Podcast No. 128 - Tex Talks Writing, Editors Talk Editing, and the realities of running an actual production
We talk about what makes this shit work.

We talk about what makes this shit work.
all stories are allegedly, in minecraft
Description - AS the William Tell overture plays in the background, Sgt. Focht and Uriah lead the Bravo Squad back to solve with violence the problem Quinn, Griglak, and Ricky have already solved with deception.
Ep. 13 "Burning Down the House.....Again" Description - Man, we REALLY like Fire. Like, A lot. Our relationship with fire as a medium is unhealthy, maybe bordering on pathologic. Also, Ricky cements his reign as the king of baffling people with bullshit.
Description - Delta Squad gets time off and a task from their benefactor, and the opposition is wholly unprepared for a Delta Squad unrestrained by the thin veneer of judicious moderation they display while in uniform. In short, the Violence has Escalated.
Description - We finally give up on tabletop sim and switch to foundry. The Squad starts a mostly unnecessary gun battle which, against our best intentions and efforts, advances the plot.
Disclaimer, this was recorded at a BPL Meetup. There is no BPLCON. Do not suggest this happened. There is a meetup. Also, this was recorded in a big room.
We discuss LOTR, some of the rings of power, many other things, and a lot of what if. Only meme knows anything about the setting. The rest of us are lost. God help us.

Ep. 10 "Twelve Ratlings and some Dogs" Description - The squad assists the townspeople with minor tasks and *less* people are maimed or killed. Then, with the promise of some actual time off, we set about to solve a dog theft in the watershed district with that distinct Delta Squad panache.
Ep. 9 "Oh, I thought you were a cult!" Description - Colm fixed the truck. Sgt. Foch immediately breaks it back in in the traditional, Delta squad way - running things over. The patrol continues as Delta Squad helps the denizens of Gamma-17 with issues mundane and heretical.
Description - Delta Squad returns from the City. Colm provides the squad with a mysterious object. Quinn takes good care of Frogge. The Squad, walking their beat while the truck is in the shop, believes crime is afoot and investigates thoroughly.
Description - Delta Squad, small fish out of their depth in a very big pond, are brought up to speed by a mysterious Administrator. Well, brought up to their "speed" anyway.
Description - Delta Squad, by now well respected and intimately trusted members of the local constabulary, are tasked with an objective of the utmost importance - successfully navigate to City Center without incident.
Description - A local bakery gets the squad's assistance with renovations. The Detective Squad needs assistance. More holes are poked through the fragile fabric of reality by frankly reckless use of warp magic.
WELCOME TO THE MAGISTRATUM MUNDANUS, a homebrew adventure set in the marginalia of a much larger and far scarier universe. Description - A local retiree got a complimentary upgrade, and needs a rather violent downgrade at the hands of our heroes. Delta makes an exceptionally...uhh..." concussive"...impression on more Underhill gangers in every sense of that word.
WELCOME TO THE MAGISTRATUM MUNDANUS, a homebrew adventure set in the marginalia of a much larger and far scarier universe. WELCOME TO EPISODE 3, "Burning down the House" Description - Delta Squad, newly minted, is given more responsibility than they probably should ever have at one time. Grigglak flies without bird, real or otherwise. A scheduled Battle of the Bands goes...well, it goes.
WELCOME TO THE MAGISTRATUM MUNDANUS, a homebrew adventure set in the marginalia of a much larger and far scarier universe. WELCOME TO EPISODE 2 "Banking on a Bright Future" Description - Field Training is a stressful experience for most new officers, However, *THIS* Field Training experience is mostly stressful for the Training Officer.
