Ball alert, ball alert, ball alert. Yeah it's the kid Ferrari Simmons. What's up, young world? Is your best friends suit so long that the baby hair is laid out? Had a slick little poty said, I'm trying to look good or whatever, but you know what it really is. I got natural hair and black women. I know y'all feel me. This little humidity in the wintertime, like it all makes sense. I don't know what to do with my one time for that fake snow we had over the weekend, it was fake snow. Um well, on my

side of town. I'm very east east east east, and we had we had snow and it just didn't stick to the ground. My kids was expecting to play, you know, making snowman and you know all that, but this didn't happen, and the weather person was capped. The weather person for Georgia was first of all. It's multiple weather people get over the weekend, I saw lots of snow in midtown. I also went and took a walk in midtown Atlanta. Everyone north, there's the snow stick. Well, we don't know

what to do with snow any dam one. So I'm glad that it did what it did. The city slick shut down. That didn't nothing happen. It's okay. I had my groceries. I was prepared for the shutdown. Yeah, you probably went in overbought grocers. I live alone. I made sure to keep it cute. How was the weekend otherwise? My weekend was fantastic Ferarri Simmons, How was yourge Mine was okay. My wife got stuck in North Carolina because

it actually smolled up there. Yeah, I didn't see her from I didn't see her for a couple of days, and I had all the kids at the house and that was a little aggressive for me. Okay. I'm used to having my life partner, my wife with me assisting me and me assisting her, and no one was there to assist me, and it was very difficult to do breakfast, lunch, dinner, be nice and patient and empathetic and nurturing. Yeah, that was a lot. You know, four year old she requires

a lot. Everybody else, you know, they could they kick it and sit still. But yeah, outside of that, we uh, we're ready to get into some ball. We got a good show today. Eric Bellinger is in the house talking about Chris Brown, something Street or Grammys all of that, staying loyal to his soilers. That's what he called him. When we was talking about the I didn't want to say, let's get into it. We live in a crazy world and I need everyone to look out for yourselves and

each other. A woman fell asleep on her you was out of airlines like, only to be waking up by a stranger feeling her all the way up. She yelled at him stop. Then he gets up, runs to the back of the plane, and he told on himself. He told a flight attendant he had a disorder, and he apologized for groping the lady on her private parts. Now you not. The rest of that flight was extremely awkward. Now, speaking of awkward, Kobe Kardashian is back making headlines, back

getting drags and probably not giving a damn to be real. Okay, she don't care what your opinions are of her. But why is she getting dragged this time, you might ask, Well, it is because she's been selling her daughter's used clothes for money. She's been selling it for money now right now, mind you her in the Kardashian clan, all of them, they always sell their clothes. But people think it's distasteful that she would sell children's clothes at such high prices

when millions of people are so heavily affected by the pandemic. Now, one person tweeted, so disgusted when these clothes could be donated to people in need. Everything goes about money with the Kardashians. I gave all my self away to people that could use them. Okay, Now, another person said, we're in a chronic pandemic. People have lost their jobs, food prices are through the roof, and people can't pay their rent or mortgage. Now I have a question for you.

Is Chloe Kardashian dad wrong for selling her daughter's clothes or do people need to mind their business? People need to mind their business. Yeah, exactly, thank you. Now, now let me throw this in there. What if she got them closed free? Now that's different, yeah, says Come on now, friends, let's just say for ships and giggles that she got the clothes for free. Cloth facts. I don't think designers get closed. I'm kidding me. You think the Kardashians don't

get free closed designer closed? Yes? You think they're walking around with free Gap T shirts? Okay, Gap? Probably? I don't know about Gucci and I mean, I gap close. But that's what I'm saying. And that's why the Kardashians is getting designers says, because me and you getting the gap. Okay, not sending us nothing, but they sent on the Kardashian stuff. I know that. Okay, yeah, okay exactly, but nothing less though you say people need the Monda business, she can

sell them, do what she need to do. That's her baby. Yeah, there it is, thank you for your cases. You. So basically it sounds like people need to mind the business that pays them. Yeah, since we're talking about business, we got somebody been coming in. Who is it? Eric Bellinger? Yeah, we gotta say his name right, so Eric Bellinger. Yeah, that's what I said, Eric Bellinger right here on the ball a Show podcast coming up wherever you get your podcast,

ball Alert, Ball Alert, ball Alert. Ferrari Simmons, your bestie solo sor writer for a lot of our top guys, and we're gonna get into that, Mr Eric Billinger. Yes, Sir Bellinger, Bellinger, practice, you gotta practice, get it right. I got you. You came in smelling real medicated man. Man, you know, listen high frequencies only. Yeah, facts fact, and I mean that literally, yeah, figuratively. Are there any strands that you wait to to touch when you come to Atlanta?

