May first? Right, today's May first is the first day of Mental Awareness Month. That too okay so dropped on a clues box mental health Away this month. Last night I was with the homie Shantidas that her silence to Shame panel conversation about mental health and anxiety and depression and all of that.
I want to say good stuff, but it's only good stuff because we're working it out and we're healing it. Okay, yeah to Shanta, So that's lovely. Yes, this whole month is a heavy focus on mental health. And yesterday we also had a panel for the Black News Channel. That's a new network that is launching in November. All black news, all the time, twenty four hours a day. Okay, did they talk about who's gonna be on the network? Um? No, that I didn't see. Well, you know what, we didn't
stay for the whole thing, that is true. It was for advertisers. And so we were just talking about the breakfast club and how crucial the breakfast club is when it comes to news and reporting on things that's happening in our community. Allegedly, I wouldn't trust us. Well, bun By will be joining us to his wife. Now see how relevant that is. All heroes don't wear capes, yes, and all heroes don't wear pants. But you'll hear the story.
Oh my goodness. All right, so we gonna kick with here, and so it's his wife and also their attorney will be here as well. Charles. Yeah, Charles, Okay, what they call him, big angry angry? I thought Charles was security. Okay, about six foot pull six five, big brower, big old guy from Texas. I don't think you want to get into a fifth fight with you, Nat, Probably Nat, and you probably ain't gonna lead with the fifth, probably gonna pull out that pistol on you because he's from Texas.
Dropping a clues b South goddamn it? All right two A y'all day, All right, Well we got FROMT page news what we're talking about. Yes, we are going to be talking about this deadly shooting at University of North Carolina's Charlotte's campus. That person has been identified in his in custody. Okay, that's when that's when gunna go wrong and we'll get into that next keeping lock this to breakfast club. Go come morning morning everybody you stee j m vy Angela yee Charlemagne. The guy we are to
breakfast club is getting some front page news now. When the sports last night, the Bucks beat the Celtics one twenty three one two blue the Celtics out. That's why I don't understand why Paul Pitt said after the first game is over, this series is over. It's a seven game series for a reason. But also the Warriors beat the Rockets last Night one, fifteen one O nine. They lead the series two old. Now that one might be a pretty much a rapp but I'm still not gonna
say never, not yet, still a seven game series. And also congratulations to CC Sabathia. He's the seventeenth pitcher in history to reach three thousand strikeouts and the third left hand and so congratulations to CC. I think CC's coming up here this week and next week. Run next week. Next week he has is h charity baseball game, which I'm gonna be a part of. In the Bronx stoping the clues bombs from the CC Sabathia shout out to CC. But position are you gonna play? I don't know. We
haven't worked that out yet. Definitely a catcher. I had to if I had to guess, if you had to guess from what I've heard, what you heard? Okay, what else he talks about, Well, let's talk about it. Very tragic, deadly shooting at University of North Carolina Charlotte's campus. Two people were killed and four people were injured. Now they do have the suspect in custody. That's Tristan Terrell, twenty
two years old. He was a former history major at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, and they are saying that he went during final presentations in one of the classrooms and started shooting and gunshots rang out just before six pm yesterday. Students were waiting for Waka Flaca's concert that evening, other people were preparing for exams if they had later on this week. The university tweeted out, run, hide, fight, secure yourself immediately. They also advised after where that people
contact their families. The campus did remain on lockdown for hours after that happened, and people are saying they have no idea why he did that. According to reports, he's autistic, and they are also saying that he went there to move to Charlotte two years ago with his father to go to school and he dropped out after last semester. Who's everybody in Charlotte's seven or four. I love the Queen City and guys like that or the reason that I'm two a all day, But I believe in some
form of gun control. Yeah, really sad, And they're still in barter. He is in custody, But can you imagine being in school doing what you're supposed to do and hit this too much, man man. And did he have a legal gun? Is what I want to know. Did he actually go purchase a firearm from somewhere? I have
no idea how weapons. But he's being charged with two counts of murder, four counts of attempted murder, four counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intend to kill, possession of a firearm on educational property, and discharging a firearm on educational property. What do you look like? I didn't see a picture of He's right there, member of NI license yet again, the face of domestic terrorism in America. He said he had Aucasian males. You said he had autism. Yeah,
he was autistic, all right. Now, this was a huge debate yesterday online. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention sent out a tweet. You know what. That tweet said, don't wash your raw chicken. Washington spread germs from the chicken to other food or utensils in the kitchen by white people. They said, you kill germs by cooking chicken thoroughly, not washing. It's supposed to wash the chicken. Oh yeah. They said you shouldn't wash any poultry, meat or eggs
before cooking. They can all spread germs around your kitchen, as if Caucasians chicken wasn't trash enough, now you want it to be dirty too. Well, I definitely the chicken cooking. I definitely will wash my chicken. I will continue to do that. And you should wash everything in the kitchen that touches the chicken, and then you wouldn't have to worry about Yeah, this is crazy. Just wash the sink
out before you put anything else in your sink. If you watch I'm a confused person who wrote that offish don't use a wash rack that I am sure of, because all you gotta do is clean the chicken and then clean the utensil. Well, I'm not gonna lie to somebody here behind the scenes who said they also don't wash their chicken ever black or white. White. Of course, Stephen, you're gonna wash the chicken. I'm not gonna say anymore. You just cook it. Goodness gracious? All right? And Facebook,
only two white people hid. So let's use the process of a lit not Steven. So Dan, you don't wash the chicken, you know it's Steve. Oh Steve, Yeah, I guess they both don't. If you don't wash your chicken, you don't wash it. I truly believe that. And Instagram is gonna test hiding public likes. So in other words, you know people are so concerned about how many they likes they get on Instagram, Well now they want to
hide that. So they're going to start with a small test in Candida, small percentage of users, so the legs will only be seen by you and nobody else will be able to see that. So I mean, I don't that's not going to do it. Like, I think that they should hide likes, and they should hide views from us as well, because that's what gives you, like that that feeling of us, and they shouldn't have it at all. Who's going to see it? I don't think you need it.
