Rolling Boulet Cap Podcast special guests in here from Chicago. Your new project is dropped. So trench Baby three, trench Baby three little is in the building. Man, Well, so welcome, welcome? Is this a new is this a relatively new chain? The trench Baby chain? I probably got this like a year ago. Not like it's a serious piece of ice right there, the baby with the ski mask and the miss and the matching ring. That's what's that. I've never
seen the ring chain or something. Oh, that's that's what some have been lying, oh some at some Okay, how did you get your name? Man? Let's get the mic raight if you can move the mic in front of you. Perfect. Yeah. First at first they was calling me like zays. You know, Lise, you know me being in the streets for a long time, you know it just start oh some oh something. I
guess it was off the street ship, you know. Yeah. Uh, how long has it been since you decided to fully focus on music and get out of the streets fully because a lot of people do the one foot in, one foot out shit real? Since I got out of jail, because you know, I wouldn't did juvenile life. And then when I got out, you feel me. It's just like, yeah, I gotta focus on my craft, you know, I gotta get my people out of the hood. I gotta get myself together. And that's really the only lane I knew.
You know, I wouldn't I know how to adapt to anything like hustling, fraud, whatever, you know what I'm saying. But like, that wasn't what I wanted to do. You know what I'm saying. The music what I wanted to do. So, Yop, you can't open the door. You go in there. You want a water boom, Gotta hydrate, gotta get the water man. So you said that, Uh you obviously you did some time in juvenile What time did you get locked up? You're sixteen when I was fifteen? And then when did
you get out when I was? Oh I was I was nineteen, So you did four years in between juvie. So when you got arrested, did you go from juvenile hall to like the adult shit? Nah? I went from the AUDI Home, which is a juvenile correctional center, and then I went from the AUDI Home and got sentenced, and then I went to DC Department of Correction, Love DC. You can't be over twenty one and no got you.
So you ended up doing time as a juvenile and then all and then moving on to the actual like being in jail with like people who are adults and shit. So that was like something that kind of shook you up, obviously. No, hell no, I was already used to it. You know. I was in the streets. I was going to do thirty days, then get out, Go do sixty days, then get out, go do two months, three four months, get out. You feel me. I was always back and forth, locked up.
When that real time came, it was like I was already used to it for real. Damn, what was your charge? I had aggravated discharge with a fight. I had an arm robbery. I had a vehictor high jack. I had a couple of a lot of ship, four years worth of ship. Well you made it man out, you made it out. You made it out from the other side. I saw that. You said that back in the day, used to rob all the cameraman in Chicago. Come on, man, I don't do that. I had my little up. No,
I did my I did my little wrong ship. I was gonna say, like, did you ever spend the block on the cameraman where they ended up working with you later on, because you know, there's there's only a few cameramen I'm sure. I mean, I don't know. I don't even for real, for real, I don't even remember all the dumb ship I used to be on back when I was on for Surety ship. But like I used to be on some goofy ship like that. But I don't remember exactly all the ones. You know, it probably
is because all the cameramans fucking me. You know, I even I am today, you know, I overcame all that just so a lot of the cameramens fuck with me. It probably been one of the years I don't even remember so long ago. It feels like a cameraman is probably the easiest lit right I was, really I was. It wasn't like I was doing it for the money. I was really doing it to get my own camera to shoot my own videos and have my my cameraman
shoot my videos. So you wouldjacked the nice camera, give it to your cameraman, and it'd be like you got new equipment, shoot my ship. That's not a bad I mean, listen, that's not bad. At least you weren't like at least there was some sort of purpose. You were doing it to further your career thing I do. It's for a purpose, yeah, and it ain't never for no reason. Trench Baby three, you got some dope features on here. Icewarve was one of my favorite artists is on there. I congrats to
him in the QC situation. Yeah, for obviously, Durk Herbo for you, like this is technically is this your first project, like as like under a major? No, hell no, I did Hood Bible, I did Baby one, so this is okay? So this this hood Bible. I did Hood Bible, I did trench Baby one, Trench Baby two, and it's trench Baby three. So folk mixtape since I've been under one? So is this considered the tape for Ah's a mixtape? Okay? These days I hate I hate the mixtape differentiate feel
