Hold Up, Hold up up, Football alerts, The Ball Alert shows the kid Ferrari Simmons, I have your favorite Ethiopian suit, so low, what what happened? What happened? What happened? I think the compete the zoom just cuts out or whatever, like the computer zoom clipped you Yeah, okay, And it's ill produced by me O c T what they do. Baby guys. It's the last episode of the very Last Man. I'm just so tired, and we are still doing this from home at the very end of we are still

posting the Ball Alert Show podcasts from home. Yes, did y'all think it was gonna last this long? Mm hmm yes, because Liko is in charge. You're getting about it though. Isn't it crazy how Joe Biden isn't even in the office yet and it's already given us such a presidential vibe. He already has his team together, he's already telling us what his plans are. And then we can't even you know, two thousand now stimulus checked, that's been well overdue from

the current administration. Then checking chieve six honey tokens that's coming from the presidential seat. I don't know, y'all, I'm I'm over. I'm over. I've been over. I've been over it. What's killing me about that? Though? It's like everybody's like, oh yeah, the new Year. Oh my god, I can't wait. Like this pandemic is getting on my nerves. It's not gonna go away at the stroke of midnight, y'all. It's not over January one. We got a lot of work to do. And to be honest, like I think we

have a lot of healing to do. A lot of people are gonna realize how traumatic money has actually been. I don't think it's hit a lot of people yet, but it will sink in very soon. Well you know what it's needs to sink in in case you missed it, all right, Jeremiah still wears his hospital bracelet. After the COVID battle, he told Kendri g of Chicago's One of Seven five w g C, I what up? What up? What up? Shottown n What did do baby? It's just

a reminder of what I've been through. Then, he joked at the same time, these type of bands are hard to take off too. Um, I mean, the hospital bands are pretty tough to take off. Not famil, are you ripping? Bitches off, But I under I understand the sentiment, and I know that the COVID is real, and I know he had a near um, near life situation. So um, thoughts of prayers to him. I'm glad he's okay. I

am so happy that he is okay. Um. You know, when the articles were coming out, it was scary, you know, not just because he's Jeremib but but but for anyone that has been dealing with COVID nineteen to the extent that he was dealing with it. I mean, we heard some horror stories of people that had to be on ventilators. We've heard people even say that they may be dealing with long term effects after having COVID. So it was scary. You know, the community definitely rallied and prayed for him.

I just need you to take the band off off, bro, just like y'all know artists. I don't know that that's something to do with artistist, but I say artists because you know some people they take things and you know, he could be in the studio right now, you know what I'm saying, make it a record, and this could be his you know, motivation two to push that out. You know, what I'm saying. Everything inspires artists in many different ways. So maybe he's in the studio now, who knows.

I don't know, but piece of Jeremiah. I'm glad he's feeling better. I wonder if he apologize to Tiana Taylor now that he's gone through ma'am. Okay, let's move along. Us and his wife, Samantha, gives an announced of divorce. Wow, what is this guy? Damn his his brain rober got stolen out the driveway. I mean he got it back in three hours. But now this with a wife, that's sad. The announce on social media that they were divorcing. Any of their four year marriage. Tyres and Semantha married the

two seventeen. Their daughter was born in two thousand and eighteen. Should be three. Throughout this marriage with Samantha, it's been a pretty you know. Yeah, yeah, Trease goes through it. He's been going through it. I mean, it makes you wonder, like, is it him? I was just about say after this, but so many times now, Broy, it's the fingers gonna start pointing this way or this way back, and then it's gonna go start going like these people are gonna

be alright alone. Now, I mean, unfortunately, you know, sometimes trouble does follow people, you know, so it may not necessarily be fair to think that it is him or assume that it is him. But after a while, you're right, like where they're smoke, there's fired, and people are going to start to question him. So nonetheless, I hope they are okay. I hope they can co parent. I hope that he has access to this child um as freely as as any parent deserves has to have access to

their kid um. And I just hope that they can make it through the holiday season. It's already been brough, Like this year has already been rough. So to imagine a child dealing with what everyone else felt was and then dealing with your family splitting up during the holiday season, that's rough. A lot of people already have holiday anxiety. I am one of them, so I couldnt imagine going through that as a kid. Okay, I got some good news. You know, y'all know I'm sneaker head Master Pe and