I think that's what give people that that feeling, like that adrenaline rushed that high. It's like hitting a drug. When you see how many lights you're getting, you see how many views you get, that's what makes people do dumb things to get more of those views and mortals. Like I think they shouldn't letting anybody see it period. And then what people to do is just take picture of their likes, to take picture of their views and posted. That's what that's what they'll doing. I mentioned that will
slow down people's social media consumption. That if they couldn't see their likes or couldn't see their views, if they just was like, probably couldn't get that satisfaction. I'm telling you, I guarantee you it's slow down people's social media consumption. Well, I guess that's what they're hoping. No, that's not that's that what they open. I mean, they're hoping that it'll make people not be so anxious. There's something about all right, well that is your front page news. All right, thank you,
miss ye. Now when we come back, get it off your chests eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. If you need to vent, you need to just release, or maybe you want to spread some positivity. Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. Here just now is the breakfast Club. Come morning, the breakfast club. Wake up, wake up, wake y'all. This is your time to get it off your chest with your man or blas. We want to hear from you on a breakfast clove. Hello,
who's this hig the morning? I wanted to get off my chest. Okay, go ahead, mama. I just want to talk about my daughter father. He was like, it's just not physically abusive, but mentally abusive. And I had to leave him in order to better myself. But yet he doesn't do anything for my daughter. I do everything for my daughter, and I just want to know, like, how
can you sleep every night? No one let you don't do anything for your chout at all, right, and that kid is gonna come back to him later on in life, which is disgusting. It's crazy. But I do everything from my daughter. I'll pay all my bills. I may not have money, but all my bills is paid and that's the best thing. And my child is taking care of But she's young and she doesn't understand what she thinks that every time I go with my daddy, like he's
going something, but he's not contributing. How can you sleep every night knowing that you do nothing for your child? Have you asked him that question? I told him that many times, but I got something for him to say nothing for the rest of three then where he comes child before time? Does he have bags under his eyes? No, he has no bags on his eyes. And the crazy thing I mean, he's sleeping, helped him get a job, take care of the kids when I was pregnant and
he stucks nothing. And see people have such a having a child support. But in cases like this, you gotta do what you have to do. Thank you for calling mamma your child one child really anyways, shout out to Brooklyn and the league. Yes, shout out to Burglar Day. Women from Burger hand out business, just like you're handling y'all business, making cool decisions when it comes to who they lets you their club up. I don't think that people can predict. Sometimes in the man would be like
to what's up, Tori, get it off your chests? Brother always shot the man. Many talk about not washing the chicken others man or you're like going down with our girl at me, who's gonna eat the airy? I'm telling you, hey, if you don't wash chicken, you don't wash your ass. That's just how I feel. Readywhere That's what I went exactly. That's why that's why I said, whoever came up with that, whoever did death, don't don't you don't use the rack
to wash that ad Alicia, good morning morning. How are you. I'm doing well this morning? How are you guys doing? Doing great? And good? Get it off your chests. That's good, So frankstood. Foremost, I want to get off my chest to my husband. He's been saying that he doesn't want to be with me, and then the next day he wants to be with me. Well, if you don't want to be with me, you should just send me those of what saved us, because I'm ready. Don't you send it to him? Number one? Why you got to say
that you're husban over the radio. I have sent it to him four times and we're still married. So yeah, maybe or maybe he doesn't want to Maybe he doesn't want to divorce you. Um, well he said that he does, so I don't know. I can speak out of don't worry to me. Okay. It's a little strange, but ahead. And then, second of all, I want to say to my son, mommy loves you, and good morning. All right, all right? What's his name? Shout him out? His name is j J and he's three. Okay, J Sharida, Hey day,
how are you so Sharia? Get it off your chest? Mama. I just want to say, y'all gonna play this so white people day? Oh wow, you're not going to wash the tickett. First of all, yeah, Okay, y got don't cook y'ard ticket, and now you're not washing it. You don't even cook your burgers all the way like your Oh my gosh, I'm not even it's nothing wrong with a medium burger or aren't go front me does not cook his ban medium medium is the best way to eat sea and every days it is comment on this
meat stuff nop for y'all. Next. When I used to eat burgers and steak, I used to get everything well done. I just couldn't even look at anything that wasn't all the way. I like my stuff burnt. I can't talk to you. You know what it is with those studies, so I would like the pick either. We gotta stop. We gotta stop letting. We gotta stop letting white people speak for everybody, because when they do those studies, it's
a white person that's doing them. They're probably pulling other white people, and then they're putting out things like don't wash your chicken. He said, he wants to say something. What do you want to say, Steve? Come on, put your lips on the mic. You guys have changed my mind. I'm gonna start washing my chicken. You should ain't anybody knows chicken black people, that's right. Oh wow, you know
what you're fired? Goddamn fresh off the caucas mountains, y'all who shild I did like some chicken over dost terrorists Americans hit us up. Now it's the breakfast cluggal morning, the breakfast club. Did your time to get it off your chests, whether you're man or blessed, So you better have the same energy we want to hear from you on the breakfast club and go hey, how you doing okay? Can't be worth than Steve got fired today. I think they didn't watch their ticket. Yeah, man, what's up? What's
exactly what happened? I never get through, So I just want to ask the guys a question. Ye you can time into, but how do y'all feel about a man like not working and holding down the foundation and then just always making excuses. So then you have like a public eye or like from church or different you know, different aspects of us saying like don't beat them down. It's hard out here for especially a black man to
get a job. And that's that in the third. But as the female holding everything down, like, how like what's wrong with that picture? I mean if he's actively trying to get a job. If he's actively trying to get a job, he's not sitting at home all day playing goddamn video game video games, you know what I mean. And he's actually out there trying to get a job every day. I mean, you gotta bear with him a little bit because it is hard out here to get jobs. Well,
is he actively trying to get a job? I mean actively action thing? I don't. It doesn't seem like it. Oh, well, he's playing around, he holding down to forty, I got kids? Is he making sure the house is good, taking care of kids and all that barely? Yeah? Well, I like to be I like to be around people in general who are go getters, who are motivated, my friends and my man. Yeah, and I feel like a man's job.
Things I've I've you know, questioned, but if I questioned it too much, and it's like I don't even reminders. I'm you know, I don't need I don't need you to be my mom or Da dada, Like you don't think it's already hard, And I'm like, but I still need to know. I still need to be a part of it. Like you know what I'm saying, like at least update me or something or tell me your train, Like yeah, I feel like a man's job is to protect and provide. So if you're not doing you know,
those two things, then and my good luck, mama. I just needed some clarification because it's been literally both sides, Like, you know, I go to church, I pray and then I'll go to church and literally the next sermon is, you know, it's struggling for a man, you know, as a black man in general, to get a job and to be supportive of it. You know, like it's just different. And one more thing, was he holding it down before and then he like lost his job? She hung up?
You hung up on her. That's very important too. If if he was holding it down beforehand and then he lost his job, you know, you don't want to just kick him to the curve. You've have a chance to get back on his feet. Kevin, Yo, keep on, keep on what's up, Keep on what's up? Kevin? People really down there New York getting rid of about trains. You know what everybod you tell me, trains gonna stop. People do. When they asked us to do those commercials, we said
the same thing. People still get need by trains man like, it's like it's hard. That's all I wanted. Man, I have a big chocolate couple on what's up your how's everybody? So check it out? I saw the Avengers movie right, and here's my impressional one. And here's the black Panther from Wakanta. I'm outside the studio and I want Charlemagne to come wipe my elephants behind right now. Damn the sad part about it. You actually get that from thought before your laugh at your own jokes like it was fun.
No yound like sound like somebody who don't wash their chicken. Kid, get it off eight hundred five eight five one on five one. If you need to vent, you can hit us up at any time. Now, you've got roomors on the way. Yes, let's talk about the Obama's. You know they have this TV deal, So tell you what Netflix shows and movies they're working on. All right, we'll get into that next. Keeping lock this the breakfast club, Go morning, the breakfast Club Morning. Everybody is DJ mvy Angela Yee,
Charlomagne the guy. We are to Breakfast Club. Let's get to these rooms. Let's talk fifty's filling the team. This is the rumor report with Angela Yee on the Breakfast Club. Well, it looks like fifty cent has an alter ego named fifty fifty. Yes, that was petted by Petty too, Rando Emmett and Rando Emmett. Fortunately for him, paid fifty cent the million dollars that he owed him and he posted yo fifth, Sorry we had to go through all of the craziness this weekend. Glad we are settled up, wishing
you continued success. He doesn't want any problems. But now fifty cent has his eye on young Buck. Now he posted help David Brown aka Young Buck free himself from fifty and the go fund me is for a three hundred thousand dollars and he posted help young Buck get away from fifty Just make a donation and set your favorite rapper free. Fofty wants his effing money. Jesus Christ, what I mean? Fifty just has to have an enemy. I think that that's what keeps him going. It's one
of the forty laws of power. And never put too much trust and friend to learn how to use enemies. And if you don't have no enemies, create him all right, And I guess Pete Davidson's in some good company now. Pete Davidson was supposed to be performing at Vinnie Brand Stress Factory in Bridgeport, Connecticut, but he did not end up performing. He canceled the show. Here's what he posted on his social media page, and this was also played
in the comedy club. Hey guys in Connecticut, I'm sorry that we had to leave the show before I got to go on. The owner of Vinnie Brand disrespected me and did something that I told him not to do, and I can't, you know, perform under those circumstances. However, everybody who got tickets to that show, I am doing a free show for you guys. Will figure out where it's going to be in the next week. Okay, Well, what did Vinnie Brand say that set Pete Davidson off
so much? Here's Vinnie on stage and no way in the world you know I ever disreston factory. You will see superstory that it worked for four years, Duo Church Rock on and then on and on. I didn't disrespect you. Your true journey guard told me to say what I said. And if you can manage journey guard, you should. Sorry
God Jurney off Wow. You know, that's a tough spot for a talent to be in because if you feel like a promoter or a venue disrespected you, then you don't have to perform, But then you don't want to let the fans down either. Well, what actually ended up happening was, I guess Pete Davidson does not want people to mention Kate Beck and Sella Ariana Grande his exes, and he wanted to make sure that they didn't refer
to them uh as they introduced him and show. But the crowd, I guess had an issue because Vinny them went on stage and told people that Pete said that. So I guess he didn't like the fact that he disrespected him by letting the audience know what the rules were. And then in a situation like that, the talent loses too, because I'm sure he has a contract of some sort. So it's actually costing Pete some money, right, so if he's gonna cost both Yeah, So if he really felt
like he was being disrespected, he got it. He got every right to bounce, you know what I mean. I listen, I'm grown though I'm not doing nothing I don't want to do. I'm the same way. If it can't you make it a joke. If you not, if it's personal to your life, not if it affects you you I mean, you don't know what affects somebody in what way? If I true, if something makes me feel awkward, I don't like it or ain't doing it? All Right, now, let's talk about Takashi six to nine, and we all never
heard of him. He's in jail. He pleaded guilty earlier this year the racketeering charges, and he is, of course cooperating, And what they are saying now is that he may end up having to actually testify against alleged gang members of the Nine Trey Gang, the alleged members of that gang. So what's going on right now is that some of the members have already taken plea deals, but there's five who may end up going to trial. And of that, they said there's less than three of those defendants that
may start their trial in September. So I'm all for that. We haven't had an entertaining testimony since Nino Brown. I would love to see Takashi on the stand. I think that would be great entertainment. I don't think it's gonna be that while you don't think so. Now, I think Takasha is gonna go up Dan and perform. I think so, man Takashi with his life, I don't think so. I think about me to talk. Takashia would come up here
and interviews and perform. I think he's gonna putform on that. Yeah, it's a little different though this is it's a little different. Now everybody know he's snitching already. He ain't got nothing else to lose. Yes, all right, now, let's talk about Barack and Michelle Obama. We told you about their production company, Higher Ground Productions, and the things that they'll be doing for Netflix that we do have some information on some of the projects that they're going to have released over
the next few years. American Factory that takes place in Ohio where a Chinese billionaire opens a new factory and an abandoned General Motors plant and bloom. This project isn't quote Upstairs, Downstairs drama that takes place in a fashion world of a post World War two New York City, showing obstacles women and people are carlor dealt with Fredick Douglas. Profit of Freedom that's going to be a feature length
adaptation of that book, Okay, overlooked. It's about the adaptation of a New York Times obituary column, which tells the story of remarkable people whose deaths were not reported by the newspapers. Listen to your vegetables and Eat your parents. This is a show from Creators that would be a series of thirty minute episodes that's targeted toward preschoolers. What in the name of Illuminati is that Listen to your vegetables, but eat your parents. I mean, I gets it to play.
