Per year fifty percent ratchet to sit down isn't coming the most prominent form for you wait your ass up early in the morning. But they told me was y'all. I said, oh, hell yeah, I'm getting the world stagerous water ship. Three people's choice. Actually, let's see you jomamazing people who I can't believe you guys are the basket.
Look did we know this breakfast club petitions? Good morning Usa yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo Angeli's house. Sholom was popping pisce to the planet in this Friday. Yes it's Friday. I got a salute um our boardop drum drums, the good guy that sits next to DJNV the bid you got a fresh hair cut the day you know, the other day he had a nice little high date, you know what
I mean, A little business meeting. A little business meeting. I'm not gonna say with who you know, but I just know that he's a big Timmy Hill figure fan. Drama is he had a meeting with a higher up over that hill figure. Now he's in here with a whole bunch of exclusive hill figure stuff on, like velvet hill figure for lore, velvet cord rank jackets. So you know what the jeans too? You got on drum got hill figure? Where do you he does? He got hell
figure under? Where are? I know? Back in the day we used to say, did you suck a little for some trump fit? Maybe for some hill figure? All give me a little pound, Give me a little pound, give a little pound. Right, you did what you had to do. You did what you had to do, drama. I respected exclusive hill figure for the winner. Baby, ain't matter you do you think? Gee? Do you think? My guy? All right,
welcome on and everybody. It's Friday. The weekend is hell, That's right, and slut to everybody in the iHeart building. Who's dapping me up saying happy holidays? If I don't see you, I'm like, with this your last day? And they're like yes, I'm like, why is today not all last days? Really? Yes? Who said Jim Carr o Jim og Jim Curry is not coming in. Gim Curry not coming in it? This day is last long? I got, I got my I'm using my holidays. My vacation day
start after next Wednesday. Damn it. If it was a real gy, you push it up. I don't have no more DA either because I was can't push nothing up. I don't have it man, Alright, Well stapped out for the year. Charlemagne flew out to the Bahamas and us sat down with Meek Mill a couple days ago. Yeah, I sat down on Meek Mill on Wednesday. You know, Meek Mill just got nominated for a Grammy for Championships. Uh so um. You know, he just wanted to talk about the album where his mind was at when he
when he was recording that album. Also, he's working on new music right now, okay, and just a bunch of other things, you know, reform um. You know, Meek Miller is a person who found his purpose, and it's very it's very interesting when you see people who find that purpose, because when people find their purpose, it seems like things just effortlessly fall into their lap, right, you know what I mean? And that's what I see happening for meat
Bill right now. He's worked to get to this point, he's found his purpose as a human and it's just a beautiful thing to see. Yeah, remember when when he was up here and he first came home and he said he didn't want to be the face of prison reform at one time, but that's totally changed. Well, sometimes sometimes you don't have a choice because things are bigger
than you correct, you know what I mean? And your good plan may not be God's playing for you, right So you might have some other plans, but God might say, no, this is what I need you to be to do right now. And if you fight it, if you resist against it, you know sometimes that that that can harm you, take away your blessing. He's not he's not fighting it. He's not resisting it. He's out here doing the work.
He's chasing it, doing the work. Shout to me. So we talked about a lot of things, um and nasaw on this past Wednesday. Okay, all right, so the little morning that's right, and we got front page news. What's say you about Colin Kaepernick? Will they give him a shot? Did he pick up a team? We'll talk about that. Don't move. It's to breakfast Club of Morning Morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne, the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Let's getting some front page news now
on Thursday Night football. The Ravens squashed the Jets last night. Congratulations to the Ravens. They play last night. He did his damn thing too. I think they've clinched the playoff Berth already, right, I'm not sure if they've clinched the playoff birth. I think I would probably sit Lamar Jackson for the rest of the season. Yeah, just hold him on to the to the yof right, maybe played one more game, but after that, I'll set him for the
rest of the season. Okay. Now, Colin Kaepernick, you know he did that. I wouldn't say a trial, but he did that workout. We had a bunch of teams there. It kind of fell apart. But now it looks like the NFL saying we moved on. This was, as I've said to you before, about creating an opportunity, which Collins representatives came out in early October, and we created that opportunity. It was a unique opportunity, incredible opportunity, and he chose not to take it. I understand that, and you know
we've moved on here. Oh here's the thing. It's easy to say, Hey, the NFL wasn't serious about giving Kap a shot. But guess what, we will never know because he didn't show up to the workout. And that's fine. He made a choice, and we always gotta we all gotta live with our choices. Not to mention once again, I don't care about Colin being in the NFL because
Colin Kaepernick is bigger than football. So Colin Kaepernick wants me to stand with him on the front lines of any type of activism or you know, but protesting against the injustice that he initially still stood for, or kneel for which is police brutality. I'm all in on that, But as far as Cap getting back in the league, I'm not even interested. So what happens now for Cap?
So down Capta stops because he's tried out, and he's worked out, and he's went through the I mean, if you want to other options to play football, you can go through the CFL, you can go play arena football. But I just never understood, uh, you know, wanting to work for an organization that you say is oppressing you, Right, I just never understood that. Okay, well, let's saying the storm is gonna hit the East coast this weekend. They're
saying travel will be difficult. There's gonna be a lot of ice, a lot of trees and power lines should be hitting down, so it's gonna be a lot of power outages. So that should hit uh to date until Sunday, all through the East coast, so we'll see how that ends up. And last storm, he says, a coastal snow storm. Rain storm, says a coastal storm. It says a winter weather advisory. There's a coastal storm with a lot of ice, winter weather, so ice, snow, hell, you just okay, you storm?
We got a storm yet, umbrella. What I do from an old Tim's like what happens if you stay old? We just stay old. And lastly, all my parents out there start saving. Now. Xbox Series X they're having They have a new console that's gonna be released next year, just in time for the twenty twenty holiday season. So the remote controller alone is gonna be one hundred and
eighty dollars for one. I haven't announced the price of the Xbox Series X, but they're just telling you that the controller's gonna be one eight so you're gonna need two of those. And they're also saying that PlayStation five will be released next year as well, so start saving now. It's gonna be very costly and expensive for your kids for next year. I'm holding out for all the virtual reality video games. They got those already though, right, Yes, I want to joint that be like when you do
the Disney ride, like when you do the Avatar. I want I want something like that. I think they have some of those already. You gotta put the thing on you. I think Samsung does it. We put the thing over your face and you can move and it moves with the ride. Don't want all right, we let's out. You can buy it. I'm old, I don't know nothing. All right, Well, last front page news. Get it off your chest eight hundred five A five one on five one. If you
need to vent, hit this up right now. Maybe you had a bad night, bad morning, or maybe you feel blessed. Eight hundred five eight five one on five one is to Breakfast Club. Then on Sunday, h we got our tickets to go to the real thing, Sumhre at the Javia Center. So my wife and that

I know you let me know you're the one who said it. Oh you're talking about when I said that if he um, if he beats his case, I would I would give him filatio. Yeah, well, let me tell you what that's based off. That's based off the fact that he used to always run around telling people to SMD. So I
was being sarcastic when I said that. But you know, do you want to feel in for Charlemagnan all of a sudden, all of us, all of a sudden. What I think he's gonna come home next week? But do you want to feel in for Charlemagne? And by the way, it didn't matter even though I was being hypothetical. He didn't beat the case. He rated what he beat the case. That's not beating the case. No, that's not cooperating with federal authorities. Is not beating a case, sir. That's called
a rat team. He did not, And that's fine. You can snitch, but that's not that's not beating a case. All right, man, If you say, but hey, don't forget the promise. Man, you're a change man. Man, shut up something. You just what's wrong with you? Man? Get your chests eight hundred five eight five one on five one. If you need to vent hit this up now. It's the breakfast club. I wasn't listening to why Lady cold during ask ye and lady choke? Well, lady choke. Yes, she said she had this music and angel wa Ye heard it and she called back and angrelwa Ye gave her another chance and she choked. I don't remember anything about that. I don't want to don't choke though, you gotta go, all right, Bet, I've been riding on my own system. Sent you home. I know you gone, but it's still hurt to talk about it, all this pain and my soul when I felt your body cold and left me froze. But it's still hurt

And another day about that Santa Class thing? Right? Uh? You got four elements, you got Cupid, you got the Easter Bunny, you got Santa Claus and you got Jesus. Now, when your child grows up, the finds out there seventy five percentities of stuff you told him as a little kid ain't real. What makes you think they're the twenty five percentity gonna be affective? I never I agree with you ever told my kids about Cupid. That's what I said that during darkey to Day the other day. And
I've been saying that my whole life. The Easter bunny, the Easter bunny leaving eggs for my kids, and the eggs got money and cannon and man eggs. Bunny don't even lay eggs. And Santa hey, I got. I didn't say they laigs. I said she left the eggs. And then Santa he needs a bunch of gains. Sir, what
about the elf for the shelf? I gottagree with you too, that the first thirty seconds to the Prestis Clubs should be pre recorded, that everybody gets stay yo yo yo yo yo's and y'all ladies just gotta worry about it no more, and everybody gets to come to work five minutes later. I agree, But guess where the people believe in Santa Clauds the Easter Bunny in the two ferry. They can believe that I'm here on time. Going yo yo yo, yo, yo yoo. I agree with you. Goodness Grace,
get on with your chests. Eight hundred five eight five one on five one. When we come back, we got the rumor report French Montana. He's home and he'll tell you why he was ICU. When we come back. It's the breakfast Club. The morning, the Breakfast Club. We ain't playing enough Christmas music. Yeah, I'm telling you. He said that every dad, what's up man? Programs from Christmas music? I want to hit a little duvall Christmas trees. He got um and boom quis Christmas in Hollis. Ladies have that?
