Um quorrow with me here. You know BT's so low. Shout out oct no color what we see? Who getting rid of bula something? Oh, you can't stand on the home SUSI. I already know he can't ball with me because you have with a squad of me. They getting they called to men. Welcome to The Baller Show. Podcasts available everywhere you get your podcasts. I go by the name of Ferrari Simmons. I go by name you know bat that. How are you guys doing and what's happening

in what you've been doing? Because you got a cool job. I got an ap b out for a bout. Wow, I got an ap b out for bout our clippics up, Octavia. We're gonna send it to him. Let it bring your ass on the next episode of The Baller Show. Okay, apb out for where is bout? Wow? S Marks, it's an ap b out for you. But yes, I have a cool job. Shout out the Talibama dude to Brooklyn. Johnny had had a coming to market. Move them around the city properly. And when he gets lit super lit,

of course, you know we're gonna bring him the ball alert. Yeah. I like his music man his music and Florida guy from Terror. Yeah, yeah, all right, cool, you guys ready get in the show. Let's do it, Jonathan Major's lawyer said, And it's a female lawyer. She has texts in which the alleged victim admits she's to blame and she says

she doesn't want the actor prosecuted. As we reported, Major was arrested for misdemeanor assault, aggravated harassment, attempted assault, and harassment after the woman allegedly saw another woman texting him and tried to sneak a peek at his phone. Yeah, so these text messages are allegedly saying that his girlfriend text are saying, you know that it was her fault, that she was the one assaulting him. Did you did

you see the did y'all actually read the text message? Well, the text messages that I read online said that obviously it was some strangulation going on, because how did the woman pass out? Maybe an anxiety attack? However, you could be right, I will say an anxiety attack, anxiety tech to make your best out. Yeah, but dude, put marks on your on your throat. I don't have marks on her throat, but I don't see that allegedly the police

said that that she had marks on her. I don't know, man, that's that sounds like he puts his hands on the text messages out. That's all I'm gonna say. This is not good for neither parties. Yeah, because she said that she's going to tell the police, and YO, don't prosecute him, don't charge him or whatever whatever. It's gonna affect her coins. And it's and it's like, man, woman, how did you pass out? I feel like if he if you felt like he did something, stand on it because physical violence,

domestic violence is never the answer. So but that's what happened, Say it happened. Man. This this just seems like another toxic relationship. It's very um, you know, murky water. Because you know, when you're dealing with themestic violence and stuff, people can be you know, easily intimidated. They can be afraid to come forth or retract their statements because of fear,

which is normal in domestic violence. They retract statements because then then be in vice with our unt I mean, well, I know in my family, I've been in situations to where you know, family members that are supposed to be partners getting into you know, situations, and they call the police on each other. The police get that, they're like, I don't take them to jail. Don't do it. It's like what you thought the police was gonna come there

and do hang out? You know what I'm saying, Especially somebody like Jonathan Majors, like this Scott's huge and black, so and you know she's not too so yeah, allegedly she's white. So anytime that the police is being called and they saying that a black male has been you know, aggressive,

you're going to jail. You're going to jail. Speaking about calling the authorities, the cops were called to Prevey restaurant in Memphis around eleven thirty pm Wednesday after gunfire erupted in the parking lot following a confrontation inside the restaurant that eventually spilled outside. Yo Gotti owns this restaurant. Of course, he was not in Memphis at the time of the shooting, and none of his family members are among the victims. However, two people died and a couple more were injured, and

the assailants or assailants are still on the loose. Man prayers up to the you know, the the victims and the family that you know, they got to deal with something tragic like that, you know, people losing their lives, and you know, I just don't understand, man, Like, why did every time we look up on the news is always this gun violence? Is always somebody being murdered by guns. Yeah, the sailants are still at large and the police have

not figured out what triggered the initial altercation. So yeah, it's a lot going on in Memphis, man, it really, it's always a lot going on in Memphis. One time for Memphis. On a positive note, shout out to the DJs that I know I met, I met it for a couple of people. I just want to every time I hear about Memphis, it's always something bad, Always something bad. You don't have something good going on. Glorilla just got signed with um Tommy Hill figure. Oh that's dope, and