like a bootleg. You know what I'm saying. But how do you what's the album to the mixtape difference? Like it feels like it's all the same nowadays. I don't know that it is kind of the same. But I don't like calling the mixtape because you feel like I'm saying my ship bootleg or some ship. You know why. I like the call it of the project or album. You know why the label, like because the label doesn't count against your contract, so they love it when it's
called a mixtape. No, not necessarily. Most if you recoup, you know, then that bitch go go or some ship, and they gonna count that bitch as an album. They have to. Yeah, yeah, they're gonna count that mo fuckers. So uh do you? Because I feel like your buzz is like really catching fire. What do you think like has been the difference in the last like twelve months or so some sh it's really catching fire for you in terms of just like was it things you were
doing differently? Was it a certain record that went crazy? Like why do you think like you got the most eyes on your light right now? I feel like the momentum going crazy right now, you know what I'm saying. Because my brother Smirk hopped up on the Fuck my Cubs, Yeah, he hopped on that record, So a lot of more people reaching out, you know what I'm saying, niggas I hit seeing the message like hey, oh I ain't even see this? What up? Like you know, like, eh, body, Yeah,
things falling in place since Bro hopped on the record. Yeah, I feel like we always talk about how people get the Drake stimulus package. There's like a such thing as a Dirk stimulus package. Yea, so nowadays, bro my daughter, But Dirk gang like turning niggas could real round like folks hop on the record. I mean, we talked about that he had up the skull, which I feel like really put him in a different space. Dirk hopped on
that motherfucker took him out of the Boston Richie. Dirk hop on that blood golden and this ship He's stamp ship for sure. For people who have never heard Fuck my Cousin, Yeah, the song titles wild explain fuck my Cousin. It was like I just couldn't sugarcoat it, you know, that's what it was. You know, I got a lot of cousins that's on the other side with the ops. So if you have a family member who's on the other side with the ops, fuck them. Hell yeah, fuck
them because they don't think they're saying about you. Fuck you you op. You know, like of course it won't like I ain't seen these niggas since I was a kid, you know what I'm saying. But then my cousins, though you feel me, So it really ain't no relationship that anyway. You feel what I'm saying. It's just that we know we cousins, you know, and it's up he on that side.
I'm on this side and have been times out of gave my cousin and passes like noah, folks, don't do that, or I was gonna keep it moving or catch him. He's so goofied out. He's such a fucking clown. Catch him, smack him up, punch him up, put it on camera, uploaded on the ground or something like. Just treat him like a flat yeah, like ship like that. Like but here, Yeah, my homie shot my cousin and miss up, I see
my cousin, Miss Up. Is there is there like a family like okay, because you could be you could be cousins with somebody and barely know them. Yeah for sure, Right, that's that's that's normal. That's what it really is. Like with the cousins that I'm in too with. You feel what I'm saying, Like I norm I grew up with them, But it's like, ain't no bond or no relationship. Yeah,
you know what I'm saying. For me to feel some type of way you have a stronger bond with your brothers that are yeah, my brothers and my sisters, Like I got real actual cousin is that I know that will never turn on me, never go fuck with the ops, never do no out of order ship or cross me. You know, I got cousins like that. That's my real family, right that you grew up with that you're super close
and I'm super super close with for sure. Damn does the auntie ever call like your mom and be like hey, yeah, And there been times like that in the past, Like even one of my ops that's dead, like his daddy is from well, my mama and my daddy and then from where I grew up as a kid though right then I moved from over there, but my mom and
them from over there. That's where they grew up at all they life forty third state speaking, you know, Like he came and talked to me like, yeah, y'all leave that shit alone, y'all family woo, you know, but this shit too deep, like bloodshit behind this shit already, so motherfucker really can't take that shit back. I think that's what civilians have a hard time wrapping their head around.
