Japan is different. We know that. But what about the supermarkets?

Austin and Arthur talk about their experiences living in Japan and going to the supermarket. Especially if you’re from the USA, you may be surprised by what you hear.

Compare to Kroger, Safeway, Stop and Shop, Fred Meyer, Japanese supermarkets tend to be pretty small scale. The way to buy produce is different. The selection of fresh and seasonal items are different, the shopping carts are different. Pretty much your whole experience will be different.
