Sit year, fifty percent rat to sit down, coming the most prominent form for you. Wait yo ass up early in the morning, but they tell me it was y'all. I said, oh, hell yeah, I'm getting the world supposed joy smaller ship three people's choice, ni lets, I got you jommad people who I can't believe if you guys are the basket people we know this breakfast club pittition, Good morning Usa yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo

yo yo yo yo yo yo yo. Good morning angela Ye, good monnay's any Cholomagne. The god piece of the planet is Friday. Yes, It's Friday. Yeah. I'm not even gonna sit here. Um uh subscribed to sound excited. I feel like I don't know. I feel weird, right. I feel weird because on one hand, I'm extremely happy about Ja Electronica and jay Z's project A Written Testimony Dope album. But then on the other hand, I really, really really am leaning into the uncertainty of this whole coronavirus thing,

and I really don't know what's gonna happen? Like, do you think about where we were a week ago? Right where we are now, where we was gonna be at a week this time next week? Now, you're right? And what I'm saying, let me I want to shout out to my wife. I know she's sleeping, but she was ready about I would say maybe about a month ago. She started predicting this. It was like, we gotta start getting stuff now. And I started I was joking her. I Rudy, go bird her, go bird her. I was

laughing at her. Yea, I read that. Whatever shut up, you know, me and the kids were laughing. But she was ready. She went out there, she got water, she got toilet tissue, she got toilet paper, she got paper towels, she got canned goods, frozen goods, she got charcoal just in case that you know, they turned the gas and powerful, yeah she is. That's why you gotta have a queen at home. As my wife went and did the same

exact thing yesterday. You know what I'm saying, got me tons and tons and tons of food and perishable canned goods and items and all kinds of good stuff. But now I'm perishables I'm freaking though. Whatever. You know, I'm not the wife and my pops. You know, then you gotta respect older people, right with respect to my pops. Man, I love my mom and my dad, so I called my dad on my popts lest. I'm like yo, I said, you got water? Said you're good. You want me to

bring your case of water? He's like, no, I'm good. I said, well, how many cakes your water? God? He said, I got one? I said, well, what do you need if we need more that? He said, well, what I used to do when I was a kid is you poured water from the forest and then you boiled it. I said, well, what about tiltisian? He said, Now I'm good. I said, what are you gonna do? He said, well, the words could the worst. I got newspaper. He said, back in the day, if you needed it, you would

went to newspaper and wipe your ass. He said, that's what you gotta do. He said, Page six is just in between your ass. Whatever, he said. The man grew up in a different area. Nothing wrong with that, people, I'm in Detroit right now. I was at Whole Foosh last night getting a whole bunch of different things. It wasn't that bad out here. Oh it's crazy out here. It's crazy, it is crazy. But in Detroit, I was a Hopeful's no line at all. It was stocked. Everything

was there in plenty of water, plenty of everything. My wife like three different grocery stores yesterday in order to properly get everything that. You know, we can't even say what we think we need. Yea, we don't know. We don't know what's gonna happen. Like I'm seriously think about where you were at this time last week, and then think about where we could possibly be at this time next week. No, it could be really, really disgusting, but you know, just just try to be prepared. I went

to the the gun store. I got some some mammo. You definitely gotta get them. I got some ammo. I got dog food, so me and a dog would be all. You know, he'll be good. Um, America's just not ready. Just gotta be prepared for whatever. Yeah, America's just not ready for this kind of this kind of pandemic at all. But I'm still gonna try to live my life as much as possible, though grossly unprepared. Yeah, well, everything I

was supposed to do got canceled. We had a concert that was going to be out here as a ship build. I had a shopping spree when it's shopping spaite e. Somebody win three thousand dollars to go to the mall out here to go on the shopping spree that is, Yeah, that's canceled right now. So yeah, everything shout out to my girl cast out. She was kicking off her constant tour.

That's all getting postponed right now. So everybody has to, I guess, not be concerned so much about the money that we all were anticipating to make, but just safety. Maybe we're about your life and your health. I mean, because you know, somebody sent me something yesterday and they said this was all the all the pandemic planning was focused on a flu variant, not a novel virus, and humans have no immunity you know, vaccine and therapeutics to

this virus, So what are you supposed to do? And and the test that they got it incriminally incredibly limited testing ability. So it's just like, what are you supposed to do? It's probably way more cases than being reported right now in America? What are you? And I do have a lot of sympathy for people who get hourly wages and get paid, you know, when they go to work, and what plans are in place to make sure that people can actually still have money and people have bills

to pay and things to take care of. So that is something that I'm sure it's a concern because we don't know how long this book go on. Yeah, and as wise it may sound, money don't matter, money means money don't matter because everybody is in the same exact boat.

I was gonna say money means nothing caused jewelry all that means nothing, right, Yeah, But for people who are living check to check that have bills to pay it that are concerned, you know, they have to put some type of plan into place for people who can't go to work but still have rent to pay, but you have to put food on the table. I'm hearing from people that are very concerned about there. Everybody's very concerned. Nobody's gonna be able to pay rent, nobody's gonna be

able to play cardals. The government's gonna have to help people out. It's what I'm saying. They got to figure that out. It's gonna be you can't care I mean, you know, I have a bunch of properties where I have tenants. If they can't pay, I can't say get out. No, I have to understand it's nothing I can do. And the ultimate plan is really just stay healthy, keep your kids as healthy as possible, right because you know, I would much rather have to deal with the money problems

that have to deal with health. Sick kids are bad home. That's it. Yeah, right up, all right, Well, let's get the show cracking. Angela Bassett will be joining us this morning. We'll kick it with the Queen in a little bit. I love being in her presence. That don't make me feel better. And from patients, what we're talking about. You know what we're talking about, Okay, coronavirus. Coronavirus, coronavirus. And

congratulations to Jay Electronica. He released his debut album last night at midnight and we're gonna get supposed to have it. He was supposed to have three different listening sessions, but they all got canceled because of coronavirus. Yeah, he did one in La. Well, this is a ghost of he didn't do it in La. He just he did it wasn't the what it was supposed to be. Oh yeah, but he had a bunch of people in there. He had a little a listing session. Yeah. If somebody was saying, there,

he's still there now. If somebody would have sneezed in there last night, everybody would have hit the floor like a gunshot went off. My goodness, where here's the Ghost of Soldiers? Slim Jay Electronica, jay Z, it's the Breakfast Club, good Morning. I would be honest with you, I didn't know if J Jay Electronica could meet my expectations. But I really, really, thoroughly enjoyed this goddamn album. I didn't even think it was really coming out today. I definitely didn't.

I'm gonna tell you something. I love the title of Written Testimony, but you know, mere mortals sit on the throne, Black gods sit on the Wheel. They should have called it watched the Wheel. Goddamn. It still great project, dropping on the clues bomb for Goddamn. By the way, that song you just heard, Jay Lectronica also produced that, so he produced I think five songs on this album. Now. That's my only If I had one little nip picky hip hop head critique, it would be one thing. But

I wish just blaze. I just feel like Jay Z and Jay Electronica it should have been some just blaze production on the right. I just feel like that. I mean, you know that one Swiss did. I think Swiss did. That's hard, That's hard. I mean the album, it's a great project, a phenomenal body of work. Albums thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed. I had to wear both my my God body chains this morning, had to put on my honorable Elijah Muhammad piece and my Malcolm X piece this morning. Okay, that's

I'm feeling. All right. Well, let's get in some front page news where we start with you. Well, coronavirus eis numbers. The coronavirus has infected more than one hundred and thirty two thousand, five hundred people killed nearly five thousand people globally. Now in the United States, there are five US states that are closing all schools over fairs of coronavirus. Those

states are Maryland, Ohio, Kentucky, New Mexico, and Michigan. And then their cities also like San Francisco, Denver, Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, Houston, Seattle, New Rochelle. They're all closing schools as well. So in South Korea, they're saying coronavirus cases are continuing to slow down.

In China, coronavirus case numbers and death toll has continued to fall, so they've had some recoveries as well, and a lot of people are recovering from it, but it is still something that we want to make sure we're cautious about. The Canadian Prime minister's wife has tested positive for coronavirus. A diplomat at the UN has also tested

positive as well as the CIA. They have they've identified a suspected case in its workforce in Washington, and a Brazilian who met Donald Trump has the virus, and Donald Trump still says he has no plans to get tested. And the NBA Donovan Mitchell also has coronavirus. He is the second Utah Jazz player to test positive as well, and Rudy Gobert, by the way, He has apologized for his actions from the Utah Jazz. He said, I want to thank everyone for outpouring of concern and support over

the last twenty four hours. I have gone through so many emotions since learning of my diagnosis, mostly fair anxiety and embarrassment. The first and most important thing is I would like to publicly apologize to the people that I may have endangered. At the time, I had no idea

I was even infected. Now, Charles Barkley has announced that he is self quarantining while he is waiting for his coronavirus test results, and Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have shared an update after they have revealed that they have coronavirus. They said they want to thank everybody down under they're in Australia who are taking such good care of us. They said, we are in isolation so we do not spread it to anyone else. There are those for whom

it can lead to a very serious illness. We are taking it one day at a time and there are things we can all do to get through this by following the advice of experts and taking care of ourselves and each other. Yeah, I mean, it's way more cases than are being reported. They have a limited ability to test or they're they're just they're way more cases than being reported. And I don't think people know how it's spreads easy. I don't think people know if it's droplets.

