Hold up, Hold up, Alert Show, what's your best friends? See solom and this is the Fall Alert Show Podcast Home, what's happening your boy building? What's probably occ So listen, best friends. We're not gonna hold y'all. We know that, y'all miss us. We missed you too. But we've been outside work and doing what we do. Matter of fact, BT, Ben all out on the road, hanging with celebrities, flying private jets. That's what do you do? I don't know

what you're talking about. You do? I see Instagram? It's all your Instagram friend, I saw you. It was a music video. No allegedly. Where where are you this week? B T? Where did you go this week? Come? I was in Florida. I had to shoot a commercial because I'm doing a brand ambassador deal with this company. So you know, I'm just out here trying to get my coins. You feel me? I love it brand ambassador. I would ask O c T how she doing, but I would rather to hear much about the Brandon dust and the

ship Solo. What you're doing henlous life of Sue Solo? Well, I'm just trying to get Like BT, I haven't been on a private jet before. So hint, hint, if you feel like calling that, ain't got to let me know, say, I'll break the Hennessy. We've been enjoying ourselves though, just trying to get my bearings with like the thirty jobs that I feel like I have right now, You've got a lot of jobs. I do feel like I have

a lot of jobs. But they all go together. They all go together, you see, Like Hennessey can support this event, this events. You know, it's it's a fig I like how you move Yeah, smart, not hard. Okay, let's get into in case you missed it, So best friends Katanji Brown Jackson. Jackson is now officially confirmed as the first black female Supreme Court justice. People don't seem to understand why this is a big deal, So I'm a fan again.

She'll be the first black female justice in the Court's history, and therest justice in decades to have served as a public offend herself. Basically, it just seems like she's very well educated, she knows what it's like on both sides, or will know what it's like on both sides, and she seems the most eligible to possibly help make change. I'm just saying like, throughout this administration. They're getting some things right. You know, we're the first black woman vice president,

you know, the first black woman justice. You know, if it's super in court, like what you want to tell Joe Popping right now? What did you take my money? But where's the vice president? Then? Where's she? What's the next story? Yeah? Because I mean they might be putting people in possess I mean she did. She did read the confirmation with a head. She working, though she working. All this Outsina is also working. He just released a

new to Hong call Shake the World Donations. She suddenly come back for me and crops and around, just get it till a y'all. August, I've seen a fan. I feel like August seeing you need to sat down. I am in August. I'll seeing a fan. I'll consider myself a fan. I do enjoy his music when I know

about it. It just kind of seems like he releases stuff and it's music just not consistent, like right, and it's just it's just mighty funny to me how it's come around now, you know, with the Smith's in the well not so good light, and he just wanted to release projects and tell all books and all that I'm just it's just the timing for me. I just missed when you know, he was just putting out, you know,

music that didn't pertain nothing else. You know, he had the short hair, that's what he was doing, this thing, We had the short hair. When the songs did not include his entanglement, because he definitely mentioned the entanglement with in this song as well, I feel like that's the whole promo for the album August real talk. I'm just trying to figure out, like how much do you want

to shake the world like my guy? You had the headlines in the Chokehold all last year, man Kevin Jada came out about the relationship that Jada actually called an entanglement. Got into an entanglement with a guess that's what I said, which in mis means it's a little more than casual. It was the thing like relationship. Yes, it was a relationship. Yeah.

I always thought that situation was just kind of like, you know, weird because they never they never came out, you know that they were you know, until they did they did or whatever. We just used to see him hanging out with the family. I thought he was friends with her son. Do you think you know what I'm saying, Like because the way it looked, because like the pictures,

he would like hang out with everybody. So I always just thought he was just friends with you know, with her son or something kind of like when Lori Harvey was dating, did he somethinge um start out to Loria Harvey? You know Michael B Jordan. They said, Michael, get that hair back on your hand. Listen. They are doing their things, so listen. On Twitter, user actually said something to August. This girl said, when we're shaking my bed, and he replied,

I ain't having sex. I gotta keep harnessing my energy and life force to continue suthoning energy for all the spells that have been casted. You know a lot of people believe in like, you know, voodoo, and you know, because he's from from New Orleans and that's it's a very big thing in New Orleans cultures. As far as

