Previewing Week Six in the SEC

There are just four games on the SEC schedule this week, but all of them should be competitive games. Looking ahead at Vanderbilt

Mississippi State will host Vanderbilt this weekend in a game the Bulldogs simply have to have. It's also a game that they should have, but nothing is a given this year. Today, I take a look at who is making plays for Vandy and who Bulldog fans should be aware of when the Commodores come to town. Bulldogs looking for direction at season's mid-point

Mississippi State lost last week as expected. The Bulldogs will now look to beat Vanderbilt and turn the season around. It has been a frustrating season, but State can win some games down the stretch. It all has to start this weekend. Previewing Week Five in the SEC

Mississippi State heads to Tuscaloosa with a tough date with the Tide. The Bulldogs are still figuring some things out, while Alabama is rolling. There are some pretty interesting match-ups in the SEC this weekend, but will they follow the expected script? It's 2020, so who knows? Bulldogs deal with attrition during Alabama week

Mississippi State fans saw their roster decrease by three on Tuesday when it was learned that a trio of players have left the program. The Bulldogs have seen several transfers this year and that was to be expected. So what should fans make of the recent attrition. SEC officiating takes another black eye over the weekend.

Mississippi State had the weekend off, but the SEC pushed ahead with four games. Two of those games went according to script, while a pair of toss ups proved to be fairly entertaining. The Ole Miss/Auburn game was mired with some controversy as officials appeared to miss a fumble that could have given the Rebels a victory. No matter how the Mississippi State family feels, Ole Miss appears to have a legit beef. We've been there before too. Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-boney...

Open date updates, Hill, Shrader and Peters

Mississippi State quarterback Garrett Shrader announced yesterday that he is leaving the program and entering the NCAA transfer portal. While the move is not unexpected, the timing is somewhat surprising. Kylin Hill's situation remains up in the air, but there is some chatter that he may not rejoin the team this year. Earlier today. State safety Fred Peters shared on social media that his season is over after having surgery. Where do the Bulldogs go from here? Support this podcast at — https://r...

Is Will Rogers the answer at quarterback?

Mississippi State struggled through another tough offensive showing on Saturday as the Bulldogs lost their third straight. One bright spot was the play of freshman Will Rogers. Rogers led State on its first offensive touchdown drive in nearly eight quarters. Is it time to make the change? Most appear to think so. The Bulldog offense has issues on all fronts.

Mississippi State dropped a winnable game at Kentucky in embarrassing fashion. The State offense did not score a single point marking the first time in Mike Leach's career as a head coach that his offense was shut out. The Bulldog defense played outstanding, but simply could not get any help from the State offense. What needs to be done to fix it? Mississippi State will head on to Kentucky this weekend to take on the Wildcats. What should the Bulldogs expect from LSU?

LSU is a proven program, but a bit of a mystery this year. The Tigers lost a ton of talent from the roster and the coaching staff in the off season.