You know, people are focusing on surgical mask and an environmental clean up, that's good. But if it's airborne like people need respirators and isolation and you know, just just staying out to wait. Yeah, staying out the way is the most important thing. But that's your front page news. Get it off your chest? Eight undrip five eight five one oh five one. I know you guys probably got a lot on your chest. Will call us up, let's

talk about it. Yeah, we here the event. Use us to vent while you can, because I don't give a damn. I ain't coming next week if just if they visit, if it continues like this, I won't be here next week. God damn. It ain't enough lights all in hand sanitized in the world. All right, it's the breakfast club. Come on in the breakfast club. Wake up, wake up, your time to get it off your chest. Whether you're man or black, we want to hear from you on a

breakfast club. Hello. Who's this Derek? Hey, Derek, get it off her chess bro I'm just wondering why the world is panicking over a virus and no one is promoting our own health, keeping our bodies healthy, I mean people, And we're going out buying paper towel and toilet tissue, and nobody is talking about keeping your keeping your immune system healthy, keeping true. Yeah, with vegetables, that's juice. That's all I've been hearing. King, We've been talking about that.

Yesterday we were saying, by get a lot of vitamin C. Make sure you get a lot of fruits, vegetables. All of that are juice bars open. Yes, zinc, we talked about getting zinc vitamin C. I've heard no one talking about that. And I'm sitting there watching the news and I'm watching a grocery line go by with forty people in it and they're standing next to the fruit section,

all lot of things messing. All I've been here. All I've been hearing is you know, people being told to like wash their hands, make sure that you know they got the proper vitamin C. I don't. I don't know. Maybe you listening to the wrong things. I don't know to tell you. Yeah, I mean I talk. I've been talking about it all week. Did my wife we got enough vitom to see that? Asked me? Two years I watched I watched CNN News and local news and not

one person. And I think also when they tell you to do things like treat it like it's the flu, you know. I think that's we know how to treat the fluid. A lot of bodom to see and stuff, right, So it's kind of the same thing. I would think, Hello, who's this Antonio? What I get it off your chests? Bro? Yeah? So I'm here in Atlanta, and I was just gonna say, you know, I kind of agree with man pretty much saying that alstomun uh virus is really best thing we

can't kind of do. I mean, it's a pretty crowded city. It's kind of harder steway for people. Yeah, I guess I think the best thing. I mean, I don't know if everybody you know leeting guided as the game, but you know, crazy and hope that everybody gets me absolutely, Brother, thank you for caling. Hello, who's this? Good morning? This is Angel has my Ready Hill family. Good morning doing well? How are you? I'm doing well. I was calling about

the virus as well. I'll work in the hospital and I really don't think it comes from no watching, no hands, because we wash our hands twenty thousand times a day and we have over just me working there at night, we have over I know, three hundred people that come in there thinking that they have this virus. Now, I will admit everybody that costs me do anything, I got the virus? I think I got a virus. No you don't it. Don't claim it everything that you feel I

got the virus, No you don't. So I want people to stop thinking that everything, every cough, every sneeze is the virus. That is not true. But don't we gotta be better safe than sorry, though, don't we gotta at least see you do. But if you think about it before, now, how many times do you wash your hands and protect yourself from washing your hands all the time? We use it all the time. So I really think it's from

people breathing on you, just like hepatitis. You know you don't if you were a customer service that's the most dangerous job at this point right now, because you come into contact with so many people. Do you think people gonna tell you where they've been exactly? Then I'm gonna be botuto. Oh I went on the cruise, I went here, I went there. You just need to really really protect yourself step back when you're talking to people. I mean, people think it's funny like, oh, I don't shake my handle.

It's not funny. It's really not. This is become a deadly epidemic right now. It's not funny. I haven't shook hands all week. And I think, I think that we all need to plan our own little isolation strategies. Somebody was saying stay six feet away from people, because she's absolutely right. We do not know how it's preys. If it's droplets, then focus on the surgical mask and environment to clean up. If it's a borne we need respirators

and complete isolation, complete isolation. Get it off your chests. Eight hundred five eight five one O five one. If you need to vent, it's the breakfast club. The morning, the breakfast club. This is your time to get it off your chests, whether you're man or blast. So people to have the same in We want to hear from you on the breakfast club. Hello, who's this dog? Prince dog? What I'm getting off your chess? Man? We can all agree it's been a horrible year so far. Yes, but

god damn it. We finally got to jail Electronica album and I'm not on every track. Yeah, I'm not gonna lie. I felt like I felt like and I just felt like this. I felt like this was the quiere for the coronavirus. When I started listening, I was like, wow, but I know it's not. But I just felt honestly depression. And I have to say this publicist, because I have performed to let's not forget hold of Jailstronica on almost every track. That's even more surprising. Yeah, hold it, I'm not.

I didn't want to have this guy. I didn't want to have this conversation so early. But what I'm sorry, man, Hope did kind of chip up jail Electronic go on every track now when I heard it. When I heard it, when Jay would playing it over, I g live. My thought was, man, jay Z is really bodying a jail elect on every rang. But when I don't agree with that, well,

because that's your friend. But when you when when you when you listening to it, when you listen to it, it's it's not it's closer than it seemed when you first heard it. But not Jay and phenomenal jay Z and phenomenal on this album. Definitely not because that's my friend.

It's because I think Jay Electronica is very skilled. And let's be clear, Jay Electronica went out there to get jay Z on one song and that was it, and you went to LA for that, and then they ended up doing this whole entire collaboration because jay Z was so inspired. Yeah, jay Z was inspired. You could tell because you watched your elect on every record. Hello, who's this? Hi? Es Courtney Court. Without getting off your chests, I just wanted to talk about the coronavirarts. I'm in medical school

in Buffalo, New York. Luckily, we don't have any tastes at the moment. I know you guys have a lot, but it's just crazy, like we still have to go to work everything. She's still going here, and I don't know. I think it really sucks that like a lot of health professionals and government officials just don't know how bad it's going to get. So I guess that's so scary far. But I also think this is a lot of mass eterea. No, I don't think though I thought so at first, but

now I don't think so. I think that it's all warranted, especially when you see what's going on in Italy. You know, we America, we we we're not We're not ready for that. We're not ready for this type of pandemic. And and I also think that being that they hesitated so early on and you know, they didn't do the proper containment, I think community spread is way higher than people think. Hello, who's this Hi, good morning, it's Gina. Hey, Gena, get

it off your chess. Okay, if I called yesterday about the kids in school, I just have a little update. Um, I have a kid in junior high in high school. Um, you call your uh the attendance teacher, and it's an excuse absence, you know what, Gina, at this point like that, At this point, I don't even care, I said, at this point, I don't even can. I pulled all my kids. I pulled you know, I got a senior, I got

a freshman in high school. I got a first grade at kindergarten, preschool or my daughter was a little upset. I told my daughter she could wear her dress and we gonna have a prom in the crib. I said, she got three different guys. She could dance. We she could dance to me, Logan and Jackson. I said, we're gonna have a graduation ceremony at that at the house. She could walk down the stairs I'll play the music

with the confetti like it is what it is. We're gonna make the best of this, and we're gonna, we're gonna we're gonna put it all on on YouTube so y'all can see. Y'all gonna be part of it. But my daughter's gonna have her prom and her graduation ceremony at the crib. I would definitely enjoy that. God bless you guys, And I just hope that everybody stay safe

and healthy. And I just hope that maybe that little info helps you guys out a little bit, you know, tell your why to call the school and then you know, yeah, it's funny. It's funny when you become your parents, right because, like you know, I find myself saying things My daddy would say, like I told my daughter, you said she's in the sixth grade. I'm like, you're not going to school tomorrow, you know, we might have to be out a month, And she was like, what if I get

left back? So you rather get left back or die? You have to do get left back? Like it's my dad, But if it's true, like you ever get left back, it's gracious. I would be schooling that funny thing was when you look at it the leven you're a way in her options? Um which one? I don't want to get left back? But that wild Let me think about this that I tell you back to now, let you know them all. That's why I'm taking my ass home soon as possible. I can't wait to get home and

just bunking. Now, get it off your chests. Eight hundred five A five one oh five one. If you need to vent and you can hit this up. You've got rumors on the way, yes, but you're all going to be talking about of course this day Electronic cut album that's out. Also Mark Cuban, he has a plan in place and that is going to help out everybody who works for him. All Right, we'll get into that next. Keep a lot. This the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the

breakfast Club. We're dealing the taked morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, angela Ye, Charlomagne the God. We all the Breakfast Club. Happy Friday. Now let's get to the rumors. Let's talk Mark Cuban. I reached out Okay, okay, angela Ye on the Breakfast Club. Well, Mark Cuban, the owner the Dallas Mavericks team has actually made sure he put a plan in place to play to pay hourly workers because of the stoppage of everything that's happening due to coronavirus. Here

is what Mark Cuban had to say. I reached out to the folks at the arena and our folks at the MAVs to find out, you know, what it would cost to support financially support people who aren't going to be able to come to work. You know, they get paid by the hour and this is their source of income, and so we'll do some things there. We may ask

them to go do some volunteer work in exchange. But you know, we've already started the process of having a program in place, and I don't have any details to give, but it's certainly something that's important to me for I mean, he's worth four billion dollars. He can do that. You gotta do that, man. You gotta have some empathy for people in a situation like this, because nobody America wasn't ready for this type of pandemic. So you got you

gotta have some empathy. Off you a CEO like that, absolutely all right, So I am glad that he's doing it. Like I said earlier, you know, our concern is also for people who have hourly wages or get paid to come into work, and right now they're concerned not just about coronavirus and their families, but also when this is over, if I don't work for two weeks, a month, two months, three months, who knows how long? How will I take care of myself and my family. I wonder if Dolan

will do that for the people at the garden. Hell no, I'm just joking. I wonder if a vote will do that. All right now, listen, they need to use the garden of the quarantine facility. It ain't good for nothing else. Especially the album. His debut album is finally out after signing ten years ago to rock Nation, and people are really excited about it. Now, let's talk about this, because there's ten songs on the album. It's about forty minutes.

