The Waldsmost Dangerous Morning Show, the Breakfast Club. What club y'all together? Y'all are like a mega for us. Y'all just took over every past this Chris Brown, I've officially joined the Breakfast Club say something. I'm with it, Waldmost Dangerous Morning Show, Breakfast Club desitiones, Good morning Us say yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo. Wait a minute, we stood the bunk Bed Boys. We're

not No, We're not the bunk Bed Brothers right now. Okay, the bunk Bed Brothers was something we did yesterday. It was a demo. All right, We're gonna be doing that, UM Midnight, the One in the Morning starting in twenty twenty one and radio stations all across the country. I don't know, I'm just making all this up. Angelee is out? What's Poppa shall a man? Peace? Did up? Playing it is Friday? Yes, it's Friday, good morning, not just Friday.

UM our last live show of the year, okay, Being that COVID nineteen hit us the way that they hit us, this year. Um, you know, we've been broadcasting from home a lot. We our last in studio show was March twenty third. Then we came back, and when we came back on September ninth, that's when I announced the Black Effect Podcast Network that we came back in mid October.

I think it was right, yep, yep, sounds right. Yeah, So we haven't, um, we haven't used any vacation vacation days this week this year, right, I think I used like one, So we got a lot of vacation hours left. So today is our last live show of the year. Absolutely, well, yeah, that's what we think. But then they called us and said some guests wanted to come through next week that uh oh, I forgot about. That's never been on the

Breakfast Club. And you know, sometimes there's there's opportunities where we don't want to uh pass, So I forgot about that. I don't want even say who the guests up, but they they're good people, they're friends of me, and Charlemagne that's never been on the Breakfast Club, that has some things they want to discuss and talk about. So we got to give them that opportunity. And people that I hate talking to over zoom. Absolutely know what I mean.

That's that's that's That's the one thing I'm looking forward to the most when all of this is behind us, is no more zoom conversations. Okay, actually having people in studio again, looking them in their eyes, discussing whatever the hell we're discussing. I'm so sick of zoom everything. Lord have mercy. Somebody sent me somebody said, sent me a link yesterday to a zoom for something I gotta do today, and my stomach started hurting. Yeah yeah, a computer stream

too long and my head will start hurting. Yeah, me too. I get a little dizzy every once in a while. But today we have a couple of people joining us, and you know, a lot of times we do a lot of righteousness. We do a lot of ratchets, ratchet this on the show and sometimes perfect balance. So today there's a young lady name Lyric who I talked about before. Her Instagram page is young Chanelle, beautiful young girl. I believe she's twelve or thirteen years old. She developed some

type of brain cancer. If you follow Cardie B or Beyonce traded truth me dj e Feeze a little duval, you see these young ladies a journey and how she went from everything's okay from her singing the dancing to her having brain cancer. And I'm trying to get this cancer out of her brain and the tumor continues to grow. And we're doing a fundraiser for her this Sunday, and

that's for treatment. That's for her family because they had to move out of their home in Atlanta and go to Houston because Houston as one of the best, I guess treatment centers for children's cancer. So we want to help her. So we're gonna talk to the mom today and just talk about what's been going on with her. And I know a lot of us out there, I have kids, just some of the signs to look for. So we're gonna talk to her. And also name is Monica. Monica, Yes,

and my guy, uh DJ Shock. He's from South Carolina.

You know what I'm saying. He's somebody that I came up with in my early radio days in South Carolina, and um, he hit me up because you know, like a lot of DJ's and radio personalities, this lifestyle can catch up to us, you know literally, Yeah, the late nights, the no sleep, the not eating right, things of that nature, and it caught up with DJ Shock And you know, my man DJ Shock, he needs a kidney transplant, right, So we're gonna have him on this morning to tell

his story and hopefully we can hopefully we can find him a kidney. Yeah, And I'm gonna sound a little stupid. I mean, I sound stupid before I didn't know that. You know, you can give up a kidney and everything could be okay. Because when when you first told me about I'm like, damn, you could give somebody your kidney and be a right or it has to be one of those things where you know, how somebody just got into a car accident and they are dying, and then

they could take the kidney. But you can never heard of a kidney transplant. I have, but I always thought that it was somebody that was in a car accident and were dying having and they could take the kidney before the person dies. You know. In the back end the license, they said, do you want to donate your organs? And that's what I thought. I didn't know that you could. So now I'm not the highest grade of weed of the dispensary, but I've watched enough movies and TV shows

to know that what you just said is absolutely not true. Yes, you can give up your kidney when you're alive, Envy, I didn't know. I'm sorry, hell was wrong with you? Look I did. I did not know. I'm telling you, and it's good to say you don't know. That's the problem with the world that we live in now, Everybody trying to act like they know what the hell they'd be talking about when they don't, when the easiest thing

to say is I don't know and ask them questions. So, yes, you can give up your kidney, and hopefully we'll fin one for DJ shock this morning. All right, Well, let's get the show crack in front page news. Angela is out, so I'm sure we're talking coronavirus and we'll get into this. It's a breakfast level. We are the breakfast club. Let's

getting some front page news now. Last night and Thursday night football, the Rams beat the Patriots twenty four two three all right, and also six time All Star forward Paul George has signed a maximum contract extension with the Clippers that guarantees him two hundred and twenty six million dollars over the next five years. Yeah, I'm happy to

see any black man getting their money. You know what I'm saying, Um, but I don't see why the Los Angeles Clippers will be paying Paul George George of the twenty six million dollars, Okay, everybody getting his money. He's getting. No, I'm just trying to figure out the business aspect of it. I mean I didn't I didn't see that last year. But whatever trapping include box of Paul George get your money, all right. I just always hope, hope, uh, you know,

becomes the Paul Georgia bold so he he earns that cash. Now, doctor Fauch, he's saying the US could be back to normal by next summer, provided everybody gets vaccinated. So they are still encouraging everybody to get that vac the nation, except pregnant women. They're saying, if you are a pregnant woman, I think the recommendation will be that pregnant women not receive the vaccine until we know more. So Now, yesterday they said you can't I didn't hear the pregnant part.

I heard that you can't get it if you've got serious allergies. Now they're adding pregnant women to the list. Too. Damn you know, they did it so fast. I don't think they hundred percent know everything. I just kind of just guessing at this point. Well, you know, if you're pregnant, maybe you shouldn't chake it right now. You know. Once again, that's y'all dumb mauth if y'all run out there and want to be first with that, Okay, this way to beat,

way to beat. Let everybody else go first. Now, yesterday, this is what's trending in the last two days. A youth football coach is being investigated for child abuse. Now. The coach, his name is Gerald Williams. Uh. It's a video out there. You see the kids coming off the field. Maybe it was a fourth down or maybe it was a fumble. You don't see that part, but the kid is walking up. The kid looks like he's about maybe nine years old, maybe eight, nine years old ten the most.

The coach cocks back and punches the kid in his in his helmet, in his face, like not even like a smack on the helmet. No, he swings on somebody like you would swing on an enemy. Knocks the kid on the floor kids a couple time. Then he hits the kid again. Screaming and yelling. There's a parent that's that's taping it. Now, I don't understand that there's no way that I could be in my son plays football, that I could be watching that even if it's not my kid, and allow that to happen, not just I

was playing on a nine year old snocking happen. I was first. First of all, I was wondering if that was his child. Even if that had was his child, it's not okay. Then I was thinking, all right, well was that like his step child or you know some woman he's dating her child? And I was like, even still, that's still not okay. And then I was like, where was that kid's father, Where was that kid's uncle, Where was that kid's nephew had where was that kid's mother? Yeah? Yeah,

like I used to coach, do that your child? I should get a video. She was like, look, I'm picking up anything I could possibly pick up that's around there, and I'm swinging. She was like, if I lose, I lose. But there's no way you're gonna punch my son like that. Well you gotta say the young man's name. His name was Darrell Williams is the coach that's I said, Jerrell Williams. Well, he did apologize a half ass apology. Can we play right fast. I'm apologized for my actions about what took place.