All right, Well, let's get to the rooms. Let's French Montana. She's filling the team. This is the rumor Report with angela Ye on the Breakfast Club, Shout the French Montana. He released the album last week. He was in Icyu for a couple of days. He's when academics flew out to LA and had a conversation with our friends about what was going on. And this is how it went. When I was there, doctors, I could have died if I coming so when I went to Africa. You know,
she still got problems with my pops. She's you know, brothers and sisters. Fuck. I mean, you know when you don't see nobody for twenty five years, if you basically don't know the person. So I stayed with her, you know, the Overdia, like I told you, like like, they don't got no guns over there. They fight with spirits like that. So I just remember being something bad and start loosing in and Nicol did caller showed over there, and that plus being in the four countries, plus my birthday turn up.
By time I got to the crib, I was all this combobulated, and I just remember waking up and I see he was doing too much. He wasn't thinking of himself. It happens to the best of us. I've passed out on this head floor back in the day because of dehydrasing, because party and two goddamn heart. It happens. But he said there was some type of voodoo. He thought somebody put something this god damn FOODO. That's an alcohol and whatever contraband you was putting in your body and partying
too much in lack of sleep. That was no damn voodoo. Now everybody's been talking about Lizzo and what she wore to the Lakers game, and it went viral and people were upset with her. Well, she spoke to uh, I think she's about the Gale, right, she's about to Gael. We'll CBS in the morning and more to the whole Gael King interview. Yes, let's stop. Let's hear a little bit of it in my own positive Yes. You so you don't even take it all in. Um, Well, it's their opinion, so I mean, it's not for me to
really ingest. It's for them to express and for me to choose to listen to or not or not. Was that a spontaneous moment, Yeah, I absolutely was. I think no one would have ever saw what I was wearing, like the back of it, if I didn't get up and dance. And the Lakers girls came up to me and said, we're so excited that you're here. We want
to perform one of your songs for you. And I remember I was sitting there and I was with my manager and my friend and they were like, you should get up and dance like they're doing this for you. And I was like, all right, listen to the freedom of expression. She had the right to wear what she wants, and people have the right. They're expressive if they if they dig it in that that's just the way the
game go. Well, Lizzo also said this on gal. Anyone who knows me knows that this is how I've always been. This is how I've always likes to dress. And it took but was out. I hadn't. I'm just curious. I had on layers down there, so my my it wasn't just you know, flesh to see, but um, it was out. Yeah. How long it took me to fall in love with this body? And the fall my butt was my least favorite thing about myself, and I learned to love it.
And that's the thing everybody case stop talking about. All right, Well, the Houston Rockets reached out and said, Lizzo, we like your your moves. You have an open invite to come to Houston and dance with us on the court at any time. Well that's different, and she's dancing on the court. You know that outfit is totally appropriate when you performing,
you know what I mean. I don't know if it's appropriate to just wear to a random game, but if you're performing and you're on stage, yeah, you rock that outfit. But she said, I'll be there with bells on my booty. Prince used to do it all the time. Prince used to have his ass out, but it was on stage performing. Context matters well. Amazon reportedly paid Rihanna twenty five million dollars for a documents Amazon cutting checks. Yeah, dropping the
clues bomb Amazon, damn it, Amazon cutting checks. I know some people personally who got some cut checks from Amazon. Scoot Amazon now. They said they got about thousand hours of footage and it's just fun. They said they traveled with Rihanna around Europe. Rihanna is surrounded by her girls. They were in France, her concerts, a whole bunch of things. So I look forward to that twenty five million dollars to do a goddamn documentary. Well better Everyone's breakfast Club documentary.
What the hell y'all dragging y'all feet fall? I'm with you. I'm trying to make it happy, all right, one more person to confirm. Who's that wrong with you? Man? I don't know that's the problem. I'm going to therapy to day three o'clock. You need it, You really need it all right, Well that is Oh we got com Christmas songs. That's your rum of reporter. We have, man lord ball Christmas trees. Yeah right, no that you got. We got Christmas in Hollis. I don't hear that, but we're gonna
play that. That's the Christmas so we got, and that's what we're gonna play. And when we come back, we got front page lutle duvar Christmas tree. We just ain't got stuff. Unishment's blues bop them questions as Christmas in Hollis, what ut Queens, New York is the breakfast club? Good morning, Hey morning everybody, and v I'm excited man too. By the way, is it people people still scared the Friday thirteenth? Y'all still scaring those superstitions? Now? Do we do? We
have any superstitions? You know me? Neither? No, But let's get in some front page news. Thursday night football, The Ravens beat the Jets forty two twenty one. If I'm the Ravens, if I've already clinched the playoffs spot, I'm not sure. If they have, I'm sitting Lamar Jackson intel the playoff time, I would as well now Colin Kaepernick. Now it seems like the NFL said we've moved on. Listen.
This was, as I've said to you before, about creating an opportunity, which Collins representatives came out in early October, and we created that opportunity. It was a unique opportunity, credible opportunity, and he chose not to take it. I understand that, and you know we've moved on here. I don't know, but I stopped caring about Colin Kaepernick being
in the NFL a long time ago. It's easy to say the NFL wasn't serious about giving Kapa shot, but we'll never know because he didn't show up to the workout. And that's fine. He made a choice and we all got to live with all choices. And not to mention the reason I don't care about Colin being in the NFL because I think he's bigging in football, period and I would stand with him on the front lines when it comes to any type of activism. I would stand
with him when it comes to the initial cause. He took a kneel four, which is protesting against police brutality. But as far as like you know, me wanting him to play for the same people that he's suppressing him, oppressing him. That's as backwards me. So when it comes to Colin Kaepernick in football, did we just say, you know what, let it go. I don't know if I'm still support I don't care about him being in the league. It never made any sense. But he wants to be
in a league exactly what. That doesn't make any sense to me. Like if you say this organization is oppressing you, if you say that there, you know, marginalizing you, I don't understand why you would want to play for them. That's just my opinion right now. Also, they're saying another
coastal storm will impact the East Coast this weekend. They're saying during this time this shit, travel will be difficult, a lot of ice accumulation, they're saying, a lot of trees will be falling down, a lot of power lines, so they're saying it should be a lot of possible power outages. That said, it should hit uh, most of the Northeast, including New York City and Boston. What kind of storm, A rain storm, the weather storm, I don't know,
weather storm, I don't mind. Type of Hampton universe today, did y'all know that they have weather storms. Coastal storm. You said storm, coastal storm. First, do you know that they have weather storms? I thought storms were a part of the weather. But they have weather storms, baby, coastal storm? Is it a winter and warning storm? Another coastal storm? I don't know, Google coastal storm. I don't have time,
me neither. All right, and that is your front page news. Yeah, be back on Monday, and I I ain't gonna do this. Go more. All right, Now, let's talk about smart TVs. You're afraid of your smart TVs and your smart cameras and all that stuff in the house. Eight hundred five eight five, one oh five. But that's why we're talking about that. Let's talk about this now. I'm scared of my TV. I have to tell you that you don't something that no. I was gonna tell about the story
about ring. You know what ring is. Ring is the camera system that a lot of people have outside the house and inside the house where they can see people can ring the doorbellybody. So there was a situation where a young man walked into his house he was eight years old, and the ring camera was on and the ring camera was like, hey, what's up, little man? And the guy was and the kid was like hey. He
was like, I'm Santa. So the kid got scared, unplugged the ring camera, walked into another room and the guy was like, hey, I still see you. That's crazy. Somebody broke into their password, broke their password, found out the password, changed the password, and can see everything on their in their house. What was going on. I blame the parents for that, and the reason I blame the parents for that for teaching the goddamn kids about Santa. Santa Claus
ain't real. So if the guy had been on the speaking and said he was Santa, he would have known that that's not saying it because Santa is not a real thing. He would have known that there was an issue. He would know that there was a problem instead of sitting there holding a conversation with mister Claus, who doesn't exist. Santa does exist, saying as a human being who's right now, he's probably making toys right now for all a little good kids. White man makes the toys. He makes the toys. Yes,
the elves and Santa always made the toys. What's wrong with your right? So you're gonna say that, but when you get an Xbox that says made in China, Well, he made it in China. The sky, Yeah, well after the North Pole, ya just keep on. There's a lot of man, there's a lot of stuff. He does stuff in China, does stuff in the North Pole, he does stuff everywhere. All of the story is, I'm definitely afraid of swat TVs, especially when especially when I'm in a hotel.
