Hold on, hold some special right you know? Ship welcome, come, come to the Alert Show, the one to know me, not save you in some people more exact when your baby solo. This is the Faller Alert Show. What's happening? Valid Nation? We are back with another episode. It's me, your host. I kept your march, you know with the homies. Hey man, it's the kid Ferrari Simmons and it's your girl solo. Sorry, Sue, how y'all doing? Uh? Soon? Decided
to leave me today and do the morning show. We ain't gonna give the credit of the Morning show, but if you want to hear, Rory and Sue should be back on my show. I guess the following day, uh Rory and Sue at the six pm streets Now for five Outside of that, everything's been cool besides this pok as punk as college. Yeah a pilot? Man, I hate you man? Okay, well hold on, let me address the
share addressed brother. I was being a team player. I got the call last minute asking if I could fill in, and I said, all right, you know what I'm gonna do that. You know, because Fari Simmons is amazing. He can hauld the Afternoon show Down he got, but you know, the morning show that needed me. So I said, hey, I am okay, alrighty now let's get into in case you missed it. You alright, Charlotte, case you missed it. We want to send our prayers out to Dia mix man.
He's suffering a jug overdose last Friday and uh man, he's in a coma right now in the White Plains, New York. If y'all know me, y'all know, I'm a huge DMX fan. I can't remember what episode when I broke down by the chicken. What this chicken wanted to run? If I'm a creepernick coming through God, you know gone. When I met it, she had a star side seven man. I was the biggest DMX fans still is. I actually
had a chance to DJ for him. He popular at the club eleven forty five a couple of weeks ago, and he was chilling until I started playing from New York vibes. I played in New York music. It was one of the highlights of my life. UM leaves, DMX. We just hope you can pull through this. Um I heard it's not looking good, so you know, I'm just thinking about the good times, and I'm thinking about one of my favorite He's one of my favorite New York rounds.
You know, I'm from the South but definitely have love for a lot of East Coast rap and DMX was one of the main people for me growing up that I loved his music and I still do. Yes, what's crazy is y'all know his family held a candlelit vigil outside of you know, the hospital where he is, and they actually played a prayer that he said that he
um on the loudspeaker for him to hear it. And I just couldn't imagine being someone that is having this outer body experience and like hearing myself in prayer in real time, like it's actually happening. Like it was so eerie, to be honest with you, Um, it was very eerie. But I do hope that he pulls through. He's getting a lot of love from the community, and I really hope that he feels it because he deserves to be here. You know, he deserves to fight one more time and
I really hope he gets that opportunity. So UM, shout out to all the people that have gone out to show him support. I mean, the rough Riders went through and and did their ride their pull up. I am really concerned because I read today that he was actually um. He tested positive for COVID while in the hospital as well, And I'm just like, lord emergencies, Like how much can he fight? How much any fight right now? So I'm I am really pulling, hoping for him, hoping that he
pulls through. So DMX, we love you and we wi you the best. Yeah, Man, DMX is definitely a preacher man. He would go from rap to preaching man um. Yeah, prayers up for him and prayers up for Paul Pierce because ESPN has fired this gentleman um shortly after a viral Instagram video that y'all see the video of all the girls in the back. Yeah. Now, the catch staff for me is whose house was he at? Was he at an NBA owner's house. Was he at a comrade
from ESPN's house. Was he somewhere with somebody also important and decided not to switch and just took the fall for it. But I didn't know that he was in California because he was burning up the good weed, which just legal my might might have been some guerrilla glue. That's the new strand that's kind of lit out here in these streets. Uh, Paul Pierce, thank you because you are now at the cover of Rory Talk volume for the volume eight. Um, I got the graphic coming out
real soon. I didn't see nothing wrong with it, but I will I will say professionally, Uh, Disney owns ESPN, and there is a code of conduct um, and these people who work for them have to sign that. UM. Of course you just signed when you get an application. Of course you just show Yeah, five years cool. Now. They did say if he hadn't released it, then it would have been different, it would have been a different story. But since he actually was on live himself, that was
the big problem. You could clearly tell he was high. Yeah, and he's been with the network ESPN for three and a half years. He's featured on the NBA Countdown and the Jump Listen. I think there has to be some type of separation between what people do professionally and what they do their personal life. I think some stuff is just like, okay, it's overkill, Like we'd just legal where he's at. It's about to be legal damn near everywhere
within the next few years. Okay. Um. We we're definitely seeing an uneven playing field when it comes down to weed Um the scrippers. I mean, I get it. You know, he's working for the mouth. I get it. He's ultimately they're working for the MOUs. But I don't know if he should have got fired. I mean, it's not like it was you know, domestic violence, like rape, Like it was him enjoying part of some of America's favorite past time. In my opinion, he fired damn brom like, yeah, gotta fire. Listen,
