You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from KFI AM six forty KFI AM six forty Handle Here Morning Crew on Thursday morning, October thirty one. Halloween Tonight, coming up at eight thirty. I'm gonna give you the history of trick or treating and it's kind of fun where it came from and what's going on, and maybe some personal stories around here, and that's gonna be just fun. Joe Larsguard at eight o'clock. Now, I want to talk about

what's going on next Tuesday, the general election. And as was well anticipated, the Republicans, especially Donald Trump, is already claiming fraud, already claiming that if he loses, the election is rigged. He cannot lose without a rigged election. He says that the only free election in this country is if he wins, and he's got a whole lot of people. This is where the detractors of Donald Trump are saying that he is a risk to the democracy of this country.

Here's what Basically the reason is the one that resonates to me in a big way. I mean the personal stuff. I don't like him because as an individual and I find him I don't think he is fit personality wise, moral compass wise to be the president. But the argument that he is a risk to democracy makes sense because

of what Trump and his followers have done. So many people in this country do not believe there are fair elections anymore, that our democracy is gone, and elections are the most secure we have ever had because of the backlash of these attacks. The elections are the safest, the most secure we've had in the history of the United States. Yet they are rigged. And I'll tell you where it's

really coming down ground zero in Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania is a make or break and whoever wins Pennsylvania probably wins the presidency. So let's look at some of the posts and some of the conspiracy theories that are now flying around. Nuns in Erie, Pennsylvania are being accused of perpetrating voter fraud. Nuns, there is a suburban Philadelphia election line snaffoo. There was a line snaffoo, and that's being amplified across the world. Under half an hour and on Tuesday a rally, Trump

declared quote, they have already started cheating. In Lancaster, Pennsylvania and across Pennsylvania, local and state officials are warning that Trump and his supporters calling into question the integrity of the election already is a huge risk. And this is before a single ballot has been counted. As I said earlier before the election, one hundred and thirty lawsuits have

already been filed. I mean, it is devastating, by the way, as far as the rigging of the previous election, when Joe Biden won and still the majority of Republicans, seventy four percent of Republicans still believe it was rigged. My question has always been to them, how did those lawsuits get past sixty four judges? How did that work? The Democrats are that smart? How did they convince every single government, every single state government, fifty of them to certify the elections.

Are the Democrats that smart? And if they are, we'll stop right now. We've got Kamala Harris as president. I'll tell you right now. If the Democrats are that smart, of course they're not. Republican Secretary of Pennsylvania, the top election official, Al Schmith, Republican Republican really conservative, said in the previous twenty four hours, there have been several widely disseminated videos that were out completely out of context or

were outright lies. Here's the quote. Sharing social posts filled with half truths or even outright lies is harmful to our representative democracy. That's the issue where the risk to our democracy is. And he added, voters should get information from trusted sources. Well, let's trusted sources. The Internet info wars. That's where trusted sources are. The major news outlets are not trusted, the major networks not trusted, the major newspapers

not trusted, the major services reuters not trusted. That's the problem. You have to go from trust to sources. And there's no such thing as trust the sources anymore. Mainstream it doesn't exist. And that's Trump. That is Trump. And I don't care what side of it is you're on. You tell me that Trump did not start this. He absolutely did. And Schmidt as other authorities are worrying that the attacks

will erode faith in our system of representative governments. And of course it's setting the stage for some really fierce like legal challenges after the election, much less one hundred and thirty that have already been filed, which by the way, some are legitimate. That's the problem. There are some legitimate lawsuits that have been filed attacking the voting process in very technical issues. But now that's expanded to fraud is

happening all over Pennsylvania, widespread fraud. It's being rigged by the Democrats. Why wouldn't it be why do the Democrats only rig this? By the way, why woudn't the Republicans rig the election? Two to go making sure that Trump wins. Republicans are honest and Democrats are They're, you know, all dishonest, including the Republican election officials, which at least there are at least half of them are Republican. Democrats have convinced

them to rig the election. I would think that some Republicans would argue that asking the Democratic officials to rig the election for Kamala Harris, but that does not happening. That doesn't exist now Pennsylvanian and the argument that the election has been rigged already by the Democrats. Trump has already said that it is a rigged election, and one hundred and thirty lawsuits have already been filed, and now

keep in mind that's before Tuesday. After Tuesday, you're going to see hundreds more filed, but only in battleground states and only in counties where Trump loses, and in those counties it is rigged. That's not to say it's not rigged all over the country, but it doesn't. You wouldn't file a lawsuit in a county where it didn't matter

or Trump had won. And it's really tough Pennsylvania. By the way, he had one of the most the biggest number of lawsuits in twenty twenty, but that occurred afterwards. And by the way, as I've said, every single one of those was deemed frivolous by the courts. Lawnie lost his law license because of his lies. John Eastman, who was responsible for that ridiculous attempt or argument that Mike Pence could stop the election by failing to count the votes.

He lost his law license, and they're looking at criminal I don't know if he's been indicted yet or not. I have no idea. And so here's what's going on. This is a quote on truth Social that happened Wednesday morning, yesterday. Pennsylvania is cheating, getting caught at large scale levels rarely seen before, and demands an immediate law enforcement intervention. By the way, foreign operatives are also playing a role in this.