When I'm in hotels, I'm really afraid of swat TVs. We eight nobody want to see a little naked pepe anywhere, but eight one o five one? Are you scared of smart TVs? Camera, smartphones and all that? What was the thing with the ring person? What? What? What happened? I told you he broke into the past where he got the password broken, and then if you can get in the password, you can see the whole house and everything that's going on in the house if you have cameras
an ounse. So it's just a new age digital peep in town basically pretty much. Because he didn't try to steal anything, He didn't ask the little boy to do nothing. He just now just looking at him, just being a perfect That's that's crazy, all right. Well eight hundred five eight five, one on five one, let's talk about it. Are you scared of your smart TVs, your smartphones, your
smart cameras? Call us now it's the Breakfast Club. Good morning in right now at your opinion to the Breakfast Club Top eight hundred five eighty five one on five one, The Breakfast Club Morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee. Charlomagne the guy we are the Breakfast Club. Now if he just joined us. We're talking about smart TV smart cameras. Are you afraid of them? So Charlomagne said he's afraid of them? Yeah, I mean, smart TVs scared me because I feel like I'm never alone. I always feel like
God is watching over me. But nowadays I feel like I'm always being watched. Like when I'm in hotel rooms, I feel like those smart TVs are our cameras. Even when I turn my TVs off in my house, I feel like they are still on. And we got too many of those smart speakers around the house. Like I hate my four year old relationship with Google, Google, Google. I hate hate Google more than I Hey, hey daddy. I just feel like I'm constantly under surveillance and I
don't like it. And I know for a fact the phone is attracting device and it's probably hearing us and watching us all the time. I hate when I get in my car and my phone telling me where I'm going and how long it's gonna take to get there, Like, how do you know I'm going to the gym? How do you know I'm headed to work? How do you
know I'm going to get oxtails? Ricing beans? Like with the smart TV watching us in the house, recording us, and then told the phone while I was going like, I don't appreciate that, Like, usually what the phone is usually what you do every day, So everybody don't think go to work every day. So it tells you it's gonna take you an hour and five minutes to get the work. Okay, I'll give you that. When you go back home and tells you the same thing you're going home,
and tells you what time is going. Yeah, but what about when you just randomly getting in the car because you say you want to go to I don't know them all all the movies, and it's like movie theater. How they know I'm going to the movie. I know sometimes when whatever you google, it'll it'll show you an ads whatever you google something similar to what you google. So if you google a car, it'll tell your ad of different cars on your Instagram or Facebook. And does
that a lot. Daniel, producer who works it, says he keeps a band aid over the camera on his phone, and I get, huh, the iPad iPad keeps he keeps a band aid over the phone on his iPad and laptop. I'm assuming some people do that for their TVs. I do. I am the guy that would turn the camera around sometime in the house just because so I don't know, I just I just don't like the feeling of being
undisavaillance all the time. Yeah, I'm not too scared. I don't know why it doesn't all man, I'm not too scared. I mean, I know the phone track you I mean, you could do about that, but it doesn't really bother me. I mean, you know, you when you when you're in a hotel or something and you with your wife, you know you would hope that that that that like your
wife's not being recorded by the smart TV. Personally, I'm just afraid of getting caught with shrink it, you know what I mean, Like, you wouldn't want that like, if I was to get recorded by a smart TV, I would want them to see me in all my glory because I am a grower, not a shower. The end of dand what I'm saying, okay, embarrassing, that would be all right, Mini me. Let's go to the phone one, Hello Shay and it'll probably be an HD. What's up?
We justking about Charlomagne's little meat, but we're asking eight hundred five eight five one or five one? Are you afraid of smart TVs or smart cams? I'm gonna have to go with yeah, you'll keep the story busy. So one day I get a link a friend of mine I to throned my board, my ex at the time. He sent me a link and he's like, hey, download this and send me the code off of it. It was like some T mobile code or something. For me, being oblivious, I go ahead, I download the link. I
send them the code, not thinking nothing about it. Come to find out that link downloaded spyware onto my phone where he was able to like remote view into my camera. He was able to remote you into my microphone, access my text messages, my location. That's dope, every everything. No, it's not dope. That's the violation of privacy at its best. As a violation of privacy, can you ask, can you answer me a question? Because I'm old? What's remote? Remote video?
Whatever the hell? You just so he can use her camera to see what's going on in the room. So remote me in at your house a different locations. Yeah, he could literally I don't know how it works, but he could like tell me what I was doing. He was, And I started to catch on because he would be he was, he was. He was starting to repeat conversations that I was having with my friends text messages when he wasn't even in town to have access to my phone. And the only reason that I picked up well that's
why I figured it out. So yo, I called T Mobile and they're like, well, there's something with the virus.
We end up being transferred over to Samsung, and Samsung was the one who was able to figure out that it was actually on there because it was starting to get crazy, yo, because I had went to Best by Geek Squad, I noticed a long story, sorry guys, and they're like, well, yeah, you can just download spyware until your phone will come to find out at some point he actually activated the mallware that would have caught it. He activated it, send me the link, and then set
me up what he thought was failure. I wasn't doing nothing anyway. But you know what's so wild about that? I bet you thought you found your soul mate. He's like, this guy really knows me. This guy really knows me. He knows what I like. He's reading my mind. How did he know? I doubt me all straight pants. That was nothing legal I could do about it, because it ain't like you going to admit it, but it was. It was wild. It was definitely. It's worse than any book.
That's crazy. Steve Harvey was giving away all the secrets. That's even better. Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. Are you fred of your smart TVs or your smart cameras? Call us now it's the breakfast club. Good morning pointing. Everybody ins DJ Envy Angela yee. Charlomagne the guy we are the breakfast club. Now if he just joined us, we're talking about all you fraid of
your smart TVs or your smart cameras. Charlemagne said, he is, He said, when he goes to a hotel right here, turn the TV because they don't want him see his little peepe. That is true, though. I mean, listen, when you're in a hotel or even when you at home. You know, smart TVs not your friend. You know, I turned my TVs off in my house and I feel like they're still on. You know, sometimes when I'm in a hotel, I might put a towel up over it because I don't want them to see me when I
got shrink it. You know what I mean? If they catch me when you know I'm I'm growing, is something cool because you know I'm a growing not a shower baby essence, hid essence. We were just talking about Charlomagne shrinking, just little pee pee. But in your favorite subject, we're talking about you. Now, are you scared? Are your favorite a favorite? Say? Are you fraiding smart TV? I am afraid of everything besides my phone. I think Alexa and Amazon creating it are the devil. I think that the
technology is evolving and it's going to destroy us. I think everybody should get a map and a flip phone. And just having on that, you said a map and a flip phone. Why you say you know why you say you scared of everything but your phone? Like I'm terrified on my phone. I feel like the phone is attracting device. I feel like the phone is hearing you and watching you all the time, even more in the TV because it's always with you. Well, I turn my
location off. That's number one, So I don't have like any of that going on. So I feel like that protects me just a little bit. But Alexa, I know people who have conversations with Alexa, like ask her questions and tell her to sing lullabies, and it's just taking it too far. Like artificial intelligence is a dangerous thing to me. Yeah, I'm believe in any of it. I'm with you. I hate my four year old relationship with Google.