He was supposed to have three different listening sessions yesterday. They all got canceled due to coronavirus. I was supposed to do the one in New York, but that didn't end up happening, unfortunately. But what did happen was people

got really excited for the album. So let's talk about some things because it does also feature jay Z throughout, and here is flex capacity there with jay Z addresses the NFL quote sellout brow when Rock Nation brunches, that's the peace ball, now, believers, I created my whole stuff evidence for your reverence. Why would I not have a watch like a sawny prince and foils the slave that

shook hands and humbled the duka? Are you the spook that spook sterling server and frols talks him without that might not be call your visions or sugar problems for all of them boys been going here. Well when I said, out of my ready wrist, don't make no sensor to come on money didn't go del the whole NFL fish didn't one handed like o'dwn handcuffed to a jail, I would have stayed in the shot. None to think at

the tap of the ship themselves. You got stabbers gonna turn me back to the OJ He's not who you want to see. He's not as sweet as the oya. Yeah, body that you caught a shot a little scrape now jail Electronica and as a Kiels will, he talks about how people were doubting him and doubting that this album would ever come out. They say, what's gonna never happened. But I survived another land Like the Jacksons, you never swallow slammerst live, I said, the devil satisfaction. I still

got my glitter gloves. I still got my glitter size. No moon walking on your couch with many sippers on my jacket. Jay, So I started on Tanaquen, but now I'm wa out of the bagel. But Master Force made my same bomb in the light now like it's the hour chaos to black Steelers on me right now. Some ask me, Jay Man, why come for so many years you've been exempt? Because familiarity don't breed gratuitude, just contempt the price of sanity. It's too damn high, dislike the brand.

That's Jail Lex's best verson on the album to me Ezekiel's will, I wish the album was named Watched the Wheel, by the way, because me and mortals sit on thrones. Black guards sit on the wheel. Dropped on the clues bump for Jail like a hole. God damn it. Ja definitely killed that album. And I know Jail for a long time and him coming around just being a good person to hit him finally put this album out. Man, I'm happy for him. I think it's a really dope project.

Happy for I think it's a really dope project. But keeping mind there both talking my language on this album. A lot of Ny Farrakahon, the honorable Elijah Muhammad talk okay, high levels, acknowledge yourself. So I'm very very biased. But when I stepped back as a forty one year old hip hop head, just sonically, I love the project. The only thing I'm disappointed by the fact I don't hit no Just Blaze production and I just played product you to be nice, but the production is still dope on

this out. Yeah, but I would just expect Hove in Jail elect to have just played production because they've had really big records with Just Blaze. Yeah. Well, Jai Electrynica produced like half the album himself, so I know people are gonna be hitting hitting him up for production. But one thing he said was his BT just like makes stuff that he wants to rhyme on. So the hell would ste wait for ja electronic beat? You get that beat ten years later? Righty to be dope, He'll be

fine when you're kidding be a decade later. Now, another album that came out was Blue Face. He has released his Finding Beat album. I think that's a hard Segrede. Well, I'm talking about new music that's out. You know, we go all over the place. Here Gun a Little Baby, polog the Baby, um Ama Jay and Elie Choppers, Donna for Vegas, Jeremiah Why being the Mayor all featured on the album. So here is some Blue Faces new project featuring the Baby. Obama put up like Trump and like presidents,

you're like Obama, j car my Puller strang tip. But let's see. I'm like Trump and like presidents, you're like Obama, bad Car, strang tip, but let's see. Yeah, I'm listening up strings in New Jordans. I like it. What Gucci with for us your free one because you're not important, I'm the prettiest chopping. That's a lot. And that's to try to give me indoors. Everybody wanted to talk about. I don't got the time. I'm gonna have to give

an apartment. If you don't set the departments, the pop up you bring up cousin docs when he locked up. Not a bad record, slut to salute to the baby, but m Alexa player goes to Soldier Slim for Jai Electrynic comm Okay Alexa played another new story about Jail Electronic and jay Z Police. Jesus Christ all right. Little Uzi Vert also has revealed the cover and track list for his Little Oozy Vert Versus the World sequel that's

gonna be out at eight am this morning. So a lot of new music that we can hope he just put it out on my last week. He sure did, and now is there's another one. I wouldn't mind, and Jail like trying to could do the same thing when you keep people waiting like that. No, let me digest this first. Let me let me live with it, give me a week. Louisa Gate was a week, I take another. I'll take another Tenni song from Jail like next week. Nah, I need to live with this for a little bit.

Let's give me some time with this. Let me digest, let me hear every word, because you know this thing is that you miss in the first or second listen. Let me let me let me digest this a little more. I love when Judie says, no civilization is conquered from the outside until they destroyed themselves from within. A little Wayne has announced his Vegas Drey's residency and that's gonna

start this Saturday. I wonder if that's still going on and what's happening in Vegas, because I know a lot of things are getting canceled, but he is supposed to be at Drey's nightclub this Saturday, is part of his residency. I don't know what's going on. I said, the wind canceled everything, so I don't it's it's yeah, it's gonna be a tough one. I don't know. I mean I've seen people probably the last night there's but still things going on tonight. I don't know. I don't think can

people travel to Vegas? Will you get on the flight to go to Vegas? I don't know. They got like free Corona parties, Daddy, Now, that's what you need to do this weekend. If you're gonna have the club open, you gotta give away free coronas. Corona should be giving off sponsorships all throughout the weekend. Corona be here, should be giving off sponsorships through the weekend to every club. Free Corona nights, free Corona before eleven. You don't think so? No,

maybe give out masks and gloves and hazmat suits. Maybe that maybe a hazmat party, but I you know, I don't know about the whole Corona thing. You gotta be a sick club angela ye, And that is your rumor report. No, literally, you gotta be a sick individual to be in the club this weekend, because there's no other reason you would be out other than that. Do you feel like this is it for you? Maybe that's maybe maybe you see see you played, you played, I really want calling I'm

out of bay, I'm out of here man. All right, man, that is your rumor from pace. It was next year what were talking about. Yes, we'll give you the story of a woman who has survived coronavirus and she's gonna talk about her early symptoms and what she did. That's what I wanted here, all right, we'll get into that next Keep it lock just to Breakfast club God morning. Because that's the difference, doesn't mean that the impact won't be the same. This guy, we're having a debate in

the studio about the bubonic plague versus coronavirus. And I'm telling our white cameraman Steven, that you're comparing something in the beginning stages to something that you saw all the way through. And he's telling me that, oh, so you're getting on your face. I know you're not getting us on your face, and I'm like, yo, you can't, you know, just just because just like, trust me, trust me, trust me, you peasant, don't touch me. Don't touch me, man like,

hold on, let me put this on. Let's pray. American need a humbling. Let's start with Steve. Let's get some from a NEWSI American need humbling. Bro. Yes, let's talk about the NBA. As you know, everything is shut down right now. Here is Adam Silver talking about moving forward? Of course, it's possible. I mean, I just don't know more at this point. One of the things we want to do during this hiatus, and this is one of

the things. I had a meeting with our general managers and team presidents like this afternoon by a conference call to talk about how are we going to use this time decisions as to whether the players will stay in market, will they be rejoining their families, what's the best way to keep them them safe, what's the best way to keep them in shape? You know, all those things are still on the table because this has happened so quickly. Yeah.

When he said the best way to keep him in shape, he was talking about Zion wis Zion wins in a month off, bro, he was just getting in good playing Shape's gonna get big again, all right. And Charles Barkley, he has gotten tested for coronavirus and he is self quarantining. Here's what he said. I spent earlier part of the week in New York City. When I got to Atlanta yesterday, I wasn't feeling well. I talked to a couple doctors and they told me to self quarantine. So I started yesterday.

