But like, why is it important for you to keep your feet on, like your foot on the neck of the game right now? Because I feel like that's just kind of the way

that the game is now. You got to kind of keep like you just gotta people fans have such a short attention span, you know what I'm saying like you gotta keep dropping. Yeah, Like fans are right man, Like if I don't drop a song in a month, like man, you following off that sh they didn't really right, tim but na Like just like I say, like dropping projects back to back and you learn like what works and what doesn't, like consistency. They love consistency, So I'm trying

to be consistent. It's possible. Like most of the videos from this project I shot in the week, Like I shot seven videos in one week. Shit, that's a lot of videos. I mean, how many years out right now? Three or four? I feel like I just saw. I mean there's at least three, there's at least three. Like there's eight already from just the project all together that

are already out seven, six or seventy. That's crazy. So what if you you say you learned every time you drop a project you learned from the last time you drop. What have you learned so far that you apply to this new ship? Oh? like tucked in jail like was it was it? Was it contraband or did they know you had it? How do you get a phone into jail? God, the guard, so you just chip the guard off, so to make sure it's like like you know, not somebody. You know, you've seen some crazy shit in the movie. I'm not doing those Like you've got a girl who puts shoves it up her eyes. They got people, But I wouldn't never that type of putting nobody else like was it

a small phone. Oh, I never been the type of I never had been a type like my only people see me with my girl, my mom, So I'm not about to put them in risk of course. Of course, Yeah, it ain't worked. All that's crazy though, because because like I know, being in jail is like you know, I got a lot of family members that are in prison and they live for you know, especially if you're for a long time. But just the just the letter makes

their whole month, you know what I'm saying. So what you have to do is you'll probably have to, like, for one, you gotta wait till everybody go to sleep, like late course in the morning. Then you gotta like either put a blanket up or something around the bathroom. You gotta cut off the bathroom or like put a

trash can up or something car like gunline. So if anybody come back there, now the ain't the wrong. So if you yell out gunline, everybody knows, like, yo, don't drag it off. Brother went out, Yeah, damn, that's crazy. And did you ever accidentally walk in this someone's gunlne

situation because you didn't hear them? What about you? Like the opposite were like someone like like on me, like yo, man over here trying to handle my ship, very discreet with min Like I was the type like I always everybody go to child and you got the phone in there, get the internet porn always everybody go to lunch. Or I used to violate a little bit, like so I take my whole bump and I wrapped the whole tent up, oh ship, so you just have a whole like a fork.

So when they come in, just put both sides of

That's the longest you were locked up for and a half two and a half years. And during that time, give us the timeline of that and where you were in your career and how like when you got locked up, were you taking music serious at the time? Not really, but we was the hottest in

Baton Rouge well really like Louise Land. Know, so you got locked up being like that dude in your city. And did it take you getting locked up to like realize like I need to take this ship more serious? It helped? Yeah, definitely, I have. I used had, Like one time I had somebody come to jail and get on their knees and bade me to wrap ship the weird like somebody who was locked up with you. I hate the man got on his knees in front of me. It was like, please wrap for me. I mean in jail.

That's probably the best case scenario of someone getting on their knees. I mean, God blessed. But no, did you wrap or were you like fam you're fucking weirdo. I wasn't never the type like for me to wrap. Be in a good mood and like sometimes they have some siphers and stuff and you jump in. No, Nah, I just you know what I'm saying. Would you like, uh, like how much when you got out of jail, did you have like tons of notebooks full of your lyrics?

I got a bunch of what I'm saying to do because I'm in a whole different Like I'm in a whole different like space with my music. You know what I'm saying. Yeah, of course the content's gotta change. Your life has changed, You're not in that space anymore. Like, yeah, that's what some people problem is. Like, it's just some some people come home and they want to make jail music. You feel me, it's like nobody. I mean, it's cool, but it's also like you gotta you know, you also

gotta evolve. I feel like it's just the same way with people. Like some artists feel like or I'm gonna make it just R and B project. I'm gonna just make a wrap project. I'm gonna make it a saying. You know what I'm saying, Like, that's whut each of my projects. You're gonna get everything, Like yeah, for sure, I don't want to just you know what I'm saying. As soon as you do that, it's like I ain't fucking with that, you know what I'm saying. So next

I told him about like I'm not gonna do that. Yeah, I just stayed at the door, not like but I really like it to pull up with you. You know what I'm saying. I have been around it, like in jail. Like, but I'm real strict in my religious beliefs. Like what are your religious beliefs? I believe in God, And is it so you're you consider yourself Christian Baptist. I just believe in I used to be Baptist, but I believe in God. So no Bible, like, no caper like it's

you know what I respect. It's just simple as that. Like it's just like you believe in a higher power. Yeah, like because when you get into okay, which religion of you and it gets you you get a headache just thinking about that. I also think too that a lot of people should I'm personally like I am atheist, but I feel like I really could like see it on you.

