Breakfast Club every morning. Good. You guys are trending every you know, I dragged my ass out of that. I'm like, uh, what happened on the breakfast club today? Good morning Usa, yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo Angelie, is that what's going on? Charlemagne befrough the planet in Friday, Yes, and shout to Toronto the
six Yes. Indeed, what's happened out there in these streets Corona still rising. Mum, we're gonna make it though, Yeah, we're gonna make it. And let me shout out to Toronto. Toronto this weekend is doing this whole big thing on Flow ninety three five, Toronto's hip hop Shout to Charlie B.
They're doing DJ's United against Racism. So what they're trying to do is get people to donate and raise money for African American communities out in Toronto and out in Canada to make sure that we have healthcare, we have we have support, making sure to help with our rents and food and all that other stuff. So they're doing a huge uh, I guess I don't want to call it a DJ but a radio thrown and they got so many different DJs from me. I'm setting it off
at twelve noon today. Clue is gonna be DJ and Sucks One. Chubby Chubb just an incredible infamous DJ's around the country, Diamond Cuts us, so many different DJs. It's gonna be DJ and Quicksilver, Effeezy Nasty, so a lot of DJs are gonna be spinning. So it's for a good call. So shout out to everybody out in Toronto again. That's DJs United Against Racism. If you want more information, hit up the website Flow ninety three five dot com. I thought they already had free healthcare in Toronto, free
health services. That's a good question. Do you know what? I thought? So too, And I want you to know right now, Toronto, you have a bunch of American DJs playing on on your radio station in Canada, Flow Flow, You're gonna hear a lot of Drake. You're gonna hear a lot of Drake, a lot of Obo, because that's what they do. Okay, no, no, no, I mean because because of my mix. I'm not playing all Drake. I'm not playing all Drake. I'm not playing I say. I didn't say all Drake. I said a lot of drinking.
You're gonna hear a lot of drake. Okay. I play a Drake record one or two. But I play everything, I play holes, I play everything. I just this is just a mix. It's just music. It's not a Toronto mix. Just mark my words. When you hear all those American DJ's on the radio in Toronto today, you're gonna hear a lot of drake. At least, I'll say sixty five to seventy watch Mark war Words, but also too. Man. I'm in Challeston, South Carolina, man the eight fourty three
today and tomorrow from ten am to three pm. I'm doing a free COVID nineteen testing. It will be at the Trident Technical College, Thornley Campus today ten am to three pm and tomorrow ten am to three pm tried And Technical College, Thornley Campus. I'll be doing a free COVID nineteen testing and everybody that comes to get tested or get a free COVID nineteen supply kit that has a mask and gloves and hand sanitizing and all that
good stuff. Our government is not doing enough testing, so I guess we gotta take matters into our own hands. So I'll be having my own testing sites in Charleston, South Carolina today and tomorrow ten am to three pm at to try And Technical College, Thornley Campus. Okay, now let's do some good radio, why don't we? All Right? And you know what I just want to say, And I hate to tell you this. Yesterday I hate I don't even know what I'm setting myself up, but yesterday
was my longest ride ever. Right, Okay, you see handew it Now twenty hour and fifty eight minutes. I rode for did you but hurt at all? I was gonna say that my butt is kind of hurting right now. I'm not. I'm not gonna front yesterday. I did twenty two miles, one hundred hours and fifty eight minutes. If my butt is a little uncomfortable right now, I just wanted you should have applied. You should apply to butt Jael probably every five miles, just to make for a
smooth ride. It's not but jealous pants with gel in it. Man, It's like gel pants, whatever you call it. I'm not judging. Whatever you want to do. Whatever tomato tomato, okay, six half a dozen, six eggs, whatever, Okay, you know all right to describe it? All right. Well, when we come back with your front page news, we'll tell you about the Black Lives Matter mural in front of Trump. We'll tell you about it. I saidill move. It's the Breakfast
Local Morning, all right, morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the breakfast club. Let's getting some front page news, all right now. The weather. Let's talk the weather first on the East coast tropical storm Fay. It looks like it's passing through the east right now to hit on North Carolina. They say the winds or at least forty miles per hour to parts of the area,
mainly near the coast. They're saying there's wind mornings. Flashford watches have been issued from Delaware to Boston, so that includes New Yorker. In New Jersey. Now on the east coast, they're saying temperatures or forecaster to reach as a high as one hundred and twenty togrees under twenty degrees. They're saying they predict a high of twenty six in the Death Valley, California. Phoenix, Arizona expects the high of one hundred and seventeen on Sunday. They said Vegas is preparing
for a high of one hundred and thirteen. So the weather on the west coast is extremely warm. All right. New York City Black Lives Matter marches can continue despite large event. Band de Blasio says, yesterday they painted a huge mural in front of Donald Trump, in front of Trump Tower. I should say that's on Fifth Avenue, and of course Donald Trump mon He responded, said New York City is cutting police dollars by one billion dollars, and yet the mayor is gonna paint a big, expensive yellow
Black Lives Matter sign on Fifth Avenue. This will forever antagonize New York's finers who love New York and vividly remember the horrible Black Lives Matter chant. Pigs in a blanket from like Bacon make out. Great police who have been neutralized and scoring by a mayor who hates and disrespects them, won't let this symbol of hate be a fix to New York's greatest street. Spending this money fight in crime instead. And de Blasio actually spoke about we
are not denigrating anything, We are liberating. We are built this city, who built this nation. I never got the matter. There is no more American statements because there is no America without black America. You know, if they're cutting the budget by one billion dollars in New York City for in the police departments, where's that money going? Because you know, I don't want it to go to just the painting. I wanted to build a point, disenfranchise communities. You know,
that's what the funding the police is all about. And you know, paintings are great, murals are great symbolism. Symbolism is great, but we need equity, you know, we need legislation, change, we need reparations. We need something that makes us actually good and not something that makes us feel good. So you know that those Black Lives Matter paintings in the street, they're great, you know, they make people feel good. But when we're gonna get some actual, tangible change that really
makes us good. Right, And lastly, a Maryland man maybe the first successfully vasket of vaccinated against COVID nineteen already he was the first person to be injected in the trial at the University of Maryland, and they're saying early indication show the vaccine is working by stimulating the growth of antibodies at rates equal or high to those who have the illness. So so far, they haven't said yet he was taking was he taking anything else? Did he
have any pedia light? Did he have any sourstop juice around? Was he taking doctor SEBC mass pills? I need to know what other things was he putting in his body? Okay, not gonna just automatically tell me just out of the blue, all of a sudden, the vaccine is just working here in America, in Maryland. No that's what they said. He's the first person successfully so we'll see what happens. Of course, they still have tests. He's due to test, he's due to be uh attested in October determined if he does
have immunity again STA virus. So we got a long way to go. But this is just the first part of it. And was he sick? Like was he how sick? What did he have symptoms? Like? I have a lot of different questions here. Let me tell you site your sources by the way, so I can google this information. Uh, this is according to w j LA, and that is at that's the local University of Maryland COVID trial vaccine indicated. So all right, well that is your front page news.
Now get it off your chest. Eight hundred five eight five one on five one. If you need to vent, hit us up right now phone lines and wide open again the number eight hundred five eight five one on five one. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. Goodness you go, man, But my short think gonna be shown though I had basketball shorts over though. I love this.
I love hearing all of these men just being so open about the wearing biker shorts and their ass hurting. This is beautiful, man, This is progression. Thank you for calling brother. Hello. Who's this y'all? Good morning? Good morning? And the boys Fort and Irving calling at Jacksonville. What's up? Test man? Yo? First of all, I want to give a shout out to everybody in the hate for three area listening to me right now and for three what's happening?