weed and strippers. It sounds like he was in Atlanta, Okay, he fired from someone who enjoys the same thing, like come on, man, well look and well at least he was in the house and not at a public place, because you know, it's a lot of you know, it could have been a whole different story. Who knows whose house he was that because he wasn't at his I'm not sure. But ladies and gentlemen, I'm gonna keep this in case you missed it kind of short because we
do have a jam pack show for you today. But before we get out of here, uh, I want to give you some COVID nineteen updates. Now, a new strand of COVID nineteen has been found in California. It's called the double mutant. It was first appearing in India. Uh. The evolvement strand is known as the double mutant since it has two mutations and the virus that helps lock into cells. Now I'm trying to figure out, is uh the vaccine that everybody has already been taking gonna help
this or you? No? No, it's barely been proven to help. But it's up as to damn help girl, how to hell with all help some ship. No, the answer is no, first of all. So solo, yes, yes, just so you know, nobody's arms has been falling off. Okay, now, yeah, it takes. I'm just letting you know. It's just like blue shot. Guys, you get a flu shot twice or twice a year when you go to the doctor. Okay, when we go to your doctor feed check up, she's going twice yere.
I hope some of y'all last go twice a year. That little that's a whole another episode. Mother, need to go to the doctor, especially African American man. Like I said a couple of episodes ago, I need to get that guy. Damn fo the ye old check when they you know, have you taken it yet not yet, Okay, I thought you you're talking about Wait, I'm out. Mr Ali gott me after we have to finish this life
insurance thing because she's nervous, so I gotta. Once I finished his life insurance situation, which I think is done, I'm gonna go ahead and goddamn. You know what I'm saying, get the shot shot. You know what I'm talking. But listen all I'm saying. It's a flu shot. You get a flu shot twice a year. It's gonna be another flu shot or another COVID shot that's gonna come out again that you'll be it will be availed up for us to take the same thing with COVID, same thing
with the flu shots. And keep in mind Ferrari, Ferrari, fer the flu shot has been texted for a long time, that that was really really really tested. The shot out. Still get the fluid, just not an aggressive version of it now COVID. That scene came out overnight. I just think more so this is now knowledge for us to like people who don't haven't been paying attention to things like this. This is normal. The CDC has always been around,
They've always been making public statements. You just we just chose not to know the West no virus all the other ship Ebola, it was a similar situation. Well, it's unclear if the kusky Gi experiment. Well, guys, it's it's unclear if the code, if the current COVID nineteen variant is more infectious or immune to the coronavirus vaccine. But the infectious disease specialist shin Home claims that it's logical that it will be. So we will see before we hop out of here, guys, I'm gonna take the sue
solo real quick. You got a quick update on Ethiopia or no, there's definitely updates on Ethiopia. The genocide and Tivi's still happening. Um. There has still been major telecom outages, meaning it's very difficult to get people on the phone, email, text, video, none of that. We're unable to get direct contact most of the time. My mother actually, um fell ill. She's she's okay, she's going better, but there's no access to medical there's no access to bank accounts, work, Um, she
at travel outside of her town. Um. The attacks are very much still happening. We are getting much a little more coverage in the media lately. Um. As most of you guys may have heard, The Weekend recently donated a million dollars to help feed people that have been displaced. Um. You know, Nail meccampbell has been talking about it. It's been on CNN, and actually the unelected Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Abby Akhmed, who is the root of all of this,
is actually starting to admit to war crimes you know, happening. However, he's not taking responsibibility peace, blaming it on Eritrean soldiers. However, he allowed air Tran soldiers to be there. Um, so basically has been completely locked in between you know, the southern part of Ethiopia and Eritrea because it's right there at the northern border of Ethiopia. So that fight is still happening. We still need attention, UM. Please check about
hashtag stop form too right. You can follow me on Instagram at underscore too slow to keep up, and make sure you follow this other page at to go to central um where. Really it's just a page that I recently created to kind of put a little extra light
on this. But I want to come at it from a place of love, you know, I think what I'm starting to realize this is there's a lot of Ethiopias history that I don't know and that I'm learning now, and I'm realizing one very common thing is revenge typically comes from a hurt place. So for us to you know, never see things like this happened again, we all and this goes to people all over the world. This goes to the Black Lives Matter movement, it goes to everything.
