Play podcast special guesting here the boy rep in the Bay. Welcome man, I feel like I ain't seen you since you were a part of the legendary West Coast Collective. Yeah, we was at the radio station. Yeah, this was like in twenty seventeen or eighteen. I think this was prior to you guys having any like real media training, because I did like an interview with y'all once and it was like god awful, and then the second go round it was a lot better. I was like, Yo, why

they even come up here? You guys are just spaced out, tired, like not saying shit one word to answers. No, but yo, man, first of all, congrats on just like you know, a lot of people in your situation might have had a hard time. Like you know, I feel like the perceived it guy in the group was young too. You guys broke up, and sometimes when we see groups break up, man, like,

it doesn't go so well for everybody. Like you know, I think Phoenix, Flexen and Gez are doing a great job after this short line breakup, and I think you you're really like fucking killing it right now, bro, Like what like it seems like you just kind of came out on the other side of the s ob thing like a lot stronger and like a lot more just on your ship. Yeah man, I'll try. Man, I'm just trying to keep this shit authentic, you feel me? Just

keeping this ship fun? Yeah, being myself with this shit, you feel me? Yes, all for people who don't know what I know. I know what it stands for, but I can't say what it stands for. What is the chance young why nigga? Okay, okay, you feel or young why Nason? However you want to play, I prefer the young wild nation, you know why? Nason? Yeah, I keep it PZ like on some business shit. You know why you got you gotta you gotta have something Caucasian friendly

to get off, you know. For It's like when the when the Migos first came out and it was like, y Aren, I'm like I can't even like, no, it's young rich Nation. I'm like, no, it's not what I'm saying that. Yeah, it used to it's young rich Nation, but it's really young rich et cetera. Same s Yeah, yeah yeah, but yeah, man, I feel like you just really been on your show, Like what what do you think? Like the last couple of years has kind of taught you about like your career and like where you are.

Like now what it taught me? See, I ain't gonna a lot of nigga had a lot of downfalls in the beginning. I embraced all my down falls for like I just try to you feel me, turn on my negatives into positives. You feel me. Instead of a lot of niggas. A lot of niggas go through shit, you feel me. That shit knock their ass down. It'd be hard for him to get up. You feel me. I just niggas just had to get their ass back up.

You feel me. Take this shit most serious for a long story short, get in a detail if you want me to go ahead, man, shit, get into it. That's what you're here for. I mean shit like with the group. Shit like I remember, like when I first started rapping, I couldn't even really rap, like I was just saying anything like you feel me, everything fast like you feel I mean saying anything like it was no substance like you feel me. I'm just talking shit like you just

running your mouth. I was really just good for a verse. You feel me like I wouldn't the hook I wouldn't know hooke God like you feel me, Bro was doing all that. He's taking care of that ship like you feel me. He had that ship on his back. He's going crazy like he's making all the songs for real. But like Nigga, I had to get older for real, like you feel me, nigga learn how to. I started. I start really training myself to go to the studio more.

I was never really know I wouldn't it. I wasn't in the gym like that for real, Like hell no, Like I was just a regular nigga doing regular ship you feel me. But Nigga, I be I ain't gonna lie be on that type of time now like I love the studio, I don't want to do nothing but be in that bitch for real. Like I trained myself like well, I'm saying, I embrace all the dumb ship that happened, like as in like I embrace all the street ship, all the ship that you feel me. I

embraced all the cutoffs. I'm brace brace like dropping all them weak ass versus trying to find myself in the studio. Saw that shit, So you feel me. All I all that shit did was just make me want to you feel me become a better me for really, So I had to train myself, like I don't know I was when I was living in La. I was I wouldn't live in La. I was living at Glendale. I was living at Glendale, but I wouldn't in my bag, I

