazy amount. But that's okay, Well, good luck, Black Beauty. That one right there sounds good. I don't hear the other two, but that one right there sound good. Well, he'll listen. I mean, she could I know that, But Joe, sometimes you can make a lot of quick money just selling those songs that's don't record you got right there. Why hold on to it and wait for wait to get your big ripe when you can just

sell it to somebody who's already popping. Absolutely, yeah, I definitely I have stuff that like, because every when you write, every soon is not for you, you right? You know when you kill him that that record is due. I hit the other two yet, but that one was sound dope. Thank you. I love you guys with the compliments this morning. Hello, who's this? Hey? Patrick? Getting off your chests. First off, I just want to say, I'll listen to you guys

all the time, and I appreciate everything I'll do. Y'all. Had a lady that called in like last Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, I can't remember, and she was talking about how these dads don't never do nothing for their kids. I am one of those dads that I do as much as I can. I think I do a great job as a father for my son. I coaches basketball team, as baseball team. I get him ready for school for the next day. I make sure he's got a shower. I cook, I clean, I take care of the house. I do

all that stuff. And I don't think it's fair that she because she had a bad experience, a few singles out men and say that we don't do enough or whatever. We do what we think is enough, and we try to make sure that they're taking care of all our kids are taking care of regard if it's as a boy or a girl or whatever. We do try our best. It might not be right in her eyes or whatever, but some men do do do what has to be done.

Ry she just had a bad experience herself. Yeah, and I don't think that's you know, if you have a bad experience, then just say you had a bad experience. Don't try to sing out all man because that ain't right, because there are good dads out there that listen. It's definitely a variety of all of those things. We just did the story about a guy who never paid child support in his life. But you're a good brother man, Well thank you, man t care. I would say, keep

taking care of your kids. But that's that's what you got your job, that's your responsibility than what you're supposed to do being a father. I don't like applauding people for doing what the hell they're supposed to do. Get it off your chests. Eight hundred five eight five one on five one. If you need to hit us up right now, it's the breakfast club. Good morning, the breakfast club, wake up, wake up, walls your time to get it off your chest because your man or blessed, we want

to hear from you on a breakfast club. Hello, who's this man? It's TJ TJ. What up, brother, get it off your chess man, Man, I just wanted to try to pay for my niece. Man, it's the first time me watching her for the week, and uh she was the fever ain't now I mean it. We'll definitely pray for she. How did you take it to the hospital to the doctors. Yeah, she's been to the hospital today, but uh, let me. She sleeps chilling, but she you know, says she lotts some stuff. You know what I'm saying,

A little what she a little soldier? A little Soldier's her temperature right now? I mean, uncle, but she she's just like running hot and sam, but you should check to see what her temperature is. Bro, Yeah, I thought she was about to tell us you wanted to pray for her because you're a terrible babysitter. Now you should. You should check her temperature. Me, she'd keep a cold rag, my first time, keep a cold rag on her forehead. And how old is she? Man? She three years old,

all right, and she can take some talent off. She needs to break that fever. But definitely keep an eye on her brother while she's staying with you. While you staying on me. She staying on me because, uh man, some things going on. So it's cool. You know what I'm saying, You don't want to tell you take care of his knees. Brother, Let me handle his business. It

was saying, my nieces, damn solid. Well, first of all, I hang up the goddamn phone and go check on your knees and make sure she ain't got a hot fever. That's right, might had a pneumonia. Hello, who's this? What's going on? And start from Jersey ty, what's up? Broking him off her chest? Time. I want to say, well, good morning to everybody up there. I want to say worst and peace to that young brother in North Carolina who the cops claim he committed suicide. Yeah I heard

that story. Yeah, we all know that didn't happen. Man. It's kind of it's become him like deja vu every other month. You know what I'm saying. I was just talking to my son who's seventeen, and I was telling him, like my anxiety every time he walked on my door, I get scared. Yeah, I mean I have that anxiety for for a year and a half down the line, when my daughter got to go to college, I'm having anxiety now just hearing everything that's going on and seeing

everything that's going on. That's so scary. And if you don't know the story, the young brother was a trucker and they found him, I guess, on the side of the road, and they said he committed suicide, but everybody thinks he was He possibly could have been lynched or something like he was hungry. They found him hung in his truck, hung in his truck, so they believe he was. Listen, didn't believe he committed suicide. They said he had everything going there was no stress. See at a family, it

was like there was no signs a reason for doing that. No, here's the thing I keep trying to tell y'all, man, and I'm not I'm not ruling out foul play at all. But we also can't rule out the fact that a lot of us are dealing with some serious mental health issues. And as much as we think we know what's going on in people's minds, we don't a lot of these people that we think got it all together are really suffering when they're alone. So you know what I'm saying,

We can't rule that out either. We can't just be so quick to point and say, hey, it could be an active file play when truth to the matter is it could be some type of mental health issue, right, I get you all. It's just it's just sad though, like especially with me by something like and we said something about to graduate high school to shit and anytime he'ple out with his friends and come back in the house, I worry. I'll call him NonStop. I texted you good,

you are too Oh you're too You're too protective. I'm like, yo, yeah, I don't understand like today's society, you have to be like that. You know what you need to do. Though, Watch the ID channel with your son. The I D channel has all types of craziness that are scared of issue out of you him. So you want to you just want to give him in the sun more anxiety. Yeah, I mean, well that you understand that when he understands what's going on. Nah, but that's where you can see that.

You know, other kids are getting hurt, killed, and people are getting shot and stabbed. You can hand them a newspaper, okay, you can tell them I'm listening to front page news anytime on the breakfast or that you can do that took America's America's specialized in fright even works now, Bro, that might invalue mery. I gotta go, great job. What school is he going tood morning? What school is he going to? You're going to do? Okay? Or congratulations? Brother?

You play basketball? Yeah, that's amazing? All right, well congratulations, all right, thank you, you have a good morning. Get it off your chests. Eight hundred five eight five one or five one. If you need to vent, you can hit this up now. We got rumors on the way, yes, but give you an update on what's going on with Wendy Williams. Looks like she's gonna have to take a little break, you think. All right, we'll get into all that happy now. Calvin you basted you Kelvin, you're talking

of Calvin Hunter. Get it off your chests. Rumors up next, Juvenile, next hour. A lot going on. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. This is the Ruble Report with angela year Breakfast. Are you Ready for Sex? And the City? Follow up? Now it's called is There Still Sex in the City. That's candas Bushnell's upcoming book, and

they're also developing developing it as a TV series. It's gonna focus on dating, sex and friendship in New York City after fifty more Sex in the City spin off stuff. And we can't even get a girlfriend's movie. Can get one girlfriend's movie, Go friend. But I ain't gonna lie. I love too, I ain't never been in the Sex and the City. Never Sex and the City is an excellently written show and a lot of things that people can relate to you at Tony maya baby, so yes,

