Episode description

In light of last week's events, we're re-releasing this episode from March of 2019. -- Max and Allison discuss two women who shed light on the world around them. The first, an investigative journalist and relentless civil rights advocate, became, arguably, the loudest anti-lynching crusader in US history; the second, a doctor and one of the first women ordained as a methodist minister, was a leader of the national suffrage movement in the United States: Ida B. Wells and Anna Howard Shaw. Intro and Ad Music: BenSound.com Logo: Lauren Cierzan Max: @QuirkyTitle Allison: @AllisonHPowell