wouldn't in my right bad. I moved to Glendale, little LA area till you feel me, stay focusing, get away from home. You feel me? Where year was that? What was that? I think twenty eighteen or nineteen, so this was like it is twenty eighteen nineteen. This is like peak sob like twenty eighteen nineteen. I moved away to get focused, and I wasn't in the studio like that, like you feel me. I'm shit, I'm thugging with my niggas like as if I was home. I got niggas

in La like you feel me. I'm kicking it with them niggas like like just thugging. I go to the studio every now and then. By what wasn't doing that? So I'm like, I could do this shit at home if I'm be on this. After my son was born, I don't know, like nigga, I just looked them in this out one day and like, damn, I gotta do this shit for real, Like I just been going crazy ever since nigga's been in the studio, Like I start

freestyling and ship hell and shit. But before I started free styling, I had to start taking this shit most serious. I was taking this most serious in the studio every day, and it became more and more easy to me. And once I start freestyling, it was way more fun to me.

Like when I was writing that she used to feel like homework and shit like you feel me like it make a niggas, I ain't want to be in the studio all night if knowing you gotta write and shit, you feel me once I got comfortable just going in that bitch and you feel punch it in, punching in. Yeah, I had way more fun with this ship and it shit sound way better like you feel me. A lot of niggas punch in and just you feel me just

trying to get the song done. Quantity over quality my shit still quality, my shit my other shit sound like quantity compared to what I got now and I got and I made way more songs this year, or what you feel me like what I ever been making alder years like you feel me, nigga comfortable in the store and I'm braced. Uh, I was on House Arrest. I got an album on November twelfth, car House Arrest coming out. That motherfucker Finn be hot. Every song on there. I

made that bitch on House Arrest. Was I go say, I'm braced that bitch because that house or rest. Being on house arrest, that shit, that shit kept a nigga focused for real, Like I ain't gonna lie like that shit had me on my program, Like I couldn't do nothing but go to the house and go to the studio because that was my job. You feel me, So that'saw all nigga's doing. So soon as I get off this bitch, I'm about that bitch. I'll probably get when

I get off like a month and a half or something. Yeah, I probably got off like a month and a half ago. Like my program is still a saying like I'm on house Arrest, Like I go to the studio and I go home, like you feel me like I feel it, Like like then you're still kind of on that routine. Even though I'm still on that routine, that shit be psyching me out sometimes like them, I can't go because like, this is really what I want to do all day.

Like if it's a it's a good feeling though, so you would say like that the difference between you now and maybe a couple of years ago was like, do you think like you weren't maybe taking your craft serious? Oh non't cause niggas Like if I was taking the craft serious back then, like we would have had way more classic shit like you feel me, I would have been more of an aspect to the situation. I was a good aspect to the situation, but I'd have been

a bigger aspect. I was taking the most serious, Like, yeah, I was good by one great like you feel me, Like I'm in the process of becoming great right now. Is there old SLB shit that you hear yourself on You're like, man, that ship was whack, Like fuck, I wish all the time. What's your least favorite verse? Man? A lot of them, A lot of them. I got. I got some good ones though, So no, no, for sure, but I just feel like going. So it's a lot of bullshit out there to me, that's fair. I mean

that's also dope to admit. You know, a lot of people would admit such things. You know what I'm saying. I'm my biggest critic, Like I go to this day like I could go in the studio song come, I'll be like this shit week, like go to the next one, like you feel me If I make some weeks show all that shit is gonna make me want to do

is make something better, like you feel me. I'm my biggest critic though for s like I ain't scared to save my shit week, Like I ain't putting that shit out if I think it's weak too, like it's hell of songs A nigga make that you feel me will

never hear you will never hear. That's fair. I keep the quality coming off of So with house Arrest, I feel you know what's crazy is like I feel like we kind of were all on house arrest during the pandemic, and I feel like it kind of for the people who really were hustlers or really had it in them and not on them like it I made more money during the pandemic than I've ever had in my life,

