Bulet Cavs Show special guest. My friend yg is here a lot of jewelry. Brother, Oh no, it's light work. You know what I'm saying. It's something like, well, first of all, man, congrats, you've just been killing it on all fronts. I appreciate the you know, just the enterprises you're building, uh four hundred flowers shoes. The clothing line is everywhere, Like every time I go to damn Zoomies, you're like right in the front window and ship. You

know what I'm saying, Like, just man, it's been a minute. Yeah, bro, appreciate it. Doug, we did some zoom shit. I feel like over the pandemic zoom ain't rihal of me. That shit is whack. It's been a few years since we sat down though. Man, So it's good to see you. Let's just get let's just get this ship out of the way. What's up, bro? The rams Niners thing. I've historically known you to be a forty nine er fan. Me and you have had verbal arguments about the forty

nine ers because I'm a cardinal fan. Yep. These are on YouTube somewhere on my channel. You've probably just I just realized we have like twelve interviews over the years. So now you're a RAMS fan. I've been around fan first. Okay, so you've been knowing me for my I met your life, my older my teenage adult life. You didn't know me since I was like my youth. Correct you feel me. I grew up a RAMS fan. My father is a RAMS fan. I started doing my music ship moving around,

going to the Bay. We knew some people that was from LA that played on the Niners, that was inviting us to the games. We started going to the games. Young motherfuckers who don't got a team in LA. We're going to the Niner games like these are our first NFL games. So we like, fuck we fucking with the Niners. Cool for show Niner game. So we was fucking with the Niners and we start hanging with Kaepernick and Frank

Gore's and Michael Krabtrees and all of them. Of the Sean Golsen is doing and it brought us up there like that boom, we get in. We in with them. I'm the type of dude, you feel me. I'll support the teams are the people that I know. Like so if I got a relationship with like Russell Westbrook and the Thunder used to Yeah, for sure, yes, them niggas is from the city, so I'm supporting that. So that's how I got into the Niners ship. But I was a Rams fan first feel me since a kid like

real football fan. Team not know oh, because I know this person. I know this person, you feel me. It was Rams and fucking Chicago Bulls, Michael Jordan, you feel me. That's how it all started. So and then I had to cut the Niners off when they did the whole Kaepernick shit. So I honestly don't see how people is still supporting the Niners organization after the whole Kaepernick situation happened. So I'm proud and I'm glad to say fuck the

forty nine ers. I've been saying fuck the forty nine ers when that whole shit happened, and they edited your song on that exactly. So you want to go and you want to bring up the past like you know everything, but you're leaving ship out. Listen because I don't understand how you forgot about Kaepernick. Maybe that your black, the Rams for black people, he took a knee. How the fuck am I supposed to fuck with the Niners after

they kicked them off. The team cut him out the n I don't fuck with them, bro, Well that's fair, he is so so so. Now you know, I'm just a petty fan of the Cardinals who's mad that y'all fucking smoked us and got us the fuck up out of here for the year. Well, I'm just a real nigga. Well, shout out to the Rams man, Hell Rams Gang. Now, who's being Rams Gang? Bro? Okay, you can come correct, don't come at all? All right, Well listen, are you

putting a wager on the game at all? Because I feel like you and post Malone had a bet a couple of years ago. Yes, yes, yes, yes I did, and I'm with them. I'm taking all bets like whoever want to smoke, I'm with it. So you are opened, just opening it on all bets. Yeah, like just a

head up bed like you feel me. I'm not doing none of the little weird shit like oh, y'all got to win by a field goal or y'all gotta you feel me like, I'm not doing none of that head up old bet, don't go fuck how we w it could be a fucking safety be by one point like, you know what I'm saying. Do you already have your Super Bowl tickets locked down? Yeah? My ship locked down? How much can you? I mean, I don't know if you get them for free at this point, because you

are YGM assuming you don't pay for these tickets. But these tickets are fucking expensive. I don't like talking about about financials. Someone I know who's got season tickets, their tickets for the Super Bowl going for thirty nine thousand apiece. Yeah, that shit is crazy. The sweet that I be in going for seven hundred thousand Jesus, just for the one game. That's crazy. And I'm in there and you're in there. I'm in there. That's what's up, yo. This new record

