Yo Ani and Charlomagne, the guy my dad asked up. The breakfat club is a ring. I'm not good okay, yoka, okay. I love coming here. I'm never not gonna come here. You guys are good to me and lieuta them always gonna be good deal for a lot of people in the hip hop generation. The breakfast club is where people get the information on the topics, on the artists and everything like that. In that aspect, radio is still important. The breakfast club with my name came m my respect you.
Good morning Usa yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo. Good morning angela ye, good morning Charlomagne, the guy, piece of the plane. It is Thursday. Yes, it's do yes, it is. I like being in the studio. How y'all, good morning? What's happening? Can you cut the music down a little bit? You gotta turn the music down for him. Look are you parents out there? We got encouraged the kids to do some work, right, you're
talking about kids are lazy these days. I'm explaining to you right. So I'm binding my business, doing my real estate thing. Looking at home yesterday and my dad calls me. My dadds like, what you're doing, pops. It was like, yeah, I'm about to, um, you know, shovel my shovel a back out because I can't get out if there's a problem. I'm like, well, what do you mean as kids, dad do it? He said, there's no kids walking around shoveling
snow anymore. I said, what do you mean, Dad? That's like, that's how we made money, Like we wanted a snowstorm back in the day because we shoveled in the summertime. We cut people's grass. That's how we made a little extra change. It's like, there's no kids. I was like, yo, Dad, I'm on my way, don't know't even show. He's like, no, I don't come out here. I got it. I'm like dad, he was like, I just do a little bit out of time. So I drive the Queens yesterday. You know,
I hop out with my timberlands. That's not meant for shoveling snow. But I'm like, I got boots on, bro. It took me four hours to shovel out my dad's call yesterday. Further of all, I'm glad that you're still a good child to your parents. Hurts, but I'm aching. Like it's to the point where I was like, this is what and the snow got extra like in New York we got about twenty eight inches, right, so twenty eight inches after two days it is ice, so it's heavy.
I couldn't find no kids to help me shovel out the snow, or don't, don't don't don't chastise all of them, all the kids across America because of them, a little punk ass, lazy ass kids. They're deliver around your daddy, Okay, because in mind in the area that I live in, them kids to be on it. Okay, they come through, they're ready to show. They shovel the driveway, the walk, the walk up all for forty dollars. Okay, you cheap. If you get them kids, Oh my gosh, you gotta
get them. That's why. That's crazy. What they asked for. That crazy. Yeah, they're not. They're not. They're not the water boys in Atlanta that they're telling you, hey, give me some. They said, Yo, we want, this is how much we want. They might have gave me. I would definitely get them on that forty dollars thirty dollars when I was a team of all. If it's two kids and they come in to do that for forty dollars, wow, y'all, y'all talk about about yall sound in privilege to shovel
I got like, I sound like. If I can't get them for I will, I will. I was a kid, and that was it working hard a little time about giving them what they asked for. Okay, it's great and a little tips. So yes, you got a fifty dollars Billis you keep the show? Okay? Now? Is a tip? No, it's not just to stay fifty dollars extra ten dollars. But my point is, y'all sa a rich and privilege because y'are like twenty dollars not a lot of money to bro. I got twenty dollars when I was a
kid to shovel snow. Okay, that was a long time ago. Okay, man, let me tell you something. I always bills, always overpay when I can, bro, if I can't afford to give a kid a little bit more than that, yes, Bro, I was getting twenty dollars with ninety nine cents a gallon gas is two nineteen to gallon. Now, okay, so how much how much you think the kid should get the shoveling snow? Depending on how much like the snow that I had to at least at least forty fifty
dollars for shoveling that snow. How much should I just say I get the kids twenty dollars? You think these people listen, fifty dollars each kids each? No dollars a kid? No, No, absolutely not. It's not you're acting like they're doing. It's not a lot of work. Yes, it is a lot of work. I'm speaking from my house. I'm speaking from my driveway and my walk up my pen. I don't have a I don't have a driveway because I live in Brooklyn. I don't have a driveway. I just got
some steps and right in front of the house. It's not a lot, and I definitely pay more than that pays eighty dollars. I'm coming to your house and doing your house for that's a little much. Now, eighty dollars at what I'm not listening. I'm gonna be Out'll just be talking. No, no, no no, I'll be trying to look good. I'm going to eight dollars, but two kids, they get
forty dollars a piece. I'm coming to the house next time, all right, just keep thirty dollars at the Doorty dollars great problem if you really come, if you really come and shove or go ahead. Forty dollars great for two and a fifty dollars. Fifty dollars, so fifty dollars great for two kids. The show was now all right, well the kids, man, let's get the show cracking. Master Pea will be only us this Morning's right, he will be here. He always here to give us a free jury. He's
got a lot of things going on, per usual. Yes, cars and sneakers and trying to buy Rebok. We'll talk about it, cereal and noodles and all that. So and then we got from a page news what we're talking about. Well, let's talk about the All Star Game. Looks like that could be happening on March seventh. All right, we'll get to that next. Hits High Fashion. Hey, it's a new joy. No, it's not. Try to Richard the breakfast Loco more. Let's
go bottom. Hey, you know warning everybody is DJ Envy, Angela, Gee, Charlomagne, the guy. We all to Breakfast club. Let's get some front page news where we start, Well, it looks like the All Star Game, the NBA All Star Game could
be happening on March seventh. The game would be played at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, and it would do the traditional Eastern Conference versus Western Conference, but rather than it being on weekend, they would make it a one night event, which would include the All Star Game in the skills competition. If this happens, Yeah, I didn't know that they were even thinking about canceling it. When I
started hearing I'm saying it was still having it. I was like, I didn't think they were not having the NBA All Star weekend. Now they definitely said they were going to cancel it. Now they're gonna do it, you know, everything in one day, which which she said. But I mean, I'm excited about it. I like All Star and Atlanta is open, so I guess that would be the best. And that's why it makes no sense. The NBA's playing
games everywhere every night. The one game, one game is going It's going to be a preventive measure, Like come on, have the game all right now, Domestic violent extremism is still a concern as we get ready for the Super Bowl this weekend, and they're talking about the security that's going to be happening there. It's like a level one right now. It's a Special Event Assessment Rating one, which means they have unlocked federal resources to help secure the game.
But it's lower than what they did for the presidential inauguration as far as levels now. According to Our Homeland a newly minted Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Majokas, he told CNN that there is still a huge threat of domestic rorism that's persistent. Listen to this, How imminent is this threat and what is your plan to address it? Another
threat is persistent to this day. What we in the Department of Homeland Security do is we gather intelligence, We gather information, We share that with our state, local, tribal, and territorial partners as we collectively in an all of government effort, combat hate and the violence that accompanies it. Canada has listened the Proud Boys movement as a terrorist group, by the way, so that means that they're able to freeze their financial assets and criminalize financing, training and recruitment
for any of those groups. Salute to Canada for declaring the Proud Boys the terrorist group. Salute to America for declaring the Proud Boys their fathers, sons, and cousins. Because they are. And it's amazing to me that after the events on January sixth at the Capitol Building, have to Trump telling the Proud Boys to stand back and stand by. Seeing the things these Proud Boys have done, it's amazing to me there's nothing being done about them in America.