and they said at once. According to Candice, she said, at one time, fifty something mean at the beginning of retirement, working less, spending more time on your hobbies with your friends who look like you, were sliding into a much more leisurely lifestyle In short retirement age folks weren't meant to do much of anything but get older and a bit heavier. They weren't expected to exercise, start new business benches, moved to a different state, have casual sex with strangers,

and start all over again. But this is exactly what the lives of a lot of fifty and sixty something women look like today, and I'm thrilled to be reflecting the complexity of their reality on the page and now on the screen. Yeah, that's cool, but I just hate how they can always open up a budget for some sex in the city stuff. We can't open up a budget for a girlfriend's movie. I need closure, all right. Well,

you know that's how Myra Bracket killed too. She has a certain amount of money that she says she wants to get in order to be able to do it, and hopefully it will get done at some point, all right. Nick Cannon presents Wilding Out got a ninety episode renewal. Wow, drop a good buff form, Nick Cannon. So the thirteenth season premiere is happening this summer, but it's going to

be extended through sixteen seasons. Baby. Yes, his show is doing extremely well, with the number one cable series last year on Friday nights with men twelve to twenty four and eighteen to twenty four as well, and they also have strong growth in the digital arena, specifically on YouTube. They're actually the number one hip hop entertainment channel on YouTube with four point two million subscribers. That's big bank.

I hope Nick Cannon is breaking off them young boys. Accordingly, the Chico Beans to Carlos Millers, the DC Young Flies. They gave that show a whole new life. Okay, they do it a live show, that live show every every time they go tells out after that, that's the eighty five South show. Though, eighty five South to their own lot. They own show. They got a podcasts show, different different dame popping like eighty five show the Arenus. They set

Arenus popping. It's a big deal eighty five. I'm gonna see them in two weeks in a right congratulations Now, Wendy Williams says she's taking a break from her show. It was a planned break. Here what you had to say during her Wendy Show. We have a planned breaker coming up next week. I know what the planned though, but we're back with live shows on April eighth. Go to Wendy Show dot com because the tickets are free and I would love for you to be one of my co hosts. Okay, okay, how do you know a

preplan break that none of your staff knew about? And tell yesterday a preplan break that conveniently comes after reports you being found drunk because Calvin and Sherena aka Nikki allegedlie had a baby come on her husband. Well good right, and she said when you've been with somebody twenty eight years, married for twenty five. We know each other. He's my best friend, he's my lover, He's all this, and he's all. She said that a couple weeks ago. Yeah, yeah, she's

bringing that back up. So she is still wearing her rings, she's still being seen out in a boat with her husband Kevin. Now here's what she said when TMZ approached her to ask about what's going on. How are you feeling one day? Aren't so wonderful? I just came from Heliates. How are you doing plans with the ring today? We have a wonderful guy. We see the ring. See. How did it feel to address your viewers and fans today? One needed to feel good getting something off your chest.

Will you be seeing the baby Wendy and as foul? Come on? That hurt me. That's a great question. Come on, I just know it's to be suffering. Man. It's twenty nineteen. We are in the age of transparency. We can see through all the Nazis. We can like you said, she's suffering. We can see she's in a terrible place physically, emotionally, mentally, and it's all because of that mass abusive fifty year old hype beasts husband. I heard well, her and Kevin

Hunter were spot talking about in New York City. And here's what happened when the paparazzi spotted them together. Do you lead the baby still together? I thought you're gonna leaven. Mind your business, that's what you say. Yes, do y'all mind people business. Y'all have made a living for years minding other people's business. Don't do that. Calvin, Calvin, Calvin, fifty years old and he out here with a scully on. It looks like a big ass website head of a babe.

But do you have one yesterday? A big ass babe scully? Listen, instead of spending all that money on babe and supreme Calvin, please please buy Wendy and new coat. All right? You see? TMZ asked if she has another coat besides the man Claire Cheetah. Shut up. I hate you, I hate you. I want to buy that coat. I know, I say that all the time. Listen. I bet Serena, I bet his mistress don't wear the same coat every day, all right? See okay? And you can't be seen in the cheetah

print coat. Over and over when your husband is a man who cheats over and over. Cheetah, cheetah. You get it. I know I'm just saying stupid God, I mean Angela yea, and everybody needs to not get the hell. I think you need to go see a therapist today. Bro, I'm going to theatermorrow. I think you need the early session. All right. Well that was the angela year that's been with that. You have to go see a lot of therapy.

H want to hug bro. That was and c with the T all right, all right, well we got from anos next what we're talking about. Yes, that's like about Corey Booker and his town hall. Will give you some takeaways from what happened at that town hall. All right, we'll get into that next. Keep a locked just to Breakfast Club. Good morning the Breakfast Club. Your mornings will never be the same. If you could have any superpower, what would it be? On April fifth, just say the

words Shazam and you'll find out. Shazam is the ultimate wish fulfillment move me about a kid named Billy Batson who transforms into a superhero with just one word Chizam. In theaters April fifth morning, everybody is dj Envy angela Ye, Charlomagne the God. We are the breakfast club. Let's get in some front page where we stay. Well, let's talk

about Corey Booker. He had his town hall last night and a lot of things that he talked about, including him saying that he can defeat Donald Trump in twenty twenty and not have to resort to the Republicans tactics. He also talked about gun laws. I am frustrated with politicians who all the best they can muster is to give thoughts and prayers. Gun owners and non gun owners agree that we need to have universal backgrounds and close

so many of these loopholes. If I am your president, we are going to bring the fight to the NRA, who wants to represent corporate gun owners, corporate gun corporations, manufacturers more than they want to represent the people, because this is what they're doing to Americans. They were defending loopholes. Other things that he discussed was the Robert Mueller investigation,

LGBTQ rights faith. He talked about Jesse Smalett. He was questioned about that and so that he needed to get all the details and he's sure it's all going to come out. He was also questioned about reparations, and here's what he had to say. How only do I sup order, but I have legislation that actually does it. In fact, I've got the only legislation I think in the entire Congress that Columbia University says would virtually eliminate the racial

wealth gap in our country. It's something called baby bonds, which means that every child born in America would get a bond when their birth two thousand dollars placed in it, and during the time every year of their life, depending on their family's income, they would have more money placed

in it. The lowest income Americans by the time they reach eighteen years old would have upwards of fifty thousand dollars real wealth, a stake in our economy to invest in going to school or education, starting a business, buying a homepation. How does that help black people if he had everybody, That's not what reparations is. Car It's not

about you know, the poor and disenfranchise. It's about doing something specifically for the African descendants of slaves, you know, those people who went through slavery in this country and Jim Crow segregation and massive carperation. It was a specific set. It has nothing to do with specific set of systemic circumstances that happen to black people. So it's going to take a specific set of circumstances to get black people out of the situation that they were put in. They

were systemically put in that situation. You have to be systemically taken out. And he said, every baby, he's still hitting us with that, you know, arriving people lift fall boats rhetoric, not when black people's boat got a hole in it. Yeah, okay, Now let's talk about since we're talking about money. The powerball jackpot seven hundred and sixty eight million dollar jackpot does have a winner. That person it's from Wisconsin. It's a Wisconsin resident who got all