We have to figure out why people are so hurt and so spiteful and want to be revengeful, and and hear them out because sometimes it just comes from a hurt place. They there were things that have happened to other ethnicities that I didn't know about, and maybe they feel like I didn't speak out you and I definitely
want to acknowledge that to the other ethnicities. Um. However, what's going on in Sigurd is it's completely obvious that the to out of people are disproportionately negatively being affected. I mean, the government is trying to clear and entire ethnicity people out. So please continue to you know, help us by you know, tweeting and just educating yourself on it. Um. The protests have been growing like Crazy d C, New York, l A, Atlanta. We just need to keep it going.
So I appreciate this platform to the Follower Show podcast for you know, providing the opportunity to talk about it and also so for Bollerler for for covering it um on the website and on social media. So I will keep you guys updated on what's going on, and the people of take that I will for them, that is a fact. Thank you for the updates to Solo. We
will continue to update you guys on this crisis. Uh. Coming up next to Solo, who we got So we actually have a super dope black owned company coming in where Brams We're going to meet the two owners of that company and just kind of tell you guys the story of how they're doing what they do because they're doing it really well. Keep it luck. We'll be right back with the Baller Alert Show. We'll be right back with more of the Bailer Alert Show. You're listening to
a special edition of The Baller Alert Show. Sorry I tell you, Mary Serai Simmons and Sue Solo. This is special cloth Alert. Hey young world, welcome back to The Baller Alert Show podcast. It's your girls, to solo and listen. It is time to highlight a black owned business that is super dope, super stylish, super fly and I just love the fact that it's a black owned baby. Shout out to the owners of Where Brams. Please introduce yourself. Co founder and my name is Tys Crush also the
co founder and Where Brams. All right, so we have Archie and we have Hides, both founders of Where Brams. Let me go ahead and get into it, like, what are y'all, what y'all doing, Why are y'all so hot? And what was popped on? What's up the b It's just based on confidence, man. Our our goal is to still unapologetic confidence and and everyone one promout time. That's
what we're based on, man. Like our pillars are faith, family, confidence, and without family, man and faith and having the ability to have confidence in yourself, we wouldn't be here right now. So we just appreciate y'all. Josh, yeah, no, now definitely, aren't you hit it on the nail? You know, we just want to make sure that everybody when we creating our product and creating our rooms, that everybody know that
we're kings and queens out here. So you know when they wear our hats, you know what, and know that you're wearing a crown and walk with your head. So basically you're saying, I should switch my this brim to your brother. Look. I was about to get to you all the way. Yeah, lookna, I was gonna get to you Friday. I was gonna let you know that we're gonna get you bram hat. You know what I'm saying, even even a baseball cat. You know, I'm saying, we
got to switch it up a little bit. Oh okay, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, we're here. Yeah, actually got one all right, now, okay cool? So how did y'all even come up with this? Like? What may jobs don't want to start making hats? I mean, yeah, I actually go into it a little bit. I think obviously, I think people don't realize that hats are so sustainable. Right that most of the had companies that bear wrongs
is the eighteen hundreds. But to be honest, there hasn't been any cool African American hat companies in the game. So for us, maybe want to change the industry and become a number one hat luxury hat company, And that's what we did. Yeah, and it's and it's crazy because a lot of people say why for doors or you know, why start there? Because most people when they started their company back in the day, I say back in the day they started company with dad had baseball caps, you know,
the regular fitteds or the snapbacks. So they were looking at us and we said we're gonna go straight for the luxury for doors, and they looked at us like we was crazy. But we wanted to create that that blueprint. You know, we didn't have that um going forward, like we didn't have nobody to look to to help guide us through that way. But we wanted to be those pillars and let let people know that you can do something new and did something different that you know it
has been done, but not by us. Y'all had some flack people in your products. Okay, I've seen you know, Eva, I've seen Karen Sybil. How is it that you're getting these products? I mean, yeah, saw that the roads it's called roads so flat it's it's us. I mean I think it's me and tag me. I think anytime we have a conversation us being authentic who we are, right, what you see is what you get us being cool. That's who we are and that reflexing to the brand.
