The breakfast clubs made everybody good morning usc yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo Good morning Angela ye, good money. He's ambi Cholomagne the god piece to the plane in this Thursday. Yes it's Thursday. I mean stop the music, Stop the music. Man. You know, yesterday was

was a tough day for me. You know, I was just scrolling through Instagram and I happened to come upon a friend of mine's page, and my friend took off his hat, and when I seen what's under Charlemagne's hat in the hood, I wanted to cry, what the hell is going on? That half bro? Don't ever take off that hood. Go ask your wife the balls your head? Bro, I was about to come to your house yesterday. I Google, I try to google with your house was I was like,

I'm just gonna pop up and just cut that hair off. Man, it looks I'm crazy. I'm I'm forty one year I'm forty one years old and I have a receding headline. Um, I'm not ashamed of that. And noway shaping form plus you late. I've been took my hat off two three weeks ago. The mina stat seven is not working and then Jamaica cast I think, I think, I think it's kind of working. But you know, it just grows. It

grows in spots, that's all it looks like. And I didn't have it comb, so it looked like Kevin comb. Oh if I if I like, if you look at Kevin Duran's head, right, Kevin Duran's head looks like a tennis ball that I've just been sitting out on the tennis court for years. Much Right, that's how mine looks. But when I call me, it looks a little better. You can't if there's no possible way that could look at any better? Bro, Like like just after the show today,

I'm gonna come to your house. I'm gonna give you a fresh baldy. Yes I am, I'm gonna I'm gonna let I'm gonna let my head continue to grow. Quarantine is over. The first person that's gonna touch my head is my guy ties drop on a clues box from my ball. But tie slue, tie blue to tie blue to tie too because his brother brother passed away, rest in peace to g soon as uh, this quarantine is over. That's the first person that's going to feeling not that hard to give someone a baldy. I feel like I

think you need a second opinion. I think you something now like it's like before, it wasn't that hard. I don't gotta go nowhere. I don't gotta go nowhere when I do my appearances on TV or whatever via zoom. I thought a hat on. And plus we thugging it out this quarantine time baby right now. Sometimes in that place, sometimes you have to look in the mirror and see who the real you is. It's good to see brothers.

They got their grays out. They didn't have to put the Beijing down, Beijing down for fifty days, you know, what I mean, let you just really really see himself. I'm good man. I would be scared of that picture bright like when you wake up in the morning, when you make up in and go to the bathroom and night and you turn that light on you look in the mirror. That don't scare you. I don't even think about it, man, I'm being totally honest, clearly, clearly, I

don't even think about it. So I taught me on that video that that was all that was yesterday. That angela I posted that was actually from last week. That was last Wednesday. And I don't even know what I was talking about. But if I yea, I wouldn't have my hat off. Okay, like it is what it is. Forty one bro, what you want me to do? I love you the same, bro. That's why they got for hymns dot Com for him, got up for hims dot com. If you want to do some some some wellness for men,

you know, get your headline back. It's good for a rectile just function. Haven't gotten to that point in my life yet at that point. Yeah, all right, it's good to see. Listen, when you see that headline, you feel more comfortable calling me uncle. Charlotte. Okay, that's my uncle for real. Alright, goodness gracious. But you know who's headline is worse? Done? Rawl Do you see Donnelle Rawlins? What has he done? The comedian guy? You know he opens

up for everybody. Oh that be with Chappelle all the time, be with Chappelle. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah. Okay, Like there's nothing in the front and it just he got like a George Jefferson. At least you got a little up top. Oh I got a lot up top. Mine is what you would call thinning. Done has nothing. Okay, all right, well, good morning, let's get there, let's get the show popping. We have front page news coming up. What we're talking about, well, we'll talk about the Coronavirus

Task Force. Yesterday the news broke that they're planning to phase it out, but now they're saying it will continue indefinitely. We'll give you that update, all right, and DL hugely will oh my guy, DL hugely? Yes, Luke DL HUGLEI one of my favorite people to talk about. And I was like, day, I gotta take my donkey in the day back now probably not because it's Trump. Right, there's Trump. I'm sure he'll mess it up now some way. Yeah, yeah, he did deserve it for that, for that moment. That's right,

is mine for that moment? Yes? All right? Well, DL Huglely will be joining us next hour, and Front Page News is next. It is the breakfast Club. Good morning morning. Everybody is DJ mvy Angela ye, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Let's get in some front Page News when we're starting you all right, Well, let's start with Donald Trump and the task Force. Yesterday, Donald Trump had said they would be phasing out the health focused Panel and they were going to be doing a group

that's a focus on reopening the economy. But now Donald Trump said the Coronavirus task Force will continue indefinitely, so it's not phasing out. Now. I'm glad he changed his mind, you know what I mean. Like I said yesterday during Dunkey Today, it's like when you have a bacterial infection, you gotta finish all your pills. Even if you are

doing better, you gotta finish your whole prescription. Donald Trump said, I thought we could wind it down sooner, but I had no idea how popular the task Force is until actually yesterday, when I started talking about winding it down, I got called from very respected people saying, I think it would be better to keep it going. It's done such a good job. But to respected task force. I know it myself. I didn't know whether or not it was appreciated by the public, but it is appreciated by

Nobody wants them around because they're popular. Nobody wants them around because they're appreciated by the public. We want them around because they know how to do their job better than you. They are the experts. You need experts around you at the time like this, especially if you reopen in the country. You're reopening the country. We don't know what's gonna happen, all right. Well, they're also saying don't

expect a COVID nineteen vaccine until next spring. According to the lead researcher overseeing a clinical vaccine trial, they said, we're doing things in months that normally would be done in years. So the first phase of the phase of the trial will determine if it's safe. That typically takes three to four months. But as we've been telling you,

it's been different strains, it's been mutating. They are saying though blood thinners may help patients with severe COVID nineteen infections, that could help save some patients who are the most severely affected. The findings were from a team at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York Is saying now that there's some troubling problems. There's blood clots throughout the body that already make things complicated, and patients who did receive anticoagulants

did better than those who didn't. All right, it just makes me nervous anyway, the way this thing is mutating, in the way that they just don't understand. They just don't know. They're just taking these educated guesses. But I don't know, man, people are still dying at along the rates everywhere. So well, LA is going to be reopening. LA's reopening tomorrow. They're gonna start reopening tomorrow a lot reopening everything, or they're gonna take a day. It's phases,

you know, everybody's doing phases. That's the rules. Everybody has to do Phase one, then move to phase two, then phase three. So there's gonna be trails, golf courses, car dealerships, floris. Those are among the places that are being allowed to reopen. Retail shops for curbside pickup. And that's the first plan,

first phase in LA and CALLI yeah, I was. I was looking at a lot of people yesterday online and I was just you know, googling, and they were saying that a lot of people were getting letters from their bank saying that, you know, they got these deferments and at the end of the three months, they're gonna have to pay the whole not in three months, and that's not fay government. The government's gonna have to step in. And I know Fanny Man. They say, well, Fanny may

say that that's not gonna happen. Well, that's only the banks that have Fanny Main loans. If you don't have a Fanny Main loan, that doesn't that that doesn't matter to you. So if you have a bank that said, look, i'm not working, I got for a load, I got let go and I'm still not working, some of them banks want that money in three months and not just you know, a percentage. No, they want the full three months, or the full four months, or the full two months.

And I'm thinking to myself, if people still don't have jobs, how are they gonna pay the three months? That's not fair man, they gotta do. I would love to get one of these governors back on the line and ask them, because that's not fair. People still don't have jobs, and then when they still work, they need time to make the money. Yeah. I feel like they should weave all that type of stuff to the rest of the year, you know what I mean. Yeah, I thought they did

student loans. I think they did. I don't know how long they waved it. But they can't do that to people will be losing their homes and then then you talk about crime, then you talk about mental health issues. I didn't worked all my life and I lose and I'm losing my home because of this, you know what I mean. It's Yeah, they should be able to spread their payments out and tack it onto the total loan and then just make you pay a little bit more

absolutely mortgage every month. Yeah, put it on the back end if they if they have to all like you said, I if your mortgages a thousand dollars, charge you twelve hundred dollars, you catch back up. Like they got to help people. Everybody has to have some empathy at a time like this. It's really just that snimple every everybody. Everybody's kind of under the gun in some way, shape or form. So everybody got to have some empathy with each other at a time like this. Get it off

your chest. Eight undrink five eight five one oh five one. If you need to vent, hit us up right now. Maybe had a bad night, bad morning, or maybe you feel blessed, whatever it may be. Eight undrink five eight five one oh five one, get it off your chest. It's the breakfast club. Good morning, the breakfast club. And either way we're about to slide. Can't let this one slide. Wake up, wake up, wake y'all your time to get it off your chest. Whether you're man or blass, we

want to hear from you on a breakfast Hello. Who's this your folo? Crazy? What's up? Broke? Hey? Good morning, peace king? How are you doing? Brother? Good? Hey? I just want to say, man, hey, shout out to everybody. Man protest for am down there or man yeah, man salutor, my rest in Feasta family may a lot to be pleased with him. I want to tell you many get them mock raising man, you know they clean their head or bro noa, I'm gonna let it. I'm gonna let it grow out a little bit. Man. I want to