Baron Davis. You know, he's a former NBA player. They are in talks to by reboked for two point four billion dollars. Alert really worth that much? Well, you know, Adidas acquired Rebok back in two thousand five for three point eight billion. However, it's value has decreased significantly and Adidas is looking to offload this brand. So who better to buy then master P. But you know, mamter P, he has his own shoe called them in Natti, So

I wonder will but they're cool cool. Well I wonder if if that could be a collaboration right there, if he oh just put them in Nati on reboking you know that now that now, that would definitely be a better. Look, what is the plan? Okay, you obtained this company that has already appreciattive value, right, what is the plan from master P to to take it back to where it needs to be or take it up to where it

needs to be back rebranded? Yeah? First, the first things first, they need to they need to sign a marquee athlete. So it won't be a Lebron but like a Zion but see Zion signed to Jordan's. But it will have to be a marquee talented um athlete or I mean they've worked with athletes, and I just think that sometimes y'all know this man, like sometimes sometimes it might just it needs to be a marquee athlete though. It has to be uh Paul George or um uh Kawai Leonard.

It has to be someone that if it's not that big, then you know it's gonna be you know, they would still just be average. Now do you think they designers on the team? What was that? They need some new designers, some new sneaker designers. They definitely need some off whites. Rebox, they need some off whites they need. I was never a Rebox fan though, like they are right, it was just the Classics for me, But every other ship that they really liked was just just not the Iverson's Lilla.

Iverson was a marquee athlete. That's what I'm trying to say. A marquee athlete will make you look at it differently, Like look at how we looked at under Armor when Steph Curry was on his tear. The kids were buying under Armor, and right now Kauai Kawai Leonard got some some kids buying New Balance because he's with new battles. But if Rebot can grab him and give him a shoot that looks dope, and who who like ka um Kawi Leonard Baron Davis, Masterpee, come on, man, make that happen.

And then of course they got to redrop some arms from Ali I prison shoes, some some newer silhoue. Now that would be so fire. I am excited that, you know, Master Pie wants to do this. I just really hope and pray that it is the revival that we bought me. You know what I'm saying. It would be so fire if we could have this black owned company, you know that we could probably rock and support and see it go back to this big brand name that it really

used to be. I mean, it definitely is still recognizeable. People still know the brand, but it's just it's not like how it used to be. So I do hope that Master Pie can take this and run with it. It's like we know he can. Um hope they just don't just hold it. And I think that people should just buy it because it's black owned. Now. Young Thugs says that he has more anthems than jay Z. What do you think, Rory? I think Young Thug is a very smart individual. Um, he's a unicorn. I ain't gonna

lie to y'all. He's a unicorn. He's specially gifted artists, and he knows what he's doing when he says things like this, Uh, do I think he has more anthems than jay Z? No, but you cannot deny Young Thugs records he has. Now, he has said that it's not about he's he records. His argument is that the kids know more Young Thugs songs. They just know more than jay Z songs. I would agree with that. I would agree with that, and not the obvious like there's a

major generational gap. Of course, of course there are rappers that we listen to now that don't really know about jay Z's catalog. So of course the generation that's probably these current rappers don't know much about jay Z. So I think it's it's an unfair comparison. Although it's true to a degree. I think it's unfair to say, like, because the kids know me, I have more anthems, that that's I mean, I don't know who was popping to three generations ago, you know what I'm saying, unless I've

looked into it. And these kids these days, they're not music sounds a lot of like right now. Okay, A lot of artists are taking the same melodies and same style and that's what they're rocking with. So of course, if this is all I listened to in the New Age, you care enough to research what was popping back then when it sounds completely different in a city girl NBA world, young NBA world. I've talked to this kid. He was about he about eleven. He thought jay Z was a singer.

Wait time out. My twelve year old considers jay Z Beyonce's husband. She doesn't know nothing about his music. I had to who he was and what he did and how much he has contributed to the mutual to culture. I had to teach her that though you know what I'm saying, and if if a parent or someone who's older doesn't do that, than someone who's twelve fifteen is gonna gravitate towards who's popular right now. I'm not gonna

necessarily say that. Like, you know, you have to live every day praising, you know, publicly praising the people ahead of you. But we have to stop discrediting people that really set the bar, especially within our own culture. It's like, we gotta stop doing that. Yes, we are younger, we're fresh,