This is my suck up day. I haven't been feeling great and they didn't want me to take any chances, so they told me to quarantine myself for four to eight hours. I went and took the corona virus test. I have not gotten the results back, so I'm just common in limbo right now. All right? So yes, Now let's talk about a woman who is actually who had coronavirus and has actually survived coronavirus. Elizabeth Schneider. She's thirty

seven years old. She said she had a relatively mild experience and she treated herself at her home in Seattle, Washington. She has a doctorate in bioengineering, and she said she was sharing her story to give people a little bit of hope. So US health authorities say eighty percent of cases have been mild. The remaining cases that needed hospitalization affected mainly people over the age of sixty and people with pre existing conditions like diabetes, heart disease, lung disease.

She said she started she started experiencing flu like symptoms February twenty fifth. The symptoms occurred three days after she attended a party that was identified at a place where at least five other people caught the bug. She said she woke up she was feeling tired, but it was nothing more than what you normally feel when you have to get up and go to work. She said she felt a headache coming on around noon than fever. The body aches. She left her office and went home, and

she had a one hundred and three degree temperature. She said, at that point, I started to shiver uncontrollably. I was getting the chills and getting tingling in my extremity, so that was a little concerning. She did take over the counter flu medication, called her friend to be on standby in case she needed to go to the hospital, but the fever went down the following days, so she assumed that she didn't have coronavirus because she didn't have the

symptoms like coughing, shortness of breath. She was up to date with her flu shot and all of that. But when she visited her doctor, they told her go home, rest up, drink large amounts of fluids, and she enrolled in a research program called the Seattle Flu Study, trying to get to the bottom of this. On March seventh, she found out that she did test positive for coronavirus, but her symptoms had already subsided by that time that she was diagnosed. So after you get it, are you

immune to it? Are you good after you catch it once and survive? Its needed the things that we don't know, Like I heard that you can get it twice. There was a person and you know what, there's so much misinformation out there, so I don't know what's true and what's not. So she beat it it over the counter medicine. Yeah, well she beat it just because the majority of people will beat it. The majority of the cases, like I said, are mild. So yeah, that's why I need to hear

more survival stories. Okay, but I'll tell you this, I hear that story that you told just now, and I'll feel all of that this weekend. That's the way my anxiety works. My mind will play tricks on me this whole weekend. So I gotta keep telling myself you're you're you're fine until you're not fine. But then I don't know if I am fine because I need to go

get tested to make sure you're not fine. Right. Well, you see where her symptoms were, so you know that is basically if you feel any of them, and that's what they are. They were, and it don't help that business. It's allergy season and you know people people still got to still but people still catching the fluid cold and stuff. And be looking at his cup before you sip out of it because you're not sure. I'm not, but I'm

also you know, I'm thinking past it. I'm thinking like my kids at home, I got to start teaching them. I got to start going to what I mean, you want to teach them why we don't even know what's going on? No, not what but the first grade stuff. But daughters leaving first grade early, so you still want to keep her on that same Oh, no, we know. We gotta find a kill for this. Please please, please, God, please, we gotta find a cure for this. We cannot have

Envy home school and nobody not dj VY. Please please, Flord Lord, let me pray God, God, please find a vaccine for this buyer. Nope or sometimes my kids. Let this pass because we cannot have dj NV at home homeschool and his kids. Please, in your name, we pray. A men, a lot, a lot. If you've ever listened to me, please, that's not what we got. Do the numbers alphabet from my kindergarten and pre pre k No, man, Yeah, we gotta go through all that, all right, some business

books seeing about real estate guys, Yeah, why not? Got all right? I say, I want to talk to you, Steve. You sa you always go too far. That is your not talk to your kids. Talk to Steve. That's what we're talking to Steve. My kids I'm talking to. Don't want you to treat your kids. Next, let's talk to him about real estate. Don't talk to him about nothing else. Talking to about every league's gonna talk to a hut about everything, all right. Now, when we come back, let's

open at the phone lines. Eight hundred five eight five one o five one. Let's talk to Corona virus. How are you feeling out there? Yeah, man, let's just all be scared spent a little bit. I'm telling you, you got it. Like I told you yesterday, You've got to lean into the uncertainty of this whole situation. Man, Nobody knows what's gonna happen. Nobody needs to try to act like they know what's gonna happen. Just lean into the uncertainty of it, and hopefully out of all of this

confusion it'll be some type of solution. I don't know. All right, Well, let's talk about it. Are you prepared? Did you get enough food? Did you get your water? Did you get your toilet paper? Did you get am or if you needed to get Ammo? Did you get everything that you needed to get to make sure that you can survive for a couple of weeks, just in case everything gets shut down. Do you have some money? Let's talk about it all. How do you feel out that eight hundred five eight five one o five one.

Let's discuss id just to breakfast club, good morning, call in right now at your opinion to the Breakfast Club top breaking down. Eight hundred five eighty five one five one the Breakfast Club. It's topic time. The phone called eight hundred five eight five one oh five. Want to join it to the discussion with the breakfast club, talk about it morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlemagne

the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Now, if you just joined us, we're opening up the phone line talking about the Corona virus. Now. I want to apologize to my wife because when she started talking about this a month ago, I was laughing at her. I was joking, I was making fun of her. But thank god, she started preparing a little early. I mean she started getting water, toilet paper, canned goods. I mean, we got so much

macarona and cheese is ridiculous. We got charcoals so if the gas and electricity goes out, we can barbecue outside. I mean she got candles, light bulbs, all the cars are gassed up. She was really in play, like she made sure she was gonna take care of that and take care of our family. So shout to her. It's crazy how in a situation like this you start combining all of the different emergency techniques you've learned, like you get stuff from that you would use for hurricanes, snowstorms.

You're just combining it about everything because you don't know, you don't know where this is gonna go, you know. And that's that's my biggest thing, is just like yo, you really just got to lead into the uncertainty of it all. Like we can't fight against reality. We can't fight against the universe, and the reality of the situation is we simply don't know what this is or what this will be. Yep. And I don't think money is gonna be an issue, and money doesn't matter right now.

I know a black of people be like, oh, well, how am I gonna pay my bills? Nobody's gonna be able to pay their bills, nobody's gonna be able to pay their mortgages, nobody's gonna be able to pay their car notes. So I don't think it's gonna be a problem. I think it's gonna be one of the things where the government's gonna have to say, you know what, We're gonna have to just hold off on mortgages and things like that. People are gonna have to have empathy, you know.

It is what it is like it's not. I wouldn't downplay that though, because there's people that really are in financial behind, so that just adds stress to everything else. They can't let it bother them. I mean, the most important thing has to be their health. And they say, when you all stressed out, it weakens your immune system. So you you you gotta just let it roll off roll because they don't. People don't have to say, oh, you don't have to pay your mortgage or you don't

have to pay your rent. That's not necessary. You can hope that people are empathetic in a time like this, but I think we have to work for us. If you work for a small business, the small business might not even be able to survive if they have to pay people who aren't working and they're not making money. I agree, but I just think that your path to freedom in this situation is just embracing the fact that

uncertainty is essential. App Like, you can't force a solution in this situation, like because you just don't know what that solution is. You just got to allow solutions to spontaneously up here, So do a drama is doing right now? Just put your hand sanitizer on and stay away from people.

That's the other thing, like we need to really be focusing on mitigation at this point in time, and they need to be creating some corona type hospitals because honestly, that's a scary thing to me too, right because you got nine hundred thousand hospital beds in the country, correct, I think it's like ninety five thousand beds in the ICU. So imagine all of these people start getting you know,

putting to the hospital for coronavirus. But then what about people that are dealing with other regular everyday things like pregnancies and broken bones. But we're heart attack, we gotta we gotta, we gotta shut down, and we gotta be empathetic. I know people said, well, we gotta care, but you I mean, it's what are these points like, for instance, uber drivers, these people like what a uber driver is gonna do? What a taxi cab driver is gonna do?

You know, what are these people are going to do to pay their bills and to make sure things are okay? We can't necessarily we have to be empathetic to people and really help one another right now, like we have to help each other, need to practice social isolation and corona social isolation, isolation, the corona. I'm talking about the bid company. Y'all need to sponsors some Corona. I'm serious, sponsors to corona hospitals, like build some facilities strictly for

coronavirus patients. Goodness, I'm telling you, Hello, they got the money. Hey, come on to wish your name. My name is Jennifer from Queens. Hey, Now what are your thoughts? How are you feeling out there? So, I mean as of right now where I'm not really panicking. M I feel like everyone's being a little bit too much at the grocery store because they're like leaving nothing and everyone's like kind

of going a little bit too much. But I think I am a little bit nervous on the inside, just because being a single mom and being the sole provider and living paycheck to paychecks, it does get. It is nerve wracking when they want us to talk about shutting everything down because the job doesn't care. The job is just like wor some gloves and wash your hands. There's no work from home, right, they can look at us,

we're not working from home? Yeah, so I mean, and then they say, you also say, so what about if they shut down schools and they're like, well, you'll just cross that version room and get there. And I'm like okay, yeah, you know yeah, And that's part of the thing. I'm like, they don't care. You're trying not to worry because, like I said, you know, I pulled all my kids out of school. They have they all have no school next week,

all the schools to shut down. But like you say, you know, for people who got to get to work, how do you get to work? And you gotta watch your kids. You know, you got babies, you got small children. You can't leave your small children. It's gonna be very difficult. And we're really gonna have to work with each other to send you this article that's gonna scare the hell out of you. And please don't get no sentence to headline. The headline is, could New Jersey be past the point

of containing coronavirus? Some experts things? So why would you send that to me? Because we need to be aware. We live in New Jersey eight hundred five eighty five, one on five one. Let's open up the phone lines and just listen. How do you feel man? Call us up now, It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, morning, everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne the Guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Now if you just join us, we're talking about just how you feeling out there, the coronavirus

and the news, the press. We're just taking your phone calls. Hello, who's this? This is Michelle. Hey Michelle, good morning, Good morning, Envy. How are you doing? I'm doing well. I actually just listen to your podcast for your wife yesterday. Oh thank you? Which one? Which episode did you listen to? My best friend? But I love you? Okay, okay, alright, alright, Mike want to get us. Give a quick shout out to my husband. He's on the road right now getting that morning gun. Yeah,

I love you, Stefano. I hope you have a good day. Now. We're talking about the coronavirus. What are your thoughts? How are you feeling out there? I'm kind of nervous. My best son of twenty three years is supposed to be getting married next month in a rubot and I'm a bides need. Oh boy, ain't none of y'all gonna be in my way until I scan you with this goddamn temper to make sure you only got no fever. Hi, Charlemagne, I call you. I watched all your YouTube videos. Thank you.