He can't even get live with a terrorists organization now. One woman who was arrested in connection with that January sixth attack at the US Capitol has asked if she can go on a prepaid trip to Mexico this month. She's asked the federal judge if she can go. Jenny Cudd, she owns a flower shop in Midland, Texas. She has two misdemeanor charges. They had all this video of her talking about going into the capital and bragging about them breaking into the office and uh, you know, taking a
picture with the gavel and all of that. Now she wants to be able to go on this trip to Mexico. No word yet on whether or not they're going to allow that. Of course they are. Do you think the reason America hasn't labeled the Probad Boys a terrorist group is because a lot of those lawmakers are actually probably probably probably right. Yeah, all right, well, lad is your front page news. Get it off your chests eight hundred
five eight five one oh five one. If you need to vent, folon to wide open this to breakfast club. Good morning the breakfast Club. This is your time to get it off your chest. got rumors all the way. Yeah, let's set it off with Trey songs and this video that leaked. But tell you his response to it. You could have seen him live on only fans. All right, we'll get into it next. It's the breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. It's about is the rumor report? Angela? Ye, the Breakfast Club. Well, yesterday a clip went viral and everybody is saying it's Trey Songs getting oral sex. On the clip. You can the tattoo on his arm. That's how they've been able
to identify him. Now, in response to this, Trade Songs posted his selfie where he's looking at his phone and he's making it. He has a shocked face emoji, and people were lighting up in his comments. Then he went on to post Lincoln Bayer with yall curious ass and then uh, he said, I walked with a limp because and he said, you say, they leaked what baby, I'm out here going live on Only Fans now pull up.
I'm glad y'all told me about the tats because I was really confused on how folks figured that was a Trade Songs yesterday because the way social media was talking, I thought his face was in the video and he was on this screaming yeah or whatever the hell he be saying. But what did you see when you looked at the video? I saw a man receiving oral sex? All right, well we'll see. I didn't. I didn't get a chance to see the only fan, so I don't know what went on if anybody watched it, well, he no,
he promoted an only fan. No, I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing, he did, right, Well, what's doing I'm not gonna listen. I'm trying to figure it out, like you put it on only fans. So he leaked as himself. No, no, no, no, no, it was leaked, and then he responded to it, and then he promoted only fans. Oh, oh got you got you got? Okay, all right now. Wendy Williams ex husband Kevin Hunter is opening an Italian restaurant in Brooklyn. It's called Loretto. He
announced it on social media. Time to work on my legacy For a kid from Brownsville, Brooklyn, this is a dream come true to be a part of an amazing team to create something so extraordinary. So he's working with his partners Finesse and the brothers Johnny and a. Robberty said, I look forward to nothing but success. Continue to thank God for the blessings. The soft opening will be on Valentine's Day. So your legacy is to open a restaurant in New York City during the pandemic when the restaurant
industry is struggling. That's that's that's a good legacy. That's a small business move that I'm just well, I mean, I'm sorry. It just must have been in the works for quite some time now for it to be opening on Valentine's Day, and that's when restaurants open at deliveries and Uber Eats and things like that. Congratulations, you don't meant you don't say it. I'm trying to project positive
energy here. We can see, okay, positive vibes. I would to be like, I got another name for the rest of but I've really does He was like, no, I'm not gonna do that. But it's just like, I mean, come on, man, whatever, it's some eggplant parmesan. Maybe just just a little too late to be working on legacy, buddy, Sometimes things are solidified. I mean, it's never too late to change. But you know, you gotta change yourself, right, I would think, So, go do some work on yourself,
my brother, Go find some healing. Become a better person. That's the that's the you should that's how you leave better legacy. Kelvin all Right, Nick Cannon has tested positive for COVID, so now Nisi Nash will fill in for him as the masked singer host until he can return to the show. So the mass singer does return this week, and I guess, uh yeah, that's gonna be happening now until he's negative he's sick. I hope you I mean,
I hope he's not sick, he ain't symptomatic. Like what what does it mean when people because I hear these things like, oh, Michaels grehand tested probably for COVID. Nick can tell the poly for COVID, A body's sick, well, who knows, but you might just know because you got tested. You could have mild symptoms, asymptomatic. But obviously when you're filming things right now, you do have to get tested. So a lot of people get tested and that's how they even find out. And we don't know how it
affects anybody's body. Everybody finally affects it. Oh yeah, yeah, because Nick, do have um what don't it got lupus? I think no, don't quote me on that. I think guys have something something. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're right, all right. Floyd Mayweather wants to fight fifty cent and an exhibition fight, and he was talking to a radio show and here's what he had to say. This is anybody that could get fifty in the ring and a celebrity boxing match, basically,
anybody you really want to punch in the face. I don't think I could make weight though. I don't think if I con get down, if I could get down that or he could just let me not have to get down on one sifty all right now, Floyd said, I also heard the fifty cent would fight me, but cleans I'm too small. If he wants to face up at the end of the year, we can do an exhibition. Then I don't care about weight class with any of
these guys. The Paul Brothers will make great money with the events, but with fifty cent, it has to be winner. It takes all now. Fifty has already responded on social media. He said the fight is off because Floyd can't read two paragraphs of my New York Times bestseller Hustle Harder, Hustle smarter on IG Live. He just doesn't stop. He does not all right now, another fight news. Lamar Odom is set to fight Aaron Carter in a celebrity boxing
match and that's going to be happening in June. He wasn't me a backstreet boy it's a brother of a back boy. Aaron Carter is the brother of Nick Is the Backstreet boy. Yes, is a brother. Why do we know Aaron? And I know Aaron? Why do I know to record when we put out a single? Artists also and anyone a little you know, a little off the gridful a little bit. I think he was on crack two. I wouldn't even to say that, Bud. Yeah, he was
a little off the gridful little thing. I think I'm making something up, but I think I thought, I know something alleged. Yeah, I feel like he had to go to rehab. Yeah. I think Lamar went now, Lamarsha went now. Hell yeah, Lamar Sha win that one. Yeah, because I mean it's not like either one of them or boxers. You know, we got mad reaches like the street Fighter game with the guy with the low gas. Yeah, but if Aaron Carter was a boxer, then you know, that's
a different ballgame. We saw that with Nate Robinson and uh Jake Paul whatever the Paul was. You know, I mean everybody Robins the athletic, but no Jake Paul has actual experience in the ring. Being in Neither one of them have experienced in the ring. Lamar, Now, I'm gonna give you this because when he went to rehab, it was for when he went to rehab, it was actually for opioid addiction. But Lamar Oldham is six foot ten. Aaron Carter is six foot one out there, that's what
it says here. I didn't make it out. I was how do you know? I was on a flight with him and I see it how totally was. He's not six He's definitely not that tall. He's not told him. He's just mad he's taller than you. He's not told I'm six foot. He's not told me. All I know is Lamar that one. It's gonna be a heavy breathing contest, all right, They're gonna both be out of breath after forty five seconds. But Lamar old him should win that one. Well, it'll be an Atlantic City on June twelfth, so I
know we have our own day there. Maybe we should go winch Between Floyd and fifty, I would have to say Floyd Boxer gloves the Golden Gloves. Yeah, but Floyd, I think you know, Floyd is a he's been doing it different more. I think, yeah, it's a different level. That's his life. But they're both in shape. Like you said, fifties of boxer, he's strong. I'm sure fifty stronger. I would think Floyd's conditioning is better, but we're not doing Floyd is probably faster though. Oh we'll talk about it.
We gotta go to break all right, we're syndicated. All right, that is your rum report. Last thing I don't I just don't think fifty stuff looks. I don't think he'll fight fair. I really don't think you'll grab Floyd and they'd be wrestling. I really just knock them down. That would be incredible. All right. What we got from a pace was next, yes, and find out what state is actually abolishing the death penalty. All right, we'll get into that. Next is to Breakfast Global Motor Holding. Everybody a j
n V and yee Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Good morning, not super Bowl weekend? You guys excited, don't It doesn't feel like it's Super Bowl weekend. Usually. I feel like there's a lot more going on. You know what the big deal this would be if you could actually if everything was open and Tampa with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers playing, it would be the biggest deal. I feel like it's still a big deal to me.
