Episode description

In this episode, Marion talks to Nic Wilson, an Aware Parenting instructor and certified Marion Method Mentor, from Peaceful Parenting. Nic shares many practical things she does to support her daughter in relation to school, including a lot of attachment play - she shares in chronological order, right from preparing the night before, to playing games to help her get out of bed, to games in the playground before school. She shares how other children also join in with these games in the playground too. Then Nic talks about how she helps her daughter to feel connected with her during the school day, and how she connects again after school. She offers parents ways of being powerful advocates at school, including with notes and responses in parent-teacher meetings and responses to homework. You can find out more about Nic's new online Aware Parenting Course, the Parent Alchemy Journey, at https://nicwilson.samcart.com/products/parent-alchemy-journey-course/ You can find her on Instagram at @peacefulparenting and Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/PeacefulParenting.com.au Her website is at: www.peacefulparenting.com.au