Why the psych who doesn't stop. And I think what they don't understand is once blood is shed, it's like almost like I'm not talking about your I'm not talking about it. For the record, though, I won't make it clear. I'm not talking about you or any situation you're I just mean in terms of gang violence in general. Yeah, it's just like, boy, you gotta understand, bro, if if you kill me, I got kids, I got brothers, I got cousins that I don't want to get to get back. Boy,
they ain't gonna play about me. They ain't gonna forget about me. Boy, Right, It's gonna be generations and generations of this ship. You feel me, This shit go on and go on like generations for real, for real, It's not possible. You took my fucker love one out this ship. My fucker ready to man fuck ready to go all out. You know. Did you see, uh, recently twenty one Savage spoke about like in Atlanta, obviously there's a lot of
gang or a lot of gun violence happening. Did you see the twenty one Savage had said he just kind of was trying to put a message out there to everybody to like kind of, you know, try I think I saw a postal. He was like, we we need to do better, Yeah, do better, try to keep the peace. Like do you think like it would take somebody like in that position to kind of like do the same
thing in Chicago? It doesn't matter, Like I mean, I feel like, like I told you, it's like we I know me personally, bro, we was in walls from generations to go to my big homy and my old than them homing and on was in you feel what I'm saying, and the end it just it just kind of gets passed on. So like that's that ship will never be over with. I don't care who you is, bro, Like
that should never be over with. Niggas can't come to agreement and come to each other and talk and be like, let's squash this shit or leave it alone, or he gonna be considered a whole He's gonna be considered a bitch as nigga pussy a nigga. Niggas proud in the way that it ain't gonna never It feels like pride is probably the biggest thing standing in the way and a lot of that shit right, yeah for sure. But you know, like I told you, death too pride and death.
Niggas got locked up since the eighty years he told and he's still out of jail. Niggas trying to kill him like this. It's all types of situations, do you think, Like, for someone like yourself that has found a way to get out of that environment, it's like the only right thing to do is to kind of get out of Chicago and and and try like I told him in La now, so you feel you think of someone like
Chief Keith. I don't think Chief Keep's been back for I don't know how long, but you know, it feels like he got about the way someone like God damn snuck and never told nobody just out now. But for the most part, I don't think you've been out there. But hell yeah, Like it's better to just get away, you know, it's better just get the fuck out the city you already got, Like I'm just saying me, I already got ops, hella ops. You feel what I'm saying.
And there's money and there's motherfucking fame. This ship bring mot enemies and mold problems and bullshit. You feel what I'm saying, So they just add on. So it's best to just get the fuck away, get out of those city, tuck off and run that ship up and take care of your people for real, for real, this shit really dried up in the streets. This shit over with. Yeah,
I think that's smart. Man, Help me understand, because you know, sometimes I get frustrated from the outside looking in when I see people who have real beef with like real people who are from their city, like situations that you were just talking about. But then we'll beef with rappers that aren't from their city, and then that equals ship and it's like almost like yo, like rap beef is so it's turning into something very serious. Obviously, people have
lost their lives in some of these beefs. But because this ain't this shit ain't back then like how you will see like you'll see like or something or p Diddy, Like they'll be like on the internet going back and forth arguing like real, but it's like you don't never see nobody dead behind it or you don't never see it like go up for real for real. So motherfucker's on the outside from the street street standpoint, like, man, that'sh it fake the niggas doing that, that's a publicity stunner.
Some shit, you know what I'm saying, Like like us nowadays, like it ain't no faking, like we don't know how to fake. Were too real for this shit, Like we don't know how to fake. Like if it's up, it's up. We ain't finela, We ain't finna do no shit. I'm gonna stop saying we me, I ain't finna do no shit. To hop on the internet and be like always up with him or it is cracking with him and da da da da da da, and then we see each other, we shaking hands or we taking a picture or a photo.
If I say it's up, it's really that you feel me. But I got that side of me. I'll come to you and talk like a man and get an understanding, you know what I'm saying. If it ain't no bloodshed behind, or if it ain't nothing seious, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, I feel like the rap shit sometimes like it turns. It starts with something like extremely weird and petty, and then sometimes it just gets serious quick like it's like it goes from like some weird internet ship someone's on
Instagram live saying some passive aggressive generation and different. Yeah, it's generations different. Trump is bad. The fucker just ready to go off the bridge that didn't give him on. Yeah, it's it's it's like it's unfortunate too, man, because it's like I just see this ship too much. I'm like, gotta be a nigga like me. You gotta have this head in his head. Yeah, I got two heads on myselves.
