You know the crazy thing about New York though, you guys are kind of trying to be Cali now with the weed except for you guys are way more unregulated. No, you guys are like the wild Wow West for real with the weed ship.

Speaker 1

Now, I ain't got we we got it's differently. Ain't like this is cool with the ship I got is walking. I don't know if it's tweaking with this.

Speaker 3

He I don't even think it's See.

Speaker 2

That's big out straight from northern California where all the weed field fields are they. You guys are just getting packs from us. All that ship in New York is coming from here. You just got a guy who got a guy and the ship gets put in the mail or someone drives. Yeah, so this is the thing about New York City now right, you guys can now go to like a smoke shop and buy shrooms.

Speaker 1

Yo rooms, would you like to eat?

Speaker 3

True?

Speaker 2

Ya take a shroom, Probable, give me your bags. He just started taking him. It was it's like, Yo, the best I ever had, bro.

Speaker 1

And they got the gushes, not the nasty.

Speaker 2

You're trying to show before the freestyle is the real question? Yeah, you can do it? Yeah he said no.

Speaker 6

No says no, man, It's okay, save it, to save it, not save it, take it true, save it.

Speaker 2

Though, everybody should take a.

Speaker 3

Healthy you remember the last time healthy drug, the last time you told everybody to take a ship? Good of you.

Speaker 4

I've been taking like six.

Speaker 2

What this is a micro I'll take one with shot the tops. It's my ship. So so you guys are from Brooklyn, right yeah, Badside? You from Bedside? Oh you guys know about mop Yeah we were just talking about mash Out Posse, my favorite rap groups ever, Brownsville, Home of the Brave, put in work in the Street like

a slave. That one of my favorite Raproosh's Brownsville still because there was a double Xcel article when I was a little kid and they interviewed m O. P. And I remember they were talking about how they were like they were just saying how crazy Brownsville was. I always just assume browns was like the craziest place on earth. Is it still that bad? Oh? I mean it's probably worse. The gentrification hasn't hit Brownsville yet.

Speaker 1

I mean they try it right, but it's not doing nothing because the danger the crowd is good.

Speaker 2

The white people away. Yeah, I'm the hipsters, bodies who don't shave their armpits, all types that in coffee shops. You know, never go to a Starbucks. You gotta support the indies. How long have you guys been rapping?

Speaker 1

I mean I've been wrapping my whole life, but I just started taking ship games when I was seven.

Speaker 2

For me, okay, seven said seven. You were wrapping when you were six months old.

Speaker 1

I mean obviously I can't even talk when I'm six months You said your whole life, sir, same said seven, you were seven.

Speaker 2

Yeah, I've rapped.

Speaker 1

I was a kid, but I just started taking it seriously two years ago.

Speaker 2

Two years ago, what was there like a catalyst for you that like made you take it serious? Viral or nah?

Speaker 1

Like life hit me, like I graduated high school when I realized I had to do it all in my life. Yeah, my parents wanted me to go to college, but I didn't want to do what I I wanted to find my own path, and my pastor was music, So I chose my paston.

Speaker 2

What about you? How long you've been rapping?

Speaker 4

Uh?

Speaker 3

I remember rapping for like two years now?

Speaker 2

You started two years ago?

Speaker 3

Yeah, I started rapping two years ago, Jesus. But music, like it's been involved, Like I played the instruments before I started rapping, like I've been in a b before.

Speaker 2

I saw your dad's like a music teacher.

Speaker 3

Yeah, you know what's crazy? He was?

Speaker 2

Yeah, Like was he like the music teacher at the school like you?

Speaker 3

No, No, he was not specifically for my school, but you know he had an interest in music, So I guess it's a genetic thing, like even before the rapping, and I just love music.

Speaker 2

What the instruments you play?

Speaker 3

I played trumpet, piano, I tried to do baitar and drums.

Speaker 2

Have you decided Have you busted out any of the instruments for any production yet?

Speaker 3

Nah? But recently I've been thinking.

Speaker 2

About it kind of hard.

Speaker 3

Yeah, probably, Yeah, I will learn trumpet again.

Speaker 2

Yeah, I was great.

Speaker 3

It was in my class.

Speaker 2

So were you like, because you know, I think when you're like really good at instruments, can't you travel and like do like shows and ship like.

Speaker 3

The Yeah, yeah, we started doing was like we had an independent group in my school that I went to. We started doing shows, but it was mainly just like you know, in the city. We were young, couldn't really go.

Speaker 2

That's fire, could go too far. So two years two years? Yeah, yes, so you were short of rapping during the pandemic. That's fucking wild.