And I'm gonna tell you something else about artificial intelligence that we are really stupid if we let artificial intelligence overcome us because we create artificial intelligence. I don't understand it. Stop creating these guys and robots if you don't want them to take us over. Hello, who's this Jersey? They? What's up? Bro? You scared of small TV's or small cameras, aloys, scared of the soul? You shouldn't be scared of your phone. Brough y'a. Don't think your phone works too well, we
can't hear you. Yeah, you gotta take your phone out of your mouth, bron, cut it off. Now you're probably Google in sexy hot menu and then you put your phone in your mouth. Eight hundred five eight five one o five one. We're talking. Are you afraid of your smart TVs or your smart cams? Call us now, it's the Breakfast Club the Morning Morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We all the Breakfast Club. And now if you just joined us, we're talking. Are
you afraid? Are your smart TVs or your smart cameras? Hello? Who's this? Yo? This Faith from Ohio? What's up? What's up? Bro? You afraid of your US smart TVs? Are your smart cams? No? Not at all. Look at it like this. If you do hack as to my system, y'all should be paying me for the free show. I didn't. I didn't find that a music that wasn't funny. I didn't find that amusing. Like there's there's nothing amusing about people spying on us
and nothing being peeping toms. I don't find out a music, sir, I don't know. Man just makes stronger passwords. I mean you can't. You can't hack it to what a strong password. I don't have nothing to do with passwords and hacking. It's the fact that these smart TVs can also be cameras as well. Hello, who's that got to hack into it? Now we're asking eight hundred five eight five one on five one. Are you're afraid of your smart TVs or
smart cams? Not at all? Why not? He could? Man, I don't really think they'd be paying attention like that. I think they're more so the listener. They're more so what listening like then, well I'll be more concerned about a microphone than a camera. Well, the microphone is on the goddamn phone all day long exactly, So I mean, like, even with that, I'm cutting the skeptical of keeping my phone with me. You know what's so crazy people talk
about passwords and talk about creating stronger passwords. You do realize you're putting your password into these devices, right, So these devices know your goddamn password, Like like somebody somewhere knows your password. You're putting them in the smart TV, in the iPhone, Like You're not the only person who knows that You're downloading that password into a system. Hello, that is a fact. And where you come from, I
don't know. You popped me in and I'm just joining in it everything he said, all right, tag, you're it baby, All right, now we're talking. You're afraid of smartphones or smart TVs, bro, I'm not really afraid of smart TVs. I'm afraid of smart people who had my smart TVs. To be honest with you, my smart TV never did nothing, but did everything I wanted to do. Change all the channels I wanted it to change. It played all the
movies I wanted it to play. Now, if a smart guy hated my smart TV, ain't nothing I could do it. You know, I ain't not going to do about that, you feel me? All right? Well, thank you? Yeah, but it's gonna be a very scary cold day when you're sitting around having a conversation with hey, Google or Alexa and they really start talking back to your ass, not just talking back asking you what song you want to hear, but having a full blown conversation with you. Well, what's
the moral of the story. I don't know. The moral of the story is, don't let you smartphones be smarter than you. And your smart TVs be smarter than you. All right, it's I think all of this smart stuff is creating a whole generation of dumb people. All right, Well, we got rumors coming up. We'll find out who said no more white women for twenty twenty. All right, doctor them off. We'll get into that. Next is the Breakfast Clugal Morning, Hey morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee,
Charlomagne the God. We are the Breakfast club dropping a clues bombs from Philadelphia baby to Philadelphia seventy six. That's right. Shout out to Michael Ruben during Change for Change. We do this every year where we raise money for a
different cause. This year, Michael Ruby donated one hundred thousand dollars and he said that if we were Philadelphia seventy six is gear one time a week, Yes, he will donate an additional twenty five thousand, which I have no problem doing because I got a lot of love for Philadelphia. I did. I have my own Warning radio show in Philadelphia back in two thousand and nine. As well as Allan Obinson being my favorite NBA player of all times, shot Ai yep, I got a lot of Allan Obinson Jerseys.
I don't mind wearing a doctor Jay Jersey. I don't mind rep in Philly like and I don't have an NBA team, so you know, well I do. But the fact that he gave an additional twenty five thousand dollars to an HPCU, it's very uh, we're very thankful for that. So because of that, we're gonna be I'm gonna wear one time a week is seventy six a weard. That's why I got the seventy six. It had on today. Michael Rubers shout to you, if you actually had an NBA team, you wouldn't be doing it. But you're not
a real Knicks fan. I am, and you see I got a Philadelphia seventy six. Is the size of that. Clearly this came from Joel MBI. This is like a two x three x drawing a skirt drawn. What did you tell me earlier? What you say he looked like he said his boyfriend's house last night, he didn't have no clothes. Kind of does look like you said that your boyfriend's holes. We ain't got no clothes? Are you wear to say? I'm not yet? This is comfortable outside,
Serge Ibakawa. What do your side you think he went and shut up? All right, well let's get to the rumors. Let's talk about the guy that says no more white woman in twenty twenty. Oh Gosum reports report with Breakfast Club. So Antonio Brown, he went on the Twitter Rent last Twitter Rent last night. First he said, I'd have lost it all. Just not myself, Chelsea Chris eight mins, just baby mama. Three So we clear at Google. What is this about? I don't know who is Chelsea Chris. Maybe
that's the baby mama. That's what he said. No more white women in twenty twenty, no more white women after Labor Day. Then he says, I'm a rapper, Chill, chill, I can't even let you scrubs be mentioned on my menches. But Antonio Brown says no more white women in twenty two. Doctor Umar Johnson would be proud of you, Antonio Brown. You made doctor Umar proud. Okay, dropping the clues Bronx,
doctor Umar. Doctor Umar was going to Breakfas Club this week. Um, we'll put we put that out on YouTube later the day. But doctor Umar would be very happy to hear that based off the conversation that he had with us this week. Yes, yes he did. Goodness, gracious, well it's some good news. French Montana. Seems like he squashed the beef between him and jim Jones and Max Beef, so they have no beef. Shout to Jimmy and him spoke and I'm saying, we
killed all that beef. How was that conversation? No, it was just it was it became stupid. You know what I'm saying. Him became stupid. Max doing said in five years, he's always life. I'm all my life. Like what we're still leaving about. He gave Matches paperwork, Matches dropping music. That's that's really what it was about. It was about Match getting his paperwork, the matter, try to feed his family. I mean, what you're gonna do if you try to
feed your family. Somebody got your under contract and me just being his next to him, I was, I was in the regardless. Yeah, I don't know about everything else he's talking about, but I'm happy that they're not beefing no more. Yeah, I'm glad they not see brothers beefing for nothing, like if you ain't you know, if no money was involved and nobody got to hurt, like what do y'all got issues from. I'm glad to see they
got they squashed that. They worked it out, and I'm glad they squashed that now offset he claims, Juice Worreld will be on Amigos Coaches three album. I want to say, my butter, Juice man, it's sad to lose another town of the artists man God Blessing and Sammily. He was one of the y'alls that really could floto. He's really could wrap, freestyle, go crazy work if it was crazy. I got this song called was breaking with him. I
was probably to put that on Coach for three. We go ahead eight time and Juice World's mom, I don't have it, but I read it. She also she made a statement to TMZ saying, you know, she was saddened that she lost the son, of course, but she's hoping that artists and other people can learn from her son's mistake and use of drugs, and hopefully they can see what happened to him and not run down that same role,
you know with drugs. Yeah, I just wish that people didn't have to die in order for people to learn from that mistake of you know, drug addiction, especially opioid addiction. You know, like some of these brothers who have been on these opioids and had a problem with opioids that have have lived to tell the tale they have, they
have to tell some of their stories. That's why I really enjoyed, um, you know, talking to Meek Mill this week, you know, and we're gonna we're gonna play that conversation next hour so you can hit what Meek had to say about, you know, opioids and perks and all that
good stuff. One thing I've been seeing a lot this week is a lot of artists and that have been on lean or that we're using lean or using opioids and using drugs, saying that they're going to stop by the way I thought Tripp be read say that, and I believe them, but I'm letting them know right now, it's not gonna be that easy. If you've been using opioids and perks and all of that stuff for a while, you're gonna need some type of rehab. And don't be
afraid to go to rehab these with my brothers. Okay, don't just say hey, I'm gonna, you know, quit this cold turkey, because it may not be that easy for you. Depending on how long you've been using it, you might really be addicted and not know. And lastly, Kuavo from The Me Goes he said he just produced his first horror film. It's called The Resort, coming soon out with the Old No No Yeah, but he said he's uh produced his first horror film, so we'll look forward to that.