At the end of the day, I am a man and I'm not gonna make no excuses for what I did. I was wrong. I should have disciplined him in public, should have wait till we got back to doing what he did. At the end of the day, I apologize at him kids the city down here and I found it back at home. I do apologize him. There's no excuse for my actions. You know, he forgave me and his parents have forgiven me, so nobody else should be bash Thank you, he said. He said that he shouldn't

have done it in the public public. No, you should put your hands on that little man at all. And the fact that he said his parents have forgiven me. Who is your who is his daddy? Who is that little boy's daddy? That little boy daddy should have been putting the hands on Jerald Williams, just like Jerald Willdens put his hands on that little boy. Like I don't. I don't understand the reason and for that, like I

don't get it. But I'm a person that don't even beat my kids because you know, I grew up getting some real extensive beatings when I was young and didn't even realize that was the source of a lot of my trauma. You cant beat with an extension card and then your pops make you go take a bath. You be you know that kind of sticks with you. That's why I'm in therapy today at three o'clock through fifteen. Actually, but yeah, he hadn't been to put his hands on

that kid like that. Yeah, I agree with you, but we'll get into it more. Um, that is crazy, but that is your front page news. Get it off your chest. Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. If you need to vent, hit us up right now. Phone lines a wide open. This to Breakfast Club. Good morning, what's up everybody? Y'all just gotta come down and and come get the content. Come by with all check it out. King. All right, we keep a cheating, all right, Get it off your chest eight undred five eight five one on five one. If you need to vent, hit us up. Now it's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. This is your time to get it

off your chest. Whether you're man black, thank it from you on the Breakfast Club. But you got something on your mind. Let I had just time forget it off your chests. And let me shout out to everybody out there that that rocks with me and my wife Gia. Now you know every year we do twelve days a Christmas. Every year we do twelve days at Christmas and if you don't know, twelve days of Christmas. And I started this tradition early on where every day I would get

my wife something for Christmas. It started with something small, whether a letter or a picture, something like, you know, something from the first restaurant that we ever went to, which was Tony Romas or something like that. And then it became when I started making my money, gifts started getting a little better. This year, we're not doing twelve days of Christmas. And the reason for it is it

just doesn't feel right. But everything that's going on in the world, everything that's going on, it doesn't feel right to purchase my wife something every day for Christmas. It it doesn't feel doesn't sit well with us. So what we're doing is we're actually giving back for twelve days

of Christmas. So we're taking twelve families and because people people are struggling, they lost their jobs, they've been furlough, you know, they're praying for you know, that they can get their kids toys for Christmas, or they're praying and that they can't have food for Christmas, or they're praying that they can give clothes and help with a lot

of other things. So instead of buying twelve days of Christmas and paying for twelve days of Christmas, what we're doing is doing twelve days of giving back where we're gonna take, you know, different families and help them out. You know. So if people, I know so many people are asking when is the start? Now we're not doing it this year. I think this is better. I just

it just feels better, you know, it just honestly does. So, um, just just hit it gives DM and my DM and you can hit our email if you listen to the podcasts. And we just want to help families out. I mean, we've we've been blessed, we've been it's been tough during the pandemic, but we all right, we've been okay. So if we can help people, I think we prefer to help people in to do the Twelve Days of Christmas this year. All right, so let's let's continue on. Hello.

Who's this Hey? My name is John from Connecticut. So first thing, first, I just want to give y'all a big shout up. Ye y'all are super duper dope. I'm a cleaner. I listen to y'all all the time on the iHeartRadio app. Rather y'all alive. And um, I've been listening to y'all on YouTube, So real quick. Two things. I just wanted to ask Charlemagne for um, if he could send me, if he could tell me that Lady's book.

I got both of his books already, got you wanted the lady Yep, doctor, it's called it's called The Unapologetic Guy, The Black Mental Health by doctor to walker this hold and get your address. I sent it to perfect and wait, one more thing, one one thing, one more thing. My favorite, my favorite moment, real quick, there's a moment that I

didn't even hear live or heard of years ago. Like I said, I'd been listening to y'all to y'all YouTube videos on YouTube, and there was a moment on a decision where some kid had brought his daddy up there because if daddy has slept with his daughter, no his dad no, no, well because daddy has slept with the kid's girl. And he had confronted the dad and was like, yeah, we did it one time, and the kid got mad and the dad with his ass in the studio, and

I remember that I just heard that episode. I want to say, like last week, while I was cleaning, I wonder if we should bring a decision back to twenty one. Ya definitely mean to if y'all could do it in like and like a super duer safe um twenty twenty weight, not like a twenty thirteen way. But y'all definitely need to though. Man, I'm telling you asked the problem. We'll figure it out right, all right? Well, thank you for calling brother? Hello, who's this what up? Man? Scooby from

Virginia man, Scooby, what up? Yeah, yeah, yeah, man, I know, man, I relapsed, not bad. Uh, I am relapsed because I wanted to uh certain uh depths happen. Still messed up. bays raise. You're not dominicid you know, I peep it. It's cool, but look nothing help is shoot yo. It sucks show because me when I lose people, lose people in my life. I love my son, my home girl, homies, a rack of people. You know what I mean? I don't know. I'm still trying to figure out why I'm still here. You understand, and that's what I do best. I drink. Well, you need to stand out that's not that's not what you do, sir. Don't lie to yourself

and tell you that's what you do best. When you're indulging in self destructive behavior like that. That's not you at your best. That's works and people that love you. So you need to be here. You're here for a reason. Don't ever think you don't know why you're here, and and drink and you could beat that. Black man. Let me tell you something, black man, you need therapy. The reason you need therapy well your Mexican well, my brother,

my Mexican brother, you need therapy. And the reason you need therapy is because you got a bunch of unhealed trauma. A matter of fact, there's a rapper singer named Toby and we just had we just announced a partnership with him in talk space because Toby wants to provide free therapy says for Breakfast Club listeners courtesy at talk Space. He's given away one hundred and fifty three months of

therapy the Breakfast Club listeners. So we're gonna make sure that that you get one, my brother, because you need it. I don't know, man, Just please go to therapy, brother, I want you to Peter twenty list of r Peter Tiny, list of Tommy My Son's Day two y R Tommy Tiny list of debo r PE time are you drunk? Right now. You're drunk, right now, I am hold on, Rob, don't hang up, all right, hold on, okay, all right, well get it off your chest. Eight hundred five eight

five one on five one. When we come back, we have rumors, and yes, we'll tell you about Tommy the actor, Tommy tiny Lister, he's the actor from Friday. You know Debo, and get into it when we come back. It's the Breakfast Club. Come morning, the Breakfast Club Morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Up. Let's get to the rumors. Let's talk Debo's team. This is the rumor report with Angela Yee on the Breakfast Club. We have to send a resting

peace to Tommy tiny Lister. He died at the sixty two. You might know him as Debo. Now. Friends and business associates of Debo became morey Thursday when they hadn't heard from him, so they called the police, and the police did a welfare check and they found him unconscious. They believed that Debo died of natural causes, you know, And why do people say natural causes? What is natural causes? People? And it's got to be something like go to what

makes people die of natural causes? Like what is natural causes? Now? I don't know, but that that's what they're saying. If you don't know who Debo is, he's one of his biggest parts was when he played Debo in Friday. Let's let's play a clip of it. Smoke Now what you got on my drink? Now? Don't lie? And that man? But you got Craig Brokers a joke, y'all some high rollers and y'all, what's up filling crig sting been acting funny, lady,

Come on, smokers go in. Yeah, I like him. I like him in Friday, but I liked them too when he was Zeus the human wrecking Machine in the WWF. Yeah, he was interressing too at one time. Now, Zoey Dollars. We reported yesterday that Zoe Dollar was shot. Now we have more details. They believe he was pulling up to a club. He was driving US black Mercedes, and they said another vehicle pulled up on the side of him

and started unloading on the vehicle. They believe it was a Silver SUV and they fired multiple gunshots and hit Zoe Dollars in the leg. Several times. He also had a female passenger in the car and she wasn't in yell, I'm glad that they didn't die, because when you die like that, that's called being dead of nigga causes, all right,

nothing natural about that, right, right? Right? So they said that uh, Zoey Dollars had been at a birthday party and they believe was followed onto the highway and that's when it probably happened. He was shocked. Terms, I see when you hit the howards, Zoie dollars, Zoey Dollars is uh, let me see, I've just seen his age, thirty years old. Yeah, when you hear stuff like that, thank god that he's alive. I'll take the natural causes for five hundred dollars, give

me that all day long. I just want to live longer. I want to live long and prosperous. Sixty two too young to die. Yeah. And also Little Wayne is being sued by his ex manager. His ex manager saying, Little Wayne, you own me twenty million dollars. Now. The man's no, it's not Cootes. I never heard this manager. His name is Ronald Sweeney. He claims Little Wayne hide him between two thousand and five to renegotiate his deal with cash money.

They believe that he also had to fire Cortes, but they said things got a little strange and then all of a sudden, he feels like Cortez and Macmaine pushed him out. He was supposed to get a commission between ten percent to seventeen percent. He says, Little Wayne has money. He says, Little Wayne just sold his master's the Universal Music Group for more than a hundred million dollars and he wants his PC. He wants his percentage. Well, I don't know if he's telling the truth or not. Like man,

they got court that they have court in contracts. So I mean, if he was Wayne's manager during that time and he can prove it, I'm sure he'll get some something something. But he is being too for twenty million dollars. All right, And that is your rumor reports. Now when we come back, we have front page news. We'll give you some updates on coronavirus, and we have to talk about this coach who punched a nine year old in the face. Say his name, His name is Gerald Williams.

