got a special guest here Moray, yeay, yay. Yeah. Hey man, Look, I was in the studio with you a few months ago and I told you something. I don't know if you remember, but I was like, I think I heard maybe ten or fifteen songs, and uh yeah. I was like, I don't know if it's possible. And there's a few artists that I could say this for because all the songs I heard were fire. But there's certain artists that I think it'd be really hard for them to make

a bad song. Yeah, And I told you, I was like, Yo, I feel like you're the kind of guy where I don't know if I hear a shitty song from you. Hey, Hey, no, for real, I really hope that's a goddamn case, I'm gonna try my best to make sure it is no care. Yeah man, So Street Sermons is coming out Friday, right tomorrow tomorrow, Yeah so tomorrow night, twenty eighth, man, my first mixtape ever. Fucking excited nigga. Also nervous. You're nervous? Why are you nervous? I really want to because I

want people understand that I really gave my all. So I don't want people be like, oh this nigga too long and gave us some regular shit, Like I really want people to delve this shit. Like it's really big to me that my fans like this, like this project because I put myself in this shit, right and that's my first time ever telling niggas about my story or who I am. So I'm you feel me. It's like, god, damn, I'm about to take my clothes off. You see the body.

It's crazy bro, right right right right? So when you say you tell your story, like what was your most vulnerable moment on this project, like something they talked about that you know, like I believe, Like what's the song reflections when I was talking about like how I fucked up and learned from lessons I have my mom stressing like how I was locked up and how I had to get my ged because I was I was locked up, and how I was able to finish school where I

wanted to, and then mistakes and saying like even though I'm getting this money in my life, when never changed. And then I got songs explaining how niggas is trying to use me and I understand you feel me like it's it's a lot of when you listen to my songs, understanding some of my real place and it happened, and I want niggas be like, yo, this shit is crazy. I feel the same way, like I want more relatable music. How older were you when you got locked up? I

was sixteen? Fifteen? Oh shit, yeah, fifteen years old. Well, my first time I was I was thirteen and I had got did a little couple months in and like some little boot cam shit, it wasn't nothing crazy. And then I got locked up like sixteen or fifteen until I was like sixteen and a half. And then after I said never again. How long were you in a year and a half? Hell? Oh, what was it for?

Member the head button teacher? Yeah you had better teacher? Yeah, I don't know if you've seen the fucking Breakfast Club niggas, that was the headline. More head budts teacher, So you had better I didn't. I didn't. He was an intervention specialist. So they hit you for with aggravated the saw. Yeah, and what they do is they the job they have is to grab the kids, slain woman. Let him know who the boss, and I felt like he was trying to do too much. I'm older now I understand, bro,

you here doing your job, so I appreciate you. But at the time I was a knucklehead and I didn't. I din't. I didn't like that shit. Get the fuck out of my face. What were you doing that where they had to intervene? No, cat, I wasn't doing shit Like I was trying to write my girl a little love lot I got doing my work on time. I'm on computer. Bullshit right hello lotter. He was like, did

you ask you the computer? I'm like, yo, Bro, I already got it okay with the teacher, like you never the teacher, My nigga, relax, it's going the hallway where your job is. Chill that and I'm in my business. I printed out, getting ready to fold it up. I write, draw her name on it, my hearts. He take my ship, rip it and throw it in the trash. He like, I said, you had no permission. I'm like, yo, bro, chill the fuck out. Just ask this s niggas I could do. He said, yeah, you know how I am.

Chill out, Bro, I'm trying to have a good fucking day. I'm already got mashed on my brain. I'm dealing with real fucking life in this school. Get the fuck out of my face, even me, like, and I don't think he understood where I was coming from, Like I'm a kid. He was dealing a ship at home at the time of shit at home a lot of ship in the Street Lights show, and my my family got shop with myself. It's like, bro, get the funk out of here. Like I'm really I'm in the school for a reason because

I'm I'm trying to get out the ship. If me nigga didn't understand it. And I wrote it again, he grabbed the paper again and ripped it. I'm like, yo, bro, I'm about to steal you, like you're really pissing me off. He went in my favorite to grab me first. Nigga. Fuck it. We're there, but we're there now, like, hey, was he bleeding? I don't know. After that, the nigga jumped on me. Don't care, so I don't know what happened to I just know all on the floor. It

was like five niggas on me. So was this sophomore year? Yeah, tenth grade? Yep, hell yeah, all on the ground. Like twenty minutes later, police came out behind the cock car and it was yeah, perproporation all that ship. So you end up in jail. Juvie is juie? Yeah obviously damn. So you got your g D in JUVENI yeah, yeah. My dumb ass thought I can get my GED and go back to high school. I don't know what I thought that I got okay. I was like, bro, you're

already graduated. I was like, it's over now, my GD show the nigga. I'm going I can get out niggast high school like I got out of Like what the hapened when I finished? Shit, I'm sixteen, I'm out of school. I don't know what the fuck to do with my life. What were you doing? Like, you get out of jail, sixteen, done with high school? All your friends are probably still in school. You've been gone a year and a half, Like, what did you end up doing with your free time? U?