we are popping right now. I got you, but please try not to discredit your own, especially in our in our own industries, Like we needed jay Z to do everything he did in his past, which is leading him to do everything he's doing currently and he's leaving his mark on the world. So I'm not really into the comparisons because sometimes it comes off as if you're disrespecting

the other person. One person, yeah, I got you, And like for example of the Kobe and Lebron thing before Kobe passed away r P Cope, they always compare Kobe and Lebron and Kobe fans we're so disrespectful, respectful towards Lebron fans, and vice versa. The same thing with Lebron and Michael Jordan's same thing. The younger generation think Lebron is the goat and the older generation thinks that Michael Jordan's the goat, and the conversations sometimes tend to get

disrespectful between the two. Well, let me say this. I don't know I don't know thirty to forty Young Thug songs, I don't know every Young Thugs song, and I don't know whevery jay Z song, So how about that? But what I do know is that bitcoin is popping, You're making its way to the sports world. Yeah, this dude, all this Panthers, the Carolina Panthers tackle Russell whom I hope I've seen his name right? Who come to get half of his salary paid in bitcoin? I don't love

that's smart or or dope or what I mean. I mean, from my understanding, bitcoin is doing absolutely amazing and one bitcoin equals a whole lot of ship ton of money. Um. I don't necessarily understand cryptocurrency, so I'm not even gonna sit here and say too much about it. But I think if you truly believe that we are going into digital currency, then will be ahead of the curb and our people actually making legal purchases with bitcoin already. Yes, so what what's the problem. I believe it has to

be rather large, but yeah, definitely. I mean, as long as you could spend the money then Yeah, he tweeted pay me in bitcoin and that, which became true on Tuesday, and they when he agreed to a fifty fifty split of his thirteen million dollars salary between bitcoin and flat currency. Oh yeah, I mean and and and if again, let's just be smart here. If he's being smart and knowing that the numbers will increase or you know, it's gonna get bigger. He's gonna get a nice flip um And

what five years now, I am I wrong? Or did bitcoin like originally become like or you know, cryptocurrency in general. Bit The thing, the reason why people say bitcoin so much, it's really just because of the brand. Like it's a big brand. So you know, big brand companies are usually gonna win, they're gonna be ahead. But there are lots

of different companies that have cryptocurrency. Now. I just remember watching something and it was what I took from it was bitcoin or cryptocurrency was a great way of like purpacy, purchasing illegal things, um drugs, yes, so yeah so, And the whole point is that you're not traced. The government cannot find what you purchased or who you purchased it from. You know, it's kind of like just going into this black market of buying whatever the hell you want with

no consequences. And now it just seems like it is growing into now like people can probably start buying the groceries with bitcoin pretty soon. Yeah. And I think, just like the marijuana market, soon it's going to be fully legal everywhere at once the government figures out how to monetize, monetize and charge their taxes. Once they figure that part out, it's probably gonna be a generic way of paying. That is a fact, because that's what they the government gonna do,

is come get their money. They're gonna come collect, Yeah, and then they're gonna hold on to it. In the pandemic, when the American people needed Speaking of the American people, our first African American female vice president took the first dose of the COVID nineteen vaccine. Octavia and Suzanne, Well, she didn't. She took the maderna. Well, one of two, you're right, one of two. I'm just not I'm not interested it. The thing is, we don't have enough knowledge

of what the long term effects are. Like, yeah, people are saying, oh, nothing happened to me, But how do you know something they happening inside your body? Like, how do you know when you have kids, they won't come out with three fucking arms or or some weird no balls, you know, like something weird, Like we don't know what it's doing to to us. We don't know. I'm sorry, the national nation of kids won't come out looking like them, folks, from damn Futurama. Oh my gosh, who I'm gonna lake

people gonna have a cartoon babies. What you're saying, they're gonna look like something. They're not gonna look human, They're gonna look like Trump. Well, Karma Harris says, let's do it, and she trusted. She said when she got her vaccine, she said that was easy. I barely felt it because we we've all taken shots before. We know it's easy. We just also know that black people have always been guinea pigs. We've always been the lab rides, and the

US government has broken our trust. Well, she says she trust the scientists. It is the scientists who created and approved this, So she wants the American people to trust the scientists, including Sue Solo. I don't trust Donald Trump the next telling them to hurry up and come up with something, hurry up and approve it. No, it don't. It don't sound like they came up with it and they were happy to put it out. It sounds like they fucking had to cool. What's for you? Any time?