I appreciate that. You know. Hey, Hey, what's that Bill? How are you doing over there? I'm good. I'm in Detroit, so I'm worried, but you're you're good. I'm sure is she canceling the wedding or what is she doing? Um, we're not sure yet. I've been trying to be a good support order and you know, not asked. I called my mom about it. She's like, don't ask. I'm saying nothing. Just wait. The problem is my husband and I were in a We're in a Georgia right now, one oh

seven point seven. But um, we were gonna fly out to New York to see a concert of like an Italian rapper that my husband likes. His name is Samo. I don't think it's gonna happen. No, we just got to notice yesterday that they're rescheduling in to October, so we're gonna have to fly out of Atlanta and hopefully see But these prices are ridiculous. Yeah, prices are very cheap for flights right now. I mean there's there's a couple of things. Prices are cheap for flights and even

mortgage rates. I was telling Aboud yesterday, if if you have a mortgage that you're paying four point five percent or five percent or whatever it may be, the mortgages I think are gonna go into low two. So if you can refinance, that'll help you out a lot. That'll lower your payments by a couple of hundred dollars a month, which can absolutely help you. So just look into things like that too, because I'm you know, I'm the finance guy. Would it comes to real estate, so I'm always looking

at ways to save money. Well, what would your best advice be in this situation? Quarantine yourself, quarantine and safe. Yeah, I know, but social distance my best fund? You said, what why should I tell my best friend? You know it's gonna be devastating. We've been fun to twenty three years. Wait wait, wait minute, why you She might not make it to her own way. I don't think she will act like you're acting like you're the only person that's gonna show up to a rub. But we're all in

this together. Her and her group may not make it to a rule. But what you mean, what you're gonna tell your best friend? You tell your best friend. You should see the group chat at the body Stace got going one. You gotta tell a bunch of females. I don't know, man, I just feel bad because they probably paid a lot of money for that wedding, the dress that you know, the the hotel, the food, the flowers. I mean it sucks, but I mean I'm gonna be honest with you. Like to reschedule it. You know, we've

been on the phone with you too long. Somebody, there's been ten new cases of corona detected since the time we've been on the phone with Thank you. Take two weeks for Simpson the shows. We've been on the phone with you way too long. BECA five five one five one. We're talking to coronavirus? How do you feel? Careless? Now, it's the Breakfast Club, Come Morning, the morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne, the guy. We are the breakfast Club. Now if you just joined us, we're talking

about the coronavirus. Man, it's how are you feeling about it? I mean, it's all over the press, all over the news, all over media. I don't know how you should feel out, but I keep telling y'all just lean into the uncertainty of the whole situation. Man. That's it. Stop trying to figure it out. Like, maybe out of this problem, out of this confusion, out of this disort, out of this chaos, some solutions will spontaneously emerged. I love my dad's mentality.

I just ate there. My dad was like, look, you know, you gotta do what you gotta do. I mean, he was like, if I run out of a toilet paper, hey, who cares, I'm gonna use newspaper. I just wet a little newspaper. Hey, That's what I did when I was a kid at times. So I'm like, I love the way that my dad reacts. He was like, yeah, you know water, Yeah, I would just boil water. It is what it is. You know. I'm not there yet. Let me tell you. I'm driking green tea right now. I'm

eating oranges, apples, drinking plenty of water. I'm doing all of that right now, just to make sure I have all my essential vitamins. Yeah, and they say take vitamin C and zinc. That is the best and I've got. And you can go to vitamin shop they still have vitamin C and zinc if you need any of that. You know, Amazon is not delivering anymore right now too, So if you were ordering stuff on Amazon, they put a heart to all of that. Hello, who's this? Yeah,

it's you guys doing to Chris. What up? Man? Oh Man? Look, all I gotta say is man, it's not that serious. In my opinion, I feel like I think the name makes it sound worse than what it is. Just like the fluid. If everybody say, oh, look, you got influenza, or the next person got influenza, or that person got in forluenza, that sounds worse than the coronavirus. Everybody kisses the fluid every day. The same thing goes for chrona, so anybody shouldn't be that afraid of it. I disagree

with you. I think the coronavirus is a very great name. I think that it's a name that could quench your thirst, depending on how you feel about coronas. But yeah, but at the same time, it's I feel like people are making it bigger than what it is. Like if I think that if if you got to over a hundred and twenty thousand people in afected worldwide, over five thousand deaths, I don't think that's making it a bigger deal than it is. Bro. I think it's just exponentially and that's

what it is like. Overnight, we see so many new cases. So if it keeps out going exponentially, it will be even worse than what it is. Every day is getting worse. If you if I got told you yesterday it was a dude that walked around the hood and you knew he killed five thousand people, you'd be terrified at that PERSONA the tree coronas with the same respect. Hello, who is this? It's Emilio's Breakfast Club in the morning, Emilio's popping man. We're talking about how you're feeling out that,

how you feeling brow? You got a new ball? Right, yeah, I got a new ball. Man. I'm not here feeling good. But you know, I'm not here to try to take the precautions because you know, they're saying attacking the immune system of the weaker ones. But the good thing that I'm seeing is that they're saying that babies and women are less susceptible, especially newborns because the breast milk, because all the anti bodies are in it. So that's good for me, and you know that puts my mind it

is a little bit. I didn't hear that, bro. You just you better get a second opinion. You should call your doctor just to make sure, because I didn't hear that that. Man, I'm still trust me. I'm still taking all precautions. I'm cleaning they go. You know, I'm doing what I'm supposed to do. So y'all take care to absolutely now. They did tell me children are doing better with it. I don't know my doctor told me that.

He said, because it feels like a lot of children who are in schools, they get beat up, their immune system gets beat up so much, so they're doing a lot better. But I'm still taking precautions. I ain't listening to him necessarily. So, um, what's the moral of the story, guys? The more of the story is the same thing I told y'all yesterday. Man, lean into the uncertainty of it all. That's all you can do. Don't argue against reality, don't argue against the universe. We don't know why we're in

this situation right now. We don't know what this moment is going to be. But hopefully in all of this chaos, you know, and and all of this, all of these problems a solution will emerge, and you know, hopefully we come out a better society for it. Let me ask you a real question, right I thought about this yesterday, but I wound up finding a toilet paper right now. My plan was if I couldn't find toilet paper, I was just going to borrow so from here because they could.

They fired me for that because I'm borrowing and when I get it, I was gonna give it back. You're gonna borrow it asn't give it back. You don't never give stuff back. I mean if if you know, when when things were okay and I could go find, I would bring it back. But I was gonna take to I don't know if I believe that though you still owe me some Metro cards you, Oh Dan, I gave you your Metro card. Stop it. I do love always firing things and never giving it back. So I don't know.

I think they should fire you for that because I know you're not gonna bring the toilet paperback. This Cloric's wife looked pretty good, all right. We got rumors on the way. Yes, we're talking about a season four of a show that I love that's coming soon, and that trailer is out. Also he had a lot of drama with his baby mom, cops involved in everything, but now they're engaged. All right, we'll get into that next keeping locked this to Breakfast Club, Good morning's tea. This is

the rumor report, Angela Yee on the Breakfast Club. Now you know how much I love Insecure. Well, they have the trailer out for a season four and here's a piece of that. I'm on this foward path. I'm focused. It's like no job, no man. All this sounds bad, but it's actually really good. It's good vibes over what's to learn? This on the intrograde, by the way, it's all good sects And when he danter down makes you laugh. What's the problem? Because I on here, I know that

you and Condola are friends. Hey, I'm there. You know I'm committed twelve Insecure is back. I'm committed to Insecure. I'm committed to Issa and Molly and Lawrence and Tiffany du Bois. I'm committed. I'm all in. I will be there all right. If you guys, remember what happened in the last season. She had quit her job, and so I guess now she's looking for something. Remember that that job she had it. We got y'all, and she has to deal with Lawrence's new girlfriend and all kinds of things.

