Charlomagne, the gout, the ruler, rubbing you the wrong way. The breakfast club for everybody. Good morning Usa yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo
yo yo yo yo yo. Good morning angela ye, good money. He's Amni Charlomagne, the guy hestend up planning this Friday. Yes, it's Friday. Thank you keep here. And I am so excited me too. Today is my wife's birthday. Okay, now some crazy ish happened. This is how no gods in my life and all over right, so you gotta break it down with me right fast. December twenty eighth was my son's birthday. Right for my son's birthday, I got him a bunch of balloons and everything to wish them
had happy birthday. So the kids play with the balloons. So the balloons fly to the ceiling in the family room. Right now, today is February first, So last night we were sleeping, I set my clock for eleven fifty nine to wake up for my wife's birthday. So I wake up for my wife's birthday. See happy birthday. This stand and yea. We look up and one of the balloons is actually in the room. That says happy birthday. So I thought maybe one of the kids brought the balloon
in the room, just standing yea, YadA YadA. Yeah. I was like, well, I call Madison. Madison was sleeping. I call Logan. Logo was sleeping. So I went to the camera. So the camera shows the balloon at the ceiling, come down from the ceiling, go up the stairs, right around, come in my door, and hover over my bed to say happy birthday. I have it on camera. It sounds a little scary, it is. My daughter was freaked out, but I was like, that's God saying happy birthday. That's
how I took it. That or positive being, or maybe my wife's father who passed away could just be a ghost, or it could But then when I woke up this morning, the balloon was deflated on the floor. So not a good time. No, So if you think about it, that balloon stayed up from December twentieth to February first, came in my room and said happy Birthday basically, and then deflated when it was over. That is weird. It's the weirdest thing. And I got it. I have it. I
have it on my phone. You know, I want you to bring a little bit of that stuff you're smoking, because you know my anxiety be I can you know, so you know some next time you smoke that good stuff bringing in here with me like a movie. I know you were gonna see that. You know, I believe it. I show you. I'm gonna show you the video. I'm the guy who believes in sat squashed, I believe in ghost I believe in all of that kind of stuff.
But you know, I just think that that was the fact that you had balloons in the house and it was a little draft, a little draft. The balloons came down, went up the stairs in my bedroom, keep out with over the head, A little draft in the crib. That's all people like you. You had the central heating going to air blowing. You know what I'm saying, Like you boons all over the place. I'm scared for you. Just be careful like the house people like you. All Right. Well,
well I'm out here in Atlanta. I didn't get a lot of sleep. I'm not gonna lie, but shout out to everybody at EA Sports I hosted the live stream me and Terence J of EA Sports Bowl yesterday. That was an amazing concert, by the way, in the State Farm Arena before all right, so uh, Metro Booman started off with twenty one Savage and then after that, Trippy Red came out and then Quality Control came out. So it was a megos. It was Little Baby, Um, Little
Yaddi performed, Ludacris and friends performed. So I saw a ti jeez, I saw a trade of truth was there? Um, Sierra, it was really everybody in Atlantos at this party. Huh Yeah, it was crazy in there. Let me tell you something. That was the That was the real, real halftime. We'll slew to all the women at the twenty four hours pregnant in Atlanta right now and don't even know it. Congratulations. Everybody was out last night. As a matter of fact, my friends are here with me, Paris and Laura, They
haven't even slept yet. Yeah, ill seen puffs, seen puff rinning around the city. I've seen everybody right around the city. So you know, Atlanta is gonna be crazy. So if you go into Atlanta this weekend, traffic is gonna be disgusting. Y'll be prepared to sit in a lot of traffic, y'all can imagine. So all right, I'll be down there today. I'm leaving right after the show, so I'll see you'd be prepared to sit in a lot of traffic too, because it is. It is a lot to sure, I'm sure.
All right, Well, let's get the show cracking. Front page news. What we're talking about. Let's talk about your nixt Envy. Yeah, I mean, we'll talk about the NBA. I was playing NBA Live yesterday. Were the Knicks? No, nobody wanted to be the Knicks. Oh great, all right, well we'll talk about it when we come back. Keep a lot just to Breakfast Club. Good morning, Good morning. Everybody is DJ Envy and Angela yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the
Breakfast Club. Let's getting some front page news. And by the way, I just gonna tall. I showed up our producer and the cameraman in the video of the balloon coming upstairs everything I want to show you so and what did he say to you, same thing I said to you. Damn draft, it's definitely the draft. No it's not. But anyway, now the Knicks, um, it looks like they got rid of their whole squad, whole team. They're creating
a lot of caps face shut up. Oh, it looks like they're gonna try to get one of these big free agents over the summer. Soul. You would have to trade your best asset, a potential All Star, and Kristaps Pozingis has only been playing in the league three years. He didn't want to be here anymore. I'm not mad at Poz. I'm not mad at that trade. Pouzingis was injured two years out of the three. So we don't
know so crazy about New York media. When Chris Stapps first got drafted, I gave y'all donkey the day because y'all defecated all over him. He's the worst player in the world, and he bawled out and y'all loved him. Now that he wants to leave, y'all defecating on him again, you know they're treating Chris STAPs On Zingers like he's a black man who got shot by the police and they're bringing up his paul criminal record. All of us necessarily the best person. He necessarily hasn't proven him So
I didn't say none of that. I just say necessarily hasn't proven himself. He was injured two or three years so we don't know its potential. So the fact, oh my god, they're possibly trying to restructure. I'm not mad at that. We sucked, regardless of y'all need to blame mother nature, not the next Because it was so cold in York yesterday. It was so cold in New York yesterday, I started to request the trade. Okay, send me someplace warm, all right, That's what Christaps did. Chris da was like, man,
it's too cold here. I need to get the hell about here. By the person is right, the truth will come out. Exactly. I don't know. I don't know why you wrote that, but exactly exactly. Don't even Also, New Yorkers are so gullible. I'm shocked that y'all have never tried to buy that bridge in Brooklyn. You know, they only tell you you got a bridge Brooklyn I'm probrised to New Yorker cause they sell y'all hope to buy
tickets and y'all feed into it. They have on the front of the back of the paper this morning, Zion Williamson, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. This is the reason that they told y'all they made this trade so they can land these three people. None of this is happening. New Yorkers always do this. They do this, They've been doing this. I've been here for thirteen fourteen years now. I've seen Lebron James and this Jersey set. We got some big players. We had a March start of my eye. It just
didn't work out. We had called Melo Anthony. That didn't work out. Only two people who wanted to come here. Amorry came here because y'all the only people that would give him an inflated contract, which they did. So we tried. They knew that his knees only had another year and a half, and we tried. Melow blew up the whole team to get mellow here. Melows from here right, tried to do the right thing. I didn't work out, and everybody saw those twos and you know what, I'm not
ever coming out everything. Guess what, we still have the Brooklyn Nets. Yep, you're right, yep, all right, and let's talk about the weather. You guys will be happy to know that the weather is getting better, but especially in the Midwest. I mean, it's been really crazy. More than two hundred and sixteen million people had temperatures below freezing. They said. At least twenty one people have died because
of weather related issues. There was an eighteen year old in his first year at the University of Iowa who died. They're trying to figure out what happened. He was only a short walk from his dorm. He was found unconscious outside of a campus building. People were really actually freezing to death, so there were people who are hypothermia frost bite. A lot of businesses, schools, and many colleges were closed yesterday. But things should be getting better now, so they expect
that that will happen. It was a big headache for a lot of people. Unfortunately, it did result in the death of some people. Wow, all right, you know, it's very really kind of warm at weeh, it'd be like seventy degrees this week. Well, Dallas dropping a clue bumps with Chris gos pazingis alright, demanding the trade, getting the hell out of here, doing what's best for his knees in this cold weather. They were nearly fifty frost bite victims in Chicago. And let's go to Chicago now and
talk about Jesse Smillett. Because Donald Trump has reacted when asked from the Oval Office about the Empire Stars case. Here's what he had to say that I can tell you I've seen it. It doesn't get worse. Many of those people wanted me to stay out, but I didn't want to do it because people were getting hurt. Well, I think is the worst syllable is the fact that we're allowing people to come into this country and sell drugs and human traffics and do all these horrible things.
