Hold up, hold up at Faula Alert, Paula Alert, Paula Alert. Hey you, what's your best friends solo? How was your weekend? He was coming back from bet uh Not Hip Hop Awards DT Award. Yeah, if I had a dope agind, I was out in l A with my team Hennessey crew. We were out there in the streets, mobbing, popping Hennessey. We actually curated our own events eating healthy, Eating Healthy, super healthy l A style. Um. The Gathering Spot is opening their third location in l So he hosted a

really private Hennessey event there on Saturday. We had hit Maker, We had so many dope people. Jacob Lattimore. I mean it was a star stuttered room. It was amazing. The Gathering Spot is fire, so fire. Congratulations to them on opening their third location. Shouts everybody that came to the Hennessey event experience. It's the Exo Rome. We had dinner at Catch. We hosted the Never Stop, Never Settled Society. Grand recipients are Ferrari. When I tell you, black excellence

was in the room. These are recipients of a grand courtesy of Hennessy to help them boost up their their businesses. So it was really dope to me, these young black entrepreneurs, these hustlers, and to really celebrate black excellence overall. L A was. It was beautiful, it was amazing. Well, I didn't do all of that stuff this weekend. I did do some clubby club clubs. It was my daughter, uh two of my daughter's birthday, so I had Lauren she

turned nineteen, and then Brille she turned fourteen. So you know, daddy duty over the weekend. But it was super lit, half fun and uh, let's time. Let's let's get into the show. Let's do it. We'll be right back with more of the Baller Alert show. Okay, best friend, So Ninny Leaks has found love and the action in the arms of a married man since the loss of her husband, Greg Lee. Now I know it sounds messy, but it's really complicated because Nini's new boyfriend and his wife were

already separated according to him. So you know, it's not like he was, you know, cheating on his wife. I guess sort of technically maybe not, I don't know. Okay, Well, the wife did found a hundred thousand dollar lawsuit against Nini's saying that she caused her severe emotional distress by flaunting him all over the internet. She's also sowing, wait

a minute, you can't say that that is stressful, whatever, whatever, whatever. Anyway, she's also swing for criminal conversation, which is a legal reason right to sue someone in the state of North Carolina, where the lawsuit was fouled. Now. Ninie was asked in a recent interview, how do you feel about this lawsuit for him? I don't feel anything you feeling towards the lawsuit? She felt against here? Nothing, nothing, because I feel like it mind right, and I feel like I was dragged

into something that it's just not my business. They have their own legal thing that's going on, that's between them. I shouldn't have been brought into it, that's all. So I really have no feelings about it. I really think that it's something that Yanni has to handle himself. She said, Baby, this ain't got nothing to do with me. Don't ask cool no help. Listen, she living her life and they

are obviously enjoying friends. Don't say stuff like that anyways. Us. She tried to super hunder thousand knows she is in actional distress being flaunted all the way around. You want a hundred thousand knowlarge to come back with him? Okay, now period, I was in l A over the weekend. Friend,

let me tell you, black excellence was everywhere. This year's BC Awards has so many memorable moments, from the fashion or the lack thereof the signs of affections with Young Miami literally holding a sign in support of her man, you know, the man that she's in a relationship with, real bad did he a k A love? Summer Walker, Saucy Santana and Lizzo had was some of the blogs

are considering to be the most daring looks. Summer Walker just announced her second pregnancy, but that did not keep sists from wearing a very very revealing gold two piece. It was very revealing. But you can definitely go to our page as now for five a cl so you can see all the looks. But the city's very on big lott of surprise us all with Mariah, big hit, big energy. Now let's not forget the fact that Old Dirty Bastard's son, Young Dirty Bastard hit the stage in

honor of his late father as well. It was really a full circle moment. If you know the original song, you know the Mariah Carey song that you should know how big this was, so congratulations are in order to a big lotto on your win as Best New Artists. Not only to sist accept this award with tears in her eyes, but I really liked her message because she

actually added, it's giving. Bitch is given pro choice, and obviously that is, you know, a shot at the Supreme Court's recent decision to overturn Row versus Wade UM two. I definitely want to talk about that, but I do want to say before we talk about the Row versus Way. Uh. I've been a fan of a lot of those since she was sixteen, UM. From the rap game, she was