the winning numbers. It was one single ticket sold. I don't know if it's a group of people that won, because you know how sometimes you have the office pool or just an individual. But we do know it was one single ticket that was sold. Now you have the option of a cash option of four hundred seventy seven million dollars. You can just cash out that's before taxes, or you can take that seven hundred sixty eight point four million and get twenty nine years of payment. I

woke up this morning, I saw it. I went back down to forty million. I said, damn, I forgot to play. So I went to go check the powerball numbers to make sure that it wasn't my usual numbers. Did I play? Was it? No? That don't hurt. You know, I got one set of numbers that I played all the time. So if you forget to play and then those numbers pop up, you'd be like damn. But then when I looked and I saw they weren't my numbers, I felt

a little better. But then I said to myself, damn, it could have been the luck of the draw, could been a quick pick. Those could have been the numbers that I got in the quick picks. I was like, damn. And then I just said, you know, God, God blessed the person in Wisconsin who won. All right, Well you can't wait to see when that person God bless him. And that's front page news. All right? When we come back and throw back Thursday, Yes it is. Let me

tell you something. Back this year is the twenty year anniversary of juveniles back that ass up. So I want you to join all your aunt and aunties just warning on the Breakfast Club as we celebrate this monumented occasion with the man himself. All right, juvenile when we come back, don't move is throw back Thursday as the Breakfast Club.

Good morning. So just celebrated the birthday. By the way, I'm squeezing this limit and then trying to get trying to kind of sat you know, trying to salvage my voice. How you feel good? You don't look no older, you don't look that man that stay many life. You know it's good though, because you got the new album? Yeah yeah, yeah,

why now? Why this project? Now? I think it was time me and them never worked together, you know, and then our friendship, you know, we really build our friendship back up over the last couple of years, hanging and stuff. So I think I just felt like it was time. Then I've been away for a minute. I ain't gonna come back out straight up with me with a solo album,

and I need to get my feet wet first. How do you avoid like not being in the same situations you was in in the past, because like, you know, like the money, financial situations with cash money, I mean I've done things where there financial I'm good. You know, I made a few moves, you know, I really don't even I don't brag about what I do outside of the music business, but I'm doing a few things outside of the music business to stay stable. But not just that.

I stayed busy. When it comes down and being booked, I'm one of the few cats who stay booked all the time. Right back that twenty years old this h Yeah, I'm gonna keep you know, if they're crais enough to keep booking its pennybody that comes seeing, I'm gonna keep growing it up. They I ain't gonna never stop showing them. Did you think that record would be so timeless when

you first recorded it? Nah? I mean behind this man, when you make songs like that and they blew up and they get that big, I don't think as all as I that I could say they knew it, and I could try to do stuff that goes viral, you could try to do stuff that's timeless, but the people really make that decision. Yeah, you know, I mean, and it's one of them songs that they play at waiting receptions,

you know. And I think when when it got to that point and I heard old people say I like to dance to this, and you know, when it got to that point, I felt like, you know, hey, I think I really made one. I heard you didn't want to make that record originally though, nah, because and you know why, because I can't from that kind of music. You know, the bounce music was she and She'll tell That's pretty much the whole scene in New Orleans. And I just didn't want to get sucked in like everybody else.

So I was trying to avoid that as much as possible. Somebody, it was gonna be local if you did it. I really my intentions was to do when we when we originally done it, that's what it was for New Orleans, but it went somewhere else. So now, you know, it got to the point to where I got to feed everybody with the same kind of music, and it's kind of hard to make another back then. It's impossible for me. Yeah,

it's authentic though, to represent where you're from. And you hear people trying to take that sound now and other types of music, and you're like, all right, well this called me and let me get a check. Man. I'll be okay with but if you don't put me on the song, I'm definitely gonna dish you. I mean, but if you, if you, if you make a New Orleans Bound song and you don't use my version, you know I don't get nothing for that. I know you've seen all the memes of everyone running to the damn flowing

back to the athlete. I saw Chris Brown. They had something on the internet with Chris Brown concert before he y'at on stage. It was all like all women. I don't know what arena it was, and they played it. It was going on for that song, harder than he did when he actually got on stage and perform. It was going in. But I'm talking about all off the balgamy. Like I said, what the reaction of it get older? You though? No, no, when it gets no, when it it gets funny. When I see somebody up in age

do it? You know that big old thing, do your thing? Man? We up in age? So mat No, I'm talking about sixty one, yeah, out of hand him like that. I mean, Paddy la Belle told me this is this song is like inspiration. She like working out to it. I'm saying, that's how she came up with Patty's Pies. Well, you know what Paddy bagging up down. We don't have something to my top five Paddy the bell? Yeah, Patty back up on you can you grind on it? No? No, man,

what is she doing? Y'all fall into this because Patty Son already had to check out the man. You're back out of here, you calling son. You see, man, I ain't do nothing while man, I love your mom. Man body serial or something else, stay on his good side. Hold on now. If you're at the concert, say Angela Baskett and Patty Labella back to that as the basket. I'm married, man, but don't do that. I'm married to But I just I'm just saying, Angela basket. You're pushing

me in a corner. Man back that as drop right there. Man, keep that little you gotta keep that space. I've got to do with them all man, contact between. Just's got to be a little space in between. I was arguing with somebody from New Orleans, aarguing my man Van. He from New Orleans. I was arguing him about jay Z's verse on High because he said, in New Orleans everybody was like, man, this is white man like dog. They

like they I don't know what it was. It was the Tupac you know, Tupac kind of made people in New Orleans now like jay Z and Jayson Ain't did nobody nothing. You know, I was a jay Z fan, but when Tupac made all these dishes and stuff towards everybody felt like they had to choose. And you're like, you got pock Riders everywhere, So all the pop New Orleans full of pock Riders, they weren't gonna listen to jay Z oh that wanted? Did he do that himself? Did he reach out to He did it on his own.

When you heard it, like everybody else heard it like everybody else really and then you know, of course you being so sleek with their business, they hurry up and put the remix on the album, add a couple of songs, took one off and made it, put it on the album, and like a self star. But where was you when you heard it for the first time? Probably had cash Monday office, Probably at the office when they first played it to him. And I'm like what because you know

I was the real jay Z fan. Me and man Wayne, we was listening to jay Z hard. Everybody else wasn't. They said, you're gonna flip out when you see what happened when you hit this and he turned in on He said, you liked the verse, jay Z. I don't care about what he said. I like, I liked it too. When I was saying, you know, when I first heard it the first time I heard it, I didn't care

what he said. I really didn't. I'm like, I was excited by the other fact that somebody that I really liked did a song with me, you know, and then I felt like, now I can go to New York and get that that real love. Because I was coming up here and he was like, we liked the song. When you're gonna do, You're gonna do something else. You know, it was high and that was it. Matter of fact. When I came up here to the tunnel, Flex told me,

well not Flex. One of the guys back. They said, look, if you know what I'm saying, just hi, only they're gonna boo you. I'm like, I'm telling you saying that one song I saw something how three times I rocked the crowd three times? Three times? All right? We got more with juvenile High when we come back. Matter of fact, let's getting into a mini mix. It's the Breakfast Clokal Morning that was a juvenile mini mix Morning Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne the Guy. We all the

breakfast club juveniles here ye. So now let's fast forward to this album that you and berry Man put together. So how did it even come about? Like, how did the conversation start? What made y'all decide to do this? How long did it take? Really? Like I want to say two weeks in the conversation, it really wasn't a conversation. I said, man, let's do a mixtape, you know, And after we got to like song number four, start listening to it, like, look, bro, we could keep doing songs

like this. We got a sound. We could do an album, and I really think we could do a hell of an album because people, it's just gonna be so unexpected, Like we just popped up on y'all with a single, and all of a sudden we got the album coming out. I think it's just it's shocking to everybody because they didn't think me, of all people, would be doing an album with Berdman. Ain't people don't think we ever made friends.