Or basically I know you're from the West Coast and y'all got the real you know, don't say anything illegal, but you know that's far. Let's stay loyal to my soil exactly. We don't want to get you banged up with any logistics or anything. But since we are talking about logistics, we need you to introduce yourself to our listeners. Listen, my name is Eric Bellinger, A K eight easy right you feel me? Singer, songwriter, entertainer, actor extraordinaire. You know

what I mean? If you know about me, I love you and if you don't, just do a little googling and then he'll love you. He'll love your right after that. So what's crazy is there are so many talented people that are usually behind the scenes, right and then they I guess, decide or maybe something changes in your career where you're ready to be at the forefront, and for some artists there seems to be a little struggle in

the transition. Do you feel like you are being received? Well, yes, I definitely feel um since I have been taking my artists you more serious other people did you know, Like when right when they saw me, I feel like dropping mixed tapes or singles or whatever. Man have you. I felt such support and it's like, oh, this is what you're doing now, And it was it was only really uh struggle and a challenge transitioning. Um, amongst people like the big the bigger guys in the industry. They're so

used to calling me in as the worker, as the help. Yeah, can we touch that real quick because a lot of people don't know that you you write a lot of records for these big artists. Are Let's not speak criptically to the people. Now. Let me see, let me think the biggest record you've written for somebody? All right, find China Chris Brown. Chris Brown. That was actually even got a Grammy in two thousand twelve for co writing Fame with Chris Brown. Yes, yes, I had three songs on

the on the Fame album. All My Love Saying with Me was two of the joints on there. Um. The third one was no Lights And I think from me just working with Chris Brown and Sure and Justin Bieber and all these guys behind the scenes. Um, A and RS and the top guys just kind of looked at me like, oh yeah, we can call him in the right a hit. We can call him in the right a hit. And I think my original passion always being an artist and being on stage just naturally has made

this way to the forefront organically. Do you think do you think said not to interrupt you because I wanted to catch you in the moment. Do you think that sometimes the fact that you can write a hit for somebody overlooks the artistry part of your career. I think only in this sense of the people that I've write songs for, they may have a bigger budget, they may have a bigger marketing plan, they may have a bigger you know. I like to just saying that because that's important.

It's just the team behind it, you know what I mean. But I think now that even though I haven't signed a major deal ever, I'm still doing an independent my team that I have around me, it's major and I understand the difference, and that really is what will take a song to the next level or you know, later be a regional sensation. So Y said, you come to Atlanta quite often. What Atlanta artists would you want to

work with or have you worked with? Man? Uh? Last single I actually had k Camp on there um that joint was called Moist, So shoututs to everybody I supported that joint and uh man, there's so many people I want to work with out here from ship me goes a little baby like you just name it? You know what I mean? I'm thugger. I kind of got stuck when I heard moist? What what? How do what? My last single was called Moist featuring k Camp? Thinking about

the afternoon action I checked out? Okay, Okay, okay, that's the whole point of it. It's still okay, alright, let's talk about this new music? Is an album coming? Do we have a date? So right now? We got the album I was called Newfers out. When did it come out? It came out? Was it that September ten? He's actually nominated for a Grammy? Yes, like yeah, now this album is actually nominated. And what we're working on now is a potential deluxe there we go album release for New Lights.

So do we have a date for that? Sir? That I don't have a date, but that's what I'm That's what I'm really working. If you're thinking about so black history money back. I like that. I like that of glove, you know, I mean maybe around Valentine's Day. You know what I'm saying, talk about Valentine's Day here during my show. Okay, because she singles she hasn't gotten it out a long time. I get on her about it on the radio. I mean for me people listening, he could have heard it

on the way. You have to tell neither one of them actually ain't gotten it in a while. She's in the drought. She definitely needs your music, Queen in control. Thank you King for recognizing Okay than you because it's out there. It ain't hard to get rob Hey. But now that they look, now that they know, good luck, good luck on the d ms. Do you feel me like it might? It might see them and you gotta grab me a two thousands? Well for called writing and

now you're nominated for your own album. Yeah, does it feel any different? It was way different because you have to understand, man, I am Eric Bellinger, singer, songwriter, content independent, doing it my way, no help, no no support from you know, the people that should have that, that could have right, So I keep I keep that, I keep that on my shoulder and I keep that battery in

my back. So now that it happened in a in a world of oh, Eric Bellinger the songwriter, now ringer, Now it's now, it's the nominating Is that your real name? Is that your real name? That's my real guvy gup, shout out to my mom. That's your drivers, like yeah, okay, okay, okay, yes, Eric Aldwin Balinger. Oh that's a nice name. So how did you want? Seven hook up? And I'm talking about for the song what about us? Unless that was the

personal hook up Seve? Okay cool? So no, no, no, I mean said we actually started working like she worked on the Fame album too, So she used to be signed to Chris Brown and that's when we met. So as we was working on his music, the relationship just you know, naturally progressed and we naturally worked together more on her music. My music still did more on Christ's music, and now it was just like time to do another one.