People are here to take a little serious, all right. Cryp Camp it's a feature length documentary focusing on a nineteen seventies summer camp for teenagers with disabilities. I thought it was out now, I thought that was I thought that's a slur. I didn't know you could say cryp when it came to crippled people. I don't know. Maybe that's really the name, I promise you really before. I don't think peposed to be. Maybe that's really the name
of the camp that was in the seven Crypt Camp. Yes, and that actually that camp helped put the disability rights movement in motion. I'd rather see gang members, no disrespective people, but I'd like, if it's a TV show, I'd much rather see gang member. I don't feel like being depressed and said, maybe he's uplifting. Maybe. All right, now, Soldier boy was sent it's a two hundred and forty days in jail, so he has that, and he has two hundred and sixty five days of community service, and that's
for violating his probation. He's been in jail for like over twenty days already, and I guess he'd thought he'd be able to get out and it's not happening. The judge is saying that he did give Soldier boys some leniency. He was considering two years and stay prisoned, but he decided to instead give him two hundred and forty days. To Kashi six nine interrupted, Soldier boys come back in twenty nineteen. SOLDI thought he were just gonna come into
the year and take off to Kashis thunder. Nope, Kashi pointed right at Soldier Boy, go get him going out like Takashi six nine, and well he give them a nobody. That's almost a year. All right, I'm anel the yee and that's your rumor report. They always saying that lady jails are overpopulated, so they let people out early. Takashi snitched on Soldier boy. Run with that. You shut up man, everybody run with that. All right? We got front page
news next year. We were talking about, well, let's talk about a really tragic situation at the University of North Carolina. All right, we'll get into that next keeping lock this to breakfast Club. Good morning, breakfast Club. Your morning's will never be the same. A lot of flirty guys in this studio. Charlomagne just paid for my lunch this morning. First of all, it's called breakfast dumb, I said, I don't know, Charlemagne, pay for my breakfast. This morning's on drugs.
I owe somebody. I said, how you want it back? That's all I want it back? With interests, guys, kinky man, let's get some front page financial tips. This guy is kinky man. This guy's crazy, all right. Last night, the Balls beat the Celtis one twenty three, one o two. The Warriors beat the Rockets one fifteen, one oh nine, And congratulations to CEC Sabatia. He got three thousand strikeouts. Sees the seventeenth pitcher to do that. In the third left hand of so congratulations to CC and how dare
y'all front on Milwaukee? Paul Pitz had to nervous say that that series is over after one game. Knock it off, not with the Greek freak on the court, God damn it. Drop one a clues Bons for that man's name I can't pronounce. Paul just keeps saying Greek freak. There you go, all right? Well, well, tragedy at University of North Carolina and Charlotte gunshots just before six pm Tuesday, and unfortunately, two people have been killed and four people injured after
that shooting on University of North Carolina Charlotte's campus. Now, the two people who have been killed are reportedly two white males. Their ages and names have not yet been released, but they do have a suspect in custody. That suspect
is Tristan Terrelle, twenty two years old. He's a former history major at UNC Charlotte and he is being charged now with two counts of murder charge and four a counts of attempted murder, four accounts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of a firearm on educational property, and discharging a firearm un educational property. He's being held. Now, this is why I'm two way
all day. But I believe in some form of gun control, and I really wish that before people committed these mass shootings, they started with themselves. Yeah, and nobody even has any idea why he did it. He was no longer a student there. He was gone this semester, and they said there was a watflock of concert that was supposed to be happening that night. That concert got canceled, right, and students were also getting ready for their finals. And they said they had no clue. They just said that the
young man had autism, right. Yeah, they did say that he had been diagnosed with autism when he was younger, but that he was very quiet. So nobody understands why he would do a thing like that. And it's always the quiet ones that need somebody to talk to, that are probably dealing with a whole bunch of other issues, dealing with a whole bunch of trauma, a whole bunch of pain, or whole bunch of hurt and hurt people,
hurt people all right. Now, this story had people very upset this morning as well, and this was a tweet from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. They sent out a tweet telling people do not wash your raw chicken. Washington spread germs from the chicken to other food or utensils in the kitchen. Then they said, we didn't mean to get you all hot about not washing your chicken, but it's true kill germs by cooking chicken thoroughly, not
washing it. You shouldn't wash any poultry, meat or eggs before cooking. This is why diversity matters. You can't have white people speaking for all of America, Okay, because I guarantee you somebody who doesn't use a wash rag did that study and was the head of that sensus and put that stupid ass tweet out. Even washing chicken for years, and you know what you do after you wash the chicken, wash everything that's you wash everything else, but Steve, our
white camera guy, that's not washing chicken. Bro. If you don't wash your chicken, you don't wash your ass. And that's my final LANs. I've never heard of that. You wash the chicken, you open up the package, wash your chicken, wash your chicken. You wrinch your fruit off, y'all. Don't rinch your fruit off. Absolutely I have an apple here right now that I can't eat till I go wash it off again. Do you wash your food off, Steve? No, Well, but they didn't say. They didn't say don't wash your fruit.
They're saying with meats that you're gonna cook because that kills the German. I'm saying, I washed my fruit off, right, anybody's supposed to. Yeah, I love grapes. I washed my grapes off. You know, they didn't tell you not to wash fruit, though you are supposed to wash fruit anything you're not cooking. Don't wash your chicken. Why wouldn't you wash your chicken? I don't know, but I'm going to continue to wash my chicken. Haven't gotten sick from washing chicken?