What's happening? Yo? Good morning to Salomon the guard d day and envying Andrew Lage and absence. I don't know why she decided to take take time off and leave us with you guys, but I want to say, y'all, guys are absolutely abating job. I want to get off my chant for one. You got all these workers out here, essential workers. I'm a sensation of work. Eyes drop truck, uh waste something the exactions though they ain't paying us, they ain't paying us, and I'm mad. I got a
similar check before I got my income tax back. What's up with that? Man? And Salome made I'm mad talking about people exactly Villea, Florida crazy and you know, dang going well, people that talk like this, that you know from the chump, you know they're crazy, tool man man, Look yeah, it though, we ain't crazy crazy now you know what I'm saying. You just think we're crazy because our accident different. Y'all, boy, crazy, No I from I from.
I grew up down there now, so I know I've been in the chunk, so I know when I hit this and I hear a person talk like this, and they man, just run because they pull up. You know you ain't gotta run you and you ain't gotta run till you hear a gun click. When you hear that, that's when it's time to go. Now, boy, come out. I'm pretty sure you can find some crazy deal people and talking that did now I know that. But you don't get pushed in them off, Okay that ain't. Ain't.
Don't disrespect us like that, don't play with us like that. Now, don't get pushed. But they'll have a good morning. Many yes, sir, they flute to everybody in the eight four three two man. Like I told y'all earlier, I have a free COVID nineteen testing today from ten am to three pm at tried and Technical College, Thornley Campus. I'm actually I'm actually down here in the chuck, so I'm gonna pull up to that for a little bit too, all right, get it off your chest. Eight hundred five eight five one
oh five one. If you need to vent, you can hit this up at anytime. Now, we got the rumors coming up. We're gonna be talking pop smoke when we come back, so don't move. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club Morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Let's get to the rumors. Let's talk. Jay Z's filling the team. This is the Rumor Report with Angela Yee on the Breakfast Club. Now a shout out to our guy Hove.
It looks like Hove and Rock Nation has chosen a highlight black owned businesses throughout America by listing them in full page newspaper ads. Now. The ad has been created to bring attention to black owned businesses. Now the ads read power is in black voices, power is in black actions, power is in black wallets. Now the ads are gonna be taken out in Houston, San Francisco, Detroit, Washington, DC,
and several other states and cities. Among those listed were eaters, beauty shops, gyms, flower shops, clothing stores, all those shops, public plumbing companies, electrician companies, and more. Now this is pretty dope, man, very very dope. Yeah. Yeah, dropping the clues bonds of Hove and rock Nation because black business awareness is very essential because it's very hard to find black businesses. And I was gonna say the same thing, yep.
And I always want those recommendations, you know what I mean? Like I am that guy who when I'm about just paying my money, the first thing I think is, okay, is this person black? I don't care if it's a you know, a designer or a chef, it doesn't matter. A construction company. I need to know are they black one? Because I would rather give my money to my own people first. Yes. And like you said, the most difficult
thing is actually finding those businesses. So the fact that he's doing those newspaper ads are great Pop Smokes shooting. Now the suspects, they believed have been picked up yesterday. They believe the suspects are gang members linked to a killing at the Rose Bowl. Now the suspects arrested five have been identified as A Corey nineteen of Los Angeles, Jaquan twenty run of Los Angeles, KeAndre eighteen of Los Angeles, and the other two are juveniles. So they believe, of
course under the age of eighteen, that they're suspects. Were arrested Thursday and are being held on one million dollar bill. That's great, you know. Now his family, his mother, his grandmother, you know, people around him who love him, don't subscribe to that no snitching street nonsense. You know, they can't get some type of closure. You know, I'm they date that.
If you're not, if you're not going to take a street justice right and take justice into your own hands and go get them guys that that that that took Pop Smoke out, then you should be happy to see them get you know, thrown under the jail and the judicial system. This is the truth to the matter. Yep. And lastly, a fifty cent got into an incident, yes two days ago, he was out eating with it with his girlfriend and somebody that he's betfoot before. I don't
know if you remember. A couple of months ago, he was leaving a movie theater with his girl and somebody came up to him and said they wanted to wrap for him, and Fifty said said, no, not right now with my girl, and they got into the same guy that was That was the same guy. You're not going to tell me that I was the same individual. That
was the same individual. So fifty must live around that area, and that's the reason he's all it's only two different areas that the drive movie theater was on the other side of town. This was I guess he was eating, and the guy just happened to be there again and approaches again and started heckling fifty, and I guess that's something in Fifty just got fed up, allegedly, and some
chairs and tables were tossed and thrown. Well, I was about to go into this whole little soliloquy about self preservation. And I'm not mad at fifty for, you know, protecting himself if he feels threatened, even though I think he should have security. But if this is the same person came up to fifty and wanted to wrap, and then this person ran in the fifty again. Fifty might be
missing his blessing. He might be missing the next big artists on I'm serious, he really might be missing the person that could revitalize the whole Gunit brand in a real way. Like that dude might be dope. I'm just saying. I'm just saying, one are the chances of you having to almost beat this dude up twice in two different areas within a span of how many months? I mean,
the dude he is asking for it. I ain't gonna lie, but to get to the point where yo, if I'm with my lady, I'm with my family, and I say, yore, not right now, not right now, So when you can tinue, what else am I gonna do but put hands on? But if the same person, you're not intrigued at this point, you're not sitting back thinking fifties are very intuitive. Person. I got sitting back thinking like, man, maybe I need
to listen to this a rap like this. I've almost had to kill this guy twice and he keeps trying to get killed. He must really be nice. But I'm sure, A fifty probably knows who this guy is, no his information, and probably hurt him, and probably thinks the guy's not good. That's why he's not giving him the meeting or even
get him giving him a conversation. Maybe I don't know, but you know, yes, if you're out with somebody, if you're out with your lady, you're out with your family, and you know you keep disrespecting a person like that, Yeah, you're gonna get what you asked for my brother. Yeah, and you continue on, You're gonna get it. You're really
gonna get this. Just leave that. Man. I love. I love the fact that fifty was throwing tables, though, man I don't because it just it's just so fifty cent, it's so on brand, right, So you think if he walked away, you'd be like, that's not fifty. But said the fact that he allegedly threw tables, and chances like, that's my guy. He's a cancer, he's a it's can
the season. Okay, we already sensitive, we already emotional, we on edge, all right, we'd be trying to tuck our petty in, But y'all want to allow us to just tuck our petty in, so get these tables. Son, I'm surprised fifty and go chasing. That's all. I was really surprised. I was. When I was watching the video, I was like, please don't chase him, Please don't chase him, Please don't chase him. But that is your rumor report right now.