But if we had the simplicity of a well constructed, beautiful barrier or wall. Are y'all sure they're asking about Jesse smillections. Yeah, that was because I didn't hear the question, did y'all? Are y'all sure he didn't he was asked about yea, he was asked about the host of two weeks about Jesse smile at the Empire Star and what's crazy is held saw it. No nobody saw. He said,
I saw it. We should just build a wall. I don't know what he's talking, but maybe he saw a picture of Jesse Smilett with you know, in the hospital. I don't know what he saw. I don't even know if he knows what empire is. Trump said, empire when you can't build an empire without walls. And that's what we're gonna do. We're gonna build the wall of protect our empire. But you know, it's important because Jesse Smilett did say that the guys were yelling out Maga country
and all of that. So clearly that has something to do with the message that Donald Trump has been pushing. And Donald Trump has talked about this approach to the shutdown negotiations because there are no negotiations. He will not negotiate on the wall. Here's what he said. If they don't give us a wall, it doesn't work. If I didn't do the shutdown, people wouldn't know, they wouldn't understan and the subject. Now they understand the subject, they realize
what a humanitarian crescents it is. When February fifteenth, the committee will come back and if they don't have a wall, I don't even want to waste my time reading what they have. All right, right, we'll see well last front page news. Get it off your chests eight hundred five eight five one o five one. If you need to vent, hit us up now. It's the Breakfast Club. What I do is I'm selling women's leggings, uh, men's on women's hills, men's sneakers, suits, things like that, you know, trying to just get something off the ground, trying to get something to back to my kids before they get you know, say too old. You know, as parents, we don't think about that a lot. We just think about the every day back and forth. You know. All right, welcome graduating. I was looking for some legans yesterday. How y'all right? Yeah? Yeah, just so you know, frustrated with the job work sixty hours a week, crazy. I'm up here at six o'clock in
the morning. I just was looking for a little investment advice from DJ andvy how to try to get some property out there making that kind of money and trying to get figure out these down payments for these houses. How's your credit, bro? My credit I just finally got it up there. My credit is pretty good right now. It's pretty good over six fifty. It's getting up to
the seven hund almost seven hundred right now. Okay, you gotta get over a seven hundred and then the banks will be able to get you loans at low interest rate. And how much money you have money save? Bro? Yeah, I got a little bit of money. But you know how it is if you buy something more than two or three apartments, you know what I mean. You you just considered a you know, like a business. So the bigger down payment not necessarily not if you live in it. Man.
If if do you live an apartment, noality living at home? Now? No, we live in a house. Now. Okay, if you get a um you can do it where you get a three unit and but you just have to live in
one of the units. You can get a three percent loan and in that way, you know, you don't have to put a huge down payment in Okay, okay, okay, but um, if you have any other advice on how to how to get like you know those I'm just trying to look into those, you know, online investing things, trying to go to those meet throughout these hotels type of deals. And you know, I don't believe in a lot of our stuff, but I was listening to your
interviews lately, especially the one with Kill. The mic was a little controversial right there, but I like the energy, so you know what, it's gotta keep a watching. Yeah. Now, the whole sale of things, it's a little difficult, takes. It requires a lot of work. It can work. It it works for very few, but it can. I do more to flipping and renting. But you hold on the line and I'll give you my guys numbing to see if you can get you a loan for your credit
and everything. All right, appreciate it, hold on, don't hang up, get it off your chests. Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. If you need to vent, hit this up right now. Card you said she got a man. You said that before you started talking. But listen, man, I don't be calling for
like that. I know my place. I play my position. That's how everybody got to do, is P y P play your position. Remember, you can't buy them the whole, the whole Jersey. Baby, I'm not I'm the whole jersey. I'm not trying to buy the whole. I'm just trying to invest them, trying to teach my people how to
do it too. We're your next him all. We're doing a ride along in February where we actually gonna take like maybe a hundred people, only like a hundred people and take them to some of the properties so they could actually see renovation, flipping and all that other stuff. I'm doing that February, and martre doing something in Atlantic City because I think Atlantic City is a hot market.
Solantic City, hundred black people to go look at properties. Yeah, we're just gonna bring the property value down in the neighborhood. Direct people like you, people like you. I love y'all. Many people like you. And what if you said, a hundred people walking around your neighbor I'm not investing here. I wouldn't mind. I wouldn't mind. I don't care. And it's not just black people as black people is all.
It's gonna know what he's doing and be taking a hundred black people to this neighborhood to bring the property value down there you're gonna buy It's black people do not bring a neighborhood value, asks us. Get it off your chest. Eight hundred five A five, one oh five one. We got roomors on the way. Yes, we are going to talk about Jesse Smilling will give you an update on what the police have found out about what happened with him. All right, we'll get into that next. Keep

American Soul series premieres Tuesday February fifth at nine eighth Central on B et the Breakfast Club morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy.
We are to Breakfast Club. Let's get to these roomors to sulk Jesse Smullett. This is the Ruble Report with Angela years well, Jesse Smillett will be performing in la and that's going to be happening tomorrow. He already had this show planned and he's gonna be there. It's sold out and they said he is going to address the attack that just happened in Chicago. So he does still have the scars to swelling in all of that, but the show must go on now. There were some things
that he wanted to clarify through his reps. At first, they said he refused to hand over his phone records and his phone to cops. That's not what happened. The sources say that the cops asked him if he would surrender his phone to verify that he was talking to his manager on his cell when he was attacked. He didn't want to hand over his phone because who would want to do that? Then you don't have a phone, and you don't know what they're going through and looking
at all. He said he had no problem handing over his phone records though. Yeah, that's I'm saying. I wouldn't need to look at his phone records. I don't Undersand why why he needs to turn over his phone for him to see if he was on the phone with his manager. Yeah, he's in the process of gathering his phone records now so that he can give that to the The sources also said the assailants were not wearing Maga hats, even though some outlets reported that they were.
That they simply screamed out Maga Country and that the rope around his neck. Now, if you guys have been paying attention to the story, you know, they said that he did walk into the building and did have that noose around his neck. So apparently, according to reports, they do have video of Jesse with that rope draped around his neck as he walked through the lobby of his building, and that was all unsurveillance camera. Well, you know, social
media is a bad game of telephone. So it went from the guys attacking him screaming out this is Maga country too, they had on Maga hats by the time the story went around social media. Fui. Media is a bad game of telephone. Now. In addition to all of that, his sister, you know, Journey Smilett, has commented and talked about how he is so resilient even though all of this has happened to him. You know, everything is still
the show must go on. So you know, shout out to him, she said, because there's a light in him that cannot be dimmed. Because we are a family of joyful warriors. Will not let this get the best of us. Although this is a picture from happier times, this is the spirit to which we chose to move forward. They will not steal our joy. Hey, listen, why I let hate win? The world keep spending. The show must go on. I'm glad Jesse's back on his feet and performing this weekend,
but I'm shocked he's not in Atlanta. That's what the party's at well for super Bowl. Yeah, he's going with the money at you got a show to get that breed will go get his money now. Kevin Hart got some backlash after sending his prayers to Jesse Smollett. If you guys recall he tweeted about standing with this man and his time of hurt and all of that, and somebody comments that A lot of people did comment about that,
and one person said, at Ira said, your funniest joke. Congrats, he's the host of Crooked Media's keep It now Ken. Why was that a joke for him to wish Jesse positively? Well, I'll tell you what their exchange was. Kevin said, I stand with a man in his time of hurt and need by giving him heartfelt support. And you take the time to harp on my ten year past that I have apologized about and moved on from by being a better person. Do you want change? If so, I am
an example of what you want people to do. Change real. And that's when I responded, I harp because my community of black queer people faced violence three sixty five in America. And when we tried to tell you that we weren't trolling you, but wanted to educate how your jokes lead to actions like what happened to Jesse, you went on Ellen to talk about your wheelchair movie. So that was the response. This was stupid, man. This is people who just want to be mad to be mad. You don't
want to care to be homophobic. So bad, He's grown, He's evolved. I saw an article on Vibe yesterday that said the silence of straight black men when it comes to Jesse Smolett is deafening. I'm like, I saw everybody. I saw a lot of people posting in exactly everybody Mama was posting of, you know, blessing to Jesse and they wishing well and what happened was wrong. So I'm like, why would you even write an article like that? All right, now,
Arianna Grande, she has fixed her tattooed. So she thought we told you about how she tried to get her seven rings tattoo and it ended up saying Japanese barbecue because she got one of the characters. Well, now she has added that character in and put up a screenshot of that, but it didn't work out. Now that actually says Japanese barbecue finger, so she added the wrong character again. My god, that ain't. You're making this up? No, I'm
not making it. Who's reporting who's reporting this? TMZ? My god? Not the TMZ's always right, but my god, whatever language you speak, Ariana, that's what you need to get on your arm. So at least you know what you're getting right, just write it in English or I don't know. People are being funny at this point. All right in Ariana Grande, she's patched things up with two change and we're still
talking about the Seven Rings. If you guys remember he had an issue with the pink car that she had in her the pink car she had in the video, saying it was an imitation of what he had done with the pink Trap house, the pink car and all of that. Well, now he's on the remix of Seven Rings. Here's a snippet for you. Deal, so price this. I know I'm the nicest. I knew you would like to I must be psychic. I'm from the streets. Baby, I'm nothing like the She's sweet and good day, but freaky