So that's weird, right, money many times the interviews you said, y'all cool people still don't nobody want to accept the last time I came here, I'm we cool, I'm not tripping on want to come up here with you? Why you look at me? I saw that cut it out jokes. No, I think he does want to come back up here. For what I've heard, I wish you would have came. It would have been great y'all doing any promo together. I mean, I'm going to meet with him in the

next hour. Song, So he's here. He didn't want he's here. He's definitely here. I mean my birthday was last Yeah, it would have been real strange if he wouldn't have been that. Yeah, they had a few things, simm I didn't see no features on the project, but that on purpose. Now I'm selfish, bro. Yeah, I don't heard enough of these about you on the album. You know what he mad about? Now? Now? Now he recorded a couple songs. I just don't know if I don't know if they

felt them like you know what I'm saying. I don't know if they they liked them. You know what I'm saying, Who is they? If you don't he heard them, it's you. It's slim and be and whoever make the choices on you know, slim be probably the rock. Yeah, how's your lyrical content change as you as you'm on my basse bro, That's one thing I really ain't. I take pride in the lyrics, a lyrical content. So I'm a bass But what do you talk about though? Like the same way,

like your your circle changes? Yeah, just grown grown man. But I'm still I still. I'll still give you stories. I like telling stories and scenarios that happened in my life. I'm like telling stories. Do you have a question any of your old lyrics, especially in this area? You'd be like, I don't know if I should say that now exactly. I mean I couldn't have two songs on four hundred degrees. I don't think I could. If I was writing a song right now, I don't think I would go that direction,

because that's not when I'm mad in life. On Julie on Fire, you said, if I'm in the room with a bitch and the like a man, I'm my meet and get money. Yeah, and ain't happening right, Keep looking outside because she can't hear you. She gonna hear, trust me, So you walk out here soon as y'all posted to do anything. She don't know. No, that lyric comes up so much like when brothers be sitting around and we'll

be questioning. Like old we used to hear that Mayor raised man he said, you know, I'm gonna tell you what I man, he said, he just getting the coat and turned that on. Just look at them, you know what's happening, like keep repeating it like right now, we don't lie. That still the only point. Baby God. Are you guys gonna go on tour for the album? Oh? Definitely, definitely. I'm trying to cancel some stuff now because man, missing Live Nation. I'm like Live Nation or so we're gonna

be getting them kind of checks. Let me go on cancel some of these shows now, I ain't canceling, but yeah, we're going on tour though. Speaking of touring, you have some other tours that you're on as well. Yeah, Legends of Southern hip Hop. That's one to another. When it's a Legends of hip hop. So it's we na the insutware. So who's who's on it? Me eight, Baul, m j G, Too Short, Trina, DJ Quick. I can't think that's what you're seeing all them think as old the women that exactly, Yeah, exactly,

that rough Rider to Man. That's I feel like that should have been It should have been a documentary made about that tour. Yeah, because it was real. I mean, you know, it's crazy. It was successful to it when we actually did the shows. But you know, after the Boston thing, they canceled like all all the shows of the West Coast, so we didn't ever make it to the West Coast with that tour. It's just one video

they always showed from that show. Y'all was calling women on stage and they always talk you know what I'm talking about, like I messed with men too or something like that. Oh no, I don't remember that right now. I ain't gonna never agree that I heard something that you probably heard something and though you thought I was talking about video, I'm gonna show it to you. Yeah, y'all come up here, cool like that, but that I'm just asking. That's how we talking to one in the week.

Our thing is you we talked that. We've been talking like that. So did you try to you tried it, It didn't it, It didn't work. This is the beauty of the interview for sure. Urban legends that are going on now next time. We don't get a chance. You didn't stick around. It's all love. I'm here, I remember that. I can't remember none of them. If you want to show me this night, I'm looking at them. Where does he come from? Because I've been looking for that piece

for a log, for real chat. It's probably I probably got this story somewhere, my man, Juvenile, the album is out right now. Just another gangster, just another game. I don't Friday, right, yeah, Friday, Yeah, it's a breakfast club dropping a clues bomb for all the aunt and aunties who enjoyed that Juvenile interviewing that mini mix. They love

that mini mix, but they were dropping it. I called my wife to, you know, tell my daughter I love it on the way to school, and she was she was singing, and I said, told my daughter, I said, what was your mom doing just now? She was like dancing like she wasn't supposed to. Whoa, hey my mother right to all right, all right, the morning everybody. It's DJ M v Angela, yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the breakfast club. What's happening now? Um shout to all

the troops out there. You know this Friday, I'm actually going to barn It's a Barana Barrain. How do you pronounce it? I think it's Barrain Barrain If I'm not miss know what that is. It's in the Middle East, so there's a's the A h R A. I N Yes, I'm heading to Barrain for the troops that you know they're doing. You know they have shows and parties. So are you hustling? Ask Negro? But I swear to god, I was just good. Just headed to the Middle East for a day. Probably I'm actually in the air longer

than I'm actually all you did a hustland, ask Negro. Boy, my god, But you know I'm going out there for the troops, so I'm excited about that. It's the first time there. I don't know what to expect. But they said it's supposed to be very very nice, very beautiful. They said there's a lot of US troops there. So I goes there and supports the troops. They listened every morning. We're supposed to. The reference club is on the Armed Forces Network. We're in one hundred and because of the

Armed Forces Network, you know who, it's just numbers. So shout out to all the troops out there. Man, We really appreciate you guys, and I'll be out there this Friday. Okay, Now we got rooms announced that, right, and I also have my Lip Service live show tonight, which I'm super excited about. Now you got a bunch of special guests, right, Well, yes, so we do have how High Davis coming and he's going to be at the Comedy Club all weekend. And