So that's I mean, it's being authentic who we are honestly and it's real argain and you know, we want people to, you know, love what they're wearing. You know, where are you guys from? From Alanna? Yeah, I'm from really from Queens by the Way, Enterprise, Alabama. I gotta make sure of up top in the bottom. So I gotta like a mix, you know, military brat so you know, like, yeah, that's how we met, actually met. We went to school
in Alabama that could have business. You got a whole bunch of box test done about to slay pass those orders, those orders going out, orders going out. So we had these coming out going out this week. So I love to see it harder journey every day, man, coming to the office and really see your dream come to life. Look, I gotta go to the office myself. You know, I'm at the house right now, but I'm gonna be there to help get things going down to the depth. You
guys are centrally located in Atlanta. Correct, Correct? Business been um during the pandemics been amazing. We launched in Norss about a month ago and that happened or congratulations, Yeah, that relationship happened during COVID, But I think in the beginning of COVID we did a lot lot manufactured for like five months. But I think that helped us understand
the really understand the business. I understand that we had a really really loyal customer base, and that aligned us to really stay focused to really push our there too, to the next level. That's amazing. I mean, to get into a big retailer like North Nord Trump. So are you got the several locations out of this work where people we're fully online e commerce and fully online on North Shore all through the through the website. Um, but we're also located in three doors in New Jersey, Garden State,
New Jersey, Manhattan, New York, and Atlanta. You know were perimeter mam. That So what's next for you guys? What's what's what? We got to look forward to a lot more browms, a lot more color schemes, different hats, a lot more collaborations coming down the line, kind of pipeline, different things that we're working on with other projects. You know,
we wouldn't want to speak on too early. You know, we don't want to jinx it, but heavily heavy, impactful moves that we're trying to make and are you going in a little bit more? I didn't want to go too crazy. Yeah, we got two clouds coming up soon. We got to climb with our fresh hotelling mom that's coming out this month, and we also have a clap with Black Men's where it's coming out in a couple of months as well, so you don't look out for that.
I definitely want to link with y'all because I trademark my logo MA RRI hat sell whenever I sell them, I gotta um you know, customer uh face with that. So I definitely want to hit y'all about that. Yeah. The luxury, yeah right here. You know that's kind of like my star. See, hey, let's talk. Let's talks going. We can we can get the team right. Definitely team right, and we need to do an episode in the hat.
I ain't gonn hold. I was gonna wear mine, but I didn't want to shoot all y'all like that, you know what I'm saying. I was like, damn, everybody's not ready. Let me not to do that because I best my people. Let me still, you know what, I'm saying I met you, Thank you, thank you, thank you. It was really dope talking to I mean, you know, just a slight flex.
That was great to have you guys are here. We really do love you know, sharing this platform and talking to black business on the come up that have a great mission that you know, have the brand integrity that you guys have. We absolutely wishy'all the best of if we cannot wait to be outside silent and profiling wearing our where brims heads. Okay, we have thousands of thousands of listeners to so put your I G say before you get up by it. You can follow us head where brim w E A R B R I M s.

