It's a Wonderful Life

This 1946 classic is set around Christmas and follows the life and story of George Bailey, played by James Stewart. He's a good kid, who grows up and seems to put everything and everyone before himself, until it reaches breaking point. A guardian angel appears to show him things from another perspective.