I really believe in like like if you told me what's more real, aliens or you know, heavens in the sky, I'm fucking running with the aliens all day, you know

what I'm saying. But like, personally, but you had a right because like it's like I want to believe in something that I can see and I can I want to believe in things that make sense, and I feel and I feel like, but I feel the history of our world, religion has been the biggest divider and has caused all the wars and everybody, and it's man made a lot of these religions, they're all written written believe

in Man. So I respect that you cannot believe. If you don't believe everything a human says, you cannot believe about I think that means that you're you're agnostic technically, you believe in a higher power, you just don't identify I say, God, But what is it? So wait, so we're the Muslims in your jail? Was it like? Was it low key? Like if you were like a part of that crew. Everyone had each other's back, like like like and what were you locked up in in

in Louisiana? Yeah, okay, you cause you don't go out to state unless you feed them, right right right right, But well I did do to some camps out of statel It's really illegally, but I stay fund up down. But yeah, like it some people like they will say their muss them and they're you know, I don't know that. You know that's crazy shout. I mean, like I said, man, I respect everyone's viewpoints. I just have my own. Yeah,

he like he invited me to. I went in like just to cause I'd have been around it, but I haven't been an actual one. So it was like, I like the experience, you feel me, So it was like a good experience and stuff. Yeah, of course that's the way I am. But no, he don't. He's not about to try to make you be something. You know what I'm saying. It's just people people like gravitates. His energy got he gotta be around him is a good like we. I don't know if you remember the moment where he

told the interviews to stop touching him. That was me and DJ Head's interview, and it was the most intense, like twenty minutes of our life. And then after the interview it went super viral, obviously, and we were like, what the fuck just happened because he just got well, he just got out of jail like six months earlier.

But but I'm like, he let his guard down. After the interview finished and we talked for like an hour, he played U his album and he was like, he was like, shit, man, if I had known y'all were like, I wish I would have known y'all, we would have had a much better interview because I fuck with y'all because I'm like that with interviews too. It's like I come like I'm always gonna be kind of his of people, like, but when you make me feel comfortable, okay, I can

laugh with you. I can, I could. It's gonna be a good interview. Well, plus it's also on you know, I think too, like the testing shit either, though I didn't. The biggest pet peeve is when you're talking to me and you like, yo fan is like no, no, I feel it, like like it's just like you have to touch her, okay, Paul Nah. Right now, it's like everyone's getting an interview. So I saw fred o'bang was on IG Live with everybody and you getting the same questions, and then half of these

motherfuckers don't know what they're talking about. They're just asking you generic ship like somebody asking me, Oh, somebody asked me some dumb ass ship, like so when of the last time you and g made a song? Do y'all like do y'all plan on getting in the studio again, and he you know, he's that that should have went virals. What a fucking oh my god. Some people just being then, like some of them like try to make it seem like you need them, Like I'm the type of person

Do you feel like that responsibility to kind of like bring his people along with you, make sure his people are straight, because you know he's not along, he's not along with you to enjoy the ride because right now you're at the biggest you've ever been. relationship with the people I had a relationship with. I ain't know y'all know, right, right, But what about his kid? You got a relationship with this kid? Yeah, like I got I got somewhat relationship with all the kids, but the other besides his son, it'd be harder to to the other one, the other baby mamas. I just got to like realization of like last week, like I'm just not with it. Do you feel like that with a lot of people in your life, because I feel like once you get lately, not like lately like with just quarantine, I've been doing like some really

like inter finding my more of finding myself. Like it's just like I gotta stop giving so much of myself to people like people like me. I was I was talking about producer like people like us. Everybody just around here looking stupid. Everyone's standing around two thousand dollars sections like I'm not like