That that's when the time got get a little shifty, you feel me. Like when you're talk chilling with niggas who not in school. Now you talk chilling with the niggas, you have to chill because nobody's around, but older niggas things start trying to be involved and followed really deep into their ways because that's all you know. Now all my homies that I will probably chilling and if we fighting, we do dumb shit. That's cool. We were kids, right,

but the older niggas ain't fucking around like that. Like you feel me, You're getting this in real shit and like, thank y'all niggas for the lessons, but I fucking wish I would learned the lessons. So you was around some like that's like you kind of got out of jail and then the circle you started to keep was definitely not the same circle that you would before. You would win because all your friends are probably going to school. Yeah, niggas is doing doing their things, so but I've always

tried to keep an another circle. You fee mean, like every hood nigga, you really in the screen like that. You got to have some niggas who not So when you explain your sit out loud to these niggas who don't understand it, it's so dumbest shit. Yo, this nigga said the nigga talk quiz, I'm aout to pull up, and they're like, what the fuck you know? To keep your ground? You know the guy he be even with nah, so why are you about to go do it? Because

he said so? Oh now you're like, what the fuck? Hell? Nah, what the fuck going on? You need? You need homies that be like yo, that I don't that shit don't make sense to me, you know, I mean, I think I always kept those so when I finally went back to fab but I had to understand who I was and find myself and have my kid, I'm like, Yo, I don't want to be that following as nigga who really got to sit back and be like that decision

was dumbest shit because I followed another motherfucker that's whack. Yeah, that's why it's important for you to say, man, because some people I feel like we're because you're you're not as young as a lot of your peers. Because we look at you as a new artist, but you've been making music for a long time and you're not like, you're not ninety. I'm not gonna ask you how joy, but you're not ninety? Should I tell you I'm twenty eight? You're twenty eight? Man, you're grown ass man, you know

what I'm saying. But like, you know, a lot a lot of the peers that you're coming up with, you know, I feel like there's a lot of that energy where it's just a lot of bullshit going on where you see people getting cases and yeah, this internet beef shit is crazy what you're around. Yeah, it's what you look No cap every nigga that's over the age of twenty eight, I like myself too. We're responsible for the niggas behind us.

You got you got to think about that shit. They only doing what the fuck or adapt into what the fuck he was already doing, right, you know what I mean? Little niggas. Oh this nigga get old for his money. That would never happen to me. I'm ana blant that nigga first, we put them onto that mentality, you feel me? So like now with something us reverse that ship, bring that shit the fuck back. To where it's supposed to be. I'm not saying I'm a martyr or none of that ship.

But if I got little hummies and they make a dumb decisions, I don't give a fuck who around you. That shit stupid as hell. My nigga relaxed, that's crazy. I think, first, make a smart decision. If you want to get a nigga back, why do it loudly? Yo? I'm telling you, at least some of this rap beef shit going on right now is the most wildest shit

I've ever like. These Jacksonville boys are fucking insane. I sawangsters bro Young and Age shot the video on the golf course, and then the other cats shot the video on the grave of the dude. Who this dad? I'm like, what the fuck is going on out here? It's crazy. All I'm gonna say is I wish all your niggas safe travels in your life. Be careful. If you're really gonna if you really do this ship and you really like that, at least pray every day so your soulas continue.

A lot of niggas, I understand you can't get out of that, cause that's who the fuck you are, right right bro, brother, pray, trust yourself, and if you can't trust your niggas, please get new niggas you can't trust because shit is crazy out here. But to everybody out there doing that shit, he please stay safe. Well, when I first met you, you were with wifey. She was in the studio with you. How long you guys been together?

Seven years? But we've been married three? And when you drive your first baby like in life nineteen two thousand and eleven, he said, nineteen two thousand. No, I was nineteen all kill Oh god, so different baby mama, Yes, different. But how many kids you got? Three? Three? Yeah? How many with the wife? One? One? Okay, the first rue was with my first wife. I don't care. Oh so you're you're double married. No caps, you've been married, divorced, and remarried. I find a love baby. No cat respected

it did what it is. I'm lived a lot of life. I've known cats. So I'm saying like I feel all the street terms. Oh god, fuck, no bullshit? Oh my good, you can talk about it at all, like, look, this is how you make the marriage work. This is where you don't fuck up. No cap, That's what I want to do for all my niggas out here, who fucking all these holes, all these females like here fucking all these niggas. I'm telling you, if you fuck one nigga the right way, one girl the right way, Yo's gonna

be lit. Nigga, you ain't got worry about shit. You feel me every I think these niggas out here and these females are so and twining and trying to be what what what the media and what motherfucking music is showing you? No, find out who you are yourself? Like music is supposed to help you out, but it's not supposed to make you a different fucking person. Like people take the music and run with that shit Like you listen to this nigga and he a killer, so now

you a killer? Like? What the fuck? Now? Listen to this girl? He was a good girl. She's a thought. Now you a thought? Like what the fuck is happening? Like? You don't got to follow along? I think a lot of people live their life for other people. Yes, yes they do. They live their life for for what. They give a fuck about what other people think before they care about what makes them happy. Exactly. That's the wrong move, facts, bro,

the wrong move. So your wife, Like, like, you've been together with your wife for seven years, what's some advice you give to you know, people to kind of have a successful relationship, because that's a long time to be with anybody. Bro, No, cap it's hard, and that's the first thing I want everybody who's looking for love to understand. It's hard as fuck. You don't get nobody and it's easier, it gets harder, So you guys understand how to fuck to deal with each other. We lived together before we