Todg Archie where Brims. Ball Alert Show will be right back. We'll be right back. Stay tuned with more of the Baller Alert Show message and we're back with the baller Let Show. You know it's one of my favorite parts of the show. It is called baller Man. Now. I told you last week. This
one was gonna be crazy. I already got like three the camp for next week. I just gotta picked the best one. This one starts like this, Hey, Rory, I got into an argument. I got into an argument with my guy friend. Does it make me a hole if I sleep with two different guys in one day? I put got you. We will discuss on baller. She says, thank you, because I ain't a hope. I just got two options to blow my back out from time to time. Well, even Johnny is always cool. I don't necessarily think that
you are a hope. Maybe you, um, you know, have two boyfriends, Okay, I don't know if that classifies you as a whole. I don't know if you didn't say that they were your boyfriends, but you said you have two guys I'd like to blow your back out now. I don't know if one is not blowing your back out enough so you need to, or maybe one is not blowing your back out to a point where you need it. All the time I've met, I've met you know, some girls that like sex more than that dude in
my time. Uh So I understand that maybe you like sex a lot, and if you like sex a lot. Maybe you should just be forthcoming with the guys that you meet and just be you know, into open relationships. I think maybe you should do it like that. I think open, be open with your relationships this way. Ain't nobody gonna judge you because you you make you seem kind of judges when you say it the way that you said it. Okay, Uh, doesn't make me a hole
if I sleep with two different guys. First of all, if can sleep with two different guys, maybe you shouldn't ask me on ball alert that question, baby, Okay, because we're gonna automatically assume and visualize you're getting blown to be back blown out at twelve pm and then you getting you back blown out again at two thirty pm. Okay, So therefore that is now are you getting paid for these transactions that that definitely, you know can qualify for you being a hope Because a pimp has holes and
they earn money and go pays the pimp. That's the definition of a whole. You can look that up and your h what's it called the dext the dictionary the name before the dictionary. I will say, just keep the baby to yourself, baby, Just keep it to yourself if you want to have sex with three guys on one day, as long as you were being safe and careful and you didn't catch no STDs, you ain't getting pregnant, and you ain't doing no drugs, and you are healthy and
you got your ship going on with yourself. I don't got no goddamn problem. Wasn't the hell you do Joe for John? Okay, I just know that you can't be my wife or somebody that I would want to be with if sex with more than one guy one day. That's just my prensonal opinion. I would just say, you know, just keep the information to yourself. Uh, because when you bring it out to the open, you bring in people to judge you. And uh, I ain't judge you, but
you're making a goddamn hard ship nothing. Uh Yeah, all I'm gonna say is be safe and do you boot it? Nothing? No, I listen to this. I'm just gonna tell you you know if you're gonna do it, because you're gonna do what you want to do anyway. You just reset, you know what I'm saying, Like take a shower, you know
what I'm saying. Maybe she took one you know, I mean we we but most of on my Instagram to chains from two chains to whoever just put laughing, and most Trouble said sound like most women to me, and I'm speaking for what I know, don't act me. And vl deck said, you're good baby with your crazy tail self. And then the baby Juice said the second guy eating all types of leftovers, damn are you well actually? And you know, but for the most one, you will definitely
call you a hole in the comments. So just go through my comments at Ferrari Simmons and read, yeah, go go through the comments, says so so you can read everybody calling you a hole. No judgment for me though, you know, yeah, uh you know, but I would be a hunted dough and just be open. It's being awful relationship. It's cool. So some people are cool with that stuff. So that's fine. I mean that ain't not that I've been in Tell just you probably somebody who just wants
to be with one person, do you safely? And well that's okay. What leads me to uh our final thoughts of the day of Brower's packer bag of free bands one time of my dog future. You know when he posts me on them, I'd get a whole bunch of followers taking future. I am part of the future, that is the mail fan based future we called the future high Uh. My thought of the day is, God Damn,
traffic is back. Traffic is back. I don't know if y'all been taking these COVID nineteen back scenes and you just think you could just be outside now, But God damn, slow your ass down, don't bring your assiut, especially Atlanta traffic. Okay, if you hear me right now and you live in Atlanta, aren't you shocked as me? At three o'clock, two o'clock, one o'clock, there's a whole bunch of cars on the
goddamn highway. Lord Jesus, I don't know if I should say prayer or just start getting real mad again, like how it used to be pre COVID. Okay, pre COVID. I was mad in traffic, and when I got to work, I was still mad. I had the goddamn almost hit the blood outside before I got on the radio, because I'd be so mad sitting in traffic, my back sweating from it being hot, and I still have on a c in the car. Traffic is back, Lord, Jesus pray
for us, especially folks from l A, Miami, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Charlotte. Damn. Traffic is back, and all I got to say is it's gonna be a how to ask summer. I hope you got a C that goes through your seats like me, because you have to turn that C a C because the C a C make your back cold. And be careful with leaving your cars out in the sun because if you've got leather, you're gonna burn. We'll see you next week. Baller Nation, Bye bye. I can't get enough