When we come back, still I still I still want to hit Homie Rapp though I don't care what you say. You want to hear him rap you ont of his music? I do? Danny, can you get the guys music? Daniel? Did we get here it? We can find out? He said, Where do I find that? We can find him? When we come back, we got front page news. We'll tell you about the NFL. Don't move. It's to breakfast club. Good morning, good morning. Everybody is tj Envy, Angela, Yay,
Charlomagne the guy. We are the breakfast club. Let's get in some front page news. Now. With all sports starting to come back, they have some new rules now. The NFL says, that's new game day protocols. It says teams will be forbidden from interactions within six feet of each other following games, and jersey exchanges between players are prohibited now they all do that after the game. But you can tackle each other and be breathing in each other's face,
the offensive line and defensive line the whole game. But you can't interact after the game, which none at all. You can social distance people, No, they say, on field fan seating will be prohibited, Both teams would travel to the stadium via bus, and media would be banned from the locker room. All right, okay, I mean it makes absolutely positivity. I think it makes no sense. You can't social distance on the football field, so after a whole couple of hours of me just tackling and jumping all
over each other, we can't interact after the game. Okay. Now, they said coaches and players wouldn't be required to wear masks on the sideline, but other game day workers in the bench area would be required to wear one. And they said bench at access will be screened the pregame and everybody would have to be take their temperature, so their temperature if it's over a hundred point four, you will not be able to go into the stadium on game day. Okay. I don't know if that makes sense,
but I mean whatever. Now we got to talk about Goya Goya's food CEO said us it should be blessed to have Trump as a leader. Do we have audio of that. We're all truly blessed at the same time to have a leader like President Trump who as a builder. And that's what my grandfather did. He came to this country to build, to grow to prosper Now I have to tell y'all, man our board up. His name is DJ Dramos. He is distraught about this whole situation. Dramas,
tell him what your what your ethnicity is? Please? M Puerto Rican? Puerto Rican? Why the reason he sounds like that because he has his mask on? Buta oh, he's been crying. What did you what? What? What? What? Why does this hit so close to home to you? Dramas? Because I mean, I use the products every day, you know what I'm saying, A louiball, that's my my go
to seasoning. Now, so you have a cabinet full of the beans and rice and the seasonings, and now that are now you have to give up a doball because of of of of the CEO of Goya's comments, because there's a boycott. You know what I mean, you gotta standwich people, right, yes, right, that is correct. This one hurts. Wow, wow, wow? The thing? Is there a backup to Goya? Maybe? I don't know. I saw like an organic option on Instagram and doing some research right now, so you know, fingers
crossed weekend, you'll find something. Well, I'm sure there's a lot of African American seasonings out there. I'm sure that you can check out some of those. That's that's that's what I think should happen, dramas. You should start dating a black woman, a black queen. Okay, okay, and learn some new ways to season you know your meat. I mean, I'm not against it, but you know, you know what you know, you know what I mean. Well, you have to try new things. This may be God's way telling
you to try new things. Since the CEO of Goya decided to build a wall around you know, his company in his biggest consumer base, which is the Hispanics. You know, I think that you might need to try something new, drama. That's all I'm saying. Listen, I'm on board with it. It hurts, but you know, I want to see the video later of you throwing away all your Goya jumping.
I need to see it. I need to see all the cans being removed all season and being removed the rice to cooking oil, everything, no kidney beans, no black beans. I want to see it all removed from the house. Dramas, that's right. That is a lot. There's a Cajun Nation owned by black owned company. There is Riley's black owned. There is PB and jams, there is balls Cajun foods. There is balls. That's what Dramas wants to stop right there. Dramas wants the ball season. That's what you want. I
know it is. Somebody send Dramas a case of the ball seasoning so he can get rid of the goya. I'm gonna tell you something, though, I'm giving this dude donkey today. I don't really care what his political leanings are, but my god, talk about not being able to read the room. How tone death do you have to be to just say f your business like this like that's because that's literally what he did. He just threw a middle finger to his business like you're gonna really CoA
signed Trump at the time like this. I really missed the days when people kept their political opinions to themself, and back in the day, people would keep that political opinion to himself, especially when they impacted their bottom line, which is the money. All right, well that is your front page news now, you know. Listen, we need to talk about something, man, because that envy you bought something. You bought something to my attention this morning. I don't know.
I'm pretty sure people saw the video yesterday a fifty cent throwing a table at someone when he was out with his woman yesterday. I think that was yesterday, maybe the day before, yes, but yeah, you you brought it to my attention that that was the same guy who ran up on fifty cent a while back trying to give fifty to this Look at his Instagram. Yeah, he's a rapper right now. Now, this guy, what's his name? Anybody knows his name? Doom NFL Doom. I know he's
from Irvington, New Jersey. The reason I know that is because I saw him on a glad TV TV TV video. If this is indeed the same guy who keeps running up on fifty cent, this would make two times he's ran up on fifty cent wanting to rap. Correct Um, we have to save this guy a trip to the hospital. We have to save this guy's life. Maybe maybe we have to keep fifty cent from catching the charge because if he keeps running up on fifty, it's not going to end well. So we want to do this morning.
What I would like to do this morning? What I propose, right, listen, since we had our team of trusted researchers digging on social media, I propose we play one of this guy's songs, maybe just the hooking a verse, all right, and we have listen. We have listeners call up and tell us if fifty should sign this guy. I like this, Okay, I like this because because this could help this This could help this guy out. Either he could get signed or if we could save his life, he won't get hurt,
he won't end up in the hospital either. Absolutely, we saved this guy from himself, and we have to save fifty from catching a charge. So I think we should play a play a hook in a verse from one of his guest songs. Have listeners call up and tell us if fifty should sign him. Are not okay? And if the listeners say hell no, then this guy has to leave fifty cent alone. I will go out there have the order of protection for fifty I will. I don't know if I can do that? Can we do that?
Can we know you can't do it for I don't think unless it's domestic violence, I don't know. I don't think you can just do it for your friend. Well, we need to help this guy. We need to save his life this morning. Okay, all right, now, now what happened? What happened? And people say we you know, it's fifty shoul sign him? What does that mean? Well, then that's when you that's when you hit your friend up. That's
your guy, you know what I'm saying. And you tell fifty like fifty, you really may be missing your blessing. You know, randomly this guy has randomly ran into you a couple of times with your lady. Maybe God is trying to tell you something. Maybe this is the guy you know that that that could could, you know, take the Junior brand to the next level. Okay, all right, that's fair. So his name is NFL Doom. So let's open up the phone lines. Eight hundred five five one
on five one, opened up the phone lines. Let's see do you think fifty should sign this gentleman? Or do you think he should pass on it? So we're just asking your opinion. Let's you better play. Yes, we play a piece of the song. Now, let let's play a piece of it. Let's hear. Let's hear NFL doing play Traman Water. Ok yeah, yeah, I reminding the Hunstan paper,

But hey, we'll talk about it when we come back. Stop it old is, don't
don't understand nigga like missing something. Okay, don't sway to Jerry. Let's let's just open up the phone lines eight hundred five eight five one on five one. What's your opinion? Call us up now. It's the dresser the club. We're trying to save NFL doing from imminent doom. It's the breakfast club. Goo boarding your phone call in right now, call me at your opinion to the Breakfast Club Top breaking down eight hundred and five eight five one on
five one the Breakfast Club. It's topic times called eight hundred and five A five one oh five wanted to join it to the discussion with the Breakfast club talk about it morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy we are the Breakfast Club. Now if he just joined us, we are During rumors, we talked about fifty cent getting into an altercation with a gentleman as he was eating with his girlfriend. A gentleman allegedly approached him again and all we see is chairs and tables
being thrown. Now, we're trying to save a life this morning. The brother's name is the NFL Doom. We're trying to save him from imminent doom. We're trying to save him a trip to the hospital. We're trying to save his life maybe, and we're trying to keep fifty cent from getting a charge. But I found out this morning because of DJ Envy, that this guy is the same guy who approached fifty cent before and wanted to wrap. He was on black TV talking about it. Right, Yeah, let's
play a clip. Fifty Let me tell you something man, I don't go far bigger than you all my life. Feel me, sads on me from I'm from Irvity, New Jorgan like for me, like yeah, I grew up listening to the music. Got solution, feel me. But when I approached you, I was like, y'all, I want you to look at my Instagram. That was it. But you just gang gang somebody like that FLOWERD. So this is the gentleman that was at the movie theater. Fifty was leaving
a movie theater. The gentleman was out there untail. He wanted fifty to go to his Instagram page. Yes, and now it's two things here, right, Uh. This guy could either be stalking fifty cent and he could really be some trouble our fifty cent could be missing, you know, a blessing. And this could be the guy who who who fifty cent puts out on g unit and and and you know he takes the g unit brand to another level. I get what you said. I get what
you said. So the first time could have been like, all right to do this bugging, but the second time he crossed paths, it could be like this could have been my bliss, could be my blessing. This might be something. This might be something. So let's play a little clip with a record. All right, let's play. Let's play clip. Let's play clip clean dirty money like a lunch Yah, trapman water oozy like a word. Yeah, call me ye Chopper, that dirty money man Clay. Yeah, I'm reminding the hunting
for that paper. I'm reminding the husting for the paper. Yea bitch, I'm using championship would get money, Chop wouldn't signing jove hip on my line for me, daddy, all that time, dripping slow, try and get dacked up. So I make game boy to get I don't go, I don't play. We don't hope show you get that up. I'm get that line up and I go all right eight hundred five eight five one o five one. What are your thoughts, taller man, what's start with you? Well,
I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm old. I have old ears. Um so being that I have old ears, I don't I don't speak in word like I used to. Okay, so I might be missing something. My initial reaction, honestly, is the far on that record. Drum Let me get a little ass gass please. Yeah, that's my initial My initial reaction is the fart on the record. But I don't want to be the person that blocks is blessing just because I might be missing out, you know what
I mean. I don't that that record might be hot to a lot of different people because the beginning with you, it sounds it sounds like a lot of the stuff I hear out here now in these streets. You know, so maybe maybe maybe he's onto something coming from Urbanton, New Jersey. I don't know, what do you think of you? The DJ? Well? Like you know, I mean today I will say I am getting a little older. You know. I realized I I hear in my ass now, so
sometimes I can't hear things like I used to. You know, Yeah, yeah, that happens. That happens. It usually happens to the white men and Dominican men. Doesn't really happen to black people too much. But but you are Dominicans. Don't understand. It's not it's not my my my type of music. Uh. I don't like it, um, but maybe you guys will. I don't want to sway to Jerry. I don't want to sway to Geory. I don't want to don't want I don't want to. I don't want to get in
the way of this man's blessing. If it is meant for him to sign the g unit, we will find out today. If it's not, then that guy I have to leave fifty cent alone forever. The next time you run down on fifty cent, you deserve whatever happens to you, sir, because you're harassing that man. Let's go to the phones, all right, Hello, who's this? Hello? Tito from New York? Tito, what's up? Tito? Good morning, Good morning? What are you thinking about that song? My man NFL doom man? He
ain't mad man, He's been there. He's basic. If you want to come to something popping, you gotta get something with the times. You the same thing like just like everybody else. You're doing the same thing everybody else doing. How you expect to be noticed? How do you think fifty pass? Yeah, no, fifty need to pass. I didn't make one shout out to my boy in Brooklyn Beard. Now now we're not doing that. We're not doing that.