and not not off of PPP loans. So all right, legitimately, but I feel like there's something about that where like it just kind of activates you, like something in your brain where it's like and activate, like a different type of hustle. Yeah, not facts, bro. Who else on the album? Shit I got I got on b pasy, I got all black, I got Rmble Coline, say, I got cash keid Oh you got a lineup on there. Shout out to ramble Man cool little starting five. Shout out team,

you're going crazy right now. That man, he's uh different, he's different different. He kind of took what Draco does, but like does his own thing, like kind of a spawn of Draco but like different though. He just talks very calmly on beats like a scholar. Yeah, it's like he's teaching like college courses, like putting out on the board or something like you feel me? He different, Like that's how you go crazy in a game, Like you gotta approach the stop. You gotta approach this bitch, like

what a style of your own. You can't just approach it with some different gotta be different and unique. That nigga shit different and unique. So you feel me, it's only right keep going crazy. Do you have any sort of relationship with anybody from Messo B anymore? Slimmy, Okay,

that's good. I just feel like y'all are one of the biggest what ifs, like ever, I don't know what it is man about the West Coast and not being able to keep fucking groups together like Shortltd Mafia after y'all came after y'all and it was like, damn, what if like two more years shit could have really I remember like going to seeing you guys. I was in Seattle and shit was a October of twenty eighteen. You guys had a show in Seattle. Wow, And I was like, Yo,

this these guys got something special going here. Seattle love us. I love Seattle. Ye know, it was crazy, but like, do you ever like think back, Like, man, what if we would have just all been on the same page the kind of run you guys could have had. Are you happy with where your journey is? Legend? You would have surely been going crazy? But like it was a lot of shit going on, Like I feel everybody probably happier, like howhit is right now, Like I'm happy. I know

Slimmy happy. I'm pretty sure everybody else happy like you feel me. We're all happy like you feel me. It is like everybody what was I gonna say, like, h to me for me, I'm gonna speak for myself. Like I feel more refreshing, like you feel there's a lot of shit I ain't gotta deal with. You feel me, nigga, more refresh and I focus. You feel me worry about me you only have? Yeah, well now you have to only worry about what you want and now you can tell your story what I haven't to worry about, you

know what. I feel like That's the one thing about being in a group. It's like there's always a compromise it with the creativity. You know, one nigga could say some stupid as shit and like you feel me, everybody name tied to it, like you feel, I'm fresh and like I'm good like I used to be stressed out, like hell this shit, like nigga not stressed out, like nothing, Like I'm good Like I want to ask you this because I always when when I feel like you guys had a lot of influence on a lot of people

that you guys don't get credit for at all. Like when blue Face first started popping. I remember, like when we interviewed blue Face, I was like I brought you all up because I was like, well, it's not like he's the first guy that kind of fuck with blue and blue Face is the homie, and I think blue Face is dope as fuck. But I felt like when I heard like a guy like blue Face, I was like, I hear like the influence of of what you guys were doing, Like you guys feel like you don't get

enough props. I'm not even talking about specifically with him. I'm not gonna lie like I've seen an interview with blue Face. He was like, Oh, somebody asked him about do we listen to like Motherfucker's in the bait? He was like nah, not He's like, no, not really, but ill fuck with b rb E THO, Like that makes sense. Like I ain't saying you got it style from It's like, oh, like shit, it's like you guys, You guys definitely created a lot of people. We influenced so many people, Like

you never know where motherfucker's got they sound from. So it's really motherfuckers that you feel me get they sound from somewhere else that you feel me your motherfuckers got it from somewhere else, somewhere else, somewhere else. Even subconsciously, people don't even realize the ship they're influenced by. Yeah, like motherfuckers don't A lot of motherfuckers don't be hips hore shit, But like that happens with the Bay all the time. Though. I feel like every wedding's influenced by

the band. Were a blueprint around this bitch for so but like a lot of motherfuckers don't know that because the sound like we made it universal and everybody copying each other, like don't nobody know, Like where where shiit coming from? Who would you say? Like was your and like s OB's influences like coming up because at the time when you guys are coming up, that's probably right around the time like HBK gang started to kind of cool off and like kind of go their own ways.