my favorite. Of course she won, UM, and I've just been It's just I'm just so happy to see somebody that I've seen literally grow up before my eyes and she's still the same person. UM. And she thanks her team one time for Brandon, one time for Vane. I'm super proud of her. I'm always gonna be proud of her. But that Role Versus Wade thing is uh. You know, as a father of three daughters, UM, and a wife and growing up with three sisters, there's a lot of

women in my family. UM, so I'm definitely pro woman and a lot of a lot of my stances, um, And I don't think anybody concluding government should tell a woman what to do with their bodies and period. There were actually several people who, you know, what women just told? What do women just stopped having sex with men? I'm trying to tell you what if women like that's what y'all deserved? Yeah, what if women just stopped having sex

with men? What if women like you guys, What if you guys had took a stance on a lot of things. I think the laws would change because a lot of people who are making the decisions or men, old Caucasian men that don't know nothing about today's times now. Janelle Munday even shot up a middle finger at the U. S. Supreme Court during the show because she had, you know, everybody's feeling the same way. Tammy Roman said um that she had her own personal experience with this row versus

way things. She said, it's differently for me because in I made the decision to terminate my pregnancy and I was thankful that I had that option. I think people are missing the point. It's not about being pro life and it's not about bringing pro choice. It's about this country providing the freedom for people to make decisions and be whatever they want to be. That is so real.

We had people like Eva, Marcel, Victoria Monet, Everybody's trying to don on this and that was some of the things that I think that may have easily been overlooked because the BT Awards this year, they did their thing. There were so many memorable moments. But I'm so glad that so many people celebrated back black excellence and really use their platform to make a stance, let their stands be on. Yeah, Texas as a state has a lot going on. Usually it's always Florida got something going on.

Texas was y'all taking the heat right now? So Tommy, what was this whole thing? What's the excitement about Brandy going on stage with Jack Harlow? Okay, so Jack Harlow did not know that Brandy and ray J were siblings. So when you know, when that happened, it was kind of okay, it was like a funny ha ha key key moment because Jack Harlow was really in the in the interview I forget where what interview he was on. He did not know that Brandy and Ray j were sibling.

Who's sister serious? I know, Yes, nobody's ever told me that in my life out today, nobody ever told me that. Listen, it was to Roggi p Henson's hair. Her outfit changes, baby, they was so frequent, hard to keep. Yes, there were moments in the show that gave her, you know, like longer breaks to reinvent her look, but a lot of them required her to like literally speed off the stage.

There's some behind the scenes images of her floating around the Internet where she literally was like sprinting backstage to make sure that she You don't get these outfit sick. These things are very difficult people. I don't think people really understand how big of a job she did and how well she did it. And she did it with Grace too, So she's the amazing job core the ray with the all dentim outfit. I was feeling that. I feel like you had a wide variety of different looks.

I mean, you had Summer Walker who justin out for pregnancy, came out there, showed off one most congratulation, Larry I was not bad at that. All Jazz, the Suliman, Kicky Palmer, Billy Porter, Kirk Franklin Tims shout out to Tims of representing Nigeria, Legos, Nigeria. I love her speech. Thank you

so much for this. Thank you so much. It's an honor to I mean, this is my first award show that I'm winning something, and I just want to use this opportunity to speak to every single young old whatever, every single woman watching this, every single girl watching this at home where I'm from. Things like this don't happen when I'm from Legos, Nigeria. This is this is a dream. And as you're watching me, I want you to imagine yourself as me, because you are meant to be here too.

And so I'm I'm dedicating this to every single young woman, every artist, everybody that is striving on dad to dream. I dare you to get up from your seat and go for your dream and five for yourself. Because you can't. You can't do it, You can't do it, you can't be here. I take this as a sign. If you were waiting for a sign from God, take this as that sign. Beautiful, beautiful speech. Yes, yes, Tim's congratulations Best International Act at this year's The Easy Awards. Man, let

me tell you something Africa stand up. Okay, we Africa's talent is really shining and we're doing that. We're doing what we're supposed to do. Yeah, I agree with that. But one thing we're not doing correctly is hurting each other. Um. Prayers up the shaka Zulu disturbing the beach. Ludacritis, you may know him as Ludacristis manager. We may know him as that mentor and friend here in Atlanta. Um, definitely, I told you this on the way to work to uh, you know, novel fa a t l Atlanta two to

six into it too. Um. I wake up and I checked my phone before I actually wake up and thank God for opening my eyes and go brush my teeth and check on my wife. I wake up and check my phone because lately it's just been one incident after incident. So I wake up and check my phone because within the last couple of months, it's always been something going on to people I know, and that scares me. It