I understand, I apologize if I'm wrong, please yea. So people thought he was tripping, like they thought something was wrong with him, So sources reached out to verify if his tweets were actually his tweets, and he said, yeah, I said what I said, that's that's normal for people to you know, feel like somebody casting spells and stuff. I mean, that's what he's doing. So so he said he's not having sex so he can harness his energy. Is that something that you feel like you might ever

need to do in your life? Bet if need be absinent to you know, you know I was using the Germans. What'd you say? What you say? Do men hardness their energy by refraining from sex? I mean I don't. I don't know about everybody, but I know that I feel like I feel like, you know, sometimes it does make you more focused, you know, when you when you are away from women and you know, not indulging in sexual activities. You know, I find myself, at least for me, more

focused and you know, have more of a clear mind. Um, you know, but I can't say for everybody. I don't know about you know, all these long periods of times, you know, I don't know about now. I don't know about all that in a long period of time, I got well. Russell waited for his marriage to Sierra. He did. Is that why Channing Crowder is calling him a cornball? Yeah? That will be with him. Russell Squaire had she she has a good situation. But she was you gonna leave future,

She's get with Russell Wilson. I think that's future and everybody, Yeah, that's true. Everybody has a top. You're gonna leave future and get Russell when you get so god damned square and I love him on the field. He's a square. He's a square. He go from this level of toxicity. You just want something stable. You want the guy that was sitting with that girl with that big old mom at the draft, that was laughing and you knew she deserved to be with the goofball. You want you want

to get goofball. That was that was messed up because you can't say a man is a cornball because of how he is in life and how he treats his woman. I'm gonna say this. You cannot say a man is a cornball who has two hundred million dollars. I mean no, no, no, no, no, no no no no no no. Women can do that. Women can say I don't care how much money you got, But as a man, you cannot say another man is a cornball that got two hundred million dollars. Yes you can.

You can't. If you corny, your corny the money don't make you un corny. I don't think he's corny. You think I don't think he's corny. I think it's a respectable guy. You know what I'm saying. Everybody do things differently. That's their way. You know what I'm saying. Lead them alone. Yeah, now with somebody would call me corny if I got two. His whole point was to me. She she leveled up. I feel like he said, you don't go from a future to a Russell Wilson because clearly you have a type.

Now let me tell you something. Your type might not be the type for you. Just because you have a type, don't mean your type gonna work out when you're young. Yeah, you want to date the dope boys in the trap. You want to have fun, live wild life on the wild side. What ship they play you on? Off? You're ready for someone who is same. Like you just said.

You go through periods in your life where you know you having fun, you outside, you doing your thing, But there comes a time when you're looking in the mirror like baby, I'm only gonna be the young, but it's long. You know what I'm saying. I need to secure something. I need to secure my future. And I feel like, you know, no, puney right, she realized what she was worth and she decided to be with a man who was specting that. That's like that. Everybody go through stages

in their life. You know what I'm saying. Shout out to Russelan Sierra, because baby, somebody pulled up Channing Crowder's high school photos show ugly. Now since he's talking about bodies, it ain't no telling how many fifty cent got because this man would not lead to here and a real long money. She wants his money here, how much he got in the bank. And I don't care either if I if you want me two dollars, I want my damn to a money, especially when you sued me and

it backfired, I definitely want my money. Okay, But listen, you guys, it was wrong for him to repost that video. He not have posted that on his Plassen Internet exactly. So does that excuse any of this at all? On the internet? It was, but come on, now, why would he be We know he is a savage. Okay. I just think it's heavy enough that she already has someone that she trust without a video that she did not authorize.

You know, she was hurt. Now I can't understand the argument, Like everybody, A lot of people reposted it, why fifty Is it because he has the money? But I think it's because he has such a big platform that it it blew it up even more, you know what I mean. I thought that was kind of tough toever he's gonna throw a lot, but at this point says he's not letting up. I heard he had investigated for on your ass and he wants to bring you to the forefront so you can pay him his money. Becoming like the

rs keep be talking about garnishing checks and all types. Ship, I need my money by Monday. Now Shanty is getting her flowers. She got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Like some people are confusings as to how that happened. But Shanty is very talented. She contributed a lot. She's kind of young, though. We'll shout out to Shawn t Man, shout out to my girls, scissors winning that Grammy Jazz and something we're winning. I love it. I love it. It's like, yeah, it's the black girl magic

for me. And speaking of black girl magic, we have a very special guest coming in today. We're gonna be talking to Coco Jones. If you don't know who she is, you're about to find out Hillary Banks from Ben Larry. Y'all. I don't want to give him a season. I just want to let him know. Y'all need to come right back. It's Bert right back period. We'll be right back with more of The Baller Alert Show. Still listening to a special edition of The Baller Alert Show. It's a special