It seems like they're doing the other things just just music, which I love. Keep the money keep coming in and other streams. So congratulations to him. Listen to I want to say arrest in piece to Xxx Tantashion. He put out an album called on Bad Vibes Forever, and I saw a bunch of the young uns in my comments because you know I'm old. I'm old, Uncle Charlotte, shut up, man, I'm doing this for the kids, so you know I'm old.
So I had a bunch of people I mentioned saying Xxx and Tasha, you mentioned you on this new album, mentioned you on this new album, and I it took me about an hour to figure out what he was saying. But the only reason I figured it out is because I had to ask people where younger than me, and I had to go to genius Okay, what do you say, let's hear it. Oh my trouble runs. No storm up from money on your own shame. There is excuses kins showing first shut bay. He says, light skin light Sharma
man shut up. And it did not help that we had to bleep that. Just now. You don't understand what you saying. I thought he said light skin like one more time and listen, because it's a bleep, it's a reverse. Let's listen. Listen, listen, No storm up from money on your own shore. Excuses kin showing first shut by our producer Reverse funk Flex name too. I don't care. I'm not a hater like that. But he said, he said, I might drop a bomb on your head. Funk Flex. Yeah,
blew up notes to dame, I put money on your head. Yeah, shorty, I'm an a hole like Charlemagne. Oh, I'm I supposed to know that. I am I supposed to know that that Kids was the kid Kids was in my YouTube yesterday and on my Instagram hitting me. I'm saying Yo mentioned you on his new album and they was selling go listen to attention. I didn't know what the hell was going on. I think he said light skinned like Charlemagne. Now what do you think he said? Drums like skinning
some about you. I'm on cash for some of some of the he said, I'm an a hole like Charlomagne. That's what he said, light skinning a whole, same difference. I'm not in a a hole. I'm a nice guy. I sound like my a hole, sounding just like my a hole just now, especially after I used some beans. I hate this ship. I hate this ship. All right, Well that was your rumor report. Now he hoole, who are you giving your donkey too? Listen, m four after the hour, when you this young man to come to the front
of the congregation. I don't want to say his name because I want to say his name as little as possible. But this is uh. When turning out from and pretending to be what you you know, I didn't say you turning on the mute, you pretend to be correct. Yeah, he's pretending to be the wrong thing. That's the hell I'm trying to say. We'll talk about it for after that. All right. It's the breakfast lub. Come on, I was born to donkey. It's the donkey of the deaf, Charlemagne
devil breakfast club. Yes Donkey Today for December Friday, the thirteenth goes to a came California man named Steve Homoki. Okay, Steve is thirty years old and was arrested in charge with possession of an assault weapon, possession of a high capacity magazine, and child endangerment. Now what did Steve Hemoki do to get all these charges? Let's go to ABC News for the report. Police authorities arresting a man in San Diego. They suspect may have been rehearsing a deadly plot.
The suspect, police a poosted videos of himself carrying out what they call a rehearsal of a terrorist mouth shooting in downtown San Diego is under arrest. The chilling images show a man inside a room at the Sofia Hotel repeatedly aiming and pretending to shoot people. The man, identified by investigators as thirty year old Stephen Humoki, is seen changing out magazines and guns, the videos showing at least two assault style rifles and ammunition scattered on the floor.
The videos were posted in September, but according to the search warrant, the FBI didn't learn about them until more than two months later from an anonymous tip The tipster said the suspect had gone off the deep end, reporting fears that he is planning something. Authorities arresting Humoki at his home without incident on charges including possession of an assault weapon and high capacity magazine. I don't even ask
why anymore. As of October thirty first, twenty nineteen, it's been three hundred and seventy mass shootings in the United States this year. Three hundred and seventy. Okay, we are all scared of the domestic terrorists known as vanilla. Isis one of the reasons I have social anxiety in places with a lot of people. It's because of the threat are perceived threat of mass shootings in America. Okay, it's not just powerball in mega millions when it comes to
mass shootings. Hey, you never know. This is exactly why giving these people attention. It's so dangerous. Of course, you have to report when it's a mass shooting. But these mass shootings become infamous, all right. They want to be infamous, these folks. These folks think is you know, this is how they become immortalized. Okay. When I was younger, absolutely pretended to be things and people that I wanted to be.
It could range from the local drug dealing in your neighborhood to your uncle who worked at UPS who had a nice house in the BMW. What did you pretend to be when you were young, Envy, I pretended to be? Probably Batman? All right? Well, whether it's the local drug dealer or your uncle who worked at UPS who had a nice house in the BMW, are batman? What did those three things have in common? They was getting money,
I ain't. They were hustlers, that's all. That's all we ever pretended to be growing up, people who were making moves and getting money. That's fly. That's what I wanted to be growing up, successful, all right and fly. And there's absolutely nothing fly and about being a mass shooter. Okay, being a mass shooter should not be a career goal. In fact, if you are sitting around with thoughts of being a mass shooter, I am truly praying for you because you need therapy, all right. You need some type
of counseling. Someone needed to sit down and build with you about all that pain you're feeling, all that hurt you have inside you. Because, like I always say, hurt people hurt people, and when you don't deal with that hurt inside of you and you end up redistributing that pain to other people. Now, would you like to hear with the mass shooting rehearsal video? Sounds like inside Edition has the audio un down? More to go? Mag you pick up another right, you drop the gun, pick up
another gun. I wonder if the world was always just crazy and we didn't see it, but now with social media, we are able to see all the crazy everywhere, because it's starting to be overwhelming. I usually hate when people announced their plans before they execute them on social media. You know, the type will go to record labels or go to TV networks and take videos in front of the logo with a caption like never not working or hashtag blast. But this is one of those moments where
I am absolutely glad it's less work, more announcements. Now. He could easily get dunk here today for this. I could leave it right here, but nope. The reason he's getting Dunk here today is because he did an interview from jail and he said this, I did not just kind of like a little art project just from myself, A kind of got to get into somebody said and just want to relax, maybe gets a little bit fun and difference. He said it was a miniature art project.
He wanted to relax, do something a little fun, a little something different. What about hiking, biking? Learn how to cook and learn how to bake? How about masturbate? There's a million different things you could do that are relaxing, fun and different, and rehearsing a mass shooting is not one of them. My guy, If you want to play with guns, play Call of Duty. Okay, I don't care to this Christmas, nobody got time for your little reindeer games.
I hope he gets at least a decade in prison for playing like this, because some things you shouldn't be able to play about, and murdering multiple people for no reason at all is one of them. Now, before we move on, let's play a very obvious game of guess
what right today? All right, guys? Steve Amoki, thirty years old, arrested in charge with possession of an assault weapon, possession of a high capacity magazine, and child endangerment, all because he was pretending to rehearse a mass shooting because he wanted to relax him do something a little fun and different. Dj yay. Yes, guys, what rights he yes? Say his last name again, Steve um Homoki Moki. That's the only thing that's less of me because I'm think of Steve Aoki. Man.
Shut up, man, it's Amoki or the whole Humoki name in meaning. If you must know, Hamoki families moved over time. The Homoki family name was found in the USA in nineteen twenty and nineteen twenty there with three Humoki families living in Michigan. This is about twenty seven sent of all the recording Homokes in the USA. Michigan have the highest population of hamokeis white. Yes we knew this, alright,
I'm right, yes, yes, everybody knew this, all right. I just wanted to just make it absolutely clear that the mayonnaiates was very heavy in this one. So please let Kathy Griffin get Steve Homoke the biggest heah, please give this giant jaro male the biggest he haw Steve. Do you want to say the white demon? I just want to say the Jersey City shooters were black. Boy. If you don't get the got this damn studio right now, on this studio, you have to do nothing. Shut up.