I used to listen to SBK in middle school so heavy. I used to love them boys. Then they're like getting in the high school too. What was I gonna say? Our influences, Like our main influences was really like n w A, like you feel me just coming out rowdy, rapping on like the old school be and shit, Like Detroit was a part of that ship too. Yeah, there's something about Detroit in the Bay. That's like they're like

married to each other somehow. Yeah, Like all my niggas was listening, That's all they listened to was Detroit niggas, like to this day, like my niggas love Detroit music like you feel so Bay loves Detroit and loves the Bay. I'm around these niggas like you feel me, you are you all you hang around, so I'm eventually I start loving that shit too, like you feel Me. A lot of it. I mean, the same temple on a lot

of records. I had bustsing like twenty fourteen like you feel Me, Like before I was rapping like we was already on that, like we all. I guess that shit just all came together and we just put that ship in one like but nigga, we really wanted to the only the only thing niggas really took from Detroit though, I give them. Niggas took the glasses though I ain't gonna lie like that. Niggas slimmy like he used to show me. He used to slap hell of Detroit niggas

and all them. I used to love him glasses. I blow them Bitches's dope with them. Call you feel Me soon, as he told me, I had them business. I never took them business off. You feel me, I love them business to this day. I still I don't even wear them business like that I got I got something, but like only like wearing them business like. If I get some, it's gonna I might get the clear Lands or something like.

You feel me look like an intellectual around this bitchline, trying to be buff, looking like Rumble, looking like how rumble sounds some freak game? Hey, what up man? We gotta interrupt the interview real quick to tell you about our family at odds Socks. Now, when I be riding for odd Socks so hard, man, it's because I really love the product. What part of the baby from I'm from val Shout

out to Vallea. We just had larussele up here. Who's doing this thing? They're going crazy? He fucking Russell. I feel like Vallejo's like, uh man, we're we're talking. We transsetterus for sure, we transset us and we ain't getting no flowers around this basic But I mean, shit, so good. He's just gonna take over this bitch and they gonna

see it later. Is it frustrating, Like for people who aren't from the Bay, how they just box everything into like, oh, you're from San Francisco and ain't frustrating, But like I know how I got that understood. That's how they gonna think. But like earlier, when you got here, you were like La, I mean Glendale because it's not the same thing, but like I got some niggas from I got some niggas from La, like you feel already know, it's kind of

like the same thing. When people think of the Bay, they think of like San Francisco, and they just box it all in. And it's like, now San francius is a city so totally different than Glendale, totally totally different things. So I had to correct myself. No, so so well living Let's say, well, what is it about Balletjo you think that liked has produced so much historical talent, and like like you said, I do feel like there's a

lot of transcending that comes out of Ballejo. I mean you see, like I said, like we trendsetters, Like we got boys that grew up, we got legends from out there. We got mac jer like you Feld, big legend, like whole world. No about I ain't got you, foty, we got be legit what we got C C. Sabbatia Like

we got hell of motherfuckers the Yankees. Yeah, like we got legends around that bitch like yourself from therefter Pharaoh, all them niggas like think about us, like we like to be different too, like you feel, we don't like to see what the nigga doing then like try to sound like a nigga, know none of that. We all like to be different. Stand out. What is like if you're from Vallejoe coming up, what did you which football team does Vallejo usually choose? We know forty is a

Niner fan? Is it the Raiders? Is the Niners? Obviously? Now the Raiders are from Vegas. I ain't gonna lie. My parents from Oakland, so they went for the Raiders. So that's what I grew up rooting the Foe. But like people around me like growing up like motherfuckers I met growing up and to be like, yeah, I think I think the motherfuckers really be going for the it.