cloth Alert. Well, you know I could be the person on your team. I thought you had your own thing though I do, but when I saw the boost that you and I both got from one event, I realized we can do a lot more together than alone. I don't know Hillary. After a while, just going to upscale adventisn't get played out, which is why I think you should buy Kylo out of my influence. Posh, think about it. We clear out Kylo and we rebrand as this female

forward space Foller Nation. Welcome back to the podcast. Is your best Friends to solo and listen. We've been talking about black Girl Magic and we might as well just keep it going. Ladies and gentlemen, we are talking to Coco Jones. No, I'm a little but her, because I came in looking like radio, and since is out here making her rounds. Okay, she's got the yes. I literally ran from the studio to go get chat. You see

a little one too, And then I came here. She did the one to and the three Okay cocko Johns. Where the hell did you come from? Oh my gosh, Well, a lot of people know it from Disney, and they know me from leg Shine, But really, I'm from Tennessee and I've been singing since before I could talk. Country girl. My whole my whole life is singing Lebanon, Tennessee. I never knew there was a Lebanon, Tennessee. Most people, she said, I was sing every chance in l A and Disney

and all those cool things. You know. I was doing talent competitions when I was younger, and I just wanted more. I actually gave like this ghetto little CD than my mama made on her windows PC. I gave this casting lady at this huge casting call with like five thousand kids. A year later, she asked me to be on Disney's Talent competition. From there, I was auditioning for shows, not getting them because I was not good then I got a couple and then from there I got a movie.

And that's when it was like, okay, well most world is different. Now you're a good thing. You didn't get finesse because maybe maybe out here for ness and you know, you go to them small town, they'd be like, yeah, you want to be maybe a star. But my mom is un and as of well, she's an entrepreneur. She comes from an entrepreneur family. So she was like, Mom, I know, I think it sold up. How you really

just took some accountability. What you said was you went on some auditions, you tried for some things, and you didn't get them because you weren't good. Most people will not admit that. Oh no. I definitely looked back and I'm like that was rough, like rooting for her, thank god, But you know, everything is trial and error. And I feel like, because I was so green, I didn't know what work I did. I knew what didn't, so I just had to, you know, evolve and adapt. But was

singing I can always rope somebody in Okay. I looked online the little research and it says that you are actress, singer, rapper and lord dancing. What BYA was this I've been

trying to work with you guys. When I used to when I was younger, I used to wrap yes, But now the girls really be rapping, So I don't even want to put that when I don't want to, don't want somebody to interview, like yeah, kid, the freestyle real quick, also right, but also to their like, I really respect the girls out here who are coming with them sickening and so I'm like, that's not these girls, these dudes.

I mean, look, you know, West females, we gotta work harder just to get the same respect, which is not cute, but per we do we do at school. You definitely said that. So Strength of a Woman Festival is coming up in Atlanta, May sixth to the eighth. Now it's had like Mayor J Blige obviously and featuring some amazingly talented women since you brought them up. You have legendary artists like Shaka Khan, you have Escape, You even have newer talent like Queen Nyja arm A Red of the Great,

who is in fact from Atlanta. So Coco, I think it's safe to say that it really is the Year of the Woman, Like women have music in a choke hole. I'm not arguing with nobody. Do you feel like this

is your time to come in? And how or where do you think you can actually leave your mark at such a time where women are so oh well, I definitely feel like people that can watch my journey, they can put into perspective that things really do take time, and hopefully they can stay motivated to continue on their paths of achieving whatever it is that they dream about, and that keeps them up the things that they can't imagine not doing because people don't know, like I started young,

but like I've been doing this and I had a long long time where everything was moving slow, you know, and I watched like a peek and then I watched a fall. But now I feel like I'm back at the peak, and so I want to tell people, like, just because you're in a valley doesn't mean you're done. It doesn't mean your windows closed. It just means there's gonna be a different route than what you thought. But just keep walking in that route. You know? Now, is

the internet correct? One? It says shout out was wisdom from a twenty four year old. Okay, put that back. So tell me what came first, music or acting? Oh, music for sure, Music for sure. I actually I won this talent competition. I was competing against my age I won that one, and then I competed against adults. I won that one, and the judge was the one that was like, okay, I'll work with her for free. He worked with me for a year and that's when I created that get a little ep if I like leapovers

at basketball. It was the start. It was. It was the start. So singing was my first thing. And then I was bothering my mom like what else can I do? She was like, just audition for the Brocket commercial. I don't know, child, So then I didn't. I was like, oh, this is cute too, So I started doing both and whenever one was like slower, the other one would be faster. So you always have something something to do with. She's smart, she know how. She like, I'm gonna work every angle

basketball music, I'm gonna do it all. Oh my god, where did basketball come from? Is that a real thing? Well for me, yeah, my dad played professional ball, so I thought sports was going to be my way in. But then I realized that you can get paid to sing, and I was like, I'm gonna take a permit time. So were you really not into sports? It was just more like the family. Oh no, I was into it.