Washing chicken. I'm telling you, in another two years, they're gonna be telling you don't wash your ass. Don't wash your ass. It's not healthy. You're washing off back terry. That's good for you. In bac terry, you need. Everything comes back to your ass. You know that that right. I ain't mean ass like the ass ass. I mean like the ass like you at your body. You didn't really specify the difference, you know, when your parantsy sit your ass down. They talking about your whole body, not
just your butt. Alrighty, whatever makes you happy, bro man, shut up. I want to talk about butts. I'll talk about but all right. When I say asked, I mean like the whole person asked. Alright, So you are an ass sometimes. So that's what what I washed my ass though and my chicken. All right, Well, that is your taking advice from people who don't use wash racks. Steve, do you use a wash rack? I don't believe he does,
I believe. All right. Now, when we come back, bun B will be joining us, his wife, Queeney, and their attorney, so we'll kicking with all of them. Because attorney's name is Charles. I don't know Charles's last name. They call him big Angry all right, all right, when we come back, Angry, keep it locked us to Breakfast Club. Good morning, you're kicking out the world's most dangerous morning show. Morning. Everybody is DJ mvy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are
the Breakfast Club. We got some special guests in the building today, right. We have bun B. What's going on y'all? His wife Queeny welcome, and an attorney Charlomagne throw was security. Wait till you stand up and you'll see why. Listen, thank God being queen and here without the day man, you know, because of an unfortunate situation we heard about last week. First of all, how are y'all feeling? How are you feeling? Man? Physically, I'm gonna carry but mentally, nah, yeah,
it's a lot. She's she's gonna have to work through a process. We're gonna be okay. You know, I don't really check it on people too much, but as soon as I heard that story, I called but immediately I said, but I'm just praying for you, making sure the family's good. I appreciate that. Yeah, I'm glad you because I had
an old number on you. Anyway, I've been texting that crazy so and for Queeny, I was when I was reading that story as a woman, I was like, really scared for you, just imagining how that must have felt like during that time, to have somebody really just break into your home and not knowing what's going to happen, and to see how you protected your home and your husband as well. I couldn't imagine what was going on
in your head during that time. At the moment, it was unreal because we had just made it home within two minutes, and we were upstairs and I was putting dishes in a dishwasher. The window is right there, and I've seen the guy cross the driveway, but I thought it was my neighbor to those down, so I continued to put the dishes in a dishwasher. But I went to the restaurroom. So I heard the doorbell, and at that time, it's usually ups Amazon or FedEx, and they
only ring it one time and leave. So I walked down the steps. The view that I got, I couldn't see him because I guess he was so far towards the thing, and so me seeing that there's nobody down as usual because dish is what we do every day. But she never answered it. But I never answered. Like for a while, we stopped getting ups because I pulled the gun on so many ups people. They started leaving them at the garage because I always I don't have
any company in minds, I'm as his lawyer. He never pointed the gun at anyone, but I would always ask her the door with the pistols, so people know, you know what I'm saying for me The thing that drives me crazy is the fact that I spent my whole life and she knows it. My whole life is built
around addressing the threat. But unfortunately I wasn't the one that had to confront him in the moment, she was right, and I'm like so proud of her for, you know, not only how she handled herself, her only thought was to protect me because in the moment, her assumption is that this person has come to get me. So she's like, I need to hold this person here until Bun can get to the gun. And even if he kills me, I know Bun's gonna kill him. Man, God, bless black women. Man,
have mercy. People think she's the hero. So now you heard you heard the commotion downstairs? Yeah? Yeah, And I'm in the bathroom, like you know, just to be honest, I'm on the toilet, you know what I'm saying, And so I hear what's going on, and I'm like, this is it. This the moment I always talk about. Somebody's in my house right now threatening my wife. Hop off the toilet, I run, I go get the pistol. Did you wipeous? But m yeah, I just ran and got
the pistol, and the whole time I'm forgetting. I don't I'm not taking into into consideration that I'm we need to pull right now, you know, no pants on ready to pull with the pistol. So when the three story place, and so I go up to the third floor to get the gun, and when I come back down to the second floor, I don't hear anything. So I go
down the stairs. I cocked the gun just to make sure one was in the chamber, which it usually is, and there was, so that one bullet, you know, ejected out and flew out the pistol, and I turned the corn. She's like, bunned, don't go out there. That's not even a thought. I'm going out there. I don't know what's on the other side of that door. But whatever it was, threatened my wife something to go out there and address it. Right. I never got to turn the knob. I was slowly
turning the dead boat. And I guess by me not being able to see him, he had to be holding on to the knob. That's the only knob he could hold, so some kind of way. I remember, I looked up because I'm looking down to retrieve a package. So when I looked up he had the gun right here. Wow. And so he was backing me back and at the same time locking the door. So he was trying to leave me up my steps, and I was like, I can't go up these steps because he gonna catch Bawn
on the toilet. Both of us gonna be dead. He got to kill one of us. So I fell at the bottom of the steps and slid to the floor. I bawled up at a knot. And every time I did this and looked up, he had the gun right here. The barrel of the gun was so cold. He was like, give me everything you got. Oh, so I'm gonna kill you. And then between him telling me this, he looks over
and notice I have a bed wrong. So when I seen him looking towards the bed around, my start saying just take my car, Just take my car, because I didn't want him to take me in that bed room and rape me and do whatever he wanted to do. And so I was still on the floor when he heard the footsteps and he says, Okay, who is that up there? I say, that's my husband. Don't come down at this point because step Bun is headed to get the gun. So I'm steady screaming, please don't kill me,
Please don't kill me. He said, I'm gonna kill you if he come down. I could hear Bun getting closer. I say, Bun, don't come down, but he didn't know it was Bun when I noticed. When I said Bun, he startled because he was heading for the bedroom. And I was like, okay, to myself, I'm saying, you don't know where yet, So I made it upon myself. I said, Bun, don't come down the stairs. Please, don't come down. And that's when he asked me for the keys to my car.
I've been trying to offer you my call for the last three minutes. He say, where's the keys, and I said, I keep him in my car. I just back in the garage. I keep him in my coat. So I don't know what happened how I got up out the floor, but I didn't feel like I was gonna die. I felt protected because when I looked up at him, he put the gun back in my face and all I could see was his eyeballs and something white right here
on his neck. Yeah, And once I said, I'm stuck in the garage with him, so I'm steady trying to press the garage to let it up, but he keep going so slow. And then he said, open up the dawn garage, and I just laid on it and it just started coming up. And I looked at my peripheral view and I seen him get in the car. Once he got in the car, I jumped back in the house. My thing was to lock the door. But as I was going back in, I was trying to let the
garage door it down to keep him in now. But thank God for the out it because he couldn't figure out how to start him. So he is out looking, and I noticed he was looking when I ran back in the house. So I met Bun at the door. As I was getting ready, the closed bone was getting ready to open, and I was pleasing with him, don't go out there, because he got a gun. He's gonna shoot. He gonna shoot, but I got a gun too. I got a gun too. I'm definitely I don't know if
he go, but I'm definitely gonna shoot. So I just go through the door and I look and I don't see the garage doors up, and I don't see a person. So they in the car and I see his head and his body turned back towards me. And that's when I just let that thing go. All right. We have more with Bun B and his wife Queeny when we come back, so don't move us to breakfast club. Go morning Morning. Everybody is dj Envy Angela yee. Charlomagne the guy. We all the breakfast club. We have Bun B, his
wife Queeny, and his attorney here. Charlomagne, I see you got your lawyer heads because they trying to do some press, some charges against you. No, no, just just track. Well. First of all, he's a good friend of mine because we're friends more than just attorneys. He's always in a position to try to protect us. He's really here to make sure Queen's okay. He knows I'm a big boy. I'll be all right. Just to make sure you know we don't well like if bun would have done what
he did in New York, he'd be in jail. Treat to your furthest point, and in Texas you do not. And I don't want to call it racism, but you know, first before I heard from the DA's office that they weren't going to pursue anything because he also abund didn't stopped there. There was a gun battle. Dressed very I would have found a dude, run him over, shot him in the head, put a gun in his hand, been done with it, right, No, Bun Okay, Bun gets dressed,
gets his gun, goes and finds him. Just ask him to unmask so he can see who he is, because I already know if I pop him on the street, it's a case. I just need to know who this dude is. But I need to know. And I told him, I say, but if you take this mask off and I know you, I'm killing him. I don't know if I was no, no, I mean, but you didn't he Bun didn't know he was shot, and I wanted him. I wanted him to get that mask off. And at the point at that time, I didn't know heven shot.
You know, after the officers came over and they looked at how you know my you know what I put did to the car, it was like, no, this dude is shot. This dude is head. He's gonna turn up in the hospital tonight. And about an hour and a half later, he did well. And that's what's amazing. So he's sitting in the front seat Audi bumps shooting the forty with hallow the points. So I used to be
an officer before I was an attorney. So he hits the head rest twice, they expanding stuff in the head rest, hits the back of the seat four times, they expanded stopping. I'm in the dude should have just been American car. You just filled with bullets, right, but autio, I don't know. But even the guys shot back. It was a legitimate gun battle, like, but only pulled the trigger when he sees the dude turning around. I pulled. I hit the
I shot like five times. Now. It took like a step closer to see if I hit him, because I'm like, I know I got it, And then I heard like a pop, but it wasn't like what I was popping, right because my guns loud. Yeah yeah, but I heard like a like a firecracker, like a pop, and I'm like, he trying to not just hit it again. I hit it with everything. I let the lesson the rest of the clip go and he falls out of the car
and throws his gun down. So I pleaded for his life and I would have shot him again, but that one bullet I ejected out of the gun that would have been a bullet. That this was all in the garage. Yeah, yeah, queens just showed me the car. My God. So he drove away still jump defence, got down in this neighbor got on the failing on the street. Bun runs upstairs, get some shorts, gets another loaded firearm, and then goes and finds him, but completely rationally like a g Now,
who was the individual did they find? I'm sure, but they called him. Who he is? I don't know. You don't know him from Arizona. Apparently they've been there like a few weeks. It was from Arizona. You look at the social media, it's all like inspirational quotes and prim pictures and I mean, it looks like a normal kid. But apparently his mom was out there, his dad was here, normal house about five minutes away. And it's a duplicity of the falsity of people that are into criminality because
he had this really normal appearance. But he's going there just trying to kick doors and in a very nice gated neighborhood. God, who was with him to the bun? He should be dead at he really should be dead. I'm a good shooter. Right. I don't shoot often, but I have amazing aim, and I put those bullets exactly where they needed to be, with three bullets at his head, each with him like less than a centimeter away. Yeah,
you know what I'm saying. So again, God was in the room the entire time because she could have been dead. I could have been dead, and he could have been dead. How are you doing, Queenie? Are you able to go back to that house or how how are you holding up? She can, but it's in that area where it happened at it's rough for her, like she can't stand in that space kind of move. I never I never told the story. But the reason I called you and the reason I have so many dogs and so many guns. Now,
same thing happened, but it was with my daughter. My daughter walks in the house and there's a guy in the house and she has um my mother in law who has dementia, and her little sister with us. So she walks in the door. The alarm goes off. Being so the dude cameras all over the house. So the dude hopped in the house, crawled on the floor. If you crawl on the floor, the ad t alarm system won't pick up, so he knew to crawl on the floor, ran up in the house and was thought I wasn't home.
