Really, I thought it was like a holiday holiday with no it is. It is a real holiday, but you know people still were working. Okay. Well, I was in Houston all weekend. Shout to everybody that
came out to my car show over the weekend. Voice I am, I mean, I was out there all weekend long. There was over sixteen thousand people Um, it was just amazing the Houston versus New York car show. Houston showed up. When I'm talking about there with so many people, so many cars, so many kids, so many families, so many fathers. On Fathers Day, we had an amazing New York out the water. Yeah. Absolutely, like it was supposed to. There was absolutely supposed to. It was supposed to. Yes, I
mean it's it's their town. To shout to traded Truth. Shout to uh Lynn's Garage and Turkey Lake Hut. I ate a Turkey Lake Hut all weekend long. When I say I wasn't a big turkey fan, I don't. I don't eat turkey. It's not something I order on a regular But I was there since I think last Thursday, and I went to Turkey Lake Hut twice a day to eat turkey. That's how good that restaurant is. So if you get a chance to check it out, Shout
to Land and his wife. Slim had an amazing time. Also, shout out to a bunby who stopped through Slim Thug, mister Rogers. I'm trying to think of anything else, anybody else I'm missing. I actually went out to one of my favorite restaurants in Brooklyn, the Grill, because Danielle Rawlings, Earthquake, Bill Bellamy, they were all in Brooklyn doing a comedy show and so they all came to the Grill afterwards us saw everybody there. Lala was there also, But yeah, I had a good weekend. Shout out to the New York Association of Black Journalists too. I was at their juneteenth gala yesterday. I gave out
awards for their gala. But it was a good weekend, all right. On Juneteenth, we recommit to our shared work to ensure
racial justice, equity, and equality in America. One year ago, I had the great honor of signing legislation to establish Juneteenth as a national holiday, a day to celebrate, to educate, and to act. They were saying that these gas companies are this is the most money the gas companies have made, and you know, if they're making all this money, I don't understand why we can't lower the prices a little bit. You know, they said that they were gonna go into reserves to release some fuel. They made it seem like because of what's going on overseas, it's harder to get oil because more expensive. But if gas companies are making this much money,
it doesn't it seem like a little crazy. Yeah, And they're talking about giving like gas tax credits and all kinds of that doesn't make the price lower. I mean, I don't need to get a credit later on or rebate card. They're talking about rebate cards for gas. That's one of the things that they are considering. But I mean it's crazy. The nation, by the average for gas is just under five dollars per gallon right now. Yeah, it makes no sense, very expensive. I just don't understand.
I don't want to see anybody go out of business. I don't want to see gas companies lose. But if this is the most money they made, that just sounds like they're overcharging people. What was going on there? They had a huge event like they did last year at Liberty State Park, which was completely free, to bring your own tent, your own chairs, your own food, grills, liquor. This year you couldn't bring anything. He has to pay for everything. He has to pay to get in. The
vendors couldn't even sell bodies of water. An American dream all was selling waters for eight dollars. Oh make so they really trying to capitalize and pass it off at Juneteenth now already completely there too. Everybody, everybody who didn't get in could not even get a refund. They've been contacting them trying to dispute their tickets. People got trampled over. It was it was a message. Was it was it a private event where promoter took over and it was a party or was it just what it was? It
was a public event. They posted it on Instagram. They had it last year. It was huge. We knew it was gonna be huge this year. It was just completely expensive. Hookers were sixty dollars, refills were thirty drinks with Oh my god, that that doesn't sound like the American Dream, and that sounds like an outside promoter runned that spot out in charge. Y'all. I don't think the American Nightmare because I don't think they would have hookah there, you know what I mean? I mean maybe they who knows.
It's crazy because my friends and mail. She's from Jersey and she was telling me. She was like, yeah, American Dream. I'm looking at it right now. That's a promoter. So what a promoter does is a promoter rents out that that place. Let's say they charged him forty thousand, run out of the place. So that's who that promoter was. It wasn't the actual uh mall. Well, they claim it was the mall that was profident. They created their own bar.

shooting of the school that it's about mental health. If it's about mental health, why do they make medications so expensive? My co opinion alone from the medication that I needed from my mental health was a hundred dollars, and it took and the money I was going to use to get my nails done. Talking about milk, I never do for myself without doing my nails at home, I had
to use that to pay for my medication. I mean, it's sad that people out here, we keep talking about mental health, but they can't afford mental health because you know, I'm taking money that I want to do something for myself to go pay for a medication that I desperately need for my mental health. But yet you you all keep saying it's mental health issues, mental health issue. If it's a mental health issue, well mental health medication and clinics a little bit cheaper so people can afford it
or give them some kind of medicate or something. Because this is udiculous to pay for one hundred dollars care payments for the medication. And then the lady had the nerve to tell me when I want to pay for it. Oh you're lucky because the medication actually sixteen hundred dollars. Wow. Wow, Well, I'm so sorry, mama. You're right. These pharmaceutical companies really profit off of people having to go and get their medication. And I hate that you had to make that decision.