Speaker 3

That was we was like we was in a crib. I was going through a lot, like a lot. I mean, it was just a lot of toime on our hands and stuff. You know.

Speaker 2

And you guys, did you guys graduate high school during the pandemic?

Speaker 3

Yeah, like I have a prom. My graduation was on the football field.

Speaker 2

I feel like the pandemic was like six months ago. But like it's like it's just crazy to think, like like we were.

Speaker 3

Still in the pandemic. I don't know how to explain it.

Speaker 2

That should change everybody. Do you think like had the pandemic not happened, you guys wouldn't have like focused on the music. Maybe might ended up doing something else.

Speaker 3

So good course me personally, I know I probably wouldn't be rapping. I don't know the pandemic. No, it just striped a lot.

Speaker 2

It was good for me. I mean, I don't know, man, I caught COVID three.

Speaker 3

Times, but I did call COVID too.

Speaker 2

You did you? Yeah? Just once? Did you guys get the job? The job? What's the job? Fucking vaccine? Oh? What the job? Yeah? I got the job. I didn't do it. I didn't run. I didn't spend the block on the job. Do I got the one?

Speaker 1

Yeah?

Speaker 2

You gotta reap. It wasn't doing what one do. I gotta just get so I can go to places.

Speaker 3

They like forced us to do it, and they started giving a hundred dollars.

Speaker 1

I caught it worse like what I called COVID again.

Speaker 2

What then was the purpose of the job? I don't know. I don't know. We won't dive into that because we want to make sure this YouTube video stays up the Yo. It's crazy because like I feel like, you know, the drill scene in I mean, now that's really New York. Sound like when we think about like the hot ship

out of New York. It's really the drill shit. But like Brooklyn in particular, I feel like right around like twenty eighteen, twenty nineteen is like really when shiit like really popped off, like pop Smoke, Fabio all that shit busy, Like yeah for you guys. Were you guys always like big drill fans because you I.

Speaker 1

Mean, that's the enviolument for me, that's over here. I'll go outside out of the drive.

Speaker 3

It's like you love it more when you was around it. So it's like when pop Smoke came out, like you know, you had people from Kanosi, Like I went to school in Kanosi.

Speaker 2

I actually went to a hung out with a Dusty Locino there.

Speaker 3

Yeah, so it's like the love like that he had to the hood. It just makes you. It makes them like they.

Speaker 2

Caught the floor. Yeah, the floor on point like op over there, shout to them, got some good food over there. I felt like it was like it was cool. You know some parts man, you have you guys ever been in the part of Brooklyn where they got the it's like the Hasidic Jewish community. I don't know, bro I went over there with Roster. It's a lot of Jewish community. It's the Hissitic Jewish community. So like they have like their own police force, and they have their own ambulances

and ship. It's fucking live. So like if you got stabbed over there and the ambulance was there, they'd be like, nah, word, that's so crazy specific like because they have their own Like you know, New York's a wild place, bro, It's so much culture. It's amazing. I love it there. Oh when you guys go to l A Though or other places, do you realize, like my life would be a lot less stressful if I got the funk out of this place.

Speaker 3

This is why we like me personally. All like getting out of New York like it's it's any visit.

Speaker 1

It's like New Yorker's reality. You gotta get on the subway bro with people you don't no oh no, no, we've been started taking this out bay.

Speaker 2

But you gotta walk down the fucking street like.

Speaker 1

You're not doing that saw you put yourself in the Dif're not doing it in New York.

Speaker 3

But that's why I like other places because it's like I get to walk, like you get to walk, like I get to take a nice.

Speaker 2

Walk and just like get it, leave your front yard, get in your car, get some fucking food.

Speaker 1

Now, I'll probably do that anywhere, but New York it's different than New York. Like I ain't gonna lie, you're not even with me in New York. Like I'm always gonna v niggas don't know my next move, like you abady know how to move in New York, Bro.

Speaker 2

There is Like I do feel like there's a lot of like negative connotations with drill music, Like we think that like a lot of the violence has come from some of the beefs, which obviously derives mostly from the streets, not necessarily the music. I do feel like you guys are moving with a lot more of like a positive energy.

Speaker 1

We're trying to change the image a lot of people just drugs.

Speaker 2

Some negative shit that's sucking up hip hop. But no, bro, it's not that. It's just style of music, right, It's a style of rapping. It's the style of beats, style of music. And everybody's on the drill shit. Now I just think of like a letter, Yeah, here you go. Would you guys say you guys are making a conscious effort to kind of change the narrative and just kind of do it in your own way where it's not necessarily so revolving around the drama, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3

I feel like that's why people straight to us, because it's like we don't like tend to go towards the distance, like you know, like all the bad things about drill, Like we just have our own sound to it. And that's what people like, you know, I'm trying to say. It's like, be different. We're not trying to do what everybody else is doing.

