help people around you. Know. It's crazy because I think the first time we met, we're talking and I was like, dude, you're super talented, got a good head on your shoulders. last couple of years. And I feel like mentally you're in a space where a lot of artists aren't right, A lot of your peers aren't really where you are. But it feels like people are just trying to always drag you, drag you back into old l or just into some fun shit Like is it hard to not you know, kind of get back into that mind state, you know what I mean. I feel like at the end of the day, whatever I was in the past

is still a part of me. So it's never like it's never like you grow so much, it's not there normal, you know, It's still a part of me. So certain people might get that type of reaction they're looking for at me, you know, because at the end of the day, I've grown and that mature. But at the end of the day, at heart and the soul, I'm the same person. I'm just more mature than I know how to balance it, like win to be this person and when be that?

You know what I'm saying. So if I'm protecting my name, my brand, my family, my daughter, my son, whatever, I am the person that they once knew me for because at the end of the day, I killed for my family. I do whatever I gotta do for anybody around me

that I love or anything that I love. Of course, But it's just about being having a balance of it, you know, because at the end of the day, it's gonna come with with you being good, with you being on what you're doing, with you trying to be positive. You know what I'm saying, That shit gonna come. Negativity, Hey, it's gonna come because it's just the devil working overtime,

trying to knock you off your pivot. Yeah. And then I also just feel like, you know, like what the explain to me is there is there Like I'm assuming you don't have any issues with young boy. It feels like he just got issues with everyone. No, I ain't got issues with nobody, you know. I mean type type

of lifestyle I live. There's no room for that. What I'm saying, I'm focused on too much to be able to empower what I got, going to be able to empower my family, to be able to empower myself, like this this little kids stuff, you know, this fifth grade stuff. To me. Now, what I'm saying, we do bigger, better things. I'm trying to change the world. I ain't got no problem with nobody. The beef comes from the mind, the beef and the enemy is the mind. Whatever high move

and pride. You know what I'm saying, that's what it is. So that's a real shit. You push back your album a week, Uh Dolphin and uh you know obviously everyone who was signed the Dolph put out the longer Dolph project out of respect to Dolf. You guys are from the same city. What was your guys' relationship? Like, I mean, I sent him like I sent him two times, but it wasn't anover a relationship. That was just Bill like you know, I could call on him or call on me.

But at the end of the day was mutual respect. You know, I always it wasn't never anything. But at the end of the day. When I was younger, I looked up to a lot of these people, like you know the Yl guyis, I looked up to young Dolph. I looked up to both of them two camps, because at the end of the day, with you from Memphis, it's like who you can signed to if you blow it right now, you're gonna got it, like to talk, and I looked up to what they model was how

they did things. And when I blew up instead of signing to either one, I said, you know what them guys so now I got my own label. They inspired you to just yeah, because you stayed Indy, you could have signed to anybody. For real, that's big. What just being from Memphis, what it doff mean to the city, Like, that's a that's a really serious loss man. Independence more than anything I know from my standpoint, because that's on my mom teach. You know what I'm saying, anything anybody

to teach what my mom preaching. What I was brought up on. I rock with so independence and at the end of the day, family, you know, I feel like he had he had like two or three kids, he had, he had a girl. What I'm saying, You're a family person. So when stuff like that happened, I don't even think about the person. I think about the family and the kids. You know, That's where it hit home, and that's where it hit most at are you Are you still in

Memphis or yeah? I live in Memphis. But if I'm not a mythh I'm out here a lot of the time. But I like to create that balance because it's certain things I want to implement in my city and I feel like if I'm out of touch with my surrounders at a city, I won't really know what the city need right well, I mean, because some people in your position might leave Menph it's you know, a lot of people leave their hometown, maybe go to Atlanta, just to kind of get out the way, because usually you got

more haters in your hometown than anywhere else. So for you, it was like a conscious decision to stick around because you want to get back to the city and you want to make sure you kind of have yeah, and just know how to move. You know, it's all about how you move when you in these places. You know, don't never go out of bounds. I always stay in your same routine. Whatever you do. If you have to go out of bounds, don't do it unless you really have to go somewhere that you don't go every day.

You know, if you ain't eating, if you ain't at my house, if you ain't in grandma house, be at home doing what you gotta do. You know what I'm saying, getting your piece together. Because I can come out here and I can move around because I know how to work. I work out here, but if I'm at home, I'm trying to develop a type of thing in space or type of piece. So I'm not really in the mix. I feel like being in the mix, this one stuff goes wrong. I mean the endbounds out of bounds. There

it is. You were talking earlier that you feel like you've reached the peak of your meditation. Yeah, so what explain to me how meditation has been for you? And just like what is I don't think people understand like exactly how to do that? Like it's you know what I mean, like give us that breakdown, and like when you say you reach the peak of your meditation, what do you you know, what are you alluding to? So pretty much like as I mean. Okay, So when I

