As parents we often resist the present moment and white knuckle our way through the sleepless nights and all of the diapers. However, by doing this we often miss the beauty and the joy that is waiting for us in each moment. Every stage we go through with our kids can be endured or it can enjoyed, it is up to us and it models a lot to our kids.