when night comes up. It's mine invested. I spent it on neck. Oh I got the cash if I don't keep credit, and I'm well respected, so she feel protected. So scratch y'all that exit next contest. That's a fair trade. You still my idea? Give me a feature. Man. The pink trap house that she had the video looked just like his, and a lot of people pointed it out. So at least the two have made up. Now he's on the remix. That's a good way to pay homage. I still want you to tell everybody you got that
idea from me, though, agreed. All right, Well I am Angela Yee and that is your rumor report. All right. Now, when we come back, we got front page news. What we're talking about. Let's talk about this weather. It looks like there's a break coming up. But unfortunately there were some casualties. All right, we'll get into that next. Keep a lock this to Breakfast Club. Good morning morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy we are
the Breakfast Club, Good morning. What's happening? Is Bowl weekend slot? All the women in Atlanta that's twenty four hours pregnant right now, I don't even know it. Let's get in some front page news. What we're talking about you, Well, let's talk about the weather. It looks like things are going to be easing up, so that's going to be fortunate for everybody. In Chicago, they said they were at
least about twenty one casualties that were weather related. So again, our condolences out to the families of those people who are suffering from that. But unfortunately in the Midwest, and they had to send out alerts to everybody to not leave the house, to just stay indoors. A lot of offices and businesses were closed. They weren't delivering mail. In Chicago. A lot of those flights were canceled, so hopefully things
will be better soon. It was so cold yesterday that I went in to Target and bought me some thermal pants. I ain't wore thermal pants since elementary school. Bro, that's freeze. Because you know why I got yesterday. I felt like, you know, you layered at the top, but the ain't a layers at the bottom. Is not your jeans in your drolls. So I wouldn't got me some thermal pants. I got them on right now. Listen, it's cold in Atlanta, but it's in the thirties cold. It's not like it
is back there. So it's gonna go out to fifty today, right, fifty five or something like that. Yeah, And you know there's a term for all this weather. I forget what exactly what they call it. But the way, the way that it goes from so extreme to then it gets so much warmer. So they said people actually have issues with that too. Is just the way the weather changes so abruptly. How does it go from like negative twenty to fifty degrees? You know, it sounds like a human
being to me. Our attitudes go up and down sometimes. All right, now, let's talk about Donald Trump's reaction to Jesse Smilet's attack. He was asked from the Oval Office what he thought about it, and here's what he said, and that I can tell you I've seen it. It doesn't get worse. Many of those people wanted me to stay at it, but I didn't want to do it
because people were getting hurt. Well, I think is the worst syllable is the fact that we're allowing people to come into this country and sell drugs and human traffic and do all of these horrible things that if we had the simplicity of a well constructed, beautiful barrier or wall. Trump's said, empire, Well, you can't build an empire without walls, and that's what we're gonna do. We're gonna build a
wall and protect our empire. What if when he said it's horrible, he's seen it, he was actually talking about the TV showing. Empl'm saying, play the Clipper game. When he starts just the beginning, I see it's horrible that I can tell you it's horrible. Stopped. What if he's just talking about the TV show? Shut up. I'm shut up because I can't believe he would answer that question. That would like, yeah, seen it. That's horrible. Now we're all waiting to see what's gonna happen because you know
this government shut down. Um, we're only temporarily reopened until they figure out what they're going to do with the Democrats and Republicans with this wall that Donald Trump wants to build. And it looks like for him, there's no negotiating that wall. Here's what he had to say. If they don't give us a wall, it doesn't work. If I didn't do the shutdown, people wouldn't know, they wouldn't understand the subject. Now they understand the subject, they realize
what a humanitarian crest is. It is when February fifteenth, the committee will come back, and if they don't have a wall, I don't even want to waste my time reading what they have. Jesus Christ, what a man child. I'm not even going to try to compromise. Okay, if they don't have what I want, then it's not gonna happen. Horrible, He's not gonna shut the government down again. I don't think I don't think he'll do that again. I don't know his ego so big yeah, and Donald Trump Junior.
By the way, this is funny. He tried to discuss some things and be clever, I guess. And he said it's almost like a funny version of an S and L skit s n L, S and L. That's how he responded when John Willow wrote, so twenty twenty m platform is no private healthcare and kill fully formed two seconds from birth babies. So you mean and like the symbol yeah, like yeah right, yeah, R and B Yeah, yeah, R and B. That was his Uh, I guess he does. Well, maybe it's a different show. We don't know of. It's
Level's just stapidity, bro. I just want you all to know that it is Level's toy stapidity when you know how dumb you gotta be. The misspeller acronym I ain't even asked to. Okay, all right, well that is your front page news. All right, thank you, miss y eight. Now let's open up the phone lines eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. Yesterday Killer Mike was on the show We would talk in public school versus
private school. I don't have no problems with you loving your children, but my children go to public school because I pay taxes in public schools and they name for black people. Some public school teachers are there and they don't give it all, and some of them don't have the tools that the same schools that other schools have.
But if you're going to simply tell me there's a great business curriculum, now, I'm going to retort to say, at George Washington Carver High School in Atlanta, they have a dry cleaning program, they have a T shirt printing program, they have auto mechanics. But in these other schools, they teach you how to be billionaires. All right, So let's open up the phone lines eight hundred five, eight five, one oh five one. We're talking in public school versus
private school. And this conversation came from me and Killer Mike yesterday having a conversation the Lively discussion. I want to call my homegirl. She's the CEO of Regeneration Schools. Her name is I call a principal shell Stay. She sells. She has three campuses, six schools on the South side of Chicago, and she's opening up another school in Cincinnati this fall. So she has some thoughts on the situation
that I'm actually going to Chicago to do something with her. Yes, she told me, yeah, okay, all right, we'll talk about it when we come back, and we'll take your phone calls. It's to Breakfast Club. Good Morning, the Morning. Everybody is DJ M, v Angela, Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Now we're talking public school versus private school. Now, this conversation came about with me and Killer Mike yesterday. We had a conversation and people were talking about it
all day yesterday about public school private school. I don't have no problems with you loving your children, but my children go to public school because I pay taxes in public schools, and they name for black people. Some public school teachers are there and they don't give it all, and some of them don't have the tools that the
same schools that other schools have. But if you're going to simply tell me there's a great business curriculum, now, I'm going to retort to say, at George Washington Carver High School in Atlanta, they have a dry cleaning program, they have a t shirt printing program. They have autt mechanics. But in these other schools they teach you how to be billionaires. So we just opened it up the phone lines eight hundred five, eight five one or five one. Now,
what do you guys stink? I don't think either one of you were wrong. I think the optics of the conversation made it look worse than what it was. Killer Mike is you know, big and loud and aggressive and your page and you know sensitive. Yeah, so I just think that it looked worse than what it actually was. But I just think it all boils down the options.
You know what I'm saying. I think that parents need options, you know, and that's if you if you, if you look up schools in your area, because I mean, my kids go to private school, but my kids go to private school because in the area I live in, when I looked up the best public schools and the best private schools, the best private schools honestly were just closer. The best schools were private, and they were closer to
where I live. And pay attention to how your kids are learning and growing, because like I said, you know, I wasn't enjoying going to private school. At all. I didn't feel like it was that beneficial to me. In some ways it was, there were some things I enjoyed, but I think overall I had to leave there and go to public school. Go for myself. Well, first of all, it's not about being baiged. It's about it. I didn't
raise my voice, not but what the problem? You always keep saying, oh, bage rais, paie rais and people It wasn't. We were just having a conversation, wasn't. Yeah, because Charloagne put the meter. But when it comes to you know, my kids in their school, I picked with school I feel is best. Now my kids were in public school, they were and I didn't like the curriculum. I didn't like how they were being taught. It was more kids in the school than not necessarily wanted. And now that
they're in private school they get a better education. That that's hands down what it is. That's from my experience. That's from what I've seen particular school. Yeah, from my particular schools and even from being in Queens, what I seen in Queens. So if I seen it when I was a kid, and I've seen it raising my kids, I absolutely positively believe it now I know a lot of teachers were mad and they said, oh, you said
that we don't teach. No, I didn't say that. I said that in certain some experiences, in some experiences that I have seen personally myself, teachers in those areas in new schools did not teach like these other schools. And that's because I feel like there's no accountability at times. When my daughter goes to school every or every Wednesday, we get an email from the teachers saying how the school is doing and what they're being taught and what they're learning. I didn't get that at for my kids
public schools. Also, there's somebody to make sure that they're actually That would the public school, though it's very important to say that, and three different public schools, three different public schools that I had that when when I was a kid and when my kids went to I did not see none of that. That's why I said some
teachers and I didn't say all yes. And if you really listen to the interview, Killer Mike went on and did that whole spill, and then at the end he says, but I'm sending my daughter to private school next year. Do you think that he was putting words in your mouth. But what he was saying was that he thinks that he was saying it was early on, it's better to send your kids to public school, and then later on when they turned like twelve or thirteen. That's what he
was saying. Do you think he was putting words in your mouth? No, he was trying to shut up Charlemagne. No, because I'm saying because you might have said some things that you may not have meant to say, like this, don't put penis my mouth. I don't put penis in yours. You played too much. See I'm being serious. Put that? Did you put that in your mouth? You know what? We're trying to have the serious conversation and you playing. We have Lexi on the line, Lexi, good morning morning.
