Episode description

Five members of Canada’s 2018 World Junior hockey team — Michael McLeod, Alex Formenton, Carter Hart, Dillon Dube, and Cal Foote — are set to stand trial on sexual-assault charges this week stemming from a June 2018 incident in which a 20-year-old woman alleged she was assaulted over several hours in a London, Ontario, hotel room. The Athletic’s Mark Lazerus, Dan Robson, and Katie Strang discuss what to expect during the trial over the next several weeks, beginning with jury selection on Tuesday.