got married, so we knew exactly what we were getting into. Right. People don't even want to go through the journey, but they're so quick to fall in love. You don't even know the motherfucker you, but you love them. You posted them on your Instagram. You're SOI media. Y'all know each other passwords and you knew each other for two months? What's crazy? Fuck is happening? Like? What happened to the talking phase? Yeah? It's crazy. No, I'm a nigga, No I love push it like the next nigga. Don't get

me wrong, you feel me. But what I'm saying what happened to the talking stage? No full disclosure? Every hood nigga you might laugh me at this. My wife didn't let me fuck for three months, none of the rule, no bullshit, and I stuck around, took on dates, rubbed that motherfucker feet showed up. We ain't dinner together, Nope, we did. Okay, I did the same thing with my wife. Bro,

it's fire. I'm gonna keep it. A band like Nigga is sound crazy, But when you wait, and if she give it to you and it's crazy, you'd be like, oh, I'm gonna stay a little longer. And he already been at three months. Those two is in that three months, you guys fucked with each other for everything else besides the sex, besides and then if the sex is fired, that means like, oh shit, you got homie and you've been married now. Bro, it worked out so well. We

watched movies together, smoke weed. Now, where's my motherfucking dog? Bro? And she be on the road with you and ship the only time she stayed home though, when we like, all right, look, we've been away by kitschen to kitchen long. Somebody has to be there to let them know that they're still our kids, right right right, And that's the

only time. If that's not the case she with me little bullshit, Tell me about Fayetteville because it's uh, I mean, we all know j Coles from Fairville, right, and I've seen uh when Cold did his documentary where he went back home and performed, there was like a kind of a behind the scenes look at the city, and it seems like a very small town. Yes, right, Like it seems like if you don't have something going on there, it's probably very easy to get wrapped up into some

shit because there ain't nothing going on. There's nothing going on, So yeah, like, what was it like growing up there? And kind of give us a rundown of your town, bro Fairviille is it is the most prettiest, ugliest, beautiful't nastiest place in the world, and shout the cat willingssing that shit first you feel me. I feel like that's the best exemp because there's so much nice shit and there's so much bullshit as well. But I feel like, as far as being who you want to be, I

love my city because niggas is who they are. If a niggas a gangster, he's a gangster. He a broke bumash nigga, A broke bumash nigga. If he a fly nigga, Get bitch nigga, You get bitches nigga. That's just they be who they are and nobody has shame in their game in my city. That's why I love that shit. Like I found out who I am in that city

because that city let me be who I am. What was like I can imagine, is you know, having someone who's one of the top three rappers on the planet come from your city, Like, you know, Cole's an icon, you know, he's a legend, He's you know, I always say there's the Mount Rushmore of hip hop, and three of those slots have been the same for like ten years and Stray, Cole and Kendrick, Like how much of

an inspiration was Cole growing up? Because like again, like if you're in the streets, you might not be listening to Cole, you know, I know, because like you know, Cole's on some lyrical shit, but like, man, you can't help but probably be inspired by that dude coming out of your town, right, No, no, cap The first song that I heard from J Cole was who that of course? And when you and Fabul he tried to video fable,

that's you crazy nigga. Oh ship like that. He's the martyr for the veal, like nigga the only to come out, but you only gonna come out. Bro. We look at him like, yo, I want to be that. So for him to to to really put that footprint on my city and him to say my shit is amazing. I'm behind him, Bro, that's you fire my big bro litt and I'm little bro now, so I'm I'm cool with that. You feel me? Yeah, I mean, I mean there has to be. There has to be the j Cole Moray song. Bro.

I know you know he's tapped in if he hit no. Look, we we talked. He a solid nigga. But if we ever say more hop on this track, I promise you I'm ana fly away that motherfucker and I'm hoping on the song in personally the next dream Bill You know they did that with the last dream Bill project. They just flew everybody in like there was the most random, like like assortment of artists on one. Yeah, you gotta that's gotta be. That's that's gotta be. That's gotta happen.

I hope debut album, you gotta get the cold first on your album. Why my mixhape is out, so no, no no, your mixtapes out, but I'm saying the album. We're going to the mixtape, so that means the album's coming. Yeah, hell yeah, Jake Cole, you see me. Hey, fuck with my wife. God, I'll fuck with it on God, I'll fuck with too hard. The baby too. Ain't standing the

fuck up? How hard is it uh? Being a father while you're on the road and while you're kind of also being one of the hottest new artists on the planet. Right now, it's getting harder because like now, when I leave, I feel my kids be like, all right, daddy. I thought you weren't going to feel me like so now I had that conversation like that, they gotta go do this so I can. And that conversation to my baby is trying to get a little old already, you know what I mean. They kids, so all they care about

is me being there. So it does get a little harder. But us why after like every interview, I try to face something or take my wife like everything good if they may make sure right straight, But they still want their daddy. So I'm still learning because I'm still new. But and the touring hasn't even started. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. They're coming. They already know about me leaving touring gonna be even worse. So I'm the figure out I got towards it. The summer, I'm go to rint

my own fucking RV. Had them in the best I can be, going to ride together as fuck it. How od are your kids none? Eight and four? Oh yeah, you got the squad? Okay, you ain't understands it now, So I gotta especially the nine and the eight and their hip to their ship. Oh god, I got two boys, So I really got to show him that a man is more than just his job, more just his career, that he's a family person too. So how long were