That's it. I don't know that as big as it could be, though, because it's usually such so many different things going on, so many events, everybody's out there. It's just not you know, a bunch of parties and all types of stuff. I see a bunch of events going on. I see the usual suspects hosting parties, the trade songs and the fabulous is and the jezs and parties. But the thing is that usually is a lot more than that. It's usually everybody's out there and like fifty parties at night.
It's crazy. But this time it's not. I don't know. Over the press, I don't, I don't know. But anyway, a pandemic is going on too, right, you know, it is as what we're saying. But that's why it's not the same. It is all over the press. I mean, but I watch ESPN all this all right, Well let's get some front page, dudes. But the Virginia sent it passed a bill yesterday that would abolish a death penalty,
and that's a major policy change in Virginia. And then you went to college there, so you know, what that is. And Virginia has actually led the nation and the number of executions it has carried out. So they have voted now to do that. I'm shocked about. I've never believed in the death penalty. I wouldn't say that. Yeah, I don't know, I haven't. I just don't. I don't believe that. You can't because first of all, they've made a lot of mistakes and that's not anything you can ever take back.
But if it's known, like if somebody kills my kids or kills my family members out of just cold blood, they should die. I mean, it is something very cruel about the death community though, Like who are you to make that decision on something? Right, I wouldn't want to be the person to kill someone either, make that decision on you go to jail for life, his life. Nah, but that jail ain't ain't. I'd rather you die. You know, people in jail, they're still doing challenges on their phones.
In jail, they're still eating out everybody about casting nova. You say anything, No, you see got studios not the majority of people in prisoner well no not if you're not. If you not, if you killed someone and you're on death, well if you kill one of my family members, I want you, Daddy, take it out. I want you to. I want you to live in jail forever and suffer. I'm telling you doing life in jail and you don't know what's happening to that, butthole in jail, you might.
That might be worse than actual death, and it might be a good tool for soon. Sounds personal, all right. Now, let's talk about the Super Bowl. Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Pastrick Mahomes was among twenty people who was about to get a haircut from a barber who tested positive for COVID on Sunday. Now, the barber was removed as soon as his test came back positive. He already had started
shaving some people's hair. So they are going to have to be on quarantine and test negative and they could perhaps play in the Super Bowl still on Sunday if they continue to test negative. But you know, they said he had five negative tests before he tested positive. I can promise you if Patrick Mahone test positive for COVID, he'll be in the Super Bowl on Sunday. They will keep that so far, they wouldn't, but he didn't. He didn't end up getting a haircut. He was supposed to
get one, even if he think people did. But does that make sense? Though, you get tested and they let you cut into the test, come back and they'd be like, oh whoa wha, Like, doesn't it make sense? I thought, usually you gotta sit on the side and went till your test comes back. Well, he tested negative on five consecutive days before he even came to the facility. But you know, sometimes you test negative and it doesn't show up for up to a week. So who did he shave?
Shave other players? Yeah, two of them. It's amazing. How knows this been information now? But didn't know when she came back from Dame she fell. I mean, but that's true for everybody. You could come home at quarant You could come home in quarantine for four days and still have it seven days later. Tried to tell you, tried to tell you what I'm saying. That's what y'all did. You team for four days and then came back in the studio. Huh, No, I quarantine for the week. I
didn't come for full seven days. And then people are doing podcasts with other people you don't know if they're positive or negative and coming in the studio. The thing is you can only you could only do what you do. You know what I'm saying, And there's no way that you can prevent it's not a fullproof way at all. Period. Did I did a podcast with my flip you see she just flipped this. I mean, it's true truth. She's always simply saying that we're happy that you understand the
quarantine rules. Now that's all we're saying. I'm just explaining what happened. He was there. You know, he did do some haircuts. Even with the NFL, with their restrictions, he still cut two people's hair. I wonder if they were players, she said, are you listening? But that goes proves Mama's not. They didn't tell us who the players were, so they did who the players are? Who are they? The players are Daniel Kilgore and to Marcus Robinson. But they shouldn't
be players on data. No, they have to test negative, but they're considered high risk close contact. But they're saying if they continue to test negative, they can still play. M got you, Okay, all right? So neither of them have tested positive yet and if they continue to test negative, they'll be though still seven days now that's what I'm
saying and not supposed to. But this is well, it was on This happened on Saturday, will be a week yeah, okay, all right, well that is your front page news all right now when we come back, Master, people will be joining us. We're gonna kick him a masterpiece. They don't move. It's to Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. You're kicking out the world's most agious morning show. Wanting everybody is cej Envy and Ngelau yee, Charlomagne the guy. We
are the Breakfast Club. We got a special guest and friends to the room and he's been here so many times. He's part of the day and Breakfast Club babies and gentlemen, Master Pea, what's up, y'all? What's up? We see all the products already, Oh Andrew love being. So many people doubted me. Nobody was preparing for this pandemic twenty twenty one. And that's why I keep telling people ownership. I know being a boss is not for everybody, but product always
down and let's talk. Let's start the sneaker game. Now. Yes, we were in talks to purchase Rebok the how is that going in what made you want to purchase Reboke. Let's talk about how that came to play. Well, we don't realize that we can acquire these major companies, and Hyde Cave is about to educate myself financially and knowing that I can't go out in a quality these companies, put the right teams together. I'm in a process of the deal right now, but like I say, that's only
one of many deals. If the deal go through, this will be the first time Rebok or be black on any major tennis ship company. And what I want to teach this generation is about I was able to do that because the bank acquired debt and so they buy products that you could buy into the debt and I want to teach that to the next generation. I want to teach that to my peers and also putting the right partners and teams together today able to approve a two billion dollars check because once you do this deal
that we have to have the money. So just me and my partner James Lanza, We're always about trying to find new deals and to be a part of something that we can give back to our community, because the more we make, the more and give so I feel like this is a blessing. If this deal go through, it's going to be a game change. Don't stop the deal from going through. If anything, well, you have other people having opportunities at the deal, so us getting to
see at the table is just incredible. But they have to accept the office. So it's other people that have offers to So that's what I'm saying. This is only one deal to many. We've got so many other deals out there, and that's what being entrepreneur is all about. It would be a better look for Rebox to let a investment group that's black in diverse purchase as opposed to just giving it to another white man. Yes, and
exactly right. And I think that we have to support and appreciate each other knowing that we're constantly growing like I've never lived the perfect, Like God spare my life, and it's all about doing better growing And I'm you know, I feel like my purpose is to help this generation, you know, to help the culture in my pio see that we could do deals of this magnitude and it is not impossible. Before you move on, I was want to know who else is on the team. I know,
I think I seen Baron Davis is with you? Who is anybody else? Niggause? I would as soon as I heard Rebok, I was like, Dan, that'd be dope if Obvis in the shot came along. But I reached out the shock. So, uh, if we could put him a part of this, this would be incredible because he was a part of Reboke or Alan Novice and we definitely want to give him his flog was in this and celebrating him in this and give him, I mean a major piece of this inequality. So he deserved that. Every
everybody else a bus the financial people. This is almost there. So if y'all we don't know real soon you know, we had a conversation the other day about supporting black owned businesses and for yourself as a black owned business owner multiple businesses, do you feel like we're harder on our own kind than we are of other brands? And do you feel like people support your businesses black people? I feel like it's a lot of self hat but
I think that we are breaking through those barriers. So we're starting to realize how we're gonna put economic empowerment and tower communities. It's somebody that look like us don't own anything. We are strongly together. We are trillion dollars spending culture, but none of us have been and we have to change that narrative. So I think it's all about letting people know that we can do this together.
And it's not just about me. It's about creating thousands of master peace and have thousands of them at the table, multime millionaires and bigger. Because when I go into these grocery stores, does nobody look like me with products? And so I'm saying right now that we are opening these doors to where it's thousands of us next. We don't just have to look at a diversity. It's about having
just great product. And I think we have to trust the process with us, like allowing us to get better without products, because you know what, Charlotte Mannen, we first talked, we talked about to shoot what we did, we got better, and we also push each other. But we do have to support each other because they support each other. They like, you know what, I would rather do business with a white guy that I don't like, didn't do business with one of us. And we don't look at it like that.
