Episode description

The Aside Podcasts are a free resource supported by Drama Victoria - Australia’s oldest Drama Association In this episode of The Aside, we talk with Danni Hradsky, Jane Carter, and Andrew Byrne about a recently published article they (among others) collaborated on. The episode begins with a short reading of one scene from an Ethnodrama that came from a series of interviews conducted into the experiences of teachers tackling First Nations content. We also talk about how teachers may go about starting to teach this content and how the article may help motivate or encourage educators to approach this content in drama classrooms.
