Intro / Opening

My business partner, Storm, are from Oklahoma. The Oklahoma City Thunder is here. And so he was interested in summer. And he was like, man, I wish I are saying about these trades

Utilizing AI for Podcast Analysis

And so we were like, this AI to analyze transcripts, to. To build a product experience you can understand what's And our take on communities And so we wanted to build an something to people for them about that links directly to said and maybe a multi hour show.

Welcome to the Business to helping you enrich your bitcoin, the hardest money on I'm your host, Josh Friedeman, who is the founder of Bubble app that also uses AI to topic, for instance, bitcoin sports team, and gives that to So you can see not only what to are saying, but also be talking about the same topic. We're gonna get to our Kaz, welcome to the podcast. Hey, Josh, how's it going? Thanks for having me.

Yeah, so I like to start off questions that help us to get give us some insight for our So you ready for these? Let's go. Question number one is this. When and how did you first So I first found bitcoin, I and I was studying economics So a little bit of technology, and I was kind of sitting at I wanted to do cybersecurity. So I was teaching myself, you of these tools to, you know, about cyber security.

And as I was doing that, I It was kind of tangentially I really struck my interest than Cyber security. And my journey into Bitcoin or a Austrian economic perspective. It was purely a technology And how did the system work? I was essentially majoring in to dissect and analyze it, and So that's interesting. Did you.

Do you feel like you was as strong as it was from The reason I ask this is of people who got into Bitcoin I'd be curious to know if I. I'm curious to know if I would not been shaken out back in I'd like to think I wouldn't Did understanding Bitcoin's in it? From day one, I would say I.

Understanding Bitcoin: From Curiosity to Confidence

Did not fully understand what when I first started to look in me and an itch that I just because I couldn't understand it. I could see enough of it and there was. It was going to be extremely powerful. But I remember the first to read the white paper and worked and think about how. How would I even explain this technology at all? I couldn't even recite, like, over and over again to nail some of the aspects of how it worked.

And so it did not come an intuitive, like, this is And no matter if I can that I will eventually be able to. And so now I've come to the of how Bitcoin works. And when I'm learning to connect different patterns anymore, but after a decade, long enough, you do start to Absolutely. Question number two. What's an insight or fact understood? So I. This is going to be a So right now there's a big development happening around Bitcoin.

There's all sorts of different My theme, my general consensus development because of these to emerge. And we have to acknowledge we have to continue to adopt And if we just let bitcoin actually how bitcoin will fail. Hmm, interesting. And to go a little bit further take. Although I think there's would agree strongly with you. Do you feel like it would just. Do you think it would not else that would rise up? Or would the possibility of currency just fall away if I think it's the latter.

So I don't see something limitation of Bitcoin. However, there are aspects of not upgrade them, things will break. I also think we're seeing a as adoption. And so right now we're, you any bitcoiner, they would say fight you stage. I mean, we had the attack on operation choke point 2.0 and.

But now it's like, oh, the There's talk of bitcoin There is a what I would call a these shitcoins and meme coins from Bitcoin that take some of But if we were to just let I see the, the real threat as And so like the fact that have all of this nation State on the way and the mempool's That's not really a good thing. It's not. I mean, it's not the end of And if you're a bitcoin user, low sat for BBY transactions.

But in terms of network it's showing how much Bitcoin And that puts a risk of paper, of these ETFs, specifically, the voting rights on behalf of now. And so I see risks associated I'm not trying to black pill I think it's just important to to improve Bitcoin, and there that still are yet to be Very interesting. So question number three is, recommend to other people? That's a good question. I try not to cookie cutter everybody sees bitcoin from a And the longer you're around to gather up and.

And I start to think of more. Who is this person and what is bitcoin? Somebody who is more money printing may have like a Bitcoin than somebody with approaching it from a human for anybody to use Bitcoin people based on ethnicity or So I try to ask enough understanding of who that in general, and then I try to It's usually a book, though. I like when people read.

I usually don't send them a It seems like a lot of people Are there certain books that to pick up and work through, point, if they're interested a book? Do you have a book you just with and you find that they're read it? My favorite one to recommend of Tomorrow. Because, I mean, I've probably the most, and I don't book. I think they're all great speaking to, but just not the history of central banking. And so putting in perspective I try to think about as well.

It's like looking at things mirror. And sometimes I think people and they understand, yeah, But then they find bitcoin and of hope. That's an example of this And I try to pitch any sort of And so it's just. It's a bit of an inversion of I don't know, let's do than bitcoin, like AI. A lot of people, just because or whatever, they just have a view of how these things could And I think if we just can things actually help you and in new and innovative ways and you confined or whatever.