We like we lived the keypin lifestyle to where we only want to be at the top by ourself and we look down on everybody else. So we have to change that inteli. But it's gonna come through education. It's gonna come with us being patient with each other, and it's gonna come with one of us thinking outside the box. So we look at mart Luca Key, mart Luca Key
for civil rights and freedom. I feel like right now what my purpose is is is letting us know that this economic empowerment is the way we change the game and change the narrative. You know, Pee, I saw you say that in regard to the clubhouse as well, and I agree with But there's some people who will say, well, I'm black and I have some equity and clubhouse, what would you say to the how much you know what I'm saying, Is it really gonna make a difference. So
that's what I'm saying. You're gonna get a big check, but how can you help anybody else because you don't own that. But the thing about I want people to realize the clubhouse statement that I made is not nothing against clubhouse. We don't even know who the owner clubhouses. I've never seen them to an interview. This guy has a billion dollars evaluation company because of us. But the guy who started Clubhouse is Paul Davis, but we don't
know that, so we can't hold him accountable. If I had Clubhouse and now my business is evaluating that a billion dollars, everybody would be looking for me to give something. We don't hold him accoumonable. We be like, no, but there's just another guy that got rich. Let's move on. That's what I'm saying. We have to change. And it's not about a black or white thing. It's a human thing.
The guy who created Clubhouse is a genius. We have to start thinking bigger like that create things and technology, creating product that we can put back into our coach and our community. I'm talking about financial wise because right now, like you said, if somebody have a little equity, let me just saying Amrican American, those stocks are being eluded. So when you look at us, we have to change that narrative. We're getting a small little piece, but the
big portion. So think about this, yall man. If that company is invaluated at a billion dollars and it only have a million subscribers on them, so what do you think that is evaluated in the stock world. In the stock world, that evaluation is a hundred building. So that's what you don't have to look at. And that's what they're doing. We're just looking at the small piece of the game, and I'm saying, no, let us look at the bigger piece. And that's how we changed that. Because
I'm happy for the guy who created a clubhouse. But what I'm saying to us, our coaching, the ones that marketing and promoted that we're not getting our just because a percent of that company was marketed by us. All Right, we got more with master P when we come back, don't move. It's to Breakfast Club Morning. I got morning. Everybody in cj Envy, Angela, Yee, Charlomagne, the guy we are the Breakfast Club was still kicking it with master P.
Now I seen you kicking it with Richard Pattison. Most people don't know he was a designer for Tesla and created his own company. Now are you investing or were you just giving him as flowers? So let me tell you how that happened. Me and my son Romeo, we have a TV show on YouTube and I go out in enlightened small business and market their product. I never knew that this guy existed. I don't think a lot
of other people realize that this guy exist. This guy that did all his work for Tesla and I created his own car, which this guy's a genius. When me and Romeo got there, I've never seen nothing like that. I'm like, you know what, this guy got a tent. So if you get a tent on my show, I'm willing to invest. So Me, Romano and James lindsay, we all invested into this new brand, which these cars are expensive, but these are supercars a women in dollars to yes.
But the next goal round is affordable electric cars. So that's what we look in that to be a part of that, to help him take that to the next level. So and and there's so many other business that's out there that we are finding through the show master people views dot com. So we're like, we want to support these other brands. How does how does master p identify a good business opportunity? Well, somebody have to be willing to invest in a self, put some skin in the game,
and love and believe and what they're doing. And I passionate nobody. You know, when somebody believe in what they have I know that they're going to be successful, and that's when I want to be a part of. It's interesting that you talk about investing into people too, and because I think going back to Clubhouse, it is harder. There might be somebody who had a similar idea or something like that, but it's not on that level because
of investment. Because you think about a lot of these people in these positions where they're able to just get around of investing, or get something from family members, or they just have money themselves to invest, and that is another barrier. I feel like we're facing. Yes, you know, but that's that's the sad barrier that we are facing. Because the guy who owned Clubhouse, he was able to get twelve million dollars startup coming. I looked at how
can we change that narrative? How can we get heads funds to invest in us and me? And James has created one hundred million dollars heads Fund just to invest in small business like us to say, people with great ideas. We want to be able to put money back into our community and our cult and all the great ideas that we have. But those guys do this like the staffing of Finger, the guy who has cooked dollars. I mean they're looking for two million dollars. Like we got
to stop thinking like that, Like we got to change that. Natal. I want to grab people like that and say look, not this is only and not think about black business. So when I talk about black business, I want black ownership. But we have to create our business to reach everybody the way they do. I like cook House Bella, to be honest with you, I like everything about it. The only thing that I don't agree with listen, not just
limited to blacks. This take Cookhouse and turning into the massive the whole world, but be owned by us, and those the type of things I want to help our coaches see. And so that's why I went for the Rebose deal. I say, you know what, Yeah, I want to be able to be a part of the bigger picture. And that's the only way we're going to take away the Probably the crime in our community is people are frustrated.
People are dying young. You look at right now in the hip hop industry, we're dying young because we really not real we want to be at and so we're killing each other. And so we have to change it. The Only way we're going to change that issue economic empowerment. You know, we get in the streets, we march, we did all this stuff, but we had no plane was the plan of action. In the plan of action issue economic empowerment. And I think we're also scared, like you
said about failing forward. But for some people, they put all their money and finances into something and failure can't be an option because that might be you know, some people can go ahead and fail and then just get another loan from the bank. But then other people are like, I already raised money, do my goal fund me from my family members. If this doesn't work out, what am I gonna do? And it's so it's harder because of
that too, I feel. So, you know, what's successive success is being consistent, and people don't realize you just have to keep going, keep going, even when they hate to stop. You said negative things that they're not they don't like the product, they don't like you. You have to keep going. It's about consistent, you know, you can't worry about the naysays. I mean for me, that few of me, everybody that
set can do something. Think about everybody that just depended on the music industry, the entertainment and this pandemic has shoulder. When that shut down, nobody can do no shows. Nobody can. So now the money has shut down in hip hop. But for me, I kept going. You know, so when I look at even the noodles to create noodles, it's like we've been buying this forever. This is a multi billion dollars business, but we don't control none of this is because all we do is buy. None of us
never thought about owning something like this. And I said to myself, this, we're gonna be able to change the game. We just got Rick Ross or Google. So we got a Rick Ross and Louis coming and we just keep getting better. And I just hope that the culture trust the process and let us grow so we'll be able to take care of us instead of sitting around waiting for somebody giving us an opportunity. You know, I tell my kids, go out and take your opportunity. Don't sit around.
Don't just think because you master piece, son of master piece daughter, you know you got to work even harder either. What I love about my kids, both of my sons played basketball. One of the ninth grade, one of the twelfth grade. It's about to get ready to go to college. But what I love that? He sasaid, what makes you go so hard? He like a killer on the court. He said, Yeah, I gotta protect my family name. And that's what makes me probably what I love a student.
So I'm teaching my kids how to be educated in the importance of education, in importance of with you over money, because I can lose money all the time. Anybody could lose mangle. When you got a billion dollars worth of knowledge, you're gonna keep getting up. Now, what can people do to make sure that that they have a lot of your brands in these stores? So, I know making the brands is difficult, but also getting into these stores it's
also difficult. So how to make sure people come and support you that you know, we can see five who Who's and stop some shop or BJ's or Sam's Club or Costco. Like, how do we make sure that we can see these brands in the different stores? Yeah, you know what, just go and ask for it. People start asking for my products. They start asking for the fish fride now be coming with chicken fry. They start asking for it in pro and then crog has called us to get it in. They start asking for the Walmart.