In the Pennsylvania issue, for example, there is a recent footage, viral footage showing a person destroying mail in ballots, obviously destroying Trump ballots. That's a given, and that was a hoax created by Russia. Russia wants to see disruption in the United States. And so you have a lot of claims in Pennsylvania circulating on x There's an election integrity community launched by a pack that was created by Elon Musk, and it's for people to share suspected fraud. There's one

that's gone crazy Alex Jones, right conspiracy theorists. And there is a report of a bus of non English speaking citizens fast tracked to the front of voting lines. In the meantime, there is no voting at this point other than mail in. I don't think polls are open in Pennsylvania yet. Conservative activists Scott Presler shared a video an official speaking at a public meeting about a batch of last minute voter applications and here is and those should

be investigated. Well, guess what the district attorney did investigate and say none of those were fraudulent. The point is, these allegations are being investigated and the election officials are doing their job. So here's what's happening. You have Trump supporters arguing, here's fraud. It should be investigated. This is the Elon musk, It should be investigated, leaving out that it was investigated and deemed legitimate. Okay, I don't even

know what to do with that. Now, there was a question, legitimate question, a complaint about county workers in Bucks County closing down the line too early, and it raced across social media, and of course, and it was investigated, and Buck's officials said it was a miscommunication because people lined up to apply for on demand mail ballots briefly told they could not be accommodated because the lines were too long,

and they got all of the votes in. They got their ballots, and of course the argument is they couldn't get them, and leave out the fact it was investigated and they did get them. Now, there's also an investigation of twenty five hundred possible fraudulent voter resident registration applications that was submitted to the election board. The workers notified there were irregularities as in boxes were not checked off.

I am an American citizen and they're checking if those boxes are not checked off, which are not allowed to count those votes, and so now there's a question of was that simply a minor problem where the vote should be counted? There's a lawsuit going on and are should they be counted? Should they not be counted? And that is I think a legitimate lawsuit. But those votes have those ballots have been segregated while the investigation is going on. What is going on when there is a legitimate argument.

The cops are investigating, the election officials are investigating. And at this point, is there any widespread fraud? Absolutely not, absolutely not. And the one where there's any question, the investigation starts with the election officials and law enforcement. But that's widespread fraud. And by the way, what you have twenty five hundred votes right the ballots that said I am a US citizen cross it off And there is some kind of question as to even when they do

cross off. Isn't non American citizens that are claiming that they are are citizens being investigated? Why is it only the Democrats do that? No Republicans wouldever lie on a ballot. Ever, no Republicans should be counted because there are none that do that. Only Democrats are cheating. It's that crazy, and the fear is that our election process and doesn't matter how safe it is, it doesn't matter if Trump loses. It is rigged. And you're going to see Republicans all

over the country who have lost. They're going to go forward with that Mantra, governor of Arizona last time out, who lost to a Democrat. Right, the Democrat, the Republican candidate rigged election. I should have won. Well, you didn't have the votes. It doesn't matter. It was rigged why I lost the election. Oh god, it is so scary. I hate that. Hate that, hate that. All right, Uh now I want to move to what's going on with the Supreme Court. And the reason I'm doing that is

because no, you know what, Yeah, here's what. Yeah, the Supreme Court. What's going on with the Court? I'm sorry, I was a little confused about what topic we're going to do. And let me tell you the numbers. First of all, we start with the number of Supreme Court justices. We have nine, by the way, that's not in the constitution. We get a many as we want. Nine actually was created in the eighteen sixties. Before that, we bounced around

with numbers and the Supreme Court. Here's what's wrong with it. It's a lifetime appointment, and it's not supposed to be political. Because it's a lifetime appointment. These Supreme Court justices should not be influenced by politics. Going backwards and forwards, I think those days are still here gone. You tell me that the three last justices that were appointed by Trump, which by the way, is totally legitimate, are not politics, were not involved, and the overturning of Roe was not involved.

Of course it was. Now people and liberals are up in arms. Oh my god, it's political. It's horrible. It's terrible. Read the constitution. President nominates, Senate confirms, and if you have a president of one party and the Senate of the same party, you have a confirmation. Bitch and moan all you want, because there were times when the Court was insanely liberal, when you had Thurgood Marshall, when you had William O. Douglas. Douglas put on the court, I

mean you talk about First Amendment. I've told this story many times. There was a case or cases of pornography and Douglas and they showed those films to the court to look at what was pornography and what wasn't. They actually had screenings in front of the Court of Porno. Douglas wouldn't even go. I don't care. It's all protected

by the First Amendment. Third, Good Marshall, the first black Supreme Court justice, who was a lead attorney in Brown versus Board of Education, he would always go because he just happened to love Porno and he would be running to the place where they screened those And by the way, that was that was that came out of the Brethren, a book that Woodward and Bernstein wrote, which I believe every word of it because they're the ones that broke

the Watergate case. And so the court is political, and the problem is that usually the justices are nominated and confirmed in their fifties. So when a president cident makes a nomination, when a president nominates and it's confirmed, that goes on for thirty or thirty five years. The legacy of Donald Trump is not going to be his presidency. The legacy is going to be that he put three justices on the Supreme Court who are insanely conservative. But