he needed to sign somebody he like black people. Again, that's dope. I ain't buying it. I mean, I'm not buying I can't remember the last time I bought Tommy Hill figure. I don't, I don't. I don't support Tommy Hill figure. Nah. And he could say that was a you know, that's what normally happens is all these you know, brands always like that's not that's a myth. I just don't like the last name to Hill figure. Okay, Tommy Hill Figure, last name Nigger Hill Figure. Okay. Tory Lanes

wants a new trial. Guys. According to TMZ, he just asked the judge to throw out his conviction for shooting Egg in the Stallion, claiming, among other things, prosecutors tried to dirty him up with irrelevant evidence. I'm sure he does. Yeah, I bet you he do want a new trial. Uh, he's doing everything in his power to Is he in jail yet? Yes, so he turned himself in. No, when you lose you Oh so he's sentence. He's in jail. Yeah, he was out the whole time. As soon as he

lost the case, they put you away. Damn Tory, Well, hey man, this is you gotta understand. This is for shooting someone. This isn't like he's doing bank fraud or like, you know, some blue collar crime where you could go home and wait to be sentenced. But you know, if you no more because he was found guilty. So yeah, damn. I mean, and this is the same guy who sat down and could have testified, you know, or could have

you know, brown some light. If he wouldn't testified, it would have been you know, she would have had the rat emojis all on his post. How you're testifying about what happening? Cooperating? He would he would have been cooperating. Okay, Hey man, hey, you know what you might be right? That's not cooperation. Trying to clear his name. Yeah, he trying to clear his name is not he didn't He

didn't rob a bank and didn't go testify against somebody. Okay, because he had You had the friend slash ex girlfriend Chelsea go up there and say a whole bunch of nothing. Nobody said the actually what happened, That's what I'm saying. You wanted him to say exactly what happened, and that would have been him telling on somebody and putting them in jail, probably allegedly say I see what you're saying.

But I was taking it as like him going up to the stand and say, hey, this is what I didn't do it because I was doing such and such. That's what I'm where I could have been doing that. Because such and such was doing that, I couldn't have done it because then I did this afterwards. Let me ask you this for are you up? If you were torying that that instance, you wouldn't have got up and testified or tried to save your life in any capacity.

I would have never put myself in that situation. But if you, if you are in that situation, I would never be in that situation. I'm not answered. I am not answered. I would never put myself in that situation. I ain't gonna hang out with nobody. Listen, we'll put themselves in that said listen, I ain't not wrong with snitching, ain't not wrong not putting yourself in that situation either.

That is very true. But sometimes people are in very unfortunate circumstances that places them in those situations, and you know you gotta go up there and snitch. Man, Damn okay, you don't want to go to prison, you bet go snitch. Did you see what Carl Crawford from fifteen o one, um he welcomes Megan the Stallion home to Houston. Did you guys see that today? Friday three thirty one, the Queen of the hotties and the most iconic female artists of our time. I thought that was Beyonce. Um, we'll

be touching down. We want the entire community of Texas. I thought they do that for Beyonce to help fifteen O one the FI Entertainment welcome the Queen of the High He's making the stallion back to the city of Houston. And damn, she got some good lawyers. That was pretty cool. She'll be headlining the ATNT Black Party as part of an amazing twenty twenty three Ncuba March Maddis the Miami Hurricanes is in nothing. Um. And this is after he apologized to her too. That's why I said she must

have some really good lawyers. Then he put at the bottom warm regards. See called Carl first of all, Carl, what's up, bit doll? That's my dog. You know what I'm saying, Car, Carl to home. I'm saying, Carl brought Megan and staying around mean fly got DC used their two B team at the very beginning of his career, her career and were moving around. So yeah, I've actually seen the beginning of the career. This is a good

smart move by you, sir. I definitely appreciate uh, and I can congratulate you on taking a big step and posting this and letting everybody know that you were making the Stallion are not before each other for her. That's why I said she got some good lawyers, because as soon as these lawyers I felt start, you know, smashing the gas, you know, car like, hey man, let's just be friends, which I hope that, you know, they eventually