Speaker 1

Everybody else they rely on the district because controversy brings views.

Speaker 2

Yep. I feel like you guys are just relying on good music. We real artists, Like we really make real.

Speaker 3

Music rather express the talent than the politics.

Speaker 2

That's super dumpe Uh. You write your guy out here, you're the third person? Is he not here? What's he at? Man? Just not here?

Speaker 1

I mean he was coming, but like I'm just keeping a buck with you for me, he was coming and then the plane turned around Jesus, so they put him on a new plane in the turn round the gun m hm.

Speaker 3

Probably was.

Speaker 2

Turned around, not coming. He would have been, He would have been.

Speaker 3

He tried to get here twice, so it's like.

Speaker 2

So would you guys kind of consider yourself Obviously, you guys put music out together as a group. You guys are collective, right, but you guys are all also solo artists. It kind of is some mootank type vibes and kind of like how Griselda is. You know, what are some of the rap groups that y'all can like tell me you grew up listening to the kind of influence with y'all with you because we're kind of like the group era in music has been over for a long time.

We kind of stopped having that last group I remembers like Migos. It's like Migos, like Race. It's like very few groups. That's where like I was growing up, everybody was gon fucking group. There was like millions of groups. My Deep Gang, Star, m Opu, Tangil, that's these Child, Yeah.

Speaker 3

That's Jackson five. Yeah, all it was a lot of groups.

Speaker 2

Groups used to be a thing. It was a new group on your guys's label, Flow right, Chris, Chris, Chris Flows a group right. I'm trying to tell me, like that's like the first thing that you haven't had.

Speaker 3

Something like that in a while since.

Speaker 2

They have a new song with Missy Elliott. Anybody that you guys are aspiring to work with, just on some fan ship that out It could be New York, to be outside of New York. Anybody you guys want to fucking like? Yeah, who's like? Who's your who's your favorite rapper ever? All right? My favorite rapper ever?

Speaker 1

All in all, I got a lot of favorite rappers. There's gone three of them, all right. I love Little Dirk like I listened to a lot of Little Dirk for me.

Speaker 2

Uh that makes sense.

Speaker 1

Michael Jackson us like I grew up listening to Michael Jackson. I feel like I got my totally not a rapper for Michael Jackson, yeah, not even just as music, just everything about it. For me, it was motivational. You're a little old though, not even man young And for him, uh.

Speaker 2

Who else? Michael Jackson? And uh, I don't know.

Speaker 1

He's not my favorite rapper, but I feel like Drake is the best rapper I'm favor I respect you, I respect that opinion.

Speaker 3

I got a lot of favorite rappers too. Over the top of my head, Nicki Minaj to Nikki Younger.

Speaker 2

May Shot young May.

Speaker 3

My last one. Uh, I would tie it with a little baby and little Dirk.

Speaker 2

No baby and little Dirk. I like a little baby too. I think a little baby.

Speaker 3

I feel like this sounds compliment.

Speaker 2

He's you like the Joint Joint album.

Speaker 3

It's a little slept on it, but when they come together, it's amazing.

Speaker 2

I agree, like they're both going on there on to who's better?

Speaker 1

I say, little Dirt, you think Dirk is a better I like Dirk better. I feel like Dirk makes better music, that's my opinion.

Speaker 2

A little baby, Yeah, who's a better at rapping? Who's better rapping? Rapping? Skill wise? Yeah? Okay? You like I respect all about making a good song?

Speaker 3

It is, it is, it is.

Speaker 2

You know what? You know what little baby got? A little Dirt, don't got what hits like? Actually, tell me one hit, like a real hit. I'm not talking about streaming. I'm not talking about in the streets, in the club on to mouth. You got in the car and the radio was on, and I'm not talking about laughing now crying later. I was just, yo, what I all? That is a Drake song? I was about to say, I was so good Drake yet to have this?

Speaker 3

He is?

Speaker 2

Whose song was that?

Speaker 3

Tell me?

Speaker 2

The Little Dirk song that has been an actual hit. It doesn't exist. But what I'm talking about, like top ten on Billboard by himself. I'm talking about this is like baby, little Baby got fifteen of those.

Speaker 3

Yeah, Little Dirk was up and then he went down and then he came up.

Speaker 2

You know what I love about Dirk though, it's his story because he's been He's like that, you know, like he's evolved so much in front of our eyes. He's missing the hit record though he gotta he got. I think it will separate him. You know, that was crazy. It's crazy that I'm right. He was, like I was about to say, laughing, Now that's what you want to hit this you guys. You guys got out. We always hear about like negative aspects of the music industry. If you guys experienced anything you don't like about being in the music industry, any fake shit you've encountered, anything that's just like.