Scared Money, incredible record I loved. I mean I think that you know, you played a lot of the album for me a little while ago and it sounded incredible. But the video is crazy. I just saw the video looks like you guys, I mean that ship. What was that like a four or five day shoot? So many different scenes, so many different the Giant Great Challenge, like you know, that shit was like a fucking it was

a three day shoot. But then we were shooting it the song was supposed to be come out, but doing a video shoot, a lot of the staff and people called COVID. I had caught COVID, so we had to push the son back the video shoot, all that type of ship. Had to spend all this extra money to get this ship because of COVID. But we finally got it done. Famity record is out now. Yeah. I feel like it's like one of them ones, you know. I

feel like it feels like a big bang. It feels like you know it's gonna, it's gonna, it's gonna do that kind of like when you first cut the record. Did you feel that way? Yes? I did. I cut the record and I told my people, I'm like, bro, this is my first single, and my people was like, bro, it's too early. I said, no, my nigga, I know when I got a record like You Feel Me? Was J Cole like an easy call to make, Like what you mean like like you just hit you hit him directly?

Does a label like you know? Is it a label thing? Or I hate him? Hate you feel Me? I had his number because I had bumped into him during COVID You Feel Me. He was doing a commercial for his shoes and I was in production for my shoes, so he came and he saw my whole program with my shoes and shit. Then we was just talking about fatherhood

and all this I connected with. But you know, I uh knew J Cole for a minute, and shit, he brought me on his tour like twenty fifteen, so you feel me he been supporting, you know what I'm saying my whole shit, So uh you feel me to call with and like like, I don't like reaching out to people that I don't know history with them, Like no, it's anything with to try to do some music with, but that shit be weird, like you know what I'm saying.

So yeah, the J Cole shit was like more on like organic side, Like you know, no for sure with this album? Is there any You and I have talked about some of your albums that you just kind of put out just to get through your contract. Those weren't albums,

those projects, right I put out. I'm claiming two of my albums as real albums, and that's my crazy life and it's still brazy, which a lot of people would say obviously your two best albums, but because I treated them as albums when I was exactly, And I feel like you were saying that you're you're having the same approach with this new body of work that's coming. Correct. I'm having the same approach with everything I do here

on out, because I'm in that space. I own all my shit, like you feel me, I'm moving like it's it's all on me. It's my time. I ain't got no bad blood. But like I ain't mad, I ain't I don't feel the type of way. It's just like, all right, it's trying to get busy, you know what I'm saying. Like you got through the initial contract. Yeah, I did my big as a new artist, right, that's like kind of what usually happens, Like yeah, but I should have been I could have been out my contract

way before. Like it's like, but you know what I'm saying, Like I guess like everybody around me, we were still learning and shit, and then my lawyers was saying some shit and had me thinking this was the only way all this type of shit, So you know, or the game got the best of me for that time. Well, what I like, too is your transparency, because I feel like if more artists are transparent about maybe some of the shitty situations that they're in it, it will help.

Like you know, I feel like I feel like it was it the lebron shit you were on the HBO shit. Shit it was No, that was Draymond Green. But you guys were talking about like, you know how thus far you haven't got any worldy money from your from your catalog because your old deal. And I think that's very important for a new artists to see because, like you know, it's a predatory business for a new artist who comes in the game and signs. You come in the game,

you've you from the streets. You ain't got no business people around you who you know what I'm saying, help you push you right there, you get that big advance and you're like, yo, this has changed my life this amount of money. I didn't even get a big advance. That's crazy. It ain't changed my life because that was what that was like originally like two thousand and nine.

Oh no, because that was before Tutor and Booted. No, that was the first single right Tutor Booo was out on some my space ship and then when I got signed, they brought it over to that jam. No, it wasn't even like fucking with the song the song just was it kept moving in the streets and the clubs, and then they was forced. You should one of six start planning. That's what you know what I'm saying, That's what was the game changer. I remember the first the first time

we uh not the first time I met you. You did like a high school show in Vegas. But the first time we really kicked it. You were on that that tour with with Bobby Brackens and tie Oh and you guys performed at L a X in Vegas. That was I remember that. And at the time, I think Bobby Brackens and you like like you, you and Bobby Brackens were like co headlining, which is like a crazy and ty was like an unknown artist, super unknown bro.