see myself. Man, I'm gonna let it grow out. It's been six weeks man, and that sucks. Ain't growing too much, brot you do it yourself. No, I'm not gonna do I'm gonna wait, man, my bob, it'll be. We only got a few more weeks that we can go see Baba's if maybe too all right, man, Hello, who's this? This is Maria for Columbical Ohio. Mariah, good morning, get it off your chest. Okay. So I wanted to add

to the whole you know, paying money back. That's been kind of set back for this time of COVID nineteens. I think it's appalling how the little guy always has to get the shaft, but the big companies are the ones that always get the help, always get the assistance. But it's the consumer dollars that funds are economy funds are tacked to. It makes no sense. It makes no sense whatsoever. Like I can't go to my job if I got furlough and say, well, all this time i've

been off, you now old me that money. That exactly and that's what I was saying. That's just not fair, Like you know, people are they don't have jobs. They can't even look for a job, like like some places are not even open. And now you're saying, okay, it's been three months, you gotta pay the full amount. But that's not right, man, that's that's not right. They can't do that to people, man, they can't. Like and then it's like, okay, so everything I worked for for my

house I lose. I lose a little. If I have equity in the house, I lose all of it. And then how do I start over? And then I gotta figure a way to get a job and start over, find a place to live. Like that's not fair, man. They got they got to have empathy. Man, we understand people being like irritated and pissed off during this situation, because like in two thousand and eight when we had that whole recession, I got laid off and I was fine.

It took almost like a good almost ten years to get back into the position that I was in because you're starting from scratch right on the bottom and go on all over again. So everything you work for it

is just gone and it's out of your control. And now we're back in a situation like that, and it's I understand people's frustrating, like I'm glad that my job still has me at work even though we're working our booties off, but but it is completely appalling that that's the way we go about trying to get our economy back up, Like you're gonna bell out these big businesses, but if the small people don't have the money to pay into it, that bellout means nothing to that big business.

And in a capitalist society, you should actually take care of the consumer first. Without the consumer getting taken care of, nothing, nothing's moving. But that's the problem. They don't care about the consumer. We live under our capitalist society, but we do not fund our community like consumers. Yeah, and that's the whole thing. You know. They gave the Lakers tend with whatever. It's a couple of million dollars. They gave

Steak and Shake a couple of million dollars. But they could take that couple million dollars and pay people's mortgages so they don't have to worry about it for three months and when they come off a FIRS Hello, they can work to get a new job or figure out if they will start working again. And the people I'm talking to with people at a car salesman like they can't It's not even like they can go back to work. Car sales are closed, so they don't have a way

to go back. You gotta wave renting mortgages at least for the rest of the year. You have to get it off your chests. Eight hundred five A five one oh five one. If you need to vent, hit me up right now, hit us up right now. It's the Breakfast Club. Go onring the Breakfast Club. This is your time to get it off your chest. Whether you're man or blast so better famous, we want to hear from you on the Breakfast Club. Hello, who's this? It was

some eavyous day, Dave? What's up? Getting off your chest? Bro? All right, I gotta make it fast to because a

mom break from out my job. But basically what I what I wanted to say is how President Trump he's branded so like to be a hateful guy that everyone hates him, but they don't realize that he's actually trying to protect I believe that they try protect us from this COVID that they're trying to get back to the as for population control, and I honestly don't think like this COVID his son as big as for the media to train it to be. And people, you know, they

don't realize that that. Um I believe to get a vaccination and control population. I'm gonna tell you why I don't believe that. The reason I don't believe that is because this is an election year. Donald Trump's crown jewel was the economy. I don't think he would tank the economy for population control. I think he would want to get you want to get a second term first? No, no, no no, he's not. He's trying to protect us. You

guys think like doctors. Those are the people who are trying to get even more billions off of this corona. Every two years. They have a virus, but people don't realize that this virus is actually sick, and now that it's sticking, they're using it to crash the economy. And then they're gonna come out with this vaccination that they're gonna enforce people. If you want your kids to go to school, you gotta get vaccinated, and it's gonna kill

more people, like kill like a lot of people. For people to ask you question people like, hey, I'm an age and aftercas that was they were actually vaccinated and it gave people aids. And that's what gave what more and more people aided And like I forgot of what Hey, listen, why why do we act like people don't get vaccinations every year for something like why would they wait? Why would they have to wait for coronavirus? You can get vaccinated for the flu. You know, kids got to get

shots before they go back to school. And vaccinations and fluids just as bad. That's why I would never give like my what I'm saying. They could have been, They could have been, they could have been implemented this plan. They didn't have to, you know, crash the economy and do everything that the plane doing this plan for like over ten years and they finally stick. They've been doing this five years back and then it's just that's just

what I feel. And I feel like Trump when he talked about this medicine that helps and cures it actually does, he don't benefit off of that. He's actually going back and forth with you know, the higher up like Bill Gates and Sauchi, and people think that he's trying to throw this medicine out, but he's actually not just throwing the medicine out. He's just trying to like not the lets of vaccination, kickings like, oh that's not true. I read something when he did have some steak in the

hydro chlorquin right. And I would rather listen to the doctors than Donald Trump when it comes to what medication you shouldn't shouldn't take. It's Bill Gates. Let me actually push it is Bill Gates, a doctor. Does he have any medical history? I listen to doctor. I'm not talking about Bill Gates. I wasn't even discussing him. Well, Bill Gates, Bill Gates hired doctor Fau, you know, and that's why doctor thom Bill Gates, doctor thought you didn't work for

the government. For we got rumors on the way, ye, well, yes, congratulations are in order for Meek Mill will tell you what happened. Also, let's discuss Lisa Ray. She talks about where she went wrong when she got married. All right, we'll get into that when we come back. Keeping locked this to breakfast club. Good morning, the breakfast club. E j Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy we all the breakfast club. Let's get to the rumors. Let's talk Meek

Mill This is the Will Report with Angela Ye. Well, congratulations to Meek Mel and Milan Harris. They gave birth to a baby boy, he tweeted out. And it was on his birthday. By the way, Malanna dropped me off a king on my birthday, the best gift, So congratulations to them, said. She posted a happy birthday message to Meek Mail. She said, Happy Birthday, Love. I hope this year is filled with more blessings, lots of love, peace and prosperity and beyond. Proud of the man you've become.

You motivate and inspire me in so many ways. Yeah, that's dope, especially that it's a son and on his born day they get to grow up together and celebrate born days together. Yeah, that's that's dope. That's that's dope. M all right. Now, Lisa Ray, she is on their podcast and she's she's on Fox Soul with Claudia Jordan, and she's talking about what went wrong when she was married to Michael Music. And here's what she had to say. I married for love. Are you admitting you didn't or

did not? So it was like the lifestyle that everything bells and whistles like I mean, you know, it was the potential of falling in love. But I should have been in that before the marriage. The dream that he sold me was I want to date you in our marriage. Well I had never heard of that before, and I was thinking, that's kind of clever, and we're going towards that way anyway, so okay, we can accomplish what we

were trying to accomplish sooner in a partnership. And then I got in there and changed and switched, and it was like, oh you, that's that's not how that works. You get married and fell in love after marriage is supposed to be a lifelong commitment. There is no on your job training when it comes to wanting to spend the rest of your life with a person. That's why you have to do the dating and stuff beforehand, not

while you're married. And doesn't that kind of feed into the It was always this narrative that Lisa Ray was a gold digger. That doesn't that kind of feed into it a little bit? Well, she said it was. She said it wasn't because of that. She said it was the potential of falling in love. And I don't know, I mean, maybe she got swept off her feet at first. And I don't know what the thought process was, but that doesn't sound heard that before. Not how that works.