He needed to have his name said in all media outlets because he needs to begin and checked at every turn. He also clearly needs some type of help because he got all kind of unhealed trauma and him that would cause him to do something like that to that little boy. But we'll discuss all right, We'll get into that next. It's the Breakfast Club. Go Morning, the Breakfast Club. Your

mornings will never be the same. The Honde Elantra is a tech savvy, smooth operator designed just for you for the young at heart who liked to drive smart with the most flavor yet seamless tech experience. Learn more at Honda dot com. Let's get in some front page news now. On Thursday Night football, the Rams beat the Patriots twenty four three, and those surprises there the Rams and nine and four, Patriots were six and seven. I thought it

would be a little closer. Yeah. Now, also, six time All Star forward Paul George has signed a maximum contract extension with the Clippers. He signed two hundred and twenty six million dollar deal over the next five years. Yeah, that deal is proof that they don't pay you for

what you're doing. They pay you for what you've done, right, Because Paul George has had a pretty stellar career, especially at the beginning, so they're definitely paying them for what he's done because they can't be paying them for what he did last year now. Also doctor Fauci, he says that the US could be back to normal by next summer, provided everybody gets the vaccinated. But if you're pregnant, he

doesn't know. If the FDA doesn't know if you should be taking this vaccination, they say it's likely to recommend against the vaccination if you're pregnant. Well, I'm pregnant, Okay, I'm a waiting. I'm gonna wait until I have this baby about nine months. Okay, let y'all go out there first, and you know, if everything gets back to normal, they don't need to take it. I'm not a vaccine type of person. I'm not an anti vaxxer, but I just I haven't taken vaccines in years. Yeah, I'm gonna take it.

I took the flu shot this year. My doctor told me that I should. Reason being is if I do get sick, they can kind of just say, well, at least we know it's not the flu. So the front line, well, I mean anyway, I mean, we can't be on the front line. They're gonna give it to elderly people. They're gonn give it to essential workers that work with elderly people. People are working at hospital, so doctors, they're gonna get it first, regardless. But then after that, Yeah, I think

I'm gonna jump in that line. I'm gonna let that other wave go. Then I'm gonna sit back and watch and see if a horn grows out your head. The horn don't grow out your head, and I need it, I'll get it all right now. Biden has his latest cabinet picks. Uh. He picked the Secretary of Agriculture, Secretary tom Ville Sack, also Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, And he picked Congresswoman Marcia Fudge, Yes, Secretary of Veterans Affair,

Dennis mcdonohue, director of the Domestic Policy Council. He picked Ambassador Susan Rice breakfast before she has, and you United States Trade Representative, he picked Catherine Tie So those were his picks. Yeah. I'm glad Marsha Fudge became the head of HUD because that means that it's a congressional seat open and all good sister. Uh. Senator Nina Turner who a former Ohio stage senator who also served as national

co chair for Bernie Sanders. She's filed to run for Congress, so she's gonna go after that seat as he was held by Marsha Fudge. But now Senda to Nina Turner, I'm hearing is putting her hat in the rink to go after that seat. So I'm all behind Senator. Need to turn to drop on a close box for the good sister, need to Turner, And you can check out the Hello Somebody podcast on the Black Effect I Heeart Radio podcast network hosted by Nina Turner. Right and shut

him though? It's hat a hat in the ring? That rink the ring? What I said, rink? What is a rink? Why do people people say it's ring like rock was a rink? Like all these years I thought people were throwing their hats and skating rinks. I didn't know. And lastly, you know you're having to ring. They though you're having a ring like you complete compete. You know you had an ice ska rink. All right, good racious. Now, lastly, this story really upset me. Now youth football coach he's

investigated for child abuse. Now the coach he attacked a kid. His name is Jarrell Williams. He's from Georgia. So let me tell you what happened. This is a nine youth football team, so the kid is nine years old. They were running off the field, so we don't know if it was a fourth down, if they fumbled, if whatever happened. But as the kid was running off the field, the coach, Darrell Williams cocked back and snuffed the kid. And it wasn't like he just smacked him on the helmet or

it was a little rough. No, he punched him like you would punch your enemy. Like. It wasn't though, come on, you gotta do better. No, he punched him like I'm mad with you. And if I put it was almost like whom he did n Nate Robinson, Like he punched him that hard. Right, The kid got back up, and then he went back over there and hit the kid again. Hit the kids. Who the kid's daddy, who's the kid's uncle? Okay,

I need to talk to him. They need to be doing them all push ups because there's no way in hell that grown ass man was able to put his hands on that child. You know, that's an under nine youth football teams and it was like eight years old. Come on, bro, Yes, where the daddy, where's the uncle, where's the mom? Where's the other brothers? And ain't even related to the little boy? But just see something like that happened. You post a step to drag Willams and

check him immediately. He should have gotten mushed, just like you mushed that little boy. But not even that. None of the other parents, you know, it was like, oh yo, yo, what you're doing, Like I figured some of the other parents that would be there, like Lebron James posted it and was like, you know, if I was there, that was my son, we have a problem. And he said, even if it wasn't my son, we still have a problem.

By the way, we don't know if that happened though, And that's that I literally, literally, I just thought about that just now because that's a viral video. We only saw fifteen twenty seconds. We don't know what happened after that, now, bro, Because if if they jumped over that fence and whooped his ass, the guy would still be taping it. Let's be honest, he would still be taping. I don't mean

that had to jump over the fence. They might have called him after the game, or I don't know what happened. I'm just saying we don't know. Right. Well, he did apologize halfway kind of almost, but let's hit the apology. I'm annapologize my actions about what took place. At the end of the day, I am a man and I'm not gonna make no excuses for what I did. I was wrong. I shouldn't have disciplined him in public. I should have wait till we got back to doing what

he did it. At the end of the day, I apologize at him, kids, the city down here and I found the back at hond I do apologize him. There's no excuse for my actions. You know, he forgave me and his parents a forgiving me, so nobody else should be bosh. But no, that's not true. And he didn't apologize. He said, I shouldn't have did it. I shouldn't have did it in public. No, you shouldn't have did it all.

You shouldn't have did it at all. And you know, you're dealing with a guy who has a bunch of unhealed trauma and him he got a bunch of hurting him. Because there's no way you so easily did that to a kid that's under nine years old at a youth football game. There's nothing that young man did on that field that warranted that. Nothing. You could have yelled at him, you could have screamed at him, anything, but the way you put your hands on that little man. You should

feel ashamed of yourself this morning. My brother absolutely all right, Well that is your front page news. Now when we come back, we're gonna talk to Monica. Now. Monica is Young Chanelle's the mother. Her real name is Lyric Now. Young Chanelle is a young lady that she's been all over Instagram recently. I know Cardie B posted about her. She's always with Trade the Truth, Little Duval, dj e Feezy, and they're doing a fundraiser for her this Sunday. Now.

She was originally from Atlanta, young que pretty girl. Everything was fine. You see videos of her early on her Instagram and things are fine. And then she developed a tumor on her brain. She had four or five surgeries and they're trying to get it right. She talks about the process of them going to a hospital to hospital. At first, they you know, they basically said nothing was wrong. She had headaches, and now she's at a point where

she's had like her fourth or fifth surgery. They're trying different procedures to make sure she's okay, and the story is heartbreaking. So we're gonna talk to her. She's gonna break everything down and we're just asking. On Sunday, we're gonna do a kind of like a block party on her Instagram live, and we're gonna raise money to help the family so she could get more surgeries, more procedures, and just helping out. They moved from Houston, mean from

Atlanta to Houston. They've been living in hotels because they got to be close to the hospital and they just don't have it. And we always talk about helping each other, and this is the time where we have to help. Now. What's what's the phrase that killer Mike says, I can't remember if if, if, if all of us do a little, none of us gotta do a lot. There you go. So we're gonna talk to her when we come back to Don't Move. The story is touching and if you

have kids, you really want to hear this. All right, it's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, Well so of y'all, this is miss Pat Congratulations to the Breakfast Club on ten years and I gotta give a big shout out to Charlomagne for giving black people hope on that pretty ass skin. He'd be rocking every day Breakfast Club Morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne, the guy we

the Breakfast Club. Now, last week I told you about a young girl who was originally from Atlanta that had to move out to Houston because she had to go through some cancer treatment. And I tell you that I shout to Dje Feezy. He called me one day and said, I really want to help. I want to put on this whole kind of a day where we raise money like a platform because the young girl likes to dance, likes to sing. And he asked what I help and

be involved? So I said, of course. He told me the story and I said absolutely positively, And now we have her mom on the line right now. Good morning Monica. How are you doing, Morning Monica? Good morning. So now this story meant a lot to especially me and Charlemagne, because Charlomagne has three daughters. I have three daughters. I have five kids. So for people that don't know, explain

the story and explain what's going on. Well, Laric gets dealing with the grade three and a plastic and penda mama and grade three stage three that's the highest as she was diagnosed with that from the beginning. So when I first found out about it, Larry kept having headaches. But you know, you know, you don't take a kid to the emergency room for a headache. But she kept explaining when her head hurt, her next hurt, her back hurts,

and you know, I explained this to her doctor. They kept sitting us away with some zofran and eventually got worse to where um, the child couldn't see and took it to the er, and they just kept turning us away. And a lot of parents with brain tumors they get turned away. And when you google brain tumor symptoms, everything that Larry was describing comes up from the beginning asking

for MRI and it's like, oh, it's not that serious. Well, after they kept test running tests on her, trying this drug, trying this, eventually they got her to be able to, you know, get out of bed, keep energy down, and keep her food down. So you know, I'm thinking we're going back home. You know, I'm calling her I'll be back to work. And when they took the medication away from her, the ivy away from her. She had to throw up again. So it's like, you know what, before

you go home, I'm gonna get it. Mr. Now I'm home, you know, getting things together, and then all of a sudden, I get a phone call like she's not okay. She has a mask on her brain. And you know, the doctors are always non chalant about everything, and when they tell you they need to operate, it's like, we need to operate right away. So you don't get the time to think about the doctor's experience, you know, the reviews.