Hey we're talking public school versus private school. What do you feel I mean, defink envy. I'm completely on your side. I went to a public high school here, and I feel like I was in a major disservice even when it came to college prep, like they didn't really prepare us to go to college. I know that nobody wants to hold anybody's hands, but how can you not hold
my hand on something that I don't know anything about. UM. And even when it came to class sizes and teachers, like the teachers are overworked, they're not really paying attention to all the students. It really does a disservice, especially within our community. Oh, teachers would be mad at you don't say that. I don't care. I mean there's some great teachers that work really hard that she's not talking about the great teachers. She's talking about the teachers that
she's deal with. They just say teachers will be mad. Yes. And there's some really great public schools and there's some really bad public schools. There's some really great private schools, and it's some really bad sharing you there, Yeah, good morning, Sharon. We're talking about public school versus private school. It's definitely awesome. Platform is definitely a need for private schools and the knowledge of it in our community. I'm a single black parent.
I raised I'm still raising one. But I have three daughters or three of them went to private school. The oldest one is her has two master degrees and a PA degree. My middle daughter has an undersador's degree, and my youngest daughter is in high school now making honor Rose. I thank god, for the opportunity to have been in private school because because it gave them, my children the opportunity to experience things they would not be allowed to
experience in public school because of funding. One of the greatest things that we have is the ability to go to private school because they offer scholarships. I'm a poor I was considered poor, I was living in apartment. Did my daughters get scrutinized for being black and poor in that school system? Yes, they did, but it gave them the strength they have now. Because regardless when we get in the upper world, when we get in or we're growing and women, white call working or blue collar working,
We're still going to get discriminated against. We're still gonna have things not given to us because of who we are or the sects that we are. But the private school, the racism and the discriminations they went through through that and the education they learned made them the powerful women
they are today. And I thank God for it, and I taught anyone, Yes, you can afford it, because they have plenty of scholarships for US, Blacks, Hispanics, whatever the minority is, jail female, they have an available and I'm glad you said that, because that's how I ended up
going to private school because the scholarships. But the reason I got that was because the public school that I was in, it was a great public school in Brooklyn, PS two thirty five, and I actually tested into this program, Prep for Prep that actually is a free program that helps you go to a school and help you get that funding to be able to do that. So yeah, I think with teachers getting mad at is the stigma of public schools, Like just because of the school is
private doesn't mean it's better. Just because the school is public doesn't mean it's worse. It's just about the system, not the school. Because there's some public schools in Jersey that are some of the best in the state. I mean they're in Saddle River, yes, but it's still there. You gotta have that money, but still eight hundred five school. We'll take your calls. Keep a lock. This to Breakfast Luble Money Morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlemagne
the God. We are the Breakfast Club. And now if you just joined us, we're talking public school versus private school. This conversation came out of I would say a conversation that me and killer, Mike had Lively debates, Yeah, this is let's let's play a clip of it. I don't have no problems with you loving your children, but my children go to public school because I pay taxes in
public schools and they name for black people. Some public school teachers are there and they don't give it all, and some of them don't have the tools that the same schools that other schools have. But if you're gonna simply tell me there's a great business curriculum, now, I'm going to retort to say, at George Washington Carver High School in Atlanta, they have a dry cleaning program, they have a T shirt printing program, they have autal mechanics.
But in these other schools, they teach you how to be billionaires. And my whole thing with public school versus private school is the public schools that I've experienced with my kids were fine, but I just feel like the curriculum the education at my kids got at private school was just way better. Now, Like, for instance, my daughter's private school, they have a criminal lab where they actually do DNA testing, and I've never seen that at any
other my kids other schools. They have an actual radio station where they teach kids how they do radio. They have a TV station where they teach kids how to do TV. They're recording all that. They have real estate classes where they teach kids how to do real estate. They have a performing arts center where they actually take kids to different places to learn how to play different instruments. I've never seen a lot of those programs and a
lot of the public schools. Not to say that they don't exist, but from what I see, and they didn't exist in the schools that I'm not mad at anything you're saying. I wasn't mad at any the killer. Michael was saying. My mom has been a public school teacher in South Carolina for over thirty plus years, but I send my kids at the private school. You know, I think what teachers getting mad at is the stigma of public schools because just because the school is private doesn't
mean it's better. Just because the school is public doesn't mean it's worse. Like it's just about the system, not to school. And I think that you just got to do your research, you know. I actually, yeah, I actually went to school, and at first I thought I was going to be a teacher. I was taking all these education courses and I taught in Washington Heights. I did this whole program when I was in college to be a teacher just because I felt like, we need public
school teachers. Yeah, and that's when my mother was telling me yesterday. My mom was saying, it's so hard to even get people to want to be public school teachers, right, And a lot of that is because it's difficult. They don't have the necessary tools, and the classes of overcrowded, and the money that they're getting paid is not a lot. Yes, we should be paying teachers a lot more. Not only that. You know, when I went to school, yes, you know, when I graduated, I became a DJ, but it was
more about business. I went to school for business marketing, the management, and it taught me how to make money, how to market my money, how to use my money and invest my mo And I learned that from school. And not only that, you know, you know, Killer Mike said, you know, you know, certain schools teach you how to make T shirts and teach you how to do those things, no disrespect. I don't want my kids to know how to make T shirts. That's just sometimes that's somewhere to
don't want my kids to do. Sometimes that's just to start to I'm under speaking more of an entrepreneur later, and I do want to say all this means is that our schools do need more resources, right our public schools, which means that we as individuals, just like Chance the Rapper has done in Chicago, just like Jalen Rose has done into trade, maybe we need to be investing more into our public schools and we need to demand. Yeah,
lawmakers actually make sure there's more funding. And there's nothing wrong with learning the trade because I understand and be what you're saying when you say, you know, they teach your kids to be billionaire. But how many billionaires in America? You know what I'm saying, Like, it's way more people that just work people work same millionaires. Yeah, but it's just way more people work in regular jobs. Like people that work regular job is what really makes the world.
But I also think that people work regular jobs. A lot of people work regular jobs because they don't necessarily know how to invest and become bigger than that because I need my parents didn't you know, I'm sure your parents didn't. But for me, I was taught how to and now my kids are learning that same trade. Listen once again, this is all about options. I think parents need options, and you gotta do what you can what you can do for your kids, and do what's best
for your kids. And sometimes the public school in your area might best for your kids. Sometimes the private school might best in your area if you can afford it. So yeah, let's go to the phone lines. We have April on the line. April, good morning, good morning, good morning, good morning, morning morning, April, Envy, I mean April ahead, Alum, Yes, I wanted to this comment. I'm about the public ends the private schools. Um. I mean, I don't have a
problem with either one. But envy its parents like you that feel like you gotta fool your kids out of public schools is to put them in private schools where really, we should be investing in these neighborhood schools. There's out of schools that's that our neighborhood, Like, what's supposed to be invested in these schools in order for our kids to make sure that they're getting the education that they're
supposed to be getting. Instead of saying, oh that school good enough, I need to put my baby in private school, Like that's not fair. I do think one thing, you're ampro, You're right, and one thing killer Mike said yesterday. And I'm not gonna say, I'm not gonna say you one hundred percent right. But we are taxpayers, so we are paying money. So we have to ensure that these schools
in these public areas all up to part. Even if we don't choose to put our kids in this, know what I'm saying, We should definitely have to hold the school the principles. I understand all teachers, Yeah, teachers not like they used to be at all. They're they're not. They don't. I know, I got some them that's in my kids school. There, you just got. But it doesn't make the whole school bad, you know. But we do have to hold them accountable. Yeah, if they're Yeah, they're
supposed to be held accountable to a certain center. And that is a problem. It is, it is, But it's just it doesn't help that everybody just said they want to take their kids from public schools women in private schools. That's not fixing the prom that's not true. It's definitely not fixing the problem. But but if the problem is not fixed, right now, I gotta worry about my kids education and everything has to be about and at the end of the day, I gotta worry about what's best
for my child. And what's best for my child is making sure she gets the best education and he gets the best education possible. Thank you for your call, Mamma. Thank y'all. A good day, you too, Kenny, Kenny Kenny's dad. Morning. Hey Kenny Kenny, going to Kenny. How you doing? How are you doing? We're talking public school versus private school? What you think private school? Definitely? Definitely. Right now, I'm sending my I'm working two jobs to send my daughter
in the private school. And I'm saying, I'm twenty one, she's on two years old and she in private school already. That's what a mom did for me for me, And I just feel like when when you're in private school, you see your parents working hard, you know they they you know they're spending this money to send your school. So you've got to either pass or you might as well not go to school at all. Like all my friends growing up, they went to public school and they
then jail right now, they dropped out. So what are you doing? You said, you work two jobs. What do you do? What did the private school do for you? All right? Well, right now I started my own business. I work. I do Frey broker in and right now I work cable contractor. So I'm on, yeah, well, thank you brother, And I ain't gonna line Charlemagne because you
I was reading your book. I got your book in November and January, I decided to move to Atlanta because you say, you know, unfortunately you got to make that big step. So I moved from New York to Atlanta to make you know, to save my couple of dollars that I got. Which book do you have? Because I got two national best sellers New York Times best sellers, Black Privilege. I don't want to record the show. I graduated from public thank you. I actually graduated from night school,
Berkeley High School in Monks Corner, South Carolina. And I also want to say that my daughters, both of my kids, went to public school, and I didn't want to take him out of public school because I felt like I was paying taxes and I shouldn't have to. But they just didn't like the school and they weren't getting an education that I thought they deserved. So I had to pay for private school because it was best for them.
