Yeah, they should lower to eighteen. And they shall allow kids to go to high school right to the league. Because now, look at this kids, Zion, Zion

as he's going. He's going to be the number one pick. But let's say he's injured and can't play ever again, Like, that's not fair, that's not right. He should be able to go straight from from my high school straight to the league, just like Kobe Bryant did back then, just like Lebron did. Design should be the same way. And

on with Jesse Smallett. He's been charged with a felony disorderly conduct for filing a false police report. Now, the more information that we have is that the brothers Ola and Abele Alsundiro, they said that they actually did this because Jesse asked them too, and he paid them thirty five hundred dollars. The check was actually a backdated check for like January twenty third, and he said it was for training sessions, so that's what was in the memo

for that. They do have text messages between Jesse and the brothers where he was just detailing things like on January twenty fifth, the first text messages, might need your help on the low. You're around to meet up and talk face to face. Then they met again on January twenty seventh, where they drove around Chicago to scout locations, and cops are saying that Jesse told them to leave their cell phones and pointed out their surveillance camera near

his residence that he believes would record the incident. Now, the police superintendent in Chicago, Eddie Johnson, had a press conference and he had this to say about the whole Jesse Smollett situation and why Jesse would do such a thing. Smolette attempted to gain attention by sending a false letter that relied on racial, homophobic, and political language. When that didn't work, Smolette pay thirty five hundred dollars to stage this attack and drag Chicago's reputation through the mud in

the process. And why this stunt was orchestrated by Smolette because he was dissatisfied with his salary. Who all right. Now, they are saying that the police found it very weird from the beginning because Jesse kept that rope around his neck for forty two minutes after the attack, and they were also suspicious when he took them to the scene and he showed them the camera that he said recorded the incident, but that camera was actually pointed in the

wrong direction. Now, Jesse did tell the police during his arrest, where his bill was set at a hundred thousand dollars, he had to post ten thousand to get out that he has a drug problem that he's never been treated for. Oh here, boy, is the way out? Is the way out good? This could at some point become relevant later on in that case because he also, according to reports, the bought ecstasy from one of the brothers from Abel, So if you were convicted, a drug issue could be

a mitigating factor that he gets his sentence reduced. And they also said that the wounds that he had were most likely self inflicted, so he beat himself up allegedly. The problem is is okay, now it's over, So why don't you just come out and be like, look, I made a stupid mistake. I was, you know, trying to boost my profile. I was trying to do it for the cause. And this is what I did. I apologize

and I accepted whatever I'm gonna get. Cheating boyfriend, and no matter what, you can catch him in the acting, he's still gonna lie. He's let to go with I see him. He has returned to Empire as soon as he bonded out to film, and he's begging his family to believe that he's innocent Empire and to continue supporting him. He's still saying that he's innocent. What do you mean he was a mayor. Yeah, he was practicing medicine without a license. So he was a mayor. And just what was he doing at his crime?

Was he a guy of colleges? Was? I don't know what kind of doctor or what type of medicine he was practicing, but I didn't finish the story. Okay, sorry, all right, So the SWAT team actually came to his home to arrest him, and guess what he did? Fire at the swat team when they came. He fired two shots at the officers before he got arrested. And he's dead. And he's not dead. No, he's not dead. So the sixty eight year old mayor surrendered to authorities and now he is facing attempted murder and practicing medicine without a license charge. I just don't know if I

He's very supportive. He loves me.

The problem is going through his phone, I found the grinder app. When I found the app, he said he just wanted to see what it was, so I decided to create a profile and send him pictures. When I sent him pictures of other men, he said I loved too masculine. So I decided to use a transsexual that I found online. And after that he started going back and forth with me. I really didn't know what I was doing. He figured out it was me, block me

and deleted it again. Going through his phone some more, I found some pictures of him having sex with another man. You couldn't see his face. The pictures with very grainy and poor quality, which leads me to believe that they are from an older phone. I also found a picture with one of my toys is But I'm so con cleared by this. But I don't know what to do. We are both in our forties. I don't want to raise five kids alone, the kids to dorm and I love him and we have to go to the Hampton