So there you have it, and that's a great time to focus. She's right when you have no job and no man and Tiffany's pregnant, Tiffany due ball, Amanda steals characters. I want to see what that storyline goals. I see Molly got her little little little white white chocolate in the in the in the trailer. All right, now see the white Manelevision watching Secure. I'm gonna watch it now. I got a lot to watch now, so I got

a lot to catch up. Boy. Well it's not until April twelfth, so you got a little time, all right. Bow Wow tweeted out, We've done with we TV and growing up hip hop. Get y'all ish together until then we out ate no show without bow Wow know that? Good luck? So that was a tweet that bow Wow sent out. Other things that are getting delayed is Fast and Furious nine, if you guys have seen that. Originally

that seagal was supposed to be released this May. Now it will be released in April of twenty twenty one. That is in response to actions taken around the world concerning coronavirus. So I don't know. I guess they said globally they have to release it. Then. The reasoning is that it became clear that it won't be possible for all of our fans around the world to see the film. This may yeah, because you asteers is huge in places like China, you know, so you can't just put it

out now you'll lose money. And two Change has responded to some drama that happens online now. Apparently the Shade Room captured a screenshot of a comment that he left on a woman's page. The woman her name on Instagram is customized Emi, I guess, and he responded, go because she's looking like you know, she's got little sexy poles going on, and the Shade Room posted oop, the roommates aren't aren't feeling Two Change comment under this girl's profile.

To Change claims this is someone he is doing business with and it's strictly a working relationship. Well, two Change did not like that, because you don't play with that man's marriage, right, and he posted a screenshot of his text messages with the young lady. He said, y'all keep hitting me up about this lame ass Ish Shade Room posted about me and her. We've been working on her project and working on getting her on getting her out

of her current deal. Now that I explained that, and I hate to explain Ish, but when Kesha had folks calling her and talking, Ish had to straighten it. When Keisha had folks calling her and talking, Ish had to straighten it out. A bunch of lonely jealous no having assholes. So he posted those screenshots of the women and you know how everybody was reaching and you can see that they have a business relationship. It's a shame that he did have to explain that though from him leaving a

comment on this woman's page. All right, Antonio Brown has proposed, and he's proposing to his baby mom Chelsea. If you guys remember, there was a lot of drama between the two of them. There was cops call. There were different situations where he was trying to sue her a victor from one of his homes. The cops were called multiple times. But now it looks like they've patched things up. He posted a video of some music playing. He said, I just proposed at Chelsea and they're hugging each other. So

I assume she said yes. So if so, I hope that the two of them have it all the way together and then it works out, so we can hope for all right, I'm angela yee and that is your wan report. All right, thank you, missie Charlomage. Who you giveing that donkey too? A selfish ass person from Florida who needs to come to the front of the car gage because we like to have a word with him. He can't be selfish at a time like this. Oh dare you? I knew Florida was gonna find a way

to f things up even more. All right, we'll get into that next. Keep it locic to breakfast, cloub God morning. Make sure you're telling him to watch out for Florida. The craziest people in America come from the bronx in all of Florida. Yes, you are a donkey, a Florida man, a chap and ATM for a very strange reason. It gave him too much money. Florida man is arrested after definitely say he's rigged the door to his home and

an attempt to electric kid his present wife. Police arrested in Orlando man for talking a femina to Breakfast Club Bitchy Donkey other day with Charlom haining go. Why y'all keep letting him get y'all elected? Yeah, it's donk here today for Friday, March thirteenth, Friday the thirtieth, and Corona's playing Jason. Now, leave it to Florida. Okay, Okay, leave it to Florida. To Florida during a global pandemic. Now, I don't know if this person is actually from Florida,

but he was trying to get to Florida. Either way. What did your uncle Shalla always say about the great state of Florida. The craziest people in America come from the Bronx and all of Florida. And this person, who has not been named, was a passenger on a flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Palm Beach, Florida. Now on a regular day for most regular people, that

would be fine. But this passenger, who I believe is a Florida resident, okay, because only a Florida resident will be trying to get back to Florida at a time like this, in the condition he was in from NYC. Okay, But this person clearly wanted to get back home. I wanted to get to something so bad that this happens. Let's go to w PTV NBC five for the report. Police, you're in Palm Beach County. A man who tested positive for coronavirus. He flew in on a flight last night

from New York. Passengers had to be held there at the airport before they were finally released today, Jannon. It was a Jet Blue flight and in a statement today, Jet Blue says they thoroughly sanitized that plane and the terminal. They are also asking any passengers who don't feel well not to fly, and they are waving any fees for canceling. Meanwhile, today one man who was on that plane, sitting in the same row as the man who tested positive for coronavirus,

wonders today if he has the virus. It was absolutely shocking, especially when when I see the news, you know today, where as soon as we get off the plane, they're sending people on in hazmat suits. As others questioned, why would a sick person get on a plane at all?

The man was a dummy, you know, and considered though I was on that plane for five six hours with recirculating air, with a man who tested positive and to tell me that it's okay for me to just go home after everything I've read and seen, just it didn't seem like the proper advice. He had to be from Florida.

Either he's from Florida or he got somebody that he really really loved in Florida, because there's no way that you would be getting on a plane to go because you know when you're in that position when you think you guys won't be on people you love, right, He clearly had to be from Florida. Either way. It was selfish.

Is screamely selfish? Okay, you know they I used to hear people say things like they would get a stt STD test but don't go back for their results because as long as they don't know they have it, they will be fine. And I used to think that was the most ignorant selfish logic, because you're only worried about yourself, But what if you got it? You need to know so you don't share that dirty d with others. Okay, this person basically did the equivalent of that to me.

He got tested for coronavirus and got on that plane knowing he was awaiting results for the coronavirus test, and he didn't tell the airline officials anything. Now, because of this person's selfishness and recklessness, a whole crew and other passengers are possibly at risk of having that goddamn corona quimby. Okay, this is exactly why this corona quimby will be such a problem, because containment is over in the US, all right, America,

Folks focused on the wrong fact. It's in failed. Okay, community spread is way worse than we know, and it's only gonna get worse. Not to mention, they have very very very very limited ability to test, so there has to be way more cases than being reported. Now. These passengers on this flight, the crew have to wait four to five days for their symptoms to peak. Okay, this is all bad, all right. The way my anxiety is set up, I would be having panic attacks right now

if I was on this flight. Okay, we don't even know how this thing spreads. It could be droplets, and if it is, I'm bugging out because I didn't have a surgical mask on because I didn't clean up my seat when I sat down. If it's airborne, well I'm screwed because the only thing that can prevent that is complete isolation from those who got it. And that's not possible because you Corona carrier decided to get on the air carrier and possibly infect every damn body. Now everybody

carrying it? Okay, all to get back to Florida. All right, now, I was thinking about this. Would you rather disinfected person get on a plane? All? Would you rather rather this person drive? Right? Because think about it. When you drive, you gotta go through New York DC for cheating in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia. Then in the Florida think about all the people he would touch on the way they're driving, stopping to go to the bathroom, and all

of that type of stuff. At least flying, we know it's contained to this plane. Nabby, What you would rather be on the side of the road. He ain't gotta get out and talk to people. He ain't gotta open you win a little bit. Let me get the super fill it up. That's all you gotta do. You on the plane is one flight. You know the passengers, you know the p so I guess we can contain it better. But I say, f all of that. What needs to happen is if people think they got symptoms, they should

be tested and quarantined immediately. Okay, This is what I mean when I say containment is over in the USA. We are failing because we're focusing on the wrong things, not taking it serious. If you come to get tested, you have to be assigned to one place, probably your house, until we figure out if you have it or not.

No travel, no work, no just walking around. Okay. And because we don't have those kind of stipulations in place, situations like this happened and here we are pandemic, global pandemic. Please give this passenger the biggesty off. Yeah man, it's all bad, bro. All right, well, thank you for that donkey of to day. Yeah, it's all bad. Now, let's brighten things up a little bit. How can we do that now? Now, now you got this She from Florida.

She is from Saint Petersburg, Florida. That's right, fact, that's right, that's right now some things I love being in this woman's presence now. And I've meant Angela Bassett quite a few times, and I can honestly say that is the only person that I've ever interviewed on the Breakfast Club who always feels surreal to me. I'm talking about out of everybody, out of all presidential candidates, out of all the spiritual leaders, out of every celebrity rapper that have

been in here. When I am in Angela Bassett's presidence, it just feels surreal. That's the light. Now you know her nuts side. So we talked to Angela Bastide, Angela bathtt nuts all day. That's a queen you're talking about. If this is if this is what you call de ride Now I am a de Angela bathtt d rider day. Talk about the whole queen regal got this Preate's god damn play spatter fact. Make sure everything's wipe down all rights,

Angela Baskett. When we come back and wipe this whole thing down rights, It's the Breakfast Local Mortter, the Breakfast Club Morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela, Ye, Charlomagne, the guy. We are the breakfast Club. We got a special guest in the building. Queen. How are you miss? I'm doing all right? Thank you. Sorry we couldn't hug you in and show you a lot of love because it was coronavirus. You all kind of just gave each other the elbow a little elbow. Dad, What are you doing this day?