You don't have time to think about that. You're just in shocked that your child's goal has to be cut open, like, you know, how do I explain this to her? And things like that. And this is at eleven, you know, after she had the surgery and she was released from the hospital, I'm thinking that that's it's like that's over with. And um it was in January when they called me

and was like it's cancer. My daughter said to me, if my mom is crying, which I try not just let her see me cry, If my mom is crying, and it means it's something serious. So she began to cry, and when I told her she had cancer, it was just like a shock to her, you know, and she cried and I tried her try to get her over this fear and to do fear exercise with her. She said, the one thing she was worried about is is not being cancer. So immediately after this surgery, they wanted me

to do chemo radiation with her. And I'm listening to everyone that experienced chemo radiation, was like, no, don't put her through that. Don't put her through that. And then I'm hearing the doctor's side saying, if you do not put her through the chemo radiation, your daughter will die, you know. So I chose to go and I turned to ral and deal with homeopathic doctor. I would get up at five in the morning, you know, preparing raw

vegetables for this kid. And for a child eleven years old to get up in the morning to have to feed her raw vegetables and a half a grape fruit and walnuts and water, that's a lot like my kid wants to eat like that. She did it, and she didn't complain about it. You know. She took the medicine, but maybe I probably should have pulled here, got to school at that time to monitor her eating habits, because when she would go to school, that's when she would

indulge and other stuff at school. On March thirtieth, I took her back to the ear and before a couple of days before that, she's like, I don't want to go back to school. I'm like, with someone teasing you And she's like no, but she's like, I don't want to be tempted to eat anything that I'm not supposed to eat. I noticed that she started throwing up her food again. I take her back to the ar and they tell me that the tumor has grown and is bleeding. Now,

oh god, and you know, Lyric is crying. You know, she's like, I'm so stupid. I shouldn't have did this. I shouldn't did I should have ate that stuff. Mom, you you wasted so much money on this, this and this, and you know, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. My

sister deserved to have a big sister growing up. You know, she was concerned about her sister and stuff like that because I'm a five year old too, and you know, as Lyric talking, she just her head just end up dropping and I'm like Lyric because my daughter pranks a lot. I'm like Lyric, and I look at the monitor and said zero. And when got a nurse, I was like, I think she stopped breathing and she had coded, so

they had to intubate her and everything. But they also told me if I don't do keemo or radiation, it's no point of them doing another surgery. So I said, okay, I'll come on board with doing keemo radiation. It was a difficult time at that time. Lyric Hartwray got down into the twenties, blood pressure got up to the two hundreds. You know, doctors are running with her because they don't know what's going on. They had to do drain it, you know where they put the catheters on each side

of the brain to get the fluid off. So she went through a second surgery around April seventh, and again I'm thinking like, okay, after this surgery, you know, we have to do chemo, and she put it through. They put her through two rounds of chemo, and when I took her in there for chemo, she was complaining about her head hurting. So they had to do it, you know, the operation to give her her port. They did, the

operation didn't incorrect. Something went wrong, so they had to take her again and do another operation to fix that port. At the same time, she keeps complaining about head pains and they keep giving her morphine. It seemed like they were just trying to rush this chemo in her, and every time she wakes up, she complained about head and

they give her morphine. So at this point, I'm like getting I'm getting frustrated because i feel like you just pacifying the problem by giving her this morphine, and I'm like, can you see what's going on? Well, kind of fell out with the nurse behind this. They said they switched out a nurse. So about six o'clock in the morning, Larric coated because no one's taking the time out to look to see why did this kid keep complaining about headache? So they had to stop the chemo and they took her.

She had to get a surgery where they put a shut on her brain because the fluid was building up on the brain and that's why Larric was having his headache. So after that, in June twenty nineteen, we found out that the chemo did not work. They told me that she was gonna need to have another surgery. This who put her at surgery number three. So at this time, you know, I told him, I said, well, Ken, she enjoyed her birthday first. You know, her birthday is fourth

of July. You know, I took her to California, let her, let her see family there and things like that. And on her birthday, her attitude was so bad. I never seen her act like that before. You know, she was crying, She was just all over place. But she cried out to me and she was like, you know, I gotta have surgery and I don't think I'm gonna make it. You know, I might die. And you know, it's hard

to hear your kid talk like that. After her party, when I took her home, she don't too much complain to me, but she told her dad, you know, my head hurts. The following morning, she end up throwing up and took her to the yard and they told me the ventricles were swelling. We gave her some steroids and they felt comfortable with her going home. So she had that surgery July tenth. She came back. They called me at six pm, told me I can come back, and

when I get there, I'm like waiting around. I didn't get to see the doctor until around eight, and so they telling me Lyric doesn't want to wake up from the anesthesia. And but the surgery went fine, so it wasn't to ten pm. Ten fifteen pm I was able to get to the back to see Lyric, and you know, she was just shivering and she was comprehensive. I heard the monitor of the following morning keep hearing the monitor go off, so I asked the nurse and said, don't

come check on her. You know, monity was going off quite some time, and the nurse sound to be a little irritable. So I went saund on the foot of the bed and I looked at Lyric and her face was blue, her lips was blue, and all of a sudden, other nurse comes in and they began to shake Lyric's chest, you know, wake up, Lyric, wake up, and the hit

cold blue. So they would had and intubated her. You know, the whole team rushed in and it's like an hour later she cold blew again, and you know, the doctors that bring me into this little room and tell me that she wasn't gonna make it, that the tumor was taken over winning the race and things like that. So at that time, I just walked out the meeting and I just I just cried, and I just sat outside for a while and looked at the sky and like, I can't lose my daughter. We have more with Monica

when we come back, don't move. It's to Breakfast Club. Good Morning, the morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yea, Charlomagne the guy. We all the Breakfast Club. We're still kicking it with Kamonica has a young daughter named Lyrica on Instagram as young Chanelle, and she has the story. So let's get back into it, Charlotte. So, Monica, the doctors told you that Lyric's not gonna make it. Let's hear more so. The following morning, I woke up. I didn't know what I was gonna run into, you know,

turning that corner, but it was quiet, you know. The doctors told me another surgery would take her out. But then a week later or so, the doctor come back and tells me, oh, maybe we could do another surgery on her and wake her up, and I'm like, no, I'm not doing another surgery. At this time her Lyric's head felt like a water sack in the back. She probably donn a ventilator for about two weeks. But I knew that there was some type of brain functioning there.

I knew she was gonna be okay because when I take her ring off, she could put the ring back on and the only thing she could move was that left hand. Lyric end up suffering from a stroke. And when and how old is she this time? She still eleven or she gold twelve? Now told me she was suffering from a stroke. They didn't think she was gonna make it to radiation. So at this point, you know, when they put a feed in tube in her, Yeah, I'm paying attention. You know how they inject their medication.

So as a mom, I'm gonna do everything for my daughter, soil, you know, So I would inject herbs into her feeding tube. I know I'm not supposed to do that, but you know, I'm fighting with my daughter. And finally when the tube came out, I began to, you know, give Lyric little tiny ice chips, which they tell me not to give her anything by mouth, but I could see that she was dehydrated, and so seeing her like chew on a little tiny ice chips was like the biggest thing to me,

and that the therapy. I mean, it took a lot of therapy to get her back. You know, she wasn't talking, she had lost her vision, she couldn't walk. It was like an infant. I wasn't sure if my daughters won't

ever be able to walk again or talk. You know, when therapy wasn't in the room, I was working her out myself, stretching her legs, you know, just constantly talking to her, playing music for and her first words I had whispered in our ear to tell our love her, and you know, she just took a deep breath, was like I love you to mom, you know, and from there she just she just started back talking. After that road, she did radiation for six weeks. Her tumor stayed stable

for like a little over a year. And it's like, you're not worried. You know, the child is almost running again. You know, she walking on the treadmill like two hours at a time. You know, she's happy. I felt comfortable. I started she started experiencing seizures and I take her to the ear again in August and they tell me that her tumor has a slight growth and I'm like, here we go again with this the team in Atlanta,

they always is so very nonchalant about everything. And when they told me that, um, she's gonna have the house surgery again, I was like, Oh, I can't let this this surgeon, the same surgeon operated on her again. So I began to research doctor's experience with pandemomas and I found doctor David Samberg because he has a clinical trial here in Houston. So I immediately rushed lyric scans over

to him. He looked over her skans and he contact me back and told me that she's not eligible to go into clinical trial because of where her tumor is located. Most kids tumors are located in the back. However, hers is located in the top of the pioneer region of the brainstem. I immediately brought Lyric to Houston. When doctor Samberg got her, he was he was very worried. He was like, your daughter has a massive tumor. After doing

the surgery, you know, he came out. It was like a thirteen hour surgery, but he sat on the stage one to ten. That tumor was like a twenty. So, you know, he got that tumor out and he recommended me to get treatment right away. So we got her into m D Anderson. She started doing a immut on therapy treatment and she did it partly, about three or four appointments with that. And on the week of Thanksgiving Monday,