It'll be fifty fifty yes, Niners writers. A lot of Niner fans though, is the bipen thing like as big of a deal in Vallejo as it is like in San Francisco. Not as big, but you'll get your ass bipped out there. Though. That ship is crazy and it's big. I heard like right now that they have like one hundred thousand dollars reward if you if you could turn someone in who is doing that ship. Oh yeah, I've seen that shit. I don't think that shit true though.

I mean I ain't see it on the news or something. I just see it all like a blog site, like it's a meme, Like is it really like that type ship? Like, because I might turn myself in for Biitman, if I'm gonna I might be worth doing a few months in jail for a hundred bands. You know what I'm saying that Niga playing, No, that shit's crazy. And then I saw like wife, he hold it down till you get out. Yeah, like we got one hundred K. We're gonna chill ninety days.

You know, don't bail me out, keep all that. Steal this iPad for myself. You know. The Biben shit in San Francisco is insane, Like it's hell. Yeah, I know, h Burners putting out like a he's putting out a movie that kind of is all about that ship, like a like a hood like paid in fool, like niggas, niggas that come up, hundreds of bands off that ship

like this. It's crazy. I don't elyone give. I don't want to get no free game on that, but it gets your ass bit yeah, because it's almost like it's almost like like the lotto, right, like you just hit as many cards and like hope that one of them has someone someone swepping, and then there's so much like there's so much weed money coming in and out of San Francisco, those dispensaries, it's all cash. It's like that's crazy.

What what when you know when we're talking about this album House Arrest, what what was like the most challenging part about making this project for you? Challenging? I ain't gone. The only challenging part I had with this project was picking out my songs because you have so many. That

ship was done before by everybody listen to it. That's like, nigga, you gotta start doing features like he ain't got no features Like that she made me realize, like, Okay, features really do matter, like because it's a nigga that it's some motherfucker. I listen to your tape just because they favorite rapper on that bitch like you some real sh bro And if that ship sounded good like you feel me,

they might around the whole album try Mama's. But like features is important, like from now, I'm doing all features. If I do a tape with no features, it might be like something small like a little EPs. Sorry, like i't now. I don't even like listening to the niggas types of thing got no features unless they like really one of them boys, but like you gotta have features, like I see that ship now. It's very rare to see a project with no features too, like j Cole

does it. I know, Keylock just put an album. Niggas do Keylocks album comes out tonight and then there's zero features. He dropped the trackless like and he was like it was like I'm revealing my features, and it was it was just nobody else for Keylock feature and key Clock. That's what they say. No, I mean no, but it's pretty much pretty much the case. Yeah, say, did you have to pay for any of your features on this album? Nah? Everybody did for the love little Swap, and I ain't

never paid for a future. I pay for a feature though the right one, Yeah, the right one is always worth it. But like I pay for a future. So was there anyone you try to like tap in with it? It just ton end up working out? Uh? I mean like not nobody that replied back for real, Like I probably hit the motherfucker trying to work, like you know how that shit be, like when a motherfucker booming, Like I ain't gonna see all DM for real, like you

feel me. Niggas got motion like them bitches wash up? Yeah, and they also like you're you're like, if you're that big, you get so many lot dns, wash up. And I ain't even as big as you feel me a motherfucker. I'm trying to work with you feel me? So I can only imagine who are your favorite artists right now that you're like a fan of that you're really fucking with.

I fuck with Dirk, I fuck with Yes t G. I fuck a little baby, I fuck with Uh, fuck with Folk too, that nigga hard let me see, I fuck with I fuck with that nigga baby face too, baby, I fuck with I fuck with everybody in the Bay too, like Bay going crazy, Like I listen to shit, that's one thing about me, Like I ain't laid on nothing like who out of the Bay? Like can you that? You know you think it's kind of like representing the area.

