Episode description

Anna Runkle is the creator of the Crappy Childhood Fairy YouTube channel and blog and leads online courses and weekly live calls teaching people to recognize and heal the adult symptoms of childhood PTSD to transform their relationships, career and health.

Anna's work is focused on calming dysregulation and other trauma symptoms and changing self-defeating behaviors that are common among people who have lived dysregulated and traumatized for much of their lives. Her work is based on research and personal experience in healing her own trauma and 28 years of working directly with the men and women who seek to learn her methods.

In this episode we're talking about how childhood trauma and PTSD show up in the workplace -- in yourself and others -- and how to cope with it.

What you will learn ...

  • Strategies for middle managers with some level of trauma who are in high stress roles
  • What dysregulation is, how it manifests at work and what you can do to calm it
  • How to identify dysregulation in your colleagues and bosses -- and why it's important