I'm trying to get the pronunciation of Barrain. Okay, it's a brain of Baron. I turned it off because we were talking. But you know how High Davis is from Detroit. So I do have an artist from Detroit that's gonna pull up on him as a lifeline. I'm not going to say who it is yet. Well, I swear Vessel, I'll tell you he's in town. Yeah, he's in town. He's coming through. What Up Dough? What Up Dough? And then we got Vonda Carlo is going to be there as well. Also, I see Nia Niche and shout out

to my girl Nisha. And then Jessica do Part you know her as the real baby Judy, Yes, from Kaliscope, she'll be there as well. And Mellie, Okay, we'll be popping. It's gonna be really funny, and there's gonna be some more surprises, so make sure y'all don't miss out. Meek Mill called Mellie Lane yesterday on social media. They called it lamee. Yeah for what. I don't know. That's why I'm asking. She's on tour with him. I didn't see that. Oh okay, he's starting some stuff. I'm not I saw

it on social media. Yes, all right, Well, more rooms with Charlomagne when we come back. Keep with the tea, baby, see to the tea. I hate him, whattage. I hate Charlemagne. Charlemagne. My goodness. Now that one co worker, that one person you just can't stand. That's him. That's that is totally him. I'm sitting right here, I'm talking about you. All right. Let's get to the rumors. Let's talk Jordan Peale. It's

about is the rumor report? Angela Yee on the Breakfast Club. Well, Jordan Pale talked to the Hollywood Reporter and says he doesn't see himself casting a white dude as a lead in his movie. He said, not that I don't like white dudes, but I've seen that movie already. He said, it's it was, you know, as we're seeing Us and get Out, it's very important to have a black family at the center of a horror film, he said, But it's also important to not unlike get Out, it's us,

it's not about race. It is instead about something that I feel has become an undeniable truth, and that is a simple fact that we are our own worst enemy. When you see black characters in the roles like in movies like Us, you know, it gives it gives it more lays, it gives it more dimension. We've seen white families in those movies. Before you have your own power, you do what you want to do. After Jordan Pale him dropping a clues bond to Jordan Peale because for

years we didn't have top role. So yeah, and it's always been stereotypical roles for black people, So you know, why not and why can't we just play in a movie? And like you said, that movie is not supposed to be about race, and you ain't got to explain yourself to nobody. Yeah, they don't know how we are our own worst and word, they don't explain. White people don't explain when they put white people in every single movie, So why should you have to explain? All right, now,

let's talk about R Kelly. One of his accusers has broken down in a TV interview. She was on CBS News. Her name is Lenita Carter. She's one of the four accusers whose claims led to him getting arrested in Chicago back in February. She said she was his hairbraider for two years and she was assaulted fifteen years ago. She said that he tried to force her to give him oral sex and then he masturbated and spit in her face.

She did submit her shirt for DNA testing. She was twenty four at the time, and they told her it was a match to R. Kelly, and she said this is all a release for her to finally speak out. Here's what she said. I was R. Kelly's hairbraider for about two years. I was sexually abused by him, and I try to pick up the pieces every day. This is a release. I've been carrying this since two thousand and three, when I finally realized I don't want to

be to this victim. Every time I tried to pick myself up again, something on the news brought me back to what I thought. I swept under the rug today, I say no more. But he is I mean, Kelly is a piece of But but but my question is, how do you how do you prove that he forced himself on him? Because he you know, she was of age. He could have said that, you know it was consentual, But how do you prove that? I mean, we all

know he's a piece of but how do you prove it? Well? Listen, clearly, before, you know, she probably didn't feel like she had anything that she could do because a lot of women are in that situation where somebody does something to them and they're like, I don't know how I'm going to prove it. But at least she's able to speak her truth and get rid of that burden and just let people know what happened. She said, I don't know, but she's one of the four people that did actually get him arrested.

And she did, you know, go to the prosecutors at that time, did submit her shirt for DNA to talk about what happened to her? You know, So there you have it. And she said that it's been hard because she'll hear people saying, did you hear about what they did with our Kelly? They need to leave that man alone, and she felt like she couldn't stand up for herself. So she's saying, you can talk about me. You cannot like what I'm saying about your favorite singer. But this

is my life, this is my truth. If I died tomorrow, I know that I told the truth. So that's what it is. She just wanted to tell the truth about what happened to her. All right, now, let's talk about Chloe Kardashian and her truth. We never know what keeping up with the Kardashians, but the trailer is out and the new season is almost here, and here's what the trailer sounds like with Chloe Kardashian. Picture sucks to be so public. I'm not just a TV show, like this

is my life. Here's the Jordan and Kylie Christian might love me, whatever that means. Here's no respect for me whatsoever. We just can't seem to catch a grape. I just hope that there's a light of the chunnel, but I don't see it right now. Sometimes the world forgets just to be kind that we're all going through something. Maybe just be a little more understanding, because the Kardashians strong

the best to ever do is strong. You kinda start talking about the Kardashians with the greatest dynasties of all time, talking about the New England Patriots and the bad Boys in the nineties and the Kardashians. We listen, We literally sat here on this radio when the Tristan thing happened, when the Jordan Woods thing happened, I specifically said one of the new season of the Kardashians coming out, They're like,

oh no, this is this is real. You know this is really going on, And look the promos sounding fresh like it just happened yesterday. The Tristan drama and the Jordan Woods. They get us every single time, and we afford well other things that we're in the trail. Kim Kardashian saying that Kanye's planning to move to Chicago and that would be a breaking point for her as well. Should be a breaking point, like that would be it if he moved to Chicago. I guess she wasn't trying

to move to Chicago. He's not moving to Chicago. Clear, I'm not even mad at the Kardashes man. And the reason you can't be mad at them because they do it to us every single time, and we fall forward every single time. We are their best promo and marketing machine. We the people who have kept them in business for the past decade. Are you gonna watch no Watch sixteen season? I don't think I may watch this one. Ever watched the full episode of I've been on the episode and

never watched it. What are you doing? Who are you dating? Hanging out with Kanye Ye talking imagine and that's your upport on a double date with Kanye and Fresh and Chloe? All right, all right, guys, what are you giving that? Don't get you? No man, This is a classic example of when it's too much. Goddamn manis all right? Full? After the hour? We need this uh, this news team from wtol and Toledo, Ohio to come to the front of the kanegeation. We like to have a word with him.

All right, we'll get into that next keep it lock. Just to Breakfast Club, Good morning, First Club. Your morning's will never be the same. We are giving you and your best friend a chance to win a chap to the Essence Music Festival presented by Coca Cola in New Orleans July fifth through the eighth Party at the Nightly Concerts featuring performances by Mary, Dave Blige, nas Her and Moore to enter and be rules visit the Breakfast Club dot iHeart dot com. I was born to donkey. It's

the Donkey of the death. Don't get that's pretty funny? Charlemagne Devil Breakfast Club Yeah, donk here today for Thursday, March twenty eighth goes to Tim Miller, Melissa Andrews, Chris Vickers and Stephen Jackson. Who are these individuals? They are the news team at w T O L and Toledo, Ohio. Suo to everyone who listens to us on ninety two five Kiss FM in Toledo, h how yoll drop on

a clues bump for him? Damn it. Let me tell you all something thin man age is a blessing and you should embrace it because every day people wake up dead. All right. Youth is a very fleeting thing. I mean, you're only a teenager for like six or seven years, and then you know once you're in your twenties. As much as you think you're young, you are, but you're you know, once you're twenty one, you're basically an adult.