Coronavirus free? I know you got some home remedies. What you're doing. I'm, you know what, drinking water, Okay, swallow it down. I'm trying with the hand sanitizer and all that and trying not to uh, you know, work about it. Yeah, about much. I don't think so a little a little bit, you know, but I think nervous about what that does to us as a community. You know, you know, babies need that that touch, you know, to thrive, to to live.

And now we're distancing ourselves from each other physically. Maybe we'll have to stare into one another's eyes and right really see one another. Man. Social media was doing that before the coronavirus, keeping us right, you know what I mean? You got that on top of it. Yeah, that's that's that's an interesting interesting to think about. But no, I'm not trying to go crazy about it, just trying to you know, eyes open. It's gonna be a good storyline

for nine one one next time. Now, because you take things from real life, sus so, five of the six situations usually come right off, you know, right out of life. Does anything scare you anymore, Like, what do you what do you call nine one one for? I never know I have called nine one one for fire, Okay, you know the fire. You're also a neighbor, yeah, my house. But I'm a Florida girl, you know, trying to set a little fireplace situation, and you know, all we know

to open the flute and any of that. So it was it was getting out of hand. All the craziest people in America come from the Bronx and all the Florida and all of Florida agree. Yeah, I got some stories come up out of there, but you know, not all of them. Yeah, but congratulations on your NAACP Image Awards. We were at the awards. You were, That's why I saw you didn't like sing He wasn't and I were there. My daughter had a Chilean competition, and oh cheer. I

was there. I actually saw you talking to Lizzo outside before everybody went inside. I was like, look at that. That was an amazing picture right there, you and Lizzo. Oh. I was happy to meet her. I just knew she was going to win, you know, And but I didn't think she was going to be there because I heard she was gonna be in Japan, right, So it's like, girl, you here, hurt you, We're going to be in Japan.

She was like Corona. I was like, oh yeah, right, well the game, my game, the Image Awards are so we're so it's my first time going. Really, but that is quite a room and quite a feeling to be there and all that black power and excellence in one space and to see you get it there, make your speech. Everybody that was there. I got to hang out with Lynn Whitfield, which was really fun after that, and just to see everybody showing each other love. Rihanna was there,

black as everybody, and of course right that's right. I saw Angela Baskett. I was like, oh they go, Angela sit next to Tracy and Yarra Janelle. All around you saw a lot of a lot of love. It seems in the room when you're celebrated, not tolerated like the Oscars, absolutely absolute celebration and love and pride. You know, it

just gets filled with inspiration and pride. And now that they got it down to about two two hours show, it's even better because I remember going back, I would have protein bars in my bag, you know, they would have steak and chicken dinners, you know, at the end, and it's like one in the morning. He started five afternoon, you know. No, you know one You're like, oh my god, I'm fasting now, I just gotta go home. That's because they do the dinner now the night before, I'm splitting.

I did go to the dinner and the dinner was long. It was like I was like, whoa this is? And then they do the same award, but they only do certain awards I guess during the awardship, but the night before at the dinner, they give out all the awards. But that's all of them. Is the awards just as important as an oscar to you? Absolutely? Absolutely, It's it's

my community. It's who who has and continues to show me love and appreciation and always shows up, you know for me, and I recognize it, grateful for it and feel it. So it's extremely important. Do you need that kind of validation? Does Angela Bassett need the validation of any Oh? Don't like valid You know what Angela Bassett wants and needs to keep working well to do Yeah,

to do the work that I love doing. You know, awards are nice, super nice, they're great, but um, awards are awarded by men, and you know, man, I like it, you don't, you know? So what some awards are undeniable. Maybe some of the awards they give your life of that season, of that year, of those offerings. Some dan above and beyond. But sometimes it's you know, it's it's all about equal and all good. So you know how you pick one? You know what are you saying? So? Um,

I appreciate the awards, but I don't. I don't live and breathe for him. I don't you know what I mean. We were just talking to ice Cube and we were talking about the movies where we grew up, was so like they meant so much to us, whether it was Boys in the Hood waiting to exhale, like we don't see those type of movies were better. Why do you think that is? Well? I you know, sometimes we have successes. It's about copying of success sometimes, you know, as opposed

to uh, you know, some fresh ideas. Um, like Boys in the Hood, I remember where I was, who I went with with the theater, how it made me feel like I remember. I don't think there's movies like that that people live with like that. Besides black panther, but

I don't, I know. Yeah, and both of them were relatively young filmmakers, um, hungry and and really putting it all in there, you know, uh, successes and formulas, but they were really fresh ideas and stories and putting all of them into it, you know, with John at nineteen and and and Ryan so um, I mean, they're the real truth. It seemed free of back then, like those

seem like authentically black stories in the nineties. Now it seemed like black stories that have been pitched in a room of white people, and white people say I like this, but take this and add this, and that's what it seems like. Sometimes. Yeah, you get a room of suits trying to recreate a success and you know what you think made it successful? And your executive producer? Are you an executive producer on I'm one of them, one of

the executive producers? Is that important to you when you say I want to work on a project, but I need to get that credit as well. Um, I can't sit here and say I insist on it. But it's yeah, it's you because you're Angela Bassett. So I'm sure any project that someone us to work and you're like, well, I would like to discuss getting this credit as well, because you've earned that. Yeah, sometimes if they're offering it, they may offer it to get you, you know, as

part of the package. Right, what about you actually directing? And I know you did that time. I enjoy directing because I enjoy celebrating and pushing and you know, wakning others gifts and all of us collaborating and working together. So I appreciate, you know, what each individual brings to the puts in the pot, you know. But it's it's time consuming, much more time consuming than acting. And with in doing a you know, weekly one hour drama, I

can't can't get away. Well, like right now, this would be my time to direct something. It's hiatus, all right, we have more with Angela Bassett when we come back. Don't move. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, PJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne, the guy we all the Breakfast Club was still kicking it with Angela Bassett, Charlomagne yee. What incites you nowadays creatively? M directing? Very excited about that.

So we'll see the stage. You know, every time I come to New York, like last night, it was you know, yesterday I was in the theater Wood. It was Wednesday, so I got check out two shows. You know what we're saying. Those tickets are right now because of Corona two dollars healthy what Scott root show? Okay, every show on Broadway, but his shows. So actually going to see Westside Story to night? Saw sold your Story last night on Broadway? I saw I saw that on Broadway and

in London. And what did I see? I saw uh intimate apparel which is you know now an opera bla knowedge so Blair David Allen Greer last night. So you're not scared to go there? Do you bring your wipe? Do you wipe down the chairs? See the wood seats? How long does it stay on fabric on seats? Did I? I think I did a little squirt in the hand. That's it. And just get my hands to myself, my arms to myself are there? I was scared. I love

theater two one. Are there any movies that you've done in the past that you would like to recreate today? As we see people recreating or doing part twos? And well I hear that um they're bringing actually um waiting to excel the braw Way. Listen, that's amazing because between the soundtrack and the story and the plot, I could probably reset that movie where for word take get you and get out. Yeah, yeah, so that's it would be nice to see that. How would it like to shed

that character afterward? Like, because that has to make you feel like, you know, how you bring a piece of your character home with you afterward? What was it like to I live with that one too much? I live more with Tina, I think, don't you. I mean trying to learn the songs and then she inhaling or exhaling, so you you just really had to and the laugh and when she spoke, you know, trying to get bits

of that. So that would seem a couple of months after like you know, laughing like her talking like her kind of strange, but not as much for for exhale because maybe because it wasn't based on real life, so it's a character that came up with or whatever, right, but it was it was cathartic, It was nice. Nobody's clothes or anything. No, I didn't although some folks didn't do that. Yeah, the window or two before never never, when you watch what's logo to do it on Broadway.

That is that trigger it at all? You know, you think you will see something brand new. You're sitting in the theater, and it was like, oh, that's familiar, that's familiar. So it was it was it was an odd experience because I think I literally thought I was gonna see a different story and then then her life. But her life is her life and we covered in the movie. So it was interesting deja vu, right, very interesting Tina. And on Broadway too, I was like, how was she

running up and down here? Yeah? I was like, yeah, I saw her backstage in London. It was like, didn't expect the reaction. We were both like just crying, just just like you know, because when you play that role, right, like you talk about the manners of Tina, but you had to embody that trauma of abuse as well, so

that how that'd be hard to get up right? Right? Maybe? Yeah, it was especially like the you know the scene, the uh, the rape scene you know by the aquarium and stuff, and or him fighting and dragging you down the hall. But it was good to have a colleague, to have that with someone you trust them speaking with Lawrence, you know, to go through that because you know he really's got you, you know, got you emotionally, um and and just actor

to actor because the hours were long. It was extremely physical. You actually hurt for thirty straight days, you know, like you know, if you're not dancing, your lifting weights so elactic acid build up for thirty straight days something. Everything hurt. But you had to, you know, go on. And some of it was understood, you know, like um, dynamics within a relationship or man or woman or black love or or or violence or whatever, and that you take seriously

and like you say, it inhabits your spirit. And and yet we're making a movie. And it's like we're not just making a movie, but as we make this movie, you even living through it because you'ven watching the player. I would think you'd be flinching and everything. Because because I'm sure psychologically you gotta tell yourself, okay, I didn't go through that didn't. But when you get in that zone sometimes you have to stay there. It wasn't a matter of like, oh oh can I have something to drink?