That's like that was the first time I ever met Tye and you were like, no, this is the dude who did everything this he's on the hook. This is you know, I don't think All Star was out yet, Like that's how long ago that that shit is crazy right crazy? And now you know it's why twenty six million records later, you just put the plack up with

twenty six million sold. Yeah, that's light though. That ain't even like that's amazing though, man, supposed to be like one hundred million, you know what I'm saying, that's still that's still nothing. The twenty six million is that's a career for sure. And I feel like you just kind of hitting your you know, just getting started, bro one

hundred percent. Man, talk to me about the label because you've had so many different variations of the roster, right obviously I think a Kamaia and RJ and that era of the label. And then I remember right before the pandemic, Uh, you had pulled up and with day Sulon, who had by the way she could sing, she got some like Lauren Hill type shit. That's like crazy, where's the label at now? Like as far as just like who signed, is that like a priority for you to start to

still still put artists out? Yeah, that's the priority for me. I still got day Sulon and a D three song, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, So you feel me like we have to plan like right when COVID hit, like we had a whole bunch of shit planned out, but then COVID hit, So you know, like our side

of the map during COVID was really shut down, super shutdown. Yeah, So I told the artists, I'm like, look, man, y'all just gonna have to, like, like we all in the same situation right now, we're gonna thug it out once all this ship, you know what I'm saying, get back close to normal. We're gonna start getting you know what I'm saying, We're gonna start moving and doing our ship. So, uh, everybody did that. So thanks Salon and D three. You know what I'm saying. They got ship coming soon. Shout

out to them. D three is hard. What is it? Do you have any sort of current relationship with Comeya because I know obviously we've all seen the interviews. You know she's talking about, you know, the situation and all that. Like have you guys were together for so long? I feel like, you know, eventually emotions have to calm down and there has to be you know, is there is there a relationship currently? Yeah? We straight out just seen her and ship. I've seen her a couple of times,

like in the past month. You know what I'm saying, we straight That's good. That is good. Man. Who can you talk about the album because I know a lot of it's pretty much done right, But the album called pray for me, Pray for me, Pray for me. So then that's all I could talk about. And the first single to Scare Money, that's the first record, you know what I'm saying. And it's coming soon. Why that title?

That title that's with the music? Like when I came with that title for me, I was like halfway like there with the album, and I had like a handful of records and i was just sitting on the records and I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, bro, like I wasn't trying to force nothing to trying to come create some shit, to create some ship and try to make it, try to turn it into like like bring it to life. I'm like, no, I need to go listen to these, to the music and let the music like create the title.

You feelish. So I'm listening to the music and then I'm like, bro, it sounded like like like like pray for me, like I need help, Like you know what I'm saying. My life is crazy. Life is crazy. Everybody life the past two years. You know what I'm saying. Everybody been going through crazy shit, you know what I'm saying. So and bro, this was like in like July August or August September when I came with this title and shit, and yeah, it just seemed like bro shit, just it's

just crazy and shit. So well, yeah, that's the title of the album. Bro. What's up? Y'all got to interrupt the Bootleg cap podcast. We have a brand new sponsor, h and I love this sponsor. I was talking with Dom a couple of months ago and we were talking about how you guys are supposed to have that supergroup. Me and you have talked about it before him, Yeah, right, which would have been amazing.

Is there is there any of those records that exist anywhere that you guys cut that never have seen the light of day, Like, I don't think me Dom and Nip got in the studio to start working on that. Like we was having a conversation and we was finna go get a deal for that before we even started working on it. But then me and Nip, I mean Ni was supposed to do like we linked up to do group project probably like two three times, and the

last time no, the last time. The time before the last time was when we did Fuck Donald Trump me and was working on a group project called two of America's Most Wanted and that's where the Fuck Donald Trump record came from. So we got records from that from that time. So so you, you and Nipsey have some

unreleased stuff that's sitting on a hard drive summer. Yeah, we got unreleased stuff, but it ain't it ain't like to a point to where I could like put it out or like it ain't like we was just getting started on working on the project and like we did like like two three songs and Fuck Donald Trump and you Finel Me that was the best song from that batch of songs, and we ended up putting it out.

So at that time, we like when we put our fuck down Trump were like, funk, we eat the project for we already like we made we made the best record, eyes on your head, everybody, Yeah, we made the best. Like we made the best record. It made the biggest statement, man. That was project. Like I remember because it was around that time you were on tour with g Right and y'all did the remix and ye yeah and uh that was like super thick an election season. That shit was crazy.