Well right now, that's that's that's newer right now, right now, my little bro out there going crazy and Nigga Cato you got a song called go off that motherfucker like viral TikTok, that motherfucker slap too. I looked that motherfucker up, like, uh, it's I ain't gonna lie whole bay going crazy, like whole San Francisco, like it's motherfucker's in Oakland go crazy right now. Like we got a little motion in to

be like you feel me. It's some stocking ain't the bay, but like you feel mecking, but like stockedon is crazy? Is going crazy right now? Stocked and going crazy. But why I drove through stocked and I drove through stocking last month with my boy who's from there. I was like, damn, this ship is this ship? Is this this ain't this ain't no place to play around with. Here's trenches for so yeah, I'm like you who would have thought? It's just I just think of stocked, and I don't know why.

I man, I never been there. I just always think of like some small little town, you know what I'm saying, it's trenches over there. So and then you hear some of these artists out of there this ship, they're like, damn stocking that crazy. I ain't never really been out there like that for real. But like you've never had

a show in Stockton. I feel like that had so by now probably SLB if we did, it was probably like one time, but like, I ain't never Like, I ain't never been to like no hood or nothing over there, like Dave's Hot Chicken touchdown. I probably went of like yeah, days how chicken going crazy. I probably went to like an aunty house or something back and then when I was little, But I ain't never seen like their hoods or none of that. I know it's transfers out there though,

So I just ain't got no business out there. What would it take for you and the other guys from SLB to ever do like a reunion project? Or is that is there been so much shit said to where it's like no coming back from at this point. I don't think that should have happened. Gang, Yeah, I don't know about that one. I mean, shit, if that shit happened, nigga, we must be dead. Wow. That's what it is when somebody else put that ship without everybody permission type shit,

Like you feel me? What about you and Slimmy? Would you guys do like an offshoot of like since you're still tight with him, like we just got to take we we got to take called still ganging like a couple of months ago. I think in September. Was that received well from like the old fans? You said it was a receiver? Yeah? Like did like like like did that? Because you know, I feel like a lot of a lot of you guys fans are so fucking crazy guy fucking with that ship. But a lot of motherfuckers you

know how they want they want the whole group. But like you feel me, it's only the beginning, Like you feel't worry about it, like we got we got ship on the way like this she only get better and better. Hey there it is man shout out of Leheleho's financing the building. I'm so look November twelve. The album is out November twelve, Yes, sir, I love the name. How many songs all together? You're sitting on right now. I

don't even know. I Sometimes I look at my email and just go through it, and I'll be like, damn, I forgot about this ship, Like I got hell and shit like man, I could put ten tapes together right now if I want to, But like you know how that shit be, I'm only pick out the quality, like you feel me a lot of shit, like the sounds sound kind of old, like you feel me, Like I keep the crispiest ones around though, like I don't lose them bitches, like a lot of songs if I forgot

about it, like you ain't one of the ones I was. But like ship that ship like cool to keeping an archives for like you feel me for the future, like motherfuckers might create album I might create albums, and motherfuckers might create albums and ship for my son and ship with a nigga not here, and shit, you sh some cheese out that ship. It's some shit gonna be left

back for. So I just had a homie Hooper. Uh, he's got like a little following, and he put out He took all those songs that like he'll never put out and he put them on a on an album that fans could it would never be on DSPs. So he sold them for one hundred dollars. It was like thirty records on a CD or on a USB drive. See I do something. And he sold like a thousand.

He sold a thousand of them. He hit like one hundred thousand dollars, lick like that, selling ship that he never planned on taking out, like putting out and none of it's never gonna be on DSPs. That's the way to do it for so and and I got some shit that I ain't never gonna put out that's still hot. But it's like, I'm, uh, what ship I'm put I'm putting the hotess out. I still got some hot shut out, but I'm putting the hot this out. So I'm ana

fuck around do that city shit for for sure. Man, Well, listen, we appreciate you pulling up. Uh. The album is out on what next Friday? Right November twelfth? What next Friday? What's today? Todays? And six oh yes next Friday, next Friday, Thursday, nine pm PST midnight est Man, go get the album. Shout out to the boy. Appreciate you pulling up.