go back. I don't think that they'll ever be friends, but I think that they can probably be co workers. Man where I think when when her contract is up, she gonna be smoked. She's gonna be the first day smoke. She's gonna be out that time. Depending on how that contract look, she might bunds a lot of the things. Yeah she could. Yeah, I think that she still wants to get away from from that. And why do you think he's playing nice? Now? It's good for business. She

got some glory. It's good for business. You should be in the Megan the Stallion business. She's signed to fifteen on one, is she not? Yeah, she's signed. She signed to Carl, So through some type of configuration, she's still there. I wonder how long though, I wonder how long her contract is. I know we're gonna get the intricate details of these things need to hit the internet sometimes, but sometimes they never will because of the high power. Low I said, we need to get called and come on

to the show called apb out on called Crawford. I got his number, but you know, hey, man, sometimes these clips the Instagram matters. So go ahead and clipping this up. Oct it's a apb out for Call Crawford fifty to one. Bring your ass on the show Balling Alert Show and come talk about some things. Yeah, we need to. We need to. We need to know what's going on, what type of contract dog anyway, so you know, we can ask you all the questions that everybody else get ask

we ask you. Okay, So before we get out of case you missed it. Um, there's this thing going around. Well it's kind of solidified. Now you can buy a blue check. Oh I've been I've been saying that for eleven ninety nine a month. You can verify yourself on Instagram. Man, Now you're about to have market little cousins and uncles and aunties getting verified. And first of all, I've already been seen people verified. It doesn't need to be verified.

And let's be clear man, this blue check, it's supposed to be for people who are being in personated by other people, meaning that you're somewhat Uh, that's sure, they do. They change the color. Now, if you're a celebrity or if you're a person of stature, you should get like a purple check and then if you want to buy when you get a blue one. Twitter does gold checks. What for businesses, for big businesses, they'll have a gold check.

If you Coca Colation first tomorrow, We're gonna lose our blue checks on Twitter because April first, Twitter says that they are no longer giving out free blue checks. You gotta pay for it, don't matter if you're a celebrity. Joke, because it's doing the first. I'm eager to see. I'm eager to see it. I can't wait to see it. I don't think that they're gonna take it away, but I do think because Twitter did it first, and um, where you pay per month for Twitter, it's called Twitter

blue I believe. And then, um, a monetizing man. They getting this money by any means necessary monetizing. You're right, Country Wayne, I'm really glad that they're monetizing this blue check because, uh, for one, Instagram always denied me for getting my blue check for whatever reason. And this keeps people because I felt like it was people anyway as they had a blue check for no reason. And you know, people with blue checks always just felt like they were

just so special. You know what I'm saying, People like they just felt like they were just so special because I would meet people and uh, you know, it'd be like random independent artists that have blue checks and you're like, bro, you have you have zero streams like like you you're not You're not getting impersonated. The verification was supposed to be for people who are getting impersonated, obviously celebrities, politics, but it means something though in the social media world.

Feel that's gonna say. I feel like, if you couldn't afford it, if you're if you want to pay for it, it's your money, man. It's twel's eleven dollars nine and I sent per month. Go ahead. I mean, that's that's better than what they were talking. If it maybe you can use it to mind help monetize your your situation better. Who do the celebrities and everybody who has one already do they have to now pay or do? No? No, that we woke up and I had a Blue Chat

one time. That was a couple of years ago. Like I can't remember what year because you lit, but I just randomly had it. I didn't apply for it. I didn't even submit, no idea or nothing. I just woke up one day and I had a blue Chat mart next to my name. But for the people who are trying to pay for one, if it helps you create more money or it helps you monetize, cool, But I

don't think. I think the price point is kind of high for someone to be like, all right, cool, because like if you do, I don't think the second month it's eleven. I mean, if you got a Netflix account, why not listen? It's twelve dollars. That's cheap. Because people don't understand all these people is making a side hustle selling verifications for like twenty five hundred, five thousand and ten thousand. So people are saying like people are playing

for verifications. The people. That's somebody who I knew, somebody that was trying to say, bro, i'll pay five bands that I was like, I don't know who to point you towards. I don't know people are paying somebody. I know people that was paying the five thousand, and people like yo, BT, you should be verify fun time FEEDO. You're not paying it consistently, you might not even get it. You pay and might not get it. You're paying and you might get the climb. But that's what I'm saying.