Did he tell you or what? No? No, um, he was messing around with women at first, and um, when I was supporting him, I was working and he was cheating on me with women. Um, when I lost my job, I was married. I was married to him, we had a kid. I had lost my job. They had they had moved our company, and I had came home one day and they had told me, Um, they had laid us off. And he looked at me in the middle of the night and he said, you're gonna have to go out and make money. Whoa like Yeah? And I

looked at him and I'm I'm a young kid. And I said, how do you what was the solution? Yeah? Meanwhile he's laying there not working. Yeah, And I him and I was about twenty one. And I looked at him. And I had a year and a half old daughter, or about not a year and a half. She was about three months old. It's about anywhere from three to six months old. And I looked at him and I said, how do you expect me to make money in the middle of the night. So how did you find out

he was gay? I got tired of going out in the middle of the night with this prosecute. Who was sharing her money with me? Oh? So you did become a process. You became a pros no no, no, no, no no no. I drove her around and she split what she made. Yeah, that's basically I can't believe that this man, Beckham, you know what could have happened to you?

How did you find out he was gay? I went home in the middle of the night and I told him because he was very abusive and I didn't care about that time what he would do to me, and I told him, I said, I'm tired of doing this. She said she's telling stories that she's never told, and she said they're not even some from my perspective, they're from the perspective of two people that I'm about to bring into the world into light. They actually had that on the plane. It wasn't on the last flight I was on, but you

could watch it two on de Man on flights. Yea, everything I see on the plane I watched Bohemian Rhapsody twice already. I love that movie, all right, So make sure you guys get ready for that. She's reached out to the whole family. They're really not messing with her right now. Thing is a one time thing. We trying to throw that on we the guy. We agree all one issue and listen that that was the cookies. The cookies was he said some good stuff on criminal justice. The dog poop was. He was attacking the immigrants, right. And here's the thing, as black people, we could never get so excited about our one issue that we throw

our brown since with the brothers under the bus. So I didn't come out there. Look I was. There was tears in my eyes. When Trump pointed out miss Alice Johnson. He pointed out black people who had been formally incarcerated in the gallery mentioned for the first time and at presidential speech it took a lot of credit for that though, he took a lot of credit for credit. So just saying in the moment when that was happening, I had tears in my eyes because when he said, welcome home

to that brother, I hope America's listening. We should welcome home our sisters and brothers. Then he turned right around the next I don't mean the next five minutes. I don't even mean the next one minute, the next second, and then starts attacking all the immigrants like they're committing all the crimes, when the immigrants have a lower crime rate than the rest of US. Undocumented immigrants have a lower crime rate than white people, and he's going to

attack them. And that's why I said, I had all my happy comments form up, go away, No, we're not going out like that. And so I said it was cookies, which I wanted to hear, but it was also dog poop. And I get backlash. Yeah, I got backlash, man, Yeah, I get backlash because I tell the truth. I say stuff that pisses off liberals, and they jump on me one week. Next week, the Republicans jump on me. I said the election was a white lash against a black president.

The Republicans got all mad at me when I give When I give Trump credit, the liberals get mad at me. But you know what, our people are not liberals, progressive, Democrats, Republicans. Our people are oppressed, okay, And when you have oppressed people, it's only one thing that will set us free, and that's the truth. You gotta be willing to tell the truth, whether folks like it or not. When Trump is wrong, which is nine percent of the time, I kick his butt.

But when he's right on our issue, I'm gonna give miss credit. And we have to be willing to do that. Otherwise, you know, we're a part of the problem. You know, people want to want to get political and calculate based on him. Is just gonna help the Democrats? Is it gonna help black people? Or is it gonna help poor people? Gonna help brown people? That I'm for it. I'll fight anybody and I'll work with anybody to help our people. The reason I ask because he's such a petty president.

And Kanye says, you know, him wearing the hat is what caused Alas Johnson to get out of prison. So I feel like, do you ever feel like you gotta kiss ass? Listen? I feel like I have to give him credit worth to um? Was anybody? Um? But I think I think if you look at my record. Um, and I've said it before. There's nobody tougher on Trump when he's wrong, and there's nobody, there's no liberal more willing to give him credit when he's right. And that's

the basis of our relationship. And does he like it when I'm on TV saying that stuff? He doesn't like it? If you make sure that I know he doesn't like it. Yeah, you make sure I make sure he knows that if he wants me to say good stuff, do good stuff. He wants me to stop saying bad stuff, stop doing bad stuff. And but I have a relationship, so y'all speak, Yeah, I have a relationship. How often do y'all y'all talk? Not not very often, but often enough when it matters.