We were asked you on vacation. Guy comes in there, has a gun in his hand, has about I would say to six hundred, seven hundred thousand, I was worth the jewelry, runs out the house. My daughter's there, He runs after her. They all run and it's scared out of My daughter couldn't go back in the house for thirty days, for at least a month. Shot that scared because all she can see is the guy, the guy's mask, the same thing. And from there, there's a couple of
things I did. I taught my wife, I taught my son, and I took my daughter how to shoot, purchase guns in the house, purchase three dogs, and and the other thing I do is when I do go, I make sure I hire somebody there to make sure that they're in that house or in that vicinity, to make sure. But the hardest thing was my kids coming back in the house and my wife come back in the traumatized. They didn't want to come. They were like, nah, no, I'm not coming back, and I was I'm like, dude,
this is our home. We can't make nobody force us out. But they were more concerned with I can't live because every time I walk into Foy, I see his face, and because it's home, it makes the safe that you should supposed to feel safe and threatening to you. So there's gonna have to be some work done, but we're gonna get through it. Man, she's the best. I got a dog for if you need one. This is a fairy trip. You're like the fourth person. Tell me dog
for you. She said a word, she could say it in any language, and the dog lose what to do. The dog will grow go for the gun. I'm telling you I got I got a couple these dogs the best. I feel like your marriage has gotten strong after this encounter. Our marriage is already strong. It's just really absolutely we just know now that we we got each other, you know, on that level, right because on every everything else, we've
always had each other's back. You know, say, I still get on her nerves sometimes after this, you know what I'm saying, I'm trying to walk on, trying not to walk on ex shows around her. But you have to be careful and sensitive to what she needs right now. But again, we still have the dynamic. And I'm not always a favorite person. You know what I'm saying, I leave the seat of and you know, different things that she doesn't like. But you haven't white, But you never
said that, did you ever white? You never? But did you have? You said you got to put shorts on, so this whole time, you have no pants on. Yeah, I'm outside shooting with the outside with the gun with Yeah, really that's why. That's all she kept saying. But you really let you take I'm glad, man, I'm glad. I'm glad that ain't on camera. That's and nobody believed that guy then bumby was shooting at me tween pants on. Nobody believed that dude. They said he was going around
the neighborhood knocking on random people. Nobody police on people. The only people, unfortunately, the only people that saw him doing this were because they're still building around in the neighborhood, so the people that were part of the construction crews would see them. But a lot of those people, unfortunately probably illegal and once they called the police and police started asking for their name and their information and puts
them in a situation. A lot of them end up just you know, they apparently these constructing crews see a lot of crime all the time. All right, we got more with bun By and his wife Queeny. When we come back, don't move. It's to Breakfast Club morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We all the Breakfast Club. We have bun By, his wife Queeny, and as attorney here ye. So how are you guys working through this? Well, you know, she's dealing with you know,
victims of crimes. There's different resources that they have for her. But this this is very fresh, like this still is. This isn't even really a week old yet. So and we've been traveling like everything right now. And it's crazy
because you put the album out. Yeah, that that was the whole point of us, like you know, like me being in La Me coming to New York this week and all of that was really to promote the Addict with Me, the album with Me and Static and this all happened, and I'm like, you know what, we don't need to stop. We need to keep going. So, like you know, we had a cooking demo. We do this program with Rogers now where we do recipes and live demo.
So we did that Thursday, and I'm not gonnawed. That was so funny to me because I went to your page to see if you have said something and all that. It's like, come to Krogers being I'm like Bundas, I didn't living his life like I'm golden. Yeah, and I didn't. I didn't want to, you know, like make it a big deal. It seemed like I was like trying to take advantage of the situation or anything. Because my wife is very real things right now, you know what I'm saying.
But at the same time, we've got to keep as much normalcy as possible, and we got to keep moving because you'll freeze up and you'll be scared to come outside and you'll overthink every scenario. Congratulations on the album albums out and he's also the study about about Houston Station eighteen seven. Bumby is the voice of the station, So congratulation does the image draft voice. It took them long enough, I would like to say, I'll consider it. Bunny Is, I got a radio show on nine fifty
am KPARC, a hard channel. I'm there. I got the one central show on a conservative station. Right, he knows it's live at seven. Then I record my LEMPM show at eight. He waits till I'm done with the radio to call me, and he's like, well, I didn't want to off the radio, but I shot somebody. I was like, wait a minute, stoopid microphone. I'm coming, man. I don't think you need to come over. It's cool. I mean, why have a lawyer that went to Harvard if you
ain't gonna calling with your body? He really go to Harvard? Did you get your degree online? You didn't go to people there? Is? Yeah? I mean he just sad because he didn't want to. He didn't want to bother me on my radio show. I don't know because I know he's not like I said, it's not just my attorney. He's my friend. So already once he hears it, Joe, like I said, you come to the house, where's queen fun? What did you say? Okay? Were what you say? Queen? Are you gonna be all right? Let me get you
a chair, let me get you something fun? Where's the guy? Like god, between friend and lawyer and you know he's he's a good man, and shout out to those officers. And I'll tell you also Drake. I mean those officers looked at this the way, they framed it the way and supposed to be framed from Jump Street, and there was no Oh well, black rapper with the gun wants a story, which is what I got from some of the journalists out there. But with the officers there at
the scene, they were patting him on the back. They weren't looking to catch him in the net. They weren't. They were just looking to find out what they need to find out so they could catch the bad guy. Now, let's let's talk about this album. Now, do you recorded this album of differently? Yeah, I talk about this all right. So Static selected and I have recorded a lot of songs over the years, and we have a really good chemistry together, and so Static came up with the concept
of I think it was him a Psigon. We're hanging out and they did a song and then it's like Yo, put another one on, and it's kept going and going. Within twenty four hours, they had an album, right, But there was no live stream. There was no way to let the world see it, so a lot of people didn't even believe it. So a couple of years later, live stream comes out. So he repeats the concept and does it with Freddy Gibbs, he does it with Freeway,
he does it with Terminology and again. But the technology is there, but it's really you can't really coordinate it. Right. So fast forward a couple of years and now the technology exists on iPads, on phones and computers everywhere. And so I came up and do some music with him anyway, because we were talking about doing some stuff for his new album, and he was like, Yo, why don't we try that a concept? He knows my turn over time right,
can writer verse and maybe fifteen minutes? Right? So he's like, why don't we try to do like an album in one day? And I was like, yeah, I could. I could do that. I was like, well, I'm probably gonna need a couple of features. So we reached out to a couple of people. They reached back, and the response which everybody's like, Yo, this is gonna be ill. You're really gonna do the whole thing, And I'm like yeah.