Speaker 3

Oh my god, I feel like the industry is mad for the industry is I was about to say, the industry is sofa sweet. It's like a game to it.

Speaker 2

You gotta play the game.

Speaker 1

It's like it is you gotta play the win or you're just not gonna play by the rules. Okay, That's why I.

Speaker 2

Tell people, I'm like, man, you gotta kind of just give in a little play the game. And then there's people say like, yo, we gotta get up, we gotta do something, we gotta work, And then you never hear from mhm, what is the best chop cheese in Brooklyn? I don't know.

Speaker 1

I will stop you chop cheese. I'm really more of a big nugga cheese type and nugga.

Speaker 3

Okay, a few times in your life, no, like like three two years ago, you siving back to back. I just know the hoods not to get it from.

Speaker 2

Don't go to Bushwick for your chop cheese, gentrified.

Speaker 3

I don't know what it is.

Speaker 2

It's just wrong. Exactly what is trying, That's what it is. Don't do don't go to Williamsburg for chop.

Speaker 3

Any thing though.

Speaker 2

Yeah, Williamsburg is like, I don't even know what it is.

Speaker 3

I don't think Williamsburg knows how to make any know they have.

Speaker 2

They probably got a bunch of organic bullshit. And and and again. Let's get back to the independent coffee shops that never had coffee.

Speaker 3

I had coffee one Tom. I had one like one Tom. But coffee is not.

Speaker 2

Good like it doesn't taste dirt. You've never had coffee in your dirt.

Speaker 3

It doesn't taste The time I had coffee, I had to force myself to drink.

Speaker 2

It to stay coffee once, Yeah, to stay up. And it's it kept me up, guys. I've never been a Starbucks.

Speaker 3

I've been a Starbucks. I picked out a big old.

Speaker 2

Cheese that ship is crazy to me. You never had use other things like boot just not cocaine, right, good, that's not good for the cocaine. We don't do no cool caine. That's good. What do you used to boost your energy? Take like a five hour shot? Yeah, I guess we could call it though. What about you? No coffee? That's fucking wild to me. I drink coffee every fucking day of my It's I would be or just I don't know. Yeah, maybe I just got to get up and have a black coffee black. I like it black.

What's the difference between black and white coffee? Okay, so let me tell you. Right, so all coffee is originally black, and then it becomes Williamsburg gentrified. They gentrify the black coffee with some caramel, maybe some heavy cream, maybe some half in half, maybe some almond milk.

Speaker 4

I like coffee, I said, I don't see that it's nasty.

Speaker 3

It just keeps, it just gets the job.

Speaker 2

That Have you guys ever had a caramel macchiato.

Speaker 3

I don't even like caramel.

Speaker 2

Mocha. You gotta it's a vanilla vanilla man, y'ago McDonald's. I got great coffee. I mean I'm not great everything in McDonald's for being honest McDonald's fire. I just like to point it out.

Speaker 5

You guys like McDonald's don't get up paying a lot because every time I like, let's go to McDonald's, like McDonald's is after act, but we just can't.

Speaker 2

Everyone acts like McDonald's isn't good. It's mad good. It's not good for you, but it's fucking amazing. Should have tasty.

Speaker 3

I don't know what it is.

Speaker 2

You get a fucking cheeseburger and you stuff it with fries, with there, with there. He washed it down with that signature only McDonald's coke because it doesn't taste.

Speaker 3

Do you really be telling us like we can't related?

Speaker 2

And guess what the McDonald's sprite, that's the wacky spike. It's the only sprite that tastes like that tastes like it's McDonald's bright statics. I don't know. TV static is crazy.

Speaker 3

Like it changes my orteries right.

Speaker 2

Yeah, it's like what about the orange I sea for McDonald's Orange Ship's fire. I like the food, like after twelve everything closed to your ship.

Speaker 1

Yeah, you can eat a lot though, So that's like the fourth mill of the day, you eat the last mill.

Speaker 2

Of the day. What's your guys favorite cuisine?

Speaker 3

Every day? Shake every morning. I don't know why that's the first bill, but because it's because we wake up late to So it's like the.

Speaker 2

Perfect is fire.

Speaker 1

You get those cheese fries, like and they got Allied Burgers. I fit for me, eat that ship and three bites.

Speaker 2

They got the fucking milkshakes, they got the s that's you guys got dogs. You can get a dog a treated.

Speaker 3

They didn't. I say, I don't you know.