I'm gonna take the vaccine, y'all, Okay, we're gonna put it on camera. Remember, it's gonna be it's gonna be a Balller episode. I'm gonna take the vaccine on that, all right. I will be there. I'll be there in support to catch you when you say, okay, you're gonna be just. I don't think anybody and my family is gonna take it though. Yeah, no Caribbean ever, it's going to take it. Nobody from the Caribbean is taking that ship. No,

we're gonna We're gonna have our seams are ginger. Well, if anybody was gonna be in the household to take it, it it would be the man of the house. So, now, how the wife you feel about it? Like, are the kids gonna get vaccinated? We actually haven't talked about that yet. So, um, that's gonna be definitely a subject because I mean it's not gonna be available for anybody like us to take

for a couple of months. So we'll have a conversation. Um, and then she doesn't want me to take it version Yeah, if she doesn't want me to take, me and her I have a conversation and then you know she used the so she's my boss. You know what. I loved her post of you guys because y'all just celebrated the anniversary, right, Yes, ye were celebrated. Uh, you need local the anniversary you want have got married because but nevertheless it's a one

year anniversary. So congratulations. I love to see y'all are great inspiration, beautiful black couple. But she said, um in the post, it's it's it's known to be happy wife, happy life. But I love when she said happy spouse, happy house, and that is the way it should be. So I I just love that big up to Mrs Rory. I love that that post was really about you guys being a unit, you know, and you got decisions together

and moving forward together. So when she said, you know what you just said, I was like, you know, so in our clubhouse room at Sue Solo on clubhouse at Ferrari Simmons, Uh, I talked about, you know, my insecurities like I speak about I think a lot of times men don't talk about their insecurities because it's a manly type of thing to be like, No, I'm I ain't insecure about that, I ain't tripping on that. But in

the whole time, you be insecure. Um with her. I shared my insecurities with her, and if you trust if you trust your lady. This is if she's the one and you trust her, you know you can share your insecurities with her, and you know she doesn't. Right, That's how it should be. That's how she's the same thing with her whatever whatever, you know, there's an issue for her. I make sure that I don't make sure I don't leave her with an insecure situation. So I just stay,

I stay in my lane. Where a team. Um. Again, I've never felt this way about somebody before. So yeah, I didn't think I would find somebody like her, but she found. I want to say, she's out met. So how did you guys meet? Uh? We were friends. Just we're just friends for a long time. Um, and the conversation was always good. But it wasn't until I was single that I, you know, I started hanging out with her. Once I once I was single, I was like, damn, okay,

you got a little but bad girl. Okay. I was extremely attracted to her because from afar, I never I didn't I didn't know, you know, because I never crossed that line once I was when I was in the previous relationship. Once I was single, well started hanging out. We started going out to eat, and then we would Um, I never would talk on the phone like that, but I would talk on the phone with her for hours. So that's how I kind of the first thing. And then I was like, okay, let me put my sister on,

let me put my mom on her. My mom met her, and then my sisters met her, and they, you know, they was like, oh yeah, I like her. That's for the first time. My little sister and my mom was on the same both said oh yeah, she she solid. So that's why I was all right cool, because I never did that before that either. I always was like,

all right, cool, they cool, cool whatever. Yeah, yeah, And then we just started getting tight and tighter and tighter, and then the conversation and we just enjoyed the same thing. She finishes my sentences, I finished her sentences. I know what she's thinking, she knows what I'm thinking. And again, I've never been aligned mentally anyone before across the across the board. That's how I knew, damn, this is this is it right here? You know, I just felt I

just felt that immediate connection. And again I never felt that way before. That's why when my friends be like, oh, how do you know I said, bro, I don't know. I just I just felt I felt butterflies in my stomach and just on some manship, I don't I don't want to feel butterflies in my stomach. I didn't even know. I thought I was like about to throw up type ship, but like it was on some I like her. Yeah you know what I'm saying. So yeah, it's just um.

Over time, we were really cool friends and then um, once I became single, then you know, and I actually had to pursue her too, Like she wasn't even on that when I became single. It took it took me about four months actually just to just to get her to like, you know, take me, like, yo, I like you, like for real, like I really like you. Some art I had to put in it. I had to put it.