They will give you money. Yeah, okay, yeah, but think about it if if you pay five thousand dollars one time, what is twelve dollars that's well yeah, okay, you know, think about the price margin for people who are paying that monthly fee. I mean, if it is working, if it is gonna work for you and you are going to monetize from your content, then it's gonna pay for itself. Like right now, I know one artist um who did it and they sell shoes. So I was like, okay,

it helps, it's helping them. I mean it just started a couple of days ago. But you know, we shall see. There's how much, say paying a year forty four dollars. That's that's better than five thousand, but that's lower than a Netflix account because you're paying Netflix fifteen dollars and hired you know, they probably go go to seventeen dollars. Shout out my cousin, I use his Netflix account. But I'm saying, but the extreamet platforms, it's the same, it's

around the same price. I mean, and this is actually making you money if you do it the right way. Watching you know, Netflix and all that stuff that's not really making you know money. I don't understand why people are so upset about people paying for these verifications because a lot of people that was already verified paid to be verified. And we're in a new world, We're in a new time. Things are different. You know, you have millionaires who just sit behind a computer and create for

a living. So you know this is the inevitable. Yes, agree, you can't get mad at you know, someone who created something that's people are going to spend dollars on like. And then for the people who may not understand you probably go on your Instagram or your social media for leisure. There are a large group of people that go on Instagram to make money and they monetize off of their social social media and a blue check can help them

make extra money. Hey, these days in our line of work, social social media equity is you're following how many followers you have? If you're verified, it's just good on the schematics of when your name is on the paper. Oh, if they're picking somebody for a podcast, they're picking somebody for such such. They're looking at your analytics, They're looking at your numbers. That's why you shouldn't buy fake followers. You shouldn't buy fake engagement. You should try to put

out dope content. When you put out dope content, it drives people to look at your analytics. And if you have good analytics, you'll get hired for big things. We'll be right back with more of the Baller Alert show message. It is time for baller mail. Ball Alert was popping. My baby Mama's friends make me, hella uncomfortable. We've been together for a few years and we have a son together, but I don't like her friends. They all cheat on

their husbands boyfriend their husbands slash boyfriends. One is married and cheats like crazy. The other one cheats on her dude too. My baby mama hangs with them all the time, which makes me think she will want to do the same thing. I trust her, but I don't lead y'all opinions. Please well, I mean he has a valid point. Birds of a fella, dude flocked together, not calling her a bird or you know. She may you know, have her own mind, but you know you are the company you

keep as well, so that's valid too. I do understand his concern, I can. I can't understand where he's coming from. I also think that, man, you can't let you know insecurity ruin your relationship. I feel like a lot of time us, man, we let our insecurity starts to affect

our relationships. And just because her friends do things doesn't mean that she's going to be compelled to do it too, especially if you're dealing with somebody you know that's an adult, because she could think the same thing about him, like your friends are like this, so you could potentially be like this. But what I would say is don't let

your insecurity mess up your relationship. Man. If her friends want to cheat on their husbands and do whatever they're doing, then still that was the best answer you've ever given on you. I'll add to the insecurity thing, have an open line of communication, you know, so that you can you don't know what she's thinking even if you know. But I understand this concern because what if she gets mad?

It's so easy to do wrong. You know, and it's kind of hard to do right sometimes, but you know, have an open line of communication so you know, don't go to bed angry and all that stuff because if you want pins and needles. Now, if you're all mad at each other, guys, worry, it's over, hey, big fellas, it is over. She like hanging out with her home girls at the head like working at the red Like.

I'm just letting you know now. It is a rapping ton. Hey, can get your goddamn variables together, my boy, that shit hey, yeah, insecurities at all time high, my guy, and you should said, baby, mama, is that your lady? Your your wife? You engage you ain't boy, She's gonna be around them boys. You know I'm talking about how you know she ain't She know you're already because you know, you know, the best lies on the earth is not me. It's the opposite of man.