What do you mean by that? Two heads on myselves? Yeah, this right here, I could be this way right here. I can be this way right here because I've heard the music. It feels like, you know, you got you got some pretty aggressives. Yeah, how was your Did you have a relationship with Vonn before he passed? Yeah? Yeah, n. Me and Vonn used to always be in the inbox, tweaking with each other, kicking any shit like that. Me and Bro supposed to get the record together, but blood
was getting hot. He was doing that, he for sure needed to do it, and I was doing what the fuck I needed to do, you know, trying to figure my shit out. But yeah, hell yeah, blow. It was a cool last Dawn nigga for sure. For people who don't know what what part of Chicago are you from, I'm from like the southwest side, sixty third California. The kids, that's across the western How far is that from? Because everyone knows Old Block they got to it's on that GTA now, So like like I'm on my hood is
from sixty first to sixty seven California, the kids. So like you be seeing the fans tweaking under my shat, like, ah, is they from sixty third? How he doing the song with with dirt? Like I'm from sixty third, but I'm from sixty third off the other side of Chicago. They on the east side. I'm on the southwest side. Gotcha
you feel what I'm saying. So all I gotta do is get on sixty third in California and ride straight down to the east side and being Old Block, you feel me, It's just like a straight shot down, straight shot, like fifteen minutes, twenty minutes. Do you feel like for you obviously you know having because I saw the OTF logo on the back of your track track Listen, are
you like officially an OTF artist? You know? You know, you know, Dirk, that's my mentor you feel So it's just like, really, blood was just trying to get behind me on some anything I can do to help anything I could do to help whatever you need you need to do, like, I'm behind you one hundred percent. You know what I'm saying. So we partner it up a lot of you know, what is some of the game that you know? You know, I think some people forget
how long Dirk's been at this blood. I always tell me, like Steak consistent, like stay in the studio, whatever you gotta do, go do that ship and then come back to the studio. Steak assisted, it's a new artist here a day out. You feel what I'm saying. I can't let them forget about you, you know, Yeah, always be different. Don't never do these niggas doing? Do you be different? Yeah?
That's crazy? You know. I feel like he's right. I mean, I think Dirk's you went through a couple of eras of music and a couple of eras in his career where he was like on Deft Jam, they were trying, took real live years of experiencing this ship on a lot of levels. For sure. Let's talk about Chicago hip hop. Who would you put on the Mount Rushmore of Chicago rap? That's four people we gotta put four people, gotta put myself though, No, you gotta excluding yourself. Exclude myself. Okay,
we're gonna put Keith. Okay, we're gonna put Juice, Chance to rapper, Smart and Dirk. No, Kanye Kanye cool, but I can't put Kanye up there. You put Kanye over like that's that's that you put Chance over Kanye? Yeah, like Chance. I feel like it's our era Kanye. That's fair, you know what I'm saying, Kanye West, that's y'all era my mama. And did you them You ain't finna catch me riding through the city off. No, Yeah, that's feeling gonna lot. But I funck with yr music as a person.
We both them and the most shit, like you know what I'm saying, But like, what do you think that is? Like in Chicago, there's such a dynamic range of artists that are like you got the chances, you got like the vic Menses, the Kanye's, the Commons, and then on the other side you got the Chief Keeps, the Dirks,
guys like yourself. Like it's like either like super artsy very like you know, heavily like art involved rap, and then there's like the hardcore gangster ship like but but is it because they grew up in different areas or I don't really know the history behind like all those all those people like cuts them in and like all them, Like I don't I can't even tell you the street common grew up on for real, Like I don't really know. You ever listen to Coming probably when Pops with somebody
was listening to him Chicago Legends. Twister too, Yeah, Twister for so I went to the gun range with Twisted and ship. Twist took you to the gun range. Yeah, Twist took me to the gun range. Me and a lot of my homies. We were shooting guns and ship he was showing us all exclusive as gun he got all type of big crazy Yes, he's like training people like how to get their gun perman, and yeah that's what he that's he that's what he gonna do with me. That's firing to give my shout out to Twister. Twist
is a great guy. How did he just reach out to you? How do that? How did that end up happened? I think we supposed to been doing the song or some ship and then you know he was just on some regular ship. Like it's beyond the song type ship like this is beial you know on some big broler bro shit. You know he's a good dude for sure. Shout out to say he's a fucking legend. Shout out to Chicago man on Fuck my Cousin. You were saying,
if you don't like the fucking OPS posts? Uh, if you like if you like the OPS post, So, let me ask you this, right hypothetically speaking, you have like a relative that's close to you and we're talking like in this song from what I gathered, if you're cool with my ops or if I'm cool with you, that means that you can't you can't be fucking with the ops. Is that fair? Yeah? Yeah, Like if I'm fucking with too and you fucking with my OPS shit, you might
backdope me. You might get me smoked, you might set me up rob me. I don't know. So if you're cool with somebody, if you cool with somebody that's trying to kill me or so, let me ask you this, right, So, like hypothetically speaking, like you will you inherit someone's beef that you're fucking with or would you just kind of be like, I ain't beefing with him, but I'm not fucking with him. No, that's the type of thing I am. I ain't beefing with him, but I'm not fucking with him.