I remember I sent her this, uh, this picture of a car that's like this close to the wall, and I was like, yo, like I'm disclosed, like what's up. That's when she agreed. We went out to lunch. We just went out to lunch one time and then we talked. We were done eating and we talked for a long time, and then that's how you know, I was like Okay, let's do this again. And all of a sudden, now we're hanging out. Now she's coming by. And then I didn't know she can cook. Cook cook. I was like,

oh my god, you can cook cook. Yeah. I'm over here, like, yeah, this is it right here. Yeah. Man, through the chaos of my boy's family grew tighter. And I love to see it. It is so inspiring. I love it. Do you know why, y'all? One of my good movies that I just that's gonna be in my classic movies nowadays. I just washed it over the weekend. It's called Sylvie's Love. Uh, and it's starring my girl, Testa Thompson. I love her

as an actress. Um, and it has uh Niambi. I'm not even gonna mess up his last name, but that's actually Carrie Washington's husband. Man. He actually produced the film, played football too. While he played he played football. Um. He's from California and um, he actually was a producer on this film and the main one of the main characters on the film. His name was Robert and it was about him and the girl Sylvie. UM. Y'all should

definitely check it out if you haven't seen it. It's so on Netflix, I've leave or again Amazon Prime, Amazon Prime. It's called Sylvie's Love. Definitely check that out you did or it will be a good watch for you and WiFi. But just started it yesterday. I didn't get to finish, so don't say too much. But I'm not gonna say I ain't gonna say nothing else. It's such a great movie. Man.

If you love love stories, you know, like the one we're just said, you would definitely go Sylvie's Love the show and serious news, though, the Justice Department officially announces that they will not charge the cops who murdered Tamar Rice. What a way to end, What a way to fucking slap us in the face one more time? A state grand jury decided against and died in a low low man. He was later fired after it was discovered he was previously unfit for duty. The use of force experts hired

by the family said the shooting was unreasonable. For use of force experts who were hired by the local authorities said the shooting was reasonable. You know, uh, I mean again, like to to to our friends who don't understand how this feels. This is a normal day in African American household. Uh you know, something happening to us by a law enforcement and then a law enforcement person just getting off like that's a normal day for us. So I think

it's no different. This is a normal day for African Americans. I'm just letting y'all know, the year of twenty twenty is a normal day in our life. Yeah, folks that live in uh you know, well well off backgrounds and stuff like that. This is how is being black. Okay, somebody in the neighborhood dying, somebody getting shot, somebody getting somebody hard house getting broken into, uh, police killing, somebody doing this, police doing that. That is a normal day.

That was a normal day for me growing up. Okay, I don't want to speak for all of it us, but I'm gonna say that's that was a normal year for me growing up. Is the funked up shit about every every year for me growing up was you know, damn you know. I hope, I hope we all make it to the to the end of the year, but it don't never end up like that. That's a normal

day growing up. It's it's so sad because so many of us are extremely desensitized, you know, It's it's one thing to hear it and to say that you're upset about it, but that true feeling of shock or hurt or disappointment really doesn't hit me that hard anymore. And it's because I'm not surprised this is what I expect

from America, that this is exactly what I expect. Um, And it's unfortunate, you know that it took the year, you know, where everyone was forced to be in quarantine for other races to look and see what is happening to us. Um. It's it's hurtful, and you know, I definitely love and appreciate the people that have really taken a stand, you know, with us, people that have become real allies. It's not enough to be a non black person or a non minority and just say I've always

hated racism, I've always hated injustice. It's not enough for you to say that. You have to participate in the you know, fighting against it on a daily basis. When you see something, you have to speak up. You have to have these uncomfortable conversations with your kids about what racism is and why it shouldn't exist. Because when you're not teaching your kids that young you're allowing the world, the world in society to to teach them, and we don't.

We Racism needs to die, if flat out needs to die, privilege needs to be a thing of the past. There has to They have to get rid of this idea that helping another group of people reach the same level of dignity that you have is not going to take away from you and what you have. It's not gonna make you less successful, it's not going to make you less of a person. Why is it that some of you feel that us having a level playing field diminishes

who you are? It doesn't, It doesn't at all. If that is a fear that you have, then you are knowingly oppressing other people. Then you know, you only got got that promotion because they wasn't gonna promote that black woman. You like, How how do you enjoy life that way? It just it doesn't make sense to me, I think to answer your question, and it's normal, that's normal to them. I think, Uh, this this year wasn't a normal year to a lot, to a vast majority of the public um.