I didn't want to. I'm like, I already pay all these high taxes, but I did what was best for them, and I don't regret that decision. And when we come back eight hundred five eighty five, one oh five one, we're gonna be talking to Principal Shels. Yes, principle. She's not a principal no more. She used to be a principal. She's actually CEO of Regeneration Schools. Her name is Stay said, I was a real good friend of mine, and she has some thoughts. She's an expert at this. Okay, we'll
get into that next. Keeping lock this to Breakfast Club. Good morning morning. Everybody's DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Now if you just joined us. We're talking public school versus private school. Now, this conversation came from Killer Mike and I had a discussion yesterday, lively debate. Huh. Now we actually have a principle on the line right now. Yes, this is Stacy Shells. She's the CEO of Regeneration Schools. You're not a principal no more,
are you? Stay? No, I actually managed principles when I managed superintendent, so I've got a network of school um and we're opening our next one into Sinnati, Ohio. Okay, Now, mis Chells has um some very interesting takes. I don't even call them interesting takes. I think that she's an expert in this subject because I'm sure absolutely got three schools in Chicago, right, stay, I have three schools, six campuses,
seventeen hundred kids on the South side of Chicago. Now, you heard Killer Mike and me go back and forth yesterday, and you had some comments, so we're we'd love to hear well. I basically think that it's the wrong conversation to have. I don't think that the debate is between public and private, because parents have a right to send
their kids wherever their opportunity has allotted them. Obamas and his kids to Chicago Lab School here, which is like twenty thousand dollars for kindergarten, and his daughter daughters graduated from Sidwell Friends and private schools aren't going anywhere, and people are not going to take their children out of private school. So I believe in like the daily store, where you change the things that you can and don't
worry about the things that you can. The better conversation is how do we make all schools better so that all parents have better options? And I think that there's no point in criticizing anybody for the options that they're that they are allotted. You worked hard and to get to provide your children with everything you wanted to provide them for, and no one should question you about that. The question is what do we do to make all schools better so that way low income parents have opportunities
to send their kids to excellent schools. I think that this becussion is good schools and schools that are struggling and have challenges. He mentioned book Or T. Washington. I worked up at school on great schools that unfortunately shout out to all of the educators at book Or T. Washington High School. But that's one of the lords performing high schools in the city of Atlanta right now. So are we supposed to send our kids to Booker T.
Washington because Martin Luther King went there over fifty years ago? Wow? No, And I'm glad you said that. The whole thing with public school and private schools, and I guess in different areas is different in different ways. But here in New York City. Growing up public schools, they were overcrowded. There was forty to fifty kids per class. They didn't have the necessary tools. So you know, my parents middle class. They did what they had to do to put me
in a better school, in a better school district. And it depends on what schools we're talking about, too, because each school is different. Because I did go to public school at first, and my school was a great public school that helped me a lot from kindergarten in the sixth grade. But it depends. And that's what you're saying. Safety your business saying it's not about public or private, because you said to me yesterday, they just need to care.
They need to be better systems, period. And also too, you got to look at the private schools. Some private schools are good and some private schools are bad. Private schools are doing excellently for white children, but if you look at how those private schools are serving their black children, their girls. Are the girls doing as well in math as the boys, and so luckily women I can act give shouts to New York City. I taught in the South Bronx and New York City Public for five years.
In New York City is actually a district in America right now that's actually doing more to train their teachers than a lot of other places. They are a part of the Relay graduate program. I'm a a junk professor there. And they're actually really good public schools in New York. They're really excellent charter schools. You guys went to go visit the Uncommon High School. They're sending kids. Not only are they sending kids to college, their kids are also
persisting and graduating from college. You have amazing schools in Newton, Jersey, like North Star Academy, like my friends from Uncommon who have opened amazing schools. The number one elementary school in the entire state of New Jersey is a school of black and brown child in the New New Jersey North Star. Those children are outperforming their port children, and they're outperforming
their wealthier counterparts. Oh, I love the Uncommon schools. Is that is that the one I visited in Milwaukee and in New York? It wasn't Milwaukee, But I love them too, by the way, And we're all a part of a similar We're similar, right. Who is Milwaukee Principal Maggie Olsen? What kind of school is that? Yeah, that's a school that's very similar to Uncommon. It's Milwaukee College Prep. They use a lot of the relay practices as well. It's
one of the oldest charter schools in Milwaukee. And that's a dynamic school where the kids love coming to school every single day. Like the kids like they get the class and they get to learning. Is that public of private? Oh? That school is dope. Yeah, so Luther Principal Maggie Olson
and Milwaukee they dope. And just one last thing I want to say, because I did go to public school and then private school, it's also a cultural thing because I know for me going to private school, those teachers that I had there and a lot of the students, there was nothing, nothing, no attention paid to anything that has to do with our cultural differences. I definitely felt like an outcast when I went to school there. So that was just the issue that I had. It wasn't
necessarily just about the education. It was also about what are these kids doing about anything cultural? And it was something that has been I went to Parley Prepper. It's been in the news a lot lately just for those reasons. By saying there's been decades of them having that issue and they've never addressed it until now. And can I
tell you I agree completely. I went to private, I went to private monastory school, kindergarten through sixth grade, monastories about the answer and by thinking about the kids in Covington, right, everybody wanted to talk to the little boy named saman But like, what about the little black boys walking with kids with maga hats on and getting springs at by black people. We should have been talking to that kid.
Thank you for calling in Michelle's. Appreciate them, Tell them, give them the website for regeneration schools oh Regeneration Schools dot org. We are looking for middle school principals and teachers and I'll be out there too. So I'm looking forward today. I can't wait. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Day all right now that we got them all to the story guys, um stories, I just think you know it's all about your options, and you know what I mean, and you got to do us right for your kids.
You know what I'm saying. If you think that a public school is better for your kids, cool, If you think of the private school is better for your kids, cool. I just think it's all about doing the research. And I agree with you know, Principal Shells Station. I don't know why I calling a principle because he's not the pricipal, he's CEO, But I agree with her. You know what I'm saying. It's just not about the schools, It's about the systems. Find the best system for your child. Absolutely,
all right, we got rumors all the way. Yes, let's talk about the real Monique went on there and things got awkward. We'll tell you about it, all right, we'll get into that next. Keeping locked this to breakfast club. Good morning, Let's get to the rumors. Breaking news it's about, is the rumor report Angela found the breakfast club? Well, here's your breaking news. Another Democrat has answered the right
the race for the White House now. He made his initial announcement on, of course, today, which is the first day of Black History Month. Here is what Corey Booker
posted in his video message. I believe that we can build a country where no one is forgotten, no one is left behind, where parents can put food on the table, where there are good paying jobs with good benefits in every name good, Where our criminal justice system keeps us safe instead of shuffling more children into cages and coffins where we see the faces of our leaders on television and feel pride not shame. I'm Corey Booker and I'm running for president of the United States of America. Well,
another person to choose from. It seems like the backlash of Donald Trump being president is everybody's like, we need to save this country. So what do you guys think about Corey Booker. I'm not excited. We need to hear more. Yeah, I don't really know. I mean, when Corey Booker was the mayor of Nork, there was a lot of things that I know a lot of people are upset about. I don't think he ever addressed. I really don't know much of his policies or where he stands on things.
So I would like, I gotta hittre more know what the plan is. That's I think we all knew he was going to announce that he was running because everybody kept talking about it. So today was the day that he made that announcement. I don't have an opinion on it either way. I'm not excited. I'm not angry about it. I'm just like, Okay, it's another another another person throwing they happen to ring. All right, Well, Monique has joined the cast. She's she's running the president doing the ladies
from the reel. She was a guest on the reel and they had to address some real things. Now here's the original comments that Adrian Bilin made. It had Monique upset. I have an issue with people thinking that every time someone is loud or boisterous or saying something negative, that that's them keeping it real. Why does it always have to be that just because you all over the place and being loud and making a lot of noise, that
that's the truth and that's real. She didn't lie, all right, Well, Monique did not like those comments, and at the time when it happened, she went on social media and said that she's just young, she's a child, so you know she can't be her well on the show. Here's how the two of them discussed it some time ago. When I was watching the show and you said when I did the piece of the Apollo, and you said, just because you're loud doesn't make you right. Yeah, And everybody said,
moniqu you're gonna get Adrian. You're gonna because she grew shade, And I said, listen, Adrian is a baby, and she's not had enough life experience to understand the statement that she's making. I understand it. That's why I couldn't grow Shade God bless more Nique drop on a clique. Well, much like dj MB and Killer Mike. The two of them talked about how they can disagree but still have a grown up conversation, like when that's sweet me. I read that. I was like, I get that her experience
is nothing like I'm sure what my experience has been. Well, what I love about that is that it starts a conversation. And I don't think you should roll over and just let anybody do anything they want. And I think what we have to get away from is this there's no beef. No, there's no spilling tea. What you grown so that it's simply of all this conversation. Yeah, that saw some honest conversation.