That's fair what I'm saying. I play both sides or be in the middle, because I know being in the middle to lead to a lot of other shit. Niggas. Don't be righteous, nigga, really be like I'm in the middle, or really be over there plotting to come get your ass. Feel myself, I don't trust none of that shit. If you fuck with them, fuck with them't fuck with you.
Because I think some people saw I think Richard the Kid had dinner with uh with Dirk, But Richard Kid has an album with a young boy, so a lot of people are like, what the fuck is going on here? Right right? I feel like like the young boy smirk shit like this, it's it's happening. But I feel like a lot of artists on real time and if things just throwing theyself, you a bitch ass goofy as the lame ass nigga. If you just hop out that throwing yourself with somebody beef, you don't really got in a
relationship with the nigga. You ain't really nothing. You just Dick ride. It's almost like it's like some clop chasing ship low key here, like like that's just Dick riding game. If you hop, then another motherfucker beef down. Got nothing to do with you. I agree, I just I agree.
I agree with you. Yeah for sure. I think like at the end of the day, like it's like I think that that Dirk uh young boy thing is like one of those things that like to me, felt like some rap shit and it was like, okay, yeah, obviously no, see I knew it want no rap shit. Folks like you gotta understand, like I know niggas around Dirk, I know personally, like we've been locked in for years since way before this ship. You feel what I'm saying, Like I was even fucking with a fewer NBA and all
lay homies over there. I feel what I'm saying, like, but smirking them is from my city. I've been locked in with them for a long long time, like it's real live love with them like that. You feel what I'm saying, But I'm not out here. Oh fuck, young boy. He right, You're not jumping out and do that. That's what I means. I think that's but I think that's important.
That ain't meause I think some people would do that, and I know how they'll be there to see me on the song with smirking all the fans like, oh you you into a young Boy, Yeah, which is fucking I think a lot of this ship too, is like fans pushed that ship, dude, Yeah, they pushed that ship. I think like if you think of what's going on with Kodak and Young Boy right now, it feels like it's all fans. The fans created some bullshit between two
artists that should have no problems. They're not from the same section, they're from fucking the same state. It's just some fan ship that turns into some real ship or you know, some internet ship, I guess. But about some questions about Rich, the kids sitting in the room and ship like that, I don't really got no comment on it if you want them niggas, that's just really in
the middle and don't got none. Yeah. I think like Rich is obviously somebody who was It was like a big dinner with a lot of people and it's like he's he's a businessman. We don't get no fuck in that environment. And you right here fucking with the ops or you into a phone numb was that it's up with you. You feel what I'm saying. So Phont was in the denner with him, so I know they ain't feeling no type of threat or he want he he couldn't have been on shit to you know, to be
sitting there. So kid, you know when you think of like some of your peers and like how they've evolved musically, right, think of Dirk, Like Dirk's evolved musically and like a level that's like crazy. Like you know, if you heard some shit from nine years ago and you heard some shit today, it's like it's like night and day. Like you know what I mean, It's Pen's gone crazier, The record's gone crazier. What are you doing, like just on the artist's side to like push yourself when you're in
the studio, are you fucking working with new producers? Like how's your writing process? Are you taking things you learn from other artists and applying it to your craft, Like just in terms of just improving the craft of like your records and just as an artist as an MC, like what are the things that you're trying to always improve? I feel like I'm always trying to improve, like storytelling, like getting my words out better, like putting it together.