I noticed her legs was like a little week. On Wednesday, it's the day she had treatment, and I told the guy, the doctor, I said, you know, her legs are feeling kind of weak, and he was like, well, do you think she's fatigue. I said, no, I don't think it's fatigue. She's her legs a week. So they approved her to go ahead and get treatment. She got treatment, and then on Thursday, you know, she was able to stand tall

in a shower, you know, she stood up straight. I sat there in a chair like, let's take pictures, and she end up leaning over and fell out the chair. I couldn't when I went to pick her up, it was like dead weight. And Thanksgiving Day she could not move those legs, like, she could not stand. It hurt her to stand, and I'm like, oh my gosh, I'm here at the boy myself. You know, how am I going to get through this? The following day it was

a little better. She was able to stand, but she couldn't She couldn't move, and her legs was in pain the seizures. She ended up having four seizures. The following day, I took her to the er and that's when I got the news that the tumor has grown back dramatically. The minal drug, chemo drug, whatever is not working. They have nothing else to offer her, and they don't want to put her through another surgery. I don't know what

it is. I don't know what Lyric may be feeling because she doesn't really express that part of the brain with her being expressive. But you know, she told me, Mom, I don't want to d because I told her, don't say die, and I just keep just talking to her. You know, we pray together, and it's it's a scary situation. You know. The very following day after I'm hearing what these doctors saying there's nothing else that they can do.

And then the very following day you got hospice coming in with oxygen tanks with morphine medicine, and it's like, I have me feeling like she's about to go any day now. You know, she's sleeping right now, Okay, in the hotel of hospital. We're at the hotel, all right, we have more with Monica when we come back. Don't move. It's the breakfast Club. Good morning. Everybody is the DJ, Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the breakfast Club.

We're still kicking it with Monica. Monica has a young daughter named Lyrica on Instagram as young Chanelle, and she has a story. So let's get back into it. So what's what's the next steps? Is there another doctor? Is another surgery? What's what's what's next? So t I contact me before all of this news, and he reached out to doctor Saby's grandson Isaiah Bowman and um Isaiah stars

sending herbs down. However, I didn't know. I thought feeding Lyric on a vegan diet, you know, as long as there's no soy, you know, she's drinking plenty of water. I'm thinking I'm doing the right I'm feeding her correctly. Apparently not. So he came down last week and he got her on a dtox a dtox blood, pure fire and some other herbs, and they did a mail prep for her, juicing her and raw food like raw vegetables. The very next day after taking his herbs and stuff

like that. I was so impressed Lyric was able to start taking steps. I want to say, day before yesterday she did twenty minutes on the trade mail. Wo wow. So it feels like I'm at this point, we just got to continue to do that in good old fashioned prayer. Yeah, you know, and I'm I'm a little worried. You know, last night she went to bed. You know, like I said, this kid never complains. Even if she had a headache,

she won't complain. I sometimes I see her grabbing her head or something like that, and I like, Lyric, do you have a headache? She's like no, And I think she wants you and you're out here. You get Lauren Laura, if you if you got to go, if you have to go, you gotta go. We understand. You understand if you have to go. Yeah, I got her oldest sister taking care of her right now. But um, you know last night, are just like worried because of the headaches.

You know, she was experiencing pain last night. But um, I just saint hopeful at this time. You know, we were coming together this Sunday. Um, like we said, efeasy hit me and I said, absolutely positively. So we helped and put it together and we're just trying to raise as much money as possible. I know it's hard for you because you you you had to move out of Landing to come here. You've been living in hotels um

and I know part of the goal. I know Efeasy wanted to make sure that you weren't in a hotel for Christmas. He wanted to make sure that at least, even if it was an Airbnb, that you guys were comfortable. And we just want to make sure that the communities did to support you. So this Sunday, we're going to be doing a huge party on her actual page, which is Young Chanelle, which is why h U n G, dot C, h A n E L, Underscore and every

DJ damn that will be doing it. Me e Feezy Kick Capri, shout to mister Rogers, Camillo, A, Smark the Spot, Spinking Infamous, Stephcakes, Cash, jq r A, and Double J. So we're doing it for her. Deshaun Watson, who plays who's the quarterback for the Houston Rockets Texans Texans, I said, Rockets, Houston Texans. He's gonna be donating something big which he's

gonna be announcing today tomorrow. And we just want to say that, you know, we're which you, we're praying for you, and we're gonna try to help as much as possible. I appreciate it. And what's the is there is there like a website or go fund me that people can donate to now even before even before Sunday. Um, there is a go for me. It's attached to Lyrics. Yeah my bio. Yeah, I'm gonna donate some money too, and more importantly, I'm gonna be praying for you, Monica and Lyric.

I don't I hate when I hear things like this because I just don't even know what we can do other than you know, lean on our high up out right. Thank you so much for getting up. I know it's early to it in Texas, and it's you know, it's a scary, scary situation because I was just saying I haven't found one one person to survive and a plastic and pendent mama. Wow. And that's that's real sad. That's

that's sad. You know that not enough research is going into like pediatric brain tumors, like it's sad, or maybe Lyrics story will help um, we'll help raise awareness to that absolutely and hopefully it's a change, and we will continue to support and you know, we want you to continue to check in and let us know how she's doing. And this Sunday we're trying to raise as much money as possible to make sure that you guys are straight and she's okay and given to go fund me again

and some people getting doing it. Given to go fund me again. Well, you can go to her page, which is young Chanel, which is why h I'm let me go to it, why h U n G dot c h A n E L underscore and uh A go fund me is on a link you could click the go fund me and please donate and we're gonna be pushing and thank you, thank you so much for checking in this morning, and thank you, Thank you guys so much. All right now, give our love, take care this just

oh go guys, Angelo the Breakfast Club. Well, Bill Cosby is back on Twitter and he tweeted some things out yesterday. Yesterday he said, on this tenth day of December twenty twenty, I want to pay homage to those who have supported me and my family simply by saying thank you, the first person to be recognized on Thank You Thursday's rapp Up Boosey, thank you for your support and I'm praying for you to have a speedy recovery and for your mobility to be restored again. Thank you so much. You mind.

But what's so interesting about that? You know, back in the day when Bill Cosby gave that whole speech about you know, pulling your pants up and you know how black men she carried himselves, you know, the whole respectability politics conversation, Boosey is the type of person that Bill would have been talking about even now. Absolutely absolutely, So you know, I just found that interesting. That's all. Also, Ben and Jerry's ice Cream they create a Colin Kaepernick

inspired ice cream flavor. All right now, Ben and Jerry's unveil its new Change the World vegan ice cream, which is made with caramel, non dairy sunflower butter and foodge chips with Graham cat crackers and chocolate cookies swirls. They want to celebrate Kaepernick's courageous work to confront systemic oppression and to stop police violence against black and brown people. So it actually has a picture of Colin Kaepernick on

the ice cream. Well, um, I saw that it's non dairy too, because if it wasn't none dairy, I'd be upset because I'm actose intolerant, all right. Being lactose intolerant is a form of brutality all to itself, all right, not being able to eat dairy. But the money goes to all the proceeds go to something too, right, Yeah, it all goes to a good cause. I'm not sure if the cause. I'm sure it's Colin Kaepernick's I Know

Your Rights or organization. Yes, it does. Up sales will be used to support the work of his Know Your Rights organization, which teaches black and brown children about how to deal with police interactions. Hey man, nothing wrong using capitalism and fuel a revolution. Now, Ellen degenerous she tests positive for COVID nineteen show her talk show production will be halted until January. She said, Hi, everyone, I want to let you know that I've tested positive for COVID nineteen. Fortunately,

I'm feeling fine right now. Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified, and I'm following all proper CDC guidelines. I'll see you all again after the holidays. Please stay safe and healthy. Okay, you know what, I want to go back to the Colin Kaepernick thing because I'm thinking about this. I would like to see Colin Kaepernick talk more. I feel like he on people. I only feel like he speaks to people when he's

pushing a product, you know what I mean. Like if it's sneakers or ice cream, something like that, then you hear from Colin. I know he puts his money with his mouth is a lot of times, but I still feel like when you've been put in that position as a leader, you have a greater responsibility. And he's been, you know, the symbol of the revolution for a while now, you know, I just would like to see him. I'd like to see him speak more. I'd like to see him be on the front lines more than when he's

just pushing the product. That's all. And lastly, we got to say congratulations to a couple of people. Cassie. Yes, Cassie is pregnant with her second child. That's with her husband Alex Fine. So they posted a picture, so congratulations to them. And also Christina Milian her and her boyfriend Matt Pokora I don't know who that is, welcome their baby, Isaiah. Their first child together on January twenty of this year, so congratulations to her as well. She's expecting child number three.