The thing is, some people say I'm so radical, I would never talk to Trump. How do you get to be radical based on what you won't do? When? When did that become the standards? Like, I've never heard that before. No, you I'm so radical. I will if it's going to do something to help our people. I want to ask you, man, you know, because you're always talking about everything else, how will you? How was Van Joe Jones Okay, I had a rough year last year. Yeah, I remember the story

getting the divorce. I got divorced, my mother died. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, um, you know, God is good. It's like I got a lot of positive things. I had my first TV show, The Van Jones Show, was like a real thing on CNN. I have another show coming out this year called The Redemption, eight part docuseries on criminal justice on CNN. What Your Wife was it? The fact that y'all grew apart because you you know, talking about all the things that you do, you work so hard. That got to be hard for

your spouse. You know. I wouldn't marry me, I'll tell you that. Um, but you know we're still best friends. I mean it's crazy, like I'm know. You know, Jenna I have We've been best friends for twenty years. Um, and you know she was with me when I was broke, uh, living in a crappy condo with two two cats, no money, student loans in default and paid my taxes for four years.

You know what I mean. To being a best selling author and working in the White House, then leaving the White House under fire and having to start all over again, and so that friendship is so strong, and our parenting is so strong. But you know, sometimes the fizz just

goes out to soda on the romantic part. And so then the question is you just burn the whole thing down because that part doesn't work, or can you refigure it where you can keep the friendship, keep the parenting, and you know, move on in other parts of life. That's so hard, but our friendship is so strong and our kids are so important to us. We had to figure it out. And then because I'm on TV, immediately

it's all over the news. We hadn't even really talked to her parents about it, and so now it's you know, it's like, come on TMZ, like I'm not that dad, I'm famous that it's got to be a front page news store. People give you flat, but that too, it's like, oh my god, Man Jones married to a white woman. Yeah, hello, listen.

People give you flat about all kinds of stuff. But for me, you know, she's a mom with my kids, and she was there when I had nothing and when why I lost everything, and so you know, our relationships, like you know, you could do some kind of paperback chest on it if you want to, but I hope everybody in their life has somebody like Jim, like a ride or die hardcore no matter what. Um, and I'm proud that we've been able to get through it. But

last year was tough. And then I'm getting called Uncle Tom and a coon for trying to get black people out of prison. I said, you mean, so you mean the people who are on TV who are not trying to get black people out of prison are good, They're cool, they're cool. But but the one dude who's on TV who's trying to get black people out of prison on the coon? Yeah, that was That was Last year was tough. Do you take some time for yourself? I take time for myself, um on planes. Damn man, what worries me?

Eventually everything's gonna catch up to you at Woods, you know, and that could be at a time when we really need you. Well you know what I mean. Look, I worried about your self for me, we we really need you. Got to take time for yourself. Look, you given you sometime to grieve over your mom. Look. I wish I could stit up here and lie. You know my problems. I can never I can never lie. Well, yeah, of course you know I'm I'm not gonna lie like I

haven't had a moment from last year. My mom passed away in November and December, we had to pass this Dad Gun bill, and then as soon as we passed the bill, then the Reform Alliance had to get launched. So look, I'm just gonna be very honest, like, there are seasons in your life where things are out of balance, and I'm in that season where it's a lot of work, it's a lot of trying to help. This season can't

last forever. I wanta be in a cemetery somewhere, so I know that there's got to be another season where I do catch up to myself. But I just feel like right now the door is open for justice. I don't feel like it's time for me to take a vacation or it'd be much better to have a balanced life. But to me, I'm gonna tell you the truth, I don't think it's the season for that right now. Maybe the summer, you know, once the Reform Alliance is up and we passed some bills, I know some time it's

gonna be that season. But right now, our people have waited too. The better to be sad when it's cold man, ways to the summers. Tell you right now, don't do it.
