It's not it's not really the way I looked at it on Instagram. O don't know. I got this one little I got this little pink I called it the pink Panthers. Like it's made like tom Materials like me. It will beach tommeterius to short sleeve. But you know, I can't wear none of that. You just might can't wear it

right now. In the next hour, you may be in some beach attire. You might be looking like a damn uh igloom. It's always suffice. You never know. No, that's my joy. When I got l a I do the hoodie in shorts, I guess I got to do. Not let anyone lot to Atlanta doesn't have like Atlanta weather. We go through multiple season in a day. So just be prepared for everything. Now, what particularly that brings you to Atlanta? Do you come just for specifically for the weather.

I didn't know Billy Ellis has hit over over five Why the name Billy Ellish Billie eilishyah Ellis? I had U so I had seen this tweet one time. I was like it was this girl. I was like, I'm not a fan of Billie Eilish, but I like her just because she dressed like the franchise boys. And I was like, Yo, that's hilarious. It's true.

So so then when we was we was kind of picking our samples. UM had the record nothing by Noriega. We have flipped it already and I already had I created that idea to clock Tuck till I had. You know, so like it's match. You know Nori dressed like them. You know it's about the style, yeah, for sure, because you know for me in the South, I'm used to you know, an artist and rappers. Uh use a Caucasian person's name. It's usually associated to some other Yeah, yeah,

it's not that it's from Philly. What what's your style? Because I mean, obviously we know some Philly rappers. We have Little Oozy who is like very animated, and I watched a couple of performances that you had in its high I'm getting West Coast from you. I'm getting New York vibes. I'm like, I feel like you seem to be very well rounded just in the way that you move and perform. What is your style? I mean it's that I think I just I try to just remain me,

remain as creative as possible. I try to like really just like give people an experience. I watched a lot of James Brown performance Michael Jackson performances growing up, so I'm thinking about, like how can I be the rat version of that kind of bring them completely into my world. And then like you know, when when the lights go off and when I dropped the mic, they're like, yeah, you know what I mean, they gotta just snapped out of it. So, uh, it's really you know, it's it's

all of the above. I think it's just a lot of Philly influenced UM in a way like when it's time to be that, it's a lot of West School, it's if it's time to be that, it's you know, I kind of pulled from everything when you have a project dropping because I know, UM as I'm seeing last time you drop project was last year. Yeah, so we're looking at we're looking at the fall or like doing an actually like if they'd be released, you know, I'm assuming you have a good amount of records already. We

got some records. It was really like with this Billy Eiris record, I was like, Yo, if this work, it only makes sense for every one of the other records that we got. Following up, so we got a record on Friday called Diamond Doatllas is kind of just like a celebrational UM record that you know really just like in ten years and five years or two years. I want people to timestamping and say, yo, remember when Armani White signed with dev Cham and he used this record

as the announcement record. This is that you know, this is that record UM and you know, and then we're just rolling out what this project is going to the jam announcement hasn't been No, it happened. It happened. But it's like, you know, it's in such a close proximity to the fact that like, um, you know, like like all of this is just one big moment, like I just gave my mom a bunch of money to put

that up on internet. Like you know, I mean, like all of these things is tied together that I think people are gonna remember it in this way in a couple of years. Is social media helping your career? Is it? What kind that the numbers? I don't feel like the numbers are adding up. I feel like you should have a larger following. I feel like I should see more based off of the streams and how crazy the music is.

So how is social media actually helping? Oh? You know the thing is I think it's just like it's where social media is impacting right now. Like I don't think it's all the way opened up diyes of the culture yet, um, but like in different areas, like you know, I just did this this A lot of this stuff is problem,

you know, prominent from a TikTok. I made a TikTok in the studio and then that went viral, and then we made a follow up that one viral and viral again, and uh, you know, so it definitely impacted, like you know, went from like thousand followers two hundred thousand and went from fifteen thousand on TikTok to three d thousand, you know, and so forth. So yeah, it's definitely it's made his rounds. It's just like I think it's where it's made his rounds that it's a lot, uh you know, a lot

more specific to what you're saying. Do you feel like you have to have like a social media challenge that goes viral. Nah, I didn't have one. That's kind of the thing right now people are making songs for TikTok or social media and hope that it gives them the

result of going it's like, here's my thing. I already do a couple of flavoring things, Like I got scared, like if I came out this, I mean doing all that, it's just what I feel like, it would have just been like, oh no, this is too much of a giming, Like he's doing way too much. So yeah, I just like I kept organic, and I think that was the thing about this record is just like good music kind of cut through. Let's talk about this. You said something interesting.