I'll dropping a clues boons for both of those young ladies and their families. Did he feels we're now? Did he feels when he sees Cassie pregnant and happy? I just wonder, sad? Maybe nobody asked you something? Okay, a simple question that I would like for Diddy to answer. And here you go with your ad libs. My fault talking. You thought that was in your inner voice talking here in the studio. You gotta feel listen, you gotta feel

the way though, going to beyond with you. I saw Cassie post that picture and then I saw a Diddy on the boat looking at the sunset, shipping to Killer. I was like, boy, I don't know. I feel I was just putting two and two together, but I could be wrong because it's social media, so I'm sure Diddy has a million other things on his mind. Well, well, congratulations to him, and I'm sure Diddy is okay? All right? Now? Dad is your room reporting? We give that down cot

you four after the hour. We need Gerald Williams to come to the front of the congregation. We'd like to have a word with him. He is the football coach who put his hands on that young football player who was under the age of nine. And since today is Friday, and I go to therapy um every Friday at three fifth to day three fifteen, usually three thirty. But um, we need to talk about unhealed trauma. Let's have a conversation this morning. People, all right, we'll get to that

next or keeping lock this to breakfast club. Good morning. It's don't be a dusky because right now you want some real It's time for Donkey of the Day. So if we ever feel I need to be a donkey man, get it with the hero. Did she get lease? I had become Donkey of the day. The Breakfast Club bitches, yes donkey today for Friday, December eleven, Flash Live Donkey at twenty twenty goes to a former Savannah you football

coach named Gerald William. Salute to everybody in Savannah who listens to us on ninety four point one to beat drop on a clue's bombs for Savannah, Man, beautiful city. I was actually thinking about Savannah a couple of days ago because December nine, Yeah, I believe December Knife was the late Rapper camouflage is born day. Y'all remember the rapper camouflage, Remember camouflage, and yeah, the record cut trains back in the day. He was tragically murdered back in

the H three. He was outside of Pure Pain Studios with a sixteen munf old son and he was shot and killed with his son in his arms. He was only twenty one years old. So rest in piece to camouflage Puel Paint Records dropped on a clue bound for Pure Paint Records. I always think about what the rap seat in Savannah would have turned out to be of camouflage that lived. But back to donkey of the day, Jerald Williams. Okay, look, a lot of donkeys have been

dark this year. This year was a dark year filled with a lot of death, a lot of sickness, a lot of grief, a lot of pain, a lot of trauma. People are going through it all right. It's people out here suffering. They got all types of emotional and mental issues going on inside of them, and sadly, a lot of those folks take that out on other people. Now. I'm not making excuses for anyone who exhibits the type of toxic behavior that hurts others because it's a human

It's your job to deal with your bs. Whatever you got going on in your head and your heart that's causing you to know being not only self destructive, but destructive to others, you gotta fix. There's no excuses, okay, until you go do that work on yourself to deal with your unhealed trauma, ain't no good gonna come to you. And that's why Gerald Williams is receiving today's Donkey of

to Day. Now, maybe you've seen this online, maybe you see seeing Lebron James post about this, maybe you heard us talking about it in Front page News this morning. But Gerald Williams is the youth football coach who can be seen on this video putting his hands on somebody's son that he coaches. Now, in the video, Gerald Williams appears to hit one of his players twice in the helmet.

Now keep in mind, these kids are under nine years old and Jerald big grown ass hit this little boy twice for no damn legitimate reason and noted the kid to the ground, screamed at him, and then shoved the kid's head, pushing him off the field. Let's go to

w t O SECBS eleven for the news report. Police the Asciola County Sheriff's Office confirmed that after consulting with the state attorney, they will pursue charges against Gerald Williams, the man who was a youth football coach here in Savannah. The Savannah Gators U nine team was playing in Florida this week when the incident took place. In the video, Williams appears to hit one of the players twice in the head and it knocks him to the ground. The

incident reports says Williams was screaming at the child. The AYF says that his actions were quote wholly and consistent with the fundamental value of youth sports, which at its core is an opportunity for adult leaders to be role models for our nation's youth, and that he had been banned from all AYF events in the future. Ben Fatula said that the coaches do have a background check each year, but he thinks moore should be done to educate and

train coaches. Williams was also a counselor in the Chatham County Detention Center. Sheriff John Wilcher tells US that he was given the choice between his dining and being fired on Thursday, and Williams chose to resign a counselor. Well, sometimes counselors knee counseling, all right, sometimes counselors knee counseling. We got to establish the village again. We're very tribal nowadays,

folks only deal with the immediate circles. We have to get back to being a village because instead of taping folks to post online to talk about them, we need to be checking folks and talking to them directly. Now. I'm still a work in progress, my damn self. I always say I'm the perfect balance of ratchetness and righteousness. The righteous side of me knows and wants Gerald Williams to get some professional help. His brother needs therapy, point blank, period,

full stop. All right, Clearly, this dude has a bunch of unhealed trauma and him that he needs to deal with. Okay, he needs mental, emotional and spiritual counseling his damn self. Okay, all that is true, because Gerald is not mad at that little boy. He's mad at himself for what. I don't know, but it's something there, all right. A lot of unhealed trauma. But even with all that, I believe Gerald needs his ass whiped. Okay, where is Jake Paul

when you need him? All right? Street fights are great, but no, put some boxing gloves on him and put him in the ring with a grown man, and I'll bet you see Gerald get man handled the same way he man handled that under nine year old boy. Now, Gerald did give a half fast apology. Let's listen. I'm gonnapologize for my actions about what took place, but at the end of the day, I am a man and I'm not gonna make no excuses for what I did. I was wrong. I shouldn't have disciplined him in public.

I should have wait till we got to do what he did with at MS. At the end of the day, I apologize to him, kids the city down here and I found the background. Do apologize him. There's no excuse for my actions. You know, he forgave me and his parents have forgiven me, so nobody else should be bash him. Thank you, that's not true. We shall bash you, okay, but we were destroyed to build that right, that's what you do. This is why you don't apologize under pressure.

He apologized because he lost his job. He apologized because he's facing charges. He didn't apologize because he truly has remorse. He apologized because he got in trouble, because he doesn't. He doesn't even see the error in his ways. He thinks people are upset because he did it in public. He said it verbatim. I shouldn't have done it in public, No fool, You shouldn't have put his hands on the little boy at all. All right, there is no excuse

for the abuse. I've watched Lean on Me a million times, and I thought Joe Clark had controversial and unconventional ways to discipline. But you make Joe Clark look like mister Miyagi. Joe Clark walked around with a baseball bat, but I never saw him use it. You've seen Joe Clark use that baseball bat. I haven't. Now we have to live footage, mini, I haven't. Now we have some live footage from one of Gerald Williams huddles. Let's listen. I want to want

winners out in the field. Who's a winner? I said, who's a winner? Everyone's hand should be up? Okay, everyone bring it in. Who are we what? All right, let's break someone clavicle on three? What dud three? Break someone's cla let's go. This is insane, all right, And I'm glad this brother is banned from coaching for life. But I'm serious. I want his brother to get some help. It's a cycle of trauma that clearly needs to be broken, all right. Someone did that to him when he was

a child, so he's trauma tized. So he went and trauma tized somebody else's child. I saw my sister Angela Raid drop on a clothes BOMs Angela. I love my sister. I saw her post this yesterday via a good brother Winston Duke, and I'm gonna post it later on my I g because because it is a word, okay, And the word is seeing unhealthy patterns in your family and deciding that those patterns in with you and will not be passed down the future generations. Is an extremely brave

and powerful decision. Gerald Williamson, what choice are you gonna make? Sir? Are you gonna be brave and get some help for your toxic ways? Or will you continue to be a self sabotaging coward who passes his trauma on to others as opposed to healing what's hurting you. You have a choice, and a great coach named John Wooden once said, there is a choice you have to make in everything you do. So keep in mind that in the end, the choice you make makes you. What kind of man do you

want to be? Moving forward? Gerald Williams, please let remy mind. Give this former you football coach, Gerald Williams the biggest he ha he ha he ha. You stupid mother? Are you dumb? All right? Well? Deserved? Well deserved? All right, Well, thank you for that donkey of today. Now up next, DJ Shock. Now a lot of you who DJ Shock is? So break it down right fast. DJ Shock is from South Carolina. You know he's a partner of mine. Um,