you making music? Because I kind of had this conversation with you, like you've been making music for a minute? Yeah really what like, like were you always doing the melodic shit or like did you kind of grow into that like cause I like and then kind of give me kind of like a background on like how long you've been making ship? Like, uh, I started with the melodic shit, Okay, that's how you started. Because of listening to Drake the so Far So Going album, of course,

really made me realize I could do both. Like I didn't even know I could rap until I got a little older. And then then I was like, fuck, I much do hip hop, like just boom back rap to try it out, and I was like, it ain't hitting because I don't even know what the fuck is going on. I'm not putting. I'm just trying to rap. How nigga rapping like no cap, rest in peace, freda God, like Fred God. Listen to Fred the God. I was trying to wrap by him. Feel me likes what friend niggas

souker money. You know, I'm telling you to keep it, bait your socker money. Your fucker wants to repeat it. These niggas talking you fucking mom Casquito Like I love how I love how he rapped. That's it so smooth, And I wanted to do that, but I couldn't get it. Youn me. I was like, what the fuck is happening? I kept choosing singing and rapping twenty twenty one, two

thousand and I want to say fourteen. And when I really realized, like, no, cap I'm gonna do this shit for real, I call my homeway, call my homeway, like yo, Neil, I know you engineered. I don't know how good you are, don't give a fuck how good you are. Can you bring you up with me to my crib. Let's record this song and see what happens. And then my wife loved the song. She was like, Yo, that's fighting it was.

It was the first song before quick saying that I said some real shit, and after that it was nothing but bullshit. Wow. And I was like I couldn't find that anymore. I'm like one song and I put I put on sound Cloud. It got loved and I'm like, yo, I can't make nothing else. Like now it's just I'm going back to the bullshit. I don't know, just talking the street shit. Yeah, Like it was just like regular

and I was like it was final. But it was like I think, like what stove about your shit is like it's you know, you can kind of relate to your if you're going through the struggle, if you're fucking your ship is real relatable, you know what I'm saying. Sure, and you can you could feel it in your voice, you know what I mean, Like the pain, you know what I mean. Like, so you you had had a

journey in music for a while. What ended up catching Moe's attention quick, saying like when my wife had a comptent and to tell me, like, yo, write some ship that you're gonna be proud of, Like write some ship that when you hear you like, yo, I did this. I took that ship as a personal challenge. I took our last blunt. She was hot though on guilt fuck

I think our last blunt. Went the bathroom and like secluded myself for like three hours and just like took my time listening to the beats and writing the songs. Made a video on my homeboy. He hit my homeboy like yo, I want to fuck with him at homebok like yo something dude cally like he wants song. He'm like, hey, I know, I know the fucking don't like it's fake as hell, but give my number. See what happens. My wife answered the phone. He was like, y'o a fuck

with you. I want to put your songs at the top. And I'm like hell yeah. He was like, you ain't gonna be rich. Fan can't give you all his money, but you gonna work hard. I was like the fuck big that my smiling like shit, all right, man, let me talk to my wife about this, did you have like any idea who Moe was? I know who that nigga was? Cat, you k know who Marshmallow was? Of course no cat. My kids know Marshmallow, of course they they love They wanted to be in for Halloween. Oh god,

my son said this. He was like that, singing the picture with Marshmallow. Da you a Dozand ain't my damn dousand cousin? They say this thing so so that the video was already out, yeah, hell yeah damn. And then from there it was just it was over. Yeah. No, cat like he he he did exactly what he said he want to do. He said about work, He's gonna work with me, and we're working together and ship is popping.

How many records are you sitting on right now? Put it like a hundred and five hundred and six, one hundred and five songs, I believe, so yeah yeah no cap no no, I made seven walls here, so one hundred and twelve Yeah yeah, Okay, Well you gotta fucking put the album together. You gotta go through. That was the hard part for street sermons, like figuring out like okay, we got a hundred of these things, like what to do with them like which ones are making the cut? Yeah,

like it was. I felt like it was. It's so dope because Street Sermons has so many firere ass songs. But it's so dope that I have not even to sound like I'm talking shit. But I have a lot of other songs I could have chose that would have still fit the same vibe because I'm always being me. And then I also have songs that when people hear them, they're gonna be like, what the fuck I want them to do that. I want you to know exactly who I am so I can hear you, so I can

never give you the same hit again. I promise you that, please do not expect from more where to keep you sad. I want to take you through a variety of emotions. I want to give you a variety of different things. I want to tap into different genres. I want people to look at me and follow my journey. Like, Yo, we went everywhere with Mora. It wasn't just hip hop, it wasn't just R and B. It's country. Whatever the fuck niggas want me yet, I want to I want to show up. You don't want to show out? You

got some country shit in the not not yet. Hey, anybody from the side who country and you won't fuck with me? Oh god, I want niggas say they won't smoke, but all these fuck nigga's a joke. Oh god, yo. Obviously outside of Cole, who's somebody who tapped in that was a fan of of of you that you were kind of like surprised by where you were, Like, oh shit, I grew up like this is this is crazy that

this person even knows who I am? Jay Z Oh no, bullshit, Cole, I love you, my boy boy, and motherfucking jay Z put on his list. I said, hello, hell he, I said, this shit can't be real, that this shit is fucking crazy. Twenty seven don't care when nobody said. Number may not mean nothing to nobody, but that mean some shit to me. Twenty seven on this playlist. I wasn't even born when

you was rapping. Probably you feel me, nigga and you came off Joe Clouds should come back to Earth amongst regular people would say when you when you find out you were on his it was the end of your playlist, right obviously? What was that? Like? Like, that's huge. I forgot who I didn't even seen it for somebody told me, like real shit. I think it was either it was either Mo or my home with Gutta like they was like yo, chase. Either I said, Nah, that's bullshit. That's Cap.