Transitioning from Bitcoin to AI

Question number four. Is this beyond Bitcoin? What's a resource, tool or idea? It's been helpful to you or It's a good transition into AI. And so two. Actually, it was three years a bitcoin mining company. And this was right when LLMs the scene. And we started to just how we were working. We did that for a few years, company, a lot of it is built an AI company. I think AI is going to change products, and it will be a businesses that should not be overt.

That's very similar to how I And since we were all work on this new company, it's come out as an extension of ethos who is building those And so we were just naturally bitcoiners. We were naturally working with And so once we started to work We use those and we utilize the day, they're the best tools. And so, yeah, that's, that's I think there is a little bit In the bitcoin space because in it, maybe overinvested in it.

There is a lot of hype, and once you actually start to use them, it's pretty insane what So now we have our final, what question. And it's this. As a general life principle, Why not? And so to me, this relates to versus techno nihilism conversation. Asking why is a nihilistic question. It's like, why do anything? Why should I have to do this I'm very. I'm very much a proponent of entrepreneurialism. I know you are too.

I think that is very from and onset, just adopting life savings into it, in some move in and of itself. You have to have conviction. And so I like to look at And so I have to go with, why not?

Introduction to Bubble FM: A New Era in Podcasting

Well, Kaz, we're here today to Bubble FM. It's a podcasting 2.0 app, but you're bringing to Bubble that interested to hear about. So if you would just share it came to be, as well as some bringing to people's Absolutely. So we are Bubble. Bubble FM is the domain. We are a new podcasting beautiful to experience the perspective, and we make that And so we actually didn't podcast app, even though ago, right. Whenever Nostr was really it was the day Jack Dorsey I'd made an account.

I had heard of it before that, And again, I approach most perspective. And so started digging into in my slack and I was like, If you can do nostr plus new tag systems, you can And this was like in December And so we were working with This was just a crazy bad idea. And we had no intention of about last summer. My business partner, Storm, are from Oklahoma. The Oklahoma City Thunder is here. And so he was interested in summer.

And he was like, man, I wish I podcasts are saying about search myself. And so we had been building different business at this point. And so we were like, this AI to analyze transcripts, to you can find new clips and you in a particular community. And our take on communities And so that kind of played It's like in some ways you're or maybe you only get in a and then maybe it's difficult a feed, your Twitter feed, and of content and you get that you're not trying to see.

And so we wanted to build an something to people that them to see the information to the clips.

Which is one of those features enables virality and audience, is the ability to across media that links that was said and maybe a And so the original product And so we now have 120 of We have one for Bitcoin, one markets, tons of different And we'll be able to build And you can subscribe to these version of it and get anything And then we also have a 2.0 And so you can go from reading then listening to this new across new content.

So the primary experience, It sounds like it's the Weekly it, you read through it, and to a podcast if the clip was Is that correct? That's correct. Yeah. That's awesome. I think it's a really cool You know, a lot of. A lot of podcasters, maybe I've heard people, you know, on the front page, so to Great discoverability, virality. That doesn't really exist in So I feel like this is a are talking, basically being One of my curiosities as a How do you actually get into a digest? Is it.

If whatever the theme is, if they happen to have transcripts and you've just your clip gets pulled. What does that look like? How does AI, I'm guessing, is How does the AI determine

Exploring AI in Podcasting

So that's built into our AI prompts, which is a little Sometimes, in our first And so we built those prompts these transcripts. And so it was a. Okay, here's a synthesis of this past week. And then the clips were And so as you're reading the a paragraph to read about it, and they give additional And so there's a bit of a We have lists built on the and we curate them and collect our system. And we don't really. It's not like we're sitting one.

That's part of the magic is and sometimes contrasting elements to build. Here is what you want to on how building the prompts And so if it's bitcoin, like, that we're looking for, and that makes sense. Yeah, I think it's really cool. So how Long is the. The weekly digest, and then daily basis or is it kind of you catch up with all the So right now it has six key 15 minutes to read through the But the clips are all And so you can go in there.

Some of them may have a 30 of them may be closer to five minutes. You can pull those clips into a walk. You could listen to those like it is one podcast all together. And so you get all of your get to have a picture of what What I think is a little creates a way for podcasters off of other people's shows. And so I directly stole this Who Built Podcasting 2.0. And I loved how the no Agenda and then they would. Their show is pretty much them and making fun of it.

And so as a podcaster, you You could go in there and you you could say, okay, well, I'm a show and comment on top of bitcoin space this week. That's really interesting. Would there be a possibility bubble? I guess it would be a sub geopolitics, bitcoin, college Is there any of that is that too complex? Because there are additional on the back end that the team We're actually moving towards And so when we set out to in mind.