This ain't our first time doing music together. We got a song called feel Me Out, We got a song called Cash twenty two out, and this is our third joint. What about us? They say third times a charm? So how does it feel getting back on the road. Were uh, you know, being on tour Vibes on vibes tour, Vibes on Vibes tour. Shout out to my bro Sammy, Man, it's exciting. You know. I've been locked up for two years.

Everybody been in isolation, been in quarantine. Are able to do what we love to do, use our guy giving talents, our God giving gifts. And now for me, I've just been in the gym shooting. I never stopped, I never took a break. I stay ready, so I ain't gotta get ready. So that like that, yeah, yeah, yeah, as soon as that first that first gunshots off, telling it's over, everybody, it's over. So where we're talking about it's over. We

are so excited for you. We definitely are going to make sure that we pay attention to the growth of your career, the continue growth and every time you come Atlanta, every time you got to pull up, every time last thing came up here. I think it was a couple of years ago. Man, I've been here. That's so I was like, oh yeah, and I know you just came up here a few times. I hear that, but I never really think people mean that like on some put

up listen. It's politics. It's so much when you really think of politics involving it ain't as easy as it's up. Y'all got a song, can'll come up there and play, but or come up there and chill work coming in town and can give me something to eat. It's just

some such politics. But I want to challenge myself and every artist out there to take advantage of when people say hit me up, hit them up, hit them up, especially us s R and I be outside, you know, so if you ever just need a space to kick it, you want to buy out, you can call either one of us. He's out here DJ and out out here just doing what I've been out That's all I'm talking about.

You know, you start getting worried about the things that don't matter, and you know that's what I think is the issue, you know, as opposed to just doing what you feel is right. We're proud of you, black man. Tell everybody where to follow you. Follow me on Instagram, follow me everywhere at Eric Bellinger. It's just my full name E R I C B E L L I N G E R. And you better say his name right that it's easy got it. Appreciate you bro her more with the follow up show podcast will We Come Back?

And now it's time for ballermail. Oh dear, sorry, my on and off again girlfriend just told me if I don't propose to her this year, it's over now. I was saving my money to actually do it on Valentine's Day. However, I didn't like the tone of this topic we just had last week. We are not together at the moment because of this very thing. The next step in commitment marriage, But I don't want to feel pressured. Should I propose on schedule or should I leave this potential headache alone

stressed out? We live in dat in Ohio. It's a dear rory, But I'm just gonna jump in for two quick seconds and just say nobody is perfect, No relationship is perfect. I think what you need to do is learn better communication skills. How do you get to a point where you want to marry somebody? You already got the damn ringing, the schedule to proposal, dating, all of that, but you just can't talk to a person like that

don't make sense. So let's put in a little effort to build maybe a little pre marital counseling or you know, just boyfriend girlfriend counseling, just to see if this is really where you want to go. But I'm not married. I'm actually very single. So ferrari, let me shut up. Uh uh, I ain't gonna cap this. One's a fifty fifty of me wants to tell you this is toxic. Y'all get the hell away from each other. The other fifty percent of me is telling me is you're probably

being immature. You probably and she's probably telling you be a man, step up to the plate and be a responsible adult, and let's take it to the next level. So uh, if either or can help me telling you by saying you need to have an adult conversation with her, y'all go speak to a professional and then make a decision to uh close this chapter in your lives or

start a new chapter. Lets say it again, close this chapter so y'all can just have some type of closure in this relationship and stop being toxic on and off again, or start a new chapter. Got it good? Yep, And there's a time for us to get up out of here. So so lo I need some title nour add VILM My lopon tail is a little too slick for me. Can you give us some shout outs please, ma'am. I'm gonna shout out my hairdresser for we're cutting off the

blood circulation to my brain. I can't even talk right now. I feel like I'm drunk and I'm really not what's the solution that's in your hair that's keeping it's still like that? I don't know. It's a lot of professional people stuff that I don't know nothing about it. Yeah, but yeah. Shout out to my family, I love you guys. Out to everyone who was keeping up with the Takeulur genocide and sitting all their love and support. Shout out to our girl o CT sending you love and light.

And shout out to you for our Simmons for just being just a great friend, a great mentor just an awesome person. Man. Appreciate youase you know. I love you for life, and uh, I love Future. I'm just letting you out know one time for my dog Future Hendricks. He's been in the studio. That means and his most recent verses have been real toxic. That means Draking Future

is coming. That means more quotable comings, and that means it's almost time for the Future Hive, the men fan base of Future, to be outside again, to be outside again with these quotables, to be outside again with this toxic and that's how you're gonna do. You're gonna be outside and by yourself. Okay, just go go go Yeah. Time for future and one time for the Future Hive. God bless and we'll see you for the next episode of The Ballers. Have to come on the show as

much as you available wherever you get your podcasts. Free pants by