This happened is and that happen? Why this happened? Like I'm that creative trying to put the songs together like that for people to really understand, you know what I'm saying and not just in my rap, just like talking about this thing and then go all the way to this subject and that like niggas be jumping around and sure, storytelling is important. Man. What's some of your favorite like storytelling records as a fan? Because there were some great ones.
M crazy story about King one? Mm hmm. What else I could say? One of my records called Survive M who else? This is storytelling? Shit? Oh? I think speaking because I think, Okay, what was that song he made back then? I can't even remember the song, but I think I sucked it on that storytelling. There's a lot of more fuckers. I just can't really think of talking. You gotta listen as a jay Zon which one? I think, Yeah, where he got one? Bro and meet me one? Shout
out there's a jay Z song. The next time you get a chance, there's a jay Z record. He want to be Jay Z. It's called Meet the Parents. Just listening to that record, But folks, I got a record called Meet the Parents with another artist. So the song is about jay Z's rapping, uh, from the perspective of three different people. A kid dies, he gets shot, right, so he's rapping from the perspective of that kid's he gets killed by his dad. His dad doesn't know it's
his kid. He's rapping from the perspective of the dad, and its rapping from the perspective of the mom. It's fucking crazy. But like every time you listen to it, you'll hear like a new Like it's almost like a Quentin Tarantino movie. But on record. My favorite storytelling record ever. My suggestion just a little you know, an old head suggestion, jay Z meet the Parents. That a step of storyteller. Yeh, smoke you got more weed? No, there's definitely that t shirts.
I can get you a pre roll though, grab a pre roll out of there. No, no, don't smoke. Smoke. Oh, I mean this is a this is a raw paper. It's it's good for you. I mean, you only smoke the grabble leaf. The thing about the leaf is like it's such a process, like you pull this fucking thing
out of a bag of two seconds. Yeah. I was in the studio the other day with the Tory Lanes and every time he needed to roll something new and just seeing him pull this fucking leaf out, and I'm just like, they really stuff a whole ass leaf in a bag and then you just find your the part you like. And then I'm gonna tell you this, like, I don't have any rolling uh talents, and I can only imagine the grabble leaf looks like the hardest thing
to roll. Nay, that's absolutely easy. See, That's why I like the bro to have amount of weeds you got, you got some well, yeah, because it's a fucking leaf. You could just cut what your needs, cut what you did you have? You always smoked grabber leaves, Yeah, No, I was. I hear my room with backwoods and I was smoking hill the backwoods. I can't fuck with the backwards. My rooms with the leafs, and I was smoking the leaves. It's just you're never smoking papers though. No, I'll never
smoked peer. You know. If you ever, probably when I was a young nigga, smoking leaves off the tree and smoke goofy ship all the big like the big big smokers, Wiz Burner. They only smoke papers, you fucking Burner. That's because they probably getting old and shit, they don't want to fuck up their body right now. It's an old guys ship. Old guys. Shit, they getting old and they ain't trying to be around his bit losing their breath. All it's good for you, though, I mean, I don't
know if it's good for you. Let's say I get old. Don't start smoking papers when I get older than the thirty Do they do the uh splits in Chicago where you get the tobacco and you put everybody smoked backwoods. Everyone's on backwards? Yeah? Yo uh. In terms of shout out to the Bulls, the Bulls had a little Are you like a basketball fan? I'm a basketball fan, but I ain't gonna lie with Warriors fan. Stephan Curry and Thompson my favorite two players. Disgusting, I know, but I
go to the Bulls game. I support the Bulls and they've only been good for like six years the Warriors. It don't matter though. Like I was, I really got hooked to basketball in jail. I wasn't no basketball watching that nigga is I was in jail on some boys when the Warriors were good, and really got hooked to the Warriors because they was going so crazy. I got the betting on the ass and jail and the thing. Damn. Yeah,
this guy from Chicago, he's a Warriors fan. Hey, yeah, shout out the Bulls though you know that's home team. You got Alex Caruso, you got. I don't know nobody on the Bulls. I knew only Nigga I was fucking with. From the Bulls is one Dale Carter. But he traded from he got traded. Yeah, he got traded. I think he's on the Magic now. I told my boy, he said, have stayed at the Bulls. Don't think he was up to him. He got traded. You ain't got traded. No, I don't know he's on the He's on the Magic now.