Speaker 2

I told him Jack a dollar. But like a dog that's gonna die.

Speaker 3

He said, when the dog dies, and I'm crying, never home, He's gonna laugh. So it's like.

Speaker 2

Laughing her trauma that.

Speaker 3

You got a point, like, we don't be in the house to take you.

Speaker 2

I was like, don't do the dog if you live in New York because you gotta go outside of walking walking on the fucking sidewalk. No, you guys just moved to move to l A.

Speaker 3

You move out the state, and.

Speaker 2

That's gonna be more settled for We're gonna be more situationship. We could do that. What kind of dog do you want?

Speaker 3

I don't even want to do I want to like a can because I don't like walking, but I don't want to walk dogs Like why can'ts evil?

Speaker 2

I don't know. I feel like it's just like an animal evil. I can't see why. I don't know. They just they just show really what happened? Cast is always valdu Me is young? How has a cat violated you? Sir?

Speaker 5

Yo?

Speaker 1

Like, I'm like, yo, bro, we're my mother, Like I used to be going to school for me coming home from basketball practice type ship for me, I'm going home to my crib.

Speaker 2

I see something in the just like, I'm like, what's that?

Speaker 3

Straight cats?

Speaker 2

I'm still walking and ship for me? I walked past this ship. I turned around scratching my legas I'm running the ship, driving my lega ship. I'm sure it wasn't a whole legg's bleeding and that should happened like three times. You are fucking unlucky, bro, Straight cats next year. I don't know why they're out the way usually I don't know sure it wasn't a rat. Yo on the size of cats. Rits is like the old thing I might be scared of, Like, how do you live where you live?

They're everywhere I see a rita. I'm out. Look, I will play like that. I used to fu. You would never have a pet rat with a little hamster rat? Oh god, why would you keep it right? In this world? There are white people that have those. For me, what would you ever have a rat?

Speaker 3

No?

Speaker 2

No, you want a cat? Yeah? What's the How do you deal with the rats in New York? They're fucking It's like wild, it's pretty crazy. It is crazy, But like we don't woke more, so we don't gotta deal with that no more. He get rolled around money level fell Come on, you got somebody carrying you around?

Speaker 3

Hey?

Speaker 2

You know who? I just by the way, shout out to Lola Brook. I just had her booked at my club in Scottsdale, and she had a guy carrying her around.

Speaker 3

She always go every time.

Speaker 2

Every time, she always get in the piggy back.

Speaker 3

She's so small, it's.

Speaker 2

Like she's I did not understand how small.

Speaker 3

When I seen her again and it happened again, I was like, oh, yeah, this is a routine.

Speaker 2

Yeah. I didn't understand how small Loller Brook was. And I met her and I was like, she got to get a bottom in places for me, it makes sense. No, for sure. Yeah, shouts of Lola Brook, She's killing it for you. What's it like being uh a female doing what you do?

Speaker 3

I mean, there's a lot of answers to that question. There's a lot of answers to that question. Give me a few me personally, since me being the only female in the group, I try to you know, that's why probably the females like me so much, because you know they try to like I try to straight towards them, like I'm trying to be the voice for them out of the group, right, I'm trying to be like on some different ship, like you know, like the negative vibes

of the Jewish. I only even I don't even entertain that. I'm focusing on my music and you know, I'm trying to be big like it's not a lot of females like me doing what I'm doing for sure, trying to say so really trying to stand my own you know, my own path focus on.

Speaker 2

Now I gotta ask, are you guys shout to you? I wasn't asked, like you've mentioned young and May is one of your favorite like like like do you feel like kind of like she kind of like like you got to kind of similar to you from where you're from doing it because I.

Speaker 3

Was young at the time. She was blowing up and it's just like I like the music.

Speaker 2

At the same time, she could wrap her ass off.

Speaker 3

Hell is that's probably I tried to straight towards the the lyrical ship. When I rap to her and Nicki Minaj is the way they rip is like when I'm listening to the songs, I say, oh, like, I want people to have that reaction to my music.

Speaker 2

Ni Out wrapped some legends on their own ship young.

Speaker 3

Man specifically, though she for me, she had crazy heads.

Speaker 2

For sure, and I still think she slept on.

Speaker 3

Still and it's really because it just really don't for me.

Speaker 2

Like in high school, your dad like forced to be around people, so it's like it's easier to like meet people, make friends. You're out of high school, when you're really on your own, like you got to learn how to maneuver like with different people and.

Speaker 2

The school year. You went to Africa in the middle of school.

Speaker 3

Yeah, I went to Africa. My mom took me.

Speaker 2

From Africa.

Speaker 3