So people started getting excited, and you know, when when I realized how excited somebody like meThe Man was to be a part of it, you know, I was like, Okay, this is gonna appeal to dudes who really just enjoy rapping and being around other rappers. So with that, we I was like, Okay, Chrit's that kind of dude. Probably is that kind of dude, graphs that kind of dude, all of these different mcs and then yeah, but we didn't call fat yall. So Fat Joe was watching and
she came and sees it. He called this young boy right when his young boys is around, and he's like, yo, should I come through that? And spent something like, hell, yeah, this is what this is about. And I went pen and paper that night. So because in the phone you could cheat, right, I could have it in my notes, that kind of thing. So I was like, no, I'm gonna put pen to paper and let him see me write every rhyme, every line, scratch out, every rethought, bar
any type of thing, and I think we execute it well. Man. I got to ride to that the day. I didn't get into it. Last week. I was caught up an Avengers in game. I'm not gonna lie to game twice. I haven't thing. I need to see the guy to see it the game right twice? So good, oh, man, I told him, But I said, I don't think people realize that this is the greatest story ever told on film easily. But there's a lot of fathers and mother Like my son's ninth birthday was Iron Man one to
Front's Iron Man one. He's graduating from college a year early as a twin year old next week. And we've seen every single movie, me and him. I think it was a moment, and it's it was a long moment, and I you know, I mean, I didn't get super nobody was like I think he was a kid, but now he's a man and this has spanned his whole life, and you guys still share the sentiment from the childhood up. And I don't look forward to when he don't want to go see movies for me, I'm probably gonna cry.
But if he wants to get a Wolverine tattoo, I know that he's a smart kid. I think that's a little farm you know about out seventeen. You know somebody gonna draw that. You're gonna see that on Instagram. Somebody's gonna do with no pants on the gun. You know that's coming look like comic book guy from the city. But the thing about it me opening at the door seeing him just a T shirt beating at him out the dude with I'm like he picked them, Yeah, that's why,
that's why. But he still had bullets and his gun. Bun was out of bullets. So there was a continued threat that you gotta get your stories right now because bunths that he had guns and you said he didn't know that he ran up. The driver still had bullets. Got you got you got your bum was still actively trying to defend his home from a threat of a very bad part. It's a true story, you know. The pistol weippon like this because all this is to Yeah, but it's not easy to stop mid either. Thank you
guys for joining us. Really, that's the that's the real like achievement here. They would have stopped mid Pooper. They call that ground hugging. Hug goes back. When your family's in danger, you gotta do what you gotta do. That's simple as that. Yeah. Well, thank you guys, I can't for stopping through. We appreciate it. Thank you all for having this man for real. All right, it's the Breakfast Club. Good morning morning everybody. It's DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne,
the God we all the Breakfast Club. Let's get to these rumors. Let's talk some new shows. This just oh go go report with a report Breakfast Club. All right, well, of course you know that Coming to America is coming. And a con had called that Eddie Murphy saying that Eddie Murphy should be hiring real deal African actors for the movie. Not a bad idea. Yeah, and here's what Eddie Murphy had to tell TMZ when they asked him about it. Oh yeah, I'll tell you that there's one
funny African that Michael Blackson the okay, all right, Michael Blackson. Oh, let's prove Michael Blackston is really from Africa first, Okay, he said that would be life changing. Everyone in the world is going to watch that movie. Who said that, Michael Blackston. It's rumors that Michael really not from Africa now, okay, so you can't be taking roles from African Michael Blackson's from Africa. Stop taking roles from Africa actors if you're
not really Africa's from Africa. All right, Now, let's talk about a brand new show that is coming to YouTube posted buy Charlotta Maagne that Hollywood reporter is launching you don't know about I forgot You're right, Drop Clu for the Hollywood Reporter. It's the emerging Hollywood Video series. And here is the trailer. The new Hollywood is being built
by renegades. The outlines the so called Misfies comedy reminds you of who you're trying should be, who you maybe once were, the most important thing you have as a writer, creative director, as appointed. I'm not just gonna play like the nagging, annoying girlfriends. I want a role that's actually challenging and nuanced, telling fresh stories and bringing to life characters you want to tell now have been confined to the margins. It's not a black movie, so we do
have certain privileges. Why aren't we taking advantages? Why aren't we working from a place of power? Yes, first episode drops tomorrow with a real African Trevor noa. He could be in coming to America. You could he's South Africa borning bread but sloth the Hollywood Reporter, Right, So give us some more information, like how many shows is it? Who else is gonna be? Yeah? I did like five episodes Doctor Planko killing Mike Trevor Noah. Um I forgot,
but it starts tomorrow. I forgot this guy. It's tough tomorrow on the Hollywood to the Hollywood Reporter on YouTube, tell us all about it. I forgot, Yes, it starts. It starts tomorrow. Okay, yes, all right, thank you that We're gonna get some spoilers here, all right. Empire is coming back, but apparently Jesse Smollett is not signed on
to come back yet. They said by mutual agreement, the studio has negotiated an extend into Jesse Smallett's option for season six, but at the time, there are no plans for the character of Jamal to return to Empire. So they've extended his contract, but there's no plans for him to be on the show. Why would one do that? Why they don't kill him? I don't know. I think I think what they're trying to do is waiting to see what's going to happen before they make a real decision.
So that's what it feels like it's happening. If they should put them back or not, they still certain maybe they'll kill him in the final season. I'm just saying, all right now. The Shy has been renewed for season three also by showtime. You know, that's my show. So congratulations, catch up. I haven't caught up for the last couple of episodes. To them, it's only been what three four three episodes or four I forget but um, yeah. So it's a lot going on, a lot of activity, so
a lot of highs, a lot of loads for that show. Yes, amazing. Now, John Singleton apparently did have a will and his mom is in possession of that will. He has a worth of thirty five million dollars. That's what his estate is worth. So if he had died without a will, then apparently his mother wouldn't get anything. But she does have that will and it will soon be filed. We don't know
what's in it yet. But he does also have seven children, and there's just been a lot of family issues I guess going on behind the scenes with the business of all of this. All right, well I will Yeah, no, that's great. That makes things a lot less messy. Do you guys have a will? I do, and I don't. I do when it comes to certain things, but certain things I have to be refreshed in the will. If the majority still everything goes to my wife. Regardless, everything's
go to. Everything doesn't change, will change. She got all access to the money, everything, is it? So is it not necessary for you to do one? You should still do one regardless, just in case you owe people money, if there's leans or if there's somebody trying to sue you, you should do a will regardless. But everything goes to my wife anyway. So all right, well I'm Angela. Yeah, and that is your rumor report. All right, thank you, Michee. Do you have a will? No, That's what I was
just thinking. That's why I was asking you guys if you have one, because I don't have a will. I have life life insurance and I have you know where everything's going. What do you do with that? It's like you know, well, who gets all that when? If you well, definitely life will. It keeps everything very simple, very simple, and it knows where to go to. There's no problems, no questions arguing fighting because there's a will. I'm sure polic go to your wife too. It's whoever you leave
it to you. Yeah, it doesn't automatically do that. You have to put who the beneficiary will be. Well, I was, well, mine is my wife. I'm sure Charlomagne's is his wife or shar Did you leave me anything? Leave you something? All right? I mean some people might have divided up between their kids. If you have other family members like brothers, sisters, parents, you might want to leave them something. Now you abuse me every morning. I just want to know if you
if you left me something. I don't check you underwear. It might be a little something there for you to people do that. You man, what Oh my gosh, you took it away too far? You go too far, bro, you go too far. Man, Stop doing it off the backboard. I won't Okay, this guy is crazy. I'm definitely gonna even the resource. I'm listening to the game playing all right. I'm uncomfortable too, all right, charlotmaiye, who'd you get that donkey too? Man? Give it that donkey to It's the
company called to the net. They are recruiting firm. They need to come to the front of the coregation. We like to have a word with them. I don't understand why in twenty nineteen we just can't get the basics right, I mean the basics. We'll talk about it, all right, We'll get to that next keeping lockedice to breakfast club, go morning the breakfast club. Your mornings will never be the same. Let's don't be a dusty because right now you want some real It's time for Donkey of the day.
So if we ever throw, I need to be a donkey man. Get it with the heat? Did she get? Please tell me I had become Donkey of the day break Club. Don't get to day for Wednesday. May first goes to a recruitment firm named Sinette. All Right, the hellman's is heavy on this one. Ladies and gentlemen too much, god man. Now Sinette is receiving backlash over a job
listing that they posted on LinkedIn. Now. The job description says sett is looking for someone with a good technical background including knowledge of RPA, eight to ten years of experience, and a relationship individual who can get more opportunities and build the account. Anybody out there listening to me fit
that description. Raise your hands, blow your horns. Okay, well, I just want to tell all my agents, all my colors, Latinos and others to relax if you fit that job description, because there's one key criteria in that job description and I don't think you have it. Let's go to w XIA TV eleven alive for the report. Please. Our company faces ridicule on social media after a job post calls for preferably Caucasian applicants. It's one of the three things
you need to know. Senate Systems posted the job opening on multiple platforms, describing the ideal candidate as preferably Caucasian with a good technical back ground. The company tweeted an apology, saying the listing does not reflect the company's core values of inclusivity and equality, and that the individuals involved have been fired. Federal law prohibits job discrimination based on anybody's rate.