Supposed to grow in love with people beforehand, and then you know the whole death do us part thing comes after that. Well, she says she learned her lesson right. That was a long time ago, so that's something she learned from that experience. Now, another break up. Charles Barkley, he's talking about being very sad about his broken friendship with his XBFF Michael Jordan. Here's what he had to

say on ESPN's Wattle and Sylvie Show. More sad than anything, really really sad because the guy was like a brother to me for twenty seven years, at least twenty some years. But I wish him nothing but the best. But nothing I can do about it. Brother, There's no way he could ever get back to what it was. Oh he got my number, he would take me. It would take him calling you and say, Charles, you were right and

you were just doing your job. I was wrong. Does he have that capacity in him based on what you know of him. It's been a long time, so I guess not. I don't see that reconciliation happening. Man Michael Jordan's very a very pic a side person. If you over there, stay over there. That's how I feel. Michael Jordan moves right. I mean, look, he criticized him as an owner for the Charlotte Hornets, and Michael Jordan didn't like that, and I feel like there could be something

that you could get over. I think it's different with Michael only because Michael grew up on critics, and Michael probably looks at Charles and says, you know, you used to be a ball player. You know how it is. Yeah, you know how it is. You should need that kind of criticism. And probably they probably had a lot of conversations about the media over the years. So for Charles to put himself in that media position and then do that to Michael, eh, I can see it. I can

see why he would be upset. I write another thing about Michael Jordan. A lot of people have been coming forward talking about what it was like being part of that dream team for so long, and his former Bulls teammate Brad Sellers told The Undefeated that you would see Michael Jordan doing laundry in the first few episodes, and that was him back then. The Countryside of him just living like a regular dude. But he just got bigger and bigger in basketball to a point where he couldn't

go out. I remember saying to him one day, hey, am, how do you eat? And he said he would call the supermarket jewel Osco It's in Chicago, about fifteen minutes before they closed and let them know he was coming in. They would stay open late just to let him shop, and then he would give the staffers a nice tip for doing that. Michael Jordan. They got no assistance the way that I could go do that for him. Well,

maybe he liked to go grocery shopping for himself. That's something that is personal too sometimes, but hey, they he went while they were closed. This has been therapeutic about going to the supermar picking your own stuff, and so that's what he used to do and it worked out. Yeah, it's a form of self kire. I can see. I can see how that could be very relaxing and just

help him the unwind go get his own groceries. I can see that sometimes you don't know what you want till you get in the supermarket, and then you don't like the fruit somebody else might pick for you. Or whatever. So it is a thing that you feel like doing yourself. All right, many Angela Gi the top shelf, oh Manngela yee. And that's your rumor report. All right, thank you, miss ye. Now when we come back, we got front page news

what we're talking about. Yes, we are going to be giving you some updates on what's happening as states are reopening for coronavirus. And there's one guy who actually said he's been tested three separate times and had coronavirus three times. Okay, all right, we'll get into that next. Keeping locked this to Breakfast Club. Good morning, roting everybody A CJ Mvy Angela, Ye, Charlomagne, the guy we all the Breakfast Club. Let's get in some front page news where we start with ye. Well,

let's tell with the man in Houston. He's talking about his coronavirus symptoms and testing positive for three times in two months. He did a video and he said he originally tested positive on March nineteenth, and again on April thirteenth, and recently on May first. He has to take another test today, so he's hoping that test comes back negative. Listen to his story and the symptoms he had all of the bad symptoms and his fatigue just wouldn't go away. So I told my doctor that I was still extreme

or experiencing a lot of fatigue. And this was about at about three or four weeks in So at that point, my doctor had gotten a little bit concerned and she wanted me to get tested again. Unfortunately, that's when it came back that I still tested positive for having COVID nineteen. So fast forward to about six or seven weeks later, I went to get tested and then the test came back positive again. I would say I'm overall better. I

don't think I'm not one hundred percent. So the plan at this point is to now get tested again on May seventh, and hopefully that test will come back negative. Okay, Okay, I was confused there for us, so it's not leaving his system. Basically, he's been getting tested. He got Yeah, he tested three times in two months, so that's a lot of time to be still testing positive. Though it feels like, you know, May seventh, to still be testing

positive and still have those symptoms. See, that's scary. They don't know, they don't know what's going on, and they're still opening up this country. They don't know. Yeah, he might, he might be. He might be a game changer because if there are coronavirus cases that last for seven and eight weeks, you might be in some trouble, right because they tell you to quarantine for two weeks, but it looks like still could have it for that long, all right.

And he's from Houston, and Houston has approved a fifteen million dollar rental relief program, and so that program provides assistance for the residents in Houston. And like I was saying this earlier, to state by state they have different rules and laws, and so make sure you check with your state. If you're not getting federal information and they're not doing anything for you, you can still check with your state. And so the money for the program will

come from the Federal Cares Act. According to the statement, landlords have to agree to certain terms if they choose to participate in the program, and the renters also have to meet certain requirements. But there has to be ways that you can help out the average person that now it's going to have these huge payments that they have to make because they've deferred payment. All right, coronavirus survey. Now I'm just gonna say everybody have to have empathy

for each other at a time like this. And I still don't understand how we live in a country as ran by capitalism. But they don't take care of the consumer first to consume his the foundation of this whole capitalist country. If the consumer an't got no money to consume, it ain't spending. And guess what's gonna happen to the economy. Not a goddamn thing. Ain't gonna get to make no money.

All write and in the Oval Office, Donald Trump who was honoring nurses, and he got a little irritated with one of the nurses who said, the supplies of ppe around the country is sporadic. Listen to this. So ppe has been sporadic, but it's been manageable. And we do what we have to do. We're nurses and we learn to adapt and do whatever the best thing that we can do for our patient to get the job done. Sporadic for you, but not sporadic for a lot of

other people. Oh no, I agree that's your president, because i've heard the opposite of her that they are loaded up with with gowns now and paying. Initially we had nothing, We had empty cupboards because it wasn't put that by the last administration. Don't let her, don't let him bully you, nurse. She backtracks soon as he said that no, no, no, no,

no no, no, I agree, it's the president. No if stick to your guns, if it was speak right, s all right now Phase two, every opening is going to start next week in Oklahoma, according to the governor, and they said they're doing a fantastic job flattening the curve in Oklahoma, and he will make decisions based on the data and Oklahoma officials can extend phases or back up if they see any changes. But in Rhode Island, the governor is saying they're going to let the stay at

home order expire this week. She anticipates letting people be able to go out, but she said, do not race home to see your mom on Sunday. It's Mother's Day. She said, just you know, we have to figure out a way we can love, cherish, respect, and treat our moms without doing that. New Jersey has extended their public health emergency for another thirty days. The governor there, Phil Murphy, is signing an executive order to extend that. He says, this does not mean we're seeing anything in the data

which would pause our path forward. These declarations expire after thirty days. We're still in a public health emergency, so he extended that for another thirty days. And Florida, the governor has signaled that parts of South Florida could reopen soon. That's the plan there. So that's just some updates on what's happening state by state. Now here's some other news. They're saying coronavirus survirus could be barred from military service,

and they could be barred from joining the military. It would be permanently disqualifying if you had a pass case of coronavirus. So that's a new thing. There's also a new bill that would forgive the student debt of healthcare workers who are fighting coronavirus. So doctors, nurses, and first responders on the front lines of this pandemic are being called heroes. So one thing they want to do is they proposed a new bill that would eliminate their student debt.

So wait a minute, if you had coronavirus before that, they're trying to pass a bill where you can't go into the military. Yes, that's the new thing that they're they're trying to So you would be permanently disqualified. Even if even if I test negative, if I had it before and it went away, I tested negative, I'm still disqualified. So this is what they're saying. The measures are going to serve as an interim guidance. It doesn't mean that

a potential recruit would be barred from service. Applicants would have to obtain a medical waiver to move forward with enlisting. They would have to uh look at other conditions as well, like a surgery or a history of depression. And they said the guidelines are meant to force an additional review

of the applicant, not outright disqualify them. So they said it's unclear how effective this can be because a lot of people haven't gotten tested, a lot of people are asymptomatic, and so these memo outlines how staff should deal with confirmed or potential cases if they're screening you, so you have to have your temperature taken, you have to answer questions about potential symptoms or contacts and things like that.

So it's just another level of potential not being able to if I got to six qualify, are not disqualified permanently though, right you have to still get a waiver and they're gonna do extra screening and things like that. All right, well that is your front page news. Now when we come back, d L Hugely will be joining us, so we'll kick you d so don't move. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club Morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are to

Breakfast Club. We got a special guest on the line. Friends in the room, d L Hugely welcome, sir. Hey man, I'm glad they'll still made it. I'm glad, y'all. All right, right right, we haven't left the house. I don't know about you. Oh yeah, well you know he's the thing. I go to work and I come back because we're doing the TV show and the radio show. So I'm the only dude I know. It would build a set doing the middle of a coronavirus. But yeah, we go

to work every day now. Of course, even though I work with my daughter, I haven't hugged her a three weeks, three months. But you know what, what precautions do you take? You put a mask on? Yeah, man, gloves old things, except when I'm broadcasting then I then I don't. But

other than that when we when we're shooting. Other than that, we were just kind of I think, uh, I just I'm really sad because even though you see the death going up, um this drive to get and I understand it because you ultimately your answer can't just see everybody stay home. But it's just sad that the fact that it's the people who are dying that the American the American population are not uncomfortable with old people, black people

and black people people. Yeah, they don't. I mean, you know what, the one thing we'll never run out of the four black people or four brown people. So I figured they figure where's spendable. You know, it's crazy deal. We had the same thought because I said that I saw you post this on Instagram and it literally like I might have posted it seconds after. But I said, uh, you know, America's economy is an omelet, and and poor people in black people, brown people like eggs and they

don't mind breaking a few eggs to make that. Goddamn mamma. The one thing they'll never run out of is pour black and brown people. That's the one thing we have. And old people like if you look at who's who's coming down the diseases, primarily people in prison, people who work in meatpacking plants are in close proximity old people, uh and and black and brown people. And America's like, man,

why should I not have them all open? Because the undesirable, the people that we have to figure out where the warehouse are are dying. And I think it's it's really America's real life, a nature selection of their purge. See who who do you trust and who do you listen to when it comes to what's going on during this endemic? Because I was watching your show and I was watching you talk about doctor Felchi and talk about Donald Trump, and basically doctor Feulchi is a co defendant right for

Donald Trump because he's not stepping in. He has to be ultimately. You know the kind of people who listen to that man, and he needs to be challenged directly. And I think when when a man like that tells you that, Well, first off, I didn't mind him saying um um, you know them ingesting disinfected, because the Trump bleach is perfect for the Trump people, that Trump supporters because it worked great on white and it's hell on color.

