Sometimes, putting all of your thoughts into words can be overwhelming. Using some sort of coding system can simplify the communication process.
Just like a stop sign tells us to stop, a symbol or code can tell us something about our mood or feelings.
Police have been using codes to symbolize crimes for how long now? I recently learned that Colorado stores use colors as codes, too.