But unfortunately, like if you notice, like man like, some people be so insensitive about we're so desensitized or whatever, if that, if I can say that word to death and stuff people dying to a point where like for me growing up, like I haven't been. I've been to a lot of funerals, like for real, for real, Like I can't even lie to you. One of my best friends got hit by a car in front of my face in eighth grade. Never forget that, been to his

funeral um due to cross the street selling drugs. Shot um, been to his funeral um. One of my partners around the corner that stayed out in front from seven drugs got set up shots been to his funeral. This is all in high school for me, like this is and this is never this, It's like never anything. So like sometimes when people and then you know, I saw King Van pass away. I was outside getting my money outside the club and then all of a sudden, I turned

to the right and I see people fighting. Then I just see boom boom boom boom came Von falls to the ground. That ship sucked me up. I ain't gonna lie to you all. And I didn't know it was King Von until like the next day because they you know, the rumors were like, oh King V he had that shot in front of Opium that was a club nightclub here in Atlanta, But it was happening to be right in front of the club I was leaving, and it

really it bothered me for a while. But at the same time, it wasn't the first time I've seen something like that happened, so I actually got over it rather quickly. But if it was somebody else who saw that for the first time, they probably be funked up about it for a long time. But my thing is, have have me seeing that before, like legit and dealing with that trauma at a young age, it kind of is just

like normal. That's one thing that really pisces me off about all this is, for some reason, people don't think that black people deal with trauma like they just think that we are these wild animals. Keep in mind, we are superhuman, Okay, with everything that black people have had penned against them, we are superhuman, that is a fact. But we still have trauma. We have things that we need to deal with, that we need to heal from.

And it's so unfortunate that, you know, little Billy Bobe can go through something and oh my god, we're We've got to get him to help. This is so traumatizing. Oh, my son, my son. But little black boys and little black girls are constantly at the hands of some type of traumatic experience, and no one ever thinks twice about it. There's no apology, there's no counseling offered, there's nothing, there's nothing. It's just like, okay, whatever it happens, but let but

let the roles the roles be reversed. It's a completely different reaction. I'm telling you. It's a real life grant up. Although while here in Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, New York, you ain't even allowed to have guns in New York, and it's still going violence in New York, Like it's a minimum two year sentence in New York, especially California, of course, And of course I'm leaving out other hoods.

I'm just saying, like, in your big metropolitans city, it's the damn Neil war zone and I shouldn't be getting swept under the rug on the low. Especially Chicago, Man, they love it. They love to see us in this type of chaos. They love to see us harming each other because they know if they help us, if they give us any type of help and we rise above. They already know what we're capable of. Don't get me started that we'll talk. That's a whole episode. But I

do agree with you, uh Sue Uh. White silence equals violence and ferrari for the world has been what it is for black people every day, and that is survival. So I definitely agree with Thank you. M. Slavery taught us how to survive, not to live. We are not truly living. We are in survival mode and we have been since the first European step foot on Africa and looted the entire continent. And before we go to the next thing, I just think that that's what our parents

taught us to how to survive. I think in a different in different households, they don't teach them that. They teach them how to thrive. They teach them about their credit, They teach them how to you know, save money. They teach them how to earn money. My parents didn't teach me or none of that. They taught me a bro, make sure you get you a job, get some health benefits. Motherfucker. You see them police officers, God damn you feel me. You don't funk with them? You know what I'm saying.

They pull you over, keep your hands on the stair wheels. Matter of fact, on your way home, take your hat off, don't be don't if you have a hoodie on, take your hoodie off. This is the thing. These are things that's embedded in my head for my parents and my grandma. You know what I'm saying, When you see a police officer, don't, don't look them like, don't give them a reason to think that you're a criminal. That's things that were taught.

They're not taught that. They're taught about credit and um, you know, building foundational generational wealth. We just started doing that with our with our kids. But I would say for us, and I don't want to talk about this too long because that's a whole another conversation, but we're the We're the generation that's doing that for the youth now. Like I have conversations with my kids that my parents never had with me at their age. I'm talking to my twelve year old about what you want to be

when she grow up. I've never had that conversation with my parents. They know, my parents aren't even graduating from high school. Dog all they did, all they knew was get a job and get some health benefits. None of my parents graduated. My dad had associated arts degree, my mom got her g D. My grandma never finished school. You know what I'm saying. My sisters went to college, dropped out. You know what I'm saying. I was the

first person to get it. But I'm talking to my kid and I'm actually the first person in my household or in my family that followed their dreams. Everybody else have a job. You know what I'm saying that likewise, my kids wanting to follow my dreams. That's what I'm saying. So my conversation with my kids is different. I'm talking to them about my daughter is twelve, but she can draw.