I'm gonna be honest. I love overt racism. Covert racism is for cow which tell me how you really feel at all times. You just save us a whole bunch of time. Okay, But what I don't understand is overt racism from corporations. Look, it's perfectly fine to have a preference. I prefer to buy black. I prefer to give opportunities to black people. That is my preference, and I don't think anything is wrong with that. But when you are
recruiting firm, you can't show bias. It's just not good business. Okay. We live in an erawel. Companies are trying to fight bias in the workplace and hiring processes. Remember last year when Starbucks closed eight thousand locations to provide one hundred and seventy five thousand employees with training on racial bias. I mean, my God said that who there is to sleep at the will and talking out loud with their thumbs. Now,
we all have unconscious bias. I'm show, but I never really understood that term, because I think we are all conscious of our biases and acting like we aren't is just foolish. Okay, we just can't let our biases get in the way of making a wise decision, because your biases can make you miss out on something great. All Sinet really wants the right employee for the job. You may prefer a Caucasian, but what if the most qualified
person for the job it's a Puerto Rican. I would think you would go with Poppy if you know what's good for your business. Now. Most companies nowadays are doing more than just simply educating employees on bias. They are implementing strategic changes to their hiring processes to reduce bias and increase fairness. But not Sinette and in a way you got to respect it because they're keeping it honest.
But if the bottom line is doing what's best for your business, being blatantly biased is not to move now. Of course, Sineta apologized in a tweet. They said, Sineta apologizes for the anger and frustration caused by the offensive job posted does not reflect our core values of inclusivity and how you pronounce yes inequality. The individuals involved have been terminated. We will take this as a learning experience and will continue to serve our diverse community. Guys, Gauss
measured twice to cut once. Do you hear me? Corporations, politicians, everybody measured twice cut once. It will never cease to amaze me that in twenty nineteen people can't do the basics. The basics are, don't be racists, don't be sexist, don't be homophobic. The sad part is this, I have to correct myself and I just thought about this as I said it. I said, we need to go back to
the basics of not being all those things. But the truth is, when companies like Senet do things like this, they are going back to the basics, all right, Going back to the basics scrimpens your foundation, and the foundation of America has always been racist, all right, America was built on racism. So yeah, Seneta, it's going back to the basics by being openly racist. So I don't even have any solutions to this problem because sadly, in America, that's the way things are. So I guess we should
applaud Senet for being honest about their racial bias. That was that. Oh okay, you go gave me two little drips and just flattered on my idea. Jesus Christ drove you just fart over my idea. But yeah, yeah, you're right, I agree with you. We're not applauding tone. Let Kathy Griffin handle my white work. Please give this giant jar of mail the biggest heahaw. All right, but I have no solutions for the racial bias that exists in a
lot of these companies and corporations. I really don't. All right, Well, thank you for that donkey to day up. Next is ask ye eight hundred five eight five one on five one. If you need relationship advice or any type of advice to phone line to wide open the number again eight hundred five eight five one on five one. Ask ye is next is the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. Morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela, Ye, Charlomagne the guy. We
are the Breakfast Club. It's time for asking. Ye. We have Travis on the line. Travis, good morning, Hey, good morning, and what's uping? What's your question for you? Bro? I'm nervous right now. So all right, just from those right a roads the time I was about to propose from out my woman, I just found out that a woman's mom was she's pregnant. What does that have to do with you? What does that have to do? I'm sorry, what does that have to do with your he'd be quiet?
You got your girlfriend who you were about to post? Who his mother pregnant? Yeah, Like it's like a crazy story like in a Jerry Springer. Her mom was looking at mean like, you know, I just broke. I feel like she she wanted me, and I don't know I can You just got pretty okay, So hey, you're not gonna get married and even propose because you're having a baby with this your girlfriend's mother. But I want to how do I how do I go about telling my woman that I love like you clearly don't love your
woman if you had sex with her mom. I don't even know how you can justify that. There's no way you can ever talk me into believing that you love me if you had sex with my How do you a mom? Know? Though? No? Complicated? That is very complicated. It's really not complicated. Travis. You did something really really stupid, and you risk your whole entire relationship for it. Do you have a baby by your girl? Nah? Nah, that's the crazy because we facebootball before we have children. So
basically your child is going to be her sister or brother. Um. Yeah, Travis, you're not getting married. Don't even buy that to propose. It's not happening. It's very messy. You made a huge I love an Okay, yeah, go ahead and do that. I'm just curious. Where are you from? Okay? Well, all right, Travis from Florida. I just don't really have my sympathy for you. That's a terrible, nasty discussing. Yeah, but what is he supposed to do? The mom? And then what
you do? You go to your wife and your girl and be like, yo, your mom tried to hit on me, and the the mom goes, oh, he's lying. Who you think your girls gonna believe? Your girls gonna believe her mom. Girls are gonna talk to none of them the mom or gonna cut the mom off. She is never you just slept with We slept with her boyfriend. But that's what I'm saying. So how do you deny? How do you how do you say no the mom? No? I don't know, bro Right anybody in this womber third about
sleeping with their woman's mom. No exactly. But if your mom comes, if if your mom in law comes to you and tries to do it, what you're gonna say? So if your wife's mom come right now and be like Sharlamagne, come over here, what you're gonna do? I don't know, bro, No, it has nothing to be an that's the more complicated than y'all making it out to be. Just once again, if you tell the mom no, then you go to the girl. You go to your girl and be like, YO, your mom tried to hit on me.
Then your mom goes to her and says, YO, your boyfriend tried to hit on me. Who do you think your girls gonna believe? I'll tell you what, don't have something yet? Pregnant? I'm just telling you it's not as easy as y'all just make it out to be less it is. It's pretty easy. This guy's pretty. Things in life are not that complicated. But the mom don't get no blame. No, But it's not about that. I'm just saying he's not gonna be with the momat of course
his mom's nasty. But what I'm saying is he shouldn't propose. He's not gonna marry somebody. Ask ye five a five one? Hell ain't difficult? Why are you even listening? Are you right? Eight hundred five a five one oh five one? Ask ye calling? Now? Is the breakfast club the morning morning? Everybody is DJ Envy Angela, ye Charlo Megne the guy. We are the breakfast club. But in the middle of asking ye, hello, who's this? Hey? Hi Shanna? What's your question for you? Hi? Sha Hello Ali Shanna, Hi, I'm
telling man Hello Angela, Hello, Um, yes um. I have a new boyfriend, having the only ship for five years and it's too much now and my friends the lists though that we spend too much time together. We worked together. We actually we don't live together. But we're saying the things base Then they send that too early. Why are
you worried about what your friends think? I'm not. It's just that sometimes I tend to like, you know, have that little um little birdie with my like you know, you spend too much time to give him some you know, give him some reason room he does. He's not with his boys. I'm not with my own you know, my friends. But you guys are both wanting to spend time together, right, Yes, you do. Okay, so I don't understand the problem. He enjoys your company, you enjoy his company. Right now, you
guys are inseparable. I do feel it. It's important to make sure that you make time for things that are important for your friends. Like if somebody has a birthday and they want you to come, you can't not go because you're spending time with your man, right, So that's what it is. He's like, oh, like the party of being is he's not a party of person and the things. I'm thirty and he's twenty two. So he's like he's been there, like the party and things, and that's what one.
That's the biggest thing, a party? Want me going to parties. I don't think you have to go to parties, but if there's anything that's important that your friends feel like these and my friends I've had for a long time. I love them, I care about them. You can't disappoint them either, So you have to make sure that you still are handling your responsibilities as a friend. But I don't think there's anything wrong with spending as much time as possible with your boo. I think that's a great thing.
As long as you guys are enjoying each other's company. You love each other, that's what you both want to do. But don't neglect people to do that, right, And it's great when you guys can miss each other sometimes too, like when you go out for a couple of hours, go to dinner with your girls, with your family, catch up, and then come back or bring him also, right, Okay, thank you so much, Okay, love you back. The beginning of a relationship is fun and every waking moment together.