That's disrespectful. See, that's why people be running up on y'all in the street because you won't let him get their shine on the radio, we're talking about something else. Hello, who's this? Hey? This is Pat? Hey Pat, Come on man, hey listen, man, I don't heard of the first story, second, the second time running into him. People didn't need to get a bodyguard or take a picture of this guy because that's our trash. No, don't sign him and get
that older protection because he's looking at something. M Yeah, okay, So so you think the record is trash? Absolutely? Okay, yes, yes, absolutely, yes, sir. All right, let's go to another line and then we'll take some more calls. Eight hundred and five, eight five one or five one? Hello, who's this Trees? What's good? Brother? Trees without brother? You know? Shout out to the breakfast club, Charlot Magne Envy there he's right there with a little
guy's with somebody like fifty. He could he could be right there. So you like the record, right? Oh? Okay, the record was decent. It was decent. But like I said, he ain't he ain't dead there, but he's right there. I mean, I'm gonna be honest. I'm old. I'm forty two, you know what I'm saying. So when I hear it, it sounds like a lot of everything else. I hear out here in these streets, and I don't really care for that either, you know what I mean. So I don't want to be the one to get in the
way of this man's blessings. But if you're telling me this kid is there, there's something there. Maybe fifty needs to send Renee to talk to him. Maybe fifty don't talk to him yet, but send Renee. Who's what's what's Renee's title? Envy? Uh? Renee is? I think he's A and R. I think he's there. You go executively, G I don't know what Renee's tad. He does everything over there. I'm gonna give NFL doing Renee's number an email. That's what I'm gonna do. They name might be worse than fifty.
I tell you, though, hold on, hold on. You said you said, if fifty don't sign him, what if you don't If he don't want to sign, he come see me. P Tree Instagram erment. He comes to me. There, you give about your info? Okay, we're getting stuff. He just got intam tres entertainment on Instagram. P Trees all right, heats Trees. What's up on Instagram? We just got NFL do reach out. This is a good consolation prize. All right,
this is just this is just the first beginning. We only got took three calls, so we got to take some more. Eight hundred one oh five one would take some more calls. Call us up as the breakfast club, good morning, wanting everybody. It's DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlemagne the guy. We are the breakfast club. Now if he just joined us, we were talking about fifty cent he got into allegedly got into an altercation the other night where he was eating with his girlfriend and a rapper
NFL Doom allegedly approached him again. This is the second time. This is the same guy approached him at the movie theater. So with asking is fifty blocking his blessing? This this kid nice and maybe fifty should sign him. This was such a revelation for me this morning. I did not realize that this was the same person. I was just thinking this morning that day. And fifty needs to get you know, security where people don't just be running up on fifty like that. So being and this guy has
ran up on fifty twice wanting to rap. We just want to make sure Fifty's not missing his blessing. That's all right, so so can do you want to play a little clip. Let's play a little clip of it again. Let's play a little clip of it clean dirty money like a lunch? Yeah, tatman? What a oogy like? Don't work? Yeah? Call me yea chop dirty money man clean? Yeah, I reminding the husband all that bad? I reminding the husband whatever hex becham would bustling? Check if I would gamn
money job, wouldn't sign no joke on my line? Call me daddy all that stop dripping show. Try to get gay dope so I may game by get I don't go. I don't play with hope shot you get that jop. I'm get that line up and I Now let's go to the phone lines eight hundred five eight five one on five one, Hello, who's this y'all? To J Jay? What up? Bro? What's up? B J? What's up? Charlot? How y'all feeling? Man? The God be good? But what
do you think about the record? Oh? Look, man, if the record was trash, I'm just gonna be honest to I'm gonna be upfront. Uh. If fifty want to wait for my do you like you did with Olivia, then go ahead sign this kid, but uh, I sorry, like about seven other cats, and he's not that good and he really should to keep with the tables getting cost at him because he ain't gonna make it in the industry. Why Olivia just catch at a straight shot like that?