So it's but but when that man, when they when he wasn't in there when he made that particular statement. But look at all the statements that took flight that he later on one on the other avenues and then tried to correct as opposed to doing it right there. The op took was not to an administration. The op took was to do no harm. And he does harm when he sets there and he lets those things happened. And what he wanted to avoid was him being silent, and he has been. And I think it's just cowardice.

I think you're a doctor. Anytime somebody what happened to the the other disease that hetalitied um, the other drug that hetalitied if pop or whatever, Joson Clark quin you if you spend the last few a few weeks listen to listening to the president, Look how many people would

be dead, like literally just listening to him. So you can't be the greatest nation in the world when you can't listen to your leader when they're gonna don't listen them and you sit there and say it, and you and you and you an accomplished you just let it happens. It's insane to me. And I think that uh, he has been able to manipulate uh, you know, senators and congressmen and now the medical establiment, and I think it's to America's betriman. Now, what do you think about Joe

Biden right now? And you know, because right now is either Joe Biden and Donald Trump. What are your thoughts on body? Well? Yeah, I also I can't wait to vote for Joe Biden. I'm gonna wait. I don't know. I wouldn't risk my life, you know, going to the mall,

but I would devote for that. But Joe Biden, I'm telling you, and this whole Tara Reid thing and whether he did what she said, America in four years ago, three or four years ago decided that sexual assault was not, that sexual assault was not You could not be excluded from the presidency for being a sexual assault. They already said that. They already said, you grab all the people you want, you can do whatever you want. We don't care about that. So I don't care about it. Now.

If you didn't care about it, then let's not make that a prerecordive for being the president right now. And I think ultimately, if you look what America needs more than anything else than somebody who pays attention to science, and more than anything else, they need somebody who's empathic, somebody who gives a if people are dying, not one time, as this dude said, I'm sorry now one of his

hotels is open to take corona. But nothing, nothing, not one moticum of sympathy or listen in America right now, before we're done with this conversation, thousands of people would be dead and this nation doesn't look like it's morning at all, right at all. I agree, I agree with you deal, but I don't think none of them care. And the reason I don't think none of them care because at the end of the day, all of them care about the bottom line, which is the economy. Now,

how they present it may be different. Some of them might be straight up with you and be like, hey, gonna die. Others might be like, that's wrong, what's happening, But you know what, let's reopen. But that's not too much different than that. Like, literally, I care about the country, but I know things got to get back to we have to. This is unsustainable to have people warehouse or shelves in their homes. But ultimately you have to have people when you ask to leave people, you got to

at least care about them right now. You I mean like you know that if you take a drug, it can hurt. Even if you give a vaccine out or you take you give some issue a drug. It for some people that drugs may may be detrimental, it may cause them harm, But it doesn't mean you don't try to do the best you can for as many people as you can. Who has he done the best? Fool? Literally? Who does he care about rich people? Ever? You never want?

He don't even care about his own people. Literally, he's gonna get ill sacrificed him so you literally have somebody every day people are dying. And all he talks about he stood when he did the Lincoln. Uh you know what the interview in front of Lincoln mother. You're talking about how bad it was in front of a mother, got shot shot, got his head blown off. We have more with DL hugely when we come back, don't move.

It's to breakfast club. Good morning morning. Everybody is DJ envy Angela Ye, Charlemagne the guy we all the breakfast club. We're still kicking it with DL hugely. Ye. What do you what do you think about people discussing quote holding your vote hostage because they want to make sure that don't say people did he me. Yeah, but there's there's a lot of people that are agreeing with that. So people are saying that, and a lot of people agree

that anything. There was a lot of somebody said there were Jesus a thousand of the people would would take would take up don't So that's stupid, But it's dumb. Black people are dying from this. Black people, so maybe and puppies, puppies are statement was irresponsible and deadly. I'll tell you this. Black people are dying, dispportunately because we are us, our grandfathers, our mothers, our fathers. So maybe what we get right away is somebody who isn't un

concerned that we are dying. Maybe we get to survive. How about that. I'm about to take that. Take that, how about we survived? How about somebody that we're dying by the dozens and nobody gives a about it. How about that? How about and pick somebody who at least will pretend to give them. I have to respectfully disagree with you, DL. I think that I don't think there's nothing irresponsible about demanding something for your vote, because let's

be clear, Black people aren't dying because of coronavirus. Black people are dying because of systemic racism, the underlying conditions, that systemic racism that America has laid down for decades and decades and decades, that nobody from any government, any any particular party has helped us with all they've done is can tribute to the systemic racism that exists in the black and brown community. So it don't matter if it's coronavirus, cancer, diabetes, whatever the next disease is gonna be,

We're gonna always be vulnerable until we change that. And you know what we need to change participation. More people didn't vote than died. More people didn't vote indeed, And maybe what we need to ask, And if you're going to make an ass, what is it we all collectively want? There you go say, I got to get something from my vote. But if you're something that should be at

least collectively things that we can all agree on. Well, if you if your ask is different than my ass, then we don't get If we eat, neither one of us get quite what we want, then we say I won't participate. Listen us not participating it is the best thing in the world, and then contribute to what we go through right now, you have to participate in matter in terms of the resources that are allocated matters now.

So even if we are poor and we're in the situation we're in, our educational situations, the prison system is as much a lack of participation on our part and showing up on our part at any other other other factors that we have to deal with. We already know they don't want us to do it. But to say to me that I'm just gonna sit there and nobody's doing anything, so I'll just sit here. You know. I'm in a movie called The Edge. Um. He said that most people die of shame, and that's inactivity and us

doing anything, us doing nothing is the proper solution. I don't. I don't agree. I think that's I agree with you, But I would say though, I would say this, though you know you look at it like this. I don't want people to feel like, well, the blacks to vote for me because I'm better than Trump. That's not a reason. That's what I mean, And that's my only feel like.

I feel like when we put that pressure on Joe Biden a little bit, then all of a sudden, he did lift lift you every voice, and I feel like we have to we have to continue to put pressure on people and make sure we get what we want, because now it's not we're not just voting for you because we don't want to vote for Trump. We want to vote for you because we feel like you're gonna do something for our people and our kids want in our community. What do we want want collectively? What do

we want? What is I think? Because I would like to see some form of economic justice, you know what I'm saying. We know this country is never gonna give us reparations, but it can be some type of equity plan. It could be some type of equity plan that we put money into these points disenfranchise communities, to make the schools better, to make the housing better, you know, to make the hospitals better, to give people access to better healthcare.

That's that's that's a level of specificity. I think proper and adequate education for all of our children. I think that our women that we shouldn't have, inadequate healthcare. I think those are asked. But just to say in a nebulous way that you gotta give me something. It's so nebulous. It's like a woman telling you make me happy without giving you any guideline. Right, you know you gotta eat that goodness goodness, but you don't like even if you

look at the pandemic. Let's let's be honest, right, there's there's some people that has saliva coming out of their mouth because they know how much money they're gonna If you have money, you rich. The white people, they're making millions and billions off this pandemic. But it's us that that have the small businesses that are never opened again. That is us that can never pay our mortgage and not be able to you know, will lose our mortgage and lose our cars and not be able to go

to school because we can't afford it. So how do how do we help ourselves? That's what I want to know. We got to help our own that is that is the specificity that will help us. But just saying I'm not doing this to you thing, you got to ask

them for what a quiet mouth? Don't get fed now what you feel at mouth when we're arguing about Listen, you're absolutely right when it's amazing that the very people are now essential workers are the very mother we were trying to send off, like we're up the people who are dying. You're absolutely right, look like it's disgraceful when I watch them point a camera at a thousand kids, children who sit Who's stand in front of Michael Jordan's to get Michael Jordan's at the mall. We're about the

people will open the mall. We're about the people that because we put child two caps on medicine just for dumb ass kids. But when I want without a manstone and children do what they're too, I just don't understand how it will point. You'll arrest people for non social distancing, but you won't rest two white men. The slaughter the black man. All these a reasonable ads, but too soon Unless you do this for me without a level of

specificity is a nebulous thing. I don't understand that we need their ads that we should all as black and brown people to be able to gree. I agree with that. I think that you know, what what did he did wrong? Well he didn't. What he did wrong was he said a black agenda, but he didn't specify what it was. If you're gonna ring that kind of alarm. You should have something ready to go right then and there. That

that that I agree with. Now DA one thing that I've been saying that I really pay attention to is who is also going to be working with you? Who's going to be the vice president? Who else are you're appointing to positions of power that I know that I can trst. So who would you like to see as

