The Back Room Show continues its “Stories From a Pandemic” special series of conversations. The goal of the series is try to help bring people together, and bridge some of the “social distancing” by sharing stories from everyday people on how the Coronavirus crisis has impacted their lives.

This episode we talk with Amelia Frank-Vitale. She is a doctoral student in anthropology at the University of Michigan who is currently living in New York City. Her research focuses on migration and violence in Central America, Mexico, and the United States.