Keep doing that. I appreciate y'all to support. They start going into the seventy levels, they start going into the mommy pop stores, and that just made them have to start buying our product because our product is bringing them our culture into these stories and they're buying other products. And I think that's the great thing about this that when we go and support each other, because for us, the more we make the movie give you know my mission with this, this is temporary success. You can't take
this with you. And I feel like while I'm here, I want to make an implant on this world. But I do want to be able to pass down generation of wealth because we've never done them. We come from a poor culture. And thanks for everybody that's going into the stores. We're about supporting the youth for education, and we're about supporting the elderly, feeding the elderly. So that's where my passion and my heart is. So yeah, the more we make the movie get by a brand, we
put money back into the community. All Right, We got more with Master people. When we come back, don't move. Let's get into a masterp Mini mix is to breakfast Club, Good Morning Morning. Everybody is CJ. Envy Angela yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the breakfast club. We have master P in the building, a P. You know. I want to ask you when it comes to ownership, does one hundred percent ownership matter? Like if Kellogg said, we want to partner with up on your HOODI whose serial, but
we want forty percent ownership for forty nine percent? Would you do that? Yeah? Because if I can own fifty one percent and we could get this in a more places than you know, that's being able to control the narrative. For us to make this reach the masses, We're gonna have to do some type of distribution with somebody the longest we can control what I probably can do, and that's what my mindset is. And have the majority of the ownership in business. So you're gonna have to bring
other people to the table to make this bigger. Yeah. I don't think some people understand that because people talk about ownership ownership, but it's like you you can own one hundred percent of nothing. Yeah, you know what in one hundred percent of nothing, that mean you has nothing? But fifty one percent of a trillion dollars is what? And that's what we got to think change that mindset.
But also being a boss is not for everybody's shoulders. Man, So I'm not telling everybody out there that you have to own a company and be a boss, because you do need workers. But with every company is like a car. You got to start. You're like the engine, you got the battery, you got all these different pieces. So everybody could be a leader in that system. And I tell everybody everybody don't have to get the forefront, so just be a part of the team and play your role,
because some people don't like to play the role. So being a boss and being an owner of a company, you got to make decisions. You gotta make sure people have stuff before you. You have to take care of everybody that's on your team. Absolutely, And a lot of people also have these companies to sell them too. People will build the suffer company with the intention of and it gets to this point and it's worth this much money, I'm selling it and I'm gonna take that money and
invest in some more things. And nothing is wrong with that. Having the plan to act. When you when you talk about the Master peer review show on YouTube, do businesses have to be at a certain stage of development before you review. No, you just have to have finished product. And how can they know? How can they get in contact you? I might have to be on an episode of that. Yes, you know what, I need you. I need you to be a genie on my episode for real, Like I need you. So we're gonna hook that up.
But how do you get in contact with us? But they product go to master people reviews dot com and send a product. Get all right? I got one last question for Pete pepe is one last question? What are some of the risks that people don't see in regard to you being an entrepreneur. People don't see the risk that you can lose it all. People don't see you're gonna lose sleep. I go to bed late. I get up at five o'clock in the morning. Everybody has twenty
four hours. If you don't invest your time wisely, you're gonna lose at this. If you don't invest your money wisely, you're gonna lose. You are your most important investment. And when you take the risk investing people all because the people is what's gonna drive. Like if you look at with me, you talk about no limit to talk about people of enterprises. I created an enterprise because I drive the ship and I'm not afraid to feel so and
I'm not afraid to take risks. And so the most important thing is have a purpose, Like don't do nothing for money. A lot of people get into thanks for money. I say, your character is built on integrity. So if you don't have integrity, you're gonna be taking all kinds of risks to do anything because you just want to fail build. I turned down money. I had to let friends go, as to let family members go, not all
my life, just out of my business. So that's risks you take to losing people that love and care about. But everybody is not to be a part of the business journey. And like I said, having a purpose is gonna outweigh the risk because no matter how long it take, how to risk it. Look that one time payoffs is gonna change what you thought. That hurted a thousand times. The guy that created a light bulb he feels a thousand times. The guy that created Google, the guy that
created Amazon, those guys feel so many times. Meet myself, I feel so many times before No Limits sold a hundred million records. So don't be afraid to take that risk. But normal When you're taking that risk, you're gambling on your future, you know, because most people would reputating it easy with But don't be afraid to be uncomfortable because being uncomfortable is what's gonna change your life. Indiction to your dreams and your goals. And people always think you
should get up and we're about success. No, you should let success company get out and do what you love to do. In success will come. People will follow you for your talent every day. I mean I live life thinking that as a blessing, go or let me wake up in the morning, I got another chance to breed, to walk this earth, that I'm going to figure out something. So I mean, if you could get past that, it's the little things and so everybody a way to talk
about our love and being happy. You have to make yourself happy to put somebody else to make it happy. So that's what I do in my business. I say, no, what this is all about me? In the end. This is what people don't remember when when you go back Charlotte Magne and say, you know what. Master pe created a multi billion dollars shoe company. Master Pea created a multi billion dollars product food grocery store products and put
their own shelves where it was diversity. When nobody thought that we could do this, they did this in the nineteen sixties, in the nineteen seventy. While we can't create products and be able to put it on grocery store shelves, that's because the Americans in the twenty percent. So I just think I think we the power of words. We knock ourselves out the game because we're afraid and we already you know, like I said, we already tell ourselves that we can't hit a home run, but we don't
even swing at the ball. So I tell people all I'll just get up to swing. So that's the risk I'm gonna take. Every time I'm gonna swing, I'm gonna knock something out compartment. Even like I close my eyes, I'm gonna hit something because I'm gonna keep swinging, right,
I said one last thing I wanted to say. Last time you were on the show in person, we talked about people being critical of things not being so healthy, and I see you've been working out every single day, So are you thinking about some health conscious things and lower sodium? Because I remember you said people were like, oh, well, this has sought in it. Yeah, so you know what, that's what I've been doing. I'm definitely on my health keep and we have to trust the process that is coming.