I don't even know why I did. I ask him, Yes, ask him for that. Ud, I didn't know when you kind of did? I kind of did, Steve? What Steve? She just shut up? Steve, Jesus goodness gracious? All right. Up next, Charlotte Mane kicked it with Meek Mill a couple of days ago. Yes, I went to the Bahamas the God Bill with me. You know, he just got nominated for a Grammy for Championships. Um, very well deserved Grammy nomination, right, so we're gonna get that back on
ye if you're gonna talk about that. And he's working on new music and he's got thoughts on a whole lot of things. He had a really great year, all right, So we'll talk to him when we come back. It's the Breakfast Club. Come morning, everybody. It's DJ MV and Jela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club now. A couple of days ago, Charlomagne flew out to the Bahamas to kick it with Meek Mill. They talked about
a lot, but let's get into it. Mike Mogul, Yeah, that's your new name, man, Meek Mogul, Meek Billy Billy, Yeah, College they called college billy billy. How close do you feel like you are to that? Man twenty twenty three, twenty five like that, I believe it's possible. I saw you post the other day. He was like, YEO, when I hit that hundred million, I'm gonna put it on the GRAM. I'm gonna post that. I let people see how that look. Like nobody never showed me how that look.
When I was poor, swine had dreams of aspirations for that. As I got on the music like that, I used to think, like a million dollars, this was like the world even one hundred million dollars some people that in the world. But to where we come from, it's like extreme wealth from the levels that poverty we come from. I like everything you're doing, man, it feel like you've
really really found your purpose. Yeah, you know you're letting me hear a bunch of records just now, Like how much did your your your new music reflect with you stand for right now? It always been mixed up like that. I just I was talking a whole one time. It's just like I heard on your Lads album, Like it's not what you says how you say certain things, like you know you might hear holding them pop some shrap. I forgot what he says them. It was like, uh,
through a through a hands free something like that. I still don't know what that is. But he say, just get you touched through a hands frix. But you know what I mean, it's the way he said it, the way I would have said it. Y'all. Put a check on check on your head, Like there's just different ways, like how you create, you deliver art, and you deliver people when you get to certain levels and you're growing and you're try and reach the masses. So I think
this year I got a good advice. I thirty two, grown a little bit, so you know that comes with experience, an education or right, yeah, hell yeah, getting an education from the greatest one of the greatest rappers were the greatest rapper in my book. You're getting a class or get information straight from him as experiences that I went through at this age. So yeah, I wonder what you acted. On your first album, Dreams and Nightmares, you had a
song called Traumatize Yeah. But then on your Championships album Grammy nominated by the way, you got a song called trauma yeah. So so how have you changed mentally from the time you wrote the first song to the second. The first one, like the first song on Trauma, I'm I'm sick. I'm in the hood. I got the hood mentality, Like you know what I mean, I kill anybody or do anything just for the dumbest reasons, and my mind traumatized either hit him talking about want to kill a
guy that killed my dad. Me Now, I just I don't know if i'd be able to see you and control my emotion somebody that killed my father. But me, I don't even think about like that a little more. I think tim Hill everything all right. It ain't know my gender to do. But as an eighteen year old kid nineteen years old, probably when I wrote that rap, that was my mind frame. That was what I was feeling. So I think over like growth and ship like that,
I'm changing. It's just different situations. Me probably at traumatized when I was doing that. When I was thinking that way, I still was being in the hood. I was still around murder, still could have got murdered any day, being in them environments, being paranoid, trying to protect yourself, being around definitely like that. Uh, I'm being out the hood kind of a little more for the last few years, so I don't have the same type of mentality fully,
but it's still there. You think you've done anything to like try to deal with that trauma. Yeah, hell yeah. I've been smoking weed all week. I'm smoking all that. I got a hundred friends that have been murdered. We lay down in the bid we got smoke something to take the bena drill something. You start thinking about ten of your homies that got killed last year, so it'd be like a little Yeah I smoked. I used to I used to take perchs I was talking about on
your show. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I used to take perks and like that. But all that came from like a balance of dealing with ship like that. Like we just got a kid out of jail, well, not got him out of jail, the Philadelphia's Public Defender's Office got him out of jail, and we supported it. And uh he went to jelf for not having nineteen hundred. Basically, like you got judges that sending kids to jail for support. Yeah, but that's just one thing. You know, you get sent
the jail for taking precocess off of smoking weed. But me from experience of living in the hood. I know these young kids as coming to this court room. They shot at by police, their brothers got murdered in front of their moms, in front of their face, all types of rush they've been through. Friday the thirteenth, very day, you're gonna lock them up for smoking weed at night because they're going But y'all subscribing the soldiers and saying his medicine. You know what I'm saying is what was
my point I was making. I lost You know what I'm talking about. You know how to deal with the trauma, but you can't just you can't get a kid like just drugs. I ain't giving them now. I'm telling you what I was there. Man. I'm talking about having twenty thirty homies and being rich, coming from poverty and growing so far away from your people, and there's so many things. You gotta cut people off. You gotta deal with people being famous or that you gotta act like you happy.
If I go to a family cookout, I tell my family I'm not trying to talk to one ten people at one time, because before I was famous, I didn't used to talk to people at one time, so I would be fake coming to a family event and just trying to cater to everybody because I'm a celebrity. That's the type that makes people like the press go through. There's so many different compartments to it. So you know, me, that was the way what I do so I get
some sleep. I can't sleep at night, so you know, I might spark up here and then I'm about to stop smoking right now tomorrow when I go back from the Behamas, just for a little period of time, so I won't be addicted to know. Yeah, that's the other part of reform though, right can you talk about then they're sending these babies to jail. They all got addicted wig that mama, so they dads and that. So once they get introduced it to it, you want to be honest.
So me, I don't want to be addicted to anything. You know, I think weed is not a hardcore drug, but I only want to be addicted to that or at liot, at anything. When they told you was nominated for a Grammy for Championships to how did you feel, I ain't really feel nothing for real for you band that we've been all the way technical. I was excited, but like me, I've been doing this for a long time.
I'm real vetanity with me. I feel personally, I came from Philadelphia era, era of having to stand on the corner, and I'm not a battle rat. When people say that they were like, it making me mad a little bit because I'd be like, I was only bad when people when you see me on corners, because that's what was going on. People was rapping on the corners, and when we got to studios, you ain't see me rapping on the corner with people anything like that. So I've been
rapping for ten years. I ain't never really get nominated for nothing. So when I get nominated for something me, I'm not really gonna like, it's not gonna excite me to the fullest extent it's supposed to, because who's judging me. I don't even understand the process. I would really be lying to you if I told you that, yes, I do. I think a Grammy is the highest form of a musical awards you can achieve in our world that we're in right now, but just not even towards them or anybody.
If you've been making music and being good for ten years and never really been acknowledged, it ain't really gonna make you really jump when you do get acknowledged. You know what I'm saying, It's like I'm a street rapper. I'm like gangster, hardcore street rapper. I come from that. We've always been like categorized as the guys that our art didn't really match up to, like the commercial you are the guys who are like from me towards America
with their music, so you just don't need their validation. Basically, no, I don't need nobody validation. If you know me, Jay Zinka will give me a million, two hundred million dollars, I'm gonna walk off like nothing ain't going on. Everybody know me, I'm not gonna get excited. Maybe if I went that ship in my hand, I might change it, but just from me doing it. I know. Sometimes I
see people get awards over man blood. I know I'm better than them in that category, that specific categories, and they might make me feel insecure or less of a person because I'm letting that that academy judge my talent of a skill. Sometimes I could go to your here, so I always try to remove that. I remove billboards numbers and like that. Like when my album do good. This a Meek mild so three hundred first week, you ain't gonna see me post that morning once like I'm
gonna do it. I'm gonna put it up, but I ain't gonna keep posting that like that's what it's about, because that don't really drive me and make me excited. All Right, we got more with Meek men when we come back. Let's get into a Meek Mill mini mix. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning everybody. It's DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club Now. A couple of days ago, Charlomagne flew out to the Bahamas to keep you with Meek Mill, took about his album,
his Grammy nomination, and of course prison reform. Let's listen in. What do you think is the most effective way to combat police brutality? Right now? I don't know. I came from the track. I don't know how to combat I get caught up the interviews a lot, trying to be like a fucking Martin Luther King and trying to call again crazy solution like I got booked the gun, I got lott up with a pistol. I used to I
dropped out of school in eleventh grade like that. When they asked me what about Donald Trump, and I'd be like, I don't know. I'm from North Philly. I don't know about that. I don't know what you could do to stop it. But I know I'm not accepting it, and my mentality that is normal anymore. I said, step getting beat up by police was normal. Getting shot at. I got Homie right here, he got shot at by the police.