I thought that was dope. Okay, your style you got you always wear bandana and feeds on your hair. Is this part of your outfit? Um? Yeah, like yeah, I started off. I it off. First artists I've heard in a very long time are one of our coworkers, like DC doesn't drink a smoke wor So, how do you get creative in

the studio? A lot of people say that, you know, they do a little something something to get their creative just slowing what works for you? What is your setup? So here's the thing I don't write in the studio. I'm wanting to people that grew up like you know, buying studio times. It was like like I had my little FIGI dollars, I come in and try and record to zones an hour. Um, so I write in the crip,

I write. I write all of my music in the career, sit down and get this creative people have to have, like instance, so I gotta have cartoons playing. That's one thing. I got cats. And when I record, I can't record with shoes on. It just don't want it takes your shoes off, and it's in the corner on the floor. Now, I wasn't here when when our DJ was in the mixed suit, would have been in that corner, sitting at home every day as soon as I wake up before I literally every day right now, I like ins to

like going that stuff though. Yeah, I had that cartoon, so we got a project coming. Um, you don't know when the fall which is going to be soon Atlanta's fall season, or Phillies falls all right now in Atlanta. It's the weird part, you know, the weirdest part of Atlanta is actually March to May. It's all here. We don't know if it's cold just now, Like does that happen regularly? Very rarely doesn't happen And when it fake happens, the city shuts down, shuts down side the ghost town.

Can you give me three female artists that you would love to collap with? Carti? Um, that's like no, Brandon cartis too, she's a little too high up actually, um no, not whatever you feel whoever? Are there any type of um maybe restrictions that sometimes artists may run into because you know, like this Philly radio, because you know, Atlanta play Atlanta. I'm starting to see New York follow the train a little bit A you're gonna hear number l A vibes, West Coast vibes, Nevada. Does Philly play Philly? Philly do um but they're heavy

on the Philly though. Yeah, it's it's just the thing is like there ain't too many um Like you have like a couple of sparks that fly off in different directions, but it ain't too many like Armani White's Big Blancos

and in Philadelphia. So it's like, you know, you might do like that they have the dance wave going on in Philly has his own drill scene, so like a lot of those I guess, like it's just called drill, I guess, But but they you know, so they might sometimes play the dance stuff, but they kind of stay out of the way because you know, a lot of the times in every city, a lot of the drill stuff we got like real things going on behind it, so said they kind of minded like as far as

radios and things, but they kind of money business on that. But you know, being an artist coming up in the city, you know, I'm just trying to be I'm trying to be that like that stone in the ground that kind of paves the way for the next me to come up, the next like, you know, the next kind of kids. That's like, maybe I don't want to be one of these two. I guess when I think of Philly, I don't really have like a an identity associated to think

of a boogie that's DJ. Oh yeah, cor nervous. I'm sorry, book, you see how I never really like obviously, you know, when people think of Atlanta, you think of the little babies or like like you have an idea immediately of what it is. When I think of Philly, I'm thinking little Oozie, who's style performance, style music creatively is different from Mikuel But Meek Bill was probably like the guy that stood out the most, like the biggest artist for

for a while, or his name was super popular. Then when I see you, I'm like, Okay, I see the energy that I get from Little Oozy. But again I see so many different like reagions like I saw you do West Coast moves and East Coast and all that. So I don't really understand what the Philadelphia style is. Well, so here's the one thing that all Philly rabbits got incoming.

You you add like I thought you had Mousie, you at Meek, you at me, you had Tierra, you had We can crap, like you know, when you take all of the things away, all the closest out or whatever, like the addricks, we can rap. And that's one of the things that kind of we all came up on, and then we just started to like kind of find different ways to creatively tell us story next. Yeah, and when it comes down to like it just like a little beat on, like we be going, you know, come on,

Okay, you were trying to do something good for a family member that you love and care for, so please don't ever change that about yourself. However, discernment to start meant we'll get you a long way. That man probably didn't even have a license. He shouldn't have had your car to begin with. I'm sorry it's happened

to you. You don't deserve it. But damn he sold your car. Yeah, if you want the truth, he definitely sold your car because first of all, he just got out of jail. He ain't got no money, he ain't got nothing to do, and he probably knows some other criminals, some some people that's gonna give him some money to buy some nice clothes. Because you you let him buy the car, but you ain't help him get no clothes. You know what I'm saying. He sold your ship. Well, it is time to let you know that this was

a stupid decision. You'll not let anybody who gets out of jail come stay with you. I don't give a damn who it is. I don't give a damn who gives you the best sob store you've ever heard of your life. The answer was gonna be no, and you need to start acting bro okay, act broke and be out of town or unavailable when things like this proceed to happen. Now you got to go with your gut.