That ship was a wild time. Man. You shot off of the g Eazy because he you know what I'm saying, he took a stance, you know what I'm saying with us on that. Yeah, and you had Maclamore. You just had like the woke white dudes on the remix. You know what I'm saying. Would you do a part two to that if he runs again in twenty twenty four? No, my bro, nippang he you feel me? So I gotta let that, you know what I'm saying. I gotta let that be that, or maybe just a version called fuck

both of y'all. Fuck both of y'all because Joe Biden's goind of not doing a great job. Oh me, I'm just fucking around, but I'm not trying to get political. But both both both of them are probably not the best choices. My energy drinks here, This is like cocaine and a can. They don't pay for me to drink this shit either, but oh shit, you ever had a you fuck with energy drinks? M It's just like if you have a cargo shorts, some Monster energy tea on,

maybe some DC shoes, some ICP and the walkman. Yeah, anyway, talk about your weed shit. I told Spencer I shot him out of this interview because he's one of my best friends and he's a steaming pile of dog shit. Shout out to my boy, Spencer. But he called me. He's like, you better give me some fucking credit in that interview, man, talk about four hundred flowers, four hunder flowers. Uh, I mean it's you feel me. I would like back in the day, like twoy eleven, like you fee me.

I had did like a strand with this week company that was a long time county I did why g o G back like like back then, you know what I'm saying. But you from that's before the weed shit was all the way legal and right. But I was so young, I didn't really know what I was doing. But I've been trying to figure it out ever since then, like a real situation. So I finally like figured out the situation. And yeah, we started putting our product and ship. Why jo G got the chicken waffles and berries bot

and cherries, uh fucking waffles. We got the buleid you know what I'm saying. We got some new shift in the drop all that and the thing is crazy. It is like I feel like I don't ever remember you as a big smoker as much as you just drink a lot. Yeah nah, Because so I turned into it like I was a smoker when I was like high school, like young, smoking smoking smoke and smoking smoking. And then when I got on like twenty two twenty three, like the smoking wasn't it wasn't my vibe because it'd like

like it'll throwed me off, you feel me. I started taking my life like more serious and just like aware of my surroundings and like, bro, the weed that had me like paranoid, be clutching, I think a bout a homiees trying to like do something fat. It just had me tripping, like and then then it had me like thinking like I'd be like, bro, I'm a bum, Like, bro, what are you doing with your life? It had me that time. He sure wasn't mushrooms, nah boat. It was

that weed bro on the gang, that weed bo. That shit had a nigga's head tweaking, so like I just was like, you know what, I don't think this shit for me. Then I start sipping and then it's drink It'll be like but the drink is like, I don't be in my head like that, and then the drink got his cons too, you know what I'm saying. But yeah, I'm straight tequila, straight tequila. Now I smoke with the homies and shit like I smoke like, but I'm not like the weed smoker out the crew. What is your

go to tequila? Oh, don Hlio Blanco. That's so good. I always tell people Don Julio Blanco, I'll take that over nineteen forty two. Yep, it tastes better. I'm the one that had everybody drinking nineteen forty two and now they drinking down Huio Blanco. Nineteen forty two is kind of overrated, yeah, but it's like it's good. It's like a cute bottle. Don't drink that shit no more. Ye,

that shit is old. And you know what else, I feel like it's overrated as the fucking class of as all shit people just like to you know, it's not that bottle look good. It's a good bottle. Bottle. We're talking about the drink inside of it. Give me the not a drink on that cool. It's better than forty two. You feel like it's more sweet of something, right, coo or don y'all drink drink Don blanco cosa migos blanco,

I drink down. I'm surprised with the amount of alcohol I've seen you consume in our long tenure as friends, that you don't have your own alcohol yet. I'm working on that. It's gotta be coming soon. Man, snoops, got with fucking wine out here. I'm working on that. My ship is crazy. It's gonna be tequila, of course. Okay, of course, I don't know. Maybe we get a yg hard seltzer. No, no, nah, you feel that's a bitch drink. Damn, that's bitch beer. Is that bitch beer? That's bitch beer.

Brove me some liquor. I love me some bitch beer. That's cool, that's cool, that's cool. You know why you drink that ship and it doesn't You don't have no fucking calories in it. Bro on from the streets. We drink hard liquor. I respect that. I used to be. I used to be a corona drinker. See that's if you drink like seven coronas while you're DJing. By the end of you're done, you feel like a bloated, fat fuck. If I have seven white claws, I feel like, oh

I just had seven bottles of water. I'm just go piss it out and I'm still fucked up. It's more of a diet decision because you know, I'm getting older now. That sounds like beer for sure. Yeah, that sounds like bitch beer, is you know what I'm saying. So we're gonna sit here that that is that is now trademarked. If you drink Seltzer's, it's bitch beer. That's That's what I think from from how I live and from the ship that we that I think is cool and was not.

