But I was. I was kind of blocked from that show for like five or six years.

And then the only other yeah, I haven't done that show. They did approach me once different producer to host the c MT UH Crossroads no CMT like your biggest Artists of the Year, and I ended up not being able to because of contractual stuff. But I told him going I said, I would love to do it, but I want to be able to write my own stuff, and I'll bring people to write with me, like Mike or whomever, but I want to be able to have my own material.

The only other issue that I had was the very first time they did the New Year's from Nashville. I was one of the two hosts of that show, and so I'm hosting that show and the girl was from Entertainment Tonight. She's good, very straightforward though, and that was a live show, and there were all these instances of you gotta just stretch time, you gotta yeah that I'm naturally good at not sticking to a prompter. Obviously, sometimes I have trouble seeing, so I'm just not that good.

That's how they do.

Next year, they get you like it's the first thing that every work. Good man, we'll pay you next year. All transparency, I think, I say much. I'm well, go for memory. I think they gave me forty grand to host the show that night.

I wasn't going to do it for I thought they would just call back and say we'll meet your demand. I wasn't going to do it for what they asked. And also working on New Year's Eve, like that sucked. Yeah, so that's that story. Yeah, I only you've ever shared that before. Okay, last thing