But thank you? Brother? Happened? Where is she? Is she serving somewhere right now? What is she doing right now? Well, it's rich, it's rich. It's rich dollars fault, rich dollars ruined her now. And I would also say that, you know, you can't throw tables. I would rather you remember back in the then you just throw tomatoes at a person that was whack. Jesus Christ, you just said that. This guy sounds like seven versions of seven different whack rappers. Wow, geez, Hello,
who's this? Hey? Coome on to MoMA. Who are you calling from? Good morning? I'm calling from Detroit. Hey the d So what did you think about this? This? Oh? This this this record we played this morning? Yeah, that's a hard pass for me, you know, like hard now it was okay, fart on the record, damn it to put Detroit wants to put some mask gas on that record. Drum Let Detroit. Get a fart out. Come on, yeah, damn it. Man, All right, let's let's try one more person,
Come on, one more person. Hello? Who's this? Yo? Yo? Good mornings, Jeremiah, Central California. Hey Jeremiah from Kelly. What's up brother? Not too much man? How are you doing this morning? We're doing pretty good. So you just heard us play this record, this from this artist that wants to fifty set the listen? What what? What are your thoughts? You know, it's not bad, like I'm not seeing it good, but it's not bad neither. It definitely has potential to
be better and to get exposure. But what the guy did or whatever he said the fifty that set him off like that, that you messed up your opportunity, dog, and you know what I'm saying, like you could have approached him at a different time, and you know what, it kind of brings me back to the situation when fifty cent had months ago. Was it last year? I don't know if you guys recalled last year the situation with a dude who came up to him and told me,
just the same dude, game guy. That's why we're doing this. It's the same guy Yes, we're trying to We're trying to make sure that NFL Doom's not missing his blessing and fifties not missing his blessing by signing NFL Doom. It's the same person. That's why we're doing this. See, I don't know see my God, my God that I serve mysterious way. So I'm saying people, there might be something behind it. That's what I'm That's all I'm saying. I'm the same way with you. My God is telling
me the same thing. That's the only reason we're doing this, because we're either trying to save NFL Doom's life, save him a trip to the hospital, save fifty from getting the charge, are making a connection that could change the course of music forever. Hello. Who's this? Hello? Hey? Yeah, So you know what. Um, I don't think he's fifties calor, to be honest, but um, you know, he don't sound much different from the you know, five songs that you
guys play on the radio day in, day out. So I don't disrespect off playlist just because he only played the same five songs over and over, don't you do that? Yes, that's what we do. I'm just saying, so, you know he is stynable, you know, and you know possibly somebody
else will definitely pick him up. But you know, I really love that you guys encourage a persistence because of course you guys started from somewhere and yo, like, that's the reason why you guys are going to be inducted to the Hall of Fame, because you guys are you know connected. He drop on a bon for us going in the Hall of Fame, Thank you, sir. So what's the moral of the story. The moral of the story is NFL Doom needed to stop. You've ran up on
fifty twice. Knock it off, take another route. Peace Tree Entertainment wants them to hit you up on Instagram. I would tell you, NFL Doom, go with your celebrated, not tolerated. Peachtree Entertainment thinks there's something there with your music, so you need to hit them up on Instagram and leave fifty cent alone. Also, the other moral of the story, this has nothing to do with NFL Doom, but just kinda is in the same vein. Male groupies are the worse. Okay, men,
have some respect for yourself. It's one thing to want to get your music heard. It's one thing to want to get a picture, but be a pest alright, male group. He's running up on artists, running up on influences, saying things like sign my I mean sign sign my penis my bad. That's just disgusting. Okay, that's just disgusting. Knock it off. All right, well, all right, well thank you. Now when we come back, we got the rum us.
We gotta talk new music, all right. A lot of new albums, really, a lot of new albums came out today. We'll tell you all about this. It don't move us to breakfast club. Good morning. This just angel at breakfast Club. Well, first we have to shout out Juice World and resend the rest in peace. This is probably one of my son's favorite artists. He dropped a new album is called Legends Never Die. So let's play a clip of Juice
World's new album. I'm bending off ships, just about to go down on todd t. There's a lot going on in my head right now. But a man, a hard man, a good hard, good soul, bothing and bad hands. I could deal damn the real damn. Both hands and the arrows are scream out prayer, give me show. They're facing the midnight as got a new house. Gotta hide the skelet tennis in the closet and keep them there. Really trying to forget about They tell me, guy watching over me.
I don't doubt I can see him getting tired of me sitting the while. That was called titantic, so make sure you definitely pick it up to the young brother Juice World. Also kid cutting eminem they drop a record together. You're excited about it. I haven't heard it yet, but I was right outcause I like kick Cutty. All right, well, let's called the Adventures of Moon Man and Slim Shady. Let's play a snippet of kick Cutties first. Yeah, yes, it's been a minute, but I'm back in the ball, y'all.
Ain't dealing with the same ball. Gotta no trippet in the transition Wettitude mixed with the pure raw Hall the night game. You girl called she'd like to me be be done to give Bizzy busy snow dice Jill Wode in Life being Dizzy All, I've been visited the city and I go to wall see me in the day for the late night. Tell them it's the charm of a breeze mode to the gods. Can't tell my humor w them flights. I ain't swim in the light right, going to get you some going swarm So it's a
new thing. Yeah, let's not tying, not a talk Lebron and the Wayne way, Okay, Curt like cutty all right, Now, let's play a snip at Eminem's verse. I had hoop dreams now shoot Brees. I got a little green, but I don't doleve no, that's too chi. Yeah that's New Orleans. Drew Brees got snoop deal double, that's too jeezy. I'll probably spend on paper. Who wheeze, it's Tuesday. Probably kill
a few trees. I'm the only ones I smoke other loosely not high, but I'm your highness, so I secretly you're on Mike, but you hate us a butt hurt bunch of sore hind ins. I was just a poor white kid, not frapped with feetball. I'd be Jordan likes day. You wish you could score like this? Yeah, not even a half cord. I miss my mouthwashing because if I was on the floor right so way like switch, but I cannot lie. I got to win my top five worst rappers of all time. I lost my spot. Y'all
at all time? Okay. Eminem sounding like tem H now also a Summer Walker R and B artist. She released a new album. A new EP is called Life on Earth, so you could pick that up now. I'm loving I like Summer Walker. I like her lot. I think her collaborations and her songs are pretty dope, so shout out to Summer Walker. It's a five song EP, so you could definitely check that out. Uh Tory Lane, he shares a two pack of VVS capsule featuring a VVS ken. I didn't hear that, but I'm letting you guys know
what's out. And also HyG released a new joints called Swag. He has the video out and in the video he's dressed like Colin Kaepernick. Shout the HyG, let's play a snippet of that joint popping up with my swag on a way for the bandlead. Hold, let me get my banda like the slag swa pull up fast blast. I'm testing. No, I'm black. I think I'm sham swag swa swag Swag. I gotta let the mad baby said, I look like Dad. I don't really do much really, I just put it
with a whole lot of swag. I haven't seen the video. I love Why G, though, I think Why G gets busy, But I hate that album cover. I don't know why. It just it just it just looks like a parody. It just looks like a spoof. And I mean, I know what he was trying to convey and trying to get across, but it just looks like he's, for some reason, looks like he's making fun of Colin. I don't know why, but I know that's not what he was going I
don't think that's what he was trying to do. Yeah, I just think, as we say in Charleston, South Carolina, it just looks jokey. It just looks jokey. That's it looks jokey, not seem what he was trying to he was trying to represent for Colin Kaepernick. I think maybe because the jersey and the and the outfit doesn't fit right Afro. Yeah, and it just doesn't fit right. Yeah, it looked joy, It looked joky. It looked like a spoof,
like he about to go shoot a sketch or something like. Yeah, yeah, but we know he was doing it for the right reason. So definitely check out that new music. Uh of course it's new Music Friday. And what and what what if? What if? Wy g said Colin Rappernick, because he wasn't he didn't know that Kaepernick starts with a K, not a sit. What's wrong with you? Man? I don't know, I don't know. But anyway, that is that is your
room report. Who are you giving your donkey too? I need man, And this hurts my heart because I know that you know our board dramas. Who Who's Puerto Rican? He's in real pain this morning. I need Robert you nine new, the CEO of Go All Your Food, to come to the front of the congregation. We like to have a word with him. Can be tough for drama. All right, we'll get into that next. Keep it lock this the breakfast club. Good morning, It's time for Donkey of the Day. So being Dunky of the day a
little bit like the other day breakfast club. Now, I've been called a lot of my twenty three years, but donkey of thebelly is a new wife. Donkey of Today for Friday, July tenth goes to Robert you nau. Robert is the CEO of Goya Foods. Yes, the CEO of all your beans, rice seasonings, cooking oils, dat Goya. Now, my name is Charlomagne the got Uh Leonard mcclvie. I am a host of you know this show to Breakfast Club.
I'm saying this for all of our new listeners, especially those of you in Toronto listening to us on Flow ninety three five. The Breakfast Club consists of myself, DJ Envy and Angela Yee, but there are other players in the studio, like our board up DJ Dramos. He is of Latino descent. What are you exactly, Drummos? I am Puerto Rican, Puerto Rico. Hey, Yes, Dramos is heartbroken this morning that I am giving Robert you knew Donkey at
the day. He begged me this morning not to do it. Okay, he doesn't want me to bring any attention to this situation. I tried to explain to him that Donkey to Day does not discriminate, but he was almost in tears, asking me not to do those do this Dramas. I think I know why this is hitting so close to home for you, but I don't want to speculate. Why don't you want me to broadcast the story dramas. First of all, I never said dumb broadcasts a story, but yes I am.