We just had that yesterday with killing That's right. M MV just wanted to respect and he just wanted you know, he just asked kill him. I to do something simple. Don't put it peters my mouth. I don't put it petis in yours. It's simple me and you have beef now you have. It's so simple. Don't put beef. Don't beef in my mouth. I won't put my beef and smoke with you now that we got problems all of it, okay, rumor report Angeley. You don't think I was a simple request,
dj mv as. I thought that was a simple record. Now me and you have be why everybody's so mad? And you want beef? You want this beef. Don't put your beef in my mouth. I won't put my beef in yours. Okay, all right, fair enough, fair enough. Aren't you glad you're not here? You see what's going on. It's gonna be a lot of beef putting the mouths in the line, all right. Ruined people's weekend, screaming don't put your beef in my mouth, and I won't put my be for yours in atlantic. Oh my goodness, were
you giving that? That sounds crazy? Is me? We're giving that donkey too bad? Donald Trump Junior, when you didn't come to the front of the congregation. We'd like to have a world with you're giving them all that beat for all right, we'll do that when we come back. Keep it locked. As to breakfast club, good morning you get un you are hum. I'm gonna fatten all that around your want this man to Doton blowers. Man they're waiting for Charlomagnets had to make a judgment who was
gonna be on the donkey of the day. They chose you the breakfast club bitches, the donkey of the day, that donkey of to day for Friday, February first, the first day Black history muff troup on a clues BOMs Black History mouffle even know Black history of every day around here? All right? It goes to one of the sons of Satan, Donald Trump Junior. Now, I have never claimed to be the highest grade of weed in the dispensary.
I misspronounce a lot of words like but not limited to, straight, screed, strong, and homo side. Not to mention when I write, I have to use a dictionary and to source to find the spelling of a lot of words that may be simple to other people, like privilege, true story. I have two national best selling books, Black Privilege and Shook one respectively. And I called how spelling privilege for a few months because I kept typing p R I V E L ege,
which is wrong it's privilege. Okay. Worst part is when you spell something oh privilege, as in p R I v I l ege. Worst part is when you spell something wrong over and over you get mad at the red squiggly lined underneath it, like it's the computer's fault. No need, bro, You just don't know how to spell, and that's fine. But one thing I will never spell wrong is an acronym. See as levels to being stupid, and those amongst us who spell acronyms wrong are a
different level. It's stupid, but somehow, some way, Donald Trump Junior found a way to do it. Let's go to MS and per Say News for the report police, Donald Trump Junior is getting monckt on Twitter for a reference to Saturday Night Live. Instead of writing the letters S n L, he wrote this, It's almost like a funny version of an S and L skit. The tweet was in response to another post about Democrats platform for twenty
twenty that was courtesy of S m ampersand News. Okay, s n L. As in the letter S, the letter N, and the letter L, Donald Trump Junior put the letter S, the symbol the ampersand and the letter L. So he put s ampersand l am I pronouncing ampersand right before I continue, Okay, like A and E, like Barnes and Noble, Batman and Robin Fast and Furious. Those are all ampersands. They used the symbol. Okay, but that's not how Saturday
Saturday Night Live works. Okay. I need to access Donald Trump Junior's emails immediately, not to see if it was collusion with Russia, but for comedic purposes only. Can you imagine him asking someone if they are attending the ampersand are a convention this year? Him typing to someone, thank you to ampersand r A for donating thirty million to
elect my father. I need to see me. I need to see emails about Donald Trump Junior complaining about the players kneeling during the national anthem and the amper saying fl. I really want to know if Donald Trump Junior can spell night. Okay, I want to know if he knows what knight means. Seriously, it's Saturday Night Live. It's only been on for forty four years. How can you not know this? From New York, the acronym is SNL. The
letter N stands for night. Okay, there's no reason the mistake that for an amper saying, ever, all right, Donald Trump Junior needs to be in a spelling be with nothing but an acronyms. Okay, I need acronyms with netting with an him. I need to see him spell out the Amber saying Basketball Association. I need to see him spell out Amber saying aernotics and space administration. I need
to see Donald Trump spell out the N word? Would you be offended if Donald Trump Junior was to tweet out with all you amber saying I gg as is shut the hell up? Would that offend you? Hey? You N word? Would that offend you? My name is Rashwan. Yeah, I'm just saying, what if he what if he said? Would you am per saying words please be quiet instead of N word? Hey, Donald Trump Junior, we were all
born ignorant, but one must work to remain stupid. Okay, Please let me give Donald Trump Junior the biggest he haw he haw he haw. He's stupid, mother, you dumb. I think I just gave white people a new way to spell out the N work. Alright, I didn't mean to. All right, well and per saying I g g A s all right, Well, you can just put the symbol and put words. You're stupids and per saying word. All right, well, thank you very much for that. Donkey to day. Now
it's Friday, so you know what that means. It's free. You look at me like that because you look like you up to no good? What does it look like? I'm good? Because you you beige? People can't y'all got terrible poker. You stop calling me beige man. Okay, we'll get darker and I'll stop. I can't, I can't, I can't. All right, Well, let's Friday. See you know what that means. It's freaky freaky freaky Friday. And today's freaky freaky freaky Friday question comes from our homie dream Dog. Okay, drop
drop one includes bombs for dream Dog. Damn it. Now, did you hear what dream Doll said? Let's play a clip of it right fast, eating my ass? Hey, that's right, Tori, you're out here trying to suck feed through socks. You're a different level of maniac, all right, and I need to know what other kind of maniacs out here in these screechs. Hey should have never mentioned dream Doll in
reference to his disc check against don qu all. Right, right, well, let's open up the phone lines eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. What are we asking our listeners? Have you all trying to suck feet through socks? I've never heard of such levels of madness. Someone tweeted that that happened to them before. Let me find that tweet eight on drip five eight five one oh five one, like, why would you suck feet through socks? Have you ever
sucked feet through socks? That's honestly like a woman, you know, giving fallacio while the guys wearing a condom, which I know a lot of women do. That is a lot of people do that because it's safe sex. I don't need to have saved for If there's a pooring category for that, you can still catch the s There's no need to have saved for all se you should have saved. Sorry, kids, especially everybody out there, How do you have saved for all sex? Because God can't have saved for all sex?
Because you can, Wow, you can use a dental damn. You never heard of a damn damn not building, No damn dental damn. It's it's like a square piece of rubber that you you make it, you know, you pull it and then yeah, you like make it, you know, you stretch it out and then you put it over your tongue and then you do it through the dam. That's like just doing it through isn't like just doing do panties. And at the same thing, it's like even
burger through the rapper eat burger through no rapple. It's safe. Did you compare the vaginan burger? No, it's not the fur burger? Are you sweating fur burgers? We go to bear Burger over here? Oh my god, burger, yes, burger d all right, but you were that's what you like. All right. I don't know what's going on here. Eight hundred and five eight five one oh five one. Do you suck toes through socks? That's a Canadian thing? Okay, they do have this. They do have importants about this.
What fur burgas? No sucking feet and toes and socks. All right, we'll talk about it when we come back. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy we are the Breakfast Club. Now if you missed it this Friday, so you know what that means it's freaky freaky freaky Friday. And the freaky freaky freaky Friday question is have you ever sucked toes through socks? Now? I have never tell you? Now tell them, tell him who this came from. This came
from dream Dog. Yeah, we'll play the club. Let's play a clip of it eating my ass. Dream dollsaid Tory Lands tried to suck her feet through our socks. Now, I'm very up freaking with my wife in the bed air. We've done a bunch of things, but I've never sucked toes through socks. Well, you got something new to try this weekend? That birthday, right, isn't today her birthday today? It's a birthday. If you try it, if she wanted it,
I would do it. I mean the most coach I would say from that is you ever your wife has a let's say, her dog on her panties on you ever? Like definitely bite does okay? No, no, no, I definitely do that. I bite that. I bite that and try to pull them down my teeth. There you go do that. Sometimes you gotta blow on it. The hot that you're hot. They love it. I don't know what Now you just lost me like you blow, you just blow warm air into her own before you guys have digressed so much.