He's saying he was weak brod. No, I'm saying, no. Cardida. How often do you go home? M Like it's it's early on. I just moved to l A, so it was really like I'd be home six ship. I want to go chill phone them, I want to go do other ship fly out just in the morning to be like, come on, we're able to bring your family with you. Yeah, that's important. Got your mama out of there, that's super important. Man. Well my mama she ain't come yet. She hasn't come yet.
She'd be saying on the leavest cargo. Get her out of there. Man, she got my grandma, she got to take care. Get both of them out of there. I'll be telling them. She says, she's scared to ride the plane. What you got to send her a sprinter or something. Yeah, she she she talk low right now, though, but she definitely gonna come out here. I'm a maker. Is she
like out of the area least? Yeah, a different area. Yeah. Yeah, you're like because for people who don't know, like obviously, Chicago's a very segregated city, it's probably one of the more heavier, like segregated cities in the country. Like there's would you say so in terms of just like this area is this area? Because I had Emon Shepherd on it he was talking about just how segregated it is. I think. I mean, I've been to a lot. I don't know. I just I'm from the Rack for real,
and I've been everyone in the Rack. You know, it's probably been a lot of a couple of cities I ain't been to in Illinois, but like, for the most part, I feel like I see black people everywhere. Right Literally, I don't give an If I'm in this little ass town, I'm gonna see at least one black person. No for sure, for sure, for sure, but for the most part, it probably is segregated because I go somewhere and I see none but Mexicans over here. Then I go so, I
see number of white people over here. Then you go over here number of black people. Probably a couple of Mexicans stay on the block, you know, Like I heard they have decent Mexican food in Chicago because there's a big there's a big I'm from a Meskan like area. They don't have the best. Relax. You're in California. Tacos whack and say, where did you go? I went to Pink Taco. I went to motherfucker's your fucking problem. Look look, look, Pink Taco's white people tacos. Listen, let me tell you.
I went to no that one Mexican food. Man, you have to I went to a couple sponsible they hear tacos. Was it a truck? Was it a truck. I did the truck before too, but that it wasn't only the truck though, you have to go to Leo's Taco truck. Leo's Taco truck. I don't like eating at the trucks. I feel like I'll be getting sick. Or maybe it's just a man things. It's a mind things like I getting sick. You can't bring up Pink Taco though that ship was so weak, got awful. But Pink Taco is
fucking white. It's a white person owned establishment. When I first got down the first time me ever coming to LA when I got signed to one in twenty nineteen, I'm trying to find have the ship to eat. I can't find it now. Since since then, I've been out here a hundred times, and I no, no, no, no, I got to get you round, no whole piece of got the good wings. That's it. Like I don't really, y'all look drive through like all you gotta tap in, man, Yeah, I got are you in the valley? You're like over
this way? Yeah, there's great. Come on, literally just drive around North Hollywood and just chef grizzlies. No, I don't know what that is. Some black people chef Grizzlies fire Macaroni. I'm not mad at that. I like macaroni black people since a lot of people I love so far? Do you ever have conkor? And I like that. When I said black who was on the album? I saw herbo Vezzo, Derris her vel PG, little Dirt, Freddo Bang shouts Alfredo. He's a great guy. Yeah, boy, very very nice dude. Man.