But it's even harder to get those products into the stores. So we're working on that now. And that's what I tell people all the time. Yeah, we of it. We've been creating a product for these different reasons, and I think that God has blessed us and we're gonna be able to put out product in the future for everybody that want to eat healthy to word, well, thank you Pee for checking in. We appreciate you and good luck with everything. She's filling the team. This is the rumor
report with Angela Yee on the Breakfast Club. So recently, Serena Williams did an interview on Shape forty five as Serious, and she talked about people basically being rude to her and even booing her and Venus Williams. This is to what she said, even when my sister was playing, I could tell when she would win points and when she would lose because the crowd would be really loud if
she lost the point. Also, the same obviously applied to me and I had to make people realize that, you know, it's okay to be black and to play tennis, and it's okay to be good at it and to be bad or that's kind of something I had to lean into myself and realize that it wasn't me, It wasn't anything to do with me. It was just that I had to force people to see me because of my game and let my game do the speaking, and I
had to be comfortable with that. Yeah, they still weren't never gonna like Serena because she's just too damn good. You know what I'm saying. You're a black woman dominating a sport like tennis. Come on, it never gonna like Serena's and Vina Venus Venus. Yeah, all right. Now. Michelle Obama is releasing a new edition of her memoir Becoming,
and that's going to be for young readers. She posted on Instagram that my hope is that young readers edition of Becoming can serve as a conversation starter for you, maybe to open up new dialogues with your children or grandchildren. Maybe you can use it as an opportunity to begin a book club. But the young people you know are use it as an excuse to invite them into your existing book club. So what did it changes? How is
it for young readers? What are they going to Well, it's adapted for kids ten and older, so it has a special intro for kids that's written by her, as well as three color photo inserts and a new paperback and young reader's edition. So a lot of times people do that when they have a you know, a memoir or a book, and they'll just make it for younger adults to read too. Yeah, Becoming book as long as hell. I read Becoming Book on the way to uh South Africa when it came out. We're here was a couple
years ago, tween nineteen, I think, ye. Yeah, And I went to go see Michelle Obama when she did her Becoming tour at the Barclays too, So that's how. But it was great inspiring, So I think that's a great idea now coming to America. They put out a new trailer for that. There's more information on that, and that's going to be on Amazon Prime Video next month. Well
here is what that new trailer sounds like. I've just discovered that I may have a son here in the slash Tom and show support she getting from the king pays no child support for thirty years and you're paying use a dumm? Hello, I keem hanging upon? Moved down? How the throat? Yeah? Five? He's supposed to be like the Prince of Hukanda. Kanda is a fictional place. It's a very real niue. I feel like I'm being robbed. Man. I wanted the whole experience of being able to go
to the theaters to see Coming to America. The movie theaters and everybody would have been dressed up like like we were for Black Panther. Did you see it? I got it, but I haven't watched it. And they send a lot of special guests. A lot of special guests are there? Is it good? Did they send y'all those sexual chocolates? Actually made some sexual chocolates to send out and get those sexual chocolates? All right, y'all rule away. I can't ask you that. I ask you a simple question,
Roger Ebert, Is it good? Thumbs up? Thumbs down? I'm not giving nothing away. Wow, you can't say if the movie is good when I asked nothing about the movie. I don't want to. I want people to see it. I'm coming to America. Fan, that is my favorite movie. You say, I want to say nothing. I want people to see it for itself. What's good and a lot of special surprises. That's my favorite movie of all time. I was excited. Me and the wife watched it over
the weekend for her birthday. We were both excited. I want the people to be excited just like me and see is it better than a bachelor? Is it true that Chadwick Bowseman and sure he show up because they y'all thought what KNDU was fake? Is that true? At the end I heard that. I can't tell. Damn, I'm about to get away too much. All right now? Ja Rule has completed his Harvard Business Program on entrepreneurship and he's posted about it, dropping a clues bunx with Ja Rule.
That's what I'm talking about, right? What are you talking about? They posted, I ain't the sharpest knife in the jew But and then he posted his Harvard Business School online certification. Y'all gonna stop fronting on Ja Rule. You hear me? Ja Rules a Harvard graduate. Now, okay, so if y'all thought, if y'all cared about what he thought before, now y'all gonna really all right, all right, well, congratulations to Ja
Rule man July. Yeah, that's randomly. I was talking to Nori one day and Job called and then we go with three way talking. It was just the oddest call and at the oddest time other than fifty cent. How can you not like Ja Rule? Okay, I just totally understand why fifty doesn't like Job, But how can you not like Job? No, I gotta like Jo. Was a great conversation. We so about all types of thing. Just was just a weird call. Just I don't know. But anyway, shout the Nori, shout the Job, shot the n O.
All right, well, who are you giving your donkey? We need breath fall to come to the front of the carregation. We'd like to have a world with him place. All right, we'll get into that next. It's the breakfast Club. Good morning, it's time for Donkey of the Day. I'm a Democrat, so being Dunky of the day a little bit of a mixed up, so like a Donkey o the day. Now, I've been called a lot in my twenty three years, but Donkey of the Day is a new wife. Yeah,
it's Donkey of the Day for Thursday. February fourth goes to Brett Farve. Okay, let's start over. You're ready now, hold on, okay, donk here today for Thursday, February fourth goes to Brett Farve. That's right, Brett Favre. Okay, you know either people don't know, don't show it, don't give a damn about their own hypocrisy. Okay, because Brett Favre yesterday was the pot calling the kettle black. And it doesn't help that the kettle he was talking about was
a black man, a black quarterback. But this isn't about race, okay, this is about hypocrisy and Wrangler Wrangler jeans. Okay. Now, don't get me wrong. Everyone at some point in life has been a hypocrite. You will not leave this planet without being a hypocrite. It happens to the best of us. And listen, I'm not even a posed the folks changing
their minds. You should be allowed to do that, but you have to acknowledge that your stance has changed, because when it comes out of the left cornfield on attractive with some Wrangler Jeans on in a mad the endorsement,
then you will probably be called on it. And that's where we are this morning because Brett Favre was on with y'all who Sports and he was interviewing with a young lady named Minty Bets, and he was asked about Houston Texans quarterback the Shawn Watson, who officially requested a trade from the Texans less than six months after signing a four year contract extension worth one hundred and sixty
million dollars. Dropping the clues bons for de Shaun Watson man good brugging he was on a breakfast a couple few weeks ago. Now, we y'all know trade requests have been happening in all sports since forever. Okay, it's a number of reasons folks want to be traded. Usually it's because they're not happy. The reason they usually aren't happy is because the team they are on constantly loses. If the team they are playing for isn't making any moves to build up the team and put real talent around
the star player, they want to be out. I'm not mad at it, but Brett Favre has a different take than me. Let's go to y'all who Sports for the report police. When I am a league, it was almost unheard of for a player to the mad and basically anything. I'm kind of old school. I think you get paid a ton of money to do a certain job and just do it. Let the chips fall where they may. I think we make too much Funey to voice opinion, but I'm not saying he's wrong again. I think it's
a different day in time. I think we make too much money to voice an opinion. We should just play and let the chips fall where they may. Let's unpack this, as my therapist says, what does that even mean? Okay, I think we make too much money to voice an opinion. The fact that a person makes that much money is all the reason they should have an opinion. He's the franchise quarterback. They should ask him about any decisions in regard to the team players. Coaches. Ain't no letting the
chips fall where they may. When you the franchise player. If I'm the franchise player, I should be able to voice my opinion about the franchise. I want to win, and when you want to win, you ask for certain things. Brett Farf that you let the chips fall where they made when you requested a trade in two thousand and seven, listen Brett, I'm talking to you. Okay, stop playing backyard football with your dog for a second and listen to me.
Did you let the chips fall where they made when you requested the trade from the Green Bay Packers in two thousand and seven. Would you like to know why Brett Favre requested the trade because Brett Farve was reportedly upset the Packers were unwilling to trade a fifth round pick to acquire Randy Moss, who Brett had recruited during that offseason. I would be mad at that too, by the way, because because that was the year Randy Moss got traded to the Patriots when he caught an NFL
record twenty three touchdowns in two thousand and seven. Okay, why helping the Patriots go undefeated and make it all the way to the Super Bowl before they lost to some bumbass team I can't even remember the name. But why didn't they make the deal for Randy Moss? Only God knows. But my point is Brett Farve is a hill billy ass hypocrite. How can you chastise someone for requesting the trade when you did the same exact thing
in two thous seven. By the way, Brett fav made eleven point eight million dollars, eleven million in base salary, eight hundred thousand in bonuses. How many of y'all out there have ever made almost twelve million dollars in a year. How many of y'all out there have ever almost made twelve million dollars in your life? Forget forget the eleven million, what about the point eight How many of y'all out
there make it eight hundred thousand dollars a year? Okay, there's almost twelve million dollars a year qualified for the I think we make too much money to voice an opinion theory. Because that didn't stop you, Brett. I'm really asking for a friend that doesn't wear wranglers. Make it make sense? Okay? This reminds me of a quote I heard before, and that quote is one should examine oneself for a very long time before thinking of condemning us.