We were talking about this two days ago. And here, I said, you got shot at by the police, and you got charged with a tempted murder. You know why they had to charge him with attempted murder, had to make up a reason why they shot at him. But I told him, I'm like, look, and this is a person that beat with me every day. I said, if you came and told this story in front of Mike and I'm there, be amazed. But in our world, we never even bring that shut up. We've never even been
thought about it. We got people like that around us every day. So you know, because it's normalized, Yeah, it's normal. So my mentality, me, my family and people I could teach, we teaching it ain't normal even Michael rum Me. He actually taught me a white man that don't come from my community where I come from. I was like, yeah, no, that's the type they sent me the jail for they've been doing. He like, that's not normal, Like it is normal. He got said, It's like, no, that's not normal like that.
You've been thinking like that. That makes me mad at you think like that. And I kind of called on and I start seeing the way he lived. He around, put a cell phone out in the courtroom, and they ain't gonna carry him out of that courtroom. It's just a it's a difficult level of respect for the white man and the black man, or the brown man in the system or the brown woman in the system. And
it's a clear cut. And now I got billionaires and called Cajun people who have sense, who have power saying that these things don't make any sense on our side. So it just bringing them like a real level of awareness. And I'm using it and taking it to the fullest extent that I can. Is that what made you open
your eyes to it? When you have the conversations with the Michael Ruples and you're telling them it's two Americas, and they starting to hear about these things that are normal to us and they looking like a crazy part is And now I'm thinking about it. Michael Ruleman said that to me before one time she sent me the jail, probably in two thousand and fourth Sea. When she sent me in the jail, was basically over the dumbie. I don't even remember what she sent me in the jail for.
She sent me so many times it was like not committing crime. So I was in jail where I was at mentally in my life. I felt like I kind of was about the crash from gonna lean making bad decisions. And so when she sent me the jail, I'm talking to jail, I'm like, yeah, man, I probably needed to be in head man, my life was moving a little funny. He's said, you don't never need to be in a jail. You don't need to be locked away about no animal to get your sense to sit down and think, that's
not never the solution. If you ain't committing crying, you're no threat. Ain't supposed to go to jail just because your head ain't thinking right. You know what I'm saying, change your environment anything. And that was like my first eye opener to like that she wasn't normal because the way they were saying it to him, and they were
saying it with aggression. How do you what conversation did you have with your son, like on one level just about any of this when you talk about the corruption of the system, you know, knowing the experiences you went through as a black man, but his experience is gonna be totally different because I don't even talk to my
son about that type of stuff. Really at this point, my son eight, he liked played Fortnite, Like, I don't even want to introduce him yet into worlds that he don't even had to be introduced to, like when I grew up everybody, but like, you're bad, You're bad, You're bad. I told me I'm bad five thousand times. I'm five years old. Now I want to be bad, you know
what I'm saying. What I'm saying, like, I don't even want to introduce my son into even putting that in his head of I don't think he needed that type of training to you about thirteen, fourteen years old, So I'm trying to stay away from it. Like he don't understand here, Like whyre you in dad jail? I popped. Are you in jail? Dad? I was riding a motorcycle, popping Willie. But I ride motorcycles with him every day, seven days a week. In the Caucasian suburban neighborhood. You
ain't supposed to ride on the street. But all the neighbors got box. You think they wanna call a cops on all of us? Who gona go to jail? Now? So he don't really understand it, So, you know, I just kind of leave it that day. I don't think he had the age to really ain't gonna get up here and sound like the perfect dad like. And he took my son how to stay away from police at the age of eight. No, I keep that out of
his life. He's been my son. I've been a jail probably three times since my son was like five, and none of the time when he come in and asked me, I don't know what the hell to say. I just know not the lot of my son and say I'm in school or prison. I don't know what to say last time because it was it was an emotional situation. But I ain't lying. When the first time talking to my son that the week and a half two, I'm
in jail. Hopefully I get out soon. But I went to jail for some stupid Ryan bikes like we do all the time. This is a situation. My son is saying, like, oh, and we leave it at that. Talk to me about blue Face in your new artists, Young Row. I saw that playing out on Instagram another day. I probably knew John Row seventeen days. Him and blue Face is going back to back and everything is meek artists, meek artists. Well, I've not been around ten years. About is DJ Academics
posting blue Face talking about Young Row on Instagram? He posted it three or four times in a row, like I watched him. Everybody tactical and like strategic. Three posts of blue Face talking about Young Row. I'm like, Young Row knew he not even nobody even knew him yet. So what is leading up to my name being that? What else is going to lead up to whack one? Hunt saying? So now what I'm saying something? Now what this is a kid I just met a week ago.
They just signed the one to make some money with him. Now I'm in the middle of a beef. I got laws that, I got real shit going on. I don't even and me I'm scared to be in the middle of this show. I don't want to be a law chain. I'm trying to live my life. I'm trying to make a few mistakes. I don't want to be here. But I had to make sure make that known that like I don't even entertain that type and will lead me out of that. Like Roe, I'm here from him. I
will help support them. We got built, I gotta I gotta actually notice, just because we're getting money together, let's go for any rapper that do business with me. Just because we signed this week, don't mean that, like our lives, who I beef with becomes your beef. Like you know, I got real kids in the house. I got a whole family tree I take care of. I would be pretending if I was out here acting like every artist I signed his problem problems. His life problem is my
life problems. That's not the case. I do anything for real. I'm giving them opportunity to change his family life. The way that the people was setting it up, the bloggers, it was there was lyning something up. Really what I see, But your life don't change over night when you signed a deal, though, right like you ain't suppsed to give to just immediately go by your mom a house. Yeah, even comparing jewelry to family members. Like what conversation is, Like,
what is the basis of this conversation? We got black people comparing stones and metal to their moms and like that. I'm not even getting the basis of the debate. He's saying, I ain't buy no jury because I gotta get my mom and I'm night before I buy jury. It's none. I think blue Face Sho'll respect that. I know he respect that. I know Whack respect that. I respect that. And Row he made me like him even more for even saying that. With him and Blue Face having words,
it helped. You're a young new artist. Nobody don't know that kid at the time, and all that there was helped. I like, man, make sure you handle that right. Man. Don't turn your rap until you coming in and beef. And you said in front the streets, you went through a lot of shop, get in, get your money, let them know how you feel, but don't just be creating the chaos and little bloggers, academics, y'all this that stop even pumping because when y'all pumping it in the middle
of when it happened. You don't know, Young Row. You don't know if Blue facing them real gang bangers, murderers. You don't know if Young Rolling I'm real murderers. Are you posting this four times and trying to like Gass? I understand that bloggers have a job to do, but don't blaz only post no shot or instigating that with any of my artists. I'm not the white owners with us. Is Jay Z at Rock Nation, it's Meek Mill at dream Chase. We gotta merge label. We're not the white owners,
so we're handing them a little different. I ain't beefing with my artists, but you ain't just gonna blatantly take the kids and throw them away in the trash and make them crash. And I know how to stop that. When we come back. We got more with Meek Mill. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club Morning. Everybody is Steve dj Envy and Jula Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club now. A couple of days ago, Charlomagne flew out to the Bahamas to kick it with
Meek Mill. They talked about a lot, but let's get into it. Whatever we're Roddy Rich, nothing ain't happened Dy with me and Riddy Rich got mega coming. I don't know, like man, Riddy wasn't seeing out of eye. You know they're younger than me. I'm thirty two. You gotta really think about it soon. When I'm dealing with these young boys that's twenty two and twenty one, I always treat them like we're the same age because they grown men
at the same time. We wasn't seeing out of Eyeta at a time he knew I wasn't seeing out of out with him. I knew I wasn't. I knew the same thing. He felt the same way as a as an older guy, as a as a person who leading away. I can't be beating when they're younger. That I just tried to put on it. We stand in the same house, we're eating together very night. We just poured up, bust it up. I'm deil. It was our own personal things.
I need five hundred thousand right now. I know I could call Roddy and Rady five hundred thousand if I was up. How how do you know growing up in the hood? You know, I guess, I guess shape your your mental health. I went back in my hood just like just with there new way I'll be thinking. Now I really got around people. I was like, damn, it's a lot of crazy people and they're not crazy one a lot of people that had mental health where we
come from. And it's not just a coincidence that these people have a large group of people having in these areas, I believe just going through the shape going through I'm talking about Friday the thirteenth. What's the most scariest movie America has ever seen? Which? What movie is that? Like?