But do you guys suck toes? No? Yeah, I sucked my wife's so yeah, say no to before I even asked after you mean through socks. No, you've sucked toes. So it's kind of similar to what you're describing now, accept this through the sock. It's just kind of like your um, it's like a feet panties. See. I don't knock anyone for what they are into sexually, but I see absolutely no reason to be sucking feet through socks.
Like what's the point? You have to be a different level of maniac, a different level of psychotics to set subfeet through socks. And yeek, you said it's like feet panties. Ain't no panties that material because if the panties were the same materialist socks, I wouldn't put my mouth on those easy. I have some very nice socks. You're inviting him, a fishnet type of socks, you know, things like that.
But the stockings. You're a woman. On Exhams dot com they have a whole shoe sock smelling and sucking toes and feet in socks, porn and all of that. There's a video young girls licks sniff suck feet in socks. What the hell? All right? E freaky lem? What's up now? You said you did it before? Yeah? I didn't. Did it a couple of talks for what drug was you on?
We ain't gonna talk about that. But you know, you know the after taste, So socks can be a little bad, especially if you don't sweating a lot, which you know. I have experience with some Nike socks, you know, and you know the things whole sweat, you put your you put your whole mouth on some Nike socks, some sweaty socks. Yeah, yeah, I was in the moment. Were you guys in gym class together? Yeah, in the locker room. Yeah, he's it's crazy how I'm judging you. But I eat ass. Oh
oh buddy, he said, the whole whole, buddy. And I ain't never put my mouth for no but what you put it out for a dirty side. I don't judge me. I know you're about to judge me. Hello, who's this? It's good Man this chief and Charlotte North Carolina. Key, what's up, bro? We're talking about have you ever sucked toes through socks. Now, I didn't definitely stuck the couple toes through sods, man, Why why not just get right to the toes? Man, I don't know why I was
doing it. Man, I was in that mood, you know, doing I was doing. You know, I just sucked a couple of toes through socks, Charlotte, Man, So I mean I know you didn't suck a couple of toes through I never sucked those. I never sucked no throws two socks. I don't understand the point. I would rather just suck the toes. That's like a girl giving you filatio with a condom. All that does sound kind of crazy. Rebecca, Hello, now you're you're a professional foot fetish model. What is
a foot fetish model? You know it? Um? Basically, there is um a huge, a huge love of feet out there. Um. It's just kind of appreciating and admiring the beauty of what feet have to offer. UM kind of kind in like a sense of the way. You know, soogs go sniffing others to understand pheromones and kind of associate themselves with who made that. Other dogs kind of might be humans to dogs. No, It's not humans to dogs. It's the animalistic, primal nature of being attracted to someone sent
through pheromones. Wow, so you be so people suck to sock because the socks smells like the woman. U. Yeah, pretty much. I've known smellie sweaty socks. And to be honest with you, a lot of people in my real life, you know, kind of shunned me for having smelly feet. It's made a lot of you know, dating uncomfortable. I'm not an ugly woman. I'm very attractive. Yes, yeah I have.
I have smelly feet, but beautiful feet also. And when I've made the decision to join the foot fetish community, you know, it was just an overwhelming form of love and appreciation and acceptance for who I truly am. So yes, it may be kind of freaky to some, but to those who are into it, it honestly is a whole lot of fun and a fantastic experience. Do you get do you get foot jabs and holiday? Oh god, no, no, no, no, no, no, I don't. I don't do that. I'm not in that sport.
I'm not a porn star. More so, Yeah, it's more song along the lines of kind of like BDSM the whole power play. You know, those who are in high powerful position, they worship your feet with that control and have something else. Oh so you kick them in and stuff like that. I have done that before. Yes, that's your question. How do you wash your whole body but keep your feet stay? So you wash every day with
your feet? You know? If that's my secret? The feet just have an older a certain process that I go through to maintain the odor, but yet keep That's nasty. God bless you. I'm not judging, but you just gave me another reason. It never sucked no feet through no socks. It's that disgusting, And like, how do you wash your body but keep your feet stinky? All you do to suck fee through socks? I can imagine what you guys would do, the lamb chop to sock puppet. Oh my goodness.
All right, eight hundred and five eight five one O five one is freaky freaky freaky Friday. Have you ever sucked toes through sides? Call us now, it's the Breakfast Club. God morning, it's DJ Envy, Angela Yee Charlomat and the guy we are the Breakfast Club. Naphew just joined us is Friday, so you know what that means. It's freaky, freaky, freaky Friday. And we're asking have you ever sucked toes
through socks? Now? That comes from dream Doll the Rapper, And let's see what she had to say when she was doing a dis record against Tory Lanes, eating my ass to my sock. You know, man, I said that you have to be a different level of maniac, a different level of psychotic to sub fee through socks. And after hearing these first set of calls, I am convinced that Tory Lanes is a different level of savage. He is a savage. I don't think y'all want lyrical smoke
with a man like that. All right, all right, let's go to the phone lines eight hundred five eight five, one oh five one. We have Ryan on the line. Ryan, Good morning, Hey Ryan, you ever sucked toes tu socks? Bro? Hell? No, I would never stuck toe in general, So why the hell would I suck it through a sock. It's more sense to do it through a sack. Then, yeah, you're buggling. If you would never suck a toll, now, you ain't never suck your lady's feet. I love my girl. I'll
be honest with you, but I would never suck her toe. Man, get on your knees and kiss your women's feet sometime. Bro, trying with you, Dominique, you know what's going on? What's up? Bro? You ever sucked toes tu socks? Oh? Hell yeah? I suck a toe through a sock. Why are you so excited? Bro? Relax? I don't know. I'm just excited, my bad. You know, sometimes you just gotta even suck it through it. Oh my gosh, that has nothing to do. You know, you
can't wait to unwrap that gime. You Sometimes you just go hungry. You gotta bite that burger through the rapper. All right, guys, all right, Oh my goodness, man, I love our listen. Hello, who's this? They THEO? Man? You ever sucked toes through socks? Bro? I ain't never said no toes, no stocks. That's mask you man. You got them through like when they fresh out the shower. You know what I'm saying. But if it's clean socks, fresh out the dryer, clean socks, it still don't matter. Man.
It's like lint all in your mouth. You know what. They never know what them socks been through sometimes did basically clean. You know what I'm saying, And not to mention washing and dry is each socks, socks go missing for days, so you're just gonna finally put your mouth on a sock that was missing for days? Hello, who's this they? Ebonye? You ever sucked toes through socks? H No, I haven't, but I've had it done to me and it feels good. Okay, so she likes it, so maybe
y'll should try to own your lady. Yeah, it's it's like a turn on. It's like a spot. But no that and they don't mean, you know, just because he do that that he wears it's safty. I hope y'all catch the fluid with the wet ass sucks y'all walking around. And if he had to do, ain't no stock, saint nothing, as long as they cleaner, you know, I ain't ain't nothing. I think that. I think I think the agens is
probably cleaning in socks. I'm gonna be honest with you, grub, but he's not gonna do socks if they like some dirty socks or something, unless she's just like a nasty like that. But some guys like the whole Yeah, you know what I'm saying, like, you're not gonna do it that nasty, but that he can do that, Yo, But think about all this stuff you gotta do to clean your socks. You gotta put him in the washer, and you gotta put the urgent in that you do. You
do wash your ass, not with detergent. You scrub with soft you're not no fabric softeners, no downy and you show some people put baby patting it. It's a different cleans it's a different cleaner. Everybody's do different things to clean itself. But it's not nasty, it's not weird. You will be gonna try. Your girl might like you, all right, thank you mama, so y, I bet you gonna try. So that's not really a distance dream dog. You gotta take points off your dis record because that wasn't really
a dis because people like it. People like it, And the moral of the story to me is men of dogs and v and they liked threesomes with another dude. What wasn't the song too? Actually, I think I thought about that line too. I think Tory would that boy asking asking her if they him and his boy could run a train on drink. That's not what she said. I can understand why she would think that was weird either way, but still no, she said a threesome. Damn. All right, we got rumors on the way. Yes, and
Meek Mill got pulled over? Is this bad news? But tell you what happened? All right, we'll get into that next. It's the breakfast Club Corning. This is the public service, announced me from the breakfast club and Bernie Man it's cold and the breakfast Club morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela, Ye, Charlomagne the guy. We all the breakfast club. Let's get to the rumors. Let's talk Meek mil. Listen this just ohla gosh got the rumor report. Guys with Angela the
breakfast club. Yes, Meek Mill, he was in Jamaica and he got pulled over. He was partying in Kingston, having a good time and then he ended up getting pulled over. But it doesn't and badly for him. Here's what happened up. Y'all pulled us over, and I said, y'll want to chyr herd. That's scared of scared up. Y'all gonna pull us over and say we thought we get locked up? Just give us a police I thought out of Kingstreet,
pull goes over. We thought we was getting in trouble. Now, I wonder how that works, right, because when you're on probation, like they said, you can't even really be in contact with police for being at the police pulled him over and wanted to take a picture like that's on them, right. Yeah, he should be good. Yeah he's fine. That's not going
to be an issue, hopefully, all right now, Monique. According to the Jasmine Brand, they have an exclusive which says that she got into a confrontation with Steve Harvey on the on the set of his daytime talk show. Steve. According to sources, he was telling her that she needed to apologize to Whoopie Gober for some comments that she
made about Whoopie Gober. You guys, remember what she said, sort of not really well, she said some things about Whoopee Tyler Perry, and Steve Harvey was like, you need to apologize for those comments. She referred to Whoopee as the help okay, which is not nice. And I guess things got a little bit more turned up from there and it might have gotten physical. Steve in the face, and he said that if she hit him, her husband would have to come out and square off. That's true,
that's very gentlemanly. But for real, woman, slap you. You stand up and be like, we are your husband at I'm about who your husband asked. So she slapped him allegedly enough threatened to hit him in the face. Now, the cameras were rolling, So we don't know if that's going to end up airing because that interview hasn't come out yet, But I guess we'll see if they're gonna use it or not. I would think not. That don't
sound like she loved us for real? All right. Now, Jamaine Jackson has addressed that Michael Jackson documentary that's out Leaving Neverland, which is talking about Michael Jackson and the slumber parties he's had with kids and all kinds of accusations. Well, he said, let me interject, these were slumber parties. And what they didn't tell you was they were little girls there, even with their parents, their uncles, and it was sitting
down watching movies during the time. I believe he was instructed by one of his legal team to do that, and that's why everybody is coming forward now. I will say this, even when that settlement happened. The father killed himself because of guilt, and then the kids said Michael never touched him. So that was about the two thousand and five child molestation trial. I think that documentary Leaving Neverland is so unethical. I can't believe somebody would make
that documentary. I can't believe HBO would buy that documentary to eric, those two guys on that doc said under oath that Michael Jackson never touched him. Right, So, I don't understand how you know we can we can we can salute perjury like you're paying You're you're literally paying somebody that could committed perjury on the stand. Like so why why why shouldn't we believe anything that they say? All right, well, you want to hear some good news.