Oh oh we got five minutes? Okay, Okay, back in it. You know you sort of have to well, I I have to stay like close to that seat. You know close to that that feeling, you know, I think it's getting better in Hollywood for black actors and act I feel as if they are, you know, more opportunity. Um, there was a time where where I knew it seemed

like I knew the name of every actor. It's not that, you know, when you could bring up that I was a familiar way they had mad But there's lots of talent that I'm not I'm becoming familiar with or not familiar with. So now wol another one one being renewed. Do you look at police officers differently since you're in it all day every day? Now I look at them different though I'm still scared of still wary, you know,

still wary. But I did train with a sister who was a sergeant when I first started in in LA in South Central, you know, and meeting her, you know, they started football leagues down there for the kids. A bring. I met her down down the South Central and Kindred Lamar and Rihanna putting on a free concert, you know, in neighborhood. Took the kids who were like some smells funny,

you know, Oh yeah, fine, yeah. Have you ever had anybody being route to you like when you were coming up as an actress, somebody that you looked up to you when you met them and they just went not nice. Oh m oh what that means? If I did, I forgot about it all. But because but I would always ask are they night? You know, you just you just hope those that you you know, your icons or those

that you appreciate it. You know. So when I met Sicily Tyson or Rostling Cash or you know, Gloria Foster, they were they were wonderful to me, and but you show them respect and they appreciated that. You know, they've been, you know, been through the gauntlet, you know. So no, no, I I like I said, I'm, I'm I appreciate the work that we all put in. You know, we all have various talents, gifts and abilities. And um I learned

that don't want you know, on what's love. You know, I think I grew up with it in Florida's some good come up out of that, you know. But on that set sometimes to direct what run in early in the morning after we had an eight hour turnaround, he forced your call come back in eight hours and he running the trailer and say come on, come out of here, come out of it's time to time to shoot. And it was like the hair person hasn't done her thing,

the makeup person hasn't done his thing. The costumer you know, we've card it and I hadn't done everything. It was like we all trying to serve this you know, this story and give it, give it out all and best, but everybody has a has a job to two right, you know, Okay, we're ready, And it was like, oh, oh oh sorry, it's you, damn right you sorry. Let's

all let people do their do their job. You seem like the type that not hold on it, no negativity, Like every time I see you, you just seems so unbothered. It takes me a minute if I go through something that I think to process it, you know, because I'm thinking it through. Nah, it happened and why did that happen? And how could I stop them? What's the best way to handle it? But once it's well, but I try to do you woo saw? Do you meditate? What do

you do? Pray? Don't mistake my presence for the event. Okay, we're all here. Well, thank you so much for joining us, Thank you for having me back. That's Angela Bassett. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Clubs. Yes, if you are planning to go to disney World, disney World will be closing on March sixteenth, on Monday. Now, they did say that the hotels and the retail locations and restaurants will be open until further notice, but the actual

park will be closed starting on Monday. Disneyland in the meantime is closed, and that is closed starting tomorrow. So that is only the fourth time ever that Disneyland has clubs to the coronavirus concerns. Yeah, social distance is the key man, you know what I'm saying. People can't be on top of each other like that. I mean now. Kevin Love has announced that he is giving one hundred thousand dollars to the Calves Arena to help support the staff impacted by the shutdown. He put up an Instagram

post on Thursday. He said everyone reacts differently the stressful situations and the fair and anxiety resulting from the recent outbreak of coronavirus can be extremely overwhelming. Through the game of basketball, we've been able to address major issues and stand together as a progressive league that cares about the players,

the fans, and the communities where we work. I'm concerned about the level of anxiety that everyone's feeling, and that's why I'm committing one hundred thousand dollars through the Kevin Love Fund and support of the Calves Arena and support staff that had a sudden life shift due the suspension of the NBA season. So hopefully other people will join him and support the staff as well. Slu to my guy, Kevin Love dropping a club. Good good, good, good brother,

one of the few white men I like. All Right, And there is a document entry that is going to be coming out and that is going to be discussing the tragic murder of Nipsey Hustle. That's gonna be airing on BBC. So that'll be on BBC I Player starting March twenty six. It's called the Mysterious Murder of Nipsey. They'll be trying to detail all the different theories around why Eric Holder even needed two guns to shoot Nipsey, all kinds of things. It feels like that hurts a

lot to even want to watch this. Why do people think that it's a mystery around it? Though I don't know. I didn't know there were a lot of different theories. Yeah, Like I mean, I thought we've seen the video. Huh, I thought we've seen what I'm yea, I'm trying to figure out what the mystery, like, what's the mystery behind it? Like, I guess that's all. We gotta watch the duck huh. Yeah, I guess right. Yeah, that's gonna be a hard one to watch. It feels like it's so soon still, you know.

All right, and I'm speaking of coronavirus shutdown. CBS's Late Show has shut down production, Wendy Williams has shut down production, the Tonight Show, the Late Night Show, all of that. Um, it will be ending production for now. So there'll be repeats on for some in some instances. But I guess we'll just keep you updated on what's happening with that, all right. Well, I mean, Angela Yee and that is your rumor report, all right, thank you, miss Yee. All Right,

Well I'll revote. We'll see you. I'm not sure when because you guys are shutting down for a little bit. Yeah, Revolt is shut down for the next at least two weeks. We don't know how long it's st up being, but definitely for two weeks, so it is not Listen, yes, revote shut down for two weeks quite often. Correct? Are they just blaming this on Corona think? So? Okay, well it was supposed to be one week next week, but

then I guess they took this week off as well. Yeah, revote quarantine yourself all the time order in order to protect Didy's money. All right, all right, we quarantine to protect the health of ourselves and others. Revolte quarantine to protected they's money. Yeah, all right, well, thank you, Revolte everybody else to people's choice. Mixes up Next, I just want to say shout to Atlanta again. You know, I'm doing my car show months away, but hopefully this will

be taken care of before then. So I just want to say thank you guys. You guys showed out man, and I appreciate. We're gonna have a great car show. I'm talking into existence because this will end shortly, I'm hoping. But anyway, the mixes up next, get your requested. Let's go. It's the Breakfast Flutting. Everybody's DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Now it's women's History Month. Who were ripping today? Ye? Today we are

representing a woman named Marie Van and Britton Brown. She and her husband noticed that there was a lot of crime in their neighborhood in New York and please were very slow to respond. So what she did was they filed a patton. They did a household close security system with the TV and the camera at the front door. This is back in nineteen sixty six that this happened. So here is MSNBC seven Days of Genius segment talking about Marie Van Britton Brown. It's Women's History Month and

we're celebrating the most influential women in history. Check out this phenomenal Wolcome. Inspired by her personal security risk of coming home alone after working odd hours of the day and night as a nurse, she created an early closed circuit television system to be used for home monitoring. Truly a first of its kind, her security system and its patent is the forerunner of all advanced home security technology in use today, making it safe for all to protect

their homes. Her original invention was comprised of keath holes, a motorized camera, commoditors, a two way microphone, and a remote control operated door The final element was an alarm button that could be pressed to connect to the police. Immediately recipient of a National Scientist Committee Award, Marie van brittan Brown genius, and that was another phenomenal woman in history. Yes had adds a Marie van Britton, a black woman who invented the TV closed circuit television security system. So

today we used those systems. She got the patent for that back in nineteen sixty six. Gotta love it, you have it right, yep, all right when we come back, positive notes, so don't move. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning e j Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne, the Gude we all the Breakfast Club. Yeah, man, things are crazy, bro. I'm be honest with you. I'm starving right now because I need to eat this oneing because I refused to order anything from any places. I'll just eat when I

get home. And I don't know what to tell you. All I know is that this time last week we weren't in this position. So it's very should I stay terrifying? It is very terrifying. You know what we could possibly be next Friday. There were a lot of people who weren't taking it seriously acting like, Oh, everybody's acting crazy for no reason. But just be careful to take care of yourself. You never know whom I get it. There's a lot of people who have it now that never

thought it would happen to them. And just stay healthy as healthy as possible. Keep washing your hands, ends, keep making sure that you eat properly, have a lot of vitamins, s a lot of fruits, a lot of vegetables, get your immune system going. And if you have anybody that's older that you have to look out for it, just make sure you let them know. Look, just stay away

from people. And I know Joey Bay on her and the view, she's actually staying home because she's seventy seven years old and she feels like she could be at risk. So just minimize the risk in any way you can. Yeah, I mean, listen, I was definitely one of those people. But that's America, right, because we've never seen anything like this.

So when we've been hit with so many different scares over the years, whether it was Sarzi Bowl, Zeka, all these different things that have killed thousands of people, we never have truly been impacted by it. But yeah, America, we really don't know where this is going, so we just have to lean into the uncertainty of it all. And that's my positive note for the weekend. Man, my positive note for the weekend is simply this, and I want you to remember this during this whole time. Real

courage is moving forward when the outcome is uncertain. Breakfast Club Witches, you'll finish it, y'all dumb