I am heartbroken. Okay, well, listen, if you're wondering why boycott Goya and Goya foods are trending in the United States, it's not because people like dramas loved the red kidney beans and the black beans that much. It's because Robert you Nannu said, the USA is blessed to have the celebrity in chief, mister dope forty five, Donald J. Trump as a leader. You can't make this kind of stuff up.
Let's listen, We're all truly blessed at the same time to have a leader like President Trump, who as a builder and that's what my grandfather that he came to this country to build, to grow, to prosper Dramas, How does that make you feel to hear Robert U Nannu, the CEO of Goya, say that America is blessed to have Trump as a leader. I mean, it's disgusting obviously, and then also just makes me think about how much season my food from now on. You know, it's a
terrible terrible day. Wow, now priorities dramas as the priorities together. I'm gonna be honest. I don't care about his political opinion dramas. How do you say, I don't give a damna in Spanish man in portocotulando, Yes, I don't give it. Whatever the hell dramas just said what Robert thinks about
Donald Trump. But when you are the CEO of the nation's largest Hispanic on food brand, why in't that hell would you build the wall around your most loyal consumers by saying that America is blessed to have Donald Trump as a leader, talking about talk about not reading the room. Let's go down the line of some of Trump's greatest Hispanic hits. Okay, he called Latino immigrants criminals, killers and rapists. He said the Mexican government intentionally sends their criminals to
the US. He kicked a Latino reporter, Jorg Ramos out of a press conference, actually told him to go back to Univision. Now, let me tell you something to be fair. Despite his harmful rhetoric, Trump's policies have attracted a certain subset of those in the Latino community. In fact, they are saying he may get up to twenty five the thirty percent of the Latino vote in this year's presidential elections not far fetch, because in twenty sixteen he got
twenty eight percent of the Latino vote. Why would any self respecting Latino vote to re elect Donald Trump. I have no idea, Dramos, Did you vote for Trump? Of course not. I'm just making sure, Okay, I don't know how he got elected in the first place. All I know is DJ Dramos has a cabinet full of mango nectar and coconut water that he has to throw out today.
All because even though with thousands of immigrant immigrant children locked up in cages at the border not on, Trump still rocks Latinos to sleep by doing things like he did yesterday, and that's signing an executive order that created a new advisory commissioned task with improving Hispanic Americans access to economic and educational opportunities. Some people are able to overlook the bigotry for legislation like that. They say, to
Hispanic economy is doing well. Hispanics got jobs, That's what they care about. They are not monolithic, so some of them just simply don't care. But once again, I personally, personally don't care about who they choose to vote for. I don't care about Robert Uni Knew saying America is blessed to have Trump. I care about the CEO of a company not giving a damn about his bottom line. Why are you willing to risk to pay souls in this way? I remember a time when you didn't know
who CEOs of these companies were politically affiliated with. Because smart businessmen don't want to offend anyone, because they know whether you rep the red or the blue, you have that green. Why offend any side when you can get money from both of them. Smart ceo sell guns to both sides, keep their political affiliations to themselves. We are in an error right now where it's so easy to divide people. It's so easy for people to pick sides. Why you, after all these years of making billions, would
you bring all this bad press on yourself? Gaia okay, ceo A gaya Robert n date you nondu by sitting next to a man who simply isn't good for business. Now. I know you're probably banking on the Latinos that support Trump to still support you, But what about the Latinos like dramas who have to throw out there Goya black being burgers. Those are pretty new dramas hasn't even tried him yet. He had a hot date tonight. He was gonna put some Goia black being burgers on the grill.
Now you have to throw them out because of you and your poor decision making skills. Where are the Latinos that support you gonna get their Adobe what's it called drum adorable? Where you're gonna get your Adobo from now? Drum? I mean, listen, I'm not gonna lie to you. The last few hours I've been googling Otherlobo products, so I think it will be okay. I'm a little calmer now
than I was this morning when I woke up. Okay, the morl of the story is, Robert, you have a pr nightmare right now that you cause for no reason. You can handle your business by not spreading your business. And even though it's good for us the consumers to know where not to spend our money, I can't stop thinking about how stupid he is to mess up the pistils. What's some other words for money in Spanish? Drum? Then? Never how you mess up that the denat role. It's
all about the Denai role. How you messed that up by simply not being smart enough to keep your political affiliations to yourself. Traumos, how do you say stupid in Spanish? It's stupid? Oh please let Robert you not knew get the sweet sounds of the hamiltones. Oh no you are do gee? Oh the da do gee. Oh the day gee. This is disgussed. Okay, tra almost got so many pantry items he has to throw out. He's got yellow rights he has to get rid of. He has that he
has to let go. Now. Oh he's disgusting. See I would be offended if this all wasn't true. That's that's the best up part about this because it's true. But but the sad thing is that it's true. All you're saying, well, he's he's a third generation family member. Of course, his family is the second richest family in the United States.
They worth about one point one billion dollars. Now, the thing with the Goya products is, which is even crazier, is they have four thousand employees, so they make about one point five billion dollars as revenue. But they have four thousand employees and they have factories and shops everywhere, everywhere. The headquartered in Jersey City, here in New Jersey. So let's open up the phone mines. Yes, yes, let's open
up the phone lines. I need to know how many people are in are in the same boat drop most this morning? All right? Eight hundred five eight five one on five one. What is the question? Are we getting rid of our Goya products? I need to know if people are really boycotting Goya. It's this really a deal breaker for you, dramas is. I really want to talk to the Latino community. I really don't care what everybody
else thinks about this, but I'm open to it. But I really want to hear from the Latino community because I want to know are you getting rid of your Goya? Goya is a staple in Latino. Holmes, am my lion, drum nah, that's true. What do you finding Latino? Holmes? More Goya, lemon salt. Was gonna say white jeans. I thought he was gonna say white jeans, My goodness, but Goya? All right? Eight hundred five eight five one on five one. All you giving up your Goalia products? A right? That
is the question? Eight hundred five eight five, one on five one. My nanny is so upset right now, but call us up right now. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. It's topic times. The phone called eight hundred and five eight five one oh five. Want to join it to the discussion with the breakfast club. Talk about it morning. Everybody is tj Envy Angela yee. Charlomagne the gay we are the breakfast Club. Now, Um, Charlemagne
just gave donkey of the day to CEO of Goya. Yes, Robert, what's his name? Robert Nane? Am I pronouncing that right? Drama? I think it's Robert. His family is the family that founded Goya. Now Goya has four thousand employees, over four thousand employees, and it's the largest Hispanic owned food brand. Now they're facing backlash right now because of the things that he said. He said that, uh, well, let's just
play the audio. We're all truly blessed at the same time to have a leader like President Trump who as a builder and that's what my grandfather did. He came to this country to build, to grow, to prosper all right, Now, what's the question, Charlemagne, I mean the question I want to know is you know, we have DJ drama. He's in Puerto Rican, he's all boughed up. He has to throw,
you know, everything out of his cabinet today. He has to get rid of his red kidney beans and the black beans and go ahead, just put out this new black bean burger that he hasn't even all right, not rubbing in your rubbing in. They have a lot of He's got to get rid of all his the South song and the Dobo, you know what I mean. I mean, it's just bad. And you know that's ninety percent of what drama eats, you know what I'm saying. So I just want to know are there other people out there
that have to do the same thing this morning? I want to know because be personally, I don't care about his political affiliation. I just can't believe he was stupid enough to go out there and tell everybody what his political affiliation was, because whether you're wrapped the red or the blue, it's all about that green. And right now he's messing up those pastels, he's messing up those din their roles. That's all all right, Well, let's go to the phone lines. Hello, who's this? Oh my god, I
can't believe I got through. I'm so excited. So yes, ma'am, how are you doing this morning? I'm doing well. How are you guys? Good? Good, good good. Now we're talking about go your products? What are you gonna do with your go your products? What's your thoughts? But no, okay, this was this one hit home because I'm some es Central America and I was raised by like a single grandmother and that's pretty much all she bought, that's all
she knows. So now I have to go ahead and break the news to her because you know, a lot of like Hispanics are usually like conservative and very close minded. But I was lucky enough to be raised by someone that's very very open minded. So she's been supportive of me, supporting like BLM and the entire movement. So now to break this to her and for us to have to throw away all these products, like it hurts, but you know it's ridiculous, Like you have to make a stand.