Eight don't drink five eighty five one or five one. If you need relationship advice or any type of advice, you can call ye. Now, we got rooms on the way. Yes, let's talk about these fur protesters. Find out who Peter got to this time? All right, we'll get into that next keeping locked this to Breakfast Club. Good morning morning. Everybody is DJ MVY, Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are to Breakfast Club. Let's get to these rumors. Let's talk Oprah. This is the rum of report with Angela
Yee Breakfast. Oprah Winfrey did a sit down with the Hollywood Report, and she talks about a lot of different things. I know the Hollywood Reporter. I'm in business with them. Nice. Yeah, So they were in her hotel Sweet they were actually interviewing her. They talk about some of these presidential candidates. She said she has Kamala's books, She's reading about Pete Buddhajas as well, and she said, I already know Corey Booker, So I'm quietly figuring out where I'm going to use
my voice in support. She hasn't decided that yet. So the three candidates that I like a lot, like man Pete, like Cory Booker, like Kamala Hurts, and I like Tim Ryan. All right. Now. She also talks about her own programming that she's doing at Apple, and but she does there that she can't do at own. She said, Apple exposes you to a whole lot more people The thing that I'm really really excited about, as I said that day,
is creating the world's largest book club. And if I want to do a film or a doc series, the best place for my docum series of mental health is not on own because you don't have the bandwidth and you have to create a completely different audience, and then you have to have marketing. That's how you know right there that TV is no longer the wave. I mean it is a wave, but I d wave because when you have somebody who has their own network saying that
a screaming service is bigger than her network. Wow, all right. She also talks about leaving Neverland Now. She was asked about getting involved with a Leaving Neverland with the special After Neverland, and she was asked if she regrets it. She said, no, I don't regret it. It wasn't really regret It was just actually I was having dinner with friends and they were saying, we saw you were in that, like why did you do that? And this is what happened. She said, I saw it. I was shaken by it.
I wasn't even shaken by the fact that it was Michael Jackson. I was shaken by the fact that the filmmaker Dan Reid had done a really good job of showing the pattern. And for years I had been trying to show people the pattern. I've been trying to say it's not about the moment, it's about the seduction. The first thing I said to Gil King when we watched it was Gil, You've got to get those guys on CBS. This morning, she instagrammed about it, and I said, no,
you shouldn't instagram. You should just get those guys. So she talks about the backlash she got for for after Neverland. She said, oh, the hate ration, Honey, I haven't had that much hate ration since the Puppy episode with Ellen. That's the Ellen sitcom where Ellen DeGeneres's character comes out. And she said it made me think, think, goodness, Ellen's coming out. It was before social media, because can you imagine woman hate Those people just had a difference of opinion.
But what and why didn't she never leave? Why didn't she never leave? I mean never, you know, I mean we're on Twitter saying it was definitely hate it. She said they were saying things like Oprah Winfrey is a disgrace to the race, absolutely, and they were hating and she was like, yeah, the whole race. I decided, you know what, this isn't going to be healthy for me, so I just didn't engage with it. Why didn't Gail
get the interview? I guess over said nope, you got all Kelly this we I'm gonna get the I got this. We can't let you do both. And leaving Neverland, they were hating that was strick less, break yourself, all right, and she talks about herself. You know, she did leave sixty minutes, and she talked about why she left sixty minutes and how they just didn't have her being herself. She said, is there too much? She said, they even tell that there was too much emotion in the way
that she says Oprah Winfrey her name. Even so, she's gonna be herself. I wish somebody would try to give Open Winfrey critique on how to do her job. I'm just serious. Lobe Winfrey is Amedia. God. She does great interviews, compelling interviews. Nobody makes people more comfortable than Open Winfrey. How are you gonna tell her how still critique people? That's like saying you can't critique her artist because the
artist is a legend, cuever. I'm not saying that. You know she's above being taught, because I'm Oprah is the person that is always open to learning new things. But come on, man, she's been saying her name for forty years. Now, all of a sudden, you're gonna tell her that she's saying her name with too much emotion, the name that made her a billion dollars. That's just that's just a producer sitting around wanting to say something. I gotta say something.
It's Oprah. I don't want to see her, but you may want to read the whole story on the Hollywood Reporter then I will. Okay, come, I'm in business with them all right now. Chrissy Teagan has been targeted by by Peter by fur protesters because she's been known to wear a fur. And here's what happened. As she was walking into Tipprianni's Christie, you should be ashamed of yourself for wearing real fur. Shame mind you, you heartless murderer.
Why do you hey animals? You heartless jerk. You're heartless, ugly jerk. Don't they paint anymore? Well? I don't know if they could get to her. How can he called her ugly. That's all you heard. Yes, you know what I want. I want members of Peter to get attacked by animals, and then I want to see how much they love animals get I want some animals to attack them, and then I want to see if Peter defends their self and hurts the animals to protect themselves. That's what
I want to see. Miles and kept it moving, all right. So, according to the Jazmine Brand, Will Smith is making eleven million dollars more than Martin Lawrence and the Bad Boys three movie. So what do you think about that? Do you think it matters? They were both once paid about twenty million each for each film, but they did have to lower their salary for Bad Boys for Life. So
they're saying that Will Smith will likely get eleven million dollars. Smith, they said he's getting seventeen million and Martin's getting six million. He's the biggest row. Will Smith is the biggest strow right now. He's way bigger draw than on Lawrence. No, that's disrespectful. That's they've been they've been doing that franchise together equally for they did the first and the second
one equally. How many years ago was that Will Smith don't done a zillion blockbusters since then, so Martine, he has not. Actually he actually had a lot of flops, but he had a couple. He had a couple of after that. Martin is not a legend. He's a legend. I don't. I mean, Jesus Chris. It's eleven million dollars more. It's a lot, bro Yeah, seventeen million, six million, smart Lawrence, come on now, smarty mar He've been in syndication with his TV show all these years. That is correct. But
this is Will Smith. I don't care. He's had a lot of movies, a lot of success Instagram with your Instagram, huge on YouTube. He does a lot more. Eleven million dollars. I don't know about that, especially if they was getting equal pay all the time. It was a little time. How long ago was that? You act like Martin fell off? Martin fell that's what it sound like, you say, Saint
Martin for don't pour words in my mouth. I said, the last Bad Boys movie came out when I don't know, I could tell it was probably about men threes, about nineteen ninety four, really five, right, it had to be right there, ninety five, ninety six I don't know how every first small album let me see movie, but this movie five was bad. That's the first, the first one,
That's what I was saying. Okay, so two thousand and five was the last one because it's every teen years and from that mistake three winning what two thousand and three? Speaking into he was speaking into a bit. I just listen. Eleven million dollars more than Martin is a library, and I understand. Will Smith is a huge stall becoming. Will Smith has a Laddin coming out. He was in Bright, Collateral, Beauty, Suicide Squad, Concussions, latest movies. He has a movie called
The Beach Bum coming out later this year. He was in Big Mama's Like Father, Like Sam, which was in two thousand and eleven, and Death at a Funeral in two thousand. Yeah. Yeah, had way more movies that that was successful. Laughter, That all I'm saying. Suit of Happiness, Concussion or that was depending, but it was after a minute.
It was after the Bad Boys move. If last four or five weren't didn't do well at the box office, well, Bright was on Netflix, right, Yes, I am legend he did all those after broad that is ten years ago longer, all right, guys. I'm angela ye, and that is your rumor report. All right, thank you, miss ye. Why are you said, I'm no money disrespected mort Lawrence. He's a legend, all rights. All right, now let me see what Lawrence did get ready for your mix envy remember that joint?
Yes I said that. Just now? What about college road trip? Remember that one? Yes, you're lying, I do college road trip. It was called college road trip. I heard he did Wildhall, Wildhall, Wildhall? Is he looking at that? I don't even damn. It's Martin Lawrence and Will Spipt should not be making eleven million dollars more than Martin Lawrence, especially the other bad boy movies. They were getting paid the same guy that way fifteen years ago. Nope, all right, we'll revote. We
see them everybody else to People's choice mixes up. NeXT's the breakfast club. God morning, the breakfast club. Your morning's will never be the same morning. Everybody is DJ mvy Angela yee. Charlemagne the guy we all the breakfast club. Now we got a shout bun b his wife Queenie, and the attorney yeah man joining us this morning. Yes, saluted them. Very traumatic experience that they went through happy that both of them came out okay, and both of them my heroes. You know in my book, Queeny is
a strong woman man. The fact that he had that gun pointed at her head and she was able to steal function and think and move the way that she did is incredible. Yeah. Absolutely. And then a moment like that, you could easily think and move off of motion, but she was moving off strategy. So God bless her absolutely. All right, Now when we come back, we got the positive note. Don't move. It's to breakfast club. Good morning. You're got two months. You can count me. I'm counting
my bullet as what is love morning? Everybody's DJ Envy Angela Yee. Charlomagne the guy we are the breakfast club. Now, Charlomagne, you got a positive note for the people, bro, that's right. I want to tell you man. Today is the first day of Mental Health Awareness Month. I want to salute

Is pretending like you don't go seek some help. Breakfast Club all finish for y'all dumb