that is his right, that is the Constitution. I don't like those three justices. I'm in favor of Roe v. Wade, but you know, how much pitching can I do about that? Is there a way to undo all of that? Yeah? The argument which makes sense to me. Justices have twelve year terms. That's it. And then then that space is re nominated. And if you're going to have a Democrat, as far as it goes now, you're going to have a liberal justice. If you're going to have a Republican,

it's going to be a conservative justice. I mean, is that an answer? Yeah, it is. So the only thing in the Constitution is we have a Supreme Court nominated by the President, confirmed by the Senate, and interpret the law of the land. By the way, that was up in the air too. Did you know that until eighteen oh three that established the power Supreme Court case called Marbury versus Madison. That's just a fact that is completely useless that I just wanted to throw in there. Asked

me what I had last night for dinner. I don't have the foggiest notion. Asked me what our last segment was. I don't know. But you can look up Marbury versus Madison and you'll see the powers of the Supreme Court delineated. Okay, here's what companies are doing, and that is they're firing people for little, tiny infractions. Now, you wouldn't think if you steal a package of paper clips, for example, can a company fire you for that? Absolutely, that's cause you

take a credit card. I mean that one's a little ridiculous. But there's some real stuff happening made up for a meta. Employees were fired for spending twenty five dollars meal allowances allowances for their own stuff buying at Kroger. Now you take an employee and do you fire him for that as opposed to just writing him or her up? You bet when you want to get rid of that employee. Why are they doing that, I'll tell you why. They can lay off that employee unless there's a contract, or

unless there's some policy, you can be laid off. But that means that there's some financial issues going on with the company. And all of a sudden, you have the market, you have customers looking at there's something wrong here, or business goes down, or because of the pandemic, there was that incredible rush afterwards to hire everybody, and all of a sudden, we got too many people here. So do you fire them? No? Yes? Do you lay them off? No? No?

You fire them for cause, because that is legitimate, that has nothing to do with how good your business is doing or not. And that way you get unwanted in employees. And by the way, when they file for they file for unemployment, firing for cause they don't collect unemployment. What is cause, well, stealing paper clips, maybe that's cause because you've stolen from the company or meta for example, taking your twenty five dollars meal allowance and spending it for

stuff other than meals. There is a company that is a real interesting company called payhowk and Payhawk. What it does is pay attention to companies who hire them and for example, credit cards for lunch. If they go over a certain limit, immediately they're declined and the company is told and in real time they can say no in the company. They don't have to walk, They don't even have to worry till at the end of the month

when the report is made. It happens right now. So and this is happening more and more and more for small, tiny, little infractions, because it makes sense. It's not the infraction per se, it's all the financial reasons reasons around it. So here at iHeart, I don't know of anybody who's been fired for stealing. There may be, and it depends, obviously on the level of stealing. I will tell you that when I took pencils and pens and paper clips,

no one boy bothered me. When I set up my office my home studio, and I walked out the door with microphones, equipment, speakers, computers, no one bothered me. Uh but that's iHeart good place to work. They're not going to screw with you. Neil you ever come on, I've seen you walk out with monitors and no one cares. Yeah, right, yeah, I mean I'm looking at my microphone right now. You know how they engrave. You know the name of the company.

You know there it is iHeartMedia right there on the microphone. I didn't get fired. The point I'm making, obviously, is it makes a whole lot of sense for a company that wants to get rid of someone, a company that wants to contract employees, and the best way to do it, as far as the company is concerned, is to not lay them off, fire them for cause on stealing and stealing can be any number of things. Meals at the office.

If you're working late and all of a sudden you're spending too much, or you're taking the meal later on after you go home. And also there's a real effect on the company's remaining employees, and they're looking at a coworker being fired for spending thirty five dollars instead of twenty five dollars. And one of one person who was

fired described it this way. It's like you're driving down a street every day with a thirty mile per hour speed limit and no one bothers you, and you're driving thirty seven forty miles an hour regularly and nobody cares, and all of a sudden, one day you're pulled over and you get a ticket, and the cops all of us sudden, are nailing you for But you didn't bother

me yesterday. You've seen me go across here the entire year. Well, you know, in the case of the cops, we have to make our quota and you happen to be there by the way. The police will say there's never a quota. You know that, don't you. They say that doesn't exist. And do I believe the police, you know, I'm so pro cop, not a chance. I think there are quota systems up and down, the system up and down. The police hierarchy. All right, guys, we're done with that, all right.

I just wanted to throw that at you, because paper clips don't steal them around here. By the way, Neil, you were in management here for a while. Okay, what was the policy was there if you take paper clips or pencils or whatever sort of You know, I understand if you steal there's obviously you can be fi eric for cause. But how much did they enforce it while you were in management? How much did you enforce it?

Speaker 2

I don't recall a whole lot of thievery. I think probably around the pandemic, some toilet paper went missing.

Speaker 1

Yeah, okay, by the way, but good point.

Speaker 2

I don't remember, you know, any any cases were large enough to to react to.