vice president? I mean, I think there are any number of people, But ultimately it's a it's a political calculation because if you pick the senator and then that seat becomes vulnerable, then you arose some of some of your your power. Like sold, there are seasons. First off, I wouldn't like to see Amy Clover shows that I just don't. She makes white women go yes. And people gave Kamala hell for her record as a prosecutor. Go look at

clover Chaws record as a prosecutor. You're absolutely right. I like Kamala as a as a I had my questions with her, and I actually got a chance to talk to her and had my questions about her. I think she would be excellent. I think Elizabeth Warren despite the fact that I think she would be excellent, but that does pose a problem of having a vulnerable seat. I think, um people are talking about Stacey Abram Abrams now I don't know her governor, like I don't know what she

has done in terms of governors. But the bottom line is, when you're making this this more so than any other vice president nominated vice presidential selection people, it's kind of like a literal co signer like kind of like he needs they galvanizes people. So this is probably the most important vice president selection. I would say that that is one of the instances where we see what he thinks

about the people who are supporting him. And I think it's the one thing that is readily apparent in this whole thing. I don't think a woman should be vice president. I think a woman should be president because if you look at the land by women, less of them are dying, Their economy is less than shambles. And I think it's ultimately time to dispel the notion even that even the cities that women run their people, because I think there's a there's a multicum of empathy and common sense that

men have have seeded that women have not. And I think whoever he picked his vice president needs to be fully cabable and ready to be president day one. If something else, Jiden might die at any moment. Yeah, it's possible. Every one of the people running for president looked like they are under the more. None of them is just be outside. None of them, especially especially with the coronavirus outbreak. They keep talking about this is it kill it kills

elderly people. Well, what are y'all? Oh my god, everybody in the Congress something, go back to where you better say your old as home. I have a don't move. We got more with DL hugely when we come back. Don't move. It's to breakfast club. Good morning morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlemagne the guy. We are the breakfast Club. We're still kicking it with d L hugely. Now, DL.

Have you seen the Jordan documentary Last Dance? And how do you think about the fact that he is around his team and all you like that around your team. I think I think that his single mindedness was something that we all and yeah, and I ultimately I think that everybody embodies some of that. But well, I think that Michael Jordan's Michael Jordan primarily because his great work ethic, but I don't think we'd have he would have been beloved in the social media air like when we know

everything about the yeah we know what you said. Part part of any measure of greatness is what you're up against, and when he got up against was not the backdrop for social media. So I think what he did in terms of his single minded but I thought what he did the Scotti tipping was bullshit. And if if weird and knew like if then if you do your teammate just supposed age like that where you're not supportive of them, you people would have a different afflimation of that. They'd

be like and they you that's not a pocket. So I think he was a great athlete, and I think that you have to have he was a great athlete, a less desirable human being to me, I thought he was. I think that I didn't like how he was tiptoeing around race on the episode when they was talking about why they was attacking Michael Jordan, Like, y'all no good at all. There wasn't get a new gambling that was a powerful black man. That's what they do to you,

They tell you down right. But but you can't expect people to involve that when that's never been your conversation man, like he also want to say Republicans by a tennis You have to, like, if you want somebody to get your back, you gotta get there sometime too. You gotta have you gotta be involved in the struggles that matter to other people, so they have been involved in your struggles. You can't just everything can't be about you. And I think that that's what's going But I'll tell you what.

I've been watching spectacular documentary spectacle John Coltrane and then Lee Morgan and it's some dope thing. And I want Tiger can let me tell some when I learned from that. You if you pat a tiger long enough, eventually you don't want to do that's through an I don't understand that that's all you got from that throughout my destrot Tiger's hat are you? Oh man, Dear, you are crazy? Man. I was gonna you know, I was gonna say to you, d I was gonna say, what are you gonna do

without stand up for the next few months? How are you gonna stay shocked? It's well, you know, I get to do the radio everything, but this this literally right itself like I want, and I watched this is It.

I was watching Jerome Adams, who is another like that whole surgeon general dude, Because the one thing that I hate is every time something happens, even though the national international pandemic raging, every time something happens to black people was always our faults, like our faults, like everybody else is dying, but you yourself. Right when that dude said it's not drinking smoking and I'll gool, I'm like, well, you can't make me stay home and tell me I

can't drink and smoking. But it's being hard too. But I'm learning to look. I baked cookies last night. You did regular cookie, A weed cookie. I've been cooking for my old lady. Yeah, so when is the last time you've been home for this long of a period of time? Deal? Never, I just I'm like, I'm waking up with the same woman. What kind of fingers? This stock? After the phone? This is ya, I'll cut it out. We don't do that.

Black men don't cheat. Come on now, now, now, when they when they opened this world back up, how long is it going to take you to go out and really start doing these shows again? A man? I would listen. The last show I did was three days before they close. I was in Texas and San Antonio three days before

it closed down. I think ultimately it ain't gonna be Entertainers do what they do, and I think that even when they open it up, there's a certain like you dig your gig and you want to be saved, but at a certain point you itch to be what you were, and so it'll be more a question of when people feel comfortable coming out. But for me, this is what I've been, pandemics or not, this is who I am, and so I just I can't wait to be on stage and say the things that I say and do

the things I do. But I want, more than anything else for people to feel a sense of say that. I think everybody wants normalcy. I think it's something that's a bridge too far. I don't know that we'll ever have that again because we have a memory of what things will like. But I think a level of safety

with people were more secure. And I think that despite political differences, that there are people who actually seem to care about Like your governor seems to give him, he seems I think our governor seems to give I think Whitman and Michigan seems to care. So at least having a caring, sober, thoughtful group of leaders I think will contribute to people um um feeling safer, safer, and then that contribute to getting back to a semblers or a

life we recognize. She might be vice president too, Governor Governor Whitman. That's what I mean. Hearing she had let her read Nick pinged the governor, she on flinch, She's one more thankful we go dea yesterday. Everybody jumped on tire banks. All that old, she said on America's Next Top Model. To me, that is the dumbest in the world. And the reason I say that, it's like I was feeding on the highway. The speed limit used to be seventy.

Now it's fifty five, but you're sending me speeding to it from twenty years ago seventy I was doing our damn seventy. It's actually what they did with Eddie Murphy's raw that was funny. And then we gave things by our prison of to day. And if we're gonna do that this, let's go all the way back. Let's not just do things like that. But I think you can't like it's that prisoner of now bullsh I think we are.

It's it's the whole thing. I was just speaking of this collective be what theful you are for all you feel. Obviously they're going to be consequences, but you but this whole notion that we all have to think alike, and we all have to think things are wrong. We all like when I when I remember when Snoop said what he said about Gail King, I didn't think he was calling everybody names. I didn't think it was everybody. I thought I was heard, But there are people here that

and go, I feel bad. Well, I'm talking to you, like, why do I have to Why do I have to like this? When black people said when the black dudes feel it makes us all the bad? No that bad? I don't, but you know, but there is also nothing wrong for taking accountability if you feel you might feel like you look at it from somebody else's point, if you want to feel like you know what, I get it, because sometimes that does happen too. Empathy is different than

taking in on as a mark. Empathy is different, like everybody loves Jesus when nobody O went with that cross anybody did that, So empathy is different. But now we have this this whole mindset, well we don't have well, and it's a false one because it like if you haven't told me, and I feel like you called me a name, I don't then commensally feel like you owe me money when you make money off of your creativity.

So I just think individuals or individuals and people say things that are out of line, and casting people off and judging them for what they've said in one moment is even even with Puffs as angry as it made me, he's done a lot of great too, So it's not that. But I think when you got to be who you are, and like I just and that's that's why I dig this space as dangerous impercurious as this is, I love this part of Like I was telling my wife, I said, I am nervous, but I feel more comfortable in a

situation like this than I than I almost ever had. Absolutely, Well, definitely thank you for checking in. We appreciate it. And if we will learn, if we learned one thing from you today, we learned get rid of all your Detroit Tiger get in hats and everything. That's that's one thing. I don't pet No, goddamn tigers. Bro, Let me tell you something, tiger, dude, I'm telling the same thing. I can't see. I can't you. You got too far and

you got hey he got a point. No, because after Mike Tyson, remember when Mike Tyson had that white tiger. Shortly after that he made that statement, he said, I can you tell you love me? He told us he said that to another man. There you go. I think I think I think we should leave right there. Yeah, well, Mike Tyson he said it relationship and d I make sure you give our love to Jasmine and shout out to your hairline. By the way, your hairline is amazing. Yeah,

you see it? Yet take that off. I'm sure I may take this hat on. I'll take mine off. Your hat on. Bro. I don't follow, hey, I don't find I don't follow the crowd. All right, it is the Breakfast Club. It's d L is the Breakfast Club. Good morning morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Let's get to the rumors. Let's talk Trina. It's about this report with Angela Ye.