As Brett. I know you're comfortable in jeans that are tough. I know you're comfortable in jeans that will last. I know you're comfortable in wrangler, but you should not be comfortable throwing stones and glass farmhouse. Please let Brett father give, Please let me Mark get Brett Favre the biggest he haw he haw he haa. You're stupid, mother Farre. You dumb all right now, I know you're wondering where bad
to the bone just came from. You know, you gotta be an uncle of Auntie to remember these type of things. Play it. I'm comfortable on jeans that are tough. I'm comfortable on jeans that last. I'm comfortable and ranger. That's right. You gotta be an uncle of Auntie to remember those type of things. Okay, are you talking like that? Did you ever wear wranglers? Father never made you wear wranglers? Yeah? I wonder who are the people that wore wranglers because
of Brett Farve, White people. Rett Favre had to be white people. Right, I'm sure you won't like your ball, right, I bet you. It was so much wranglers on the Capitol Building on January. I guarantee you that if you did a survey, ninety five percent of those people had on wrangler jeans. Bro I'm sure there was a lot of wranglers out there. All right, Well, thank you for that donkey to day now when we come back, ask ye eight hundred five eighty five one on five one.
If you got a question for you you need relationship advice? Hitter. Now it's the Breakfast Local Morning, the Breakfast Club. Come on, need relationship advice, need personal advice, just the real advice. Call up nown for asking morning. Everybody, Iss DJ NVD, Angela, Yandy, Charlomine, the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. It's time for asking me. Hello. Who's this little morning? This is Famara, Good morning. Question for you? Good morning guys. Oh, I'm
just saying I just want to thank you guys. It's a clasure to speak with you. This is my first time they ever get to speak with you. Guys, that pleasure to speak to you. Tamara, thank you. I'm from Crazy Doo Wall Lord, have mercy. I'm praying for you, the crazy one. I'm not the crazy one. So I mean with my boyfriend slash baby Daddy for fifteen years. We're high school heard and um we had a eight year old fun together. He's spent him prison for several years,
so I raised our fun by myself. He's been home for the last two years, but it's been really crazy. Um. I asked him with the attracted the guys and broke up. So, so you ended up getting a girlfriend. Got he met this girl from Georgia. He moved her here. He ended up getting her pregnant and all, and he broke up with her. She lost the baby and everything. But I just don't know if I should stay in this relationship or should I move on because he gives me mixed messages. Okay,
so a couple of things here. So he broke up with this girlfriend, came back to you, you took him back. Yeah, And I was asking me if he likes men? Why what makes you think he likes men? Well, because because he had the prison, so you know, I just always hearing guys. So the president is Bill be Gay. So I just wanted to ask that wasn't, honestly the deal break. She wouldn't have been a deal breaker. I just wanted to know, Like, I love this man regardless, but I
just wanted to know, but to marry. There's no reason you think. You just think just any guy who goes to prison likes men. That's what I hear. I mean, there's no other reason that you think that other than that's what you hear. I mean, Honestly, I've had other reasons as well pass okay, Um, like what I want
to see what these reasons are? Okay? Like one time, like alone time ago a woman like nineteen, he had a he I found a text mess in his phone, um that he was thinking, uh, you know, a day guy, and he made it seem like he was gonna meet this guy at the hotel to walk him. And you know at the time kind of did stuff like that. So I thought that, you know, that was true, but I don't. I don't think so the guys he was in prison with, like the guys send him a pickture
of himself. I mean he didn't tell him to like send it to anybody or anything. It was just your intuition is telling you that you think there's something up even before he went to prison. Then he went to prison. Then you've seen these pictures and you've seen him texting with that gay guy. But you feel like it might have been a setup to go rob him. That was his explanation, right. This is so Florida. This whole conversation is so Florida. You told me you wasn't crazy. All out,
he is crazy. But I swear I'm the only one in Jacksonville that's not crazy. I'm not like, you didn't even you didn't even lead. You didn't even lead with the fact that he was texting with another gay guy in that threason you thought he was gay. He was like, oh, you went to prison too many times? All right, So why did you take him back after he left and all of that happened. You're in love with him, you want to be with him, you want to marry him. What's going on? I do um. I still was honestly
with him when he was with the other girl. He never started miss oh my gosh, this is a mess, right, It was just more so I feel like the other girl was just more so to piss me off because he was mad that I asked him that question. And it's weary to me that he would get So did you ask him the question once or did you like harass him about it and ask multiple times? WHOA? I just asked him once, like, I was just like, be
honest with me. I want to ask you something, and he was like what And I was like, are you attracted to guys? And he just got mad. He's like, don't ever talk to me again. If it's not about our fun. I don't want to ever talk to you, and he hung up in my face. And he is working in Orlando, so I draw to Ourlando to try to talk to him, and he did not want to fall to me. Well, listen, the thing is, if he is, that's not something you can force somebody to talk about
before they're ready. All you can do is make him feel as comfortable as possible in knowing that he can share anything with you. And that's all you can do. You cannot force somebody and ask him a question and make them answer, especially if he hasn't come to terms with it himself. Right, right, But it sounds like aside from that, y'all got a weird relationship where in order to get revenge on you for asking him a question, he gets a whole other girl pregnant and gets in
another relationship. Then you went from the main check to the side check. Don't say that, because I think about that a lot, and I think about this situation a lie. I say I've got over it, but I don't feel like I have. I'll do petty some times and you don't say a little stuff, but I don't know, Like I really don't know, Like he says stuff to make me think that you know we're gonna be together, but thence again he do stuff and make me feel how we're not. It sounds like you'll have a lot more
to work on besides just you trying to figure out. Listen, if he has something that he wants to tell you, just make him let him know, because he's gonna be in your life regardless. You have a child together, So whether or not you guys are in a relationship, you have to deal with each other. Let him know anything he ever wants to tell you. You're fine with that. You can't just ask him and force him to tell
you something he's not ready to share. But I will say that it seems like there's other issues besides just that, And I don't know if it's stemming from him having this secret or not wanting you to know the rail him. I don't know where it stems from, but it feels like y'all need to get some professional help to be able to communicate with each other better so that you're
not doing petty things to each other. Because a tip for tat relationship, me trying to make you mad, jealous, me trying to do whether think that never works out, So you have to get to the root of that. All right, well, listen, let's pray for the best for her, and if you can to marriage, just hit me up on the side. We'll continue this conversation and try to help find you somebody that you guys can talk to. All right, eight hundred five eight five one oh five one.
You need relationship advice? Here now it's the Breakfast Club, Go morning. I'm gonna keep for real what you's some real advice with Angela Yee's ask ye wanting? Everybody is sej Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomgne, the guy we all the breakfast Club we're in the middle of ask ye Hello, who's this? Yeah? This as London, London Leonards. Hey, what's your question for ye? Okay? My question for ye is
my girlfriend recently broke up with me about two weeks ago. Right, but the whole trip for for Valentine's Day out the country, all inclusive, everything like that. And what I want to know is that should I still call her for her birthday and wish her a happy birthday even though he's had no context sens? So why did y'all break Why did she break up with you? She broke up with
me because we got into an argumentum. She accused me of hanging up the phone on her, which I tried to explain to her that I didn't, and from there it just kind of escalated into her saying that she needed space and she didn't think that I knew how to communicate with her effectively, and that now I'm just not the person that she wants to be with two weeks before her birthday and two weeks but it's but it has been the second time, the second time that
she has done something like this. I mean, do you want to call her for her birthday? I do, but it's like, I don't know if she deserves it, you know, because she hasn't old meter, you know, chuck on me and see how I'm doing. You know, through this breakup. You think y'all gonna get back together again. I don't think. So. She was very odomant about me not being the person for her, and I even asked her, I said, is there anything that I could do to make this work?
She told me no, So what would be your purpose in calling her for her birthday? Just to say happy birthday? Because you want to because you care? Because I do still care and I've never been put in a situation like this where you know where I didn't call someone for their birthday, So I think you overthink it. I think you're overthinking it. If you want to call somebody on their birthday and tell them happy birthday, go ahead. You can't think, well, she didn't call me, so I'm
not gonna call her like that's always petty. I always feel like you should go with your instinct, and if your gut is telling you I just want to call this person and tell a happy birthday, then do it. Sometimes you just think too hired about the implications. The whole thing is I want to call her and tell a happy birthday. Is that what you want to do? Yeah, then do it. And you just can't have any expectations. No, who cares You're not even together anymore, you haven't even spoken.
