Gallipoli

The 1981 story of Gallipoli was a school trip movie for Stephen Fenech, while Trevor Long has never seen it. This is less a story of war and more a story of the mindset of a nation and its citizens in wartime. Nothing we can relate to today. A very young Mel Gibson before his rise to fame stars and brings a sombre mood and reflection to us all as we watch it today around ANZAC Day. With thanks and respect to the service men and women who put their lives before ours today and in the years before now.