I'll be over here like baby, you know, you can make like five hundred dollars each saw that she was over here like what I was like, Yeah, And I'm just opening their minds about what do you want to be when you grow up? You could be anything you want. I never was told that. And I'm not saying my parents did a bad job. I'm just saying they just taught me how to survive. They ain't teach me how

to live my dreams. That ain't that. Ain't how I was ready because there wasn't no black president until after I was a growing as man. But my kids seeing a black president, so they now see that, Oh, I could do that if I want to. But when we was growing up, ain't these babies early nine, these babies, we ain't see no black motherfucker black president. We thought vice president. We thought that ship was impossible. Well, I know what I'm for. The ship seemed like it was

gonna it was never gonna happen. But my bad job, I don't went on another tangent. Go ahead, It's fine, man. We have to pray for the well being of our children, and you know it was well. Let's praying for each other and praying for world people worldwide, including Ethiopia. Do you have an update for us, Sue? Unfortunately, you guys, the war and the tip Ry region of Ethiopia is getting worse. UM. I do want to acknowledge before I move any further that, Um it is really unfortunately not

even only happening in the tip Rife region. UM. I have to acknowledge what is happening to the people of Rama, the Romans day. The Romans have been at the hands of violence for a very long time, a very long time, and they are again dealing with what is happening in Ethiopia now. If you guys do not know what's going on, please look at hashtag pray for Ethiopia, hashtag stop war on Tigrai. It is a genocide. Ethiopia is officially on the genocide list. The Prime Minister i'd Be is not

allowing for any media coverage into the Tigwai region. There is no medical supplies, no food, no water, no power. There are well over sixty thou refugees that have migrated from Ethiopia to Sudan. Sudan is now facing a famine. So yes, the people are Tigray are surrounded by devastation. There's there's nowhere to go. No matter which direction you go in. You can't go north to Eritrea because Airitrean soldiers are actually killing people on site on the border.

You cannot cross um air train soldiers are actually they're actually in the region of ti Ride as well. People are being massacred, churches have are being bombed, Pregnant women are being cut open. It's it is Rwanda, it is it is, it is bad Um, it has now been over sixty days since I've spoken to my mother. I have absolutely no idea where she is. I don't know where the rest of my family is either. I don't know if she has migrated. I don't know if she's

hiding in the mountains. So I literally have no idea where she is. She they as as people of the tail Life Region. They are not allowed to access their bank accounts, so she can't even get her own money to help her in any situation. Most people are being denied their medication. UM. Doctors have fled the high hospitals in the regions. There's nothing there, so, UM, we need support, you know. And it's just it's it's gonna be the same thing that I say every week until things start

to get better. Um. There has been some form of communication, Some communication has been restored in MCLF, but that is one area, you know that that's there are thous hundreds of thousands of families that are lost. There are seniors who were separated from their families, don't know where their kids are. Um, they're fending for themselves. There are people who refuse to leave certain areas because they think that

their families will come and meet them there. They're just hopeful that a sibling or or any relative will show up. So people are Some people are standing their ground in pure deserts, you know, starvation, nothing, waiting for a family to arrive, and it's just it's not happening. So we need to continue the Black Lives Matter movement because if black lives matter, then they matter everywhere in the world.

And unfortunately Prime Minister i'd be is acting as a dictator and we have to get him out and we have to make sure that he's held accountable for the war crimes that he has committed. So we're gonna continue to pray for Ethiopia. I will continue to have faith that my mom will call me at some point, and I believe that she will be okay. So as soon as I hear that, y'all know, I'm gonna be shouting

at from the rooftop. So please continue to pray and fight and if I just find out what you can do, I know it seems difficult, it seems very helpless, but sometimes just using your platform to talk about it helps to bring awareness to people that would have never known about it. Sometimes that's all we need. So pray for all of Ethiopia. All of Ethiopia needs peace. But please pray for the people of the a more regions and the people take that. We'll be right back with more