Who cares about looking stupid? You know? You just want to say happy birthday, and I would just wouldn't have any expectations. You can't say let's go out, but you can just say, hey, I just wanted to still call you and tell you happy birthday. You know obviously be were together. I do care about you, so happy birthday. Have a great you know celebration. Yeah, I guess that would be the mature thing to do. And I'm a Scorpio, so you know, I turn to like overtime over analyze things.
And then I'm like, yo, wow, you even get a full refund on this trip. I couldn't. But she's an Aquarius, so she's a little you know, the touched emotionally. I mean, it sucks, but what can you do? You know you have to cancel the trip. Well you're gonna go by yourself? No, I just canceled it. You know, Valentime's day weekend, so I definitely I don't want to go by myself, you know. And then I'm like, what if she's seeing someone else? And then I call her for her birthday and she's
with that person? You just over thinking that she won't answer, that's all, Okay, okay, okay, yeah, right, she's with somebody. She just won't answer. If she does answer, you know, y'all might still one day be friends. At one point you did care about her, It wasn't that long ago. Just don't have no expectations, that's all. If she doesn't answer, just in the text, like, hey just called you to say happy birthday. Help you enjoy your day, you know,
but thank you. I appreciate that. And now that I'm back on the market, you know, the ladies out there hall me. What's your Instagram? Harlem rock star? Harlem rock star with two rs? Okay, when she sat on the market, No, Charlom, listeners, I gotta get over this. I need her describe. So describe to the people what you look like a little snack on the side. All right, Well, you know, I'm definitely a little life skin joint. I got a long dressed you know, I got a good color and make
good money. I drive, you know. No, no, you said to describe myself. I'm just talking about my let y'all listen to him. Don't listen to him. What you're looking for? You're like tall, you like thick, you like thin? What you like? I like black? That's I do want to say this. I see you already. I see you already deleted all her pictures off here. Oh I see you. I'm looking at you right now, the rock star. You look like you got six pain. You got you got
six pair timberlance, a clover and full of sweatshirts. Seven seven seven, Okay, okay, okay, and one last thing. I want to just give you this little piece of advice. Sometimes when you jump back into dating too quick and you're not over somebody and makes you miss them even more. So I just want to make sure that I know they're saying the best way to get over somebody is by getting under somebody. But I do want to say if you're not ready for that, sometimes it's more painful.
I see you got mad red bandannas. What set you clean? Oh? Oh no, none of that, none of that. I just like red, right is my favorite color. And you you would be considered what we would call what is that a stud um? A g stud I mean at the end of the ag is an aggressive female? Oh I didn't know that. No longer attorney general. No longer attorney general. No no aggreathive aggressive female. So I should call you
a jaden aggressive jaws. That's better aggressive. Well, I mean, hey, maybe maybe you know all right, well, y'all hit rock star. I would wait till after Valentine's Day though, by you don't want no new boo before that. Maybe she does. Listen, take your time, okay, I'll make your time. Take your time. Take your time, all right, Ye, I'm gonna try. I'm gonna try. Ye, I'm gonna try. But it's tough. You know, I'm a scorpio. You know I gotta pandemic. You can't
just looking up at anybody. No, you're right about that, definitely right about that. Alright, alright, alright, DM's about to be late. Alright, all right, ask ye eight hundred and five A five, one h five one. Now we got rooms on the way. He was like he listened to the show and we had a conversation about police officers and how he felt and how we felt. It was a great conversation. It was really good to shout out to my place. I'm telling you, police officers give the Breakfast Club a lot of love. Yeah. So, I mean it's good because you know, we have a
lot of conversation. I'll tell you. I ran into some cops in Jersey City and it was like, I know you'd be talking about us, and I know you challenge us, but we listened every day. Absolutely, he said the same thing. But I want them to take that information back to the police force. Yeah, no, he did. We had a good We had about a good ten minute conversation on the side of the road, just going back and forth. It was healthy, it was it was great. So shout

But he explained why actually in the middle, I just got along because I just got it pairs. Then it's swelling. I want to go down. You're gonna be right down. Now. Let me ask you guys a question,
honest question. Streets are thirsty, right? Can you see him walking through the clubs? What? I love little Oozy BT. Y'all know that he's my favorite sassy savage. I love everything about that guy. But if you think that man is walking around with a twenty four million dollars piece of jewelry piste in his head, I got an arena in Brooklyn. I want to sell you for the low, Like, come on, man, what at his cap? Twenty four million dollars. I didn't think it's I don't think it's twenty four
million dollars. That's the whole. That's how we that's how the story's leading, right. But if it's if it's whatever, even if it's one hundred thousand, even if it's twenty thousand, well, y'all keep telling people or him, whoever's making that room up, that is twenty four million. If y'all keep saying that, these idiots out here gonna think that, And yes, they will try to remove it from his head. If they get the opportunity, they can just snatch it. That's god.
Oh they'll get blood everywhere, guys. That's why you gotta stop fronting. There's no need to let people say it's twenty four million dollars. That's cap. You know that cap. It's not a twenty four million dollars ninemon, come on stop all right? But speaking of millions, Joe Button has taken his podcast to Patreon, and he also has gotten his own new situation there. He's not just, I guess an employee, he's also an owner. Here's what he had
to say, head of Creator Equity at Patreon. Do you know all the steps that had to happen for this to happen. Don't listen to this and say, oh, no, I see where Joe's coming from. No, no, you don't. You wasn't near year one of that Spotify deal where they offered his fifteen million in the growing market and has had to say no, you know how much self serving it. I walked away from you. Wasn't there when that next company came and said, Hey, thirty mill for

I'm an owner. But yeah, so he's got some executive position there. I guess he'll
be bringing more content in there as well. Good everybody. Yeah, everybody does what they thinks it's best for them. So salute to salute to Joe. They reached out to him. We gotta set the meeting. So we we haven't talked yet. You just uh, you know, Shirt and the finger. When we can have this meeting and how we're gonna have it. I would love to bring

You know what I'm saying. You got people like Cedric Richmond out there, who you know who who's making those things happen. I'm sure, I'm I'm sure Cedric Richman is the person who set up that meeting with Cuban the Biden administration. So that's good.

Everybody else and People's choice mixes up next, let's go winding. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlomane, the guy we
are the breakfast club, good morning, who were rapping? Today is black history today? We're paying homage to one of the greatest black characters in TV history from one of my personal favorite TV sitcoms, and that is Tony Childs
from Girlfriends Salute to the Homie Jill Marie Jones. Since Hollywood doesn't want to give us any closure in regards to Girlfriends, the only thing we can do is reminisce and today, for Black History Month, we will not only pay homage to Tony Childs, but we will pay homage to her unwavering commitment to getting Jabari Darnell Wilkes's name wrong. Let's take a scroll down classic sit calmly, this is
a black hytory Mont moment. What's his name? Jimmy krack Corn no waight, no way, Jungle, jim Hey, Jally Rancher, Javari? Why is he young? I mean jibberish. Jamal is a very wise young man. Honey. His name is Jabari, but he looks like a jamalar watch Jabari like snack and most of all, he likes to be called by his real name, Jamanji. Oh yeah, taught him so sorry late, I had to do all this stuff. We know, we know, drop off j Loppeek gets to the point you don't

You tell them? Look at here's your FIFA. That was a Black History Month moment brought to you by the Breakfast Club. I pray one day that more Black history will be made and the name of girl Friends, and that's someone in Hollywood will understand the gold mine that franchises and give Mara Brock to kill the budget she deserves to create the mini series or movie we want.