What's your favorite song on the album? All all of them? Heah, yeah, all of them. I feel like I overdid this one. Ain't gonna. I feel like this one of the hardest. I really brought that back for they the PEG. It's the real Do you feel like the fans are I feel like they're satisfied? I was saying, are they giving you that same feedback? They giving me that feedback? You we ain't crazy. It's one of the best albums. We want some old thinking about doing the deluxe. Yeah, though,
you gotta do the deluxe. I feel like it's kind of the thing to do. I don't know, yeah, because you got you have to feel like I'm gonna just go gost real quick and then come back and drop an album. I was gonna say, when you do deluxe. Usually it's like you have three or four songs that you wanted to put on the album, didn't make the album, and it's easy to just throw them on it. Do you have those records of mind? I got a hundred songs that didn't make the album that I wish would
have made the album. It's crazy because so many artists have that right where they have all these records that will never fucking hear you know what I'm saying? What do you want? Like like, when you cut a record, do you pretty much know within like a day whether or not it's like worth releasing. Yeah, I know right then and there, like yeah this one once, Yeah, Well
I see in the studio and you'll know otherwise. Do you kind of look at like the recording process, because if you're recording that much, you know a lot of this shit ain't gonna come out. It's kind of like working out, like the way somebody will go practice. If it don't come out with this, it's gonna come out with that, you know. I feel like everythings gonna get used. This is timing. I make a lot of type of different music just tim You're talking earlier about Juice World
Juice World. Obviously one of them ones gone too soon? Uh. You first thing to take me to the chain Smoker's house. You went to the chain smoker's crib. Yeah, they were spraying me with water while I was sleep. I woke up many tweaking boy fuck is all doing what's that? What's that? First of all, tell me this story. How did you end up with Juice Roll going to the chain Smoker's house? Because I was in a mystic. I
was like label shopping and ship like that. They like had a lot of deals on the table and ship and I went to link over my boy g money and busying them because they were changing Stammy and ship, and they flew me to La and I I went to they crib and shit, I was out there for them with them for a couple of days and shit and me and Juice was chilling. Juice took me to the studio Young Thug and then we left the studio
with Young Thug and Tank God. Then we went to the chain Smoker's crib and Bro we got there, they were sitting up in that motherfuckers just chopping it up and Ship talking about go play lads and tag it all type of shit. They was tweaking. I fell asleep, knocked out in that bitch. They were spreading waters while I sleep. I wake up, man, y'all, that was tweaking. Boy, yall, white boys better smack the shit out there. Yeah, white
humors different. Man, You hang out with enough white people, you get immune to some interesting human No, but I love white guys, you know what I'm saying. Fun with him. I got a couple of white friends, coped Mexican friends. Just a couples all you need. How would so you would for a pretty tight Yeah? Yeah, we was good. We was getting tight. I ain't gonna lie like, you know, I don't want to need he wake up and be like, come on, let's go ride the dirt bike. So let's
go play the Xbox folks. Was like he was grown, but he was like always on some activity kids. Sholk. Yeah he was young man, That's what people forget. Like he was such a prolific artist, but he was barely got to live a lot of his life, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, he was on some young kids too. Though. When you see, I would say, when you see a guy like Bibby who was able to like successfully transition
from being an amazing artist into big CEO ship. You know what I'm saying is that is that something that inspires you that you kind of inspire to try to get to eventually, like where you can sign artists, you can kind of be that. Yeah, I want to get
to that point. Really, I want to wrap get real, real, real, real, real rich to that point where I can just really like sit back and like spend time my kids, spend time with my family and real real, live, live life without and then let other people put out out your Yeah, like I want to sit on my ass and EM's coming in. You feel that's that's the way to go. Man, are you doing anything like that, like in terms of like the money you're making or you're reinvesting in it,
or like yeah, for sure, what are you doing? It ain't no real live like crazy shit, crazy shit. It's just something mining right now. That's good. So stay out that crypto man, that cryptos, they're full of ship. With the crypto. You're gonna up like the guy on the couch over there, he put all his money in crypto. Look at him. You're straight. No, you're not not off the how much money you got left out of that fucking money you put in your fucking crypto. You got
about ten cents left. That's what you got. That ship crash. Come on, come on, take this three hundred k and come drop and your ship man one percent back Listen, Uh, your project is out right now for sure. Go run that ship up anymore. Yeah, I'd have been on Trens Baby team right now. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know the last couple
of Carters. It was not crazy, but the last one. I love this Carter three now though he was one of the I want them, dude, you got this? Were you like? Let me ask you this because you're kind of like that age bracket. Okay, I didn't know, you know, the whole I was influent because I feel like nowadays, like really her auto to him from like Wayne. Really, nowadays, the generation of young rappers coming up, I feel like we're more influenced by like Chief Keef or Future or Thug.
I'm I'm influenced by blooding them too, you know, but like Wayne before Blood Yeah free Why so there it is. Man, appreciate you pulling up? Yeah already know, Man, Go get the album leg cave Fire, get a drop camera. What right? I know what yourself? Let me know you're ready? Ate? What up is a little some of the trench Baby.