That's not cap. Oh wow, yo yoo, that's not cap Hey Babe, Bake, that's not fucking cat Rot. Wasn't that motherfucker that's like fourteen blunts? Was dude? I was that beds here? No cat, that's big man. Did you have any communication with her after that? Or nah? Not? Not personally? No,

I ain't talking to no Cap ship. I don't even know what about somebody you've actually like hung out with, like you know, whether it's in the studio or you've just met that's like you were like, Yo, that's crazy, like this person is fucking with my music, or somebody who you met who was like dope, no Cap. I ran into uh. I ran into herbo my first time, my second time in the fucking l A and that shit was five. Like I didn't gonna lie. I fucked with Ball. I was like, oh shit, this nigga and

the studio that ran after him. You got other nigga who was popped up kill Ller Roy was walking past through them own what's that nigga just walking through the studio. This shit crazy is sitting there s Corde in the studio. I'm just in my c is incredible, bro, He's a that nigga got this. Also, I think he's got roots in Fayetteville and raleygh hell yeah right and Rally Rally yeah. Carolina. Yeah, he's got roots in Carolina. Carolina is going crazy, bro Telly,

whole state, I'm telling you, going stupid. Bro Hey, it was so dope when the Baby and Cole hopped on a record together at the beginning of the Revenge of the Dreamer Ship that it was huge. That's all fine, But how far is Charlotte from Faieville two thirty five minutes? Like y'all? Like, I mean, it's like, is it? Like? Is it? Because, like you said, North Carolina is kind of in the in his bag right now. The whole state is going crazy, yeah, like the Baby's but Charlotte's

going Charloe's going stupid right now. It's It's impressive for sure. Uh. I want to say, the first thing I noticed when I watched the video was how amazing the on was. But I knew how important. It was for everyone who's got a sweating problem to see you with that sweat rag. Bro. Look, look, Cook's got his sweat rag right there. Every fat nigga got a sweat rag. No bullshit, even if you ain't got in your pocket and your car has something to dab that forehead. Stop playing the things. I know you

got it. Oh how much love did you get for the sweat rag? A lot? No, I'm making some ship. No bullshit, yo, y'all gotta that's gotta be the merch bro. I gotta be part of my burden. That's like. I was like, this guy got the the l r G and the sweat rag. He's going up and I was using that ship too, Yeah he was. He was patting himself. Oh I sweat like it was like a ninety four degree hot his boy. I was like, look at this

guy with the sweat rag. Fat boys ship always yo, stop like this podcast, I saw you didn't have any jun you got you. You got to watch how how not only the makers of the most give my emotional kind of watches that they also not got roll. It's a boxer briefs are so fire, it seems it seems to be under God for your nature. I like whatever you got to cover them up real you feel weird, and ladies doesn't feel weird to be walking around with someone's like, like, you know the odd socks offely on

your wrist. I don't. I don't know. It was how much is the watch? Like they just got fifty k? That's a that's a like. So it's a great key of minivan like fully loaded. Of course they got w W those are the game. They got it. That's why

you got that g was gifted to you. Yeah, what I'm saying all this ship like you gotta do some socks than He later saved twenty percent out you were a boutlet calv a odd Socks official dot com fifty The worst comes the worst, sell them all that you You You know what I'm saying, Oh God, no worst ship hits the you said I said, I wonder how much I get all for no more? Oh God, hood can say like da, I can probably more ward Maybe I'll say seventy five. I don't fucking know. You don't, God,

Oh bullshit? What is gonna be the difference between the mixtape and the album For you? The mixtape is more of who Moray is who More? It was. The album Gonna Be is who More Ray Wanna Be? Who More is gonna be? Who More Rays striving to be? And I think that's gonna go crazy like only because I'm thinking the possibilities of what could be. Feel me like I'm newing this game. I'm like a new born fucking baby. And I love that ship because everything is wondrous. I

love all of this shit. Like when niggas think I will be upset about doing some like what's going on? Fuck it, let's do that. We're here, get me on god like, fuck it. And also too, you were grinding for so many years, like I can only imagine like to finally make it, it's gotta be like damn because I because I I mean, look, you're twenty eight. I'm sure that there were some times when you was making music and you thought about not doing this shit no more,

just just just doing regular job shit. Bro, No cat, I quit half of my career do music because I felt like either I wasn't good enough. It's two niggas out here, who's trying to do this ship? In my city? I was never gonna be seen. I didn't have enough money for the studio time. I don't know how to buy these fucking beats from these YouTube niggas. There was so much shit going on. I was like, Yo, this is I would lose my No cat bro. I had

a whole album and I lost my phone. I lost like forty songs, damn right before quicksanding, Like no Cat, I quit like three months before quicksanding. I lost my whole fune had got new fun on that ship. That was the only place you had these songs. You have a fucking hard driver, none nothing. I ain't never had none of that shit shit. I had a fucking android, no bullshit, and I lost that shit at work. Hey, I got both. I still got my android. Oh god, no Cat, I got phone up. I got I got both.