The Breakfast club. Yes, so these versus battles are supposed to be friendly battles, but you know people are calling other people out. Now, we told you about Kaya saying that she could beat Trina in a battle. Listen to this. Who want to try me like that? Oh you have hit battle? Oh look I got on well. Trina has since responded, and here's what you have to say about a possible Trina versus Kaya battle. Everybody knows me. I'm

a queen. This is called royalty over here. Okay, I'm not stepping off from my throne to address no bum no chicks that are beneath me, and nobody that has my work as hot as I worked for anything. So when you girls or whatever you want to be are calling my name, you want to battle, you want to do all this? First of all, make sure you have ten hits, make sure you have enough records. Make sure you're on my level. If you think you want to go toe to toe with me, because you cannot. You

are beneath me and you will always be. Please make sure you understand that. I love when a person says they're not going to address something, but then they addresses it. I love that drop on a clothes bombs for Trena damn it. Yeah, and you know they haven't gone along ever, it's been like twenty years. Ever. The whole plan of versus battle is not for y'all to be beefing for real. It's supposed to be like a friendly thing. So I don't think that's a good idea. I mean, I mean,

that's a versus battle. That a goal. That a that a goal about six rounds before Trina wins in THEO Tkyo, because the first three rounds would be competitive because Kaya gonna h him with my neck, my back, k wing with it and don't trust him. After that, it's gonna be a long fight, your long fight for Kaya. All right. Now let's talk about Earl Thomas, NFL star Earl Thomas. I don't know if y'all saw this, but there was

some drama that went down on April thirteenth. Now let me break it down because now all this information has gotten out, so apparently according to Nina, and Nina is his wife. Nina says that he left the home earlier in the day after an argument over his drinking, and his brother Seth Thomas picked him up, so then she checked on his whereabouts right, she logged into his Snapchat account and she found video of her husband, Earl with

another woman. Well, she used that Snapchat account and tracked his location, found out he was at an Airbnb rental home and she pulled up. She also took his pistol with her. She wanted to scare him. Yes, so when she arrived to the house, and she wasn't by herself, by the way. When she arrived to the house, she discovered that Earl and Seth were naked in bed with

other women. That's when Nina says that she did pull out a gun and put it to his head, and that she took out the magazine thinking the gun couldn't fire, but she didn't know that the gun had a round in the chamber. So one of the women in the house shot cell phone video of the incident and they say that Nina or acquainted the kun of Earl's head from less than a foot away, and you can see all this in the video. Her finger was on the trigger, the safety was disengaged. That's when he was able to

rustle the gun. Earl was able to rustle the gun away from his wife Nina, and she also struck him in the nose before it all ends and tape were Earl. He corroborated the story, Nina ended up getting arrested, and yeah, so all of this information is also out available for you to read. One of the women there also claims that Nina's other friend was carrying a knife, even swinging it aggressively, and that she was pointing the gun at

them and yelling, I got something for all you. Hos So cops did arrest Nina and both members of her posse, her friends that were with her. She was booked for burglary of a residence with intent to commit aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, family violence, and later on she was bonded out or was not arrested. There as an emergency protective order, she has to stay two hundred yards away from him and from his alleged mistress. Also, here is what Earl had to say about this whole incident.

I mean, it's really not anybody's business. It pissing me off that it got out, but it's the world we live in today. But instead of talking about us, just keep us in your prayers and stuff like this happens. Bro. You know, we tried a little bitst life. We possibly can, but sometimes we don't go as playing. Just pray for us, you know, as we go through this stuff. We're back talking. You know, I'm saying our kids, So I'll just keep

us in your prayers. That you considered like a crime of passion, though, right, she probably get the right attorney. She probably can can beat that. We ken and you see your man in the bed with another woman. I'm sure that would be considered the crime of passion. I'm sure he won't press charges though, right, yeah, listen, privacy right now, but you know it might not even be up to him. And he has to eat. I mean, might not be up to him. It's okay, but he understands,

I mean wife. Yeah, other women in the house. His mistress could press charges. It's not trust me that guy Earl said to himself before he did that. I said the one of his homeboys. We gotta be careful because if my girl catch me, she gonna kill me. You know, we say that in jest, but no, we know our women. Yo, what kind of women? When you got bro that, I mean, please Jesus, let get caught in the bed with another woman. I'm gonna try to kill myself. I'm gonna jump another woman.

It was a couple of um, yeah, I'm with you, I'm no, Yeah, I'm getting out of here. I already know what it's going. Don't even worry about it. Baby, you ain't gonna shoot me. I got to well, Nina time has posted a heart emoji. She said, things happen, just asking for prayers and privacy at this time, Lord have mercy. Oh my goodness. All right, well, just put a little scare into everybody this morning. I'm angela yee and that's your I ain't never learn my lesson, learn

my lesson years ago. Okay, black men don't cheat, all right, black boys do, but black men we don't cheat. I'm over here. You see my headline. I see you? Who loves me? You who loves me? You? Right? You good? You absolutely right that. But you he left the quarantine to do this. Yeah, that's bad, bro. Oh man? How old is Earl? How old? That's what makes it even worse? Right, you leave you twenty sixteen, so it's been four years since they got married. You leave quarantine? How old is he? Though?

Like you went and slept with two other chicks? Possibly, uh, you know, exposing yourself to Corona, right and amongst other things, ain't gonna bring that back home to me? Oh? He thirty? I think he's thirty thirty one mine. And the other part of it, though, is that you also had your brother as your accomplice, so now as your wife. How can I even trust your brother every time y'all go out together? What that's his brother's brother gonna ride with

him regardless? I know? But still, you know that's a difficult thing for a woman where your brother and your family members know, and a younger brother, younger, I bet you the brother younger? Well, yeah, well today it's his birthday, So happy birthday, earl? Are you already one today? Happy birthday? And by the way, you really love your side chicks, both of them? If you left your house during the quarantine to go be with them, you know what I'm saying.

All your all, you mistresses, all you guys that got side chicks. If you love that individual enough to go see them during the quarantine, then you got a problem. You're too deep into it. You love them too much. It ain't suposed to be love. It ain't supposed to be no love going out all right? Well, that is your report. I'm antally all right, Happy bond day to him.

All right, Charlottagne, you got donkeet to day? Yeah, man, uh four after the hour, I gotta give Donkey of the day to this white man from Saint Paul, Minnesota who killed the black, unarmed black man. We'll talk about it. Also, ask ye eight hundred five eight five one oh five one if you need relationship advice, any type of advice. Hit e. Now's the breakfast, clud go morning. It's time for Donkey of the day. A Democrat, so being Dunky of the day a little bit of a like any

other day. Now, I've been called a lot in my twenty three years that donkey of the belly is a new wife. Yes, Donkey to Day for Thursday, May seventh goes to a twenty four year old Caucasian man named Anthony. Try for letty, okay. Warning, the mayonnaise is heavy on this one. Uh and I know the smell of helmonds in the morning is nauseating for quite a few of us. Personally,

I'm allergic. Let's just get right to it. Anthony has been charged with murder and a road rage after getting into a verbal altercation with a black man a brother named Doug Lewis. Rest in peace to Doug Lewis, condolences to his family. May all be pleased with him now. Doug's sister Valerie told the Star Tribune that her brother Doug was a father of four who made a living as a delivery driver for one eight hundred Got Junk,

Amazon and door Dash. That means he was an essential worker, okay, the type of person that is truly making the world go around during this global pandemic. If your house is anything like mine, if your wife is anything like mine, then it's a damn Amazon box on the step all the time. Okay. Thank you to all the Amazon delivery folks out there. You are appreciated door Dash as an absolute godsin during the time like this, people gotta eat, okay,

and one eight hundred Got Junk. At a time like this, when people are at home quarantine, you do a lot of cleaning, You find a lot of things you don't want. I'm thankful that these folks are still coming to pick things up and take them away from your house at a time like this. Salute to one hundred Got Junk. All right, thank you to the essential workers who work at all of these places you are valued and appreciated. In this morning, Saint Paul Minnesota is down a man

because of Anthony Trifiletti's fear of the black man. Now. I hate rehashing these stories. I hate talking about these stories. I hate seeing these stories. It's Mental health Awareness month. I have personally been holding up pretty well. I hope you are too. I have actually been rather calm during this whole coronavirus quarantine. I have learned to do something my therapist has been telling me to do for the past couple of years, and that's leaning into the uncertainty

of life. Stop stressing over things you can't control. I, for whatever reason, have embraced that concept and detached myself from this situation. And I have not had one anxiety attack. But all of that changed this week when that video of the young brother I met Aubrey came out. I didn't watch that video because I know my trauma triggers, but I've heard what happened and the thought of that triggers. What I have told my therapist is black annoia. I

am a very black annoyed individual. What is black annoia? Scharla ma ain't what do you mean you're black annoid? Well, black annoid is when you are black and paranoid in America, the paranoia that comes with just existing, all right, think about that. My presence, just me showing up and everyday life can cost me my life. Okay. I will never ever understand why someone can simply hate me because of the color of my skin. Why someone can fear me just because of the color of my skin. Why am