And you may not realize it, but a lot of things you do in your twenties are really setting the foundation for the rest of your life. Listen to me, you young twenties, some things everything you do today is directly impacting what happens in your life tomorrow. In my twenties, I was laying the foundation for a successful radio career. So by the time I got to thirty, I was prepared to host the morning show in a major market. Now at forty, I'm here on the Breakfast Club. Drop

one includes bombs for God. Thank you God, and you have to age gracefully along the way. The problem I have with a lot of adults if they don't want to accept the fact they are adults. Okay. One of the reasons hip hop has started to evolve and grow is because a lot of the artists who have gotten older have embraced adulthood. You know, Braith, being married washed

family men is fine. Okay. You can have an eight or nine credit score child who's a spreading on a roll student and celebrate the twenty anniversary of Juvenile's back that ass up. You can still be moved moved by the Negro spiritual that is Nucket. You buck put instead of turning up to it at the club. You may turn up to it in spin class. It is what it is. Embrace it, okay, But all too often we

have adults who can't let it go. We have adults who are told in the meetings that they have to relate to the youth all right, not realizing the most relatable thing on this planet is truth, honesty, and authenticity. Okay, we all gravitate towards that, but some adults don't grasp that concept. Some adults still want to be fifty year

old hype beast. That's why you see these grown men forty plus years old in the street, dressed in the latest supreme and bait from head to tell, because they are trying to hold onto something that has passed them by, instead of embracing who and what they are now just simply being themselves. I guess that's tomorrow of today's donkey of the day, owning your truth from being yourself, because that is exactly what the fine news team at w

T O Ellen to lead Ohio did not do. See somebody there had the bright idea to tell their news team to be cool, all right't be relatable to the kids. Some numbers must have came in that said we are pulling in the young demo like we need to. We need more young people watching the news. I don't know who their target demo is, but I bet you some executive told them they need to cater to the eighteen

to twenty four demo. And when they told them that this is what happens good mornings, TPS students, it is testing week and it's time to slay all day, they woke beyond fleek and get that Gucci breakfast goals say by Felicia to that testing stress. Why there's gonna be turned right? Chris, Yes to little weather, gonna be v lit during testing week? A hund chance of success. You've got this kids, Steve, how about that traffic? Are we look at? Ok? We're talking. Turn won't be an issue.

No traffic problems around any TPS schools to keep you from taking those techs. What the hell is that? Can you pull my farts up? Eddie? Give me a little ask, gass please, what the hell is that? I'm sorry, I mean, give me a little ass gask. When I heard it just now that it's all that Manny's just Scott all that man. There you go, man. In case you're wondering. Melissa and Tims, the anchors are Caucasian, Chris the meteorologist is also Caucasian, and Stephen is the black guy. Of

course he is because his last name is Jackson. All Right, this is a classic example of somebody putting too much mayonnaise in the potato salad. This whole situation reeks of abusive mayonnaise. All right, just started in the corporate meeting where there was too much mannaise. All Right. I'm telling you they had this plan since Black History Month, but they didn't want to execute it then because it would

have come off from all right. I found an article from twenty seventeen with the headline research helps WTOL dominate Facebook in Toledo, and it reveals how WTOL executed a plan based on research that led to its top Toledo's social media that led to it being Toledo's top social

media news network, especially on Facebook. Okay. In fact, WTLL has three times as many social media actions as its next nearest competitive competitive Okay, ladies and gentlemen, what you witnessed here was a grown as trow all right, corporate clouds chasing at his finest. This was all about overall engagement on social media. And you know what, I'm stumbling over my words a little bit because it's just throwned on me that it worked. Jesus Christ, they got me, right,

they got all of us. This is exactly what they wanted, and they got it. This video on the which so goddamn viral. Okay, we don't spread mayonnaise all over this social media sandwich. And even though we don't want the mayonnaise, oh Mama is forced enough to eat it because we made it. You know what, I'm not even giving W TiO Well, eleven CBS, and Toledo the biggest hall again. I'm giving myself the biggest he hall because I should have known better. I smelt the mayonnaise on this hoogie

from a mile away and still fell for it. I feel still fell for it. Okay, those people are with you. Those people at W TiO Well and Toledo have the right to be corny. Who gives the damn? I was about to let Kathy Griffin handle my white work, but I gotta give it to myself because I fed right into this. Okay, I took a full bite out of

this mayonnaise. Keish, all right, please give me the biggest he hall, because I should have known as soon as Dan came in here with this and I read that this was all about engagement and how they're the top so on social media, I should have known this was a corporate trol. This I felt. I felt right for it. It's okay, fam shut up. He wasn't lit. Give him a heath hall, famy. Good. Donkey was lit today. Okay, but you just a little lame. All right, good job

w T. L and Toledo, Ohio. You did that, all right? All right, well thank you for that. Well gave yourself donkey. But anyway, ask ye eight hundred five a five one oh five one if you need relationship advice, any type of advice, ask you now calling now hold on what please do it? What accent is that? That was Jamaican? What's in calling him it? Now? That's what you call it? Eight Andre, you have envy the biggest he huh five A five one five one carl A right now about

old people trying to sound I'm not sounding cool. Money. The only older people that found cool when they do that as real Caribbeans, that's our drink. Gonna sound with her age? What beige and dumb. So eight hundred five eight five one on five one if you need relationship, yeah you wanna stop? All right, it's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club Morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club.

It is time to ask yee, Hello, who's this? Good morning? Good morning? Your name is Joanielle, John Yelle, John Yelle. Okay, John Yelle. What's your question? So my question is actually how do we get a better relationship with our staff? I'm sorry, with the community that we live in. We um at our salon we give away three services every year or two soon as that are less fortunate. And this is actually all like the third year. Every year we up the end, so we donate more and more services.

But it's like the techs that come in, they want to be paid, and it's just not that it's us actually donated. Right, We've already preached out to stay for Helle and just trying to see of not asking her for any money, but just asking them to help us UM get the word out because we don't want to continue to do it. In dating, we're in dating Ohio right now, but one of the who were out to

do surrounding neighborhoods. It's like the bigger people they don't mind donating, but the common people or the text they have a problem. And we just want to know how we can actually get I guess texts to donate their time without wanting to get paid because we're not. No

one is getting paid. Well, you know, it's hard sometimes people because you don't know their individual situations of bills that they have, you know, to get paid for their services, and so you can't you know, you can't expect that the texts that work for you to do things all the time or at certain times and not get paid for it if you know, they have bills that they need to get paid. So we don't know what people's

situations are. So that's the first thing. So it's great when people can donate their time and when they're in the position to be able to do that, but we can't assume that they can. Now. I will say getting involved in community is more than just giving away your free services, but that also means supporting other people who

have businesses in your community as well. And you know, I know, like we have a juice bar in Brooklyn, and a lot of what we do is we have seminars at the Juice Bar that are free for people to come and attend, and we bring in different experts who donate their time to come and talk to people about starting their own businesses, about becoming entrepreneurs. They're kind of like town hall meetings. We had Google come in and they talked about using Google ad words so that

