Episode description

In today's episode of the ATP Project – Melatonin and Screen Time, Jeff and Steve discuss the potentially hidden health compromises associated with too much time in front of a screen and why current and future generations may need to pay more attention to how just how much time they spend across screened devices. They cover off on some new findings on the impact that excessive screen time can have on brain chemistry with a particular focus on the hormone secreted from our Pineal gland called 'melatonin'. Melatonin's crucial role in sleep, reproductive health and its actions against oxidative stress.