I've been running with him for a long time. I think I met Shock like in two thousand and in two you know what I mean. He's a DJ and Columbia, South Carolina. Was in the script clubs and the clubs. Now he works at the school in Columbia, South Carolina. But you know that that lifestyle of DJ and can catch up to you, that lifestyle of being a radio

personality can catch up to you. You You know, when you're not eating right, when you're not getting enough sleep, You're not going to the doctor, and it's caught up to my man DJ Shock and um DJ Shock needs a kidney transplant. So I want him to come on this morning to tell his story. And I don't know, maybe just maybe we can we can we can get him some help, all right, So we'll get into that when

we come back. Keeping lock this to Breakfast Club. Good Morning, The Breakfast Club back kicking out the world's most dangerous morning show. Morning. Everybody's DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlemagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. We got a special guest on the line right now. Yes, indeed, DJ Shot, What up, brother, what's happening? Fellers? Good morning, Good morning. Shock. Shock is my long time homie man from South Carolina, and he

hit me up the other day. I didn't even know that he was, you know, having having these health issues that he's having. But but but Shock, tell him, tell him what's going on with you? So yeah, I'm I'm I'm in stock. I'm in uh stage five kidney failure. Basically, um having high blood pressure for a long time, it's

caused my kidneys to fail. So I'm not able to um be able to do regular functions like that, even more so I had with the help of dialysis or whatever, which I'm on right now, with the whole dialysis, I'm I'm I'm able to feel better. But the ultimate gold is just to find someone much you donated kidney to me and shock you You're not? Are you not even old? Now? I'm forty. I just turned forty and up? So what was it? Was it the kidney failure first to the

high blood pressure? What was it? The high blood pressure came first, but it was something that I really didn't know I was going through. Um. I was working a lot, DJ and a lot, so I figured with the headaches, I was just tired and just need to get some sleep. So I like take a nap, drink some water something, I wake up and I feel fine. I just didn't know at the time that that was the main reason that was going on with me. It was basically my blood pressure was like through the roof. It was like

in the twos. I did no as a as a black man, something that that that I knew I needed to be doing. But no, I wasn't going to the doctor. And I plead to every black man right now, I was watching this who's hearing this? Um at the earliest start seeing a physician, that where you can catch things early. So when did you realize it was? It was kidney failure? What what what got you to the doctor? What got you? Was it so bad? He was like, damn, I gotta go today. Um, well, it was a regular day, man.

I was just at the house, tilling, watching TV and waiting because at the time I had to pick my mama from work, so I was weing her to get off work and I was just chilling watching TV. And all of a sudden, my heart just started pumping like it's g like it's great to jump out of my chest. So I got scared. I thought I was having a

heart attack. So I called an ambulance and the ambulance came and they took me in and they trushed me to the emergency room and stuff, and they said, well, you you're you're fine, and I'm like, I don't think so, you know, my heart is like going crazy. So they put me on the machine and yes, my high blood pressure was My blood pressure was in the twos at the top, like one eighty at the bottom, which is crazy. So um, the doctors gave me some fluid, wanted me

to just calm down. He came in and said, how long did you have kitney problems? And I look, I said, not that I know of, you know, And he was like, well, your kiddies are in pretty bad shape. Like the kinney's is supposed to be like a hundred hundred twenty percent and at that time August second, twenty eighteen, kings were at fifteen percent function damn. But what exactly is kitney fail you? I mean, we hear that often, you know what I mean? I know even the Good Brothers scar

Face recently and he's going through the same thing. What exactly is kidney kidney failure? Yeah? Shot the scar Face shot the freeway. Um, he just got his kidney a while back. On. Basically, kidney figures just you know, the the kidneys actors um filters in your body and it filter out all the bad stuff in your blood because we build up toxins every day through the foods we eat,

through the drinks we drink. So what kidneys do is fill tall that stuff out and turns it into the urine or feces, so that function goes down, so we're not able to get that fluid off our bodies a lot. Now, did you have blood in your urine? Did you were you fatigued? Was just swelling in your hands, at your feet with any of that stuff there that they used, Yeah, I was. I was fatigued. It got to the point because I work at a high school here in South Carolina.

I work at ac for a high school. Was happening. Um, I was walking up some steps and I felt like I was just out of breathless steps I go up every day, So I was fatigue. My legs started swelling, and I really didn't know. I thought, I thought because because I'm on my feet all the time. I thought I was just you know, my legs was soiling because

I'm on my feet all the time. I didn't understand at the time that that was the calling sign for my kidney's failing, because that happened probably two or three months before I even went to the hospital. So, for you, what contributed to all of this is just create lifestyle, because you know, Shot, I said, shock me and Shot go back to when I was doing radio on HOW one on three nine and Columbia. Shock was DJ and then so just the lifestyle of being at DJA over

the past twenty years. Yeah, man, a late night eating, not not really cooking, not you know, not not paying attention to the salt that you intake in your body. Because our bodies naturally produced salt, so we don't actually need to put salt on our food because it's already is your body produces it already. So just so just that, And I had horrible eating habits. Man. I remember just times getting like two uppers at lunch and they're two

oppers at dinner. Like I was eating terrible, a lot of a lot of greasy foods, just not drinking the water like I was supposed to. But around twenty fifteen, twenty sixteen, I woke up one day and I was like, I just don't want to eat them my fried foods. So I haven't been eating fried foods. I cut out on a lot of red meat. Um drink gallons and gallons and gallons of water, which now I can't do because after wash my fluid intake, I can only have

sixteen fluid ounces a day. Damn. That makes like that would cause health risk, health problem. Yeah, yeah, you can't get the hydrated because the body needs fluids, it needs to it needs to water to stay hydrated. So with me just having I just take like small SIPs here there,

like when I go to the center. Um, usually it wants you had a certain weight so that way the machine don't don't pull too much off of you because that machine tugs at you and then it tugs at your heart, so it doesn't want the You don't want the Dioss machine to tug at your heart so bad where it tears your heart up. So you have to keep the food would offer you in order for that to to on the fat machine to run like natural. So it's crazy, man, it's crazy. It's it's it's it's

a lot that we have to do. We have to watch our eating because you know, just eat the salad. Salad has a lot of water in it, so that adds on to your fluid. Um eating like pasta. Pasta has water in the pasta, so that adds on to your fluid. I guess things that you really have to watch out for eight ounces of water total, so that includes salad, posta and all that. Yeah, and there's so

many people who are going through this. I see people each and every day at the center, and you know, we talked to each other, We pray for each other, and we just try to get through this the best way we can. So I think you guys for allowing me to be in this space for the where I can add someone, anyone to to to um be a lifesaver for me to become an organ downer and donate a kitty. How we got more with DJ Shock. When we come back, don't move. It's the Breakfast Club, Good

morning morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee. Charlemagne, the guy we are the Breakfast Club was still kicking it with DJ Shock. Now Charlemagne's so shock, my brother, What do you gotta do to get you a transplant? There's a list. It's over one hundred thousand people, and the list grows each and every day because there's so many of vil people, black and brown, beautiful people who need to do more with their eating habits. And we went till too late, and then all of a sudden, our

kidneys fail and we're in this predicament. I'm active on two lists. I'm active on a list and at NAC in Charleston, and I'm active on a list and August the University of august in Augusta Georgia list that I'm trying to get on as we speak. I reached out to Charlot and I was like, you know, maybe someone out here in the radio world, you know, would like to donate. And for me being diagnosed in twenty eighteen, I really hadn't say anything until this year. What's your

blood type? Shot? Be positive? Be positive? Right? But um, the technology is different now, so the blood types don't even matter anymore. Really, what happens is they would like safe for instance, if you would or envy one to say that you wanted to donate, what they'll do is they'll take my blood and then mix it with your blood to see if they get a positive reaction. If it's a positive reaction, then yes you can do it. But if it's a negative reaction, then you won't donate.

So how can people help man, Like if they wanted to donate a kidney or anything. You know, I don't help you skip the list. I don't know. I don't know how that works. But how can people help you? They can reach out to me on my social media that's a DJ shop eight oh three, that's spelled DJ sh ok eight oh three. They can hit me up any time on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook. My name on Facebook is delvon Harland D E L V O n H A R L I and G. Hit me up any time in my M box and I can certainly give

you the information to either Charleston or Augusta. And what would happened is you would give them a call. They would give you a preliminary little work up form to just get a short health history on that person and then from there, if everything checks out, then um, they will send you a heart monitor to wear it for about twenty four hours just to just engage your hard activity. And if that all goes well there was, they will send you a blood packet to go to the lab

core wherever you live. Wherever you live in the nation, they will send you to that lab corp and then you'll get worked up and then after that we would set h surgery schedule and we'll go in together. We're going at the same time. They will remove the kidney from the donor and put it right at me because the kidney can't be out in the more in thirty minutes.

After thirty minutes, it'll started the k oh Um. The reason I ask people to donate to my go fund me is because I have to pay for the well well, basically for the person who wants to donate. All of the expenses comes out of my insurance. You don't pay

a dime. So you mean like the surgery, the surgery, the travel, the hotel afterwards, because it would like for us to stay in Charleston or augusta full week we can have just to keep up with how well the surgery, sight is healing, and see doctors and and cash shop is dollar signed DJ shoke, what's to go from me? Yeah? The link is on my Instagram. It's right there in the It's right there in the bio. So if you pull up my Instagram DJ Shok eight oh three, it's

the link is right there in the buyo. Let me see me pull it up. I know you're looking for, right, would you take Charlemagne's or you know he's been through so much like that's just one I passed on. I would get it. I would give shocker kidney. I just don't have my mind off. I just said, you know, yeah, I know it. I know it for a lot, a lot, a lot short of time than you do. And I see where his kidney been through, so I'm just saying, would you take his I wouldn't take you. I'll be like, nah,

I passed that one at this time. I would take anyone's kidney just to be able to be back to where I want to be one hundred for say, um to be honest, I mean I feel great right now I talk to you guys, but I know once I get a kidney, I feel a hundred times more greater. Okay, Yeah, I'm looking at the go fund me. It looks like it's GoFundMe dot com backslash saved slash shock. I don't know how to read, you know, save shocks life. Yeah, I mean you got a goal of ten thousand, you're

almost there. I'm about to throw I'm gonna throw something in there right now, but you're probably gonna have to increase that after the day. But um, yeah, man, support my dude, DJ shock. Anybody out there that you know wants to donate a kidney, or if you're an I don't know, somebody that just passed away and their Oregon doner. I don't know how any of this works. I just would like to see my manette get a kidney transplant. Man, Yeah, exactly.