We have to do whatever's necessary so that you know, we're not putting money into people that are supporting those kinds of ideas. Very true. What does she use the most that she used? The cooking oils, the most olive oil beings with everything. That's all I know, like everything cans pretty much. Wow. All the site is pretty much like everything everything that you can possibly imagine, the rights everything. Wow. Wow, it's gonna be tough. Good time to get into the now,
the good time to get into this Spanish seasoning business. Hello, who's this? Yo? Yo? Yo yo? Friday? Garcia in the house, Garcia? What are you doing? Oh man, we gotta support the goil man, you know, you know, we started for nothing and now we're here. You know, so I came from Cuba and they took everything from us. So when we came over here, we regretted an opportunity. So yeah, we support Trump, you know, and we support Goyal. Okay, this
is interesting. Why do you support Trump? Is it because because everybody I've heard that the Hispanic community, some people in Hispanic community, because y'are not monolithic, support Trump because the Hispanic economy is good and because he creates jobs for this ban the community. Is that true? Oh? We got work, yes, we do. We got work out working right now than God cutting concrete up on the twenty fourth story. You don't cutting the breaking And why do
you attribute that to Donald j. Trump. Oh, Man, he's given a lot of work over here. Man. Oh the work all Miami, Broward County, West Palm Beach, you know. And it's all due to the economy, you know, even even with the coronavirus. I'm out here working Monday through Friday, even on the weekend at catch money. You know. Well, I mean, listen, you're other people. You're the people, the subset of people like you are who I'm sure Robert you, Nanda are What the hell is his name? Robert You
not Goya. I'm sure that he's banking on people like you to continue to supporting. Good Morning, La Man and good morning DJ mvry Man. I don't agree with that on that other rapper though, I'm not with that rapper, you know. Don't hang up on that hang up board the name my favorite slip. He went out, took a different topic. Two. So what I would talk about the day that is that now we will not have any
brown on brown violence in here. Drump all right? Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one, or you getting rid of your Golia products? What are you doing? Call usnails the breakfast Club? Good morning morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela yee. Charlomagne the guy we are the breakfast club. Now if he just joined us, we're talking about Gloria products. Charlomagne gave the ceo donkey of the day because of his stance with Donald Trump. So we're asking no, no, no, no, no no. His name is
Robert You nine knew. I didn't give him donkey in the day because of his stance of standing with Donald Trump. Because I don't care what his political affiliation is. I gave him donkey to day because he's the CEO of a company. Why mess the money up and bring bad press to your company? Because it don't matter if you're liberal, Democrat, Republican, conservative, red or blue. It's about that green sell guns to both sides, Like why split the money in half? Like this? Why? Well,
let's go to the phone lines. Hello, who's that? My name is Kimberly Rodriguez. Hey, Kimberly, do you what do you do with your GYR products? Well? I haven't done anything yet because I heard it about it yesterday and I was just kind of talking to my husband and thinking like, okay, so what are we gonna use? Because I use some moahole. I mean all the boy Of products to make the Spanish rude that everybody loves. So I think somebody needs to fugout with something else. Um,
so we can let go of Boya. I mean, somebody needs another company needs to come out with something similar, because a lot of those products that we use, um, there's nothing else. You know, you can't find that on the regular spice and salt um the spices aisleso. So so, Kimberly, let me ask you a question. Let me ask you a question. Goya has that much of a monopoly on on on the Spanish Hispanic seasoning products and stuff like that. There's no other company. It's got to be another company.
I like, I'm trying to think to be honest, but I mean really like, I mean that's what I always grew up with. I mean, yeah, to be honest, that's how much of amenough Oh yeah has the Hispanic community. You go into every household, they got Goya products. So I mean, you know we're gonna have to make our own ingredients from scratch or find something else. One last question, Kimberly, what do you use more? What have you used more? Goya? Lemoso? Ore? Thank you mama. Hello, who's this Hi? My name is
Gee Day Gee. What are you calling from? Called from Westchester? All right, we're talking about your Goya products. What are you doing with your Goya products? Brother, man, I'm getting rid of all of them. That's a shame of the CEO supports men that puts down all Hispanics. Yeah, I mean, let's imagine another question. Well, you know, twenty five to thirty percent of the Latino vote initiates presidential election is expected to go to Trump. Twenty eight percent went to
Trump in twenty sixteen. Why do you think that is? Why would any self respecting Latino vote for Donald Trump beat to me? Our business? Probably if they if you know, if they can benefit off of something for business, you know, make the profit, I guess they're gonna do it. Yeah, that's what I've been hearing. I've been hearing because the Hispanic um economy is doing well and because it's it's a lot of jobs in the Hispanic community, they attribute
that to Trump. So yeah, you're right, yeah, the same. Yeah. So what you're getting rid of, first man, and what you're gonna regret getting rid of? What? What? What is it? Is it? The man go nectar, the coconut water is yeah, probably the soft pone. You know, you got to get rid of that, the staple and knowledge span house offs. But you know what, there's other seasoning products out there. Yeah. Man, all right, brother, well thank you brother. Be A lot
of chicken impnada is getting thrown out tonight. Oh my goodness, all right, have it going, brother, A lot of Tomali's getting thrown out tonight. Man, what is the mo of the story? You're coming this right now, bro, you're loving this moment. What are you talking about? You you're glowing right now, stock Like I feel like I just lost a family member and you're sitting here just just turned the knighte. Why would I be upset that you gotta get rid of your goal your rights with chicken. Are
you go your rice with ground beef? Are you go your rice with pigeon peas? I would never gloat about this. You've never done this much research on anything before in your entire life. Bro. This is crazy. What are you talking about? All about the chicken? I know all about the chicken fricacy? Where rice? Drum? How dare you? What's what's the moral of the story, man, Drum? What is the moral of the story. You tell us man, you know what more story is. As much as it hurts,
sometimes you just gotta do the right thing. And I want to give some some shout outs to some products we could, you know, supplement Force. So there's a brand Louisa. They're here in New York City. They make a Lobo ensa song. And there's also another brand called the Florida that somebody hit me up on Instagram to tell me about as well, So definitely go check them out. Well, who're making the rice putting though? You got that good rice putting drum? We're gonna out Okay, goole rice putting.
You get stop googling. You're googling all this. Definitely it's crazy mad gool your products and mad Latino and stuff. All right. Now, when we come back, we're gonna be checking in with a legend. Usually we do the rumors, but a legend is gonna be checking and he goes by the name of Donnie Simpson. You might have heard him on radio, you might have seen him on b
ET and we're gonna chop it up with him. He is nominated as well as the Breakfast Club for the Radio Hall of Fame guarantee you if you're in the DC area of Baltimore, Virginia. He smashed your grandma. Guarantee your aunt Donnie Simpson has taken it down. I wouldn't say your grandmother. He might probably your mother aunt. Yes, yes, your mom, mom's aunts and young grandma's. They don't guided
by Donnie Simpson guarantee. Oh my goodness. All right, we'll get into that next keeping lock this to Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. Morning. Everybody is cej Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. We have a special guest on the line right now, a legend, a legend. Ladies, welcome, thank you, Hey, what's up? Charylavaine? How are you doing? Brother? And I'm blessed Black and Holly favor Man. Yes, sir, yes, sir, praise the Lord. Man.