I such a threat to you? Okay? Reguless Smegula. Everyday things that white people can do and go on about that day with could cost me my life. Okay, think about it. I met Aubrey was jogging. He's an athlete, he's quarantined high school football star, taking care of himself. Going for a run. Doug Lewis, as sensual worker, rear ended Anthony's truck minor fender bender, according to City Pages Okay, the accident occurred near the intersection of Highway sixty one

and Burns Avenue in Saint Paul. The two drivers pulled onto exited they exited their vehicles. Anthony, the murderer, took pictures of the damage to his pickup truck and later told the police that The two men started arguing when he tried to get Lewis his insurance information. See I hate stuff like this because Doug not even here to tell his side of the story, but he told police Anthony did that. They started arguing, right and now here

comes to mandates. This is when the dukes get spread thick, all right, Anthony, Anthony and his friend, because his friends were following him. His friends said they heard Doug Lewis say I'm a GD. That's what Anthony and his one friend said. They said they heard Doug Lewis say I'm a GD. Now, Anthony and his friend said they didn't know what that meant, but they took it to mean he was a gang member. Now, mind you, other witnesses said they didn't hear Doug say that. But you can

smell the craft, real male on this. You heard Doug say he was a GD, but you claim to not know what that is, but you think it meant he was a drug dealer. Anthony, if you don't shut the f up forever. If you don't know what GD is, someone said that to you, I'm a GD, you should have asked him. Okay, if you truly didn't know what that was, you would have exhibited the cluelessness Caucasians usually do when it comes to cultures other than theirs and just asked him if gd was the name of his

insurance company. Okay, you knew exactly what you was doing when you told the police that she was trying to paint a picture of this essential worker, all right, just essential worker with dreadlocks. He was trying to paint the picture of him as a thug. Okay, to justify what your punk ass did. Next, see, Doug Lewis and Anthony both got back in their cars. Doug pulled out first, and Anthony says he unintentionally followed behind him. So Doug put his car in park and got out to say, well,

what's up. What's going on? Anthony grabbed the firearm he was permitted to carry and fired at Doug four times. Then he drove off as witnesses called nine one and tried to stop Doug Lewis's bleeding. Okay. An ambulance delivered Doug Lewis the region's hospital, where he was declared dead. A few hours later. Anthony called his dad, told his dad would happen, and Anthony's dad told him to return

to the scene of the crime. When he got back to the scene of the crime, he told police he fared for his life because Doug was reaching for his waistband as he approached the truck. Police say Doug Lewis was unarmed. Then Anthony said he left the scene in case he hadn't extinguished the threat. I'm glad this brother, Doug Lewis didn't have a gun because it shows he

wasn't a threat. But I wish he did have a gun because then maybe, just maybe he might still have his life, just like I wish I met Aubrey had a gun when he ran into those three white thugs,

those three white goons in Georgia. Okay, my brothers, my sisters, if you listen to your uncle Charlotte at any point during this Mental Health Awareness Month, if I give you any tools or tips that help with your your mental health, please please listen to this one when I tell you that when you are black, owning a legal firearm in America is a form of self care. It just is. It's better to get called with it than get called

without it. I would much rather be in jail for defending myself than being someone's shown heal home laid up in a casket. Okay. Now Anthony is being held in Ramsey County Jail on a one million dollar bond. Why do I got to drop on a clues bond for that, Drop on a clues bomb for that? Okay, thank you Saint Paul for not letting this man's white skin be a get out of jail free card. All right. He's been charged with second degree murder and is facing a

maximum penalty of forty years in prison. It's a shame that I have to say thank you to the police in Saint Paul, Minnesota for doing what they are supposed to do. You shoot a man four times for no damn reason other than you were afraid, other than you were scared, and because you thought he was a gang banger. That's a personal problem that you have to deal with. Okay, you made the wrong call, so you should have to pay for that period. But we see y'all too many

times that's not how America works. Because mayonnaise, it's truly America's favorite condiment, and usually guys like Anthony have the complexion for the protection. But not this time. So let's all pray for justice for Doug. Lewis. Let's pray for Doug Lewis's family, and let's pray that Anthony gets every bit of forty years. Please let Chelsea Handler give Anthony try for Letty the biggest he haw he haw he haw.

That is way too much. Dan Mann is, Yeah, Man, I get I get traumatized when I hear these stories. I get traumatized and I see these things because trauma changes everything. It messages with every aspect of your thought process and functioning, you know, and you can just be absolutely triggered by these these situations. So rest in Piacea. Dougis, rest in piece star mad Aubrey, I remember remember as a black person in America, owning a gun is a form of self care, a local gun. All right, well,

thank you for that donkey of the day. All right, well, when we come back, ask ye eight five eight five one o five one. If you need relationship advice to any type of advice, call ye now. It's the breakfast Club. Good morning, what what what? What? What you wanna know? Baby Mama issues, sneaks and words of wisdom, Call up now for asking eight hundred five A five one oh five one Breakfast Club. Hello, the relationship advice, need personal advice,

just need real advice. Call up now for ask ye boding. Everybody is dj Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomna gay. We are the breakfast Club. It's toime for ask yee. Hello. Who's this Hi? My name is Francis and I'm calling from for Broad North Carolina. What's up Francis? What's your question for you? Easy? My question for yeasy is um pretty mind me and my wife has to be married for like a year and so minds now and had sister ten for visit and it's like she's not going with

you about anytime soon. And my wife wasn't discussed with me how long she was going to stay there or whatever. And she doesn't do nothing in the house, like she don't clean, she don't do nothing. She just come eat and gold straight to her room, Tom Eagles strait to her room. And even if like we are cleaning out that's something that she can offer to help or anything like that, she wouldn't say nothing about it. She just go to her room and she stay out in the night.

I mean the army and I gotta get out like early in the morning, go to work and stuff and I high school work to do. Sometimes I stay out to like leven twelve o'clock, that's when she would come out and like making noise in the kitchen doing all that kind of stuff, and I'm trying to, you know, keep it calm. I don't want to put my wife's feelings by letting her know that, hey, your sister gotta go because she didn't come to stay. She's just getting for a visit. So I don't know why she's still here.

And you obably said nothing about it. And the last time I overhead them, she was like she was gonna look for a job or something. That looks like she's gonna stay or something. And I don't do anything to her my wife's feelings, So I just need help on how to control it. Well, it's not just about hurting your wife's feelings. This is your house too, right, Yeah, And so you haven't said anything to your wife about it,

so I obviously said anything to my wife's body. Sometimes, you know, stop that has sister it's going to do. Let's say my wife be doing something else, something that is supposed to be down in the house that has just I can do that she can at least as her to do it. She wouldn't do it. She falls everything onto her and do it at all. Yeah, you have to have a conversation with your wife because this

is something that could potentially damage your union. And I think that has to be the strongest thing and the most important priority for you. Not about hurting your wife's feelings, but you have to be able to express yourself and communicate because this is clearly taking a toll on you, right, Yeah, I don't. I don't like it at all. It's due to mars slide here, you know, it's it's not working

with me at all. So first of all, the main thing is you and your wife have to have a discussion because she has to be able to take your side and this it's been months now, her sister's been living there. It's affecting you. It's affecting your job, it's affecting your relationship, and you need to tell her that. You need to say, listen, there's some things that have been bothering me about your sisters staying here. I understand

that you were trying to help her out. She was only supposed to be visiting, but now at this point it is not fair to me and it's not fair to you, and it's affecting our relationship. We need to tell her, give her a deadline on when she has to move out by this date. You know, we're giving you one more month to stay here, and by this time you have to be out of the house. In

the meantime, there's some rules. My husband has to get up early for work, you know that, and so at this particular time, you know, I would appreciate it if you would not make a lot of noise at night because he has to get up for work. Also, we need your help in participating around the house while you're staying here rent free. There's some things that you need to handle. And I think that you have to tell your wife that, Roger, Okay, okay, yeah, right, give her

a deadline she has and I'm sure she has. Does she have other family members she can go stay with it she needs to if it's an emergency. I mean, she came already away from New York and say the whole way until I was starting lace here for a while before, you know, if anything comes down, then I thought she was going to leave. But it looks like she's going to be here for a while. Yeah, somebody has to say something and it should be your wife. Yeah, exactly.

All right, good well, listen, I understand that's really tough man to have a family member of you know, living in your home. That does affect you. So you got to make sure that you step up and speak up for yourself because sometimes you keep that in and you end up exploding. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it's coming off. Yeah yeah, all right, fantis, best of luck to you, all right, thank you, all righty ask ye eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. If you need

relationship advice here ye Now it's the breakfast Club. Good morning, that chancel. I comna keep a real ways of some real advice with Angela. Ye's ask ye morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the breakfast club. We're in the middle of as skiing. Hello.

Who's this? It's Alexis. Hey, Alexis, what's your question for you? Hey? Ye? So, like my boyfriend, I've been texting him, calling him, he's not answer and um he said that he'd be at work all the time and I can't track his location because I ain't got him a snapchat nothing like that. So I'm trying to figure out my gosh. So is he at work? Well, yeah, he'd at half of the time, but he get off that five if I'm just lying, okay, I know what time you get off? Like, why haven't

you texted yet? So but you do talk to him every day? Yeah? Sometimes, but not all the time, he'd be saying half the time he's a sleep So I don't now and little in a different city, And do you work or what do you what have you been doing right now? Um? Right now? You know such a pandemic right now, I'm working at home half the one.