But you know I can't let go of the galaxy. You know? Hell, yes you can, he said, yeah you can't. I did it. Yo. Did you find the quick sand beat on YouTube? Hell? Yeah, no, you just found the beat on YouTube? What what did you type in on YouTube? Like? What type beats did you type in to find it? Because everyone types in like something type beat, No Cat, I put. I put smooth hip hop and R and B and it popped up. It popped up. I was like, what the fun and there was it was a type beat,

A roddy type beat, Roddy rich type beat. It really was roddy rich and like somebody else X somebody else what it was? I said, shit, hardest fun. When I was like that's it hard, I'm like, let me see if I can do my ship on the motherfucker and it just it is already because I had wrote some of the lyrics, but I was without the beat and I was I was in my feelings. I was just writing. I was like, this beat, so I go crazy with this shi whoa okay? Hold? I was no, no no, no,

I can't. I can't be like that. I started over, kept writing. I was like, no, cat, I'm gonna users beat I down on that bitch YouTube and three timebody it exists is out there that got that beat? Use that ship hit him up? Like, bro, I want to buy the beat. So did you buy the beat before? It was like huge? Hell yeah? How much was the beat originally? I have no idea, but it probably wasn't a lot. I don't think like a couple hundred dollars or something. Maybe I don't know a lot of those

YouTube type beats you, I mean you could lease them. Nah, this song probably changed that guy's life too, cap Hey. I think his name is Chamberlain. Yeah, look him up, bro, he got some ship focable real rap, that YouTube ship is real. Nope, it's some fire YouTube producer. You no,

cap Hey. So you you mentioned you actually still write your lyrics down because a lot of times, like almost everybody I've been in the studio with over the last like five or six years, they like hum the melody right, and then they kind of filling the lyrics as they go. Are you still like actually writing lyrics, which I think is no cap super dope. I show my phone, Tom No bullshit, I write yesterday like I write my phone,

and my process is so weird. When I show you how I write, You're not gonna make no sense, especially because you're like a melodic guy. So do the lyrics come first of the melody or is it it depends on the beat? Like, look aw right, it don't make no sense. It just if I make spaces and slashes you feel me just but it makes sense to me. It's crazy with the slashes. Is back in the day, do you remember in the source they used to do the hip hop quotables. Yeah, they used to have slashes

in between the bars. That's how my dad used to write, like he rapped too. Oh, your dad was a rapper that was rapping back in the day. So when he writes, actually at his book and he used to have a little slashes, not the fact. Come think that's probably why I rap because your pops. That's crazy shit. Did your dad have any sort of like success locally or was he just kind of like, I don't know what did but I notice says something I don't know. I don't

know what. Bull. You got a good relationship with your pop? He cool? Yeah, cool? Your hip boy? You know who hip boy is? Yeah, hip boy. His dad got out of jail and they did like a HS eighty seven album and his dad was rapping all over the album and this shit came out fire as fuck. I believe were there, you guys aren't there? Yeah, we ain't there. No, he said, nah that I ain't wrapping none of my ship. We ain't. Can't have none of that, lawyer boy, Keep

doing the thing and be safe. But no features on street sermons. No, Sure, I really wanted to be like my ship I want people to like me for me, Like you don't bring your homie on a date, do you bet your crib? Let me get in this first date, let me let him give them know me, let me grab her hand, get a little kids. First second date, she bring a homie. Even That's how I wanted to be.

This is a relationship trying to build my fans. I want them to know that I'm gonna give them everything that I can no cap and I want also my colleagues to know andry like, yo, he gon come up some ship. If you want me a song, I'm not gonna bullshit your song. And also be so easy for you to like it, be like so typical, like with

who your manager is. Andre like for you to like humb with some crazy fe I think it's like dope that you're doing that, because, like you said, you're building a relationship with your fans, not based on who's on your ship. I think I think I owe it to him anyways, Like niggas really got a lot of questions, so I really want them to understand, like I'm gonna give y'all me so there's no doubt of who the fuck I am. Facts I'm a genuine cool nigga. That's it.

Is there gonna be a quick sand remix? Not ever ever. I'm so sorry that Hey, that's dope, that's my baby. I listened to that song and know, like yo, when I put that song out, I was so down bad. I didn't bro I didn't know where I was gonna live. You feel me, It's like, what the fuck is happening right now? I gotta pay my rest to do next month? My cardinal overdue. Cardinal is fucking two months old. Actually, like cell phone off three kids, I got a wife.

That song saved my life. Motion Leazy Picked six saved my life. I would never I would never remix it. I would never do nothing since we know that there isn't a remix and it's never gonna happen. Never gune your head. Hypothetically speaking, who would you have put on the remix if that if in a different world, if a remix were to actually happened, if you could have your choice for your baby, who would you have put

on it? Now we know it's never gonna happen, But who if you had to, I would say too, who the first one I would say? I would say cold because he's my city second one. I think Roddy will provide you up. He would have fucked that ship up, no count like for sure. Uh uh, I don't know he would do like that, although would have been hard. Uh. Now's the time of year where the Double XELF freshman thing is starting to become a discussion. Discussion. You were nominated,

thank y'all they nominated you, crazy. How important would that be for you to make that cover? It would be hell important? Like that's like no cap the hood really really fucked with Double X shell as far as like notability in the hood. Double x even changed that life.