I definitely would appreciate it. Like I said, I got a lot of um just just gumps in to do this from watching scar Face Score, from watching Scarface Story, from watching Freeway Story. Um shoot. Shout out to my nurses and doctors who's been egging me for for forever to to just just to share my story because I kept it in for so long, because I kind of feel embarrassed just I thought that I left my I let a lot of people down just buy my eating

habits and stuff. But since then, man, like that water, you drink it right now, Man, I missed doing that. Bro. I used to like, I used to have like three four those of a day. I shouldn't even did that in front of you. Oh man, it's all good. It's got to email. Shot. You gotta email. People can hit you up at Yeah, I gotta email. It's U s h o k MP three's at Gmail once again as s h ok MP three s at Gmail. And if you nigga send my man music instead of goddamn sending

him anything about this kidney, we're gonna fight. Probably I probably would get a ton of music and just and just no, he's not a Cowboys fan, so he's good on this side. N I'm Green Bay Packet for Life and Roger's my guy. Alright, Sean, thank you my brother. Man. Um, I'm keep checking in with you, but but I appreciate you. Man. I'm praying for you, and I know something good gonna come to this. I pray so my brother, thank you so much for this opportunity. Man. Thank mister Fanil too

for putting this together. And I want to thank everyone who's who's been supporting the past two years. Yeah, Eddie, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. But I want to think anybody who's been supporting me for years. Um, I think I think my clinic, Midtown Clinic in Columbia, South Carolina, Meta Laid Clinic, Columbia Home Clinic, UM, and a bunch of people who I talked to each and every day who I sent support

too when they send support to me. Because it's a bunch of people just in the Columbia area alone that I've learned that's going through the same thing I'm going through. So hats softly, y'all, keep your heads up. We're praying for you. I'm praying for you, and we're gonna live. We're gonna get through this. Shock, Thank you, King, appreciate you Kings. I don't like eating people through zoom, you know what I mean? And I think I think, uh, you know, he deserves a better look than that. Shoot a man DJ Drama. So Jack Halo, we're gonna We're gonna have Jack Harlo in studio. Yeah, so he dropped the project,

so you could definitely pick that up. I believe Kamaya dropped the new project called No Explanations today and also Fatty Whopping. You know the vibe that all came out today as well. Now, Charlomagne, you should be excited. Marvel released on their Instagram all the new projects that are going to going to be coming out next showed about that. Oh, let's talk about it. Yesterday I was glued to Marvel's I G page. Okay, I am so glad I have

Disney Plus. The only reason I ordered Disney Plus is because of all the Marvel TV shows that they had coming out. But nowadays, in my house, Disney Plus is all Sheriff Callie and Blue. Our kids love Blue. Your kids watched Bloody. Yep, we watched so much Blue that I walk around the house screaming, Mom, Dad, Bank. Some of the titles are Captain Marvel two, Captain Marvel, Too Fast, and Fantastic four Movie. They're doing a Moon Night TV show,

a Secret Invasion TV show. She Hawk as you just said, they put the trailers out for Fact Falcon and went to s Winter Soldier. Why did you just go home? What if? What? Secret Invasion? What do you mean? That doesn't sound like a real movie. That sounds like an adult film where the girls never show up? All right, shut up? All right? Wand Division is a TV show show. And I'm gonna tell you something. They're doing an iron Heart TV show. If you don't know who iron Heart is,

her name is Ri Williams from Chicago. She's a young black princess who is Tony Starks, protege man Disney Plus. Drop on a clues BONX for Disney Plus. Y'all was cooking before. But this is what I subscribed to you for. I am happy? Yes, okay, oh okay? Yeah? Am I supposed to be that excited as well. I mean it depends how secret you like your invasions. Oh my goodness. And lastly, we reported yesterday that Tiffany Hatters that the Grammys reached out to her to host an event, but

they had no money. They wasn't gonna pay for nothing. They theyn't want to pay for hand makeup, wardrobe or not a So Tiffany had it said hell no. Well they responded with an apology, let's hear it. Unfortunately, and without me knowing, a talent booker working for the Academy told Miss Hattris that we wouldn't even cover her costs while she hosted this event for us. To me, that

was wrong. I'm frustrated by that decision and it was disrespectful. Thankfully, miss Hattus was gracious enough to allow me to have a conversation with her. I apologize to her personally, and I apologize to her from the academy. I expressed her in my regret and my displeasure about how this went down, and I was handled as They should apologize, okay, And the reason they should apologize is the same reason the whole industry should apologize. Every single industry needs to stop

playing with people, especially black people. The days of us just being happy to be in the room are over. Deal with us fairly, or don't deal with us at all. And I respect Tiffany for not agreeing to do it. That's the thing about business negotiations. You know, you don't have to agree to things that you don't want to do. If you know something isn't fair, don't do it. And then don't do something that you know isn't fair and

then complain about it later. We all at the age and wage that we don't have to do anything we don't want to do absolutely well, and that is you hold. And I want to say, folks be trying Tiffany like they'd be trying to give Tiffany flack. You know, Oh, she's a coon. She she's that what I'm telling you. I've seen her deal with these corporate white folks, and she don't be bending for them at all. Right, she

fights for black people. I've seen it. So when people wonder why I ride hard for certain folks like Tiffany, it's because I see how hard they ride for us where it matters, which is in them offices in boardrooms. Absolutely. All right, Well that is your rumor. Report that Up next, we got the People's Choice Mix. You know, Fridays we throw back, but you know the last couple of Fridays, let's play some holiday music. Man hip hop. We make holiday music too, whether it's a run DMC, whether it's

Summer Walker, whether about Players Ball, Outcast Players Ball. Every want here a little the Ball Christmas Trees with Queen Monica, but Outcast Players Ball is a Christmas record. That's a holiday record. People forget that, all right, So we're gonna get all that on during the mix, so don't move. It's to Breakfast Club. Good morning morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela, Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club.

We gotta shout out to Monica now. Monica is is the mother of Young Chanelle, a lyric Young Chanelle on Instagram, who was dealing and fighting cancer. She called today. I mean you've probably seen Lyric with traded truth Cardie B talked about as so many different celebrities, but she's going through through cancer and she needs some help. So we had her on here to talk about what's going on with her. So shout to her for joining us. And if you can donate, we're gonna do a huge block

party this Sunday on Young Chanelle's page. That's that's the young Girl Lyric Uh and that's why h U n G, dot c h A and Eat L Underscore and it's your favorite DJ's will be spending all Sunday to just try to raise some money for the family and for her and for her treatment. And also shout out to DJ Shock who checked in today, to my brother DJ shock Man. DJ Shock is from South Carolina. We ran

together in Colombia, South Carolina back in the day. And you know, the reason I'm happy that DJ Shock told this story is because it's a story that happens too often for black men, right, Like, you know, we don't take care of ourselves, we don't go to the doctor. You know, we don't eat right, and that lifestyle catches

up to you. So now my man DJ Shot needs a kidney transplant because of all those years of DJ and and those late nights, early mornings, you know, eating late not even good, and he needs a kidney transplant. So you know, I'm gona hit him up in a few hit him up later just to see, you know, what his email is looking like, what the response has been. But I really hope the brother you know, finds a

kidney because these are really really good dude. All right, well, when we come back, we got the positive notes, so don't move. It's to breakfast club. Good morning. It's time to get up out of here. Shut them and you got a positive note, bro. Yeah, and you know we're saying this is the last, the last show of the year, but you know it's not like me and Envy are going anywhere. We're home and we got our equipment and there is gonna be a couple of interviews that we

do next week. So who knows, we may we might pop on and do a show next week. I don't know, but I do want to tell everybody to go out there in pre order to Mica Mallory's book, State of Emergency. It'll be out May eleven, twenty and twenty months, but you can pre order it right now everywhere you buy books. I'm currently reading the manuscript man I love I love to make it before, but I love her even more now.

And sleut to my guy Andrew Schultz. Um. Andrew Scholtz's Netflix special will be out next Thursday, December seventeenth, is called Schultz Saves America. So check that out all right now. The positive note is simply this. You can't be committed to your BS and your growth. I repeat, you can't be committed to your BS and your growth. It's one of the other choose why you'll finish for y'all, dumb