can help you boost your business. We've had the Small Business Services Commissioner Greg Bishop come in and he talked to the community and had the RV there so people could sign up on the spot to get services to

start their own businesses. Information is so important when it comes to community, So I think it's great that you're willing to donate these services, but I also think it's important to be involved in community and helping other people learn how to start their own businesses and providing information. I mean, I probably agree with you on that this is like one day out of the year, right, But I mean it's not like we're asking all the time

like we persalon. We make sure that we purchase all of the back to school supply, all of the food, which is great for the kids to get their hair done. But like I said, when the tape comes, it's like, well, not all of them, but some of them are like, well, how much are we getting paid? And it's only for like maybe six hours one day out of the year, you know what I mean. And it's just kind of sad because to see so many kids go with hour

and you know, self esteem plays a big role. So for your first day a school, we just want to make sure that we if we can't help as many as students as we possibly can and make sure that you know, they go to school with a backpack was equipment and stuff like that. But it's just sad because it's like crabs in a bucket kind of a thing. Yeah, and they should be able to do that for one day out the year. And I think if you give him advance noticing I know what that day is gonna be,

everybody should be prepared. Correct, We home like mount in a vance, right, but I don't know who. See, hopefully this year be better. This is our third year, and maybe you can give you a text, a little bonus or some type of incentive, or have a dinner for them or something like that to show how much you appreciate them. Giving as well. I definitely agree with that. Okay, well, I love the fact that you're doing some great things in your community though, and I hope everybody does that.

John y'all, thank you. What's the name of yr Salon so people know absolutely if Mira immage Salon, that's m I r r ah image, I am Age Salon and we're invading Ohio. All right, Johan y'all, thank you so much. Yes name? Thanks all right? Ask ye eight on dread five eight five one oh five one if you need relationship advice or any type of advice. Quo yee? Now is the breakfast club? Good morning morning? Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy we are the breakfast

club with in the middle of ask ye what's your name? Sir? Morning, Mamavan or Chief Divine? I'm sorry, can you take us off bluetooth? It's kind of hard to hear your brother. Okay, all one second up, allows, no problem, there, you got it. There you go. What's your question of you, bro? My question is I got a situation I'm dealing with. I'm

fifty years old. I'll suffered from a lot of different mental issues, including Bob polar has PTSD, has depression, and I made a mistake and decided that to medicate myself because I can't afford the meds that they was trying to give me, and I can't afford mental health care, I was gonna go and get myself some ecstasy to

take care of my PTSD and my mental issues. Well, on the way back and going to cop of boat back to the ecstacy, I got arrest of the trafficy long story short, I plan on committing suicide the day before my sentences. Why because I can't afford the attorney that they want. The attorney that I need to cheat me out of the penitentiary is gonna cost me more

than I can afford. And if I walking in with a public fund that they told me when I went to court yesterday day before yesterday, that I was looking at twenty eight half years. I'm fifty years old and I've already done seventeen in costways, I've written eleven books. I've done my thing out there, and I think I'm a good man. But twenty eight years is too much for a mistake. And I don't have twenty eight years

left in me. I don't not to give these people I don't need, and so I've decided that I'm gonna take control of my own demise. And the day before sentencing, I want to commit suicide. I'm not asking for anybody to talk me out of it. I need somebody to help me accept this. Okay, we're definitely not gonna help you accept then, yeah, what else to do? When I really when I called the first time, I couldn't believe

I got through and then I hung up. All right, So the second lady I spoke too, because then I said, now, let me call back and see what they got to say. Well, devene, what we are going to do because I feel like this is something that requires professional help, and I do have doctor Kendall Jasper on my speed dial. So hold on the line. We're gonna get you his information and

we're gonna connect you. Guys. We're gonna get your information, and we're gonna have doctor Kendall Jasper reached out to you because he said, you are stuffering from mental issues. You do have PTSD. There's a lot of things going on for you to reach out to Charlemagne on the ground for the longest, but he's gonna answer the ground. I guess I don't be. I don't do my DMS on it. I don't do dminet. You have somebody. I think you have somebody handling your loans. Yeah, I would

give you the same advice that Angelie's giving you. My brother, I would pass you off to a professional man. You know what I'm saying. The only thing I would tell you that I restopped to you because I knew you deal with a lot of the same issues I deal with. Yes, and I go to that and I go to therapy every Friday. My brother, I go to therapy every Friday because some things are just too much for one person to handle. Me went yesterday. Did you tell them about

what you did? You tell them what you're going through? I did? And what did he say? And he told me stopped putting negativity in the air. He said, don't don't think like you're not gonna handle your business. I think like you are. I'm gonna put this past us. That's great advice. I mean, I mean it is. And it's only been one session that you've had so far. Yeah, stay with it, bro. No. I was having sessions with him and then when I started dealing with my legal issues.

I stopped doing what would make make you not want to commit suicide my brother. I mean, I'm not trying to do twenty eight and a half years Charlotte man. So that's done. No, you have not. First, first of all, you have not been sentenced. No, but that's what they're gonna give me because of my criminal history. You don't know for sure that's what they're gonna get because you preparing for the worst. He's gonna have a Yes, he can't afford to pay the attorney that he wants to get.

There's no payment plan or anything that you could work out. No, No, they as I mean, Charlotte Magne, you know a little something about the legal system. You know, you can't walk into certain cases with the public as thunder. No. And that's why I'm explained. I'm trying to explain. I'm trying to understand like that anyway you can work out like a payment plan with an attorney. Yeah, that's what I just you can't work out a payment plan. You can't put the attorney that I'm dealing with is the best

attorney in the area. He used to be the dis attorney, so he can get me what I need. Okay, and give him what he need. When you're calling from what are you from? Break get him that bread. I'm calling from says Ville, North Carolina. I'm a publish Well, whyon't you let him know your financial situation and let him put you on some type of payment plan or something like. I just can't see you give up on life that easy, my brother. It seems it seems to me. Finding a

solution is what you need to do. In the solution for you is to figure out how can I get this attorney that's going to help me get out of this situation. Whatever it is that I have to do to get that money together or work out a plan so that he knows he'll get his money, is what you need to work on making happen. Yes, man, that's been the fool most thing on my mom for the longest.

We're gonna connect, but don't hang up with doctor doctor Jasper who's a professional or mental health professional, and then we can continue some conversations later. But Jesus Christ, all right, let's make sure we have his information. Then that's the number that he wants to Okay, all right, we got wet. You gotta know when things all above your pay grade. That's above rooms all the way. Yes, let's talk about

some new music. We'll tell you some of your favorite R and B A rightists who are teasing new projects. All right, we'll get into that next. Keep a locktic to Breakfast Club. Good morning the Breakfast Club. She's filling the team. This is the rumor report with Angela Yee on the Breakfast Club. Well, could there possibly be finally that follow up to Confessions? Would you guys be excited to hear that from Usher? Because remember that Confessions album

was amazing. I'm gonna always check for Usher because you know, Usher is part of our error and he's given us great records eighty seven on one Confession, so I'm gonna always check for us. What he's gonnfess about this is marriages? What is he confession? We know? I don't know, but he's been through a lot that first Confessions, and that album was even wasn't even based on his own experiences allegedly. So here's a little snippet of what this could sound like.