You feel me like, and I've always grew up watching them ships, Like one of my favorite one is the one with the baby like that nigga wrapped for like fucking three minutes, four minutes, took over the show, Like I like Meggan the Stallion Boy, that ship too, niggas was gone whole shit crazy. That's what I wanted. I want to I want to make a step in the world, and Double Lexel will help me make my first step. So if you make the cover, how are you going

to do your freestyle? Are you gonna like come with some bars or are you gonna do the straight melody ship are you gonna do a little bit of both? Because you could rap rap too, You could do both, don't care. I mean when it comes to freestyle and you really gotta feel that beat out mean, so it depends on what be if yeah, you know what I mean. Yeah, if you make it, of course, but by by the double xel no cap, depending on what we did put on. I really want to just let niggas know that I

can go hypothetically speaking, you get on the cover. Who do you think deserves to be on the cover with you? Uh? Forty two Doug facts? I think he should be able to shisty facts. Let me see, I don't know a lot of damn. I'm so sorry blanket right now. I mean those two I think are probably shoe Winds. Yeah, hell yeah, they too. They too legitiquate niggas fire Yeah, I'm like, yo, if those guys don't make it, I don't know what the fun with God. I'm trying to see.

It was a lot of people up there that I was like, hell yeah, they definitely gotta make it. Uh, Coyla Ray is probably gonna make it. Mm hmm. Helia Yeah, she's I think she's on there. I believe so. I hope have you tapped in with Blast yet from l A I haven't, oh man, matter of fact, Yeah, he fire, he's fire, make some ship, I think so. I think so you and Blast I think so bro crazy? Oh god,

yeah he's he's crazy. So street termins is out. What if if someone's watching this and they've already heard quick saying, but they're like, they really haven't dived into the stuff you've been putting out since. Then, what's the one song you want everyone to go to first on the project? Uh? Like, if they can only hear one song on the project, Mistakes, Mistakes, that's the first song you will hear my project. That's

the intro. Yes, sir, I love that song because it's really gonna stay who I am, Like, you're gonna listen to this song like okay, yeah, I can see that ship, like I could see what he's trying to do. I can see who years. I could see the main trying to become and that's my baby. I love that's all. Mistake On the new record, you said the word you're BRONI on it. Yeah, that made me think that you may or may not be a wrestling fan. No, cap, I used to fuck with w W E no bullshit

like the Rockets, the Man. You know that people are brow got their stone cold stunning on God Rhinos. Rhino was out here. So so you was like that was your era? Yeah, okay, hell yeah, like I didn't quite make w W. I'm right after that ship you said Goldberg. Goldberg was a w He lingered. Oh yeah, he was kind of like he lingered you feel me? Oh God, I said, I think the good Spirit a couple of times. So you used to be in your spare time, like what is it like if if we're at your crib

or like what are your hobbies? What are your interests? Are you into sports? Are you into gaming? Like what do you? Yeah? No Cap, I played two K no bullshit matter or no g t a type ship like I've be chilling like I'm a dad, so I already do the whole party and this shit. So like smoking weed and telling my hummies and playing the games. Really wassed to go to team on two K this year. Clippers really always the Clippers always? Would you consider a Clipper fan? Of course? Why is my squad? Has it

always been your squad, Baron Davis, Oh B Diddy? Okay, so you o g with it? Okay, he played for the Hornets, of course, and me being from fairbel he was the guy when he was with the Hornets, so I funck with him and I just follow him to all his squads. But I was not following him to the Knicks, because that was washing. B Diddy. Not follow you to the Dicks, bro. The clip was with the Clippers. Yeah, no, captain, And now there we got it with every talking about

I don't care. I funck with y'all. Let's get it. They got ra now, okay, we got we got We gotta beat Demarkus Cousins at the bottom. DeMarcus Cousin, he ain't been he ain't been boogie for a while. He about to be you hey, boogie, Tell niggas stop playing with him. But you're not a Hornets fan, nah, I got love him two and a half hours away. I mean, I'm not essentially a North kind of sports team fan

like I even like I like the Seahawks. Man, you're a Seahawks fan like Alexander two thousand eight matters seven every single game. And I've been a fandom since he played with him, so I followed, I follow a player, and once he gone, I just they would just squa up. Wow, So no, fuck like not walking with the panthers. I mean, keep pounding, but pound out that's over there because the seahawk's coming through back you talking about on God Yo, Yo,

Russell Wilson man. I thought they were gonna trade him headed by not but then you know they're told listen, I'm a fan. But if y'all trade Russell, I'm going to Russell. You're going where he's going. Don't play the game with me. Please, don't play the game. I don't give a fuck. I love got to death, But if Russell leave, I'm going with Russell on the game. That's Hey,

what's the most random ship? That that? If someone were to check your playlist that you're listening to, that would that would be like surprised, like, oh, this motherfucker's listening to this. Uh, you're probably fine, Diedrich Hadden Seng. God is Good, that's my ship. I played like it's a track song. I don't even know what that is. God is good. God is good. Oh there's no Nickelback on your playlist? I fund look at this gun. Is it only one that makes me laugh? That's fire them boys.