I'm so okay. I was. I was very into it, but I was more like I felt more in my passion bag when I was on a stage or when I'm in a studio. So I had to chase that how tall are you? That's a good height for like women's basketball. I would never know. I'm not even five feet. So I just so you definitely wouldn't relax. Okay, So how the hell did you get the role of playing Hillary Banks on bel Air Man? I mean, it's still such a blessing. I literally whenever I see the advertising,

I'm like, thank you guys, thank you God. Because I actually didn't want an audition for him. It came across my my email like auditions do, and my team was like, yeah, we think you should email for this, and you know, I didn't want to. I have like this impression that I didn't fit the role. I felt like if they were doing a reimagination, if they were doing a recreation, they wanted Hillary to look exactly like you did before, and I was like, my hair doesn't do that. I

don't look like that. I'm not that shade. I don't even want to do this. So I told my acting manager, I was like, can I audition for Ashley? He was like, girl, Ashley spoil if. I was like, hey, so I didn't, and I honestly it was very strategic about it. So then I had a conversation with Morgan Cooper, our director and creator, and he basically was saying he had researched me. He knows what I can do, what I bring to the table. He was like, just do that. That's what

I'm looking for. So then I got to really play Hillary with no restraints and no like no limiting beliefs about myself of what they were looking for. I just got to like, do me, and a couple of days later, I got that's that's so. That's so dope. And I also seen um in an interview where you were talking about like how um, you know when you got the role and everything, and you know, really how I made you feel because you was like, I might not get this, so I don't want to audition, but then you did

it anyway. But that just tells you you know things, you know, life works in mysterious ways because there's so many things that you know, you probably didn't want to do and you did it and you got it and you said, look, man, my whole life is changing all over again. And I like how you talked about the slow times in your career because a lot of artists they don't talk about that. You know. Everybody just talked about like, yeah, I went through the struggle, but you

know I made it out. But people never talked about the slow times because you came from Disney and you know, I've seen interview you was talking about like you thought your life was just gonna blow up and just keep increasing and stuff like that. So I really thought that was that was dope too. So with this new found fame, you know, with the with the new show, like, how do you feel now? Do you feel different? Honestly? You know, I have this one interview and the lady who interviewed

me said it best. She said, like, we're so happy you're having your renaissance moment. And I was like, oh my, that is literally it like it feels kind of like deja vu because I remember when everything was so live and everyone was talking about what I was doing and I was a kid, you know, I was like so young,

I didn't know that that would ever stop. And so for me now, I love that I get to have this opportunity again to like kind of reintroduce myself, you know, because now I'm growing, nobody's telling me what to say or what lines, like, I'm playing this dope character and I know who I am musically and sonically, and also I have all this experience, so I'm like a Ricky and that you are the new, a greater version of yourself.

And I think over time it's totally okay for us to continue to find newer, greater versions of ourselves, no matter what that looks like. So who do see you for being being able to go through all of that? And I know that Disney stuff might have been a lot of pressure because I think a lot of people always a song when you come from Disney, Man, you just gonna go Yeah, life is just gonna be beautiful.

It's no joke. It's a huge machine. But I look back at it and I'm so grateful for all of those opportunities because I have a whole fan base that's been watching me since we was all like teen, you know, Like it's crazy. They're not like They're not like, you know, faulty. They really stuck with me. So I'm honored and hopefully with my new music and with these new projects, I can inspire them to keep going and like I can be like, thank you all for rocking with me, you know,

because without your fans, who's checking for you? Hello? I'm grateful for them because I was like, SI's got like over a million followers. I know, I didn't come from val Air, which is just Premier a couple of weeks. They love her. So did you question your role because of skin complexion? Did you feel like that that was gonna take a big part in it? Oh? I mean when I auditioned, I thought that they were, you know, looking for someone of a lighter shade to to really