And it sounds good. No, you said, must be album mind but kidding, but she love his bloody to vibes still got something that's to walk away inside your vibes. But if you ask me to day, wouldn't make me stick. I see that. Believe I got hit More supposed to just what y'all want. I like that. That's a dope. Also, if you grew up in a certain area, how could you not listen to Confessions Part too? That's a cheat code, you know what I'm saying. That's like coming out with

Coming to America Part two. You're gonna watch it that that's just a love music. It just sounds great. Now. Trade Songs is also coming out with some new music, and he teases this on his Instagram page. I ain't hit More. Hey, I don't even hitting him saying word now. I'm just trying to give y'all what everybody's putting. Some of your favorite R and B artists have new music comings now. Either, we need to stop playing snippets from Instagram on the radio, and they need to stop putting

snippets on the gram like that. That way, I need a little more tease. That's why it's a tease now. Will Smith has in his latest issue. On his latest episode of bucket List, his Facebook watch series, he was talking about his bonds with his firstborn. He had his oldest son Trade. Shout out to Trey. He had him with him at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. They were racing cars, but he was bonding with him and he did make some admissions. Yeah, this bucket list was never

about cars. It was only ever about my son. The central components of love or time and attention. You cannot get around spending time if you want to build love. Really something i failed at for most of Trade's life, but I'm going to dedicate the rest of my life to make it up for it. That's real, you know, and that's a great lesson for all the the people out there, all the dads out there who perhaps aren't in their children's lives as much as they wish they

could be. You know, do as much as you can starting today. Sad thing is sometimes you think you got to provide, provide for five, but just being there, just being there, being in your son's life, for your daughter's life. And that's why I try to be in my kid's life as much as possible. I try to do everything with them. It ain't about the money, It's just about

the time. And if you're not with your kids when they're young, and you know, you just gotta hope that they don't grow up to hate you, and you get to make its starting right now. You can always do better. And he even talked about getting divorced and starting another family. He said that had effects on trade that we're still healing and overcoming. He said, in the last two years has been enough wisdom and emotional development to be able

to lovingly address the issue. Love it all right. Meanwhile, Jayden and Jada Smith went to Flint to reveal the water box filtration system that they have. It's a revolutionary, revolutionary mobile water filtration system and that's all in collaboration with the five oh one C three to reduce letting other contaminants that have been affecting residence during their current water crisis. The Craziest nineteen and we're still having problem

with water and Flint. Everyone knows about crazy all right. Now, congratulations to Jay Rock When When When When? That is now in new eras we reign as one campaign that's in celebration of the new MLB season. So that's a dope. That song I think goes with anything. It's a great motivational song. Yeah, that's one of those ones like DJ Kalitta. All I do is win like it can fit a number of occasions. I'm sure you getting played in sports

arenas throughout the country forever. Yes, And I know he's having a birthday over the weekend, so an advance Happy birthday to Jay Rock. All Right, now, let's talk about Kobe Bryant. He was on The Late Late Late Show, well the Late Late Show with James Gordon, and he was asked to weigh in on one of those debates as far as Michael Jordan, Lebron James and Kobe Bryant, where do you ring seriously talk into that? Coltung Beby?

You know what I'm gonna answer, but I'm not going to answer it because if everybody's gonna sit there and debate about it, so I'm just gonna take a bite of it. Well, then you came on, it's pretty straightforward. I think, what are you Michael's second best? That's how he's supposed to feel. He's supposed to feel. That's not the truth, it's not, but that's how you supposed to feel. No, it's actually Michael Jordan's magic. Then Kobe, well, that wasn't one of the options. I know, I don't know. I

didn't even put magic in there. I don't. I don't get it. Magic with the nine NBA Finals one five League MVPs one in his rookie year one on one with HIV defeated that, like the man is amazing. MJ is definitely number one. All right, Well I'm angela yee and that is your rumor report. Hey firm, and hey fam, did you hear about coke? They released a brand new flavor. Yeah you heard that right, And I'm not gonna lie. It's bringing that Coca cola taste you already know and

combines it with Arrange and Vanilla flavors. That's three times the delicious. And it's available in Arrange Vanilla Coke and Arrange Vanilla Coke zero Sugar. So there's something for everyone. And did I mention it tastes great? Head over to your closest read Taylor and try the new Arrangs Vanilla Coke and Arns Vanilla Coke zero sugar for yourself. Thanks maam. Hey fam, People's choice mix us up next. You heard that right? Get your request in right now, don't you

do it? Like me? Right? Eight? On Friday five one five, we'll get your requested. It's the Breakfast Club. Come on, let's go morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlemagne the God. We are the Breakfast Club. Good morning. Now. Shout out to all the troops that hold us down, fight for us, make sure that we're safe out there. I'm actually going to barrun now saying it right, barun Bahn. Yeah, brain,

it's brain. Can't tell you I've even heard of before, correctly. Yeah, we have a huge h A. I'm not sure if it's an air force, the Armed Forces. We have a huge based out network called the Armed Forces Network. It's in one hundred and fifty countries, through all the Air force bases and throughout the world, and we're on there. Yeah. So I'm heading out there to DJ for the troops. So I look forward to that. So I'm about to

hop on the plane a little bit. I'm actually gonna be in the air longer than I'm actually gonna be at so I didn't want to stay a little longer. I can't. They will give you off. They said bring your ass back, So I'm gonna bring my ass back, and I just want to shout out to doctor Kendall Jasper, he's on the phone. I know Asky had a lot

of people alarmed. Earlier today, one of our listeners called in and he's been struggling with mental disorders and he now has a current court case that's pending and he's scared that he's facing twenty eight years in jail, and he's saying that he will commit suicide before that happens, before he gets sentenced. Well, doctor Kendall Jasper is reaching out right now, so we will keep you updated and keep him in our prayers. Shout out to Divine who

called in this morning for asking. Yeah, a lot of people hit me up and they say that, you know, especially from the Carolina, is that willing to help as much as possible. So, I mean, I'm sure we could create a goal from me for the man or any attorneys that want to work pro bono that can help him out. Well, we're gonna keep following up and get

into information and see how he's progressing. But we will definitely make sure because some things, you know, you really do have to call in an expert because we would hate for anything to happen, and that is somebody that's trained specifically to deal with issues like this, and so we are praying, all right, all right when we come back. We got the positive note. Don't move. It's to Breakfast Club. Good morning morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne

the guy. We are the Breakfast Club Charlomine. Yes, sir, h you got a positive note. Yes, man. The positive note is simply this man. It's Thursday, so I want all you ought to remember this. It is always better to ask questions than to make an assumption, because assumptions set us up for suffering. Breakfast Club, you finish, y'all, dumb