Soldier Boy he has signed a new deal with Warner Chapel Music, So congratulations to him. He post that. Here's what he said in his freestyle chance like Rockel Philler, Oh, I feel like oh with Margarets on the store. So yes. Shout out to my guy Ryan Press, who actually did that deal with him. I seen him in the picture. He hit me up right after we did the Soldier Boy interview and he said Yo, I'm going to sign him to Warner Chapel. What can we do drop one
of clues bombs for Soldier Boy. Let's not act like the Breakfast Club interview didn't change his life. All right, since since Soldier Boy, y'all here taking crazy right, you right, everybody else? You know, let's not act like the breakfast Club interview didn't change his life. We've brought you right. We say, don't let anybody, any other artists come up thinking the same thing's going to happen for them. Don't
try to pull a Soldier Boy. No. So he that's the thing that I'm glad you said that Soldier Boy was very organic and actually Soldier Boy had a foundation to stand on, because it's not like the things he was saying was so out of the realm of possibility. Yeah, Soldier Boy is the godfather to this whole new generation of you know, internet hip hop. Before there was SoundCloud rappers, there was Soldier Boy. Before they were screaming rappers, there
were Soldier Boy. So he laid the groundwork for that, all right. And last but not Lee, shout out to TI. He posted be clear these faces, along with the host of others that looked like us laid the foundation for the infrastructure, artistic ecosystem you now know as Atlanta. This our ish and we run this city. Don't get it effed up. We'll adjust the temperature to make it as hot or cold as we see fit. If we ain't with it, it ain't ish. Sincerely, King, And it's a
picture of him jeezy and ludicrous. It's absolutely right. I mean, you know, I would add Little John into that mix too, but I mean those are people from Atlanta who went from Atlanta to international fame. So you know, they definitely laid the ground for all of these new Atlanta artists to be international superstars. And by the way, they were all at the EA Sports Sports Bowl yesterday. Litt John was there as well. He did a DJ set also, so it was really popping for them. It was outcasting,
goody mob, Yes, definitely outcast and goody mon. Ye. Those guys definitely took everything to another level. Yes, they did, TI and g Z and the Ludus. All right, Well, it is Super Bowl weekend out here in Atlanta. I'm in Atlanta and he's on his way here now, so we'll keep you guys updated on social media. I'm sure absolutely all right, Well, ast your room report. Shout out to my wife again. Today is her birthday, so we're gonna be celebrating all weekend in Atlanta. And my wife
is Jamaican. I know a lot of you don't Maybe no, maybe don't. She Jamaican and Puerto Rican so and Chinese. So she loved Jamaica music. So I'm gonna play some West any music for the mix this morning. All right, let me know your some dance out tune. So let me know what your favorite tune you want to y'all calling me up right now? And what's the number five? At five one one five one tree? I just want
like the same tree. How do you think the Jamaica community would feel about what you said yesterday during to Kill the Mike interview? Hit it drum, don't put it penis my mouth? I don't put penis in yours? Would what word would they use to subscribe what they just heard? I'm not playing with you, revote, We'll see you Monday. Everybody else that mixes up next to the Breakfast Club in the morning tune and everybody is DJ Envy Angela
Yee Sholamine, the guy we are the breakfast club. We have a special guest in the building, and I'm not going to mess up your name, young lady. How do you pronounce your name? Kilnda? Keilanda M Yes, okay. I pray for hip hop. Yes, indeed, now she prays for hip hop. Tell people what did that mean, Kei, Londa. That means that I pray for the hip hop community. Leaving for you guys radio station, anybody within the hip
hop community. I pray that God would just touch your hearts and that whatever you're going through, that he would help you through it. Let me tell you how I met Kilinda. I was having lunch with angel Ari one day and I just walked out of the place we were eating that and Kilana just ran upon me. I was like, hey, Charlemagne, can I pray for you? I don't turn down no prayer, my absolutely no I needed. So we prayed. She we held hands and we prayed
in the middle of the street. Then I saw her again coming out of Hunting Fish Club one night with her mom and she was like, Charlemagne had a little contents. You want to pray? Of course, why wouldn't I want to get this prayer? So when did you when did you realize God was using you? U? It was back
in twenty eleven. I was at a prayer meeting at my church and the speaker at Lisakammy she spoke about Amy Winehouse and that year Amy Winehouse had died, and so it was something that really gripped me because she spoke about her, and for the first time in like a while, I was able to see her just as a human and now like because sometimes we see people like the artists, but like I saw her as a human and I realized I never took the opportunity to pray for her, and like all the things that I saw,
she was going through right. And so then God started to immediately like start to speak to me about hip hop, like why aren't you praying for them? And he starts to put a bunch of different faces before me, and I was like, all right, God, let's do this. And I said, God, how do you want to do that? How do you want to how do you want me to do this? How you want me to pray? And I said, because this very significant things is her three days,
seven days, forty days? Like what is it? And he told me, like forty knights, I want you spent forty nights praying for hip hop. So January and twenty and twelve, I spent forty nights praying and fasting for the hip hop community. And since then, I've just kept going like praying. Really, what are your biggest concerns for the hip hop community right now? My biggest concerns is just when kind of
the content of the music is heading. And sometimes like, because I work with kids as well, I'm a teacher, I teach junior high kids, and I see a lot of the impact that they had from hip hop. They don't come out of class speaking about their last history class or science. They come out speaking about, yo, did you hear that song? And so just and I see how they're so impacted by the content and the images that they see that they even like put it on
and start behaving in a manner. And I'm like, I want them to be impacted about good hip hop as well, because I don't feel like all hip hop is bad, but I feel like there some adjustments can be made in some areas. Some of the people he ran into that you pray for, I've run into Nellie Jermaine dupri designer, Igeazalea Russell simmons Us in the elevator. It was so rent. Every time a ransom has been like super random. I don't like see where they are, nah, Like that's you
know it, because it was like so random. Did you pray for Kanye West? And he was going through the stuff? I did? And we actually, especially like when I when things started first initially coming up about Kanye. I even have it on a page pray for Kanye. I took a day I had to prayer call he was praying for him. Lord, I pray that you would touch their hearts. God. I pray that you would be able to grip their minds and show them how much you love them. God, beyond the beats, beyond the lyrics. You see them as the human that they are. You see them as a soul. You don't see their
accolades or God, you don't see any of those things. God. You see them as somebody that you love and want to help through every single issue that they're going through. Lord. And I just pray that the same way you've done it for me. And You're not a respective of persons

God. I pray that they will be able to walk in
the fullness of it. Lord, that they wouldn't settle God, to be bound by the things that they're going through, but that you would lift up their hearts or God, encourage their very soul or God and let them know today that there was a hope that lives in Jesus or God, and that you are willing to meet them. And you're not asking them to be perfect. You're not asking them to try and come and in the best in any way, or God. You're asking them to come
as they are. God. So even in this moment, Lord, I pray that you would begin to let them know Lord, just how much they mean to you. Lord.