be similar to O. G. Hillary. So that made me kind of like apprehensive to audition. But once I got the role, I was like, Okay, this is huge, this is a huge moment. This is an honor, This is about representation, This is about opening minds of people who look like me. This is way bigger than me, you know. Yeah, It's so sad how colorism played such a big part and even the things that we think we should try

to achieve or things we should go for. So I'm glad that you continue to push through because who else would they have gotten for that role. Like everyone seems to absolutely love you in the role. Thank you. Not about color, but if y'all don't know she's beautiful, you've got some color to her. And I think that's why it's so dope that you're so pro woman, because we want to see more dark skin or darker skin women

in the industry. And you're just you're just you just seem so genuine and proud to be who you are. So we're excited to have you on the show today. Thank you so much. I'm happy to be here. Google Jones, please tell everyone where to follow you. Yes, my Instagram's Coco Jones, my Twitter the real Coco j and my TikTok is Coo Jes because you know the tikni talk. We're running it up. It's I mean, she almost got too many followers. Not like you need any more follows, followers,

that's a period. I'm very good. Let's want to take the follow me. Okay, caliber watch the show. I'm an advertising Come on now, that's like a quick commercial break. But when we come back. We're gonna do baller mail. We'll be right back. Stay tuned with more of the Baller Alert Show message. Welcome back to the ball Alert podcast Show. Ferrari is out on vacation being nasty, but I am here to do the baller mail already ready all right, this one is kind of crazy. What's up, y'all?

What's up all nation? My twin brother is smashing our cousin. His nasty ass won't stop, and it's completely out of pocket, and I want to tell our dad and our cousin's dad. This is completely discussing, and I feel like I need to put them on blasts. What do y'all think? What my lord? We have to start having them put their race down because I'm trying to figure out or not I'm trying to figure out. I want you to tell the folks. Honestly, this is chaotic, chaotic what I'm hearing.

I'm okay. So, as I was coming up, I was always like the goody goody. I was always like the second mom. I'm the oldest of all my siblings, so my intuition is saying snitch my intention. But you know what, here's another thing. I feel like Karma is a mother, it really is. And so sometimes I don't know me personally,

I would maybe you know what I would do. Maybe I'll be on some like inspector type stuff like leave some clues, leave some clues around so in that way the Lord can tell them and they'll see the clue and then they piece it together. And then I wasn't a snitch, you know what I'm saying. I was just I was just working for Christ, the Lord do his work, the Lord. You just work. Hey man, girl, I gotta to say all I'm gonna say I is y'all nasty and um, you know, if you need to snitch, then

go ahead. I'm sorry, like snitch just just this is just you? Is that illegal? Not everywhere? So that's why I need to know where y'all that is You Caucasians, what race are you and what state are you in? Because if your state allows it, then leave them be. If if you'll state allows it, clearly that's what y'all need to tell somebody because that is nasty. You need to tell somebody. You need to tell a family member.

You might not have to be the one to deliver the bad news, but you should tell somebody to tell somebody because this is nasty and it's and it is bad because yeah, I see the movie about some stuff like that too, and their kids didn't look good. You know what, I think it's all the wrong turn. I think it's very much the wrong turn. You guys are very much lost lost. I'm telling you because your baby's the Sharon promises that you know what else you could do?

You could write an anonymous email. That's what I'm saying. Just tell all the tea and and don't sign it. Just put with love. Just type it up and just drop it because they can trace the email. They can see where the email. Yes, I don't need that. There I go getting caught again. Look at you. You know you don't even know how to do stuff and not get caught. I'm a sending an email about this my last email, Joe, and I don't this not for my last Lord have mercy COO. Once again, thank you for

coming and kicking in with us. Yeah, we'd like to have a good time around these parts. We honestly we're going to continue to follow your career. We would love to have you back anytime you want to share some news, whether it's more music, more acting, or when you do fall in love with somebody's son or daughter, you can

That's a let of thing. We go to strip clubs and we know I'm already knowing so many people have told me that this part of culture. I'm like, well, at this point, let me just see what people in l A thought. I was weird because I was like, it was like when you have I'm like, oh, I'm

a Magic City. They're like, you have the strip club in the day the time I said, I'm here eating. When I'm hungry, here having food. I'll pop in during the day, just a little, just a little quick just call Monday night, child, no Monday night. Give nobody has work? What is Atlanta? Nobody no job here? And give it. We are the work.