What's the top movies? I mean, I used to think all those movies were scary, but now seeing this we see on the internet life that for like Judges and like dais like that when you're saying, since that kid that got locked up with a gun, taking a consideration that a hundred people got murdered in this neighborhood in the last hundred days, he might be mentally sick, paranoid, post traumatic stress, depress, everything in one. So let's take
that into consideration. This is Friday the thirteenth in these areas. How to feel when you got free? Man, it ain't really kick it if it felt surreal it felt kind of like surreal. It's just as days went by, probably two months when by woke up one day like damn, that's why I'm doing like this. I couldn't do like this. Just get up and record my album in a studio in the Bahamas, or get up and just go to
a different country. You might be overwhelmed, you see, like celebrities and these kids, they'd be on pills and getting high like that. Sometimes get overwhelming, Like I might just want to get up and just go to another country and get away from all the negatives. I'm telling you that I come from for a week because we got family and so we still got to make it back some way. But you might want to get away for a month. I couldn't do those things have to be
after be in condition. I have to call a po all the time. You still reach for your phone, like, oh about my pio probably a week ago, and I'm like, I'm gonna call it. Because she was actually a good PO. You know, she had a model probation and she asked me that I have a problem when I was addicted to opioids. I said, yeah, she wanta got me help. When you when you talk about being addicted to opioids, and you see a lot of these young rappers dying
because of opioid use. Yeah, do you ever be like, yeah, I escaped, I escaped the bullet with that. Yeah, hell yeah, I'll be. I'll be telling them like I'm damn near a preacher. I'm gonna have I'd be having to tell a young guy, yo, brother, you know it's really a killed you, Like no, your decision making up make you forget, Like when I'm saying it to him, I want them know like, no, I'm telling you because this happened to me at one point. I'm telling it happened to me,
it happened to you. If you say you look up to me. Sometimes people gotta go through their own life life experiences like Juice, Juice that she was sucked up. It had to be that way, Like you never want nobody life experiences to be deaf or like they can come out of But for the ones that's doing it, that that have a chance to change, you know, you might gotta go through a life experience. Me, I had to go through my own life experience to not want to do that. How much blames your rappers get for
those young kids drug use. You know how much social media get regular fans for bashing these little kids all day on Instagram, these little I'll be looking at a situation like Summer Walker. They said she like to deal with anxiety. Yeah, she probably really dealing what is absolutely but nobody don't give. They're talking about how you ain't performed right, how you ain't do this right, how you ain't they want you now, don't give you, get on pills and die for real, for real, they bashing. It
ain't gonna stop. If you could tell, you could she could tell people, Yo, I'm depressed, I'm tired, give me a break, but I gotta shoot it that I gotta do the show. If she won't perform right, then you think they're going give a about her mental health. No, they don't give. And I've just been That was like the last situation I've been watching from the outside because I've been through that. I've been through like, uh my Instagram, everybody got five thousand LS. That was unbelievable to me.
I don't even think that was possible, but that that was the case. Like I was, I was cool with Meek done. He finished like it was so many people talking bad about me at one time. I haven't even experienced that. But you're not come from the hood people busting on the sneaks a day when they up, he was busting on your mom. So I could withstand it. These younger kids, they're coming up from different environments, getting on that celebrities and then get bashed all day. They're
gonna take some pills when they go to sleep. You got five thousand people telling you you're a piece of day, Like, yeah, yeah, I'm gonna blame the rappers. How are you gonna blame the rapper? You're gonna blame the fans. Huh. That's why I can't. I can't blame the rappers. I think it's layers to it. I think people are born with a lot of these things already, the anxiety and depression, and when they get on these drugs and they start self
medicating and help them find that escape they're looking for. Yeah, so I can't. I can't really just put it on the music, even though the music does glorify and make that look. I was with a kid, and I'm gonna tell you the truth. These drugs helping these kids reach thoughts that they can't reach sober, and they've fallen in love with that. When they come into the booth, they could try to come into them, so but I smoke
every night. You try to come into the booth and try to reach those deep thoughts and can't really connect because your mind ain't going that for us. So they just be doing drugs and going places and saying things. You ever heard them say? What made you think of that dark deep you know what I'm saying. And a lot of artists be living in that so you know, I don't think nobody to blame for that ship, but the percose, that company to blame for the blocking you body,
if it's killing us. Did you have any scars when you was walling on the taking? I never, I never disclosed it. Never. I tell them taking ten thirties percocessor, that you're walking with duck dad real pop two in the morning, they're gonna wear off by four, which Joe Ben saying, I'm saying too much overhead, But you're telling the truth. Yeah, but kids can't learn from this. Don't let them stop you because some of their favorite artists popping twenty thirties on a low about to die, and
nobody cater into what's going on. I had to get into myself and popping ten persu you're a junkie, don't well, I ain't come up like that, so you know, I had to make a decision with myself, you're gonna be a hot pill pop or you're gonna be a millionaire boss up type and they ain't mixed. I ain't never see a millionaire boss up pill pop in my life. What was the wake up call? Like? Was it your team?
Was it myself? My decision making all types of sh I like, I don't even want to like keep making this decision because they make this like a storyline, yo, When I be going back at trying to figure out like why I really like when I make decisions and I like make and I do know why I did it. If you asked me about like why I came at Drake,
I wouldn't even really really really know. Like everybody saying nicky is that wasn't the case, Like they always had their relationship before me and like that soon and my mind was soon what they jumped with each other before I got in a situation. I can never like let that be one reason why I'm mad at him. Like all folks some type of way. I just ain't really know. When I look back, I'm like, you know what I want to do something like it was you was getting high.
I know. I'm just saying, though, like certain music for my neighborhood to come at me. I'll be in the hood. And when you went, I'm making very bad decisions and not know them. I'm making these bad decisions. And when I wasn't high, and I look back and went on YouTube and check my file, like I don't do like that. All right, Well, Charlemagne, that seemed like a great conversation with Meek. It is man. It's like an hour long.
You can go check it out on my YouTube page, YouTube dot com, backslash, see to God, ctcha g l D. We're about to release it on YouTube right now. So, yeah, Meek Man meets in a good head faces. It's always a beautiful thing when people find that purpose, you know. I mean I can look at certain people like I can look at you Envy and say, damn, Envy really found his purpose with that Real Estate's gonna Joe, if it's gonna be a head plug joke. I was waiting
for it. You know, when you know, if you don't know somebody real serious, I would never say that that wig you got on your head is your purpose, all right, And in fact, I can't even believe you're wearing that on purpose. This is not a wig. This is not a wig. I actually cut some of my curls off. But what I'm saying is when I see that when you do the real estate thing, like that's your purpose. Like you really enjoy helping people, You really enjoy helping
people build generational wealth. I really love mental health advocacy. That's something that I love to do. And you know, me clearly has found his purpose with that reforms thinging man. And it's just like, yo, you're you're using your life experiences, right, You're using those things that you went through that possibly could have held you back to help others. Man. So salute to what Meek is doing. I respect it absolutely, all right. When we come back, we got the People's
Choice mixed. Shout to Jamie Fox. Today's birthday, so let's get some Jamie Fox on in the mix. Revote. We'll see you guys next year, all right. Revote. You guys are off. All right now, Charlemagne, Yes sir, Now you flew out to Bahamas to kick it with Meek. Yeah, yea with Meek Mill on Wednesday. Man, So that's up
on YouTube right now. I'm sure it'll be all over the internet in a minute. But yeah, man, I just I just like the fact that people people find their purpose. Man. And I think that when you begin to think with purpose, like you just enter the ranks of like very strong people who only recognize failure is one of the pathways to attainment. Like, like I said earlier, I know that you found your purpose with this real estate thing. Yes, so I found my purpose with you know, mental health advocacy.
Somebody like Meek has found his purpose with you know, helps with prison reform, and I just think that's very dope. Man. When you start seeing brothers walking in their purpose, man, we unstoppable baby, that's like, that's like the starting point of all achievement, finding out what your purpose is. Man. So I hope that everybody out there eventually finds this
absolutely well. I want to tell everybody, man, if you're in the New York, New Jersey area, there's an open casting call in New York, New Jersey today and tomorrow for the new miniseries based on Uptown Records.