It is the woman. I'm just letting you know right now. We do not know how to lie because usually when we lie, our lady know we lie already. We just they just waiting and gathering more evidence. Meanwhile, they'd be cheating for fifteen years and you would never know because they know how to lie, They know how to fake orgasms, they know how to do all that shit. I'm just letting you know, not big fella, as you were riding me with you with your head in your chest, that

boom boom, boom boom. It's a rap, big fella. If you are, if you're feeling that way, you feeling secured. Oh it is over ten, over ten, living single, it's over, is over ten. It's not over. It's a rat. It's gone. So don't go through a phone, and not go through her phone. He said, baby mama, Oh, baby mama, Baby mama, Me and y'all, y'all might not even stay together even together baby mama, all you said, yeah, we've been together for a few years. We have a son together. He

didn't say that was your that's your girlfriend. Said that was at my yance. Ain't said that was my wife. Many mama, that's my girl. Man, we know that's his girl. We know what. He said. They've been to wait, he said, they've been to game. He said, look, this is the thing. This is the discernment that men have when we kind of be like, oh, man, I don't like this. He said, My baby mama's friends are making me hella uncomfortable. You know how much it take for man and feel uncomfortable.

We don't be giving a damn by nothing. We like to play the game. Go to the game, play some hoops. Goddamn go out, you know, smoke a little, don't talking about hit. You know, we have a little sexual capee and got dad kicking you know what said he makes some good food. We're kicking it. But if a guy, if a guy said, I'm comfortable nigga, right, all right, that's enough. We'll be right back. Stay tuned with more of the baller alerts. Y'all um for today's pep talk. Ferrari.

You have a cool job and if you can explain it one more time and then you know, for people out there them some free game. So yeah. I am the national director of Lifestyle and Mix Show at Warner Records. I am in charge of some specific markets markets in the country. UM. I talk to programming directors at radio stations and also the DJ mixers at the radio stations. I check in. I give them our priority songs that we are spending. I asked, you know the hard questions,

that you like the song? Do you not like the song? You're gonna add it. I get to do things. I get to plan events, I get to do stuff with the station, work with the station, work with the record label. I also do lifestyle for the label. So when artists is coming in town, I curate a promo run depending on how many days that they're here, m and I just provide them with dope content, doing content, surround them around, surround them around the right people so their career can

continue to flourish. So um BT actually came to one of the events and you did a really you did a really great job. Yeah. I love how you know. You made sure the artist was introduced to all the DJ's and spoke to all the DJ's and two pictures, And I think that stuff is really important because you know, DJ's and hosts like myself, I feel like we don't really get the credit, um and we don't get introduced the proper way in the beginning, in the beginning unless

somebody needs something. And that's what I don't. I don't like that, which is why you don't you rarely go to things. Yeah, I rory No, I never go through anything like that because I don't like how the DJ's are treated. Um and you know, a big shout out

to to Ti Man. Ti. He came, he came U. He was at my R and B party last night and he came up and it was a bunch of DJ's in there because we was doing a black album released party last night, and Ti came there and he shook all the DJ hands and he said, Man, I appreciate y'all. I just wanted to show my appreciation to you guys and stuff like that. And I think stuff like that is really a port man because you know,

the DJs are you know, the first line. DJs are the first line of uh of A. They're the first line that you're gonna meet. They're the first people to believe in you outside of your your your day one, your day ones are gonna believe you. Then the next person is going to be of the DJ DJ's gonna take chances on you, and then the next person after that's gonna get a mixed show DJ. And of course it goes up to the power power chain after that.

But yeah, I just wanted to um highlight a couple of things and then my my PEP talk would be uh to stand on all ten. I think sometimes we get a little uh nervous when we have to make uncomfortable decisions. But I like to be uncomfortable. I'm actually uncomfortable today. I'm uncomfortable every day, and I feel like that keeps you sharp, It keeps you on point being

uncomfortable because you don't know what's gonna happen. And actually I just started my job and then, um, you know, I saw some people get let go, so it happens, you know what I'm saying in the line of work, and I'm over here like this person need great job,

but they got let go. So you know, I'm learning early in the game that you have to put yourself out there and if you really want something, you gotta go get it, and you have to be uncomfortable otherwise you're gonna work for somebody else who followed their dreams. You're either gonna follow your dream or you're gonna work for somebody who followed theirs. There is no in between period. Big Ron