No cat five? So like everyone's doing NFTs right now. I know your squad is extreme. You know what the NFT is? Have you heard the n FT? Oh? Manh is crazy? Put me on. It's like a fucking you know what bigcoin is? Oh yeah, yeah, oh my wife go crazy for crypto. Your wife's a crypto, bro, she's

Good Like I look at you get me all this money, bro, Like, let me get to it. So your wife is invested in the crypto heavily. She she actually know she home a lot and which will meet you with me. But she still be on the couch and she be reading her ship and she really be mm hmm. She don't make me richer, that's my stinker butt. Keep going, honey, have

I was like, Bro, that's more than the flight, but for sure, no Cap, that's crazy shit. No, that's some real shit. And Nobu in Vegas for like fifty fifty bucks and then you gotta take the Uber in Lax it's fucking three times a price. That's crazy. But in fab you ain't getting Uber. You might get one every

forty five minutes. No bullshite, you know, obviously shout out to Marshmallow. You know he's also dot com music, you know whatever you want to call him? Uh, A super nice guy, one of the biggest superstars in music. With your guys' relationship, Like my god, name what I fuck with?

No cap? What have you learned from him? Man? Because no Cap, it's funny because I sing, of course, but he definitely no pitches and keys and that shit is so dope to hassimin in the studio with so much knowledge and will lend you their ear, Like I feel like niggas will take ears for granted. There's people like him in the South Side and even more got a

fucking ear for music, you know what I mean. So like when you got young niggas who think they know what they're doing, listen to that next to you with that ear. Trust me that one thing he might change and make your song be five turn it up, you feel me. And he's a crazy producer like bro we always like, I think people who don't really like tapping

with what he does Mellow Mayda right. Well, but I'm saying like people like we always like associate him with like being this big DM guy, But this motherfucker makes slappers, no cat the records he's put out with rioting and all these people are crazy. If he was black, his tag should be Mellow Mada right, nigga, Like, no, cap it's that hard that he's just to say Melo Mada right and nigga, that'sh it is hard. Like do you get like first DIBs on some of his beats? I mean,

he keep a business, you feel me? Always blet my boys by the south Side. If I want it, I think he'd be like, let me see whats happening. You feel me? No cat, no cap, but we always keep profession. I'm about to ask for a beat unless I know you won't give to me no cap. Are you on any of his upcoming music or if you, I mean you guys have had to have collaborated, whether or not it's gonna ever come out, But I mean that would happen.

I mean, I mean I would hope you guys have collaborated ship no cat, I definitely hop in a couple of his beats. They fine here here yo, no fucking here the goat like, I would keep it a whole. That nigga him the south Side together are fucking dangerous. You get a nice little team of bro I got some of the greatest producers of all time, squad I got, and they my hommies like fuck with them niggas, bro like with chill, like I funck with them niggas. They

And because I feel like they was like, Nigga, you want a good show, spend that ship you like your fan Like, hey, y'all, how y'all do He was like, Nigga, spend that ship and how have you give your fans a good time? And they made me realize, like Nigga'm in a different

They was like yeah, yeah, I was like, what no for that fail five got? Since you've been making some uh some good some good rap money, Uh, what's the dumbest thing you've bought? What's your big purchase so far that you were like, hey man, I'm gonna just do this. I mean the watch was

free weed. Oh, you spend a lot of you on weed, Bro, I didn't know I smoked as much. I bought eight jars of weed yesterday and I'm smoking on just your ship now you you blue through all the eight jars? Huh, Bro. And in North Carolina, it's not legal. We still got the block word, but they'd be how with some five block word and then niggas be like traveling to get the weed. But it's like, I can't wait till we got the dispensary, nigga. I love this weed. This ship

five mm hmm that especially weed different. What did you ever eat edibles? Yeah? I don't do nothing though. Edibles still do nothing to you. You know you're not eating enough now. Wow, don't I don't know what's going on? Bro? Have you ever done mushrooms? Nah? Hell or not? What you wouldn't do mushrooms? Here? No? Look, I small weed? What I don't do syrup? I don't

know that. Don't shrooms is not like shums is not for me. You don't know that I do do that? Shi saying like you can't compare it to lean or like coke. You definitely cannot. For meat, you gotta try that ship. You wouldn't try it heada that ship. I mean that's good though, weed is good. You gotta eat more edibles though, that's either or eat the whole candidate. You mad me that VAPI five, So I'll stick with that. What do you what? What would you consider your biggest vice? Yeah?

Probably no, probably probably we I mean I don't have that's advice. I don't know. No, I'm gonnakeep it a bed? What the ice means? My biggest vice is I like to fucking eat, Like just like you've never heard us in the senter of this crazy This advice is like a con of like like you know, some people's vice is gambling. Some people's vices pussy, some people's vice nude, some people's vices. You know what would be your biggest vice,

Benny Hannas was like, it's it's like, yeah, I mean, it's not fan. It's not not any fancier than fucking I mean, it's a little fancier than fancy than me because you heard any rap songs. Oh God, like I was a fan like six months ago, So let's still do to me. You

On every corner. There's a Boba a midst. They fucking love out here. They even have boba in North Carolina. I don't so weird as you know. Do they have wuah wah in North Carolina? Nah, that's NBA. Go to that gas station. Get you a fucking sandwich, sandwich of cheese, stead they got fries all