But she said that lawyers took five percent of the deals they negotiated but did not have a written fear ament or a conflict waivers signed by her, and said that they performed the services as a favor to Jeff Robinson, who was paid twenty percent commission for each of those deals. And then Sierra is also asking her label for her masters after they didn't believe Level
Up would be successful. She said that when she showed her label her plans for level Up and her project, they did not seem interested, and so she was telling ABC News. They hosted a sound of Freedom of duomting celebration with several celebrities. She said owning her masters has given her a sense of freedom and being able to

But they said, even with these prices at the pump there, they're predicting that the fourth of July holiday will be the most travelers ever. They said it's going to be more than forty two million Americans that will take a road trip of fifty miles or more
even though gas prices are hitting a record high. So a combination of vacationers and commuters could drive travel times to double the normal length at peak points on Thursday and Friday evenings, and some of the most congested routes will be around Atlanta bus to Chicago, LA New York, and Seattle, and so just get ready for that if you're planning to do any type of travel. I think people are also scared to catch flights right now. There were a record number of flights that were canceled over
the weekend too, So all kinds of things happening. People are like, I'm just going to drive somewhere. Yeah, it's crazy. I'm really surprised that they couldn't predict a lot of this. Like I do understand when gas prices go up a little bit, but we're talking damn they're double and almost tripl in some cases, and that's super duper expensive. Wages are not going up. The price of flights through the roof, so it's going to get difficult for a lot of
people out there. And I don't understand what they're doing. They're talking about releasing reserves and all that, but they got to do something. Yeah, I mean over the weekend. Man, they're saying, it's been crazy. American Airlines is also ending service to three cities, and that's because of a pilot shortage, so they're going to drop service to Toledo, Ohio, Ithaca, New York. All of this is because of that, and travel demand has been surging as people let trying to travel.
But it was a nightmare over the weekend. They said thousands of flights were canceled because of pilot shortage and because of bad weather, and delays have been crazy. I mean, and you know, I've damn living at airport, but it got to the point where all my flights are delayed at least two three hours. Like I feel like you gotta go somewhere the day before if you have to be there and it's an emergency, you can't even try to go the day of all. Right, now, let's talk
about Russian President Vladimir Putin's top spokesman. He is discussing w NBA star Britney Griner and whether or not she will be released soon. But he did not really give any indication on what's going on. Here is what he had to say. She was coming to take paunt in sports in Russia, effectively trying to build bridges through sports. It's a terrible message, isn't it. That she should be arrested.
It is also a terrible message to bring some forbidden essences and materials to this country, and he is prosecuted by Russian laws. The US government is now approaching this as a hostage situation. I would strongly disagree with that. We cannot call her hostage. She violated Russian law and now she is being prosecuted. Now, they did ask why they didn't just refuse her entry or send her home, and he said he could not comment on a Russian
law enforcement's decision. Now another they're also talking about some American veterans that have been captured in Ukraine. And you know, the spokesman said there that these gentlemen will not face the death penalty. Here's what he said. Russian television has broadcast interviews with two Americans captured in Ukraine, Alex Druki and Andy. When where are they, who is holding them
and what happens next? There are soldiers of fortune and they were involved in illegal activities on the territory of Ukraine. They were involved in firing and sharing our military personnel. They were endangering their alive. They should be held responsible for those crimes that they have committed. Can you guarantee that these Americans will not face the same fate? Now,
I cannot guarantee anything. It depends on the investigation. Now, when he talked about the same fate, they're talking about two British citizens in American who were sentenced to death by a Mascow backed separatists in eastern Ukraine this month. So can you imagine if they're there and they get the death penalty, then who's who's that speaking? Spokes Yeah that's yeah, that's a spokesperson, but I'm from spokesman. Yeah, that that is insane, And and it was getting to