is really scary. I mean I was coming back from l A. I was in l a b et weekend out there with Hennessey working on some activations, and I took a red eye to Atlanta. So I did not know anything until I got up this morning, and I think it's so tragic that people have access to guns right now before they have access to health care. I don't think that we really understand a lot of the the mental and emotional anguish that a lot of people are going through from having to deal with the effects

of COVID nineteen. While some of us are still living our lives and we're traveling, and we go out to eat when we want to, and we have family and friends, we don't realize us that there are millions of people around us, within our own cities that did not come that aren't living the same way we're living. A lot of them are still feeling the effects of being isolated, feeling lonely, not being able to take care of their loved ones. It is a scary time, and I think

people are acting out. I think it's really time for us to focus on healing our own communities, because I am sick and tired of this black on black crime and we're sitting here with a handout asking for the government to do this and do that. At this point, we need to realize it's our time. We need to start, definitely start policing our own. We definitely need to start holding each other accountable. We need to look at each

other as not a threat. We need to look at each other in some type of form of a dear man. We need to learn how to handle conflict better, more maturely. Uh. It's just really making me upset that we have to resort the violence and this type of way where one person was killed and three people total was shot like it. I mean, I don't understand what type of what do we need to do as uh, you know, as a community, because I don't see this happening in other uh ethnicities.

I don't see this, and we're we're becoming the minority at a very alarming rate. And that's something has to happen for us to figure this out. It's time for black folks here. I know that that there were plenty of people in l A that were devastated by this. By Shaka being shot. This happened at some point during the BET Awards. It seems like so um to everyone who loves him, cares about him, values him, or even

just understands his contributions to the industry. Please make sure that you are sending his family love and light, keep him lifted. As of now, we know that he is doing okay. I know that he had surgery. We're hoping him a speedy recovery. Listen and put the guns down. I want to say, Atlanta, put the guns down. The reality is that violence is spiking all across the nation. Everybody, please look out for yourself, look out from one another. This was a special edition of the Bolo Show podcast.

We wanted to highlight the BT Awards and also to send love and and warm wishes to Shaka's family. All right, let's take a quick commercial breaks more with the Baller Show podcast available everywhere you get your pockets. We'll be right back with more of the Baller Alert. Yall, and it is now time for Ballermail. Hey Rary and ball Alert. I am a sixty year old woman and I am lonely. I have been married for the past thirty years and

I lost my husband three years ago. I am approaching sixty one, but honey, I do not look like it. Just need some dating help. I love you guys Ball Alert podcast. My daughter sends me the links every week for your episodes. So I

tried my luck board and lonely. Please help. Okay, Well, friend, you might have to, you know, explore maybe some untraditional styles of dating. You know, maybe you have less expectations for someone. If you go on a date with somebody on Monday, you had a great time. Great, you had a good time. If you don't hear from him on Tuesday, who cares you? You here from him on Tuesday. Maybe you have another date with somebody else on Thursday, or

a great conversation with somebody else on Saturday. You gotta learn to just enjoy the experiences that you do have instead of trying to make everything a serious relationship. Enjoy getting to know people, and if somebody sticks around, they will stick around. That's all I got. Well, Sue Solo is ninety nine point nine percent right, But you know what she left out that one, that point one percent.

You're trying to date some miliar age, ma'am. Stop dealing with the dudes and need penny loafers with the penny in the loafer you feel me, you need to gonna get you a man that's in the forties. Okay, if you do not look like it, why don't you date somebody that look like what you look like? You look like you you sound like you say you're about to be sent to one, but maybe you look like forty one.

Why don't you gonna get you a little forty one, your old thunding, and he gonna put that thigh you yang, and that thigh ain't so that thing's gonna start thinging again, and you're gonna think about your husband here and there, but he's gonna definitely take your mind off of that. Okay, Lee, Like it seems like you just need to get your freak on. Uh, what'sn't that stella grew back? Donna get your little forty one, your old man, you feel me,

that's gonna put that thing back in pocket? Okay, because I know you got a little Kyle Webs down there and you need to get it dusted off. So start looking a little younger. You probably skewing a little high, gonna hear and skew a little little a little lower for that, and you might want to even try thirty nine thirty nine to forty nine. That should be your little age bracket for you to get you a little young, little tender roni in your age. Okay, by time for

us to get up out of here soon. Let me get some shout out man oncen't get shout out to everybody that was out in l A b ET. Congratulations on an amazing production.