Good to talk to y'all. Man. You know, yesterday we were reading the nominations because you know, we were nominated for the Radio Hall of Fame, and we were going through wils for nominating and then we've seen your name and we couldn't understand our A legend like you wasn't in the radio Hall of Fame already. Word, I was shocked to find that up. I know, man, well, several people sent me the video of that, the audio, and uh, I gotta tell you, man, it was moving for me
to see your reaction to that. And that's why I wanted to call in today man, just to say thank y'all for that. You know that that meant the world to me. Man, to know that you know that my people feel that way about me. Man, It's just it was just really cool. It was very special. Man, you'll thank y'all. You a legend, Donnie. I mean, I listen, I'm forty two years old and BT just celebrated their forty if you know, birthday, So that means literally half
or seventy five percent of my life. I grew up watching you on DT and just seeing a black man on television being himself doing this thing. When I got doing knowing your radio background at DC, that's just conspiring, you know. Yeah, my man, Well, thank you brother. I really appreciate that, man. And you know, to know that you have inspired somebody is you know, that's rewarding. Uh. You know, and I wanted to talk about something that
you said yesterday. Man. You were talking about, you know, the Hall of Fame and the lack of diversity in it and all that, which has always been an issue for me too, and I mean for thirty five years. Man, well let me don't not go back that far. But just I was nominated two years ago and the first thing I did was look at the list of people that are in there, and for me, when I didn't see Frankie Crocker in there, wow, you know, it's like, man,
it ain't legit. Frankie Crocker to me was the greatest DJ ever man, you know, and just the true legend. And it's said to me that you really you don't see us at this point if you can, if you can have a Hall of Fame paradio or not have Frankie Crocker in there, then it's just not right. So um, you know, but I'm honored. I don't want to knock it,
you know. I mean obviously they see, uh, this right now present an opportunity for them to have some diversity in their club, and uh, and I feel like, man, it doesn't have to be me, but it does have to be us. I said that yesterday. I feel like, you know, maybe like you said, you were nominated two
years ago, so we don't get in this year. I'm sure we'll get nominated again, But you, Angie Martinez swaying, and the fact that you're telling me that the only black man with a sun tanned Frankie Crocker not in there. What are we doing? Like what it on there? I don't understand, like loving it. I didn't see a love at loving doctor Dreda as well. Yeah, yeah, man, Well you know it's uh they know it though, so you know it will change. And I guess the cool thing is that if we do get in, then you can
be a part of that change, you know. But but I'll say this too, man, And I'm gonna take this back to a conversation I had one night with Frankie Beverly and we were talking about our careers and just how they're they're similar in this regard that Black America everybody knows you, they got mad love for you, but white Americas just kind of, you know, they don't really know you. I'm not saying that none of them do.
Some of them do. But you know, and that I said, Frankie, I would never speak for you, but I think I can on this issue that while I love that we have all of Black America, I wouldn't do anything to sacrifice that to try to get the rest of this. You know that this. I don't need that to validate me, you know what I mean. The fact that my people feel that way about me, man is award enough. Anything you get me beyond that is just gravy. Yeah. I don't need I don't need the white man validation. I
don't need these these white organizations validation. I love all people our community absolutely. You know. We just want to say thank you as well, because, like I said, we grew up on you and Charlomagne. I bet you didn't know that Donnie Simpson, they say, is the first urban format radio personality to have an annual salary over a million dollars without being sim I definitely knew that, yeah,
talking about I absolutely positively knew that stuff. I'd be googling and research and you said that out Donnie sitting in the high look at it, good call, look a look at look a look at that ambiance in the back. I get it to see this killings brother and do a little bit like that for a long time. That's funny, man, y'all crazy, man. So so what do I needed to do moving forward, Donnie, to make sure that the Radio Hall of Fame does recognize our great to our legends
or should we even care? Should we start our own Black radio Hall of Fame? I don't know. Well, you know what, that's an interesting thought, man. You know we've got the R and B Music Hall of Fame, you know, uh, so you know why not? But I you know, I think if we did that, this is still cool. You shouldn't have this too, um, But you know, I think that, you know, we're doing what we should do right now.
Charlotte Maine. We were talking about it, man, and that if we get in there, then we can help to work it from the inside of our people to recognize man, because you know I mentioned Frankie, but there a whole lot of legends. Man. There were every city in this town, and you know the history of radio what it used to be. These people were powerful voices. Man, could stop riots, you know, I mean the stuff Pete Green, Uh, I mean,
it was just they were. They were endless personality. E Rodney Jones out of Chicago, man Herb Kent, the cool gen. There were so many great personalities man, and then you know it was like systematically personality was stripped from radio. Yeah, you know, so they should go back and recognize some of these people too. Man, there's true legends and radio man that had power that no one has seen sense, man, Yeah, if Pete Green's not in, that's another travelsy because Pete
Green influenced the Howard Sterns of the world. That's right, Pete Green, that's my favorite radio personality of all time. If he's not in it, Frankie Crocker's not in, then I'm gonna have to say the Radio Hall of Fame as a sham. I'm gonna have to see that. Yeah. Well, you know they'll fix it, you know, because the people like you man talking about it. Man, I'm telling you that makes a difference. Man, absolutely, And I respect you man for being so both of y'all for being so
vocal and all that y'all do. Man, you know, it's amazing to watch what y'all have accomplished. I want to wish y'all luck and get in the whole fame even though we all know it. You don't need it to validate you, but your people give you a validation every day. Man, I want to see you get in there too. My brother absolutely appreciate check it in this morning too, man, We really appreciate it. Hey man, it's my pleasure. Brother,
God bless you. Man. Vote November. Get this man out of here, get out there for it's the Breakfast Club. Good morning Owning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne, the guy. We are the Breakfast Club that shout to Donnie Simpson for checking in again earlier today. He's nominated for the Radio Hall of Fame, just like the Breakfast Club. So we just wanted to kick it with the legend for a little bit now, even though I feel like the Breakfast Club is put in a lot of work.
And you know, when you hear like guys like Donnie Simpsons say that they've been nominated before the Radio Hall of Fame before and didn't get in. We know legends icons like Angie martinezn't been nominated before and they didn't get in. It's it almost feels like, yo, if we can't get in before Aie Martinez, Donnie Simpson and Swaye Callaway. So I feel like too, but we can all get together. We can because that would be a great twenty twenty class.
You know, That's what I'm saying. Radio Hall of Fame, Like, yo, you need to just like, first of all, it's a shame. It's a travesty that Donnie Simps and Angie Martinez and Suaye Callaway and not in. And you know, putting us in now would be great as well, So you might you gonna have to take all of us, bro And it's disgusting. And I'm on the Radio Hall of Fames asked because I love radio so much, it's my passion.
But to know people like Frankie Crocker, the only black man with a sun tan, to know people like Pete Green, people who have inspired me to know that they're not in. Lets me know that people like mister Magic aren't in, you know what I'm saying. Lets me know probably people like you know, uh, Mark Clark aren't in. Like I don't know, it's just it's just disres It's just I just find it so disrespectful that inspired and all these all these legends that have inspired us so much aren't
in the Radio Hall of Fame. It's just like, yo, y'all really got a blind spot when it comes to black people, and so I need to know what y'all gonna do moving forward to make sure that those blind spots don't exist. And when we look at y'all, what was that? What was that you were looking at yesterday? And be the board or what was that the committee? It was the committee Comte. It's the only two people
and that's why you know you got blind spot. So listen, I just need y'all to do better, you know what I mean. Thank you for the nomination, but I just need y'all to do better. And this year would be a good start in getting it right. All right, all right, And let me also shout out to all the graduates to there. So shout to the graduates. Congratulations and positive note is up next morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We all the breakfast club. Now it's time to get up out of here.