It was proving that we could it look and feel like we want And it doesn't sound like it's that. And so but now we're moving I'm not sure if the audience There's a lot of talk about AI agents. And so the last paradigm, prompting, you had some So, like, context windows of cutoff days. And at the end of the day, it facilitate something out of And so now with agents and reasoning and memory and goals act somewhat autonomously with the generative AI system.

And so you can still have a but allow it to make its own you define for it. And so, all that being said, yes, you'll be able to create to pull and create bubbles And so instead of just here's podcasts in bitcoin, it will mentions bitcoin. Maybe it's Joe Rogan and he's but he may have a two minute And so right now the bubble once a week, but we are very And so you'll just have a day based on the latest information.

And so it won't be like fully ever changing data based on Yeah, so we had probably about a little bit more than a Open Agents on talking about

The Evolution of Podcasting and AI Integration

And obviously we're talking point in time and sort of how a lot of people's concerns So I think people are of individual agents, and I hear what you guys are doing I'm curious to know, you've mirror element. How does something like bubble world? Yeah. So I would start the And so if we originally look was meant to be just like anybody could use and share And now with podcasting 1.0, of this narrative as well.

The big companies have also now, like Spotify for the creation around some of And so, I mean, these chapters that carousels throughout the with your audience in real So these things should be use, but they're also end. And so I like to look at AI as And so I had a podcast back in I'm very familiar with the your RSS feed and your Especially if you have a to highlight your guests, you these links. And sometimes I was catching an hour, and it took me just To make the description look good.

And so since we started this AI, it's pretty trivial for us build summaries in real time. And then since we also have in there without you having to And we don't want you to have and aggregating all of their because podcasters and guests have a profile that they can share. And so that's one of the this is, and we were talking show started, of how difficult And so part of this podcasting podcasters and guests to see facilitate a booking on a show. And then you can see a profile that I went on.

Here's my company information, And then we share this back So we get it to a point where us an MP3 file. Their show looks beautiful in They have a tag for their auto populated. They have rolling transcripts sort of automate some of these we tap you right into the And so, like, we're not trying these things should be open.

And so these things will all all the other 2.0 apps to take And so I think it's somewhere actually has transcripts in We need to make that number Like seeing a floating Star be a normal interaction and this static, you know, people don't look at. A lot of podcasters spend all most people don't even look at And so how do we turn that a show, publish it through our platform? Because we'll have hosting and MP3 and then within two to injected in their RSS feed. They didn't have to do anything.

And then we'll give them some are auto generated in their their podcast to X. And so just new and innovative some of this generative AI and Excellent. Well that's exciting for me to will probably be a number of have podcasts and so hopefully Are those features available future?

Introduction to Bubble FM and Podcast Services

So we are very close to Services, the Podcast 2.0 out there. You can come on, you can I think it'll be next week beta test for podcasters and platform will be rolling out So I'll definitely be sending I'd love for you to come just for us for sure. And so I want to get back to up today. So right now it's kind of in FM and that's B U B B L FM and bubble for free. Additional Bubbles I think what you think people should Or is it as simple as signing checking out the digest every Week.

Yeah, I would say definitely I One of the chicken or the don't really know what the until they can see it and So we made the first bubble free. This is a bitcoin podcast, so the financial markets bubble. And then once you have an into the podcast player, being able to create clips, But if you don't have an subscribe to a podcast. It will kind of lack that podcast apps are like that. It's tied to an account. You can still listen, though.

So if you just want to go an account to just go listen Yeah. And one thing that's really that you have an example of Like there's an image of a scrolling through so you can. You can get an idea of what it I feel like that's really helpful. I think what you're doing is great. I'm interested to see how it in testing out Bubble for myself. Kaz, do you have any final You've kind of already given a reissue that as well. Yeah, I would just say check me on Twitter. That's cool as well at btc, Kaz.

And the only advice I would a white mirror. Technology is not inherently bad. It's how we build technology, that is how we use it. And so if we can build confined to usage in a way part of what bubble is, is things you care about without And so we want to deliver that And the last sort of product building a podcast search engine. And as well. And so since we have all these and everything, we vectorized And so very soon we'll be able type into a chat and say hm, about opctv?

And then it will connect you And then once we have the and stuff, it will help you. Basically give you a way as a who is a guest that might be and then you can search in a profile on Bubble, you'll be and book them on your show. Very cool. Well Cas, thank you so much It's been a pleasure. Thanks Josh. Well friends, it's a wrap. Thanks so much for listening Coinization Show. If you want to reach out to links down in the show notes. And check out Bubble FM if content for your favorite topics.

As always, keep building, keep living and leading well.