of the alert show message. All right now, it's time for baller mail. Dear Ari, I'm twenty and my love interest is seven. He's mad at me at the moment because I haven't had sex with him. We have been talking for two months. My thing is he hasn't proven himself worthy to have sex with. I do really like him, and I'm extremely attracted and I am I and I am extremely attracted to him. Should I let him hit that? Or should I let him or should I keep making

him wait? Because again he doesn't He don't do anything to prove himself otherwise. Please help baby. This is the easy it's baller mail I've ever received. That is yr box, that is Yova Gina. And if do nobody worked for the way you see fit keep them legs closed because it seems like once you let his ass hit that, he's gonna go ahead and slide up out of that. I'm just letting you know. This is what y'all had.

This me, me and Suo Solo was talking about this last night on Clubhouse follow Us the Clubhouse underscore is Underscore too, solo on Clubhouse Underscore to Solo at Ferrari Simmons. Listen, ladies, you guys have the power to choose who you have sex with. If you do not want him to have if you do not want to have sex with him, if he doesn't prove anything to you, do not sleep with him, because all you're gonna do is you're gonna be right back in my d M talking about I

let him hit it and he left. Now what should I do now? I'm telling your ass now, and I hope by the time you watch this episode you ain't let him hit that box. You need to work for it. You need to pull himself worthy. Okay, I m mrs RORI made me wait long if I got a little you know what I'm saying, A little yummy out, okay, a very long time. And uh I sat there and

waited because I really liked her, and I proved myself. Now, if you don't want him to prove himselves, and you want to go ahead and let him slide up in there, that's cool. That is your vagina. You're a grown person. It's okay. Just understand after you let him do that, the expectations, uh, because he didn't prove himself to you, so you shouldn't have any expectations. Why should you have expectations by with sharing your body with someone that didn't

prove themselves to you. I understand that sex is not going to keep someone okay just because he wants the sex and he's making you feel bad for making him way. Don't feel bad about that, girl, don't feel bad about it. That is you and your body and you give it to who you want to give it to when you feel like they made you feel like you want to give it to him. And he did that, so he to yourself because he ain't gonna do nothing. But he didn't quit it, like Rory said, and he probably smashing

somebody else until you're ready. Keep keep in mind, like guys, we sleep with who we can. Y'all sleep with who y'all choose to m So I'm just understand that we ain't open the noleg that then we are inserting. You know what I'm saying. She You guys are receiving, but you have to open sessing me for two for for a guy to insert, So if you don't want anyone to insert, if you just and if you ain't, again you said it to yourself. He didn't prove a damn thing.

So now y'all, just physically you'll just have a physical attraction and if that's what you wanted to be a transaction, cool, Just don't have any expectations after the transaction is complete. All right? Uh? Do you have any parting words or for the people um on this last episodes? Yeah, I wanted to get a little deep, y'all, I ain't gonna cat um. I wanted to talk about anxiety before we get up out of here. I think a lot of

people have issues with that. I do. Um, Sometimes our anxiety gets the best of us, and we do things and we react in a way that, uh, sometimes we shouldn't have, like will snap on close friends and relatives and um, people we care about, even co workers at work, because we have anxiety issues with things that happened outside

of our normal space. And I think that, uh, I would encourage each person to kind of, you know, explore options of speaking to somebody, because I think when people think that you have a therapist, that you're crazy, You're not crazy. It's just someone that's a professional to help you channel and set boundaries within yourself so you don't slap ship at your co worker, or so you don't shoot the whole club up or show you so you don't beat your best friend up for doing some dumb ship.

I mean, I just you know what I'm saying. Or you don't snap on people that you care about and you hurt people feelings. You know what I'm saying, Because at the end of the day, we're all emotional, and you see when people just snap and go crazy and just curse everybody out, and that's anxiety issues man anger anger management is real. Anxiety is real. I think people who should really tap into setting boundaries within themselves and channeling that inner peace and be a lot more peaceful

in the way that you handle conflict. I think a lot of times we see it on these reality TV shows, they'd be just getting crazy and lick. But I guess that's that definitely draws ratings. But at the same time, necessarily see five years down the line that that person has now grown from that situation and they say I shouldn't have did that, and they're speaking to a therapist. I'm just letting y'all know it's okay to have anxiety, but it's also okay to go speak somebody about that.