first started meditating, I was receiving visions same day. I like, I like meditate and my eyes would light take like lights, Like I could meditate with a certain type of squint and my eyes. It was crazy. He used to be able to take like certain pictures or whatever that was in my eye sight and bring them together and make visions out of him. It was crazy. It was like some shit I've never seen before, Like on one thing,

one thing I cannot remember. It was some delivery company I think it was X or something, some damn ups or something. I was looking at it while I was meditating, and I think I broke down the whole letter and it made like a symbol. It was like an eye, and it was like weird. I was breaking down everything, like my third eye was really moving. I would have dreams. I have like strong gas dreams where I'd be able

to feel like I was really there. I still have those dreams, but it was more stronger because it was something I wasn't the custom to. It wasn't a lifestyle. It was like getting introduced to it. But now it's like I still have those dreams, but I don't want so have like the visions or certain things like that. But I feel like I just reached the peak of

my independence of meditation. Now I want to implement certain things like like tribal and meditations, or like meditating with like a group of people, like certain stuff that can strengthen what I got going on, like mushrooms yours shrooms too, or have you ever heard of ayahuasca? Ayahuasca? I have heard that I have her. They come off a plant. Huh. Yeah, you got to go to Costa Rica, get a shaman, prepare, drink that ship and then you know, I heard as I heard a song to it, resead, is that not

what reset your whole mind? Yeah, that's what they say. Yeah, it's it's like like I had a friend do it and he said it was like thirty years of therapy and like one day. So yeah, ship, that's pretty that's pretty deep, yo. How are you? I feel like? You know, I saw the tweet you sent out recently about how you were saying that when it comes to music, you can't get that right. Seemed like if you were frustrated when you sent that tweet, where's your mind? Stay at man?

What was going through your head when that happened? Just just just what's going on? Honestly? Like first and first and foremost. It's like it's like never really a frustration thing to me. It's more so remember this ship, Like it's just like it's never like, oh man, you were down on yourself. It's never there. It's more so I like, I'm gonna show you, motherfuckers. was cool what I was doing, I'd be relaxed. I'd be if you're doing good. This shit gonna come so uh this year, man, you said you're gonna have a crazy twenty twenty two. So once you develop a goal or focus some to drive towards, I feel like that's when you implement it, you know, So when you are doing retention seeming retention and then you still fuck right, I'm just trying to understand this. I really, I'm really trying to move towards alkaline, you know, but I feel like a lot of people that alkaline you have to have a shelf with you. What then does that mean alkaline? I mean like it's nothing just really processed. It's more so everything so here it's like raw, like raw food and not just raw, but like everything is it's just PhD pH is higher than seven. Couldn't you just drink a whole lot of pH water? But

then like what I'm gonna eat? I'm just being I'm just being ignorant, I know, yeah, like let me just go get a bunch of a of a centia. And that's another thing watched the spring water there's sensu and the fucking what's the other water? A little blue one? Well, the worst water is aquafina and the sani that ship

tastes like says spring water. Is there anybody who's coming up who you've kind of taken a liking to, who you've maybe given some advice. I know, I know you spoke about a conversation you have with King Vaughan, right, but I just mean in general, like, is there any up and coming artists that you just

are a fan? Of that, maybe you've reached out to or had some like some dope conversations with Maybe give me some game. I got three artists on my label from the city, one of them from Arkansas, one of them from Mississippi, and the other ones from South Memphis. But they're all pretty much from Memphis because this where they operated. So I feel like Folk, I'm Draco, Baby Hot and Gino two times, those those three right there,

like they the face of pretty much was coming. Because I'm not just saying it because they are on my label. I'm saying it because like I wouldn't put nobody on my fucking label if you're not talented and I don't see no driving you. So I just want to let y'all know, not only is it gonna be a great year for me, it's gonna be a great year for in Eli as a whole. My producer also beats by Draco. What is what are what's like some of the things that you know you you kind of try to I mean, you've experienced this shit as a kid, Like how long would you turn eighteen. No, I'm nineteen. You're nineteen now. I just turned nineteen November. First both time flages ye on me jesus, I was like seventeen when I was with you when I first game. No, I think you are sixteen the first time I interviewed you last year. You might, you know, because I interviewed you in like

What do you tell them, like the things to look out for, maybe some advice, some ship that like you, you kind of had to learn the hard way, bro man. Just just watch how you talk to people, Watch how

you deal with people. You know you can your emotions can be feeling one way, but try to have I let one of my artists know that the most, because he'd be he'd be going through it. What is baby mama system manager or whatever it is? Just tell him wait, wait, wait wait, these are different people, right. I just want to make sure that his baby Mama's sister and manager aren't the same person, because that'd be interesting. Well, it pretty much is so his baby mama and his system.

That's the least of a concern though. But this is not one human Okay, I'm sorry. It's just it's just a lot of it is the South. I had to ask continue. It's just a lot of things. It's just a lot of things on you know what I'm saying, from different people. You just got to watch out from you know. Just know, everybody ain't got your best interesting. Everybody don't want to see you, you know, full of your full of your reshow, full of potential. So just be on the lookout for it. Keep your head up,