You got your own lifestyle and your own world and y'all like drinking white claws, like hard liquor and brown paper bags. Coming up next year will be the ten year anniversary of My Crazy Life. No bro right twenty thirteen or was it twenty fourteen? So I fuck, that's eight Okay. I don't know why I'm trying to remember that like era in my life? Yeah? Are you? Have you already started to think ahead though? Like, because that's a fucking one of the greatest albums of all time?

Anything special for the ten years in a couple of years, Yeah, No, We're definitely gonna do something for sure. We got to that's menator. You feel that album changed my life for sure? How is is Mustard involved production wise on this album at all? Nah? Is it getting annoying? Like everyone always asking that about like your projects? He is Mustard on here? Nah, It's like it's regular. Any other producers you could talk about working with on the album. I mean, oh, like

my producer Swiss, you know what I'm saying. He got some joints on the album. Another young producer I Funck with his name little Rich, he got some joints on the album. Everybody else, Oh, hit Boy got up. I was gonna ask I feel like you and hit Boy. No, hit Boy got a thing on. He got a thank thing on the album. You got a thing on that motherfucker. And then everybody else is just like young Young and up and comings my young and Larry J got a joint on there. You know, I feel like the album

is not done. I'm still working, so it's like it's hard to live hard, you know what I'm saying. I feel like you have a great ear for beats, and you always keep people around you that got a great ear for beats. Because like, no matter what people say about your ship, your beats are always on the fucking point. Like it's somehow like that's an underrated trade to having music is having a good ear for beats. Some motherfucker

like Na's forever had the worst ear for beats. And then he linked up with hit Boy and you know, two classics in a row. Shout out to hit Boy, you and Mazzie putting out the joint album. It's a big fucking deal for the West Coast last year. You have obviously been locked in with Maji for a very long time, really before he was kind of on this run that he's been on where he was kind of like a household name. But what was like, uh was it?

Was it a purposeful thing you guys went in and did it or were you guys just working because I know you were in with Dave and like, like, you guys are working just a lot. Did it just feel like, you know what, we got all these records cut, let's just do a fucking album? Like what how did that? No? Really, we ain't even really had like we had started working just on some shit before. We'll just started working and we did some records and then like like it was

like top of twenty twenty one. I think you know what I'm saying. Dave pulled up on me like, Bro, like you know what I'm saying, Like what you think about doing the project? And Bro, it's the middle of COVID, ain't nobody really got nothing going on. We just like trying to kill time. And then I'm like, hmm, Mazzie, that's my that's my fella, fella fella, you know what I'm saying. I'm like, Bro, And then you finished right

before I like saw me and Mazzi. We locked in and started working right before I was finished started working on my album. So I'm like, Bro, it's the perfect time to get in with Bro because Bro be rapping, like he be saying that, he be talking that shit so like and I'm like a part, Like you feel me if you put me on the court with a fucking NBA player, Bro, I'm a hoop Like I'm play like playing the NBA. You feel me, That's what I think. But so I locked in with Margie, so I'm like, yeah,

this shouldn't be good. It's shouldna be some good. You know what I'm saying, Like, get my ship right for my ship and do some dope ship for the culture that's been needed anyway. You know what I'm saying with somebody I really fuck with. So, uh, when Davo had to come like you feel me the homie you from me here, Rod, he was like, yeah, bro, we need to do that. We need to do that right there. Yeah yeah, yeah, I'm like, yeah, yeah, let's go. So

you feel me. We did it. We uh we call guys to be like, yeah, guys, come on, we're gonna do this thin part. Don't even worry about nothing. You feel me, guys. He was like, let's go and we have fun. We was recording having like in Cabo right doing a lot of Yeah, we ended up going to Cabo to shoot video in for my birthday. But we went to go shoot like two like two videos out there, and that ship was a vibe. Everybody came out there, Blash and Mazie, we had Young Young May. There was

a gang of homies. It was like it was like it was like bitch Galore out there. Bitch Galore, Uh, Lady Galore, Women Galore, Pretty bitch Galore, Thoddy Galore, Stripper Galore. A lot of imports from a lot options, a lot of options. Now, these are these women who live out there. You mean no, no no, no no, no, no no, no no, I've got to say a lot of ig thoughts all around.

No no, no women like well you said thought glory because you had to, Like we we flew some thoughties out there on purpose because we got some thirty ass homies that need thatt homies. But see I was going off of before so yeah, so would be so easy. Yeah,

I mean you gotta put Cube on there. Yeah, I'll put Cube on there for our generation. I'm gonna let you feel me. The people talk about that, you know, I mean, for the last like fifteen years, it's you, it's Kendrick, it's Game, and then the fourth guy, who am I forgetting?