But so how let me ask you that? So he didn't used to ask act like this, right, no, because like I um met him like three years ago, and he've been trying to get with me from like three years ago and I only started talking to and now I was not like the same like some three years ago when used to blow me up on the top, right, So now he got to So now he's like, okay, good, that challenge is overcome. How long has this been your boyfriend? Though? Since last year of November? So you think he's doing

something else? Oh yeah, but look I don't know. I'd be having my little private investigating my home girl. But she looked here. She will help you, but we can't find it because it is also possible. What does he do for a living? When you when you say he's working till five, he lays pipe? Okay? Real? Wow? Okay, so maybe after I alwas he's laying pipe. But the thing is, I will say this though, Alexei, it is a very stressful time for a lot of people, and it is a different type of time, so we do

have to take those things into consideration. You know, it's hard for me to gauge this because I don't know what he was like before this. I also know your home during the day, working from home, so I don't know if that's making you also be extra needy during this time, which is fine, But do you think that you're are you acting different? No? I call more, name, texts everything, and you always did that. You're not calling

and texting more than normal? No? All right, Well, listen, I think that as women, we all know when things aren't right we're feeling in our intuition, and when a man is responsive and when he cares for us, so we know, and when he's being more distant and he's not answering calls, especially at a time like this, and going to sleep supposedly when he comes home from work

at five o'clock, we already know what it is. Yeah, So as soon as you feel like you have to start investigating and doing those things and he's not communicating with you to your satisfaction, that's an issue. But it's always that balance of am I being crazy in my head? And am I overthinking it? Am I overdoing it? Is he telling me the truth? Because we always do have that suspicion. We believe what we want to believe, and sometimes the truth is in our but we don't want

to see it. So if you feel like, look, he's not answering my cause, which is always I think a red flag. And every day he's going to work, he's not communicating with me. He used to, but now he's not. Is he going through a depression? Is he seeing a lot of things, as he lost family members, as he has sick family members, you know, take all those things into consideration too. Yeah, it's kind of crazier because he's just say he's starting to go to therapy and all

this stuff. So all right, well, if he is, you should be supportive of that. Like, it is a hard time for people, and a lot of people are going through a lot, so you know, if it could be that, then communicate and let him know he can speak to you or it doesn't always have to be an attack when you do speak to him. Why aren't you doing this? Why aren't you doing that? But just so you know, you can't talk to me about anything. He told you he's going to therapy. He was being open to you

about that. So maybe it's a good time for you to just say, Okay, look, I just want you to know I'm supportive of whatever it is. You know, you could talk to me if you're going through some things. I know it's a difficult time. That's important too for you to determine what is it. All right, Thank you so much, see and shout out to all y'all. A listening to y'all every morning. Thank you, well, good so happy. Yes,

so I'm on my way to yall. Drop some stuff, I'll believe it to my auntie and my grandma and Texas for Mother's Day. Hopefully get your own top my baby, then crash for them and stuff. All right, that's sweet. Keep this Sparris up as much as you can. Okay, thank you, Love you guys by love you back. All right, ask ye eight hundred five eight five one on five one if you need relationship advice or any type of advice, now you we got roomors on the way. Yes, we

are gonna talk about an icon. You're gonna hear what he has to say about music right now. Also, he's a reggae and dancehall artist who we all know and love. And why does he think that reggae and dancehall is not as commercial as it could be? All right, we'll get into that next. Keeping locked this to Breakfast Club. Good Morning, the Breakfast Club Morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee Sharlom and the guy. We are the Breakfast Club.

Let's get to the rumors. Let's talk Boojiebantan, she's filling the team. This is the rumor Report with Angela ge on the Breakfast Club. Well, Boojoo is quarantining and kingson Jamaica at home, and he has a new project, upside Down. And here's what he had to say about the new album and also the title, why do I choose a title upside Down? Well, if I listen to a song with all bredrens of mine, they will say to me, the song is body. I think the song is good.

Most of the things that we talk about we ascribe a negative connotation to it. Bob becomes good, right becomes wrong, Innocense become guilt, geat become innocent, true become fast, really become fig up becomes down, and we accept it all. I like that explanation. Yeah, that's my wife's favorite artist, so she's super excited. They ask some new music, right, and he also you know, he's on the Division album

by the way, in case you haven't listened to that yet. Um. Now, In addition to that, it talks about why he believes that reggae and dance hall isn't mainstream the way it should be. What did they say? They say regular music music? They say these rosta, I'm an outerly smoke marijuana, yes, and that's what you guys need to be smoking too, because I you understand. Yeah, And who benefit from all the drugs you're taking up? They're the farma suiticall companies. No,

who benefit to run the marijuana? They say in farma suit companies. We don't want to tell the people I'm in a lie. We have to tell the people the true and not just regular music. That's why we don't get the mainstream appeal and the mainstream behind us, because all our music is our music ab uplifting something inside of you, not outside of you. And that's so true. They always be like one or two songs that break through commercial on the radio here that'll be like five

years old. But I always felt like, you know, listen, all I listen to when I work out, when I go running is dance hall and reggae, so I feel them all right Now, Tracy Ellis Ross is talking about how she is happily single. She said, I want to be in a relationship, but I'm not going to spend time moping around. She did this interview. Actually, I'm trying to think when did she do this interview? She did a little earlier this year. It was before a lockdown,

before a coronavirus pandemic created this lockdown situation. Now, she said she has embraced being forty five, unmarried with no kids, and said that she wished she spent more time growing up dreaming of her life, not a wedding. She said it's one of the reasons I feel so strongly about telling the stories that I tell. I wish I had known there were other choices, not just about how I could be living, but how I could feel about the

way my life was. I was raised by society to dream of my wedding, but I wish I had been dreaming of my life. There are so many ways to curate happiness, find love, and create a family, and we don't talk about them. It creates so much shame and judgment. She also had said that people misinterpret being happily single as not wanting to be in a relationship. Of course I want to be in a relationship, But what am I going to do spend all the time that I'm

not in one moping around? No, I'm going to live my life to the fullest and I'm going to be happy right here where I am. Well, why can't you dream about your wife, I mean, your wedding and your life? Though? Isn't the wedding just a part of your life. When you dream about your life, don't you think about all of the different things that you would want to do in your life. Well, what she's saying is that they kind of program you as a child to just buy

and society to dream of her wedding. But she's saying that's not the only thing that you have to look forward to, and it is too People make you feel like, Okay, you're going to reach this age and you're gonna get married, then you're going to buy a house. And sometimes life doesn't happen that way and you can still have a fulfilling life and not do things in that order. So yeah, that's a part of it. The wedding. The wedding would be a part of it, you know what I mean.

You can think about you you can simultaneously think about all of that. You can think about a bunch of different things. Some things happened, something don't, So what now. Zoe Kravis says that now that she's married, she's offended that people assume she'll have a baby with her husband. She said, a lot of people ask the question and when are you going to have a baby, or say things like when's the baby? And I really get offended by people assuming that's something that I have to do

because society says so. She said, right now, I'm certainly not in a place where I think I'm able to do that, just because of work and also just I don't know, I like my free time, she said. You know, she does love her husband. She says, I feel like I've known him my entire life. He's one of the kindest people I've ever met. He's one of the most honest people I've ever met, And I feel like I've

known him since I was a kid, even though I haven't. Yeah, every everybody way to walk from me, she's offended, Yes, Like that's common sense, Like, you get married, that's what people say. Okay, remember that stony needs to do. First comes marriage, then comes to baby carriage. Like that's so that's not society, but that's not but that's not everybody's life. And yeah, when you get married, When you get married, that's a common sense thing for people to think. Are

you when y'all gonna have kids? Like, that's not going to be offended by. I mean, you can't tell people what to be offended by. But I can't feel that way, Like, I mean, you get married and it was next you know usually I mean just people like, I don't know, I don't think it's the person's intention to offend you when they ask you that is what I would. I don't think so all right now, Kelly Rowland is talking about being managed by rock Nation and how it just happened.

She said, it's family. She said of her new song also Coffee, she wanted it to be an expression of black beauty and the different variations and tones and body shapes. I was really just inspired by black and women. She also said that she's excited about her new album. She said, I'm excited for the fact that the years it took me to find tempo, the whole album's not up tempo, but I'm excited to share my tempo. I feel like I always had mids and slower records, but I'm ready

to dance. And the thing is, she said it before the Quarantine we were at the close of the record. That's when you're like turning the records in talking to writers and producers. But she said, it's not that it's slowed down, but definitely made things a little more challenging to navigate. We got this, but definitely her album is going to come out this year, so you know, congrats to her, congrats to her signing to rock Nation, and

you know she's been doing her Instagram live after dark segments. Also, if you want to hear some more about Kelly Rowland. All right, I love Kelly Roland. That's the good diver with chocolate goddess right there, good people, good energy always. All right, I'm Angela Yee and that is your rumor report. All right, thank you, miss ye now shout to revote. We'll see you guys later. Everybody else to People's Choice mixes up next, get your requesting. It's the Breakfast Club.
